Ashley furniture Yonkers has been a consistent place for me to buy furniture. They always have the best styles for a reasonable price point. Javon was extremely helpful and kind during this process and made returning to Ashley a pleasurable experience. He allowed for me to shop on my own while being knowledgeable in his craft. I will be a returning customer!

Just came down to help my friend with neck surgery for her couch delivery. They were not on time, and refused to remove old couches after the salesperson told the customer they would remove couches, while in the phone with their bldg mgmt. For a customer with VISIBLE NECK SURGERY Upon calling customer service, they offer no help other than to wait by the phone for the salesperson’s ( who’s already been paid) phone call.

Nice furniture with deceptive sales practices. The salesman offered 60 month interest free financing, which is a no-brainer in a finance sense. When we asked if we needed to sign up for the store credit card to access the financing, we were assured we did not. Then a few days later we received .... a new credit card in the mail. Very frustrating. (It didn't help that they entered the wrong date of birth for the cardholder, a mistake that had to be corrected through the issuing bank. Fun!) Earlier in the process we were debating between buying four or six chairs and decided on four, but the order was entered with six. Was this an honest mistake, or an "honest mistake"? No way to know of course, but combined with the other questionable practices, it's hard to discount the possibility that the "error" was intentional. The furniture itself is perfectly fine. Roughly what you would expect for the price. But given the overall experience, we are unlikely to be repeat customers.

Thanks to Jevon, my partner and I got our furniture for our new place. He’s understanding, friendly and very professional at the same time. What makes Jevon worth 5 stars, is that he works with customers! He’s happy to see customers happy. Thanks for hiring him!!!!

Had a great experience with Logan at the Yonkers Ashley on Central Avenue. Logan was extremely professional and very patient. I had been looking for a sectional sofa with a chaise. He took his time explaining the various options and styles. Although it took me several weeks to decide, Logan was helpful and knowledgeable. Best customer service ever. We had an issue with another Ashley location and we went to this location (Yonkers) to finally get the help we needed. The Yonkers store advocated for us and helped us to find what we needed. They were very professional and explained all the processes that went into our order. They also apologized for the horrendous behavior of the other Ashley location. If you need furniture, this is the location to go. Ask for Leon if you can, he is seriously a caring and detailed representative.

Great display floor, had a lot to show. Very welcoming staff who give you you’re space to view their furniture without hovering and harassing you on what it is you are looking for. Once I made my decision I was given payment options and informed on discounts. Got my sectional and absolutely LOVE IT. It’s nice and firm but not stiff, it’s cozy and beautiful. Love love love my sofas. I know they will last me a long time!

I got approved on Acima for $2,950. Went to the physical store to see what I can get for my home. The salesperson was cool and helpful. That was until we had to do the “Pre approval again.” I told her that Acima would lower the approval if we did it again. She told me it wouldn’t happen, Next thing you know the approval went down -50%. I’m more mad at the situation than anything else, Now I can’t purchase what I need. Customers if you get approved online just order online, Don’t go through the hassle I went through. I’ll take my business elsewhere but be aware that they will try the pre approval at the physical store and the approval will go down significantly.

The couch I chose was on backorder scheduled for 8 to 12 weeks out which I was OK with because it was replacing an existing couch. To my pleasant surprise, the couch was ready for delivery in less than four weeks! The two gentlemen, Riki and Christian, who were responsible for delivery and assembly were simply amazing and were in and out in about 20 minutes.

I had an amazing experience with Jennifer picking out new couches for my living room. Jennifer was knowledgeable and reliable. I was able to reach out to her even while at home to discuss the delivery of my new furniture. I can’t recommend her enough!

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service ever. While purchasing everything is GREAT. My husband and I spend $9,500 did not think twice about it, after so much money spend of course we would add their advertised warranty that “ covers ANYTHING “. I have 2 years attempting to have my couches fixed and nothing that is advertised is covered. After spending almost $2,000 ok couches you would think the warranty would kick in. Warranty company customer services are completely rude. Went into the store where NO ONE was able to help me just directed me to warranty company THEY ADVERTISE and work with and cannot help. I advise EVERYONE AND ANYONE. DO. NOT. SPEND. YOUR HARD ESRNED MONEY AT ASHLEYS FURNITURE. If you care about your money, your furniture go elsewhere. It’s so sad because I visited Bob’s Furniture and Raymond and Flanigan and didn’t purchase from them trusting Ashley’s furniture. NEVER AGAIN.

***ASHLEYS WARRANTY SCAM! **** TRUST ME, DO NOT BUY IT! THEY WILL NOT COVER YOUR CLAIM! Do not purchase their warranty! Their 5 year warranty is a scam… I purchased an entire sofa set and a 5 thousand dollar mattress and incline mattress frame. Everything together was around 8 thousand dollars. So of course. I purchased the $350.00 warranty. Needless to say, 4 1/2 years later, as I was adjusting the cushions, the zipper broke! No PROBLEM! Right? Wrong! I went to claim it, since it says mechanisms are covered. If you google mechanisms, a zipper sure does qualify. Guess what, it didn’t, to Ashley’s Standards, then they try to sell you on Tier 2 coverage. Which is… guess what? Another $100.00! Haha for a zipper that I can get fixed for 40 bucks at my local tailor. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! That was my second attempt to make a claim, they keep denying it. That was for a $40.00 zipper, do you really think they are going to cover something that is more serious!! P.s. they literally write “Good News!” Lmao. Give us another 100 bucks to fix this lmao!

He was incredibly friendly and provided us with thorough information, going the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our choice. Not happy at all when i first bought my sectional i was told if I bought warranty i would practically would be able to get mostly anything fixed or taken care of from the product and now that i want to raise my concern about my product im always getting transferred to so many places either over the phone and in person. Im honestly not happy with my product i wont buy there again.

Fiance and I went shopping for a new mattress. Logan immediately greeted us at the door and helped us try and figure out what kind of mattress was best for us both. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. I would recommend asking for Logan directly if you are looking to purchase a mattress anytime soon.

We’ve made two pretty major purchases with the Yonkers Ashley Furniture store now. We love the pieces we chose so much. They’ve really helped our house become our style when we didn’t know what that was until we looked around. The store service is really great if they give us breathing room to wander, talk and think. Sometimes they’re too aggressive in following us and asking what we’re looking for again and again when we really prefer to just experience how we feel when we see different pieces. We don’t want to be sold on ideas or directed toward things at least until we’ve narrowed it down. Once we’ve done that we’re more than happy to engage, get help and hear ideas.

I cant believe how wonderful the store manager, Terrance , and Valerie, the sales lady who helped me are .!! Wow wow wow ! !! Let me tell you my story i spent close to $3000 at Raymour & Flanngan NO ONE ASKED ME THE MEASUREMENTS Of MyDoor.I had to cancel my order. Came to Ashley Furniture on Central Ave in Yonkers and I will never go anywhere else again! Valerie knew everything about measuments help me pick a beautiful livingroom set and they have a service that will take it a part and put together ! I really love my new dining room set. I was fortunate to go through the sale at the Yonkers store where I found this incredible product that fits my apartment perfectly. The salespeople were very helpful in facilitating sale without being too pushy. The product got self assembled which was a huge relief. They also gave me the necessary time to inspect the product for damages and was able to confirm no damages.

I went to Ashely’s on Tuesday March 18th to go look at some mattresses with my partner. We were greeted by Aminah and told her what we were looking for but that we were not making any purchases that day being that we were exploring our options. She then asked me if i wanted to get PREQUALIFIED to see how much i can POSSIBLY GET PRE-APPROVED. I knew i was going to get approved because i’ve had a credit card with ashley’s (synchrony) back in 2020 with good history and good credit score. i asked her TWICE and she REASSURED ME TWICE that my credit wouldn’t be ran. Two weeks later (today) i receive a mail with a credit card to activate my card…. My partner went ahead and texted her because he took her information down in case we decided to come back and purchase. I’ve worked in sales before , I understand when people want to make a sale but lying to customers isn’t professional especially when it comes down to running people’s CREDIT. They should reconsider keeping her as an employee so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Recently I went to the Ashley Store at 340 Baychester Ave 2nd Floor, Bronx, NY 10475. I was served by Miss Belkis Girgenti, very rude when selling but very insistent when making a customer buy. I think you should give us some space to think about what really suits you. something I didn't like, when I told her to let me think about it, she ran the syncraycredit on me. She did in a very aggressive way to make the purchase, telling her I wasn't sure about doing it at that moment, that's why I left and in the end I didn't buy and it still affected me. In the end, and luckily, I went to the other Ashley Store at 2350 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710. There I did find what I was looking for. A very nice girl named Aminah helped me. She helped me with what I was looking for, gave me time to think and she helped me very well. I highly recomend

I purchased 3 pieces for my niece. Dining table, Dresser & sofa sleeper. The first delivery they couldn’t fit the sofa so I had to go back pay an extra $185. for it to come unassembled. Second, delivery they brought the wrong color. Went back to the store spoke to a manager who took care of me the 2nd time. I specifically said for the couch to come wrapped since it’s a light color sofa. Today, she got the delivery and it was unwrapped and a bit dirty. I am livid because this was noted on the system by the manager.Then they gave me 25% to make me happy and this happens. Still don’t see the credit either. The delivery guy was very nice & explained to my niece how to clean it. WHY when it was suppose to be wrapped it was a cream color. Lucky I was not at her house if not I would have made them take it back. Won’t be buying not even a plant from Ashley. Warehouse sucks. Super unhappy with how they delivered her sofa today. Poor thing this was the 3rd time so she was willing to clean it. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I will be going to the store because I want them to come and clean it.

From a former furniture sales person, I can honestly say I’m disappointed in giving Ashley’s a sale based on such a negative experience. I spoke with Josh an associate who helped us find a couch and after taking a day to look at other options we agreed on a couch. At the point of him talking about the delivery process, he skipped over important details regarding the delivery process and how to expect the couch to come. We had purchased a modular couch with a chaise attachment and explained our living situation. After receiving a quote and going to the showroom the following day, I was assisted by Aminah who also had assistance from a sales manager by the name of Patrick. Throughout my entire experience no one explained that the furniture would not come in pieces nor explained that I can request the couch to come disassembled for an additional cost. Despite getting approved for credit I still had to come out of pocket to pay for additional fees, and on the day of the delivery the delivery team could not fit the couch as it was. I was then forced to leave my brand new couch outside and wait for a 3rd party installer to come where I had to pay $300 cash for them to dissemble the couch and reassemble inside my home. After speaking to Josh he got unexpectedly cold with me explaining that there was nothing they could do and that if I had returned the couch I would have to pay additional fees despite 2 salespeople and a manager overlooking my order and failing to mention this. In my years of sales I’ve always been taught to be thorough during the sales process to prevent disappointment, yet clearly Ashley’s has a different approach and it’s disheartening to feel left in the dust once the sale is complete despite buying a brand new couch with warranty. I’ve been over promised and under delivered. If you are going to purchase anything from this company please be careful, as they will hide behind fine print and company policy despite the failures of the sales team

Mariano and Manager Ally are amazing. I did a return visit, after having purchased a few items three months ago. I was inquiring about a few items including one I had seen online but was unavailable. I was expressing my disappointment with the unavailable item, because it was part of a matching item to the one purchased last time and Ally upon hearing my comments jumped in and said she would try to look again but didn’t see it in stock. Within a few minutes of leaving the store, she called me back because she was able to locate the item and I couldn’t be happier. She cared enough to step in and help me, now that’s exceptional customer service!

bought a couch about 4 years ago, and got the warranty. be careful buying, the warranty does not cover seem damage, which is what happened to me. the build quality was also poor to begin with (missing a bracket for connecting the couch) and one of the arms wasn't put together correctly (both of which i dealt with)

No pressure. We did find a very nice compact sectional however since my daughter would be moving to the west coast we would need to do the sale there. I was sold what I believed were leather couches as well as a $400, 5 yrs protection plan that supposedly covered anything that would happen to the couches as long as I reported it as soon as it happened. My couches started peeling when I called the protection company I was told it does not cover it because my couches are faux leather. Now I am stuck with couches that are peeling and out of thousands of dollars no one will cover it.

If I could give NO star, I would. Do not buy the furniture protection plan. It is 100% false advertisement. A tech came out, claimed he can only spot clean (not noted anywhere on the contract that they spot clean only), and the tech said that I should put in a 2nd claim for the rest of the sofa to be cleaned. When putting in the 2nd claim which was to be a follow up to the 1st claim, I obviously used the original date of when I noticed damage on that 2nd claim (why would I use a different date on a follow up claim). Welp, per this service, it was past the 30 days of when the damage was done, per them. I guess they wanted me to lie about the date, or don't know what FOLLOW UP means, or perhaps they don't educate their workers who told me to send a 2nd claim to follow up with cleaning the rest of the sofa. End of day, I am paying 5 years of a service they they will not honor, gave false advertisement (stating they spot clean only whe not noted on my contract anywhere) and don't know the meaning of follow up. I am putting a complaint with the BBB and telling everyone I know to not buy from or use Ashley's service. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

Mike Torres of the Ashley Furniture Yonkers Store (Central Avenue) was an absolute gem to work with. I only went to window shop but decided to pull the trigger on making my purchase since I can schedule the delivery once my renovations are done. Mike took his time to show me what I asked to see and provided me with delivery details, pricing and sales items. He wasn’t hovering like a vulture but also remained present to help me through my purchase process. I found out that he has only been with the store a couple of weeks and told the manager they need ten more like him. He’s is the epitome of what customer service should be. Thanks Mike! 😊

We looked around at many different stores and came back to Ashley for two reasons: first because we really loved the sofas we saw and purchased. Secondly the real reason we absolutely loved our sales person Nani who not only took her time with us but is also so personable. She is very knowledgeable about Ashley products. We also were very impressed with Janicia who went out of her way to help us with finding the perfect mattress. Both these sales persons at Ashley Yonkers are very valuable to their customers.

All of this they took care of being leaving, and put my door back on truly appreciated their help and very hard work workers. Great guys so thankful.

I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley in 2020. The set is not even 4 years old. The bed rail where the rail meets the headboard, just cracked and the mattress went to the floor. Ashley furniture discontinued the set and dies not carry any replacement parts. They offered no solution. A BED should NOT break after 4 years. I have no children and no one is bouncing on the bed. Ashley offered no solution to this. How can you not carry parts for discontinued furniture.?? I will never buy from Ashley's again. They do t stand behind their products and don't even have replacements parts. Any bets on why this set was discontinued. I'd guess I'm not tge first person to have a problem with this bedroom set. Buyer beware.

I was shopping around for a mattress and adjustable base for my elderly mom. I was about to give up when I walked into Ashley’s on Central Avenue in Yonkers NY. I met Javier who was kind and eager to help find me the best affordable option. He introduce me to Prince who also was amazing and extremely knowledgeable for what I needed. This duo was amazing, I got exactly what I needed to meet my mothers needs and they were so helpful and caring. they treated my mom with the ultimate care. I could not have asked for a better experience. These two gentlemen made us feel like family. This was 5 star white glove service all the way. Ashley in Yonkers NY is thee best!!! Great selections, great showroom, great customer service! Manager Alexyz and salesperson Greg made everything sooo pleasant. Smiles walking in the door and continued from there. So much better than the BX. One thing that is MAJOR AWEFUL IS THE PLATINUM PROTECTION PLAN. You have to literally break your own merchandise by accident to get it repaired. Unbelievable! NEEDS to be CHANGED ASAP!!! THANK YOU ASHLEY YONKERS 💃🏽

My mother was in a need of some furniture to finish remodeling her apartment and I decided to bring her to this Ashley Homestore and I do not regret it. It was our first time at this store and we were warmly welcomed by Yolanda. She asked us what we were interested in, gave us a tour of the showroom and than let us search freely but remained close by incase we had any questions or needed to add anything we liked to our order. She answered all our questions and was extremely helpful with her suggestions. I did need a new matress but was unsure of which one was right for myself, so she introduced me to their sleep specialist Michael. He first sat down with us and asked how I would rate my sleep, if I had any soreness, how old was my current mattress and correlated that into the science of sleeping. He demonstrated a few options that would be great for myself and had me sold. My overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend to anyone as well as come back when I need furniture for my own place.

Central Ave location Kevin was a tremendous help, very informative and transparent. The other sales reps were also friendly and very welcoming.

I bought a couch around February of this year that I was hesitant about but the sales associate said that if I didn’t like it I could return it. Well what she didn’t state was that I had to return it the same moment the movers dropped it off. I tried so hard to exchange it but had no luck. Now I’ve had it for 8 months and still hate the couch with a passion. When I think about the amount of money I wasted over someone’s greed I only get more upset

Came in searching for a sofa/sectional that fit our new space. Kevin was amazing and helped sketch out the measurements of our living room to ensure it fit our needs. I was supposed to have a sofa delivered which was unsuccessful. I have called customer service and spoken to someone named Mary who was very rude and unprofessional. However, I was directed to call the store directly and once I have spoken to Wendy and Natalie I was very satisfied with how well they have worked with me to resolve my issue. I HIGHLY recommend asking to speak to either Natalie or Wendy if you need an issue resolved.

The worse store to make a purchase. After I got a credit for a bed that wasn’t defected I try going to the store to used the credit and no one would help me. When you call that store they hang up the phone on you. Michael Rosado one of the sales person he is very nice when he wants to make the sale . After the sale is completed if you are having any issues he treat you very differently but that’s only if you are of color because if you are white and look like you have money they are all in your face. This is the type of store and people they have working there
