DO NOT SHOP HERE. I am absolutely disgusted by the predatory behavior at this Ashley Furniture location. I spent $5,000 on a couch on 12/1, which was delivered on 12/5. Less than a week later, the exact same couch was marked down by $2,000. When I went in for a simple price adjustment—well within the 7-day window—the sales associate, Jewel, and the manager were beyond horrible. They were dismissive, rude, and used every lie in the book to keep my money. They claimed "online prices are different" (even though I was looking at an in-store tag) and then hid behind the delivery status to claim I had no recourse. It is now clear they rush delivery just to "lock you in" so they can rob you of $2,000. I used their Ashley Advantage card, so I am now forced to pay off a $5,000 debt for an item the store admit is only worth $3,000. Since then, I have been completely ghosted. The store doesn't answer the phone, support tickets are a black hole, and the "senior manager" never called me back as promised. This isn't just bad service; it’s a scam. They wait until they have your signature and the furniture is in your house, then they treat you like you don’t exist. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and predatory. Take your hard-earned money to a retailer that actually has a soul. SHAME ON YOU, ASHLEY.

I came shopping with my mother for lamps. Adele met us as soon as we walked in and was extremely helpful selecting which lamps to purchase. After we decided on a set of lamps, the purchasing processing was super simple. Everyone at this location was extremely nice and helpful.

Sales representative Corey gave us an incredible experience during our visit today. Both visits at this location were beyond insightful and our first interaction with him brought us back to make our purchase on our second visit. He was understanding, extremely patient and respectful towards our decision making which allowed for us to solidify our choice of purchasing with Ashley’s. Placed an order in store that I need to change something on and it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone I’ve called customer service and was informed that the store has to make the change but when they tried to transfer the call they “weren’t able to get anyone in the store”. I’ve made several failed attempts so I’ll be making my way to the store to cancel my order. I couldn’t imagine having to file a warranty claim.

I purchased my sofas from Ashley Furniture during the COVID pandemic, trusting the brand’s reputation and the five-year warranty they offered. At first, everything seemed fine, but about a year after the pandemic, I started having serious issues with my furniture cushions losing shape, discomfort, The sofa totally collapsed in the middle poor support, etc. That’s when the nightmare began. I tried for years to get in touch with Ashley’s customer service—no one picked up, the numbers listed were either out of service or sent me in circles, and I never got any help. Every attempt to resolve the issue was met with silence or dead ends. There was no clear path to filing a warranty claim, no guidance, no real support. It was incredibly frustrating. Now, they’re telling me my warranty has expired, and because I couldn’t get in touch with them during the valid period, I’m left with damaged furniture and no coverage even though I did everything I could to get help. This experience was unacceptable. I want to warn others not to trust Ashley Furniture’s warranty promises. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. Their customer service is virtually non-existent, and the hassle is simply not worth it. Don’t waste your money or time there are better companies out there who actually stand behind their products and treat customers with respect.

Great homestore, clean organized and a great selection, the whole crew are knowlegable and everyone pitches in to accomodate any concerns and preference that you have in mind ( as long as its available). There are a handful of Ashley shops in the Island but you won't be sorry to shop at this particular one.

I will never purchase anything from Ashley! My father and i purchased a sectional for over 4 thousand dollars and added a protections plan that there employee Kanan told us to get. He miss informed us about it what they cover and gave us a false flyer about what they covered. Now we are unable to get our couch taken cared of also we are unable to get a full refund. Mind you the protection company do not cover everything like they flyer stated! They are the worse and I hope they close down

I came here on a rainy Monday with my boyfriend. We have been through trial and error with finding a suitable and enjoyable couch for us. We were interested in remodeling our basement and decided why not stop by Ashely’s to look around. We were instantly greeted at the door by John he was wonderful. Offered us water cracked jokes with us and made sure we had room to make our own decisions on our timing with no rush. He was amazing and because of him we were able to find a couch of our own sit down and get comfortable in it and now we are bringing home a beautiful couch. He was honestly great. Worst place to purchase furniture.. Make u pay high protection plans then when they can't fix the furniture u have to fight with them for months to get a credit back and u can only use the credit in there store then they jack up the price when u go choose back a furniture and charge u delivery and protection again on top of the adjusted price and let me tell u I lost 2 day work for furniture delivery first day they brought me one piece of the sofa the second time they brought me the wrong parts of the sofa and I have to take another day off again all because of their bullshit

The Best Part of This Experience? Buying the Couch. After That, It Was a Disaster. Our experience with this company has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. When purchasing our couch, we made it explicitly clear to the salesperson, Corey, that we needed it before the Super Bowl. He assured us it would be delivered the Friday before, so we were excited and confident in our purchase. However, the night before delivery, the driver called and mentioned that something seemed wrong with the order—he had never seen two left-facing pieces for a sectional. Upon reviewing our invoice, we realized that Corey had indeed ordered two left-facing sections. We immediately called him to rectify the mistake, and after contacting his team, he offered us two options: 1. Wait until Tuesday for the correct piece to arrive (after the Super Bowl, which defeats the purpose of our purchase timeline). 2. Pay out of pocket for a third-party delivery service because the company does not deliver on weekends. Why should we have to pay extra to correct their mistake when we had already paid a $250 delivery fee? After further discussion, the store manager, Roy, offered yet another “solution”—we could pick up the correct piece ourselves from their warehouse in Edison, NJ. So, after already paying for delivery, we were now expected to cover tolls, gas, rental and, most importantly, waste our time to fix their error. Reluctantly, and out of sheer frustration, we agreed to pick up the piece. Roy offered a mere $150 refund for the massive inconvenience, which felt like an insult given the situation. On Saturday, we drove over an hour to the warehouse. When we arrived, we partially opened the box to confirm the piece was correct—and, of course, it was the WRONG PIECE AGAIN. Absolutely infuriating. The warehouse employee, who was simply following the SKU numbers provided by the store, was not to blame—this was once again a mistake caused by Corey and Roy. After another round of phone calls and an hour of waiting at the warehouse, they finally managed to correct their error. We were told to return in 15 minutes to pick up the correct piece, adding even more wasted time to an already exhausting process. In total, we spent four hours dealing with this mess, on top of the additional expenses and hassle of retrieving the item ourselves—despite having paid for “white glove” delivery service. The entire experience was an absolute nightmare. For a $2,500 purchase, we expected professionalism and efficiency, but instead, we were met with incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction. This was by far the worst furniture-buying experience we’ve ever had. Buyer beware!

Worst place ever they don’t follow up with you they push protection I declined it then all of a sudden a new person comes along trying to convince me and give me more of a discount to purchase protection do not waste your money or time plus I saw online that my couch was cheaper online then in store turns out there franchised owned wow what a joke huh so you jack your prices act like your giving a discount when in reality you just play a numbers game manger was terrible pushy and everyone is very pushy especially for that protection once you tell the sales person no they try again and again or send someone new like I’m dum don’t be a fool don’t believe or trust them if I could give them zero stars I would

Strongly advise against doing business here. The saleswoman, Annastacia, was helpful however every other facet of this business is managed incredibly poor. Aside from the fact that the location is filthy— the manager is slimier than a used car salesman. I purchased a floor model bed frame over 3 weeks ago. After the purchase, when preparing to bring it to my car, they “discovered” that they don’t have the bed frame, just the head and footboard. Long story short, I had to come back a week later for the rest of it. Not the end of the world. I get there and now we discover the hooks are missing from the sideboards. So I’m once again asked to return once those are in. Now another week goes by before I have to check back in and it’s explained that they never ordered the hooks. So now by the time the hooks are in, we’re well over 3 weeks, really a month, from my purchase. Pretty unacceptable. For whatever inexplicable reason I still was willing to pursue further business with them because I wanted a couch. In one of my three visits to the store to pick up one item, I’m told they can price match from anywhere that will ship to me. Their couch (on visit one and two) is listed for about $750. I find it online at a place that’ll ship it to me for $550. So on my THIRD visit, I attempt the purchase. (They now marked the couch up to $999 in time for their Presidents’ Day “sale,” total scam artists). They tell me that “one week ago” their policy changed and they now only have a pathetic list of vendors they’ll honor. They offer me the two couches for something like $1300. If they price matched like they originally told me (mind you I would’ve made the purchase before the “policy change” on my second visit if they had the inventory they promised me would be there), it would’ve been $1100. Fine, not a tremendous difference. However, w the delivery cost and tax, which they previously mentioned they’d “cut me a deal on,” after wasting my time and screwing me over for a month, essentially indicating free delivery, which I would deem appropriate, the best they can offer is about $50 off of an inordinate $270 delivery free. So we’re looking at $1650, when it should’ve been $1300. Their behavior is shady and snakeish. I won’t be doing business with them again and I advise you follow my lead. Poor organization. Corey and Annastacia are good people, the manager is Horrible.

My husband and I went in today to browse sectional sofas. Donna assisted us and was able to find us exactly what we wanted which included a recliner and a chaise lounge at the price point that we wanted. Donna was so helpful and also lovely. We had not gone in with the intent of purchasing today but we knew we could not find something else more perfect at our price point and we couldn't be happier.

I ordered bed from them when they came to deliver one of the part was missing and the delivery guy fake signed for us.when we told the person he said store people will call us. We waited for 15 days no one called us.when we called to scheduled a delivery they came without the piece and today is the third time and still came without the piece and I have worst experience when them.

Bad bad bad experience o my god…I decorated my whole house with Ashley furniture but the very first year my sofa broke badly bcoz my 6 years old son seated with jump I mean come on six years old boy can break sofa that big sofa…when I was buying Ashley furniture they convince us oh u have a kid apply for insurance also…I payed 1000$ box more in insurance…in 5 years if ur furniture breaks then call them they will come and will fix…but we call 3rd time they reply that we can not help u becoz u didn’t report in 30 days….so plz do not buy from Ashley and if u buy do not take insurance ..I m so sad really sad…what a waste of money….i brought bedroom sat including everything..when they delivered my bedroom sat they didn’t give me chest drawers….customer service so terrible…Pakistani girl she was helping us…when I call back her and said I will complain about u she got scared she was asking me when r u coming…probably she did something worng…bedroom sat she showed us i saw everything was there chest drawers also but letter they didn’t deliver…so guys do not buy from ashley valley stream one Thank u

Unfortunately I will never go back to Ashley furniture due to I had ridiculous amount of grief when I was with trying to get something delivered. I scheduled for the delivery of my new couch and a pickup of my old couch just to find out that they're trying to drop off my new couch and then several days later pick up my old couch. Which is extremely confusing because I wouldn't know where I was going to put in my new couch when I already have a couch. I even called the previous day due to seeing indiscrepancies just to be lied too that it'll be okay and everything will be fine. I had repeatedly told them that I will not be here on the second day. I then had to sit on customer support for 15 minutes longer than I ever should've been because it should have all been handled. I will never return to this company for anything. Your handling has lost you a customer.

I actually love my furniture and recommend people to ashley furniture but I was completely outraged with the warranty experience. I spend a $1000 on a 5 year worry free warranty. They show you the selling features and make you feel like it covers everything and then you try to use it. I was never informed at the sale about what it doesn't cover, or what will void the coverage so I can do an even better job of taking care of my $10,000 order or I would have decide not to get the coverage because I find out it doesn't cover anything of any real value when it came to my bed for example. The wooden support leg under the bed broke and I was shocked that wasn't covered i was told. That's basic wear and tear.unbelievable. then it's not like they follow up with I'm sorry it's not covered but offer a solution like we can order that part for you or direct u to the facility in which I can order that part. It leave you with the feeling of we got your money and there is nothing we can do for you. You figure it out.then the warranty bullet points show that it covers cosmetics damage. Then I find out my claim was denied because of accumulation damage. I would also like to add they did not give me the terms and conditions to look over before I made my decision. So my fiancé's night stand hand some rings on 1 corner of the night stand and they said it's not covered because of accumulation. My argument to the individual was there is only one process for fixing the finish on wood and that is sanding the area and re staining and add polyurethane if they are not using a combination poly stain. So what does it matter if it's 1 ring or 4 rings.also I looked up the terms and conditions and found out that you have to report any accident within 30 days but the warranty is good for 5 years and you can make multiple claims. It doesn't make sense. it appears they just add stipulations to make sure they don't have to fix anything. So let's do the math. I have an accident then you send someone out to fix my ring on my night stand and this happens several times across my 5 years warranty how much is that. Verses you coming out1 time and fixing 1 section. I feel tricked because if they gave me all the information so I could make a well informed decision I would have never got the warranty on anything other than my recliner just in case the motor went bad. If ashley is in the business of just trying to get as much money as possible and their staff might have a bonus incentive for selling warranties and they don't care about having repeat customers than they are doing a great job and they should continue their practice but if they have integrity and want loyal customers they should do a retraining with their sales staff to inform customers of what it actually covers,what it doesn't,what will void the policy.let them know u have 30 days to report.let them know of the basic wear tear damage that's not covered that will typically happen especially with the bed frames that use those spaced out legs for support and let them know it's not covered and let them know how they can order it if and when it happens because that will be a common problem. I also called up ashley store in which I made my purchase and explained my situation and was told if that is what the warranty department said there is nothing we can do. I have never took my time to write a bad review before this whole ordeal made me furious.i spend a $1000 dollars on a warranty on $10,000 worth of furniture and I can't get anything fixed. Then when I ask is there a way I could find out what color stain did they use on the furniture so I could do it myself because I actually love my furniture and I would like to put it back to it's original look. I was told to look for a label,look online.i asked is there a way to contact the manufacturing to find out and he had no answers for me other than go to homedepot try match swatches to get it as close as possible.so if the 3rd party did come out how would they match the color? I would have mismatch furniture if they couldn't get it close enough.

This is my first time shopping at Ashley furniture store. I went to the valley stream branch and my sales rep was Mr Corey Johnson, he was very knowledgeable and patient, professional yet courteous. I had an awesome shopping experience especially since I left and went back in 2 hours, and Corey attended to me both times. He made a great impression on me and I will definitely shop there again. We found ones we loved quickly and was excited to completing our purchase. I had an Ashley card and figured it would be a quick purchase however that wasnt the case. My card was close without my knowledge and i didn't have enough to carry out sale with the one on file. Q quickly assured me that we will figured it. We had to make a couple of calls...he even went as far as talking to his manager when the call service didn't help. He went above and beyond to make sure that i stayed as close to my budget as well as he was clear about the different offers made in order for me to complete my purchase and be able to pay off in a timely manner. SCAM ! Do not buy a mattress from them . You will pay for a warranty and they will not honor . Spent 10k on a mattress paid for 10 year warranty 6 years later mattress sunk in and now they will not cover damage because mattress has a stain . Very poor business practices and very misleading. Sunday 12/31/23 my brother, my son and I when to the Ashley Store in the Green Acres Commons. My brother is moving and wanted new furniture. When we first entered the store sales rep Donna greeted us immediately. Donna was friendly and very professional. What I really liked about Donna was she was easy to work with, great listener and she had a great eye for style. Sometimes sales people tend to talk over you and can be pushy. Donna listened to my brother guided him but allowed him to choose. In the end we bought a dinning room set, sofa and rug. I love Ashley furniture and their sales team are the best. Bravo Donna!

I purchased a bedroom set with the mattress and everything. Got the delivery and the mattress is wrong. I asked for a 2-sided mattress, and they sent me a one-sided mattress. Talk to warehouse and they ask me to wait for 2 or 3 days for the right one. They are saying that they can't do anything and that we have to sleep on the floor in this cold weather.

I have an Ashley card and yet at purchase I was required to pay $100 down from my bank account. If Ashley is a credit account why am I required to put a down payment?

Never but their furniture warranty. They just fool u by saying that everything is covered but when its time and u call them they will say its another company handling that and the company which handles will say its not. Few items are on warranty for only 30 days and they will say its for 5 yrs. Its just there way to making money as they will make it sound so tempted and later on ur money is in waste. Whatever they charge on warranty u can but a extra furniture item for urself but never and i say never buy there warranty. I called and after continues contacting there warranty company called 5 star service informed me that nthng is included and i should have read the warranty disclosure which was never given and they have no idea why the sales person said everything is included in warranty so in a way just throwing balls at each other. So will highly say never waste ur money on Ashley furniture warranty as its total waste on money which they make sure u pay in full when ur buying the furniture.

Do not purchase from here. They don’t explain that every sale is a final sale even if you want to exchange for more items and actually make the store MORE money. They purposely fail to explain these things so they can make a sale. Terrible customer service. Adele is a sales rep that only cares about her commission. Arnell the customer care rep was very arrogant. They offered no assistance in resolving the issue. The same day we received the delivery we tried to call to arrange for an exchange and were denied. save yourself the stress, don’t do go here.

I purchased a a living room set in 2019 and purchased their 5 year warranty. A few beams broke under the chaise lounge section after 2 years of purchase. Their five star customer service for the warranty was horrible. I got the run around for months before someone came to try to fix and then they never came back when they said they couldn't fix it. I had to call them several times before a credit was sent to purchase a new one.They told me at the store they would haul away the broken chaise but on the day of delivery they told me they couldn't. Just to be told after that it would cost me $180!!!! Ridiculous!!!... horrible communication and knowledge of what the store policy is. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

Ashley Show room does not tell you give a true understanding of what the Premium Protection plan covers. In less than a year my chest was not able to close due to broken reals on the draws… the warranty company just told me they can’t help me cause they don’t cover such. It was a horrible experience I ordered parts for a bed since the third week of May 2023, I was told that I would receive the items within 10 days, 10 days passed no delivery, I called to get an update they inform me that the part was shipped, two weeks passed, I called on a Tuesday and they inform me that they spoke to the warehouse and I should receive the parts that Saturday. Again no delivery I went to the store in valley stream and I was informed that the part is out of stock and they have no idea when will I receive the parts. Lies lies lies, so unprofessional and I just received the parts on August 3, 2023. I would not recommend Ashley to anyone….. they don’t even deserve one star….

Corey was a great salesman. He always had a nice attitude towards us and we managed a great deal together.

It was an long but amazing journey from choosing my furnitures to having them Delivered. Thanks to my sales rep Rori and my two guy delivering the couch on 6/1 Joel and Jose they did everything to make the couch fit even though it seemed difficult they made it happen.

We received excellent customer service from Xavier! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great communicator who helped us make a great decision. We will definitely return should we need any more furniture in the future.

Upon arrival I was greeted with warm welcoming smiles. The associate that assisted me name was Ronnisha she was very polite professional and knowledgeable of the items in the store and the specific items I was interested in that was not in the store at the time;but she was able to find it on her tablet and show me one in the store that was similar. She took her time in with answering my questions and finding out the difference in the measurements of the items in the store compared to the one I actually wanted that was online so I could have an better idea of the size I was getting. I had a really lovely comfortable (Not pressured) experience with Ms.Ronnisha at Ashley Furniture Store in Vally Stream. I did purchase the items I wanted from online;the price in the store was a little bit higher than what was priced online and I was given the online price…Yay! Mr.Alberto closed out my purchase and it was a pleasure dealing with him as well…very nice. My issue is not with Salesperson. Store ppl are actually Good Ppl. ------ no complaints about store/merchandise. ------ MY DELIVERY WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!! DRIVER WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.... I don't want to deal with ppl who don't care.... HOPEFULLY ASHLEY will hire professionals to represent their name.

I was unaware that I purchased a damaged chair until I got home…I am aware that it was a discounted floor model but damaged goods should’ve been communicated so that I can make an informed choice vs paying close to $400 for a a damaged chair. I could’ve chosen to settle or ask for a deeper discount. I showed proof and the response was I’ll be taken care of on a future purchase. There will be no future purchase.

I bought a coffee table and an end table from them. When they delivered them they looked awful so I sent them back. When They redelivered them again the coffee table is white and the end table is cream, now they refuse to fix the problem telling me that's how it should be. All they care about is your money once they get it they find every excuse in the book not to fix any issues you may have with their products. I learned my lesson, I'll never buy anything from Ashley again.

I have been to many furniture places and many Ashley Furniture stores in Florida. I came with my daughter to Ashley in the Green Acres shopping center.l, Valley Stream.We are looking for a couch and bedroom set. Tee our Sales person was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great advice. She spent time with us even though we told her we are waiting to hear about a closing date and can’t buy yet. I’ve been a valued customer of Ashley for a long time now! I’ve vouched never to order anything again after the last time, but I went against my decision and did order. I wanted a bedroom set for my son, a love seat, a mattress, coffee table and two side tables. I Chose the love seat I wanted. The guy there also looked at it and told me that’s a great choice. I even showed him the video of the space at home for it. I signed and made the necessary transactions in hope of the items purchased. First they didn’t come when they said they would.🙄 my husband was there at home to receive the furniture. Turns out they sent a big old couch that took up the entire space of my sitting area. I had to cancel the order for the coffee table and the two side tables because I had no space for them!!! I was livid!!! So now the guy is saying that is what I signed off on!!! When clearly I pointed out the piece of furniture I wanted. He made the mistake on his computer!!!!!! Talking bout I signed to it! Yes I trusted you give me what I wanted!! Ashley I would never introduce anyone to Ashley furnishing!!!!!! And even if you decide to buy anything from them please pay keen attention over and over, because they will give you something you didn’t want, and tell you that once it’s in the house they are not gonna come for it. And to make it worst none of the two guys called me back to apologize or to find out if my issue was resolved! All they care about is the money. I really expected better from Ashley. Shame!!

They are stealing people's money. I purchased some items and cancel one of them. They never give me a refund, every time I called they said it was in the process. I almost forgot, maybe they are waiting for people to forget so they can steal money. Today I remember and called again and they said they will process it today. And also please look at the online price. They have a different price than online. They are waiting to steal your money in every way.

I found the service at Ashley to be exceptional. The interaction with the representative,Kanan,was amazing from the moment he offered his assistance when I entered the store to when he carefully placed some of the items I purchased into my friend's car. He was persistently professional,polite,caring, and patient. He was also very knowledgeable about the products and he exhibited a great sense of humor while providing the service. It was indeed a great shopping experience.

Cassy and Xavier were extremely helpful with my purchase. Cassy made sure to explain to me the benefits of getting a proper mattress, and she was very informative and genuine. Xavier definitely made sure to assist me with payment plans and to ensure I was able to get all the furniture I asked for. He also explained the payment plans to me in a way that was almost foolproof. Also, they were patient and took the time to understand how I wanted my apt to look. I showed them a video of my apt and they literally tried to figure out how the furniture will look in my Apt!

4ys ago I Purchased a sectional at Ashley. I also purchased the platinum warranty because I was told by Ashley employees it covers everything. Lies,lies. I put in a claim and all of a sudden the warranty changed. How does that happen. I do not recommend them to anyone. EVER
