Excellent service! I dealt with the Manager Samantha since I haven’t had great experience with sales people in other stores. She was wonderful, knowledgeable and took 2 hours out of her day to help me furnish 4 rooms. I originally was going to purchase 2 rooms from Ashley but since she was so helpful, I decided that I was going to buy everything else there too. She explained pricing, special financing , delivery and protection plans thoroughly. I didn’t feel rushed , pressured or forced to make any decisions. She was a breath of fresh air and pleasant… highly recommend speaking to her for any concerns / needs.. thanks so much!
Went to Riverhead store, ordered living room set,king size bedroom set,kitchen set. Delivered and set up, looks beautiful. 2 sets of Hotel sheets, not in order. Still waiting for my sheets, had to go buy another set. Lousy follow up with customer service. Will never refer anyone to Bob's Discount Furniture
I was so excited when we picked out and ordered our furniture. We agreed with the sales person in store on a date. For delivery.The day before I called customer service and they said , no delivery was scheduled.so I am very disappointed now in the service and you can’t even call the store. I’m going to the store to give the sales person a piece of my mind!

Great service and products
Bought an entire bedroom set from this store, had a great experience while I was a potential costumer. My bedroom set is missing two vital parts on the bed frame. For weeks I have tried calling and texting my sales representative Joshua K, as well as the showroom and even their base in New Jersey. My sales rep and the store in Riverhead DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS. My sales rep (after saying time and again I could contact him with any issues) has not replied to me once. The HQ in Jersey confirmed my missing pieces but said I need to speak to the showroom. I have now been trying to text (which is an option) my issues. The reply is the same "beautiful day at Ashley's" text. And every time I enter my info another "sales rep" texts me back asking for the info I JUST sent. I feel like I'm playing a mind game. I have furnished 3 rooms of my house with Ashley but will not be going back, this is too much. Funny they are there when you're spending money but not if you have questions or concerns.. hmmm. I do not suggest using this furniture store.
Both Samantha and Neil at the Riverhead NY store were awesome! I am a return customer from 10 years ago as the Ashley product is durable and the customer service is great! Totally recommend this team very informative and took the time to explain everything….

We purchased a sectional. The salesman Tony was great told us about a 20% off promotion good though 7/4. This was Sunday The salesman tried to honor what we were told. The manger refused and lowered the discount. A different day. A different mood we would have cancelled.

I think Ashley Store have very good quality furniture. I have purchased several pieces for my home. Unfortunately this time it was a bad experience. I made a purchase of a dining room set and a dining room server. A good opportunity since the original price offer had a 40% discount since there were no more and I bought the one that was in the exhibition room. Everything very good until then. The next day I went with my husband to pick them up. None of the salespeople who very kindly assisted us during the purchase were able to help us move the furniture. My husband and I had to move our furniture to the car one by one. I don't know Ashley Store's policies, but with several of her agents in the store doing nothing in that moment, none of them gave us the necessary help. I think at least they would have helped us place them to the back door so we could load them onto the truck. It is a shame to have this bad experience which forces me to never buy from Ashley Store again nor recommend them.

Stay away! The quality of the furniture is lousy and the manufacturer doesn't stand behind it. To make things worse, they slip in a 5 year protection at the time of purchase without even notifying you and its doesn't cover a thing. Within six months things started falling apart and now we're stuck with it. You may as well shop at Bob's, at least you know what you're getting. We furnished our entire home through Ashley two years ago and we'll never go back.

I would give them a zero if I could. Furniture came chipped, had to send back. Delivery drivers came in quick and chipped my brand new moldings and scuffed by walls. They were not careful and came in a rush.
Purchased 2 leather electric recliners. I had an expeditious delivery with no problems. The both delivery personnel were courtesy and went above and beyond to make the set up perfect for me. This was my first experience with ASHLEY. I was quite impressed with my in-store to the delivery process with them. That’s why I’m giving them a FIVE STAR RATING. I will definitely re-visit the Riverhead store and spread the word to my neighbors.

Was going to buy a bedroom set and the following day I canceled it because I didn't want to make the payments so that was in February here we are in August and they ruined my credit saying that I owe them $3,000 which I didn't get any furniture I don't really think it's the store I think it's the credit Genesis credit I will never buy anything from that store

Ordered a couch to be delivered to our new home. Got a delivery date and time, they sent us a text confirming delivery for the next day. Nothing came. I called them and they said they don’t know why they gave us a delivery date because they don’t even have the couch in stock and don’t have a date of when it will be back in stock. For a couch I already paid for 2 month prior! And my dining room table came damaged and they won’t repair it because they claim it’s normal “wear and tear” !? From a table I never used? I will never use Ashley furniture again.

Our salesperson was Coraline and Jayce was the manager. We went to the Riverhead Long Island store. We bought a bedroom set and a coffee table and end table for the living room. My salesperson (Cathy) went above and beyond to make sure I found the right accent chair for my home. Had a lot of nice furniture but just a little expensive
I recently had to purchase a power lift chair for my mom to be delivered to her home. I live out of the state so I called the store to help and assist with this purchase. Neal Riske was the sales professional who assisted me through the entire process. He was fantastic in every regard as he dealt with my mom directly to make sure everything went smooth which can be a challenge when dealing with an elderly customer with physical challenges. This is the BEST customer service I have ever experienced in a home furnishings purchase. In fact, it's the best service I've received in all major home items shopping ever (that includes furnishings, accessories, electronics, appliances, etc.). Why? Jon and Coralie were friendly and down-to-earth. They felt like friends, helping us with our decision and provided the resources necessary to order. We first chose Ashley Furniture because that's where my daughter found her favorite bedroom set. We decided to purchase it, along with mattress for her, after our second visit because of Jon and Coralie. My husband and I even purchased a new mattress for ourselves, which was long overdue. I was impressed with the assistance with this, and even the availability of the cooling mattress protector and pillows! We don't buy furniture often. We've been living with many hand-me-downs to this point. It's a major decision, but we felt confident that we received the BEST deal, BEST quality and BEST service. My mother and I visited Ashly store in riverhead. We were immediately welcomed by Neil who was very helpful and nice. He immediately pulled a tape measure out of thin air when I asked for one and left us to explore the store without any added pressure. When we found a sofa we lived he was there to expedite the process. He was very informative and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this place for any future furniture purchases.

We recently visited the Ashley location in Riverhead and had the most pleasant experience imaginable! Neal was our sales person, and I can honestly say that working with him to design and purchase our new sectional was like working with a friend or family member. Not only was there no high pressure sales tactics, but Neal was extremely patient, courteous, and accommodating. Management was also flexible and supportive, and I would highly recommend using Ashley for any of your furniture needs.

I had a very enjoyable experience. I was seeking a sofa and loveseat set. I originally go to Raymour and Flannigan, but they didn't have a selection to my liking at all. That All changed when I went to Ashley home store. I was greeted warmly by Cathy, who was very attentive. I spotted what caught my eyes and Told Cathy I'd be back. I'm sure she didn't expect me to contact back, at least now a few hours later, but I did. That 2nd visit, same day I met with her associate Jayce, he was phenomenal and let me know that he and Cathy worked together, she was busy with another Customer. Jayce went the extra Mile. Once Cathy was free, she joined Jayce and I to complete the transaction. There was no pressure to purchase, only information on the products, they answered All my questions and made me feel valued as a now, Ashley home client. They both make the experience fun. I WILL NEVER ORDER WITH ASHLEY FURNTIURE AGAIN! long story short, bought the protection plan for my couch (to cover stains)- tried to use the plan and my request got denied... glad they got $279 for no reason... I cant even order the couch cushion again bc this couch is no longer made (Just bought in 2019) and the Customer Service lady was so rude to me on the phone. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY!!!

As soon as we walked in, we didn't feel bombarded, but got a friendly greeting and were told if we needed any help to let them know. We wound up working with Coralie, who listened to what we wanted/needed and didn't pressure us into anything but gave us our options and showed us everything we wanted to look at. Would up getting a bedroom set and mattress that we are so excited to put in our new home!

They sell used and floor models that are broken as new. Be careful of their no exchange policy after they unload broken, floor models, damaged and used things at your home. Customer service is just a bunch of scammers from Nigeria. I thought I had seen everything...

We purchased alot of product from Ashley. The sales rep told us our $6,000 outdoor set with fire pits had a 3 year warranty. The sales rep left and the manager Craig Reslin took over. Not only did he take the sales commission from the sales rep that helped us for two hours, but he also conveniently forgot to add the warranty package. The fire pits corroded so fast that they don't work anymore, (The whole set is two years old) the table we bought has such a poor finish on it that it's chipping. (Less than a year old) This was a classic case of bait and switch. All attempts through their store and warranty company have failed. They don't want to honor anything. I'll just go to the better business bureau. We were sold a warranty and then the manager removed it from the sale. Shame on us for not noticing.

Customer service kept connecting me to this store in River-head, NY - finally I was just like, “can I order my furniture w/ you?” And Jayce was SO helpful! Made the ordering process so easy, and my furniture is scheduled for delivery 7/16!

Sales even called to tell me he was sorry thinks it was a miss understanding but nothing they can do . Call customer service which even they adv that RIVERHEAD ASHLEY STORE NEEDED to make it right . Which they did nothing . Don't let the store fool you they are quick to take your MONEY BUT NO HELP. bait and switch

SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! DELIVERS DAMAGED MERCHANDISE & CLAIMS YOU CAUSED!! We're extremely disappointed with this store and our experience in trying to return/submit claim, after purchasing extended warranty. The fabric on my Accent chair/Dericka/Gold arrived damaged and after filing a claim the SAME DAY OF ITS ARRIVAL and providing photos of the defects, the company response was "it was customer caused"!!! Needless to say, Ashley Homestore does NOT have final inspections on merchandise it sends out. DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY you'll get nowhere with your claim. I could understand if I had the chair for days or weeks however, that was not the case....

My husband and I contacted Ashley about a bedroom set we were interested in. Craig Rissland was the advisor who contacted us. He was very helpful answering our questions even before we got to the store. When we were at the store craig not only helped us with the bedroom set. He helped us to find the right mattress. Absolutely worst furniture buying experience ever. The sales manager told us that the couch needed to be 3-5 inches from the wall in order to recline. NO!!! 4-6" is the company recommendation but in reality it was9 1/2" once the couches arrived. Then to top it off, the wedge that would make these two couches into a sectional, was garbage! Loose back, it literally wobbled, it came in three pieces with a huge gap between the two back pieces, leaving it with a completely unfinished look. In the end, I refused the delivery, now trying to cancel the order has become an ordeal. They'll be lucky I don't report them to the BBB. Oh and if I may add, they're still charging us over $200 for delivery. NEVER AGAIN!!! Lesson learned

Sales Associate Neil was wonderful and extremely helpful. We originally went in a few weeks ago to get a sectional for a new apartment we were moving into. After going back and measuring we realized the sectional was way too large for the space. We went back to see if we could just cancel and maybe find a different couch elsewhere but Neil showed us this new couch that came in that checked every box for what we were looking for. We decided to do an exchange of sorts. The whole transaction took maybe 10 minutes? Seamless. Highly recommend going to him for your furniture needs!
Samantha met us at the door and immediately introduced herself and offered her assistance. She very patiently spent considerable time with us and eventually we closed a sale with her. She could not have been more accommodating. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Would give 0 stars like everyone else if possible. My horrible experience is too long to list here. But lets just say Customer service and their employees in the store are terrible. I purchased a bed set, and couch. half of my furniture wasn't included in the deliveries when I was told they would be. Later I was told i would have a delivery and they never showed up. 4 Months later i'm still waiting for my furniture. And 3 days after they delivered the final piece to my sectional i noticed it was broken (wood on back pushing fabric of couch out, and wood beam broken in another part). Along with this, They never keep you posted on when your items will be available or delivered. NEVER GO HERE. GO TO BOBS.
To start, They have some nice furniture but getting anything from here is not worth the headache and frustration. I ordered a bed set, a sectional (couch) and a TV console with a firebox. Because of availability I was told it would be delivered in 2 deliveries. Which I had no problem with at all. Delivery 1 would be the bed set (minus the night stands) and my couch set (minus the ottoman). Delivery 2 would be a month later and be the rest. When I received my first delivery it was missing half of my sectional. They said they didn't know why it wasn't delivered and it will be added to the second delivery. And then said the Firebox is delayed and will arrive in another month and be in a new 3rd delivery. After receiving my 2nd delivery. half those items where missing. Now I will be receiving a 4th delivery of my nightstands and TV console that was supposed to be in that 2nd delivery. So currently I am still waiting on half of my furniture I ordered. Now to add to all the frustration of getting deliveries with missing pieces and having to get them in extra deliveries. The Sales Rep that your assigned to work with through all this has been impossible to contact. I was giving the business cell of another sales rep/ manager to work with getting my 2nd delivery who was also impossible to contact. Just to warn anyone purchasing anything here. Their purchase to delivery system is a nightmare. When you buy something you then have to wait for it to become available, then it gets assigned to your order and reserved. then it gets scheduled for delivery. Your items can be reserved at all different times sometimes months apart. Your sales rep is supposed to communicate with you through the process on when it will be available, reserved for you and when to schedule delivery; Which mine never did. On days I was told to call the business cell (you're given) he wouldn't answer. So I had to keep going into the store to check availability on my items and to schedule the delivery. And Items I was told was available and would be delivered ended up being missing from my deliveries. On top of that I purchased a mattress that ended up being delayed for 2 months so I return it way before the delivery date. But they couldn't credit my credit card that I purchased it on because the sales rep added it to my previous order which went on their credit line. So they had to credit the interest free credit line for the mattress and leave the $1500 charge on my credit card where it was charged on. *** update 12/27/20 : WAs told my nightstands would be delivered and was scheduled for the 26th. Never received them. Called and was told they dont know why and the next date they will be available is the 30th. Unbelievable....
I was disappointed. The store was very moshed together. Looking for dining room chairs, and they were mixed in throughout everything else in the store. I described what I was looking for to the sales associate and she then took me around the entire store the long way towards what I had described. Normally, this would have been a mild annoyance, but I had my mother with me, and she has difficulty walking. She even had her cane with her, but this didn't seem to deter the associate from giving me the unofficial tour of the entire inventory first. Also, for the prices, and the fact that I was going to be living with my choice, I wasn't happy with what was available that fit my current home decor. I honestly wouldn't go back.
I don't know and I'm supposed to buy more. - ???? We walked into Ashley, and the staff was really nice, they had some beautiful furniture. So we bought a beautiful fireplace/TV stand and I need to say it was the most expensive one I've ever seen. (Over $1000.) So when you pay top dollar you expect top quality, right? Well that's not the case. The fireplace insert is nice but the TV stand is a piece of %@!*. So if that's the quality of the furniture they sell, I'm really hesitent to buy a $5000. bedroom set. Like I said, the people were very nice and professional, and the fireplace came on time which is important to me. But when they say that they have a sale, there is no sale. The only sale they have is what way that you choose to finance. Pay it off in 6 months, this price, pay it off in 5 years that price. I think that, that is a shady way to advertise a sale when there really isn't any, but I guess that's on them. I fell for it, and might go back, but I really need to take a deeper look into the quality of the furniture and I suggest that you do the same.

I purchase the Effie small chest and 2 night stands. Heidi was remarkable in helping to find these pieces. I have a small bedroom. Couch was supposed to get delivered in October got pushed to November. Delivery day comes and it doesn’t fit through the doorway so they want to charge me a fee to get it assembled in house. When they never brought up the measurement service before I bought it. I had to call them two days in a row they never called me. Horrible company, Horrible service, horrible store, stay away! Just want a full refund taking my business somewhere else.

I was overwhelmed but he took the time to pay attention to my needs for my small space. I was very impressed he even included my children in the process making it fun for them. My experience at the Riverhead store was fantastic. All staff are easy to work with especially Khadijah and Tenisha. I also had another staff member assist me with finding the proper mattress he was knowledgeable of all the products they sold and didn’t pressure you to buy any products, I have for gotten his name but he was fantastic too. I cannot recommend the Riverhead, NY Ashley's enough! The furniture buying process is extremely overwhelming as a new home owner-- you're trying to figure out your "style", color scheme, and how to best fit your space--all while an associate breaths down the back of your neck, trying to get you to purchase from them. After trying three other furniture stores, we found Patrick at Ashley's. Patrick gave us the space to figure out exactly what we wanted, all while making sure we knew he was there for us when WE were ready. In doing so, we were able to find the perfect furniture for us, and seamlessly transition into ordering our perfect set. Patrick listened to our concerns, answered our questions with honesty and patience, and even offered us advice on colors/styles that matched us best. I even showed him pictures of our livingroom and he was able to explain the best way to arrange our furniture to make sure the room had the cozy feeling we were looking for. Patrick made sure our entire visit went smoothly from start to finish, and made lifelong customers out of us. If you need furniture-- GO SEE Patrick. You won't regret it.

I tried contacting Ashley 3 times before they sent me an email to provide photos. I sent the required images the same day and was told to expect a reply after 48 hours. Well, 4 days later I call them and the woman on the phone was so rude I could barely have a conversation with her. She kept stating that I was &"Wrong&" and that she knew what she was talking about. So, she ships out the 1 part ( even though in the photos it is very clearly 2) I receive the part and sure enough I was correct that there should have been 2 parts. I finally got another person on the phone and she claimed she is sending the second part and to email when it arrived. Well, it arrived and I emailed, and then a day later I emailed again, then 2 more days and another email. NO REPLY. When they tell you that the email is the fastest way that is Not true. Finally I just give up and call and the woman gives me a date 2 WEEKS from now to have someone come to fix my sofa. LITERALLY A MONTH to get this fixed. Never buying anything from Ashley again. Do yourself a favor. Don&'t shop there!!** Edit: I AM EVEN MORE UPSET NOW AS THEY JUST CANCELED A 4th APPOINTMENT. Please save your time energy and money and shop somewhere else!!

Ordered a bed for my daughter over a month ago and still waiting. I understand the whole Corona issue, but the order has been postponed multiple times. Their phone service is terrible, anytime you do a search for their store phone number it ends up giving you a phone number in New Jersey. Whenever I call the Jersey number there are always 16 callers ahead of me. Why can't I simply talk to the store where I ordered the bed from? They also lack the ability to text and receive texts, which is a must nowadays. If I could give zero stars I would.
We came in to look around and never thought we would settle on a sectional so quickly. Rachel Shavzin greeted us at the door. We told her what we needed and our specific layout of the sectional. She took us to a set we loved right away. We decided to look around and compare the other sets to the original one she showed us. We ended up going back to the original one. Rachel knows her stuff!! She shared details of the cushions the framing and the supports. We felt we got a quality, strong sectional to last us many years. Like I said, Rachel knows her stuff.

Great experience at this location! As soon as we walked in the door Rachel greeted us warmly. We explained our needs, a living and dining room set for our summer home. We wanted a table with 6 chairs, sofa, loveseat, end table, ottoman, and throw pillows. The first table and chair set we decided was perfect for our needs. The living room set shown was the right color and the ottoman fabric went well with it. She also suggested and we liked a two piece tray set to carry items from the kitchen to the table, or to be used as a base if we planned to have items available on the ottoman. We were joined by Patrick who offered suggestions regarding all the pieces and searched the floor for accessory items we might consider. Getting home we sent measurements of the walls to give Rachel a better idea. In doing that we found the sofa shown us was too long for the space when the end table was inserted. Today when we arrived, Rachel had found another sofa, in the same color scheme that would fit and it had a matching loveseat. Hooray! A second set of pillows was found that we liked better than those seen yesterday and we found a set of planters to accent the space. Rachel took the time to listen to our needs and translate them into items that we really liked rather than having to choose something that was ordinary. She is very easy to talk with, makes sure we get the complimentary water and coffee that is available. I jokingly commented about having a bagel since we had an early appointment and to my surprise, she had it ready when we arrived. We also took advantage of their free sleep center measurement of our mattress comfort scale and we tried out several mattresses available. Having such a good experience, we highly recommend the store, so make sure you ask for Rachel when you arrive.
Staff was generally quite courteous. However, after having purchased a piece of furniture (it was not available to see in the showroom, but we saw it online), it was delivered on time etc. There was an issue with it, and it was impossible to reach customer service by phone (e.g., 69 people ahead of me). So, we returned to the store with photos, and, again, the people were polite. However, at that point, we were presented with a copy of the return policy. The latter was not given to us at time of purchase. It turns out that they do not accept returns at all (unless the thing is irreparably broken). In my view, this is deliberate misrepresentation, if not fraud. What kind of store doesn&'t accept returns?

Great service, quality furniture
i had a coffee table delivered today from Ashley Home Furnishingsa couple of minutes after the delivery men left i noticed many small holes on the surface of the table. I immediately rushed to the door to stop the delivery men from leaving , but they had left .maybe they knew something was wrong and wanted to make a quick get away. calls to all of Ashley s phone numbers went unanswered even to the Riverhead store where the table was purchased . I will never buy anything else from them and advise anyone who does buy something from them to check and recheck the item before you let the delivery people leave .
I went into Ashly on Sunday thinking that it would be crowded and would have to wait for a salesperson. I met an adviser names Craig. He was polite, professional and well dressed. I was looking for three rooms of furniture and I needed it ASAP. He walked around with me looking for just he right furniture. He was not pushy, he listened to my needs and even carried chairs around the store to match colors. All in all it oak about 3 hours of finding everything I needed. He was very patient. At the time of checking out; he checked and double checked to make sure all was correct. I was very happy with my experience and would do it all over again. Everyone who worked there was nice. The place was clean and well organized. The inventory was gigantic. I give Craig 5 stairs and I will definitely go back for a bedroom chair and other items.

We purchased furniture at Ashley Home Store in Riverhead. Our sales rep was Jess. We highly recommend her expertise. She was fabulous. Came to our house to make sure all measurements were correct. She was very patient with us. Left no stone unturned. Delivery went smooth and now we are enjoying our new sectional. Thanks Jess

Went to Ashley furniture Riverhead location to purchase a mattress. Walked in to meet with a beautiful sales person Jessica. Not only was Jessica very knowledgeable about the product and sales but she wasn’t pushy and didn’t push to sell me stuff I didn’t need. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a furniruratore. Amazing experience! It was our very first time investing in new furniture. As soon as we walked in to Ashley Home Store in Riverhead, we were greated by a knowledgeable sales associate, named Jessica. Jessica listened to our idea of how we wanted to create our living room space. She jot down some of our vision....and the journey began!!!!! She was so well knowledged about Ashley's brand, products, shipping, and of course, their Worry Free Five Year Warrenty!!!!! Which , for me, as a mother..... is a true relief! To know that we have that "safety net," while raising 3 young, rambunctious children, our furniture will be completely taken care of, and replaced, with zero worries! Jessica worked diligently with us, until we found the perfect living room set! What a dedicated sales associate! She spent hours with us and didnt skip a beat!!! I walked in today, got all the measurements I needed from Sharon - went home and checked to be sure the bedroom set would fit and it does. I returned and ordered my bedroom furniture. Sharon was absolutely amazing (as was the other staff I was laughing and joking with while making my purchase). First of all I would like to thank my sales associate Bri, for being so helpful as soon as I walked in the store. I explained to her that I didn’t want to be pressured, and she was so polite and respected my boundaries regarding that. I was pretty annoyed while talking to Bri, another staff member walked over and interrupted our conversation and tried “taking over” when Bri was fine to begin with. Now to my couch- I picked out a sectional In the store, and the softness is basically nothing that I received. A call to customer service got me nowhere. They basically told me it has to be “broken in” which I highly doubt. I will not be purchasing from Ashley Furniture again for this reason alone. I only gave two stars because of Bri, for the furniture store alone, I’d give zero if I could.
Parked in a completely different parking lot for a different store, because you're in the same outlet doesn't give you the right to leave trash on my car. Disrespectful.

I came into Ashley furniture a couple weeks ago and was greeted by Craig. He was professional, funny, cheerful and an all around a great salesman. So helpful in finding the right mattress and new bedroom set. I will be definitely ordering again from Ashley furniture and making sure Craig is my salesman.

I spent several thousand dollars on a bedroom set with Ashley. Both the bed and dresser came damaged. It took over a month for replacement parts to come in, and when they did, the replacement part for the bed was the wrong color. Ashley refused to send the correct color for the part because it is under the bed and most people "won't see it anyway." Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Do not order from this store. There are plenty of other places where you can get your furniture that treat their customers better.
Bought a living room set while visiting my parents this Labor Day. Set arrived damaged after waiting home for the 4hr delivery window. I was given a second delivery date for the "showroom quality merchandise " as they put to be delivered and they NEVER SHOWED UP. Gave me a 12-4pm delivery window and then called at 6pm while I was at my daughter's swim meet to say they were in front of my house. Don't waist your time asking for delivery charges to be refunded for the HORRIBLE SERVICE. The corporate office will tell you to call the store, the store will tell you to call corporate. All you do is waist time on hold for hours. I need furniture for my den and basement and will not be shopping here ever again. Go to Raymore & Flanagan bought stuff from them and everything went smooth from sales to delivery. Now I get to set up a 3rd delivery date from this horrible customer service company!
I just bought a beautiful bedroom set with amazing help from Jessica. You could tell she was new and still learning and I am so glad that I get to be one of her first customers. She was so personable that I felt like I knew her for years. I strongly recommend coming to see her for your next furniture buy!
The store is quite lovely but the staff are simply stellar! My sales person Danielle who is new was amazing, the manager was delightful and so helpful and Tanisha with her years of experience is a very savvy award Oscar winner. She is truly an asset to that store. Thank you all for your help. Truly a five star rating!
Ordered a couch and had it delivered today by the rudest, most disrespectful delivery man I've ever encountered. Won't be recommending this store, love the couch but maybe screen your help!
Awful service!! I see the other poor reviews, but liked the furniture so I figured I'd give it a shot. I just walked out after walking around the store for 30 minutes with no one acknowledging me. I see a man standing at the desk that I walked past previously and asked if there's anyone who can help. His response was that when I walked in he said hello and I blew past him. I said what?? I said I didn't see or hear you. Absolutely rude response. How about yes how can I help you and I could've looked past the fact that no one wanted to help. Instead I walked out. Your loss Ashley. I just moved to the area and spent plenty and Raymour. Was looking to get furniture for 2 more rooms. I guess I understand why your parking lot was completely empty. . .
Never again. Don't go here unless you're made of money and enjoy being lied to. They use every dirty sales trick in the book, but you don't even realize because they're being so nice to you. 1) They inflate the prices on the sales floor and then they PRETEND TO GIVE YOU GREAT DISCOUNTS when in fact they're giving you the online price. A sales manager runs and "makes calls" to get you these "discounts" but it's bullshit. 2) If you qualify for a big enough line of credit they will try to talk you into purchasing a mattress. After two hours of the salespeople blowing smoke up our asses we somehow found ourselves agreeing to pay $8k over 5 years. The second I left the store I was like "What have I done?" and then I didn't sleep for 2 days. 3) If you leave the store with ANY merchandise, it CANNOT BE RETURNED, refunded, or exchanged so now we're saddled with all this expensive bedding for a bed we didn't end up buying because we canceled the entire sale. I've never heard of such a policy in any other store on the planet. The next time any salesperson comes near me in any store I am going to hiss at them.
I am currently in the process of trying to add a piece to an order that I placed back in January 2019. At the time of purchase, I was in the process of finishing my new house, and had discussed with the sales rep (Luke, at the Lake Grove, LI location) that I would like to add additional pieces based on the size of the room upon completion. At this time, I was promised that if I wanted to add more pieces all I had to do was "call the store" and it would be handled on the phone, and that they would honor the discount. To back track, the entire experience with Ashley Furniture just leaves you feeling dirty. Like buying a car from a used car salesman. There is ZERO transparence, even different sales reps will promise you different prices to make the sale. They will say whatever it takes to make the sale, promising you the door. Fast forward to now, I have called Ashley well over 20 times and have been passed on to the next rep over and over. I have spoken to multiple people at the Lake Grove and New Jersey customer service call center (when I can't get through to Lake Grove). No one yet has been proactive in helping me solve this issue. Although they have agreed to the 35% off, they are insisting I need to pay $80 in delivery for a single piece (armless chair). I have even offered to drive to any Long Island location to pick up the piece. Today, after speaking with Marcell at the Lake Grove location, I was told that Luke was terminated because he "promised things to customers that he could not deliver on. " I am confused as to where this leaves me as a customer? No one has offered a solution to right their wrong in that their sales rep was misleading, misguiding, and employing bad business practices. At this point it is clear that Luke was saying whatever he wanted in order to make the sale which goes against the ethics of a sound business. The store manager, Marvin, has yet to be able to speak to me on the phone. If the store knowingly had an employee terminated because of bad business practices, they should be the ones offering sound solutions as a remedy. The only solution I got today from Marcell was a snarky comment that he "does not have a time machine" so he doesn't know how to help. Save yourself the hassle. Any money you feel that you can save from shopping here will certainly cost you in time and headaches. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I wish I would have listened to other reviews.
I had a great experience at Ashley HomeStore's Riverhead location. John greeted me within minutes of my arrival and he proved to be very knowledgable about all things Ashley furniture. I'm glad I stopped in!
John was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. They provided us with a 5-star experience while we browsed and tested various pieces on the floor. They even offered refreshments! Finally, the store was spotless and welcoming.
ADVICE - SHOP ELSWHERE. Sketchy at best. The red carpet treatment you get from the sales staff in store ends as soon as they’ve made their sale. They may text you to solicit a review, that’s before they’ve even shipped your merchandise. Glad we waited for delivery before reviewing even though we had good expectations at that point. Good luck if anything is damaged, example $6k worth of furniture and they won’t make good on a lamp shade that arrived damaged. And just give up if you are not satisfied with ANYTHING. Also don’t waste time going back to the store. They just refer you to the 800 number and you’ll waste enough time with the 45 minute hold queue. Shame, we would have bought so much more in future but they’re inability to even call back when they say they will shows their disdain for the customer. I went to Ashley Homestore in Riverhead yesterday to check out recliners for my husband. I was met by Peter Schwartz. I told him I was looking for a small profile recliners. He knew exactly what I was looking for. We purchase two, plus a sofa. Peter made the process of buying furniture easy. He provided valuable input and easy comfortable, customer service.
I worked with Jonathan Z., who diligently assisted me in finding exactly what I wanted to purchase for my apartment. His follow-ups were great without being "salesy". I love Ashley Home Store and its products to begin with, but with a sales representative like Jonathan Z., it made my furniture shopping experience much more pleasant and effortless. Thank you!
I was looking for bedroom furniture for my daughter’s room, so I stopped in Ashley Furniture last week. I was greeted by the nicest young man named Alex. He took me around and showed me all the furniture that fit what I described to him. He was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. The store is beautiful; everybody that approached me at the store was also very polite (also not pushy) but I was particularly impressed with Alex. It is so refreshing to see a young man with an old fashioned work ethic and amazing customer service. It is very rare these days these days to run into an intelligent, caring sales associate like Alex and I highly recommend if you need any furniture you stop by.
My wife & two kids stop by the New Ashley in Riverhead. We were met by Vince (who by the way made us laugh right away). Vince then introduced us to the Senior Sales Manager Jonathan Zaldivar. We were blown away with the high level of service that he provided us with. Snacks for the kids- Starbucks and sweets for the wife and I. We’ve never purchased so much furniture without having a PUSHY sales guy- Raymore! We’re fortunate to have dealt with Jonathan & Vince. It didn’t seem as if they sold us anything, despite Jonathan strategically answering all of our concerns. Jonathan commended me for being coach and my wife for being a nurse. He educated us on how Ashley is out to make a positive impact on our community!! Hope and dream program allows his store to give and deliver a bed for a child in need! Wow! Although we purchased a mattress a year ago, he proceeded to show us some new and awesome technology he has in his store to fit a mattress to your exact comfort level. So people, if you purchase a mattress, your basically providing a kid in our neighborhood with a bed! All in all Great service, great pricing, great everything. This is a nightmare. I placed an order thinking everything will be deliver like they said it would. It was on the delivery date that I noticed one of the item that I had order was not delivered. I made a large purchase when the delivery guys asked to sign for it I saw that the item that I didn't receive was on there too. I wasn't going to sign for something I did not receive. I placed four call out to customer service and after being place on hold for multiple times and to have a response like call back later, I found out one of the item that I ordered was on backorder. I was not notify ahead of time but I was like give them the benefit of the doubt, things like this happen. It's a week later, I have not receive a phone call or even a message as to update me what is going on. So, I called customer service two times today and to place on hold for 30 minutes and then to explain my situation and then to be placed on hold again for another 20 minutes until I hang up because I decided to call at a later time hoping there will be less wait time. So later that day, I made a another call out to customer service and I guess I was lucky because I was only placed on hold for 15 minutes before speaking to someone and after I explained the situation the call ended. I cannot even explain how frustrated I was. I called again, placed on hold again, and I guess I was lucky because it was same person who I spoke to earlier so I didn't need to explain the situation over. But the reply that I receive was there is no date and that I should speak to the lake grove store where I purchase everything from and that he was going to transfer my call. During the transfer, the phone rang twice and then the call ended. This is the most unprofessional way to run a business. I, the customer have to track information on my missing item. All this frustration could have been avoided, if someone would have contacted me ahead of time to tell me the item is on backorder or someone care enough or did there job to update me as to what is going on.

Called the factory, they told me the Ashley stores in NY are independently owned, gave me the owners number in NJ Called NJ. Robocall machine puts me on hold. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. If I can ever get someone to speak to I am cancelling my order. Furniture delivered 2 weeks later. . . . . . . After delivery crew left, tried opening drawers. 1 drawer only opens 25%. Called customer service. . . . . 9 calls ahead of me. 7 hours later, still 4 calls ahead of me. READ THIS CLEARLY. . . . . . DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE You can thank me later
If I could rate this no stars I would. I went there looking for a mattress, 1. When I got to the store the person I had spoke to on the phone wasn't available but the manager Mitch came and said he would take care of us . Like any other person it makes you feel more comfortable that you're dealing with someone a little more "professional" we look around and I decide to get one however I saw it online and I decide I rather get it online. When I mention it to him he states that if I order it with him I would get to pick the day it would be delivered. I decide to do it because I wanted to make sure someone would be home. A few days later I had to confirm the delivery and I notice the size of the mattress was wrong. I called and spoke to Mitch one more time and he assured me everything was corrected and I had nothing to worry about. Long story short they deliver the wrong mattress. To be clear I was remodeling my room and It is a memory foam which comes all wrapped so there's no way I could've seen the label. I have been dealing with Bill who has been nothing but helpful but not once did this "manager" speak to me. Not once did Mitch like any manager, spoke to me to reassure me everything would be fixed . Horrible experience. I will never step foot in that store ever again, that's so called manager should stick to being in his office.

ITS ALOT BUT IT MAY HELP U IN THE FUTURE Really horrible experience with Ashley in general. Purchased a sectional which was delivered a week later. The delivery guys stained 4 spot on 2 different pieces of the sectional. 1st mistakeI didn't thoroughly inspect the furniture before signing the delivery paperwork. Advice : check it once, check it twice, even have another family check it. . they delivery guy will rush you but f them they have to wait till you sign off. . . So after finding the stains about 30 mins later I call the store to let them know, they said once it's delivered and I signed off there is nothing they can do and it becomes a warranty issue. I say ok no biggie that's why I bought the $299 5 year warranty. I contact customer service, explain to them the current situation and see what my options are. . At this point I was a little aggravated but was like ok let's see where it goes. . . 2nd mistake Not having the warranty throughly explained. . . In a nutshell this is how it works. . Ashley's cs orders the damaged part to your home ( which takes a 7-10 days if the parts are in stock). When the parts arrive you have to call them back and schedule an appointment for a tech to come and repair or replace all damaged parts ( which takes another 7-10 day if ur lucky ). Back to my story. . So I call for an appointment, they have nothing available till 2/9/2019. . mind you it's 1/12/19 and the parts will be delivered 1/15/2019. . Now I'm fuming . . A brand new sectional that I didn't even damaged is going to take a month to be repaired. . Moral or the story. . don't get f'd by Ashley's. .
