Brandon was EXCELLENT!!! My Fiancé and I came to this Ashley location to get a new couch, we kinda knew what we wanted already so we just needed to narrow the choices down. We came in on Tuesday and saw a few couches, we needed to confirm measurements and sleep on the one we were going to buy. The next day we were ready to make the purchase, we contacted Brandon to confirm if he was working. Brandon was off but he CAME IN TO ASSIST US! We are super grateful for the amazing customer service we received from Brandon! He made the experience super smooth and stress-free, no type of pressure what so ever, very honest and down to earth! The manager, Greg, was professional and funny, he was also excellent to work with regarding numbers. Overall, we had a superb experience and will be returning for future purchases! 1000/10!!!

I have been shopping at this homr store for the last few months and through their online portal. I have not had a bad experience, there were times I was not happy, but I tend to overlook it until I get the end product. This time this was not the case; I made a purchase for a dresser and it has been a complete nighmare. They tried to deliver me the item broken and they tried to stop me in looking over the item completely to make sure everything was okay. After telling them I am allowed to look over the item to make sure all is well, I took noticed right away the dresser had scratches along the sides and bottom, the back of teh dresser had screws coming through the back which tehy said was normal, but then the bottom drawers came apart completely once I pulled it out. They tried to bully me in keeping the dresser and it took calling my husband on the phone in the midddle of his meeting for them to back off so they can take back the dresser so it can replaced with a new one. In the process of receiving a replacement one, I was put in contact with my home store Poghkeepsie and I kept receiving unsatisfactory answers in regards to receiving the replacement order. I never throught it was possible to have the same item be rescheduled for delivery three times and canceled by the company all wihin the same week. I was already unhappy for we are going almost 4 weeks since the original purchase date and all I wanted in Ashley calling me is a refund. To get a refund is a nightmare, even though items are being sold by Ashley it comes through a third purchasing party which they make you jump hoops to speak with them; which is still not a success. It took talking to five agents after receiving the third cancellation on their end to be told they will only refund me a portion of my order, when I asked why is this be if I was inconvenience in receiving the order which they delivered broken and took back. They said they need to pay the drivers for attempting to deliver the first item which once again arrived broken. I dont understand how they want to be put on me when I purchased the white glove purchase is to be given a item in good condition which I can still use; but didnt. The company is a scam and robbers; they will do everything in their power to not refund you and beware they will not give you ypur money completely. The store knew I purchased my first house and have been shopping for a new room to furnish every month. I am disgusted with the quality of service and will prefer to take my shopping to another store which will not give me the problem. Now I have to wait to see the amount I was refunded to complain to my bank and at the end of the day I will have no dresser and all my clothes are still on the flor. Thanks Ashley for not even attempting to really assist and I could have purchased another dresser instead with you, but were not interested.

Walking into the store I already knew what furniture I wanted to get. It took 10 mins after walking in for anyone to come up to us. I showed the salesmen what I wanted. The prices online were way cheaper than the stores prices. They tried to up charge be three times. After I got my furniture I wanted to return it. The store told me to call customer service and customer service told me to call the store. I have been going back and forth for days with different people. They told me I only can get back store credit and need to pay a restocking fee. I would be losing 100s of dollars doing that. There is nothing in my contract that even says any of that and sales person never said anything about this. All around terrible customer service and terrible experience. Save the trip and go across the street to Raymour and Flanigan. Better customer service and furniture.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is terrible. Customer service is a 3/10 when you want to buy something and a 0/10 when you have any issues. First they tried to overcharge us 3 times. Then when we didn't like the furniture and tried to return it they have been zero help. I don't even mind the restocking fee of 20%. It's the fact that they only will give us store credit (which is does not say in the contract) and they won't help you in the store. You have to call customer service and we've been waiting a week for someone to get back to us.
Their customer service and manager Jonathon is awful. They make false promises. I bought a couch in August and was promised it would be delivered in 3 weeks. I still do not have a couch. I was promised a discount and still never got one. I was also promised it would be delivered today and took off work. No one decided to reach out to let me know that it wasn't actually being delivered today. I had to email and call to finally find out it is still back ordered. No one wants to help me resolve this issue. Bob's furniture has better customer service. So not shop here. It is not worth it.
If I can give them 0 stars I would. Do not shop here. They are liars and have awful customer service. I ordered a couch in August and they told me 3 weeks for delivery. It is now the end of October and still no couch. Taking my money was easy for them but trying to get help and answers is difficult. It was supposed to be delivered today. My husband took off work and this morning they told us they were not coming only after calling and texting them. They were not reaching out to me to let me know it was canceled. No delivery date in sight and they do not see anything wrong. Go to Bob's at least they have good customer service and people that answer.

Actually went to Hand and Spa and Facial Spa. Was awesome, great massage for 1 hour. Wish it was longer. Expensive but worth it.

I recently purchased a sectional couch from Ashley Furniture, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked into the store, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Terrible experience. I ordered a sectional over 1 month ago. It was supposed to be delivered this upcoming weekend. When I purchased the sectional, the sales lady promised that it would be delivered the date I needed it. Ashleys reached out to confirm delivery for this weekend. Later to find out the day prior to delivery, that its going to take another month to be delivered. After calling the corp. office, all they did was pass the blame onto the manufacturer. News flash- I purchased the item from Ashleys, not the manufacturer. Maybe I should have bought it directly from the manufacturer instead since thats all Ashley will do to remedy the situation. The assistant manager did do everything in his power to try to make the situation right, and even took money off the purchase price. But i feel bad for him because Ashley furniture should not be putting their employees in these types of situations because they cant properly manage their relationships with their suppliers. Customers should have more then a 2 day notice that their furniture is going to take an extra month to deliver. If you want your furniture to actually be delivered on time, and want to buy furniture from a place where they actually care about their customers, look elsewhere. They do nothing but offer empty promises. An experience like this should never happen.

Colin - it’s always so wonderful to have an associate who actually listens to your needs and accommodate them right away. We explained what we wanted and you exceeded our expectations. Cooksey, the thank you for assisting my Mom with the wheelchair… which was a lifesaver making it possible for my Mom to explore the huge store and shop for herself. Mike, you were at the front desk and I don’t know if you’re always there, but I can see why an organization would have you there as your cheerful and inviting demeanor is pleasing as a first and/or last encounter into a store. There were two other associates who assisted as well, I don’t have their names but I thank them as well. There was an environment of camaraderie that was refreshing and our entire experience was lovely. My Mother and I thank you all and we look forward to shopping at your store again. I had a fabulous interaction with the Sales Manager and he provided me with a price, all in, including delivery. I accepted the price and he said he'd be right back as I sat on the furniture I was purchasing. He reappeared and asked me to step up to the register. Then the amount he told me was $150 more than what he said 5 mins previously. He acknowledged his mistake, but refused to honor the price he quoted. He provided the wrong price, which included financing, but said he was unable to do anything about it, so I left. It was his error, not mine 😔 Other than that, it was great! Lol

Purpose was looking for sleeper sofa. We were directed to the general area and after a few minutes we were helped by Terrence. We let him know what we wanted and after showing him a couple we saw online he helped us find one. Granted we went next door to another furniture store but Ashley’s pro r was better. We went back and completed the transaction. Terrence was a very polite, unassuming sales person. The staff worked together to complete the sale. Delivery fee was less than other store too, would recommend
Good experience! Fast transaction! Even found a comfy recliner in the clearance section that Jeff (warehouse worker) wrapped up & took out to my car. Jeff was also nice enough to inform me of a “Hope to dream” program that’s offers new beds to our youth. Thanks Jeff! I will return and update my review once I utilize the recliner and my new dining set.

I have to share my experience because I was so pleasantly surprised. Had been shopping for couches for 2+ months but couldn't make a decision bc all of the shipping online said 8+ weeks for delivery and we needed something sooner rather than later. We went into the store and were greeted by Jonathan who was such a pleasure. He wasn't pushy and really helped us to make a decision. We ended up ordering with him and then having buyers remorse and changing our color the next day. The store was super accommodating and gave us zero issues. We had couches delivered by the sweetest delivery drivers as well ALL with 1 week from going to the store. Will definitely be shopping for all my furniture going forward here. Thanks!!!!

We were surveying reclining sofas at various stores with no intention to buy immediately. We had not seen anything that impressed us. Partly due to the quality of furniture at Ashley’s we became more interested. However, I think what really sold us was the personal attention and quality of service that the salesperson Adam provided us. Adam was very personable and helpful without being pushy. He gave us a comprehensive overview of the various qualities of the various sofas. He told us what distinguished Ashley’s furniture from other manufacturers. He let us look around without tailing us, but he was readily available to answer questions. Adam treated us like friends and not customers. I think his salesmanship is an extension of a genuinely friendly and outgoing personality. He made our decision to purchase an enjoyable experience.
After making over 10,000.00 purchases with Ashley, they refuse to be honorable and do the right thing. We purchased a mattress and box spring. After calling and advising that the box spring has a manufacuters defect, because when speaking to the sales people at the store our situation “has never happened before”. Instead of making an even exchange and showing some concern for our situation, the customer service reps advise that we have to make a payment of the restocking fee and made me drive 40 minutes for absolutely nothing. Very disappointed to say the least. The rating I would give is a big fat goose egg!

What a waste of time, bought a couch, they've got about 1000 buck from me, the delivery was scheduled for over a week, day before, they said it's canceled, they have no reason, they don't know anything. I've already gotten rid of my old couch. What a waste of time this place is. And they use wishy washy third party services

My husband and I bought a dining set just over a year and an half ago with their “accidental protection” plan. Just after the one year manufacturers warranty expired the chairs began to fail. Not to mention the coating began to chip off immediately after we got it. We contacted the third party warranty company “5 star” and they said everything we submitted claims for were considered usual wear and therefore not covered. However, they did offer to send someone to fix our set and be charged in full for the repairs! How thoughtful…. After contacting the store directly, an associate told us we were **** out of luck and there was nothing they can do. My husband and I used to work in the furniture business as store managers and this is no way to treat customers who are under the impression that they are buying quality furniture with a supplemental warranty plan only to receive a set made out of painted partial board held together by cheap hardware and a scam “protection” plan. We will not be contacting Ashley’s again to rectify this issue, their associates have made it VERY clear they will not be willing to assist us. Your staff cannot care less about their customers once that commission hits their paycheck. This store's customer service is egregious. We are going to shop for a new dining set right next door at Bob’s, where we have had nothing but great experiences purchasing our other furniture from. Thank you for absolutely nothing. If I didn’t have to put at least one star, God knows I wouldn’t have put any!
I am very upset and dissapointed. I have spent thousands of dollars with Ashley furniture in the recent past. 2 months ago I spent almost 8 grand alone. My wife and I went this past Sunday to get a new mattress and it turned into an absolute @#$% show. The mattress expert was upset because I wouldnt buy an almost 6 thousand dollar mattress and when we walked over to the discount section lets just say he lost interest. I was on a budget and did not want to spend too much so he ended walking away and left us alone for over 15 minutes while another lady sales person came to help us check out. Then it turned into an argument when he finally came back because he said that the lady stole his sale. We were in the middle of all this when all we wanted was to buy a new mattress. In the end, the manager had to come and intervene.And we ended up getting the wrong mattress in which we absolutely can't stand. The mattress is super hard and uncomfortable.And now we are stuck with a mattress that we don't want. After all these years of doing so much business with ashley furniture we are done never again. We will take our business elsewhere.

The gentleman that we dealt with his name was Dave very professional extremely thorough very patient did not feel like I was being rushed. He very much dedicated his time and knowledge to make the bed buying experience, a pleasant one highly recommend Ashley furniture and their extremely friendly staff. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY "5STAR SERVICE PLATINUM FURNITURE WARRANTY" ITS A COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!! The plan is trash this was the first and last time I buy from Ashley.... Bobs is the way to go!!! Absolutely nothing is covered even though is under the meaning of "COVERED DAMAGES" of the SUPPOSED WARRANTY! The customer service of the warranty claim is retarded as well!! I tried to explain that when you are trying to submit a claim in, it won't give you the single option of bubbling of the wood, it has some other stuff within that option and so the "5star" more like a -100Star will tell you that is not covered due to cumulative damage which I was just trying to report one at the time of the claim and the claims representative kept saying that I had reported stains and other stuff in the claim which is not true that just how the table looks.!!!!!!!! THATS THE ONLY OPTION IT GIVES WHEN TRYING TO SUBMIT THE CLAIM!!! THERE IS NO SEPARATE OPTION FOR BUBBLING!!!. JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY AT ALL!! You know after a good presentation by the salesman which everything was fine no problem with him except after receiving the merchandise at my house and the delivery guys left because I said everything looks okay we were looking at everything and it does not fit in our living room correctly and the company says well too bad that's our policy and the salesman never told us that everything is non-refundable there's such a small fine print on the back of the paperwork that nobody reads and they don't really stress that to you so for that I'm giving two stars because now I'm down $2,000 for a couch that I don't need to have and they won't take it back at all so just be leery on every detail before you sign the paper

I normally don’t leave bad reviews because I’m a bussiness owner so I know how it goes but I Would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a ottoman from this place and it has been a nightmare for two months now and still don’t have it. First i ordered it and didn’t arrive till a month later to find out it was stained all over and I had to go personally to get answers because no one would give me an answer. Then the manager ordered a new one and told me to keep the damaged one (which I got rid of it because my appointment is too small for two of them plus who wants a stained ottoman?) so after 3 more weeks when I thought I was finally getting the new ottoman, they couldn’t deliver it because in the system said that it was a exchange which couldn’t happen because since the manager told me to keep the damaged ottoman I got rid of it.. NOW the manager ONCE AGAIN ordered a new one and I have to wait a few more weeks for it. 3 months trying to get a ottoman SMH. Bad communication & poor customer service… they want to you purchase and they will be on top of you until it’s paid then when you have a issue no one will answer, The store never picks up the phone and you have to go in person to get to talk to someone. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE

There’s are a lot of positive things to say. Shout out to the Ashley team at the Poughkeepsie location specifically Jonathan and Adam because that’s who I worked with specifically to get my furniture and financing. I must say, if Jonathan and Adam are a reflection on the team dynamic there, then I can only assume the Poughkeepsie location has the best team ever! 10/10 recommend seeking out one of those two for a pleasant shopping experience. Super easy to talk to, friendly, very knowledgeable and honestly they made it an over all super chill experience and believe it or not, they had ACTUAL PERSONALITY AND UNDERSTOOD HUMAN INTERACTION. It seems like basic human decency and the art of interpersonal conversation is lost these days but NOT at Ashley Poughkeepsie. The Ashley team at Poughkeepsie make you feel very welcomed and noticed and they are splendid to talk to from start to finish. By the time you leave the whole exchange felt more like pleasure than business. If I were you, that location would be my next stop for furniture.

We ended up changing our minds after the purchase as we were walking out the store, and he was accommodating and helped us with the changes, and got the furniture we wanted and needed rather then just trying to make a quick sale. Over all we spent about 4 hours in the store and his humor helped with what have been a very stressful shopping process. He made us feel comfortable with our purchase and delivery.

Would give zero stars if I could. I was mislead by a sales associate in the Outlet store as to the price of the couch I was interested in. I was told the wrong price for the protection plan as well. When I placed the order the price was DOUBLE what I was told and if it wasn’t for the fact that my children were with me and the whole process of ordering it was taking so long and I needed the couch asap I would have walked right out. They scheduled my delivery for a Wednesday so I took off of work to be available all day that day. No one called me leading up to it, no email saying a time frame. I called on the day it was meant to be delivered and turns out there was no delivery scheduled for the day they said! And no explanation even though I showed them the email confirming the delivery being scheduled for that day. No email rescheduling. No phone call. Nothing. I’m appalled that this company doesn’t care about its customers. It is a clear disregard of my time and money. Will never shop here again.

At first the associate named Brian was helpful and friendly and then everything turned into a nightmare when part of our couch could not fit up the stairs. We explained the situation to Brian hoping for a fast resolution but he just gave us a run around and we even tried meeting in the middle by refunding that part of the couch and getting another chase to replace it (we asked for another chase because the first one fit up the stairs). Brian said it’s not possible and gave us a number for a third party breakdown service that was not helpful at all. We came back and spoke to Terrance who sorted everything out with no issues. We got our chase this morning which we are happy about.

My husband and I had an amazing experience here…Yvonne helped us find a beautiful and heavenly comfy sectional couch, and a gorgeous accent cabinet that we are using as an under tv entertainment unit. She was amazing to work with— incredibly patient while we explored everything as we had our 7month with us—and showed us everything we were interested in and listened to all our preferences. She made the shopping experience so nice that we are really looking forward to going back for some other things we saw and we are incredibly excited for our new couch to be delivered. What we found was also better priced than the similar couch we found at Raymour and we liked the color options better. They had a lot of really nice stuff and affordable pricing.

Buyers beware of the warranties on mattresses and furniture they sell you. I was convinced to buy their 130$ mattress cover so that my mattress could be warrantied. As well as an additional furniture warranty on my couches. Nevertheless I had to try and utilize both these warranties and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. I was unaware that if you have any stains on the mattress they deny you a warranty. I used their mattress cover how is it my fault stains still got through and what does that have to do with the fact that the springs on the mattress are sticking out the sides within just two years. It’s honestly just an excuse to get out of helping the customer. For the couches I did everything they asked and it’s been a year and nobody has handled it. I’m so over these million dollar corporations taking advantage of people. I will never shop with Ashley’s again. They sell overpriced garbage and don’t care about what happens with the people after they walk out their store, nor do they care about honoring any of their warrantees. Don’t waste your time go to an honorable company and buy good quality furniture.

I really feel like the salesperson at Ashley should have been transparent about this...especially since we mentioned it as our reason to buy the plan. So disappointed I spent $280 on nothing.

Just bought my forever home and went in to Ashley Furniture. Very friendly staff. Markese and Destiny were amazing! They made me feel like I had an interior designer working for me. The process did take a little time as there was a mix up with what I wanted, but it was cleared up as soon as we noticed it. Will definitely go back for more pieces as I settle in.

Don't buy their furniture. It is so cheap. We bought a couch about 4 years ago and it started to break almost right away. I am finally done with this one and bought another couch from a different store. When I took this one apart, it was made out of plywood and staples. They used a cardboard for the front corners of the arm rests. No wonder it broke

The associates offered complimentary water and Starbucks coffee. There is something there for every price point. My experience in the store was great! They really took the time to see what we were looking for and helped us pick out a perfect mattress. Unfortunately when our furniture was delivered, our king size bed set was delivered with a queen mattress. Additionally our sofa did not come with a hook for our chaise. I called customer service, sent pics and turnaround time is supposed to be 48 hours, it has been over a week and still no call from technician or anyone. We had to return mattress and at the end it was not a good experience and will not be repeat customers.
Adam and Brian helped sell me a LuxBreeze Tempur Pedic mattress and I appreciated how welcomed I felt from the second I walked into the store. Both Adam and Brian were very helpful with pointing me in the right direction for the exact type of mattress I was looking for. Brian set me up on a machine that showed me what type of mattress would fit me both and then gave me a few options that would best suit my needs. Both were very professional and would recommend Adam and Brian to anyone at anytime.

The price of the sofa was $2,299. in the store. Ended up paying $2,100 out the door. Got home & saw online that the sofa was $1,699 on the Ashley site! Then found the same exact sofa for $1,310 from 1Step Room’s to go. Cancelled my order & I don’t plan on shopping at Ashley again! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

We came in December and purchased almost an entire apartments worth of furniture from this store. The customer service was divine but the people who installed our bed were awful. They didn’t speak to us, and instead of letting us check the install they forced a phone infront of my boyfriend and told him to tell their boss they finished???? They hurried him and told him he didn’t need to check cause it’s done and then left abruptly as soon as he said yeah they’re done. Once we finally got to looking, they broke the wires of my desk and are missing viable pieces to it. That I can forgive what I can’t forgive is the fact they installed our bed BACKWARDS Which caused it to split in the wood today and completely break. We haven’t had this bed even 4 full months yet. This is very poor workmanship and now we are out 6k ……we have to get a new bed frame now and are very upset.

Seems the store was on “holiday” according to their voicemail. I called the corporate center on the 10th at 9a only to be told by Daniel that delivery would be the 15th. I called back spoke to Patricia. I wanted to know when the delivery date was changed. She did not know but she had a delivery date of April!! At this point still no communication. Drove to the store to settle the issue. They lied they refused to acknowledge the time and consideration I had invested in this delivery. I cancelled my entire order. Now, let’s see if they make good on the deposit refund. Stay away from Ashley!! I’m reluctantly giving one star just to get out of this post

WARNING: DON’T BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. My husband and I bought a very expensive couch from Ashley's and have not been happy with the product at all. Within 2 months of owning the couch we ran into issues with the cushions. We've spoken to management many of times to try and rectify the issue, but they are not willing to work with us. We've had a technician come to the house at least 5 different times to bring it back "up to standards". However, after only 2-3 days after it goes back to what it was like prior to the technician coming out. We've had new cushions sent to us and it still does not resolve the issue we currently have. ASHLEY FURNITURE IS OKAY WITH STEALING OUR MONEY. My family has bought from Ashley and we also furnished our new home with some pieces from Ashley, I never thought I would say this but I will NEVER give Ashley's my business again. I'm so disappointed in the product we bought and I'm even more disappointed in the customer service. Management has closed our complaint stating they did "everything" they could, but yet my couch is still not fixed. I have some cushions that are 3inches lower than other cushions. I'm disgusted with this company. UPDATE: I had called customer service and was told that someone from management (Wendy) would call me back by the end of the day. Mind you I called earlier on in the day so there was more than enough time for a phone call back that same day. I NEVER got a phone call back so I called the next day in the late morning to follow up and and apparently Wendy and the other manager were out. This is not unusual because they did this when they were dealing with my husband. They said they would call back, we wouldn't hear from them for weeks at a time and when we'd call to follow up they would happen to be off. Since they were off I asked to speak to someone above them and I was told no. Their customer service is a complete disgrace! ASHLEY FURNITURE IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS! UPDATE: 2/8/2023 So I finally was able to get a hold of someone only after blowing up social media, in which they mentioned they saw all my posts so I know that is the only reason I heard from Ashley’s. I spoke to someone in the escalation department and was told that what has happened from the start of my claim was not handled right (this is very true) and they for one last time they wanted to send out their best technician to look at my couch. Word for word, “this technician is the last and final stop” Well the technician came and basically reversed everything the last 4 technicians came and did and say we needed new cushions. Please note, that this was what Ashley’s did in their 1st time to try and fix the issue and it didn’t work. So weeks after having the 5th technician to come out, we got our new and “better” cushions. Within not even 24 hours of receiving these cushions and changing them out, the integrity of a couple of the “new” cushions already looked super worn. I called and spoke to the person who stated that this would be the last and final attempt to bring someone out here and of course it was LIES. She then transferred me to someone else because obviously she was tired of dealing with me and he states that he wanted to bring the same technician out to service my couch. I told him that will not be necessary because I was told something different. He then said he was going to see if he could either give me 20% of what the couch was worth as a credit and let us keep the couch. I said I don’t want the couch because I’m clearly not happy with the quality of the couch. He then said maybe we can do a store credit and I could pick out another couch and upon delivery of the new couch they would pick up and remove the other couch from my home. This was only after arguing with him that he mentions this “solution”. He said he would have to speak to him management team about this and I would received a phone call back. It’s been a week and crickets…so I called 2 days ago to follow up and I was told I would get a phone call back the next day (yesterday). So I called again today and was told that no one is available from that team to talk to me. ASHLEY FURNITURE IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS!

The furniture is fine, the in-store salespeople put on a good show. What happens after you pay is not fine. They don’t have their own delivery staff so the people bringing the furniture to your house are independent contractors, usually in an unmarked vehicle. Ours randomly decided our mattress was the wrong size, spurring two hours of me being in the phone with service people trying to figure out if we could get a replacement in time to still host family for Thanksgiving (our delivery was delayed two weeks to the day before the holiday). The compromise we reached was that we would keep the mattress until after the holiday then they would do an even exchange. The delivery guys bring the mattress into our house then ROLL IT UP LIKE A BURRITO AND TIE IT WITH TENSION ROPES. They got the mattress upstairs, unwrapped it, and whoops the mattress had been the right size all along, but it’s got several stains. We were under the impression we were going to get a follow up from customer service after the holiday, and that impression was reinforced by our delivery guys who took photos of the mattress’s stains and said they were reporting them. So, because we were told we’d be getting an even exchange, and nothing else, we didn’t reject the mattress for arriving damaged or for the additional damage the delivery guys did to the inner springs when they rolled it up. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive a follow up and every time I’ve contacted them for the following two months, they’ve told me if I contact them via email, I should be contacting them via telephone. When we call, we’re told we need to email instead. Every interaction, they pretend it’s the first they’re hearing of it. So we have a dirty, lumpy mattress and 4 delivery attempts later, we’re still waiting on our additional pieces of furniture because every time our office chair gets rescheduled, it’s then cancelled again the night before, the day of, or, once, on Christmas Eve because it “has arrived in a condition that is not acceptable for delivery.” So, yeah. The furniture we got is fine but overpriced for the quality and the service is atrocious.

I understand they are trying to sell a product, but they do it in a way that does not make you feel pressured or uncomfortable which is rare to see today.
I purchased an entertainment center that was delivered damaged. It took weeks to find out how to get the furniture returned. It's very difficult to find the right phone number to call - chats and texts which are generally non-responsive.

We started our search at Ashley's. We almost never buy the first "anything" we find. We met Giovanni,and we left without buying anything. When we decided to buy, we returned to Ashley's because Gionvanni was the best. He gave us space to discuss the furniture between ourselves. He was close enough to answer questions when we had them. He literally rolled an end table through the entire store looking for a matching coffee table. We didn't even take the end table. He made furniture shopping fun.

I WILL NOT USE THE POUGHKEEPSIE LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! I bought a bunch of furniture and these two chairs from them last Thursday and they didn’t give me the screws that go with one of the chairs so now I have a chair sitting on my living room floor with no screws to put the legs on and I’ve called to try to get my screws from them and they answered twice and told my mother and I that they would call back with a solution, but never did. We both have called over a dozen times and the phone just rings until it’s disconnected. Unprofessional and they have so regard for customers when they make a mistake.

I will always choose Ashley's for now on. I bought a bedroom set at Raymore Flanagan and for 10months I had to sleep on the floor waiting for it. I showed up at the show room once again, just to find out the vendor pushed it back again and got a refund immediately. Went to Ashleys right after. The employee was so friendly, told me to look at what they had and then gave me a bottle water. After like 20mins he found me, asked if I need anything. I showed him a picture of the bedroom set I originally did purchase at Raymore. He then showed me every bedroom sets that had the same concept. I picked the one I wanted, he took the time to explain the delivery process and the warranty which I bought. He also took the time to have me purchase everything with him so I didn't have to wait. 9days later the bedroom set was available for delivery. I didn't respond back to the text message I received. Two days later the gentleman personally called me to tell me it was ready and to pick a date for delivery. Even the delivery process was quick and easy. The delivery men were so friendly and even helped me figure out the best way the furniture would fit in my bedroom. I'm so happy with my bedroom set and had the best customer service at Ashley's. Thank you guys for making the horrible experience I originally had turn into one of the best and also for having my furniture be here just in time for the house warming party next week. Thank you!!!
We had a super fantastic shopping experience at Ashley Furniture Homestore! We were well taken care of by Giovanni as we shopped for bar stools, two couches and a patio set. We were super pleased at how reasonable the prices were considering we had several pieces to buy. Giovanni was very informative, upfront, funny and all around nice guy to wander around a store for an hour with. We never felt rushed or pressured at any point even when we were being most indecisive. We’re looking forward to receiving our pieces in a week (could have been sooner, but we needed to take care of a few things in the house first). All around great shopping experience!

I went to Ashley's looking for a particular sectional that I was unsuccessful finding anywhere else. Giovanni greeted me as soon as I came in and offered to help. I described what I was looking for and he was able to meet my expectations.
No problems shopping at the store. All of the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery is another story. Everything arrived the day it was supposed to, albeit late due to delays at other stops. One of our pieces was also assembled hastily and that caused damage to the piece. A replacement was arranged but upon re delivery, the wrong piece of furniture was sent. Update: 5/21/22, the table was replaced today and everything went smoothly.
The sales associate was kind respectful and help me get a furniture set that i like could afford and was a great help. Jason is phenomenal.

A Mother's Day Ride... We decided to check out Ashley's to see if they had any sleeper couches that we might be interested in. At the door we were greeted by Giovanni who immediately asked if we wanted a wheelchair for my 88 year old Mom. She said YES that would be great and before we knew it, he whispered something in her ear and I hear another YES and off they went. Not that buying a sofa sleeper should involve squeals of laughter from an 88 year old woman, but indeed it did. Giovanni took us (per request) to the clearance section first of the sleeper sofas and we saw a beautiful blue leather one that we loved. He opened it up and I looked him up and down and asked his weight (lol he answered honestly) and then I asked him to lay down on the couch and describe what it feels like. He was SO honest in saying he felt the bar and we talked about options we could do for this. Listen, it wasn't the end of the world as it's an occasional sleeping space , we totally appreciated his honesty. We decided on the couch and then asked Mom, what do you want to see and she said a new dining table. Just a note, when you reach a certain age, raised (stools) chairs are easier to get up and down on and off -- that's why you see raised chairs in many doctors offices. We found her a cute pub table with four chairs but she was having trouble moving her body and so, we found a similar chair that swivels -- This is going to make all the difference in her life. The rest of the process (who likes paperwork?) went seamless. Natalie worked with us on payment arrangements, delivery, etc and she was an absolute delight. While Giovanni and Natalie were doing their magic, making sure our order and delivery was handled properly, I had the opportunity to meet Shawnae who answered a few of my questions and got water for us. Of course I had to ask for Mike (Senior Store Manager) as I wanted him to know personally how great his team was. Honestly, if it wasn't for Giovanni and how kind he was (simple kindness goes a long way) and his playfulness with my Mom and his knowledge of the furniture he is selling, we never ever ever would have made the purchase at that moment. I am not generally an impulsive shopper and prefer to take our time, but this experience led me to trust Giovanni and in turn, trust Ashley Home Furnishings. I ordered bar stools waited 2 months, they sent me dining room chairs and then refuse to pick up the order or give me a refund for the wrong merchandise. Scam scam scam DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them. I’m calling News 4 on your side. They were already televised in the past for taking payment on a bedroom set and not delivering

I won't buy anything else from them at all. This store likes to sell furniture so called new but is damaged with no wrapping on it at all. How do you sell something as new but is unwrapped and damaged after waiting 6 months. This has happened to me twice with this store, however it won't happen again. I will never shop this store or any Ashley store again. My mom has bought items from them and she lives in Florida and didn't have this issue happen to her. So I'm really confused about this store's story that it comes off the truck unwrapped after the sells associate tells you it comes in a box wrapped buyer beware.
UPDATE: 6/5/22 When I originally posted this comment and picture I had nothing but great things to say. Now that I've been using the chair pictured and a matching couch, which both have "zero g" reclining. I asked the sales person how far we need to keep both items from the wall, to which she answered "2 inches". That is not correct.... FYI: While furniture that has "zero g" reclining does (for the most part) slide forward more than conventional recliners to keep it from hitting the wall, these need more than a 2-inch gap between it and the wall. Therefore....after using the zero-g furniture, it turns out that you will need to keep the furniture at least 4-5 inches away from the wall if you want to recline all the way back.

I was met by Giovanni at the door - very cordial and professional. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for - power sofa and lovesest in leather. He showed me a couple of options - I ended up choosing a set in durapella in gray. I wasn’t familiar with that fabric but he assures me it will be durable and I bought the 5 yr warranty. They honored a discount from a card I had received in the mail - which advertised up to a 20 % discount. They gave me a 15% discount after checking with the manager. That’s my disappointment- I don’t know why I couldn’t get the whole 20% discount. I’m hoping the fabric does hold up and that service is good if I have any problems. Thank you!

Reclining sofa purchased at Kingston, NY location became loose unstable within 2 weeks of purchase. Ashley would do nothing and told me to call the 800 number for my extended warrenty. Called them and they said its a manufacturer defect and should not have happened on such a new piece. They recomended calling Ashley back. So upset.

My husband and I needed a new mattress and we honestly didn’t have an idea where to start. We were greeted by Adam who listened to our needs and passed us to Gio who performed a sleep fitting. I WISH I could get negative stars. First: If you are shopping at an Ashley Store, check the WEBSITE prices first. We were charged about $800 MORE in store than online (yes, we added the exact pieces and went all the way through checkout so it added the tax). When asked about this, the manager said "Did you ask to price match?". OMG! Why in the world should a customer ask for a store to price match their website. Second: We cancelled our order within 24 hours. Its been over 3 weeks and we are still waiting for the $3700 refund. Just talked to the manager: "It's not our problem anymore." was her reply. "The refund was approved ONLY 2 days ago." Took 5 minutes to take our money but over 3 weeks, going on 4, to refund? Now it's completely out of their hands if we see ANY of our money back. I will be reaching out to the Attorney General and the BBB. Also posting my review anywhere I can.... We will be ordering the same exact pieces through 1StopBedrooms.com and saving over $1000. I walked into Ashley Home Store yesterday prepared to buy multiple items. I walked by 6-8 different employees and NOT ONE employee asked if I needed help or assistance and I was in the store for over 20 minutes. Needless to say, I walked out and bought elsewhere 👋🏼
You can't use a discount coupon if it's not in stock at the "online" site. But we can get you the items because we have a separate warehouse for the store to draw from. Same company? Two warehouses? I believe bait and switch. So why did you send me a coupon that could not be used? The facts are we bought a set last year, even at that time the items were out of stock "online" but it's OK because we have them in our warehouse that we ship from. Today wanted to get two more pieces. Out of stock online so you can't use the discount coupon we mailed you. (Same Company?) But they are in our warehouse that the stores ship from. Well that makes no sense to me. So buyers be informed!

Well we go there every week and look and purchase. Today we went in and saw a clock on the wall that she wanted for her new beauty bar. We spoke to a salesman and told him we wanted the lowest price no fooling around, he told us after speaking to a manager price 200.00 when it was 249.00. I saw a guy I noticed all the time there a good guy named Joe. He told me the lowest price is 194.00. We said great, and we waited over 20 minutes to finalize the deal and my wife said we are out of here. I said why and she told every time she buys something it takes a very long to finalize the deal. Funny part of story we got the same clock for 159.00 on liñe.2

This company is a scam!!! They delivered my mother's furniture damaged. When we called and tried to get a replacement, they accused my 75 year old mother of lying and damaging the furniture herself. They could not provide me with the "so called" pictures they had both at delivery and at the inspection visit. I continued to pursue this and they had the nerve to say they had my mother on a recorded line saying that she damaged the piece herself and it had water damage!!!! 🤬. Reported this company to the Better Business Bureau. Such a disgrace that they would pull this scam on anyone especially a 75 year old woman. Never will I buy from them or recommend this company to anyone!!!
Adam was my salesperson. He is great!! He has a lot of patience. I was very unsure if I should pull the plug and order 2 of the chairs that were even more than I needed. I needed swevel chairs for my living room. I have been looking for months and couldn't find any that I liked. Adam asked me questions and yook me into the reduced area of the store to show me a chair he though might work for me. The chair was perfect. It is the color I was looking for, not only does it swevel, but it rocks and reclines too! AND, The price is right ! Adam also told me to be sure to thoroughly inspect the chair when it is delivered. His works were " sit on it, spin on it, rock on it, and recline, multiple times. " One chair would be delivered before the other. The first chair came. The guys put it together. I did everything Adam said. I was not happy with the way the chair reclined. The legs didn't come all the way up. I called Adam and he told me not to accept it if I wasn't happy with it. They took the chair back. Today, 2 weeks from when I originally placed my order with Adam, my 2 chairs were delivered. They are both PERFECT! I am so happy with my experience with Ashley furniture and Adam. Thank you Adam for guiding me through this and making it a great experience!

Worst quality furniture that I have ever purchased. I bought a leather couch set and the leather started to peel within months the motor for the recline stopped working and then the bar set that I purchased started to develop a crack in the wood. I had purchased extra protection which they claimed do not cover these types of issues. I have since purchase furniture from Bobs and Raymore and Flanagan which I have been very happy with. The table top on my kitchen set started to separate in the wood grain after a year, they gave me nearly 95% credit for the set against a new set and I haven't had one issue with the items that I purchased from Bob's. I won't even walk into Ashley furniture again.
Don’t shop here. 🚩 🚩 If you miss your delivery time they will charge you $99.00 I spoke with 3 customer 3 customer service representatives, I requested to speak with a manager twice over 4 hour period and finally I was told the drivers do not have to come back even if they are still in the area and that it is at their discretion. What does that even mean? If an item is out for delivery a paid customer should be able to still retrieve their item.This is a deliberate scam to squeeze money out of people. Company’s like this use third party vendors and it’s an excuse to over charge for cheap items. This delivery was for my parents and now I’m going to convinced them to cancel this entire order and go with someone else. Way too much confusion and had to speak with way too many people for the same outcome. If you are reading this you can do better. If you shop someplace and you ask to speak with a manager and you are told none are available so you proceed to ask for a voicemail or an email and you are told, “we have a lot of different managers and I don’t know who will take your concern so I cannot give you any further information,” that’s not a good sign. Buyers beware!!!

Now on to the delivery when the delivery people came they asked to use my drill to set up furniture. Sold me a moldy smelling chair and have the most inconsiderate customer service. I bought a new chair from Ashley this past weekend. When I opened the box to assemble the chair I was greeted by a musty moldy smell. The chair smells like it's been sitting in a 200 year old wet basement, it's horrible. I've asked Ashley's customer service to exchange it, thinking this is just a weird, fluke thing and surely a company of their size and stature would have no problem simply exchanging a chair. Well I was wrong, the customer service rep told me that they will not honor and exchange and to try putting a satchel of coffee beans under the cushion. Won't be doing business with them ever again.
Walked in there to purchase a mattress, was not greeted once. Tried out almost every mattress in the store without one person approaching me with many employees on the sales floor. I walked out since I wasn’t being helped walked passed about 4 employees still not one person even looking at me. I’ve recently had a bad interaction with another furniture company so i was a little hesitant to buy another set if the couches were not in stock. In my previous purchase (somewhere else) the in-stock date kept getting pushed back, so i was nervous to say the least about these couches. But cody assured me that there was a better chance of my couches coming early rather than later and 2 weeks after my purchase date, i scheduled my delivery! THANKS SO MUCH TO CODY! He’s awesome and was a great sales associate!!!!!

We went in having no idea what we wanted and Giovanni was incredibly patient and reassuring with us as he showed us literally every single couch/sofa set in the store. I had a 30 Percent off coupon and they would only do 10percent because they said the furniture prices were already 20 percent off. When you see the price tags, you would never know that everything is already 20percent off.
Way overpriced vs. buying online, and I spent a ton of money on a sectional that is broken after only 3 weeks. what a headache! Very unhappy right now!!

UPDATE: I wanted to update my review and change my 1-star to a 4-star. After my original review, someone reached out to me to discuss further. It took an additonal two weeks but I was able to get my bed replaced. I appreciate the follow up and follow through. Though, I do not like that it took all of the below to get this done and over with-they made it right and that's what matters. I am leaving this review to show that eventhough we had a snag, Ashley cares about its customers and wanted to do the right thing. Thanks to Chanel for all her help-she was great. **BUYER BEWARE** Ashley’s sells great looking furniture that can at times lack in quality, which is what it is. However, where they lose me as a customer is the lack of accountability and willingness to make things right. I bought a twin bed from them which broke within 6 months of its purchase. It took from April to Aug 2021 (eta on shipment of new parts) to hopefully repair it. They won’t replace the bed because they can in essence repair it with the parts that will arrive in Nevuary (insert eye roll). In the interim, one of my kids has not had a bed in more than 6 months. If you buy from Ashley, get a protection plan and hope whatever is broken can wait for them to source the parts from overseas. I will never buy another piece of furniture from them again.

I’d just like to say, Ashley has the worst quality in furniture. The items are “dropped off” which means you actually have to assemble it yourself. the detriment to that is, if the furniture is damaged you have to wait for them to replace it rather than receiving your money back to purchase something of better quality. If I wanted that, I would’ve went with Ikea seeing as Ikea’s quality may just be superior and that says A LOT! Also their marketing is poor considering the coloring was awful. Do not buy from this store!! They take your money during the sale and tell you how much they care for you, but lack the supply chain to actually deliver. They have been holding my money for 6 weeks with nothing but broken promises of when it will arrive. They have blamed Covid, fuel shortages, and gif knows what else.. I call them every day and they telll me it will arrive next week. As I am sleeping on the floor at this point it is comical.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. We purchased our items on May 1st from Sheronica in the outlet- we paid for these items in full (did not finance) and explained we were moving into a new apartment 6/1 and would like to have the items delivered there. We were repeatedly reassured booking a month in advance was more than sufficient time to get the items delivered on the day we wanted. Fast forward 3 weeks and 5 phone calls later. We have been told their computer system does not allow them to book delivery more than 2 weeks in advance- so we have to repeatedly call back to see "if" they can deliver to us. Then we are told they only deliver to our area 2x a week and GO FIGURE those 2 days are already full. After demanding a refund we finally speak with an "operations manager" who assures us she will do her best to get our items delivered wed 6/2 [NOTE- we were offered delivery 5/26 twice but had to decline as we would not have the keys to the new apartment yet... but remember this date as it's referenced later] Today we get a call saying "not all of the items are available in the warehouse- we are hoping they arrive by 6/9- then we can arrange delivery". WTF?! So, everything was in the warehouse when u offered delivery 5/26 but now those items have magically disappeared?! Customer service is beyond incompetent and this entire experience has been a disaster. We are now waiting for yet another call back from a "manager". Perhaps we will get our furniture by 2022?

I recommend, dont go to ashley, i bought futniture from them in march, they promised me, my funiture will be deliver in april. I got only 1 love sofa, rest of funiture i disnt get it. They never contacted for deley. When ever i call ashley customer service they said, my furniture will be deliver next month. Now almost 3 month. I canceld my irder and request for retrun what i got. They not want to take it back.

Edit: so my review stands firm. Katie was very nice on the phone and email but was not able to resolve any issues after spending $10,000 on their products. She was told by her higher ups that I had to pay out of pocket to fix my furniture or fix it myself. Worst experience ever. Will never go back there and I will be passing along my story to everyone that says they are looking for furniture. Worst possible experience I have ever encountered. Bought the extended 5 year warrantee to cover all furniture after spending $10,000 in the store. Apparently the warrantee only covers damage that happened within 30 days and anything after that is not covered. So I call Ashley and they tell me they can’t do anything to help me either after spending $10,000 in their store. Avoid Ashley furniture at all costs and definitely the warrantee company. Will not be shopping there ever again.
Checkout process needs to be more efficient. At least an hour of trying to checkout. Also we had one salesperson start to help us, he showed us one section then ditched us and had to wait for another, I think her name was Ava. Well first go lost out on big commission because we ordered a lot. Thank you Ava (hope it's right name) for all your help.

They ok. I got my bed frame and it came cracked but being that my husband took it now I have to say we damaged it. Thank goodness for the 5 yr warranty huh. And the store number for Poughkeepsie is wrong. That 732 is not them.
Worst experience ever! We bought a mattress 3 years ago and its the most uncomfortable thing in the world! Its definitely not the same mattress we tested. We called them a few months in and complained that it was not the same as the mattress we tested out, they said it still has to get broken in. So we wait about a year in and the mattress is still extremely uncomfortable and call them back and we are told it still needs time... we were really unhappy and not sleeping great so we purchased a foam topper to go on the $3500 board we were sold. Time goes by and the foam topper is no longer doing the job. When i took it off i noticed the ruts in the bed. So I call them again ( mind you this is in the beginning of covid) to try to get the mattress warranteed. They inform me my warranty expired 26 days prior and there is nothing they can do. I try calling corporate and im still waiting for a manager to call me back. I called last april for the first time and a few times after that to no avail. DO NOT BUY MATTRESSES FROM THESE GUYS.

Absolute worst experience of my life. My salesman Bill was very explicit in telling me not to sign if anything was messed up on my order. Everything but my kitchen table showed up on delivery day with no Forewarning that my order was short one piece. When I spoke with my salesman I was given an attitude so I just hung up. Now it has been a month and I still do not have my furniture that I ordered and I cannot get in touch with the store that I ordered it from as the answering service poor customer care will not patch me through. So I have to go down to the store in person. Had the family over for Easter and nobody had anywhere to sit After spending $4000 on a new table and chairs. If there was a zero star I would have chosen that

DO NOT Purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. We have been having an issue with a delivery and customer since Sept. 2020. Customer service is unprofessional and they have no idea what is going on with delivers or orders. You cannot speak to the store via phone, don't even try. Wgixh means you have to drive there each and evertime there is an issue. Stephanie in the store is helpful, but can't make a decision. I have asked for months to speak with the regional or district manager, and nothing as of today 4/9/2021. I have texted, and called for a supervisor finally spoke to a Nicole, who was supposed to follow-up for three days, and nothing. Was promised she would call before end of business 4/8/2021. We have contacted BBB, and will nothing. #disappointedcustomer

Quality of furniture is horrible, Sad. Going to build my own. Update 3/18/24; The Danbury location closed, no wonder. I would not give this place a dime, it's "independently owned and operated". My wife and I went there for a mattress and the sales lady was so pushy with add-ons. They kept trying to talk us into 60 months financing, what a joke, "look at the monthly payment, you get all these things". Yeah, $189 pillows, $129 mattress covers, $39 pillow covers. The website had prices for in store purchasing, 60 months 0 percent, who wouldn't go for that? Well, don't fall for it. We didn't even get to what the payments would be, I'm sure added up, probably costs more the the actual mattress. Leaving the store, trying to be nice, I asked the sales lady her name, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "eh, it doesn't matter" felt like I just had a bad date. Seeing that some people allegedly lost money at the Danbury location after abruptly closing, I'd caution buying from this place. Now, go ahead with your copy paste robotic response. These corporations are getting worse.

Never shop at Ashley’s. You’re better off sleeping on the floor with a mattress. The people in the store are lovely, but as soon as you get your purchase, it is entirely out of their hands. It is up to you to spend over 2days trying to contact a sales team or manager to speak to you. The company does not care about you but instead about money. Better off saving a bit more to shop local with someone that genuinely cares about customer service and making their customers happy. Their furniture quality has gone done, and in all honesty, what’s the point of saving a couple of bucks to buy something you will need to replace in a year or two. I am not telling you what to do with your money but I will advise you to go to a local furniture manufacture. If you live in Poughkeepsie try Davies Furniture the people are nice and they will ensure that you are happy With your order. They also get to control what happens once the order is received.

Do not buy anything from the Ashley store in Poughkeepsie! They are the worst. I have alway purchased from Ashley but this has been the worst experience by far! Purchased a patio set, wrong chairs sent so we refused to accept the chairs. After numerous phone calls and chairs returned they still cannot get us what we ordered. We placed the order in January!!!!
My boyfriend and I are moving into our first apartment; after visiting another store, we were not really sure if we would be able to find furniture that worked for us and came to Ashley’s. Giovanni took the time to run around the store and find pieces that we would be happy with. He gave us his entire attention and made our experience so pleasant. I’ve never had better customer service; from the second he approached us to the second we left, he was by our side making sure that we were able to find everything we needed. He worked with our tight constraints and made sure we were set on the decisions we made. If it meant moving a table onto a rug to better visualize what we would be getting, he was willing to do it. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the pieces but also personable and really seemed to care about his customers. I normally find these experiences to be agonizing but Giovanni made it easier with his charismatic nature and willingness to work with us. I can’t wait to see everything in its place! So thankful for the Giovanni and the entire team at Ashley’s in Poughkeepsie!!

Bill is the #1 👑 Yesterday, I went to the store for the first time and I was very unsure about what the customer service was going to be because sometimes people are just not helpful. However, since I opened the door bill received me with a big smile, he offered me water and coffee. He asked what I need it and how soon, he showed me different prices and options! I highly recommend him because he truly cares , he is genuine, kind, industrious and has a big heart. I am very grateful. Thank you so much ❤️ We need more people like you in this world. I ordered 7/8 of last year and still have missing furniture. The times they did try to deliver the missing pieces (6 times) it was either missing off the truck or broken. Still to this day I am missing stuff and everytime I try and contact them I'm either put on hold for over an hour or get hung up on. They also add warranties that I did not even want to my order .Absolutely no communication at all now!! I spent over 10 grand and I will be taking this to COURT!!!! BUYER BEWARE

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Horrible service gave this company numerous chances order after order over a 3 year span. Nothing but problems and issues from paid for warranty service to guaranteed delivery drop off dates. Customer service from the management is useless... Borderline want to hire an attorney and sue them at this point
My wife and I went in today for a bed and ended up getting a tempurpedic mattress, adjustable base, sofa and recliner. Giovanni and Brian were very caring and attentive getting us waters and getting my daughter snacks. It was a big purchase so when we needed time to talk together they gave us time and space and didn’t pressure us into anything. Giovanni was knowledgeable and a great salesman really knew what he was talking about and was passionate. They took care of us and we are excited to have the best sleep we will ever get.

Purchased a $2500 sofa set in November of 2019. After numerous delivery delays - finally received it in February of 2020. That should’ve been my first clue that this was not going to be a good experience. Fast forward a year & the quality is so poor that the cushions have lost their fluff - no stability, you sit down & hit the bottom of the sofa. It’s ridiculous. The cushions on the back of the couch are a lumpy mess and need to be adjusted every time you go to sit down. It’s junk. Never ever will I buy at Ashley AGAIN. As others have stated in previous reviews - I will spend a little more if need for quality at 1 of our other area furniture stores and tell my friends & family to steer clear of this place.

I’ve been doing some renovations to my home and was looking for a new dining room set. My space is small and limited so I couldn’t get anything to big, I walked into Ashley’s because I saw a table and chair set online that I fell in love with but wanted to see it in person, Bill was available to assist me and he couldn’t have made the purchase any easier. He was honest and extremely helpful. He also has a wonderful personality and very friendly. I can’t wait for my new table and chairs to be delivered!!
Went Ashley furniture store in Poughkeepsie looking for a bedroom chest. Giovanni was my agent. He took time to take me around the store showing me all the dressers that fit my needs. Once I narrowed it down to 3 dressers he looked up their availability on line to see which one was immediately available. I appreciated that so much! My new dresser is being delivered next week. Giovanni is excellent and so is the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this Ashley furniture store.

I had a wonderful shopping experience so far. First visit to the store was a quick once through so I could get a feel for their selection and there was much for me to choose from. I was looking for a sectional couch with specific measurements and a layout in mind. Bill approached me and was friendly and knowledgeable but not pushy. He took my number and contacted me the following week letting me know of a sales event. I found the perfect piece and Bill was helpful in pricing things for me but never to pushy. We shall see how delivery and set up go next month. Hoping it goes as smooth as the purchase.
Tito and Nick were a great team. I did not intend on purchasing a high end mattress, but the both of them listened to what I needed, and to all of my concerns and suggested the perfect one! Nick walked me through the entire store (even the discounted section). They both gave me all of the pros and cons and the differences in each of them. They both were fun and engaging, and spent a lot of time with me (never making me feel rushed). Ultimately I purchased the greatest mattress I have ever owned. I highly recommend Ashley, and when you go there ask for Tito and or Nick!

We went to Ashley recently for a bedroom set. Giovanni helped us to find exactly what we were looking for. He was very friendly and welcoming. He was helpful in finding us sets that matched our style and specific measurements we needed. Everything went smooth and he was able to get us a quick delivery date. What a horribly run company. I ordered a bedroom set for my new home on September 10th....finally after numerous delays and several store visits/phone calls later (due to the stores lack of communication with customers) I received a bedroom set close to 6 months later. To start off the day of the delivery, I have videos of this company driving down a NYS hiking trail to get to my house, because there incompetent delivery team cannot follow a GPS. Then after the furniture was set up in my bedroom, I quickly realized the entire bedroom set was not what I ordered. Upon arriving at the store that day a sales associate named “Bill” who was originally helpful, realized that “Andre” who I originally bought the furniture from in store on September 10th, mistyped my whole order, and I had been waiting on the wrong furniture for 6 months. Bill helped in the store that day start the process of an exchange, that was supposed to take 2 days for approval. 3 weeks later, and several phone calls to customer care later, I had still not been given a date for the exchange. By this time Bill had become completely unresponsive to his phone and my questions of what the status was with my exchange approval. After another trip to the store, somehow a sales manager was able to approve the exchange within minutes, after being told for weeks that I needed an approval that was sent from corporate to the store, with emails being sent directly to me to further prove their email had been sent. At this point I stated that I only wanted the furniture in my house to be picked up and refunded and to cancel my original order. The pick up date was set for yesterday, Saturday the 13th. I received a phone call prior letting me know the truck was 30 minutes away to pick up my furniture. An hour and a half later, I received a voicemail stating that my driveway was unplowed and they were getting stuck and I would have to reschedule. I own a plowing company....my driveway is plowed as wide as a highway. There would have been no issues getting to my house even with a semi truck, which only meant one thing. They tried to drive down the public hiking/skiing trail yet again. Another hour plus on the phone with customer care, and I have another pick up date scheduled. This will be close to 7 months I have had to deal with this disaster of a company. They hire completely incompetent staff, and must teach all their employees to lie thru their teeth to the customer to give the illusion that they care and are trying to be helpful. THEY ARE NOT. Avoid this company at all costs so you do not find yourself in the same situation as myself. Lastly, I’m never one to write reviews about poor experiences at establishments, but this has been such a headache and become almost comical at how unorganized this company is that I feel as if I have to, to hopefully prevent others the same misery.
First time in Ashley HS and I had an amazing experience. Giovanni and Tito made my evening. This two guys know what they are doing, are professional, well prepared and I laughed a lot. I definitely would recommend the store to family and friends.

The Poughkeepsie store is a disgrace. Full of lies and very very bad customer service and their manager Michael is the worse. Total disrespect. Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The only numbers available is for their main customer service line, which no one is on the same page with product availability or delivery. I got 6 different delivery dates all in a 3 week period, took off work twice for a delivery that Poughkeepsie store said would come to find out that I was never even in the system for delivery that day! A manager told me for my “patience” they would take the delivery charge off my Bill well guess what first bill arrived today and nothing has been credited!! Never ever shop this store- go to a competitor!!

He was friendly, informative, honest, completely accommodating to our needs. He got us exactly what we wanted, faster then I could have ever imagined. My husband and 2 girls came to Ashley looking for a new sofa set. When we walked in we were politely greeted by Giovanni. He gave us some space and checked in with us which we appreciated very much. When we were ready he showed us around to a few sets offering water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate to us and my girls. Giovanni was very helpful and informative. He knew his product and answered all of our questions. After my husband and I decided on what we wanted we went back and yet again Giovanni did not disappoint. With some assistance from Amanda we left with smiling faces and happily anticipate the arrival of our new furniture. Giovanni was an awesome help in finding some new pieces to warm up my new apartment… He was extremely friendly and warm with a great eye for decor. Everybody there was extremely nice and the process was easy and quick! I will definitely be coming back and hopefully Giovanni will be there to help me pick out pieces for my next project!

Forced to sign fraudulent statements about the condition of the items and told not to worry about it if they have any problems. (didn't sign, won't release items) I was Told they can't refund the purchase until the talk to the main finance department that was closed, even me having paid in full on my credit card. Expected me to leave, with no refund, no item and no documentation of a credit or pending refund.
I went to Ashley furniture store with my mother and son and Bill welcome us with coffee and hot chocolate.. He is very helpful great sense of humor and never rushes you he takes his time and very helpful. He made our visit a great experience and wouldn’t mind going back there :)
On Friday, December 4, I accompanied my mother-in-law, to the Ashley Home Store in Poughkeepsie, NY. My in-laws had recently relocated from Virginia. Upon entering, (after being ignored by two sales people), one salesperson was gracious enough to help us. I immediately explained the importance of shopping based on availability because my parents did not have any furniture and it was very important for them to have furniture to settle in with as soon as possible. Our hope was to make this new home as comfortable as possible for my father-in-law who has dementia. We purchased two recliners (one on clearance) a floor lamp, one sofa bed, a lamp (that we also bought clearance) a fireplace insert with entertainment center, a counter height dining room set, two Chest of drawers and nightstand. We were very pleased with the service. Most of the furniture was scheduled to be delivered the next Thursday with the remainder of the furniture to be delivered by the end of December. The next Thursday arrived, and the only items on the truck were the recliner and nightstand. A dining room set was delivered and was the wrong one so it went back. I dropped what I was doing and went to the store and met with the store manager. He gave me correct dates for the remainder of the furniture and assured us that the dining room set would be delivered within a few days. The dining room set was delivered but the table was chipped. Then the warehouse called to give us revised dates for the remaining furniture which spans into the month of February! Since then, all of the delivery dates have changed four times, the repair appointment for the table has been rescheduled several times, more furniture was delivered damaged and all attempts to speak to the store manager, our original sales person or Customer Care has been non productive (at one point, after getting through to the store on the phone, an associate named Veronica answered the phone, realized I called to complain, put the phone down, not on hold, muttered “I don’t need this” and walked away from the phone!) This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. They simply don’t care. I will NEVER deal with Ashley again! Covid-19 withstanding, this transaction has been completely unprofessional, disappointing and has breached the fundamentals of ethical sales transactions. Had the company been upfront with us, then we could’ve made a decision to either make other furniture choices or patronize another furniture store. Now, we are stuck waiting months for furniture. Our parents home is in disarray and all because we trusted Ashley. Never again. I hate to publicly complain about a local business but I tried to rectify this personally and the situation just became worst. As I said earlier, never again! Lisa Wansley Pawling, NY

To my surprise I met Bill who introduced himself, he hung back far enough to be of assistance, but not be a nuisance. Waited 2 months to get a refund on a sale where things were not priced correctly. Thank you to the manager Shawn for finally fixing this. 2 months of texting the sales person saying he would take care of it and never did. I had a terrible experience at another Ashleys and came here hoping that it would be better. I hope the furniture is worth the headache.

I went to Ashleys and was assisted by sales associate Andre. Although I intended to just see what they had to offer I purchased two bedroom sets from here. Andre was very helpful when i explained what my vision was. He was very knowledgeable of what was on the showroom floor and what was online. He was patient and kind and much appreciated. Worked with Giovanni for at least 3 hours on a Saturday. Very helpful showing my wife and I around the store on multiple sectionals and couches. Ended up buying one sectional, a couch and a love seat. If you want to deal with a person with great humor and an awesome personality, I highly recommend Giovanni.

I had to report them to BBB in order to have parts of my furniture delivered...they delivered the wrong bedroom set and now I'm stuck with a bedroom set that I did not ordered...I paid for my furniture since September 2020 and I'm still waiting for the last of my order...we spent over $10,000 here and we have the wrong bedroom set and wait for my dining room chairs and dining room armoire...NEVER will order anything from them again...

He was not pushy and was very knowledgeable not only about the pricing but also about the materials and construction of the furniture. We had what we desired within our budget thanks to Tito. He made the entire shopping experience a smooth and non stressful event. The topper was when we paid he told us the furniture would be delivered within 4 days.

My fiance and I went in to look for a mattress. We had no idea what we were doing, what kind we were looking for and how to let alone pick a mattress that suit both of us. Tito is the one who helped us, he was absolutely amazing, very friendly, personable and professional. We told him what we were looking for in a bed and that our likes were very different. He showed us this bed/machine that showed us what kind of was going on and are sleeping pattern. We laughed an amazement because the machine and Tito were right on point. In the end we ended up taking home a TempurPedic eight degrees cooler king size bed along with the remote control that brings your bed up and down. We absolutely love it! PSA don’t shop here! Customer service is horrible, if you can even get through to anyone. They are very deceiving and will do anything to keep a sale. We ordered couches on 12/1 with a delivery date of 12/23. Long story short we had to cancel because they kept pushing the date out (all the way to February). They also charged our card before delivering the product which 1- we were told would not happen and 2- it is not legal to charge before service is rendered. I was skeptical but we ended up going to Bobs next door and found a very similar couch and it’s scheduled to come next week.
Went with my wife looking for a new sofa and chair. We were greeted by Bill. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and was willing to spend as much time with us as we required. He explained the differences in how their furniture is made as compared to other brands. He really made our experience great. The showroom is clean and sanitized and everyone wears masks. Made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Ashley furniture and Bill.

We are return customers to Ashley’s on South Road because of the exceptional service. Yesterday and today we worked with Tito to replace our old bedroom furniture. Tito was very friendly, honest and not pushy. Tito definitely had our best interest in mind and wanted to see us make a knowledgeable decision on our furniture. The bedroom set we loved and started to pursue the purchasing process actually wasn’t compatible with our current adjustable base we have. Tito went out of his way and looked into our previous purchase from Ashley’s to see exactly what base we had before he started the process and actually brought that information to our attention. If it wasn’t for his diligent work we could have had a huge headache on our hands. In the long run, we were able to make a purchase that was compatible with our bed. Thank you, Tito for making this process exceptionally easy!
Giovanni helped us to make sure we found the sofa that worked for us. He allowed us to look around on our own but was available for any questions and when it came down to making sure the sofa would fit in our space, he was there to confirm the measurements from the store. We still haven't found the right one for us but he has been a huge help in the search of the couch we are looking for.
Although I wasn't greeted when I walked, nor was I approached as I surveyed the store, when Bill was done with the customer he was helping, he immediately gave me his undivided attention. The customer service I received today from Bill was old school top notch! Bill made every effort to accommodate me(not a complicated purchase) answer all my questions, and give me the best service possible. NOT WORTHY OF ANY STARS! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE EVER AGAIN! I am recently made a purchase and Ashley’s furniture for a brand new king mattress and a baseboard for my mattress. This was a Christmas present for myself and my husband. Unfortunately this purchase I made was my worst purchase ever and my last. I have purchased many of times with Ashley’s furniture. And I’ve never had a problem with my purchases. I was introduced to the sale rep Bill Smith and his supervisor Mike they both seem nice and sweet and honest I thought. But when it came down to the final sale Bill Smith and his supervisor Mike was trying to sell me something that I couldn’t afford. It was a purchase of $7000. I told them I couldn’t afford that and then they came around and lowered the price to about $5000. When I saw the second prize I said that’s better so I signed and agreed for this purchase of $5000. I should’ve gotten the hint and not signed anything and said forget about the deal. But I didn’t and I trusted the sales rep Bill and Mike thinking that they were going to do right by me. They didn’t. First the price and than came the delivery of my bed. My mattress arrived but then the baseboard was incorrect so I had to return it and then it was re-delivered again and it was incorrect again the same type of baseboard You’re gonna have to return it again. I had to wait to the third delivery to get the correct baseboard. Throughout all these deliveries in my wildest dreams did I everything that I will be sleeping on the floor during the holidays. Neither my husband nor myself needed to endure this humiliation for a week. Now came the price again. So today I decided to go into my account to see when was my first payment due. When I say my balance my price was incorrect of my purchase. I agree to one price and the increased it to another. I went over to Ashley’s to try to fix the situation and to correct the price. But the sales rep was just showing me or telling me what he thought he sold me. Yes I did sign some papers and I signed for the correct amount I agreed in. But nothing was fixed. Only arguing back-and-forth and who was right or who was wrong or what was signed. I advise you all as Consumers to make sure what’s your final prices before you walk out that door. Because what was said to me was incorrect now I have to pay for it. I sincerely have to say this is been the WORST EXPERIENCE in my life when it comes to purchasing an item from my house. - I will absolutely never ever recommend Bill Smith & Mike the sales rep & Ashley’s furniture to anybody. - I will never shop there Ever again. This has been the worst experience in my life and Ashley nor the sales rep did anything for me and my husband to amend this situation of ours. Not even a sincere apology. Because of this makes me think that they’re only out for the money or the commission as sales reps do. I recommend to shop somewhere else like Raymour and Flanigan or Bob’s furniture. Weeks later after my purchase with Ashley’s furniture. I decided to shop at Bob’s furniture. I needed to Shop for another mattress. Because of the negligence of my delivery by Ashley furniture I went to Bob’s furniture. And now because of there increases in there prices without justification and Not rectify the problem of correcting the price from here on I will shop at Bob’s or Raymour and Flanigan. This was the icing on the cake for me. I don’t like to be misled would lied to. Shopping at Bob’s furniture was the best thing I ever did. And honestly was simple and straightforward forward. They told me the price I agree with the price I signed after the price and that was it I was happy customer. When it came to my delivery of my mattress they told me when and where and it was done. No problems and no disappointments. 5 Stars for Bobs furniture.

I’ll start by saying my girlfriend and I had visited 5 other furniture outlets prior to coming into Ashley’s and right from the start the service we received was nothing short of amazing. The manager Sean and salesman Bill were fantastic. They helped us find a gorgeous dining room set that was above our expectations. Sean was extremely busy and still took time in the beginning to help us. Bill was great he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, was very informal, personable and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend shopping at this facility on route 9 in Poughkeepsie NY or at the very least just stop in and check them out! Will definitely be back in the future to give them more business. I had the pleasure of visiting Ashley Homestore (1895 South Rd) with every intention to browse ONLY. I had furniture/home furnishing needs. As most NYC shoppers, we shop guarded. However, as soon as I walked into the front entrance, Giovanni warmly greeted me and was at full attention to my needs. He asked qualitative questions and led me to every piece of furniture on premise to wisely consider. He was extremely patient and most importantly - knowledgeable of Ashley's product offering. While considering my top 3 TV stand selections, I noticed a variety of love seats that would work for a den concept I've been toying/contemplating. Giovanni introduces me to Tito, Ashley's sofa specialist. He walked me to various options as well. I had two specialists walk with me throughout the store and ensure I knew details on all offerings. I left purchasing and was grateful to have worked with Giovanni and Tito. The service was outstanding enough, I returned the following day for additional purchases. I met with Giovanni again and had the pleasure of also working with Brian. Both provided TOP NOTCH service. It was pleasant, educational and most importantly personable. Adam. The *untrustworthy advisor* Adam. The staff at Ashley Homestore. Horrible. Let me start off with that Adam makes his money off of commission. The more a customer spends, the more he makes. Adam took advantage of my 70 year old mother in law. Adam literally told her the bed frame comes with the mattress, & that he'd throw in A mattress cover & 4 memory foam pillows all Inclusive with her purchase. Adam said, "You'll only have to pay for delivery" . She was so excited and thanked Adam repeatedly and he stood there and smiled at her. Come to find out, Adam charged her for all of it. Insanely expensive. She was charged $9,000! Adam lied to her face because she's elderly. I took her back and the store actually backed backed Adam and said "Adam is new, Adam doesn't know any better". I'm 1000% sure a young guy like Adam knows when he's taking advantage of elderly people. Ashely Homestore management knows too. When training employees, I highly suggest everyone there, including management and especially ADAM learns what integrity means. Lying to get money from people is dead wrong. I will never make a purchase with them again, regardless of the credit line I have with them.

This place was a very safe place to shop. Everyone wore masks & kept social distancing. There were hand sanitizers everywhere. Giovanni was our sales associate. He was extremely helpful & most of all genuinely nice. He went out of his way along with his manager, Amanda , to help us. We were looking for a very specific type of recliner for our son & they found it for us. We purchased it & are very happy. We will go back in the future.

I was looking for a couch sectional, Giovanni was the salesman that greeted me, he was very nice and helpful. Giovanni helped me find the right sectional and with pet friendly fabric, He was very knowledgeable about the different fabrics. I was just looking that day. I had seen a sectional there, perfect, loved it, but wanted to think about it. I That day I visited multi furniture stores near by. I ended back at Ashley a few days later and purchased that sectional. Everything went smoothly and excited to receive my new couch. UPDATE: I ended up canceling my couch on February 16, 2 months after my purchase. however they never canceled. I was fed up with the delay and the different dates it was coming, after awhile I did not believe a thing they said to me. A week or 2 after February 16th I find out it was never canceled. I drove back to cancel the couch again. Now I was waiting for my money to be refunded. My experience was so frustrating, don’t recommend this store and exactly 3 months to the day, I got a check. No sectional couch.

They allowed us to pick out what we liked and worked within our budget. We were able to purchase everything we needed. They are friendly and courteous from beginning to end. Do NOT buy ANYTHING from this store or any other Ashley store for that matter. I bought a 4,000 sectional with an extra 550 on the platinum ultra premium plan warranty. The arm on the chase lounge is basically down to wood. Its complete trash in less than 18 months. NOTHING is covered. Its a farce. Avoid this place or at the very least NEVER pay the extra for a warranty. You have been warned.

I have a two part review because my purchase was delivered in two parts. My initial experience with the sales person was good. Chelea’s knowledge of the products made my experience with her worth the wait. I’ve been contemplating buying furniture for awhile and she went above and beyond to help me. I am so satisfied with my purchase. As for my first delivery the drivers were rude and showed up early. Then they tried to leave without delivering my furniture. But luckily I was able to catch them before they left. As for the second part of my delivery this is where Chelsea’s customer service really kicked in. She instructed to call the 1800 # which I did. The first call was an hour and the representative hung up on me and the second call another hour to accomplish nothing. Chelsea did follow up with a text and phone call to see how I was getting through and when I complained about how annoyed I was a getting nowhere she tried her best to help. How did a good sales experience turn out to be so aggravating!! Never again Ashley!!! Y’all got me this time but I will NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOUR STORE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. So now I have to play the waiting game wait to see if I’m going to receive my loveseat that was supposed to come on the day it was promised. But Of course it isn’t coming it was pushed back so now I have to rearrange my plans. Ugh frustration at it’s finest!!! I’ll edit my review when my second delivery arrives. Annoyed customer!!! Ok so my second delivery was absolutely amazing! The delivery guys were kind, arrived on time and did not rush the delivery. They made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase before they left. Honestly I probably won’t do business with this Ashley Furniture Store anymore. Although Chelsea was nice and knowledgeable and she tried to help as much as she could buying furniture and moving is stressful In itself you shouldn’t have to deal with any extra bs when it comes to the delivery and the quality of service you receive.

Went to Ashley today to purchase a TV Stand Bill greet me at the door...showed me all the TV Stands available within my price range Showed him the ones I found on Ashley website he had me text him the one I wanted made sure the price was the same as the website and took care of all my furniture needs. So I have been in the process of moving for a week now. I was shopping online for a new bed and so much has been on my plate that I totally forgot to order the foundation for my bed! I instantly went on the Ashley’s website to compare some of the ones offered. When I saw “5 to 6 weeks” for delivery my heart dropped. I know do to Covid things have been delayed but sheesh! I then decided to do an online chat to see if I can inquire about in-store inventory and possible pick up options. I got connection with Chelsea McClennon who was great at giving me options to choose from. She asked if I can provide my number to better assist with delivery options and product inventory. Unfortunately I didn’t get the call due to her having issues connecting and I knew this because she called me the very next day to check if I was able to make my purchase or still needed assistance. This is what you call superb customer service! I didn’t think she would go out of her way to call me back after the chat was disconnected but she did and I am grateful because not only did she get what I needed but my delivery is coming faster than expected. We have been looking for a Long while for a table. Went to many places here and there. Today we decided to take a peak after breakfast at the diner. Tito was amazing and SUPER helpful. He approached us while looking at a table, helped us with that table but listened to what we really wanted and brought us to a table that we didn’t even notice. He truly listened to what we were wanting and lead us in the right direction. We have other Ashley pieces but Tito “sold” us on the what we were actually looking for not just a product. As soon as I walked in, my father and I were greeted by a kind gentleman by the name of Bill who did not waste any time making us feel comfortable and offering assistance. I came in search of a sectional and I was brought around the whole store just to come across the perfect Altari sectional. Bill was there every step of the way and even kept in constant communication after. Definitely ask for Bill if you find yourself in the store!
I have been interested in getting a drop leaf kitchen table for my teeny tiny kitchen and finally found several sets online at ashley but had some questions about delivery and assembly. When I clicked online to chat with a sales associate, I was fortunate enough to get Chelsea. She was quick to see that online shopping wasn't my forte and offered to call me on the phone. Chelsea was warm, personable and very professional. She answered all my questions, was patient when I got off track and soon I had my set and the delivery with assembly all set up. Chelsea is a terrific representative for your business and provided a pleasant shopping experience for me. If I need any furniture in the future I will definitely call on Ashley and Chelsea.

I found a sectional piece I loved online. I wasn't sure if it would fit. I was put in touch with Chelsea M. at a store in NY who went to the showroom floor and took personal measurements for me! She actually rearranged the furniture into different setups and took more measurements and sent me pictures of it directly. I couldn't believe how helpful she was, it was the best experience with furniture sales I've ever had!
I found a couch online I really liked but unfortunately it was not in any store for me to see. Chelsea was the sales associate that called me to help me figure out what I should do and I ended up purchasing the couch. She was super friendly and not at all pushy which was really nice and gave me time to think about the purchase before making it. She made the process easy and provided all her contact information to keep in touch before the delivery date.

A place where you can go and find great furniture for your home, but a place that is seriously lacking in Genuine Friendly Customer Service. Myself and my wife were visiting Ashley's Home store a few weeks ago, and at first we were being attended to by a Manager who was assisting us with looking over some orthopedic beds for nearly 20 minutes. However, this same manager later asked one of his sales team members to finish helping me and my wife out, and lo and behold, 5 minutes into this sales rep helping us out, she took a personal phone call on her cell phone that lasted for more than 10 minutes until me and my wife both walked out.

I was warn years ago about Ashley’ furniture but I decided to give it a try since it was years ago but my friend was right!! My furniture never showed up on the delivery date!!! I never received a called or email and I’ve been trying to call them to find out what happened but the call keeps failing. I will NEVER purchase anything from this store again. I will also make sure that my family and friends know NOT to order from Ashley’s. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!😡

My husband and I were looking for a new bedroom set including a new bed, mattress, dress, chest and night stands. After a disappointing experience at a store in Middletown, NY we decided to try Ashley's in Poughkeepsie. Our experience there was worth bragging about. We had the great pleasure of working with Sheronica and Brian. Sheronica was the mattress expert and Brian was the sales associate on the floor working on furniture sales. Because we needed all, they worked together. I will say that both of them were experts at their jobs, professional, friendly and so enjoyable to work with. The majority of our furniture arrived today and is just as beautiful as we had hoped it would be. We have a few items the still need to be delivered but I have great confidence that because we are working with Brian and Sheronica we have nothing to worry about..and everything will come in as planned and they will be all over it! Would love to work with them again in the future when we are in the market for more furniture.

I went to the store to shop for furniture for my son’s apartment. The name of the sales associate that assist me with the purchase was Bill. He was very accommodating, patient, making sure to suggest the products in my list, within the price range I could afford. Got all the info, sit with me and explain my options of protection plans, without being pushy at all. And in my particular case, definitely I thought a protection plan was a must. I went to Ashley's to buy a new couch for my living room. My salesman was Brian Squillace. He never came across as the usual pushy salesman. Instead, he really made me feel comfortable giving me and my wife the advise and patience needed to find the perfect couch for our family. Going forward I know where and whom to go to for future furniture shopping.
We visited the store after visiting many stores in the area. The overall experience and customer services was outstanding, were so lucky to have Justin Reyes as our Trusted Advisor. He took his time to show us all the options available both in the store and the outlet. He give us prices and made arrangements for us to get what exactly we were looking for. We ended up buying a beautiful bedroom set.
My fiancé and I came into the showroom in hopes of finding a new bed frame and sofa. There was a frame that we were interested in but unfortunately it was discontinued. Brian came to our rescue and helped us not only find a new bed frame, but a sofa and new desk as well. He took his time with us even when we couldn’t decide on which frame we wanted or sofa color. We never felt rushed or pushed to get something we didn’t like. Hands down I would come back to the store for any furniture needs as long as Brian helps me.

Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The only numbers available is for their main customer service line, which no one is on the same page with product availability or delivery. I have been hung up on and never called back when I requested to “keep my place in line”. Furthermore, I cannot actually get in contact with the store that I bought my product from, and when I requested to speak to a manager through customer service I was given an email to submit any complaints. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN AND I WILL RECOMMEND OTHERS SHOP ELSEWHERE!
High pressure sales.. impossible to just look around. Prices posted are a suggested retail, you won't know the actual price till you sign. Discounts to open a store charge card, why not offer to everyone???

My husband and I were looking to upgrade our couch to a larger sectional we visited a few stores before going to Ashley’s. Tim showed us around the store and answered all our questions until we found the perfect couch! Our dimensions were tricky with getting the perfect fit for our house, but with the help of Tim and Chelsea we were able to get the couch we loved! They were amazing to work with so kind, helpful, and patient as we made decisions. We will absolutely go back I’m thinking new bedroom furniture is up next and I can’t wait to have Tim help us again!

We bought furniture on August 13, 2020, we were assured that we would have our furniture the first weekend of Sept., not so much, that weekend came and went, we tried calling the store, at least a 30 minute wait every time we called, finally got ahold of someone, he said he would check on it and call us back, no call back, so we go to the store, they assure us we would have our furniture by October 3rd, a month later than promised, finally comes but no ottoman for the couch, we drive back over and they tell us it's going to be at least another month for the ottoman, ok how about give us the floor model, which was responded with we don't have one, I walk over to where they are and low and behold they have it, but they can't give it to us without a managers approval, which just happens to be off and not available, they were rude and didn't care, finally I ended up asking for my money back and went somewhere else for the same ottoman for less. Buyer beware, I would rather sit on the floor than deal with these people again

Adam was great to work with. He wasn't pushy at all, which I appreciate in a salesman, but he listened to what my husband and I were looking for and found a great sofa for our family. He offered us drinks as we were looking and made sure we were comfortable while he was writing everything up. He also showed us a beautiful coffee table that went perfectly with he sofa we bought. We went in for just a couch but left with a beautiful living room set at a great price. Highly recommend.

I’ve been shopping this store for about 2 years, always a pleasant visit. James the Store Manager is extremely attentive to all the customers entering and needing support in the store, he’ll do his very best to get you the best possible deals. Purchased my first tempurpedic mattress today with Adam, Adam was super friendly and knew all about the different mattresses and what comfort levels would best fit my sleeping patterns. He had me lay on a bed in which the store uses, Which incorporates Technology in it to analyze your weight and sleeping habits. I look forward to better sleep at night now. I will be returning back to this store for more furniture this fall, Adam will be my go to guy from now on. Thanks guys

They both have been an absolute pleasure to work with! Chelsea and Mike are extremely helpful in finding pieces that are comfortable and functional, but still fit my design. I am a mother to two soon to be three. My fiancé and I decided to get a bigger size couch. We were recommended by a friend to go to Ashleys furniture. We took his advice and found the one! We went to Ashley’s after closing on the purchase of a new home and were lucky enough to work with Chelsea, who helped us make our perfect living room come to life! She was super helpful and gave us some great ideas for furnishing our new place! She was also very attentive to our needs without overbearing us with the need to push a sale. If you plan on coming to this location, I highly recommend asking if she’s around! The only reason my review isn’t 5 star is because we did have to wait a few weeks for our furniture to come in, but it is worth the wait when it is exactly what you want!!

My wife and I have been struggling to find a nice bedroom set for a guest bedroom and we found obstacle upon obstacle with furniture stores having delivery dates that went into October. Today we worked with a very pleasant and professional Trusted advisor at the Poughkeepsie store on route 9. Chelsea McClennon, Chelsea was extremely patient and work hard to get us a great deal on a beautiful bedroom set. Thank you so much Chelsea I am sure you will see us again!
Chelsea took the time to show us what is available. We were looking at multiple items and also getting ideas for the future. She gave us time and space to browse but was available for questions that arose. She’s a pleasant and knowledgeable person to work with.
TL;DR - Selection of furniture is great and the initial customer service experience is pleasant. However, much of it was "overpromising and underdelivering." Delivery service experience was unsatisfactory. Visited the store in the last week of June, and had an initially pleasant experience with one of the floor agents. The agent did a good job of helping me find a couch that fit the specifications that I had asked for, within an appropriate price range. The selection of furniture at the store was top notch, especially with the "outlet" attachment. No issues at all at this point. However, many things the agent had told me later turned out to be inaccurate. In conversation, the agent assured me that the delivery of couch would only a couple of weeks, even though on the actual order form the delivery date was written for July 31st (more than one month). The agent informed me that Ashley had recently conducted a system update which caused disruptions in the scheduling system, but that the delivery should still occur within a couple of weeks. This was not the case - I received no contact from Ashley's delivery team until July 28th. The agent also told me to text him on his cell about a separate furniture question, and assured me he would get back to me as soon as possible. One month and many texts later, I am no closer to getting the answer to this question. Additionally, the agent had pitched that the delivery service would be convenient, and that it would occur at a timeframe of my choosing. Perhaps I misinterprete, but this was far from the actual case. Ashley furniture sent me an email 3 days out from the delivery, and essentially mandated that by confirming my availability, I was agreeing to have someone at my residence to pick up the order at the time they would give me. They didn't tell me my actual 4 hour delivery window until the day prior, and I was not given any options to change the timeframe without paying delivery penalty. I agreed to the given window of 9:45 am to 1:45 pm, and correspondingly adjusted my schedule. The morning of the delivery, I was having breakfast with a friend when at 9am and I saw a voicemail from Ashley furniture telling me that the delivery team was already outside, and that if I didn't let them in within 15 minutes I would have to pay the penalty and reschedule. I had planned my breakfast to end in time for me to be home by 9:20am (25 minutes earlier than the given window ) in order to receive this order. Customer service called me again at 9:10 to say that if I didn't accept the order within 2 minutes, I would have to reschedule. Appalled, I noted that my delivery window was supposed to have started at 9:45am, and how it was that Ashley can fault me for not being present outside of the agreed upon time. The customer service rep on the phone checked my claims and agreed that I was not at fault, and instructed the delivery team to return to my residence at 9:45am. This was fine, but I was upset that I would be threatened to be charged a delivery penalty for doing nothing wrong. The delivery team failed to bring the correct legs for the ottoman portion of my couch, and instead used "improvised legs" for install. They literally just screwed into the side of these wooden legs without any pilot holes, and chipped some of the surrounding wood in the process. Even worse, a couple of the feet were not screwed on securely, and they spin and rotate out of position. The team did not mention anything about the mis fitting legs until I directly asked them about it, and after one or two attempts at trying to dodge the subject, they finally acknowledged that the "improvised legs" and that I had the option to file a claim to have the actual legs delivered and installed. After paying $120+ for the delivery charge, I think the customer deserves better. Customer service line took almost 1.5 hours to resolve. Bottom line: great product line, but disappointing service. Anything that sounds too good is probably not true. Anything that could possibly go wrong, probably will. Would not recommend again.
Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a furniture store. They delivered the wrong items almost a month after they were bought in person. My husband and I have both been talking to representatives via the phone, online chat and email every single day for over a week. We have yet to speak to a single person who can help us return these and get a refund. We've clearly stated we don't want to wait another month for the correct replacements and yet they keep calling to schedule the delivery of the new ones. We just want to return unopened stools and get a refund. Apparently this is impossible. DO NOT BUY furniture from them unless you want to pay for and keep whatever they decide to send to you.

Adam Brandes was a complete pleasure throughout my whole process. It’s a very new learning experience for me considering I’m starting my adult life. I spent $5000 on a outdoor living and dining room set. 8 months after the purchase, the furniture is literally falling apart. The frames are cracking, the finish is peeling off. Multiple attempts to resolve this issue have failed with the awful customer service that Ashley Furniture offers. Anyone who thinks ashley has a good product should seriously reconsider. If you have an issue like I do, you'll be guaranteed a run around. I now have furniture that I can't use out of fear someone will get hurt. The quality of the furniture and customer service is deplorable. I will post photos of the junk I bought from Ashley as soon as I can upload them. Please be careful with what you buy from Ashley and be prepared for a run around when you have issues

Recently went to ashley furniture in Poughkeepsie to buy a new mattress. I paid for the mattress and got home only to see ashley furniture had charged my card for the mattress AND an additional $1800 charge which I did not buy anything for. Attempted to call the store to have them take off the $1800 charge and was directed to their automated system. After waiting on hold for 2 hours, someone picked up only to HANG UP on me. I have been trying for almost a week now to reach anyone in customer service to fix their $1800 mistake. I used to recommend ashley furniture in the past but NEVER again. They have the worst customer service, I would be surprised if I ever see this fixed.

Gerson and Mark have been the most helpful! Very accommodating and have made buying furniture a joyful experience. Gerson helped find the perfect couch and adjustable base. My experience at the Poughkeepsie location was amazing. Mr. Young was our dedicated Advisor, he was professional and courteous. Mr.Young took ownership of the interaction, he engaged all whom were present with me and made us extremely comfortable, he listened to what our needs are and executed on our vision. There so many Furniture stores with similar products, what differentiate Ashely from the other is the quality services their employees provide and of course quality products.

He made my Ashley experience, in buying a very essential piece of Living Room furniture seamless and stress free. I should also include my super positive experiences with Michael and Colin. I will never shop Ashley furniture again!!!! I purchased a couch less than two weeks ago and the wood inside completely shattered. LEGIT SPLINTERS!!!!! I was told they would order a part, apparently a magical one that fixes completely cracked and splintered wood, and that it could take WEEKS to arrive. Weeks?!????? When I asked to speak to someone higher up I was told they weren’t available and they would contact me within 48 hours!!! Cue the crickets!!!! Unacceptable!!! In the meantime my family has no where to sit!!! I even tried to email the CEO or another person who runs the company and was told their business emails cannot be shared with me. Who runs a business like this? This is appalling and I hope this makes others aware to NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture.
As we shopped for our new home and shared the news with the staff, we were surprised to leave and a get an armful of gifts for our new home! Thank you Ashley’s! You left us speechless!

My wife and I went in looking for a new living room set. We started to speak to a sales rep named Rodney B. We explained what we like and dislike. Rodney showed us several options that fit our expectations. He was kind enough to make us coffee & stayed past closing to make sure we were taken care of.
Why don't the employees listen? Almost 10 times, we mentioned we didn't want a recliner. We don't care that your mechanics are made of steel, we do not want recliners. If a customer is clearly turned off by your service, leave them alone. When you walk into a clothing store, nobody is bombarded by an employee, literally following them around the store. Rodney, please get your shit together and LISTEN to your customers. Edit: Why would we want to talk to the manager?? We were basically running out of the store. I really love how hours later, you managed to connect me and my dad, and bombard him with an email. At one point, Rodney went to get another employee to talk to us about the microfiber cloth, but she didn't know much of anything either. Once we walked away, all the way to the outlet side of the store, RODNEY FOLLOWED US and says "sorry for that really long cat story," because the employee he brought over was talking about her cats. Just casually talking shit about a fellow employee. Like, dude, we would rather listen to her for ten hours instead of having to deal with RODNEY. He then proceeds to hang around the area we're in, and then starts carrying over ottomans for us to try out. Yes, ottomans, more than one, just to prove that they come in different colors, when we have already been told MILLIONS OF TIMES that they do indeed come in different colors. I think your best bet, manager dude, is to just get rid of Rodney and you'll make a sale next time. :) Tell him we say 'thank you' for showing us everything we didn't ask for. Also, Raymour and Flanigan's recliners are made out of steel too, you guys aren't special.
Ashley’s was a great experience for my fiancé and I. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other home shopping stores. One of the sales representatives, Karen was there for us every step of the way with out purchases. From colors to decor to pricing, she did a great job at helping us find what we needed and what was in our best interest. We love our new place and our furniture to go with it to help make it a home.

My mom and I came in to Ashley yesterday to buy a chair for a family member. We were instantly greeted by Jhwill who asked us what we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable in the features of the electric chairs that we were interested in and took the time to research some of the more detailed inquires that we had. He made us feel at ease and very comfortable and reassured in our purchase. He also helped us decide if we should go with the protection plan, which definitely will be worth the extra money in the future. Went to make a purchase at Ashley HomeStore in Poughkeepsie but I got there 10 minutes after closing. After I tried the doors I started yo walk away. S young lady in the store saw me and asked her manager if she could go get me and try to help. Not only did she listen to my story of bring in the store earlier about a potential purchase, she tracked down the price of one piece that wasn’t coming up online. Staying late she wrote up the order and then waited there while I ran home to verify that the size of one of the pieces would fit for me. This young sales person went way out of her way and past the end of her work day, not just to make the sale but to insure the customer was happy. Great effort with a great personality. We just moved to the area September 2018. Now that we settled in we bought a nice new big sectional. The furniture is great BUT when they delivered the piece they hit and knocked the lamp post out of the ground then knocked off the solar light cap on my front banister and never said a word about either. As we contacted Ashley they told us to send pictures, which we did. They in turn asked for "better" pictures showing tire marks....meanwhile I have the whole thing on camera where the post was up when they first pulled in then on it's side after they backed up. They then asked for an estimate of the work and are now asking for more details about the work and the make and model of the lamp post that we did not have installed. Mind you this has been over a month now and every time we send them what they ask for they take multiple weeks to get back to us. I'm livid!! Horrible business
I placed an online order recently for a bedroom set. I received the bed room set and went to assemble it only to find out it did not come with any hardware. I called customer service and they were not helpful at all! They told me they’d have to charge me for shipping to send more hardware and that it would take 14 business days to send out! I said that wouldn’t be acceptable as I have pieces of a headboard and footboard cluttering up my room. They told me it would be $22.99 for 7-10 business day shipping and if I wanted it fast they would charge me $69.99 to get it here within 3 business days! This is absolutly ridiculous! I’ll never order from here again! I now have to improvise and figure a way out to set it up without hardware

We bought a dinning room table set from this store almost a month ago. Our sales person seemed all over the place and too eager to make the sale. I get it, they are commissioned based paid. Still, we liked a set that was on display. There were option of color, height, and a bench. We wanted the counter height set with a bench. The sales person told us that it’s available. I checked prices online and the online store was cheaper. I asked why and was told that they do not offer the 6 month interest free financing online. It was in store only. We made the order and upon checkout I made it a point to make sure the bench was the correct one, since our sales person was scattered all over the sales floor. The guy at the register pulled up the order and said that it was the correct height bench. They weren’t able to get us a delivery date for 3 weeks to fit our availability, which is fine. The table and chairs showed up last week. They preassembled the chairs and bench. The bench for the set was the wrong one. We rejected 2 of the chairs. One had a manufacturing defect, the other was damaged and poorly repaired with what looked like a black marker. Not something I’d expect from a new set. I was told on the phone, while the delivery guys were there, that the replacements could be delivered that same day. No one came back. No one called. I called back the next day and was told that I shouldn’t have been told that the replacements would come the same day, since they were being delivered from NJ. I was told they need to be received into their system before a replacement could be sent. I was told someone would get back to me. No one called. We waited. My wife called 2 days later. She was told the bench at the height we paid for wasn’t even in production, yet. The bench was part of the set she liked the most. We asked what they were going to do about this poor sales experience. The best they could do was offer 2 chairs in exchange for the bench. Why would they sell us a bench that didn’t exist? We told them to come pick the set up for a return. Our order was incomplete and the fine print said we could get a 100% return. We were then told it would take 2 days to process the return. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying anything. To this moment, my wife and I are the ones calling them. No one has contacted us from the store giving us updates trying to fix their mistakes. On top of all that, the online store did have the 6 month interest free financing. The sales person lied to make a sale. Avoid this store.
The sales person Mike was very polite respectful and professional at all times works with your price range. He's not like sales reps who push things on you that you don't need or want. I would recommend this store and please ask for Mike.

Ashley Home Store is a fun place to shop for furniture. It is mainly, I found, to cater to big, wide open houses. Of which we do not have..We were looking for an oval, average size coffee table...all we saw was large pieces, which were not to our decor.
Still no Help after 2 more weeks!! Managaer of Poughkeepsie store Marc said his supervisor said to call customer service again. I told him I was going to come back in and get his help calling them. He said why? There's nothing more I can do for you...Going in today to teyvagain for some help!!

Was told by their main office we would get a new one in two weeks. We went to the store to see what they can do. Come to find out the love seat is back ordered and a over month out. They could not say why I was lied to. I then said I want my money back but since I paid in cash I have to wait 2 weeks because they have to cut a check at their Edison NJ offices. Now my money is being held hostage for two weeks, being penalized for paying in cash. Customer service doesn’t care along with management. I will never walk through their doors ever again. I am now hoping I get my money back and do no have to take legal action.

My husband and I were looking for a mattress on Black Friday, so we stopped in to Ashley home store in Poughkeepsie. It was a little busy that day, but we knew what we were looking for. We try to get a sales person to help us, but no one showed up. About to walk out the store and we came across a great sale on a comforter for $25. My husband and I walked the comforter up to the front to get checked out and grab a couple snacks. Sales person asked if anyone was helping us I said no, so he said I'll check you out. He proceeded to say he needs my name , phone number and address in order to make the purchase. He needs to create a profile for the purchase, so I replied no you don't need that information. He insisted that I give him my information in order to make the purchase. I told the sales person I'm paying with cash there's no warranty or finance payment attached to this purchase. I told him I need to speak to a manager, he would know how to override that part of the transaction. The manager was rude by stating...what seems to be the problem and then quickly stating well this our policy. I told the manager I don't want to give that information out, since I have a private number . The manager just quickly states this is our policy if you don't wanna do that, then you wont be able to purchase the comforter. I need your name, address, phone number to put in our system to create a profile. I said OK then put in a fake name and number to bypass that prompt on your computer. The manager stares me down and says if you give me a fake name and number..... I WOULD NEED TO SEE YOUR ID . At this point I was shocked, aggravated and just disgusted by the whole way they handled everything. We walked out of the store ! I have a right not to be tracked or have my number out there, this should not be Ashley's Policy. Not only did we not buy the comforter or mattress, we will also....never walk in their store again!
We furnished our living room and bedroom at such an amazing price! We were greeted by Jhwil “Mr. Goodmood” Young and he certainly lives up to his nickname! He was so kind to us throughout the whole process, and he was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. He knew that store like the back of his hand! He helped us find the perfect couch, and mattress for our bed - which isn’t an easy feat because my boyfriend and I could barely agree on anything (lol). He was more than accommodating, easy to talk to, understanding, genuine, and SO relatable. I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else to furnish our home!! I’m so glad we ran into him! If you go to the Ashley Homestore in Poughkeepsie, I HIGHLY recommend asking for him! He knows what it is to be a salesman, but he also understands what it is to be on the other side of that which you don’t find often enough when furniture shopping. My partner and I went to Ashley HomeStore to buy a mattress. We had been to the other nearing furniture/mattress stores in the area but we couldn't settle on a bed and/or sale associates were knowledgeable about the products they were selling. We really fell in love with the Tempur-pedic at Ashley's but it was too expensive so we left, and actually ended up buying a bed from Mattress Firm across the street. The biggest plus to Ashley HomeStore was our sales associate, Ryan. He was so knowledgeable about sleeping positions, the beds in store, and gave our knowledge about what we should stay away from for our own safety. Even though, we didn't buy a mattress that day. I was so impressed with the way we were treated, we will be back.

I had an incredible experience with one of the sales people (Jhwil). This is my first time purchasing furniture, and although I didn't pull the trigger that day, I will definitely be back to purchase from him closer to our move-in date. Something I loved was that he actually asked me questions, and tried to figure out what option was going to be best for my family, lifestlye, and scheme. To be completely honest it was the exact opposite of what I expected of a sales person (I thought this experience was going to feel gross, and pushy.) Definitely recommending him to anyone who asks.

That is where I was introduced to a wonderful young man named Jhwil. He greeted my husband and I with such a positive and professional energy. It felt as if he was excited to help us find the perfect piece of furniture. His confidence ensured me that he was extremely knowledgable about every piece of furniture he showed us. What I can appreciate most is that he continued to follow up with us even after purchasing. Often times, sales associates stop communication once receiving a sale. Not Jhwil, after delivery he reached out to us to confirm we were content with our purchase. I have not stopped ranting and raving to my friends and family about the customer service Jhwil provided to us that day. I should have written this review much sooner. While visiting a friend in the Poughkeepsie we took a trip the Ashley's store. After browsing around I was greeted by a familiar voice, Jhwil! What a pleasant surprise that was! My wife and I went into the store just to compare prices. We walked out with a floor model bedroom set, a chest and great prices on mattress. The workers there were very warm and knowledgeable. They explained the different options we had. They showed us all the floor model possibilities. The manager came over and gave us huge discounts (I hope they were ACTUAL discounts :-]). Since they couldn't deliver the floor models, they gave us information for a reasonably priced shipper who delivered on time and left no scrapes and scratches on our walls. We thought they were good, until Ashley's own delivery guys showed up. They were an impressive team!! We are actually going back to check out other pieces of furniture. Who knows, we might just walk out with everything!

Do NOT buy from a woman named Ayda. She sold me a mattress pushing/saying "this is the one you want!" I have had nothing but back problems since I bought it. The manger was pretty helpful and we were able to find a bed that would work for me, but could not make an exchange happen. Essentially, I would have to buy a second mattress. Moral of the story, not shop for mattresses here. Go to some place that has a sleep trial.

We bought a Temperpedic mattress because my husband has issues with his knee, neck and back. Yes, we bought the recommended pillows and mattress protector. I hope that my husband feels more comfortable during sleep time and more refreshed upon waking up. We have slept on it 4 times. Sean, our salesperson, is genuine.

not a bad experience in the store.. bought about $2000 in furniture.. sales guy was nice... a day later, i wanted to check the dimensions prior to delivery so i went onto the website and saw that the online prices were significantly lower than the store prices... i spent the next week going back and forth trying to get them to credit me for the difference.. after a lot of calls (because nobody at the store EVER answers the phone) back and forth and a lot of time waiting on hold.. they finally gave me the credits... they weren't nasty or anything .. but i see that part of their business model is hoping you don't check online prices... I'd rather just go somewhere else - not worth the effort... if you do go to the store.. Make sure you check online prices...
Went there on Saturday, and had the expectation on leaving the store with a couch and loveseat. We were browsing around when a salesman approached us and they first question he asked was "How are you paying for the furniture?" We said that we wanted to finance them. He told us our only option was to apply for the Ashley credit card. We weren't really interested in the credit card and informed him that we were just looking today, he said he'd keep an eye on us... That's when things started to get a little creepy. We browsed around the store but ever so often we would turn around and there he was almost right behind us, just stari ng at us..... and we decided to run in to the other department (outlet department) to try to hide from him but when we turned around he was right there behind us... and then he said "just let me know when you're ready to apply for the credit card...." It was my first time in any one of the Ashley stores and let me to say it was probably one the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever encountered, and I'll probably never return to one of their stores again. The salesmen were pushy, inappropriate, and creepy..
Had the worst experience ever. Bought two leather couches. On delivery both had serious problems. Material tearing away from back on one. The other was missing two rivets and the stitching was pulling loose on one of the cushions. They wouldn't take them back, but insisted on sending out a repair person. Two weeks later, we're still waiting for parts so someone can come to our house and repair. Customer service doesn't pick up the phone. Horrible, horrible experience. Never again.

Our shopping for a complete living room set was accomplished today. We found just what we wanted at a price we were happy with. Our salesperson, Ayda, was knowledgeable, and presented the material involved in the sale very well, almost guaranteeing that we would be happy with the sale. We will undoubtedly return to the store again to purchase additional home furnishings.
DO NOT SHOP HERE. . . . EVER! We purchased a furniture set over a month ago which was damaged. The store reps were great in following up to ensure the sale went through, however since the delivery, there has been no consideration, or efforts to follow up to correct the situation. I have called 2-3 times a week to follow up, and every time I get an apology with reassurance that I will hear from customer service, regional manager, or someone by the next day, and the issue would be rectified. I have now heard this week after week, and still have not heard from anyone. I continue to follow up every few days with broken promises, and still zero resolution. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this store, especially the Poughkeepsie office. I am a loyal customer, and this is my first time ever writing a bad review for any store. I can not remember any other time that I have been treated with so much neglect and lack of follow ups to rectify a damage that was caused by the store's delivery.

In April I went to my local store and spent 7,000 in CASH on furniture, biggest mistake of my life. Delivery day not all my furniture came after i called, the store told me my tv stand would come later but my coffee table set would come a week later. Later that same day my tv stand arrived from a “non Ashley” delivery person who dragged the box across the floor and left it in my living room. I called the store asking about installation as I paid for delivery and for my items to be put together, I was told it was easy to put together myself but if I had an issue, to call back. Well needless to say we had an issue and called back. To date NO ONE has responded to our multiple requests to put this item together. So the day arrives for the coffee tables to come and guess what? They don’t. I call and I’m told oh they’re on back order until June (remember I said i purchased in April). I went to the store to try and swap the tables for ones in stock and found nothing. I was told I would be issues a REFUND and even though I paid in CASH I had to wait for them to send me a check. It is now almost JULY and I have still not been issued a refund. The store is blaming it on corporate and corporate is blaming it on the store. I want my money! I will never purchase another piece of trashy furniture from this company nor recommend anyone i know to shop here. The customer service is trash, the furniture quality is trash and not worth your money. Don’t spend a penny with this company they lie and deceive their customers and apparently hold refunds hostage. Who else can I get in touch with to help me? Ashley is a joke!

The worst furniture buying experience ever. I ordered $2500.00 worth of furniture over the phone with a salesman I met earlier. Not only did they get my order wrong but they then charged me for the omitted item and denied I had ordered it. They then ignored my calls, blamed me for the incorrect order, and refused to address the problem. It took hours to get ahold of a manager and it wasn't until I had to call the salesman from a different phone and put him on speaker when I finally got hold of the manager on my phone and trapped him in his lie. Good thing I screen shotted my order and had proof otherwise they would have ignored my issue. I called corporate to complain and they would not take my call and never called back. I will never shop here again. They are unprofessional and have no integrity.

First let me start by saying that I purchased a sofa just a mere year ago. Last night, Saturday, May 25th, 2019 I stopped into the Poughkeepsie NY store to purchase a mattress located at 1895 South Road, Poughkeepsie NY 12601 wherein not only did I pay for full for my mattress but while on the showroom floor not one time did a sales representative come over and ask if I needed any help. Upon walking around the store for almost an hour, I decided to go find a sales person at a nearby table where three different employees where seated, to where I asked "can someone help me?". A women named Ayda Arguetta reluctantly got up and proceeded to ask "what can I help you with?" I showed her which mattress I was interested in and she proceeded to go get her tablet to make that sale. That's all it was, in fact, I had a few questions that she seemed so not interested in helping answer at all, as if she could not be bothered, she just wanted to make the sale and continue back to the table of employees sitting around talking. Nevertheless, the sale was closed on and I paid that night in FULL on my credit card. I explained to Ayda that I would the next day with a truck to pick up the mattress and box spring. She said ok, and that she would have everything ready for me to pick up and that she would be in the store from 10 am to 10pm. After her pressing and persistent badgering of the fact that in order for Ashleys to honor the warranty of the mattress that I would need to purchase a mattress protector. I declined to purchase it from Ashleys at $75. 00 and said I would purchase it elsewhere that same night, which I did. The following day, on May 26, 2019 I called to obtain a uhaul truck to pickup the mattress to which was not available until after 2pm. In the meantime, I received two telephone calls from the store saying that the mattress was ready for pickup. I explained that I would pick up the mattress around 3 pm. When I arrived at the store around 3:10pm I waited for almost 30mins at the counter while the front desk lady called repeatedly on her head set asking someone to bring the mattress and box spring to the front to be loaded onto my uhual truck. After going back n forth with whoever was on the headset, another 15 minutes had passed and still no sign of the mattress or box spring. I decided to walk around the store to kill some time and began looking at bedroom sets. A man named Adam, a sales rep came over to me and asked me if I wanted the 5" or 9" inch box spring. I told him that I wanted the 9" inch. Ten minutes later he came over and found me and said that "there's actually no 9" inch box springs here at the moment". I was shocked because this was discussed with Ayda the night before who gave me her word that the order would be all set and ready for me to pick up and that someone would be available to help load it on the truck. Now not only was I still waiting for a mattress and annoyed that the box spring I was promised was not even in store/stock, I was running out of time for a uhaul that I rented for a hour n half assuming it wouldn't take that long to pick up two items. After being in the store for almost a hour now I had just 30 mins left to return my uhual and out came my mattress on a hand cart UNCNOVERED not wrapped in plastic or any sort of mattress bag. I asked the woman at the front desk, how can you sell a mattress uncovered but require me to buy a cover to get the warranty. As soon as the mattress is put on the back of the dirty uhaul UNCOVERED the warranty would then be no good, seeing as though the rental was filthy! I was beyond furious and impatient at this point. I asked if someone could get me a cover, some plastic or a mattress packing cover that comes with all mattress so that I can just get my product and leave. No one would answer the woman on her headset and she kept calling and asking for help. So after exchanging words and asking for a store manager, explaining how upset and unhappy I was about the whole ordeal I was still put off and jerked around. . being told that no manager was on site and that they were waiting for the operations manager to get the plastic. Finally a woman came to the front and asked me where I was parked and proceeded to help one African American man load the mattress on the dolly and load it onto my truck,then making a second trip into the store for the box spring. At this point I was super furious very upset and unsatisfied with the customer service at this location that I had removed myself from the store and continued to wait in the vehicle while leaving my fiancé to finish and oversee the transaction. When he came out to the truck and began to tie the mattress and box spring down, he told me that the store gave him $60 off the box spring for the inconvenience. A VERY small to price to pay considering the fact that they lost a customer and im going to share this experience with all family and friend and on every social media platform!
Went to Ashley furniture on route 9 Poughkeepsie and I had the most pleasant experience there. Adam helped me with getting exactly what I was looking for with no pressure and had great ideas. Would definitely go back.

Awful experience. The delivery people came.on Saturday (day before Easter) and couldn't get the furniture in. I had given the salesman the measurements of our door the day of the sale, and he said nothing about whether or not it would fit. In fact, he just said he'd "take care of it." Since Saturday, they've been jerking us around. I went into the store today to ask for a refund. I spoke to the manager and the operations manager. The operations manager refused to refund the delivery fee. I said to her "You never delivered the furniture!" She replied "your door was too small, that's not our problem." They suck. Don't go to this store. The sales people suck, and they're waiting at the door like vultures. James (our salesman) said he was taking care of everything when we called him the day of the delivery. He didn't take care of anything. All shady liars.
"Holy Butthole Batman!" What can I say about Ashley's other than I have very mixed feelings about my overall experience. I was looking for some dressers for the new apartment and while I could not purchase anything on my initial visit I did try to be thoughtful of the associate who helped us on our first visit asking for him on our subsequent visit. Only thing is when I asked for the original sales associate I felt indifferent like we were bothering the guy when we asked for him. I simply wanted to respect the time he spent with us on our first visit and have him earn his commission (which I completely assume that's how they make money). Creepy sales associate experience aside I'm happy with my furniture purchase. Sales associates follow nearby in case you have any questions. I never felt pressured to buy anything in particular but they were always within eyeshot in the event we had any questions. Delivery was a very smooth process, although I did get a lot of "confirmation" calls where I had to press "1" to confirm my delivery. I felt like Ashley's was hoping I didn't answer my phone so that IF they didn't show up they could blame me for not confirming delivery. So having me re-confirm several times after I already confirmed more than 3 times was annoying. The very best part of the experience was the delivery guys. Delivery guys were super nice and despite their hectic delivery schedule were very patient & really kind with my smoking hot girlfriend helping her place our furniture. LOL!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with Adam the salesman. We were both amazed by his level of professionalism. He is very polite, respectful and made us feel at home despite having our energetic kids with us. His guidance and patience allowed us to choose exactly what we needed for our budget! I just purchased a new dining room set from Raymor and Flanagan. Great quality, price and value. Unlike that crap that Ashley home center dishes out. Amazing how they could still be in business, I keep hearing from other customers in regards to their disappointment with their business model and quality.
After a fail at Bob's, I decided to walk next door to Ashley home store and since they honored the internet price, i was able to buy a twin size mattress and box spring for less than $300. The salesman was very professional and polite he offered me coffee and water. Nice clean store, very clean bathrooms. Good clearance sales!

I'm sorry for such a low score but I came in with my mom and unfortunately she is a bit too opinionated and can come across as very rude. She is visually impaired, legally blind and this all happened not long ago so bitterness is probably warranted I get it, but not on the poor sales team! However, this lady made my mom very upset because she felt as though she wasn't being heard, like she wanted to just sell my mom the more expensive ones. luckily a gentleman was also working and knew what my mom wanted and got it for her without making her feel embarrassed. Little do they know my mom has enough money to buy anything in that store but wasn't treated as such. I understand my mom's attitude wasn't very nice and for that I apologize but she's had a lot going on, that really shouldn't matter. Thank you, especially to the salesman from Nevada, you are very curtious!
I don't even want to give them one star. Bait and switch. Buyer beware!!!!!!! I ordered a mattress and box spring they delivered the wrong one and claim it is what I ordered that the sku numbers match up. I have no idea what sku numbers they use but this is not what I ordered. The mattress I ordered was 12 inches thick and was a pillow top the one delivered is only 5 inches thick. It is like an army cot at best. I am not even sure it is truly a Sealy so I will be contacting them next. No customer service, in fact I was hung up on twice, told not to call the store anymore and when I went in the manager told me there was nothing she could do. Customer "care" doesn't care and just keeps giving me the run around. Princess at customer care wouldn't give me a manager and hung up on me. They won't take it back, won't give me a credit, and won't talk to me leaving me with something I never ordered. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!!!

Gerson at the Poughkeepsie store was great to work with. Stayed nearby so that he could respond to any questions we had, but was not pushy. Very much appreciated all he did to help with our decision and purchase.
This has been a very aggravating experience I bought a master bedroom set believing it to be of good quality and when I received this furniture it had many dings, scratches and the fabric was marred. I advised the store to be led in a goose chase for a replacement Then they scheduled a repair tech who wouldn't fix anything he saw Again another goose chase they rescheduled another delivery and every piece was in worse shape than I had. I then spoke to managers which promised they'd get this resolved alas another scheduled delivery with a promise my furniture would be inspected prior to delivery guess what you got it the furniture was not perfect had dings and markings and now I'm told it manufacturer standards. I could return the set for a reduced credit towards an exchange "You've got be kidding" I bought and paid for quality furniture and they deliver outlet peices to me Ridiculous !! It's been 3 months and still no resolve in sight. . . . I'm very disappointed and would not recommend a purchase from them Liz -Pok
The worse place to buy furniture. The sales person was nice but the company sucks, don't every get a protection plan it the biggest scam on earth. I will never go to that store for anything, you are better off going and spending the money with Reymore and Flanagan and least you get better quality stuff. Ashly's furniture will only last maybe a year, it's garbage stuff, it's no better than Bobs drift wood stuff. If you want to get good stuff don't go to Ashly's four thumbs down.
It was my first visit to their Showroom at SHMall & turned out great. I've been looking for a full bedroom set for awhile now on line but the choices were overwhelming. Since my husband passed it's been hard to get this furniture settled but it's time now. I love my space in our mother daughter & this will complete the move. I took care of everyone else for so many years that it's hard to take care of me, but I kind of like it. The service was great & my sales man was wonderful. Turned out we both came from the Bronx & had a lot in common which put me at ease. I had picked out the bedroom set on line (made by Ashley) & saved it 3x's but seeing it in person I couldn't resist any longer & expect delivery by Friday. I am very happy with the service & will check with them first before buying more new stuff. My last bedroom set was bought in '76 so this will be a big boost in moving on.
I'm actually very disappointed with my experience at Ashley's. I went there last Friday looking for a table for my apartment. I found something nice and purchased it to be delivered to the store. I decided upon this option because my salesman told me that I could return the product without penalty if I decided that I did not want the table. I would not have purchased this table had I known this was not true. I was made to understand that once I left the premise with the table, sales were final. I wanted to return it before it even left the store. I went to pick up the table tonight and realized that it would not fit in my apartment. When I went to do my return I was told that it was against policy and it could not be done. As I said before, I would not have purchased the table if I had known this was not an option. My salesperson told me that once the product left the store, it could not be returned. Although the staff was polite, they weren't very helpful. I will not be purchasing anything from this franchise again.
Friendly and accommodating service.
I had a fantastic experience at this store with Kristen and Elaine who helped later on in the process. Kristen was so helpful, gave me ideas for my own space since I am clueless on decorating! She moved items close together and took a lot of time with me too which I very much appreciated as I know what its like to be a sales person. Kristen asked Elaine to help out on ideas and she helped tremendously by going on a hunt for just the right pillows and throws for me. I would give the experience 10 stars if I could!

Absolutely a rip off. We paid extra for the worry free guarantee.... What a JOKE that is. You call the insurance and they say it's not covered before even listening to your story. This store also acts like we're trying to help us get this issue resolved but they obviously didn't care enough to follow up.woth us. Will NEVER buy furniture from this MONSTER of a company again. Absolutely horrible customer service. Bought the insurance and nothing's covered, broken frame on the sectional and the fabric looks like I had it 20 years and it's only a year and a half. Horrible, do not buy anything here they don't back their products.

Poor customer service! I'm on my third kitchen set to arrive and I can't get my money back! Offered me a big discount -10 percent off a 600 broken piece of furniture that they tell you gets inspected! Customer service needs training-especially Princess and Diana! No I didn't make that up - lol ! Plus the store Manager Cynthia Hale promised three times a refunded but somehow doesn't remember that! After her confirmation I bought a set at Bobs! However, graciously Bobs was able to help and cancel the order! Don't waste your time or money!
6/22 - Recently used Meg at Ashley Home Store and she was great! Very knowledgeable and actually asked lots of questions about my family’s lifestyle to get an idea of what furniture was right for us. She taught me all about many signature Ashley features (zippers that fix themselves and trampoline material as the base of the couch, all hardwood frames, etc). At first, I was in a hurry and didn’t want to listen, however, what she told me made the difference and the sale. 6/19 - Jaheeme Griffin was awesome at the Poughkeepsie Ashley store. Do NOT bother going to the Middletown store though. Awful!!! Jaheeme fixed everything for me and restored my faith in Ashley.
Colin was my salesperson, in Poughkeepsie, NY store. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture as well as extremely polite. He took time to find out what my need were and found the furniture set that met my criteria. So I purchased a theater seating set. Love it!
