I went to Ashley with my mom and two kids looking for mattress for 2 twin beds and a queen bed. Aminah was the very helpful, she showed us mattresses that were exactly what we were looking for. She was very courteous, she exceeded my expectations because she made my world easier by getting us the right Mattresses! My mom got herself a Tempurpedic something we have been searching for since her back has been giving her issues for a while so we are very content with our purchase and the results we will get from it! From a former furniture sales person, I can honestly say I’m disappointed in giving Ashley’s a sale based on such a negative experience. I spoke with Josh an associate who helped us find a couch and after taking a day to look at other options we agreed on a couch. At the point of him talking about the delivery process, he skipped over important details regarding the delivery process and how to expect the couch to come. We had purchased a modular couch with a chaise attachment and explained our living situation. After receiving a quote and going to the showroom the following day, I was assisted by Aminah who also had assistance from a sales manager by the name of Patrick. Throughout my entire experience no one explained that the furniture would not come in pieces nor explained that I can request the couch to come disassembled for an additional cost. Despite getting approved for credit I still had to come out of pocket to pay for additional fees, and on the day of the delivery the delivery team could not fit the couch as it was. I was then forced to leave my brand new couch outside and wait for a 3rd party installer to come where I had to pay $300 cash for them to dissemble the couch and reassemble inside my home. After speaking to Josh he got unexpectedly cold with me explaining that there was nothing they could do and that if I had returned the couch I would have to pay additional fees despite 2 salespeople and a manager overlooking my order and failing to mention this. In my years of sales I’ve always been taught to be thorough during the sales process to prevent disappointment, yet clearly Ashley’s has a different approach and it’s disheartening to feel left in the dust once the sale is complete despite buying a brand new couch with warranty. I’ve been over promised and under delivered. If you are going to purchase anything from this company please be careful, as they will hide behind fine print and company policy despite the failures of the sales team
My husband and I have been coming to this Ashley in Central Avenue for a few years, and even though we window shop at competitors we always make our final sale here. This store has the best customer service and latest styles. Josh, Alex, Nelson Val and Teddy are amazing ! They make you feel welcomed address all questions and make good recommendations.

bought a couch about 4 years ago, and got the warranty. be careful buying, the warranty does not cover seem damage, which is what happened to me. the build quality was also poor to begin with (missing a bracket for connecting the couch) and one of the arms wasn't put together correctly (both of which i dealt with)

This is our second time purchasing here and every time has been beyond a great and stress free experience. Terrance was wonderful. Had so much patience and had a smile on his face the whole time. I was greated by Aminah and immediately she catered to my needs. I initially went in to see a dinning table and I ended up with a couch too! The floor manager Alexis is AMAZING aswell. They were both sooo patient with my needs and with my daughter who kept running around. Aminah was very informative and very detailed with the services and products they offer. Alexis was so patient showing me different ways to set the couch. It was overall an AMAZING hands down experience. They both gave me their personal numbers and I am still in touch with both. Alexis was so helpful because turns out my couch set didnt fit as I liked after I went home and measured BUT she managed to text and show me different ways the couch can be set up and we came up with a perfect fit. She modified my order and delivery was as expected, and the best part is they both respond super quick!! MUST go and ask for Aminah and if in doubt of dimensions, looks, etc ask for Alexis you will not regret the experience. Thank you ladies!!!

Patrick Rosario at the Yonkers Ashley was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We were greeted and asked what we were there for, he directed us and said he would check back with us. No pressure. We did find a very nice compact sectional however since my daughter would be moving to the west coast we would need to do the sale there. Patrick was very understanding and we felt we needed to let people know how well he treated us as customers.

I was sold what I believed were leather couches as well as a $400, 5 yrs protection plan that supposedly covered anything that would happen to the couches as long as I reported it as soon as it happened. My couches started peeling when I called the protection company I was told it does not cover it because my couches are faux leather. Now I am stuck with couches that are peeling and out of thousands of dollars no one will cover it.

If I could give NO star, I would. Do not buy the furniture protection plan. It is 100% false advertisement. A tech came out, claimed he can only spot clean (not noted anywhere on the contract that they spot clean only), and the tech said that I should put in a 2nd claim for the rest of the sofa to be cleaned. When putting in the 2nd claim which was to be a follow up to the 1st claim, I obviously used the original date of when I noticed damage on that 2nd claim (why would I use a different date on a follow up claim). Welp, per this service, it was past the 30 days of when the damage was done, per them. I guess they wanted me to lie about the date, or don't know what FOLLOW UP means, or perhaps they don't educate their workers who told me to send a 2nd claim to follow up with cleaning the rest of the sofa. End of day, I am paying 5 years of a service they they will not honor, gave false advertisement (stating they spot clean only whe not noted on my contract anywhere) and don't know the meaning of follow up. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.... I WILL NEVER BE BACK. My family and I spent thousands on furniture here. We purchased both indoor and outdoor furniture. We were told that we were not able to purchase a warranty on the exterior set because it was a floor model and we were purchasing it as is. Okay understood... we went ahead and purchased the warranty for everything else. Well of course a chipmunk put a hole in one of the cushions. I've tried EVERYTHING to replace this one cushion... and everyone at the store and through headquarters can't help me because we don't have a warranty. I'm not asking for a free cushion..... I will purchase it.... But they said I would have to buy a new couch as well in order to get the cushion. How does this make any sense at all when all I need is one cushion?????? Come to find out.... I should have been able to purchase the warranty (in which we asked for).... The salesman on the floor was wrong & now WE (the customer) are screwed. Everyone I talked to said that they can only help me if I had a warranty ... there is nothing that they can do.This is wrong in So Many ways, since we asked for the warranty and were told that we couldn't get one. (Which of course the salesman was wrong).I WILL NEVER BE BACK..... This is So Wrong.
The customer service experience we received from Kevin Suarez on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Ashley Homestore Store number 016 was phenomenal. From the time we walked through the door we were greeted by Kevin who had a pleasant smile and a friendly demeanor. He did not charge at us as soon as we walked in, which we experienced at most stores which could be quite distressing. Kevin's customer service skills was exceptional, he was patient, professional, walked us throughout the store and made sure we were satisfied with the products we were purchasing We had questions, and Kevin was very knowledgeable about every Ashley furniture product, he took the time to explain the benefits of each sofa, mattress, and electronic mattress base we tested, . He went above and beyond to show us how to use the electronic features, explaining the ergonomic qualities for each furniture product. Overall, our experience with Ashley Homestore was outstanding due to Kevin's willingness to go the extra mile for us which is deeply appreciated. Thank you, -June S Marie

Mike Torres of the Ashley Furniture Yonkers Store (Central Avenue) was an absolute gem to work with. I only went to window shop but decided to pull the trigger on making my purchase since I can schedule the delivery once my renovations are done. Mike took his time to show me what I asked to see and provided me with delivery details, pricing and sales items. He wasn’t hovering like a vulture but also remained present to help me through my purchase process. I found out that he has only been with the store a couple of weeks and told the manager they need ten more like him. He’s is the epitome of what customer service should be. Thanks Mike! 😊
We looked around at many different stores and came back to Ashley for two reasons: first because we really loved the sofas we saw and purchased. Secondly the real reason we absolutely loved our sales person Nani who not only took her time with us but is also so personable. She is very knowledgeable about Ashley products. We also were very impressed with Janicia who went out of her way to help us with finding the perfect mattress. Both these sales persons at Ashley Yonkers are very valuable to their customers.
Kevin was super helpful in getting us sorted with our new couch. He went over all the details with us, and even carried a cushion outside so we could see what it looked like in natural light. He made the purchasing process easy and we felt confident in our decision.

All the delivery men were very helpful, respectful, and call to let me know when they were on the to my home. Being that I live in a older home my chaise to the couch couldn't come thru my door way the work hard to try to get it to fit by going the extra mile and taking the door off. Once that wouldn't work they offered me for the chaise to go back to the warehouse to be broken down. All of this they took care of being leaving, and put my door back on truly appreciated their help and very hard work workers. Great guys so thankful.

I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley in 2020. The set is not even 4 years old. The bed rail where the rail meets the headboard, just cracked and the mattress went to the floor. Ashley furniture discontinued the set and dies not carry any replacement parts. They offered no solution. A BED should NOT break after 4 years. I have no children and no one is bouncing on the bed. Ashley offered no solution to this. How can you not carry parts for discontinued furniture.?? I will never buy from Ashley's again. They do t stand behind their products and don't even have replacements parts. Any bets on why this set was discontinued. I'd guess I'm not tge first person to have a problem with this bedroom set. Buyer beware.

My wife and I just purchased a beautiful leather couch that we’ve been searching for months all thanks to Teddy. Teddy was professional through and through, super helpful not only by knowing the details of the product but also going above and beyond by moving pieces around to ensure we got what we wanted. A key component that made this process more enjoyable was that Teddy did not force sell - his very relaxed approach made us feel like we could trust and rely on his expertise. 10/10 experience - would go straight to Teddy for any other purchases.

Bought Furniture, spent a couple of thousand, was told that if I got the service protection anything goes wrong, it will be replaced... No.. not true at all. Furniture is peeling on normal use, but due too the type of textile used, I do not qualify. However, if I ripped my furniture it would be covered. Makes no sense.. So received no help with the warranty. Reached out to Ashley customer service, who tried seeing if the company would stand by their product, that is a NO. I wrote out a review of the company, and Ashley reaches out, to show they reach out. I responded to them its now more than a week since my reply and they left me hanging. Unless you are buying a brand name like their mattresses. I urge you Caveat Emptor

Stay away from this company! They have no integrity. They refuse to live up to an extended warranty that I purchased from them to protect a $2700 bed. 4 months after I purchased the Sealy bed and base from them, the motor stopped working. They refused to even come out and check on the problem even though I purchased this "worry-free" protection from them! A Shady business!!

I had first called and I spoke with Kevin. I wanted to know if certain bedroom sets were on display in the Yonkers store. He was so helpful-I had 7 sets that I was interested in and he checked and if it wasn’t on display in his store, he checked which store it was on display in. Bedroom Set was for my 95 year old mother. She was having trouble getting into her old bed (too high). Kevin went above and beyond in helping us out. Measuring mattresses and box springs. He is very personable and makes you feel like you’ve known him forever. Actually most of the staff that were there that day were all friendly and helpful.

Ashley in Yonkers NY is thee best!!! Great selections, great showroom, great customer service! Manager Alexyz and salesperson Greg made everything sooo pleasant. Smiles walking in the door and continued from there. So much better than the BX. One thing that is MAJOR AWEFUL IS THE PLATINUM PROTECTION PLAN. You have to literally break your own merchandise by accident to get it repaired. Unbelievable! NEEDS to be CHANGED ASAP!!! THANK YOU ASHLEY YONKERS 💃🏽

My mother was in a need of some furniture to finish remodeling her apartment and I decided to bring her to this Ashley Homestore and I do not regret it. It was our first time at this store and we were warmly welcomed by Yolanda. She asked us what we were interested in, gave us a tour of the showroom and than let us search freely but remained close by incase we had any questions or needed to add anything we liked to our order. She answered all our questions and was extremely helpful with her suggestions. I did need a new matress but was unsure of which one was right for myself, so she introduced me to their sleep specialist Michael. He first sat down with us and asked how I would rate my sleep, if I had any soreness, how old was my current mattress and correlated that into the science of sleeping. He demonstrated a few options that would be great for myself and had me sold. My overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend to anyone as well as come back when I need furniture for my own place.

I bought a couch around February of this year that I was hesitant about but the sales associate said that if I didn’t like it I could return it. Well what she didn’t state was that I had to return it the same moment the movers dropped it off. I tried so hard to exchange it but had no luck. Now I’ve had it for 8 months and still hate the couch with a passion. When I think about the amount of money I wasted over someone’s greed I only get more upset

I was supposed to have a sofa delivered which was unsuccessful. I have called customer service and spoken to someone named Mary who was very rude and unprofessional. However, I was directed to call the store directly and once I have spoken to Wendy and Natalie I was very satisfied with how well they have worked with me to resolve my issue. I HIGHLY recommend asking to speak to either Natalie or Wendy if you need an issue resolved.

The worse store to make a purchase. After I got a credit for a bed that wasn’t defected I try going to the store to used the credit and no one would help me. When you call that store they hang up the phone on you. Michael Rosado one of the sales person he is very nice when he wants to make the sale . After the sale is completed if you are having any issues he treat you very differently but that’s only if you are of color because if you are white and look like you have money they are all in your face. This is the type of store and people they have working there

The staff is amazing at this location but my salesperson, Kevin, was amazing he gave me the space to browse. However that’s not what sold me, it was that he overheard me say I wanted a mattress and what kind of budget I had and he gave me 2 amazing suggestions under budget. I was not told the return/exchange policy and was originally charged $500 more and never informed the prices are different. I’m not happy with the couch but stuck with it. I should be able to exchange or return within 30 days. You can return most thing within 30 days!

We’ve had nothing but problems with the sofa we purchased from Ashley. So far technicians have been sent three times. Twice they’ve had to replace parts. The sofa is still not reclining correctly and the only offer is to keep sending technicians. It’s clear the sofa won’t be fixed and we feel duped that we’re not able to get a refund. The first complaint came after living with the sofa for 2 weeks. It’s been almost a year of complaining now. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. Quality is terrible and not worth the money they charge.

I have purchased sofa that came in bad condition. After i complained their technician confirmed that the mistake is by manufacturer and that we will get a new replacement. They tried to replace it twice, meaning I tried 3 different sofas of a same design and they were all in a bad condition, producing a bad sound. Ashely's manager said that they can 't return me my money and that they will instead give me a store credit, pushing me to spend my time and money again in the same store and that I will have to pay for a delivery fee again. So Ashley is selling defected furniture and pushing their customers to pay for that defected furniture. They first offered 15% back ,then they said the only thing they can do is take the furniture back and give me store credit so they basically are pushing you to spend money at at their store though they are delivering DEFECTED furniture, Do not buy at Ashley. IKEA is way better.

Terrible customer service. Delivery was made incomplete. Scheduled to complete the delivery and that date came and went. Was told because it was not a new delivery that there was a credit hold or some nonsense so that hold wasn’t removed in time. Then asked to have the issue rectified in a timely fashion so we would not have to reschedule our movers. Said nothing could be done because the routes for the next couple of days were already booked

BEWARE!!! Do not purchase the extended warranty on any piece of furniture you buy from Ashley. It is a SCAM. Number 1, They make it extremely complicated and it takes weeks to get a resolution to any problem with the furniture. All the work must be done on your end, the company that runs the extended warranty program is USELESS. Number 2, once you get a decision to replace the furniture, you have to pay to AGAIN have delivered and AGAIN for a NEW extended warranty. Our table was less than 6 months old. It cracked on the top of a screw that the INSTALLERS screwed in too tight. We had to go into the store, pay for another delivery fee and pay for another extended warranty. We bought the extended warranty knowing Ashley furniture DOES NOT have the best track record. But nowhere in the limited paperwork that they give you does it say all of the charges you will incur to get your furniture replaced. I will never spend another dime with ASHLEY (after already made the mistake of spending over $12,000). You shouldn't waste your money either. ZERO STARS.

If I could give Factory Direct Enterprise Ashley Home Store a ZERO I would. I visited the branch a few months ago because I wanted to purchase a mattress. I dealt with Valarie Cope and explained to her that currently my old mattress is sagging. Beds in the showroom have been broken into due to the amount of people testing them out. Everyone knows if you choose something you may not receive the exact feeling but should be close enough because it brand new. I spent alot of money on this mattress and kept receiving back pain. A few weeks later I visited the store and explained to them that the mattress I recieve could never be correct and to this day I have been getting the run around. The supervisor at the time gave me a blank stare and told me to hold on a minute and return with a number to call customer service. I called on their phone while I was in the store while they dealt with other customers like i didn't existed. Technician were sent to my home twice. The first took a picture of the barcode on mattress because I was able to lift the bed on my own and a few other pictures. The second come in didn't have the tools he needed and asked me if I had a cord or wire to see if there was indentation. Everything they asked me to do I did. My though were It would be impossible for a brand new mattress have indentation and that wasnt the issue I was having. It's the constant back and forth and some of the customer service representative in New Jersey needs addition service training. I have dealt with so much pain in the past few months and I decided to write my review today because enough is enough. All I needed was an exchange etc. Please beware you may or will deal the same issue. I would never every recommend this Factory direct enterprise Ashley home store.

First time shopping there, the sales rep was very polite and knowledgeable about the product I purchased. I'm going to give some time for my product to see how the wear and tear takes effect. If it holds out I'll definitely be returning to that location to purchase future items.

February 2023 Prince Woodbury was aware and attentive upon me walking into the door. He took care and concern with my interest and needs. He asked for pictures to get clarity, showed various items and i decided and purchased my ottoman. Ive been searching for 9 months but with Prince patience and professionalism i was able to decide and excited about my upcoming delivery. THANK YOU April 2023 I was at Ashley Yonkers 2 months ago and the service was so good, i returned on Monday and had Meghan who was extremely patient, explained everything and supported in helping me make a decision on my new dining room set. I returned Thursday afterwork and had the pleasure of working with Prince Woodbury again, hos professionalism and patience as i made my final decision was great.
Our sales assistant Prince was incredible. My mother is deaf and she has recently had surgery on her neck. Prince went out of his way to make sure my mother was able to clearly understand him when he spoke. He also helped her find the perfect mattress for her which was not an easy task since she is in a neck brace at this time. His dedication to helping her find the right product for her and his compassion make us eager to come back to purchase our other furniture needs with Ashley Furniture.

This was my first time in Ashely Furniture, as well as my first purchase. My experience was amazing and smooth. Great customer service Roy was awesome. Yes it’s a little expensive but, worth it because of quality. Thank you so much. Update: delivery was great. They came early in the morning and took them less than an hour to assemble everything. Thank you again Ashley Furniture Update 2024 I tried to use the 5yr warranty I got with my purchase they declined my claim because I moved and the moving company did something to my bed. At the end of the day this is why we pay for a warranty. Warning don’t buy it they find any reason to deny you.

Ashley has wonderful customer service. I had an issue with some items and my problems were resolved very quickly. Also the delivery was scheduled and arrived with a wonderful delivery crew.

One item came torn and was sent back now keep being promised delivery and and the day we are supposed to get a time for delivery they say it’s not in stock again. Feel like I will never get it. Not fair to do to a customer especially when you have paid in full and delivery. Also the delivery service scratched our front door. Do yourselves a favor and get furniture elsewhere. This store defiantly taking advantage of people that don’t have a lot of money!
This was our first time at Ashley. It won't be the last. Megan helped us with our purchase and she was wonderful. Her patience was unending. Each time we went in she always had a big smile and a warm welcome. There was one chair I was uncertain about and she kept trying until she found one that was perfect. I will never again shop with Ashley furnitures. Hands down the worst purchase I have ever made. The wrong item was delivered 3.5 months ago. Finally after months of going back and forth I was able to speak with a general manager who approved a partial order of my bed and couch while I wait for the bedroom set. There were also a laundry list of other issue like scratched/ stained items delivered, items delivered when they weren’t supposed to be, dinging up walls, getting stuck on my front lawn and destroying the grass, canceling my delivery date after I had already taken off of work. Nothing but problems. It pains me that I gave these people my money.
Furniture arrived late missing pieces so we had to wait even longer for the complete bedroom set. Dresser was dirty with spider webs. The wood in the bed frame had a very strong nasty odor that's proving to be impossible to completely remove. After spending thousands of dollars here all customer service could do was $100 off. A sad and disappointing experience...
James was great. He got us a great deal on our bedroom and dining room sets and sectionals, and is having them all delivered and assembled within just over a week.

Ashley Furniture. Your delivery policy in fine print for a 6:30 am is laughable. Your team’s customer service is subpar and your Fairfield, NJ team gets an F across the board. As a loyal Ashley customer with an Ashley account, you just cancelled a $2500 sale with no remorse and lost another sale from me this weekend. I will now gladly take all of my business across the lot to Raymour & Flanigan.

Items were delivered with scratches, chips, and damages. The process to “rectify” issues is tedious. First, you can’t reach the actual store by phone at all. You have to speak to a rep from the company. They had to open a service order for which they requested pictures for their review. Now I am waiting for them to figure it out with damaged furniture in my home. Terrible service. TERRIBLE experience. ALSO, somehow there was a mix-up and I ended up receiving the wrong chair. They refused to find a suitable solution because they don’t have a return policy. The only option they gave me is store credit, minus $200 for a “disposal” fee for them to pick it up from my home. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN.

I followed up with her and went straight to her when I was ready to purchase. That checkout process had to have been less than 20mins. It was so quick but it was so friendly and engaging. Posted on behalf of my mother Florence Lawless. In May I purchased a couch from Ashley. Worst day of my life. In the store couch was very firm. I am 72 and have back trouble. Paid over 3 thousand dollars. Couch cushions began to sink. Contacted Ashley in August. They wanted pictures of the couch. I sent pictures. They contacted me on Sept 6th saying they did not receive the pictures can I resend. That was from Neal. Took them close to 2 weeks to get back to me. Oct 8 Th they sent email they would order new cushions. I called in December as I hadn't heard anything. They apologized and said order hadn't been placed. Ask for a supervisor call back. Never received one. Jan 25th they said parts were shipped. The only thing I received was the cover. I called again. The ladsaid the technician would bring the cushion. I said are you sure she said yes.,Well I don't have to tell you he came and had no cushions. He explained that the cushions are sent beforehand. He said no worries he would put in the order for cushions to come with the cover on. There were two cushions sinking at this point. Well needless to say it didn't happen that way. They delivered cushions no cover. I called to have someone come out. The lady said we don't do that. You have to put the covers on. I told her to put me on hold and speak to her supervisor. You are coming out here. She came back to phone and said they would come out. By this time all cushions needed replacement. Technician comes out. He was here for over 2hours. While putting cover on chaise zipper broke. We used old cover that zipper broke two. The other cushions fine at first. However the cover started turning in and now sinks too. The technician told me they will send another cushion with the cover on. Well you know that never happened. In between this I had multiple strokes. Stress. Covers arrived. They called to make appointment to bring cushion. Had to wait until I was out of hospital. On April 16th they came. Barely spoke English which wouldn't have been a problem if I could speak Spanish. Well they put the cover on the chaise. Took them 10 minutes. Needless to say it was not done correctly. Took the last technician 2 hours. I told him it wasn't on right, he told me it was. I told him to get out. He wouldn't leave until I signed. Said he had to call office. With that the office calls me. She asked how my service call was. Told her terrible. While telling hercwhat happened she hung up. How do I know? If we were disconnected she would have called back. I called back. Ashley answered. I told her what happened. She said let me check your records. Gave her sll the information and told her to ask who was just speaking to me as they are all in same office. I was on hold 20 minutes. Someone pick up and disconnected me. By this time I'm in tears. Thought I would have another stroke.Called back again. Jean assured me a supervisor would call me back. At this point I was hysterically crying. This was April 16th.It is now April 27th no one has called. I'm still paying for a couch that is useless. I know they are waiting for warranty to run out. I cannot get up from this couch. I will never ever buy from Ashley again. I suggest you don't either. I have pictures to prove what I have said. Oh by the way my chaise is not on properly and its a different color . Well here is the continuation of Ashley and why you never buy there. After posting my complaint last time a very nice man reached out. He listened to all I had to say. He said "He likes solving problems". So he offered 275.00 to leave as is. 2nd option he would replace cushions and ordered a new cover for chaise. I took 2nd option. The cushions arrived and they were covered. Cover arrived and Duran made an appointment for Saturday 5-14. He explained he was off until following Tuesday 5-17 and he would call to see how everything went. Bought a sofa on Apr 10th. Delivery was scheduled on Apr 29th, called a few days before the delivery date and a new delivery window came up. Scheduled a new date, the sofa was delivered on time, in fact it was delivered 50 minutes early which is a plus. Couldn’t be more happier! The sofa’s price as well as the delivery fee are beyond reasonable considering the size of the sofa. Will definitely come back.

When I walked into the store I was direct with the sales person and said I went to every furniture store on Central Avenue and I was looking for furniture in stock I could have delivered right away. She went on her pad and showed me a few pieces. I came back with my daughter and again was told the couch and two chairs were in stock and we could have it delivered March 8 I called on March 7 to check on coi and confirm To be told the there was no delivery scheduled for March 8 I've received nothing but a run around and last was told the furniture is not in stock and I could receive it by the end cb of the month Im still waiting on a call back from management.
3/16 UPDATE: Emailed Ashley 3/7, as they suggested and still haven't heard back. So I just purchased a $300 topper from Wayfair. Delivs this weekend. Wish me luck! From the moment I laid my 125-pound body on this twin-sized mattress at home, I felt the center caving in, ever so slightly, but enough to disrupt my sleep. What's weird is that the edges are rock hard, in contrast. Actually, this entire mattress is probably as firm as I would expect from a table in a morgue. In other words, not what I experienced at the store. I have bulked it up with a feather bed topper and a padded mattress cover; not much help. It's been more than a year so I contacted Ashley. They sent out an inspector-of-sorts and he told me that I would hear from the office but the bed would have to cave in much deeper, 2.5" to be exact, for this mattress to be considered having a manufacturing defect. 2.5"?!? I was hoping Ashley would consider negotiating a solution like throwing in a thicker topper but the message was simply, "the claim was now considered closed." So I'm running out to spend more money to try to make this mattress work. Bottom line: For a comfortable night's sleep to be guaranteed, one probably needs to spend more than $450 for a mattress. Finally, don't be fooled by the beauty and texture of the mattress. Just like, don't judge a book by its cover.

Being an assistant manager at work has given me more of an insight of how I’d like to be treated as a customer. Jarvis, from the Yonkers location, was amazing from the moment I walked into the store. He walked me through every step of them process and gave amazing recommendations. I came back to the store twice before making a decision and both times I dealt with him, he was very patient with me. He also made sure I got the best pricing and deal available.
The store is very nice and the staff are very welcoming. Megan was so helpful and made the entire process of buying a new bedroom set so easy.
Valrie was extremely helpful and works with you to find the best furniture for your home. She takes her time and does not rush you to make a decision. I am very pleased with my experience at this Ashley’s.

Folks are really nice and courteous. They are not pushing like other stores to try and make a sale. They will even allow you time to make the right decision on your purchase even if you want to go and check out another store. They also do price match.

I purchased a dresser recently but unfortunately I had to return it when it was delivered. The staff were apologetic and processed a refund quickly for me.
Overall great experience. From Scott my salesman, to the delivery men, A+++. Through no fault of there’s it took 2 1/2 months for delivery but that was because of the supply chain issues but it was worth the wait. Would go back to them in a heartbeat!

In this store you will find products of excellent quality, contemporary. the service was excellent it is a bit expensive but it is worth it for the products you can buy.
Salespeople were helpful but not super professional. While I was there my sales person fought with/yelled across the store to other sales people on - 1 how the other person had ruined their sales last quarter, 2 who had to help me get my floor model in my car, 3 what the process was to complete my paperwork and 4 what the return policy was on floor models. Nice furniture at okay prices, but very weird staff.
Professional associate (Nick) helped us in selecting our items. He gave us as much time as we wanted and didn’t pressure us at all (he was just available whenever we needed him and let us explore on our own afterwards). It was the easiest decision for us (and the prices were reasonable, too).

After some very stressful weeks due to flood damage to my apt. and countless unsuccessful hours searching online for furniture that would deliver quickly, I finally decided to go to a store. I went to Ashley’s in Yonkers and I was greeted by Nick. He asked a few questions, made some suggestions and then gave us space to shop. Once we made a decision, he made the purchasing process really easy and four days later we received our new couches. The delivery guys were also great. They arrived in time and set everything at the blink of an eye. I’m very happy that I went to this store.

My husband and I came to Ashley’s today and the customer service was phenomenal! He came in before me to check out a few options knowing I am super picky. I came back with him and the help we had from Dinorah and Amy was awesome. They knew what they were talking about and didn’t try to up sell us! They listened to what we wanted and showed compassion for our concerns towards our dogs scratching the wrong fabric. We spent a little more money just because of their knowledge and expertise. I truly recommend going to this location… especially since I’ve been to so many other stores and this one was the happiest and fastest I’ve ever been to! I had an overall positive experience with this store. I purchased my new sectional couch from here. On the day of the delivery it was challenging to get the couch into my apartment however the delivery men were very persistent. They were able to eventually get the couch in my apartment :)

Absolutely horrendous. I placed an order for a sectional over a month ago. The delivery was delayed by a week. Once it finally arrived, the delivery crew was unable to get the the entire sectional my apartment. They ended up leaving the half of the sectional that they were able to fit. I called back the Yonkers store to figure out how to move forward in getting the second half of the sofa delivered to my apartment. I was unable to get through to the Yonkers store and the phone line rang continuously before disconnecting. This happened over a dozen times. Finally, a manager from the store contacted me several hours later and said that he would try to rectify the situation. After that conversation, I received no communication from either the store or the manager. The manager will not take my calls and neither will the store. Long story short: If you're looking for a store that will put in minimal effort throughout the entire ordering and delivery process before leaving you out to dry and flat out ignoring you, this is the place to go.
We had an awesome experience in this store. We came to look for a dinning table and we left with purchasing a beautiful one. I place an order with Ashley Furniture in Yonkers on February 2021 and we are in September 2021 and they still giving me the run around with the bed room set. It’s been by far one of the worst experience that I ever had buying furniture. When you go to the Store the Management always tells you will send email to the main office and warehouse but I have never seen nothing different. We have been calling and the delivery date have been change multiple times. Definitely won’t recommend Ashley Furniture to no one.
Keisha was a marvelous representative at the Ashley on Central Ave. We are moving into our first apartment and needed bed, mattress, couch, the works! We had no idea what we wanted until Keisha took us under her wing and led us through the entire store like it was a ride at Universal Studios. Honestly, I didn't think it would be so much fun! Keisha was polite and professional, she got to know us and used that to help us determine our preferences. She made all these decisions easy and fun to boot! The Good: Showroom was nice, the staff were pleasant, and ordering my sofa was a piece of cake. The Bad: Pushy insurance policy for couch stains which I suspect is a total scam. The Ugly: Delayed delivery of my couch for two months and didn't respond to my inquiries for updates. I called today and they told me it'd be another month. I demanded immediate cancelation and refund and the associate I called was unable to do so. I will not be shopping at Ashley Homestore in the future and I'll be complaining about this until my friends beg me to talk about anything else. Update: pursued and recieved refund through the bank after Ashley Homestore missed refund windows twice. Total scam!

I'm currently dealing with fraud committed by this store review has been updated due to the current situation and criminal behavior from Ashley homestore. Don't shop here they lie about available inventory as well as numerous other issues like attempting to cancel a credit for damaged goods because they've failed to deliver the item they sold me.. crazy right. Also don't trust the sales manager Scott. He's a flat out liar. Purchased an item in June and was told we'd have deliver within 30 days. 30 days came and went. We reached out were told it would be delivering the first week of sept.. that comes and goes we call back and are told 1st week of October... we called recently to see when they are delivering and store manager Austin told us the first week of november.. we'll after the call about the canceled credit we ended up speaking to the operations manager at corporate in Edison.. yikes seems austin lied now find out this item won't be in stock until April 2022. Austin is a liar he will lie to your face and have absolutely no issue with it all they care about is if they made the sale the day your there.. however what Austin didn't realize is we took snap shots of all of our chats with him ... yikes so I have the record of the dates he lied about. Better business bureau and consumer protection were both contacted and have opened up cases. Any positive review you see on here likely hasn't passed their delivery window yet or hasn't thought to come back to update it. Don't shop here. Also if you're going to reply to this review Austin try not using a boiler plate reply like you have on all the others. Speaks volumes that you can't even take the time to write out a reply that just doesn't insert someone's name. Gross. Kicker is until we were notified about this I was all set to order about 16k in items for our first home we are buying.. not anymore. I really had a good opinion about the store until I realized the ownership operates like this.

This particular Ashley is not worth going to. I usually go to the Ashley in New Rochelle,, but because we ate at BBQ, we thought easier. Big mistake.

The staff at this location is nice BUT the quality of the items and the customer service after you have paid for your furniture is beyond terrible. They will not help you , replace or repair anything EVEN with the extra protection plan. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and corporate. This store is a ripoff

This is the worst experience I had ever gone through making a purchase. Back in December 29,2020 I made a purchase for a couch that according to the seller was on back order and it was going to be available by the end of January 2021 as they assure us me and my wife agreed to purchase the couch and a set of tables for the living room area. Comes January nothing they did not had the decency to called us the second week of February I called to find out what is going on they tell me since there was a snow storm at that time deliveries were delayed but the item should be delivered the first week of March. March come by and on March 13 I called back again they told me that due to Covid now the item was not even at the warehouse after they assure me it was going to be delivered on March now on March they tell me that they don’t have even have the item in stock that they are waiting for a delivery to come in that 100 percent on April will be there and the 2 week of April they will deliver the order April come and go on April 29 I go to the store without any remorse they tell me that sorry they don’t have the item that it is looking at 6 or 9 months before they get the order if they can get the item at that point I went ballistic I just had enough I told them to just refund me the order because it was outrageous. The person pretended to cancel the order because until this time I am fighting to get my money back it is already May 6 this thief’s that is the only way I can called them they still claim that they have an issue with the credit card and they can’t proceed The credit back to my account I keep calling them and every time they give me a BS story and that they are just waiting for accounting to issue the return issue is that I made partial cash and partial cc payment and I know that if I contact my bank they will just credit my card money and never send me the check for the cash. Be aware this store is the worst and I will never buy anything from them ever again

Just left this rag of a store. The sales woman didn’t deem our product want a big enough potential commission, so she abandoned us. We went up to the 2nd floor. She said she’d be right up but never came. After waiting 10 mins, we went back down and she was sitting at a table chewing gum and doing her nails. When I thanked her sarcastically for her help, she rolled her eyes.

I walked into Ashley in Yonkers after having two less than great furniture shopping experiences at two other stores. I was in a less than wonderful mood to say the least. Then I met Natalie J. She spent quite some time with me showing around the two floor showrooms and knew almost instinctively what I liked and needed. It was a great experience. Her manager (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten) was also amazing. I cannot say better things and I went back a second time to finish furnishing my apartment.

So, I do not normally make reviews but this time I feel obligated. This store, compared to the many Ashley stores that my family and I have visited is what I imagine is the company's Gold Standard. I have been to this location 3 times within the last 6 months, buying furniture that was ruined from a house fire we recently had and the store manager Denora (forgive me if I misspell your name) has been an absolute star. Most times managers are not excited to make sales, but Denora does not care. She will never make you feel pressured, respect your budget, she knows how to problem solve, how to offer you flexible buying options that do not ruin your credit. She is knowledgeable about every piece in the store. Not only is Denora a star but the team as well, particularly Natalie and Tia! Natalie spent a generous amount of time with my father who can be hard to please and she explained everything and how to care for a mattress that he was investing a lot of money in. Tia was so sweet and caring. The whole team at this store is great. The store is well designed compared to other locations we have visited, making it hard not to love all the furniture. You will easily want to redecorate your whole home especially with the help of any of these team members.

I'm old school so going to the store was a prerequisite, bottom line. Their selection is great and the price range is alleviating for working professionals; the ability to do a layaway purchase only sweetened the deal! I'll end by saying that you'll be happy with the final product and how it looks in your home. ;-)
Bad experience, ruined my day. I was super excited to see the collection when I was stopped at the door and asked for an appointment and there was a cap on how many people they could have while 4 others walked right past me into open greetings. By the time I left, still no greeting.
Hello everyone, I bought a dining table from Ashley and was very happy and satisfy when they arrived. Its look nice, comfortable and strong. The delivery young men were very gentle with the furniture and ready to put the table together. I will recommend this store to you. Good business.

This was a horrible experience. If negative stars was a thing. DO NOT DO FINANCING WITH THESE PEOPLE. Please do your research these people with rip you all the way off. Do your online research after you see the price of an item you like. They will quote you the highest price of an item if you are financing and pretend they are giving you a discount only to realize you might be paying up to 50% higher. They are like sharks.

For anyone looking to buy from this store or any Ashley Homestore in particular, this is a complete account of what has happened to me and will most likely happen to you. The moment you walk into the store you are greeted by a seemingly knowledgeable and kind salesperson. They take you around and show you all of their great deals. Once you place your order you are placed on a queue for each item's parts. This means if you order a bed set, you are put in queue for the headboard and another queue for the side pieces. The queues for these pieces are not the same and they do not tell you about the queue! (This is an important detail)The salesperson will give you assurances that they will not only call you to set up a time to deliver, but also (only if you live in an apartment) contact your building manager to coordinate insurance documents. This will not come to pass as, like how a parent nags their child to eat their damn vegetables, you will will need to call Ashley's customer service every day for at least 14 days prior to your estimated delivery date just to figure out if the furniture is coming or not. If you do not call them everyday they will pocket your money and forget about you.I placed an order in mid December of 2020 and I was told that I could get a guaranteed delivery within the first week of January for my new Apartment in NYC. This order ended up being split into two separate orders as a single piece of the couch I ordered was bought by someone else(who the hell does that). Anyways I set up a time with my building manager (as move in days must be reserved), and filled out necessary paperwork on my end. The representative I spoke to at Ashley HomeStore, who promised to keep me in the loop, told me a day before my move in that my building was late with their insurance documents. HE ONLY TOLD ME THIS BECAUSE I SPAM CALLED HIM THAT DAY. This ended up being a lie as I contacted the building and it turns out that the representative totally forgot to send in the insurance documents altogether. Professional right? This led me to delay my move in date by approximately two weeks. In those two weeks I had to call customer service in order to make sure documents were sent out; not a job for a paying customer. I continuously asked customer service if they could tell me how many people are in front of me in the queue but apparently this is impossible. Most likely due to the fact that the collective brainpower at Ashley HomeStore cannot figure out how to develop such a ~complex~ piece of software. Long story longer, I finally got my bed set...I will discuss the movers later in this review. If you are like me and live in an apartment building and your building requires a certificate of insurance, you will need to send the documents to coi@ashleyne.com. I initially sent my COI documents to the generic customer service and they didn't even have the ability to forward it to their COI department. You will need to stay on top of them for that as well. To be completely frank with you, I do not believe they even have a COI department. If so it is probably a single person locked away hundreds of feet underground in Edison, NJ with a 2010 chromebook and 1998 microsoft excel. Why do I think they are locked away in their headquarters hundreds of feet underground? Well when was the last time a whole division of a company doesn't have a phone number? What a joke. As I am currently furiously starting a friction fire from my typing, I am waiting for my second delivery that was delayed up until March of 2020 . I had to call them every day for the last 10 days just to make sure these ADULTS could give me my furniture in time. The icing on the cake was definitely the call not even 30 minutes prior to this review in which they told me the delivery was going to be late. The woman who called me cut me off at every sentence and did not even take my questions. She said "its going to be late is that ok? ok great bye" then hung up. Finally, once you get

I wish I could give them 0 stars , the in store associates were most helpful . However, my Product came damaged in October and they didn’t want to take it back. After weeks of calling they took the product back in December we are now in March I still have not received my refund . I’m so upset and disappointed I will NEVER shop from them again and everyone I speak to I suggest the same thing.

My 1st time there and I love everything from the furniture , to the great customer service. Everyone there was so friendly. The sales rep Megan & Emanuel where amazing, where honest about the items we was interested in and gave us options. my husband and I couldn’t make up our mind. So many selections, we wanted everything. We was also accompanied by our 2 year old daughter, who at time was misbehaving, Megan and Emanuel never lost they cool. For accents pieces such as small end/entryway tables, decorative shelves, tabletops accessories and wall decor, Ashley Home Store in Yonkers on Central Ave- does it right. Since the start of my Vanity Room revamp, I've been toying with the idea of having a gold tall shelf to replace an old white IKEA bulky one I've had for about 15 years. I could've purchased a shelf anywhere online- but I wanted to feel and see it for myself (I tend to be OC). Plus Ashley came up when I Googled "gold shelves near me". Saw a cute one, stopped in on an impromptu Friday to see for myself. Personally, I don't like breaking the bank- but for furniture getting a lot of wear and tear such as dining sets, sofas, beds (frames), dressers, I rather dish out more at Pottery B. or Williams-Sonoma- just because function and quality are the driving forces there. That's just me. Plus I want to hold on to heavy-used items for a realllllly long time. Don't you?But this place has furniture to satisfy any look you're going for. I was greeted instantly by my guy Andrew- who was a sweetheart! The floor had the wrought iron finish on display- not the gold I wanted. Told him what I wanted and as he called it, "you want a hint of gold", I searched it right from my phone- so he can get a better idea and BOOM! He assured me the gold finish is in stock online and began my order. Andrew was super personable throughout the ordering process. I mean...he and I were like right there. When I closed the deal, he finalized what I paid for and delivery date. See it how you want to see it. But for me, I see Ashley as a treasure trove with unexpected finds. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a nice place to get lost a bit.

Oh where to start. I bought a full bedroom set about two years ago. PAID IN CASH. We had so much trouble with the headboard we had to wait twice for it to be sorted and had my husband and I had to sleep on the floor until the issue was taken care of. It took MANY MANY calls to take care of this issue. I needed two new sofas and decided to stay local due to covid and went back to Ashley. OMG. How I do so regret this. Paid cash again. Troy was so helpful. And said ANY problems do not hesitate to contact him. Sofas arrive. And as I rub my hand along the sofa I got stuck with a industrial needle. Took photos and kept the needle. Delivery men saw this. Two nights later we got to sit in the sofas and one you just sink so far down you feel like sitting in the floor. Rang store and was told by Troy. Once it is delivered they will/can’t do anything for me. . Rang customers service TWICE. Same thing. They will sent me a link to send photos. Still waiting for email link and a phone call. They are just the worst. STAY AWAY PEOPLE. I should have kept to my promise to myself.

I’m moving and in search of a grey sectional pull out couch in kind of a hurry. I’ve searched online been to countless furniture stores will no luck in sight. I’m panicking thinking the couch I want doesn’t exist until I go to the Ashley HomeStore in Yonkers, where I meet MEGAN! I her told about my situation and how I’m losing hope on finding this couch, when she says I can help I have 3 different options I think could work. Skeptical, I follow her around the showroom up the stairs and 1st couch she shows me and my family is the one I’ve been looking for but didn’t know existed. Megan at Ashley HomeStore in Yonkers found my unicorn couch with the utmost professionalism, knowledge, and super friendly demeanor I have seen in a long time. She worked with me on all fronts to make sure that the couch was mine as there were only 3 left in stock. I always saw the Ashley HomeStore commercial on tv, but now after my experience with Megan. I see it and I smile!

Ashley is by far the worst place you can purchase furniture. I accept when mistakes are made and I will always give a chance to remediate, this was not that. I only purchased a dining room set and was given the run around for a almost month. I was told the delivery would take place on a certain date and when I called the day before to confirm, they had NO record of the delivery on file. Ashley’s communication with each other is almost non existent. After being told my delivery was not in the system I went to the store to get some insight as to why this happened and what I can do to move forward. Nothing was done, I was told I would get a follow up and was never followed up with. After not heard from anyone, I made my second trip to the store. I spoke with someone else who ASSURED me that she would call me to follow up and would make it her personal duty to do so. She did NOT follow up with me once. At this point, I am frustrated and annoyed because I just want my dining room set to be delivered. After multiple attempts to schedule a delivery date, I finally did so by contacting their customer service department. When they came for the delivery, they had delivered the wrong chairs. So now I make a THIRD trip to the store. I ask to speak to a manager and when he approached me, he sat right down in front of a computer and didn’t even acknowledge me. I will never understand people who don’t change career paths when they hate their job so much. Anyway, he said he would discount the chairs for me for the inconvenience. I was still very angry because they weren’t able to give me a redelivery date that day but I gave them ANOTHER chance to get it right. The manager did follow up with me but he spoke with me like he was annoyed and hated his life. Really not my problem. If you are a manager, this is what you need to deal with. Put on your big boy pants and get over it. He told me that he never said he would discount the chairs, he said he would discount them to offset the RE-delivery charge. I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR A REDELIVERY CHARGE PERIOD!! It was Ashley’s fault that I was delivered the wrong chairs. After trying to get in contact with the store owner, speaking to 6 different people who couldn’t do anything for me. The manager finally gave in and discounted me the chairs because he probably just wanted to get rid of me at this point. Well it has been 6 days since I received the table and the side part is already falling apart. I am now looking to get an entire living room set for my grandparents and I assure you, I will not be purchasing from Ashley’s. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I have brought an entire bed set and went to return the pillows and mattress covers because I found them cheaper some where else they said they cannot return them due to all sales are final but no where on my contract or store does it say that. When they said they would no the exchange I cancdlled everything but the pillows amd sheet and I wad still charged a 5 year Warren for the bed and frame that they cancelld but would not give me a refund for the warranty. I am still fighting with them and will file a claim with the BBB. This store has the worst customer service ever the sales people don't care or remember you when you purchase anything. Any issues you have they pass you to customer service number who then sends you back to the store because it an independent franchise and you need to go to deal with the issues at a store level which means they pass it back and forth.. don't buy anything from this store or deal with customer service. They tell you to send an email and they do not follow up with you. This place is the most unprofessional ill go to a no name furniture store and probably get better quality furniture and service. The sofas don't last more than a year i brought 2 sofas that were leather and they peel and crack and break... buyer beware!!

Worst experience in my life buying furniture from Ashley store in Yonkers. Bought a dining room set and a carpet, and the dining room table has a defect on top of table and I have been running around for the last 2 months trying to get a solution. Still no fix and no help from Ashley. Wrong carpet was delivered by Ashley, and now they wont switch it to what we ordered. I would never buy from Ashley furniture again and I would not recommend anyone to buy from here. This place wont stay in business for too long this way.
Large store but not enough selection
ROSE AND PRINCE were extremely patient and helpful. We went in with no idea with what we wanted and we left really happy with all the things we got. They managed to keep things contemporary modern and affordable for our lifestyle. Rose has really good ideas for young adults coming into new apartments and Prince has a lot of advice to give with the quality of things. They are a really good pair to work with when it comes to interior designing.
Love this place; they carry a wide variety of quality furniture and home decor for you to choose from.

Changing my review as this store just reels you in with lies. DO NOT GO HERE & DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. You can go to any other furniture store and purchase Ashley pieces for half the price. We went directly with Ashleys because they guaranteed we would receive the furniture within a reasonable amount of time. We checked each and every piece and they gave us dates which we would receive the pieces by. We ordered our furniture on January 10th. It is now February 23rd and after calling many times in the past weeks, our delivery dates have changed numerous times. I was just told that we will not have our full furniture until APRIL 7th! I went to 3 other furniture stores who had the same pieces for far less than what Ashley charged but we would have had to wait months. if we knew that this would happen to us, we would have never went with Ashley. This is a lesson learned and we are contemplating cancelling our whole order because of how terrible this experience has been. I repeat - if you are looking to purchase furniture. Go anywhere BUT here. I promise you will regret it. First time homeowners... & buying furniture was definitely stressful. As soon as we walked into Ashleys, we were greeted by Brian who patiently walked us through all of the furniture we were looking for. Along with Brian, for the 2nd time around, Nick also patiently helped us get what we were looking for. They worked with our budget, spent hours with us, even helped us get the quickest delivery option! Highly recommend asking for Brian and Nick when you visit!! You will leave happy with exactly what you were looking for.

Horrible Customer Service!! It is sad that there is absolutely no communication via phone via email or via mail regarding an order. I purchased a table with a representative named Gabriel on October 31, 2020 with an estimated time of delivery within 3 weeks that then turned into Around thanksgiving to probably the week of Christmas or sooner and now to approximately February 2021. I have been patient all this time but every time I call to find out delivery date they give me that its to be delivered now another month later. I canceled my order today because its ridiculous if I order a table be up front with me or notify me of the changes. Why would I wait 4-5 months for a dining table for me and my family?? Im just sad i missed thanksgiving and now xmas without a table waiting and trusting them and they act as if they are going to diver late two weeks meanwhile its 4 months later and not promised! Communication is key and should be expressed to every customer!! Sad Moment!

So far my experience shopping with Ashley HomeStores on Central Avenue in Yonkers, NY has been great. My Sales Agent, Meghan, was great, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. My sofa arrived today well within my scheduled window time. The communication was great and the delivery guys were courteous and professional. They assembled my sofa completely and efficiently.
Worst experience ever. Ordered furniture from here twice and both times there were items missing. After calling to see when i would be getting what i was missing all that was said was that the items were out of stock and that if i wanted them i had to wait another 3 weeks. Never again.
I read these reviews back in October and told myself I wouldn&'t shop here. After Bob&'s was out of stock on my desired item through May 2021, I gave this place a shot. So far- worst decision. Very inconsistent with delivery dates, poor assistance from customer service. I&'m leaving this at one star because I have a very negative feeling about the rest of this process, I don&'t think I&'d change my 1 star review.

Terrible terrible terrible. First they tell me a date and deliver my bed two weeks later without the mattress. They go on to tell me they will take off the delivery charge but never did. Then a minute then later they delivered the rest of my bedroom set but guess what wrong color. When I call to fix they were pretty nonchalant about it like who cares we messed.

I ordered a couch a couple weeks ago and they gave me a 11.16 pick up date. When I called two weeks to confirm they said the only things missing were my two tables. Last week I call to confirm if the tables were ready and they said that my couch was sold. THE COUCH I PAID FOR AND WAS WAITING FOR WEEKS. I then call again today and now my couch won&'t come FOR MONTHS. DO NOT BUY anything here if you want good customer service and for your money to have value. Ridiculous. 0 stars if I could.

My personal experience at this store was FABULOUS. The sales gentleman, the ladies at customer service and the gentleman who completed our purchase were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very informative about their entire stock. I have to state that Rachel went above and beyond my expectations as a customer. Upon calling the store about delivery issues, Rachel immediately contacted the store manager and arranged to acomodate my delivery availability and preferences. She was absolutely amazing. I recommend this store and their staff 1000%. They are truly committed and I will be back to shop for more. Thank you all.

I will never ever walk into this store again. We were seeking a couch, we were escorted upstairs by stairwell, we browsed some and selected one. The salesman unknowingly charged us for a warranty we knew nothing about until point of sale and refused the charge, it was removed, Set up delivery, the guys latinos arrived, one knocks and without invitation pushes his way into our home (disrespectful) he is in our hallway standing like he is casing our home, and acting like he is mentally distracted.Us being former delivery driver for a furniture store noticed the two new guys entering acted like we knew nothing about furniture assembly and disassemply, we just retained our attitude.Because of their obnoxious demeanor, we rendered NO TIP for arrogance. One slurps his lips as they walk out of our door.Never assume Ashley, we are not Americas cattle.I have a home improvement degree, laundry machinery degree, food safety degree and a automotive engineering degree, a Carpet installer degree and Roofing installation tech.

My wife and I came into Ashley’s furniture store today, looking for a mattress. We had to replace our existing mattress that we’ve had for many years. We were greeted by Duval, who showed us a great mattress along with options. We settled on a Stearns and Foster. Duval was patient and knowledgeable and I would recommend anyone looking for not only a mattress, but anything else to see him.
We went To this Ashley home store after seeing almost every furniture store on central ave. We were immediately treated by Scott who was great. He wasn’t pushy or sales pitchy, but was around when we needed him. We were able to check things out on our own and he just knew when to pop in to provide a detail or two. Once we were ready, he really worked with us to get us what we wanted in the price point we were looking for. So helpful and gracious, he’s a total gentleman! Ask for him! Even after we left the store and had other considerations, he was quick to respond and assist. After so many others stores, he helped find just what we needed and finally pulled the trigger. My experience at the Central Ave location in Yonkers was great. My sales associate was MEGAN PATTERSON. She has exceptional sales skills, is very patient and takes the time to explain all the details and prices of the combinations that can be made from the collection. When your furnature arrives, inspect it in detail! We recevied damaged furnature and the delivery team hid the damage under mattress. Oh, and customer service is horrific to say the least.
Donora is insanely helpful, knowledgeable and really caring. She went above and beyond to ensure the best customer service possible and worked with me to select and identify a couch that would fit with our apartment. The apartment I was told that I would be moving into was actually incorrect, and everything was inverted which led to me having to refuse the delivery of the couch I chose. Denora was so on top of it, looked through all other models/available options etc. Even though the wait times for furniture are insanely long (outside of their control) I felt I was really well taken care of and would like to compliment Denora on the services provided.

We purchased two furniture sets from this store. I confirmed the delivery via a text that I received the week it was supposed to be delivered. We waited and waited on the delivery day, until finally calling customer care. It turns out none of our contact information was saved by the saleswoman so there was no way for them to tell us that our furniture wouldn’t be delivered for another two weeks. We are extremely disappointed by their customer service, only offering a condescending “so sorry about that”. We will never ever shop here again.
My fiancé and I just purchased our bedroom set and Megan was unbelievably helpful! From the beginning she was very attentive and sweet and answered all of our questions and concerns. We will definitely be going back for more things and we look forward to working with Megan again! She was AMAZING!!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY ! I went to this store and paid for my furniture in FULL, and got a delivery date. The date came, and my furniture didn't show up. When I called the store, they told me my order was cancelled, and there is jonorder generated. I never cancelled my order, and said f it, refund my money. They tried to tell me there was no payment on file. So after going back and forth with someone who worked there, they found record of my payment. They insisted on getting me my order deliverer the next day, first thing in the morning. Now here it is, 10pm the next night, and I just got a call stating that my furniture can't be delivered today, that they will deliever it tomorrow. 2 days in a row me and my child had to sleep on the floor! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A FURNITURE STORE! ASHLEY'S CAN NOT BE TRUSTED!!!

Were there yesterday to buy a mattress for my daughter. She had a scoliosi surgery and want to make sure to get the perfect mattress for her need. Prince was so professional and really helpful to find the right one for my daughter need, we were really pleased with his service. Will go back soon to make more purchases. The worse customer service! I bought 4 barstools November 2019 nine months later still have not received itThe wrong order was delivered five months and two months in still waiting for it to be replaced customer service is blaming the store the store is blaming customer service, no one will take full responsibility. Your basic furniture store with lower prices than a more upscale store ... very limited choices in color availability...i ended up buying my recliner sofa at La-z Boy ... cost a bit more but a hundred more options to choose from in both covering fabric and colors..
Great options but if you want something soon do not shop here. Ordered a couch in the second week of June. Told we would get in in July (no specific day) and got a $100 discount because of delay. Call the customer service center for more specific delivery date and they said AUGUST. Every time I call it&'s delayed another week. DO NOT shop here if you want clear communication. Shop here if you want a couch 6-8 weeks later though, no direct line to the store and customer service wait time for 30+ minutes.
Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and received the best assistance with my purchase. Duval was my sales person he is patient and kind. In his absence Gabriel helped me even though sales are commission based he did not make me feel that way. I highly recommend this location.
BUYER BEWARE!!!! Ashely furniture are scam artists. Lesson learned for my husband and I. About two weeks after reviewing our purchase and reviewing their online prices and noticed that there was actually a $1500 price difference!! From their in-store prices to their online prices. We came in like 7x to the store to speak to the manager to seek a price adjustment. After waiting several days, she tells us "sorry it cant be done". Never again! Do your research before walking into this store or any store. I'm soo hurt by this, I feel robbed for my money especially during a pandemic.
I waited one month for my order, the night before scheduled delivery the warehouse called and told me that my sleeper sofa would not be available til a month later. Ok, I didn't like to hear that but we are in the middle of a pandemic. So 2 months pass, same scenario. The warehouse calls they tell me my sleeper was delivered but it's been damaged. The next time I will be able to get my sleeper sofa is in AUGUST! After speaking to a close friend he said the said thing happened to him a YEAR prior! STAY AWAY!

Customer Service tells you to take up matter with the store. This is beyond despicable. It&'s a game to get you to buy and then wash their hands off it. Do not shop at this or any Ashley location. Do not. Nightmare experience.
We walked in and were greeted by gabriel, although he was new to the job he was poised and gave us space, not pushy at all, major plus!. Gabriel did his best and enlisted the help of megan, she being more seasoned was able to really help us out. Megan is a superstar and we would not have made our purchase without her!
Prince Woodberry helped me pick out the most beautiful art deco marble top cabinet. I originally went in for a fireplace and couldn't find the exact style I was looking for. He was so patient and explained the options available for white glove service so I dont even have to build anything or pay for shipping. He also gave me a really good price below the tagged price! He was so thoughtful and had a really good sense of home design and style. All the staff were super pleasant, the manager threw in 5 year protection at no cost and the other staff were complimentary and kept the place extremely sanitary with hand pumps around store and timed rounds of sanitation. The store is also super huge with two floors. I can't believe I've never been there before. They have so many nice things, especially the lighting and accessories. I cant wait to go back!
salesmen are great but wait for delivery and service you will be very disappointed. I received a bedroom set, mattress, and living room sectional. The delivery guys dumped it in my house and told my 73 year old husband he had to put it together himself. Then we noticed a chunk of wood missing, a nail sticking out of the front and paint splattered over the front. Yes they delivered damaged merchandise and will not make good for it. They damaged it and won't cover it under warranty. 2 weeks old. I didn't notice it until 2 weeks later because it is in my second home and I wasn't there for 2 weeks. Will not give me a new piece. Paint splattered across the front. A $900. dresser. Stay away. Looks good in the store but they are worse than used car salesman. When there is a problem they cannot help you.
Terrible they talk me in to buying platnum furniture insurance at 375 dollars for my sofa and 375 dollars for dinning table and that platnum ins,are crooks they dont want to cover so they stold my money ashley furniture it telling customer fraudelent information with this planum insurance who steal youre money

The current specials/deals were offered and reviewed to us. We're excited for our furniture to arrive and we left feeling well taken care of!

On Sunday, 02/16/2020, I visited Ashley Furniture to view in person an item I wanted to purchase, also to see if the store could get the item delivered sooner than the 2 weeks offered online. I was tempted to purchase online because of the Presidents Day Discounts. I was greeted by Scott Widder. I told him exactly what I was in the market for and he was expeditious showing me the item I desired to purchase. He showed me the couch, which I fell in love with, the Dayceon 2 piece chaise. Very comfortable, perfect size for my living space, and great quality for the price. We sat and chatted, and he was a very polite, friendly, and extremely courteous. In-store the couch was more and they didn't offer the 10% additional discount as online. But due to the price match Ashley offers, Scott met all of my needs, as well was able to offer me a time slot within a few days. This was the last thing I needed to complete my home, but I will definitely go back when in need of updating furniture in my home. In addition, Damon or Damien, I believe who is one of the managers, was extremely kind in his efforts as well as Arlene Patterson who assisted me in my check out. Everyone in the store was very approachable, and that can be hard on a early, holiday, Sunday morning; while this a business that the associates job is to sell and be friendly, at Ashley Furniture on Central Avenue in Yonkers, NY, the friendliness is beyond sales, it is genuine. I recommend them, and ask for Scott Widder!

I purchased a bunk bed for my two small children, 8 months later the ladder had detached from the bed, make it extremely dangerous to get in and out of the bed. Customer service is terrible, the &"warranty&" is a myth and protection plans covers literally nothing! I have spent hours on the phone back and Forth between the main office and the insurance company. No was has helped me or taken any accountability to event try and fix my issues. At the time of purchase I was assured that the protection plan covers everything and it it can&'t be fixed it will be replaced. Save the coins and go to Bob&'s I&'ve been calling for months still no response! 2-15-2020

My boyfriend and I went in to browse their showroom and were promptly greeted by Megan. She was extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. She gave us the time and space to browse both floors of the show room until we found the piece(s) we liked. She was beyond helpful with the financing portion, filing out the paperwork and giving us all of the information we needed. They even gave me a birthday card, signed by each staff member, since it was my actual birthday; it was incredibly sweet. We were even assisted by her manager, Damian (?) who was also a great help and very personable. Overall, top to bottom, we had a great experience and will be referring everyone to Megan and Damian.

THIS STORE WAS EXCEPTIONAL!!! I came into this store very upset by the way I was treated over at Raymour. The customer service desk were such a ray of sunshine, everyone was smiling and welcoming to me. The young lady at the desk by the name Alexis asked me if me and my kids wanted any refreshments as the other two Omari and Shane asked my children if they wanted some paper and crayons to color while I looked around. They took the time to keep my children company as I walked around the store with the amazing sells man Prince , whom was very patient with me. For these reasons I will become a loyal longtime customer here at Ashley Homestore !

My husband and I visited this store to LOOK at bedroom sets. We had no intentions of buying for another few weeks and just wanted to browse. Upon entering the store we met Megan. Megan provided us with time and space to browse and initially, nothing stood out. She then took the time to find out what style we were going for and did another walk through with us based on our description. Megan spent over 3 HOURS with us in the store and we greatly appreciate her for being so patient and knowledgable about the merchandise. She answered all our questions, brought the manager (Steven) in for additional support and inquires about appropriate discounts. I say all of this to say the customer service was amazing and as a result we did end up finalizing a purchase that same day and bought more than what was intended. Will definitely continue to shop at this location.

Worst decision I made in purchasing from them. Defective furniture where the stain & varnish scratched off a $1000 dining table in less than 2 months. Cant return or get replacement. They&'ll only &"repair&" it.
I purchased a sofa, tv stand and dresser. They were delivered on Nov 30th. The sofa and tv stand are fine but I have not been able to use the dresser since day one. Everything appeared great until i attempted to put some clothing in the drawers. First one drawer fell off the track, proceeded by the rest. Not only are they off track, the will not go back on. I called on Dec 1, to report the issue. I expected a return and refund. No one should have this issue with a new piece of furniture. WRONG. They now tell me since i didn't "inspect" before the delivery crew left, they have to attempt to fix the problem. So the blame is on the customer and not the defective piece of furniture. Dealing with customer care is like getting teeth pulled. Never once did they reply to my emails. Never once did they make a follow up call. I called 6 times always to be given the runaround. They send parts to your home and when you call to schedule the tech service, i was told that there were no avail appts in my area. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, they are never available. It has been a nightmare. My clothes are in boxes on the floor and there is no fix date in site. They truly do not care and that is what bothers me the most. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM. YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE. No one should have to wait a month to resolve a problem with a defective piece of furniture. No one should have to get a new piece of furniture fixed. And no one should be treated this way. You should care about your customers and you should do the right thing. Blaming your customers, forcing them to wait weeks for help and not communicating at all, are examples of the worse customer service a company can have. You have one star ratings, that says it all. Shame on you.

Spent over $3000 worth of furniture and the sales person convinced me to also buy the $350 warranty in case something happens to my couch they will credit or replace it one time. I have been back and forth with the insurance and the store representatives and had to bring it to a corporate level and NO ONE will do anything. They changed the warranty 6 months after I bought and are telling me I'm not covered. Their furniture is made soo cheap and poorly you are lucky to have it last even a year.

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Worst experience of my life buying an item from a retail store. They sold us a defective mattress and have been back and forth with customer service and they refuse to refund our purchase. The first couple of days we just wanted to exchange the mattress but they wouldn’t even do that. Now after almost 2 WEEKS of a broken mattress that can’t be used they want to exchange it and refuse to refund my purchase. I’ve never experienced worse customer service then this Company. Please look through these reviews and see all the terrible reviews. I wish I would have checked here first. I hope my review helps even just one person avoid being ripped off by this sham of a company. Google needs to invent a 0 star rating because I’m aggravated having to even give them 1 😡😡😡
Don&'t waste your time or money at this dump of a furniture store. Only reason I&'m giving this a 1 star is for the sales rep Jakub, who initially helped me in purchasing my furniture. He was amazing but other than that please just away it&'s been a nightmare for me from the day of delivery until this very day.
They have the worst customer experience or satisfaction. On 2 different occasions my orders got messed up an they point blank told me they can't do nothing about it so I can take back my money after me driving to their new Jersey location from new York city to go pick my item. I wouldn't recommend anyone shopping with them

He did not pressure us at any time and allowed us time to explore all of our options and make the right choices for our home. David was sure put our nerves at ease with such an important purchase for our first home while providing expert guidance and assistance. He went above and beyond to show us our options. David was extremely knowledgeable of the products and consulted us on numerous designs to fit our space. David helped us feel comfortable with our purchases and helped us stay within our budget while buying beautiful, high quality pieces of furniture. He truly was wonderful to work with! David thank you for all of your help. We will definitely be back to work with him and his team again for all of our home needs.
Worse experience after purchasing furniture!!! If I can give Ashley furnoture a -100 I would as I would never purchase furniture from them again. A little over a year and a half ago I purchased a kitchen table with 4 chairs, the experience at the store and everything was fine. But my review is over all for the way the warranty is handled and the fact that they wouldn't cover damages on my furniture because they assume it was purposely done by me. When I purchased in store they pushed for me to get warranty and falsely stated it would cover EVERYTHING without directing me to call the warranty to see what they covered. I ended up paying a little over $600 cash (no credit card, no finance) CASH MONEY. A little after a year of my purchase I started to notice chunks of the wood from the chairs just breaking apart (the table or chaits haven't been moved since purchasing). Around April I contacted the warranty they did my claim, they had me send pictures and had an adjuster look at them just to tell me that those were extensive damages that weren't covered under the warranty. WHAT??? I called and after a long conversation even with management from the warranty they just straight up told me it wasn't covered and the store wasn't able to do anything either because it had been over a year and I wasn't covered under their warranty either. Now I'm stuck with kitchen chairs that look like they're 20+ years old falling apart which I haven't even had foe 2 years and the warranty I paid for doesn't cover my damages. First I'm concerned of the kind of furniture Ashley sells that falls apart like that so fast just because, second what type of warranty is it that they push so much to purchase for what??? If it doesn't cover and third I will definetly take my business else where because the fact that I paid $600 CASH on the spot for my furniture and just after a year falls apart it says how bad the quality is. I have even attached pictures of how the chunks are off. JUST A FAIR WARNING FOR ANYONE BUYING THEIR FURNITURE!
For some reason, I decided to make multiple purchases from Ashley for my new apartment, and what a mistake that was. My nightstand from my online order got delivered damaged, so I had to wait 45 minutes to speak to a representative for that. That&'s the least of my concerns. I ordered a black sofa and didn&'t realize my receipt said cobblestone despite being reassured by the salesperson that I&'m getting black. The sofa that was delivered was a sage green. I ended up signing for it and trying to make it work, but I decided the next day I don&'t want it. I went back to the store and they sent me back and forth with the customer service phone line. Customer support is the most disorganized and rudest &"support&" possible. They basically told me there&'s nothing they can do despite it being their mistake. I wanted an even exchange and they refused and essentially made me feel incompetent and helpless. Never again.

Worst store ever to buy furniture, I don’t usually do reviews, but it can prevent from other people making the same mistake. Back in January I bought a bed set for my son, only half of the furniture came. After many calls were made and I even stop at the store where I bought it. They told me that they no longer have those sets available that they will give me store credit for the part that was missing, neither the store nor Customer service wanted to take responsibility. Because I didn’t want to deal with them any longer I ended it up throwing the bed away because it was not complete. And they waited 6 months to tell me that.
-0 I give this place. Stay away from Ashley Home Furniture. Worse brand/store poor quality and customer service. The people at the store are nice, but after you paid and walked away. You have to deal with their bad customer service, information, inconsistencies, mistakes which they want to turned over to be you. If you don’t carefully inspect your furniture (with a magnifying eye) and reject it if you are not happy, they hold that against you. It becomes your fault. The delivery people don’t want to take it back so they will tell you “you have 72 hours to report any issues” DONT, make them take it back no matter how small the damage is. These are not even all the pictures. I purchased my many items over the summer and I’m still dealing with them. Today, another repair person came missing 1/2 of the repair order again. I’m done with them. GARBAGE COMPANY!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE!!

I had high hopes for this store. BUYER BEWARE! The salesman Anthony Simmons and his management team are incredibly dishonest. They assure you that they are giving you the best prices; however, my entire order was almost twice the price of the online listed price. They wound up price matching everything but it is only after they were called to task on why the furniture was so much more in the store. The salesman Anthony and his manager told me that none of the furniture has names, this was to prevent me from looking up the items online to see the real price. The delivery process was horrific! My furniture was not delivered on the day they guaranteed and no one called to inform me. It took more than 20 phone calls to resolve the delivery issues- additionally? If you live in a building that requires one, Obtaining a COI for my building was also. Nightmare. I was guaranteed a box spring with my bed and when that too was not delivered and I called Anthony about it, he and his manager “assured” me that I would have one delivered the next day. I NEVER heard back from them and never received my box spring. The employees here are not credible, they blatantly lie, and are constantly in a position of taking advantage of their customers. My Advice : go anywhere but here but if you do go here- do your own research first before they overcharge and under commit.

My review is on the Company as a whole. The store my daughter and her fiancé purchased their sofa from had a lot of issues the salesman was inexperienced and claimed the sofa would fit through any door. It didn’t fit on day of delivery... the reschedule date was three weeks later and was a GUARANTEED FIT DELIVERY wherein the sofa comes in pieces and they actually assemble on premises. They assembled on premises incorrectly and the sofa lasted one month before the center of sofa collapsed in. Their Ashley warranty was still in effect since it was a little over a month since delivered. The claims process took over a month. Finally they scheduled a date for an inspector to come by and look at sofa. He confirmed that sofa was incorrectly assembled. The installers had broke backing while assembling and attempted some sort of patch job which was not enough to maintain the integrity of sofa. The new sofa arrived today and was assembled by two different sofa assemblers who after disassembling the collapsed sofa confirmed that it was assembled incorrectly. THE TWO ASSEMBLY GUYS RAFAEL SANTANA AND OMAR WERE GREAT. They assured me SOFA WAS NOW PROPERLY ASSEMBLED. They get 5 stars. THEY ASSEMBLED THE SOFA IN LESS THAN AN HOUR (the original guys took over 2 hours to assemble) and assured me that the sofa can be jumped on and would not break. They were friendly and quick. Hopefully this sofa will last longer than the original. IF IT SAGS AGAIN I WILL BE PHONING BACK AND UPDATING MY REVIEW. If you decide to purchase from Ashley Furniture measure and keep your warranties handy. Be mindful also that STAIN RESISTANT does not mean it doesn’t stain. For all the inconvenience that the company caused by their workers improperly assembling sofa they refused to allow my daughter a color change without charging an additional $90. Poor customer service skills. I told my daughter now you know this is not the place to purchase your next sofa from.
I went with my daughter to purchase furniture and everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The customer service is lacking in accountability and irregardless of inconveniencing a customer with improper information, delivery scheduling mishaps, or incompetent furniture assemblers. Their lack of customer service skills in showing empathy when they make mistakes and their lack of extending a courtesy to customers will be reflected in a loss of repeat customers. Nobody likes to shop again at a store where their experience was less than pleasant.
I purchased a bunk bed for my two small children, 8 months later the ladder had detached from the bed, make it extremely dangerous to get in and out of the bed. Customer service is terrible, the "warranty" is a myth and protection plans covers literally nothing! I have spent hours on the phone back and Forth between the main office and the insurance company. No was has helped me or taken any accountability to event try and fix my issues. At the time of purchase I was assured that the protection plan covers everything and it it can't be fixed it will be replaced. Save the coins and go to Bob's
Avoid this store at all costs! And don't apply for the Ashley credit card. While the sales help is good, when the store makes errors with billing they are unhelpful with and slow to resolve them. This results in late charges to your account and affect your credit rating negatively.

If I could give a -50 for a score I would. I have had the most disgusting experience with furniture from this company. DO NOT BUY from this place. I bought a leather couch and love seat from the store on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers and the furniture was delivered on May 21 last year (2018). There was a tear under the love seat pillow. I sent pictures to them and a technician came out to repair. Then the top pillows were sinking in and they sent a technician to put more stuffing in the pillows. Meanwhile I called to complain that the right top pillow was crooked. A technician was sent and had to take the whole backing of the love seat off and literally redo the love seat's whole back park. This was the second time the whole backing of the love seat was taken off and redone. This second time the whole upper part of the love seat had to be redone because the pillows are attached to the back of the love seat. The right pillow is still a little crooked. This was a waste of money to have purchased this defective furniture from Ashley. And do not get me started on how rude and unprofessional customer service is. I called the Corporate Office and someone there had a rep named Aubry call me. She was very good However when I last tried to call her I was told the menu had changed and I could not be connected to this person. I then received a voice message on my phone from Aubry saying that everything was fixed and that my case was closed. I could not get her back. Why this store is still in business is beyond me. There should be a lawsuit against this despicable company. They are selling poor quality furniture. They are crooks. I would never ever buy anything else from this company. Absolutely Horrendous! This was the worse decision I ever made: purchasing furniture from this scam store. Do Not Buy from Ashley Furniture EVER!
I spent over 10k here for my new house and I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN! I did my order in December and explained I would not be in my home until Spring so if I had problems they said they would take care of it. I spent $300 on a clock that doesn’t work and they will not do a damn thing after spending 10k . I have the rest of my house to furnish but, won’t be doing it through them. Nick was nice but, they are have no customer service ethics at all. How can you not offer a replacement for a $300 clock after a customer spent 10k. If I could give them a ZERO I WOULD

We bought this “synthetic leather” couch about 4 years ago. Never thought it would be done in such a short period of time specially for the price that we paid. If you’re buying synthetic leather, don’t over pay like we did at this place.
Absolutely worst experience buying furniture ever. Unprofessional, false delivery dates, damaged furniture and when you go to the store for help they refer you to customer service stating there is nothing they can do. I’ll never order from them again
Ashley homestore helped me without a problem. My delivery schedule disappeared. When I went to the store they fixed my delivery and they adjusted my sale with the online pricing. Even the sales lady Debra took her time showing me around and helping find what I needed. I would recommend this store to everyone
May 2019- where can i start, this place is the worse place to shop or to even feel like your money is going to a good use. the sales person Javier is as horrible sale person as it get, no customer experience and rude all he care was to make a sale for him to get his commission, once sale is finally you are on your own there is no turning back. I purchase a dinning room set and a living room set I wanted everything to arrive the same day, which of course it didn't happen. after taking off from work to spend the entire day waiting just to get piece mill (dinning room set) of my delivery. I had too take another day off which the furniture came damage and Javier and the customer service crew/team all they said was is not in there control and we are sorry, you believe that B. . . S. . . I couldn't even change the 3rd delivery day cause once again they don't control over the delivery aspect is a 3rd party company, I ended taking a 3rd day off from work. just wanted to end this nightmare of an experience. I recommend to stay way from Ashley and specially Javier he didn't have any concern.
Worse experience with this store so far. Bought a dinning room set with a living room set all together and was expecting arrival before Memorial Day weekend to invite all the family to my new home. Only dinning room set came supposedly some one bought my living room while waiting for the dinning room set to arrive. as a paying customer I had to wait one more week for the arrival of my living room set, when I had all schedule the entries family for this weekend. Dinning room set arrive as expected but had to wait for living room set which arrive today damage and had to send it back. Call customer service and they have no concern or interest on helping me with my time frame is either they way or I have to wait until June 15 for the next arrival. Very disappointed and won’t come to this store again or recommend anyone. Stay away they promise the world just to make a sale but when things doesn’t go there way they quick to leave you dry with no option. Thank you Ashly Furniture.

I walked into an ashley @2006 in NY. I lasted about 5 seconds, saw the low-end "stuff" (opened some drawers, viewed the garbage, felt the furniture, lifted cushions and checked fabric - all the things I do when checking furniture store) and rapidly left the chintz store. It has since closed down. I understand people need cheap furniture when money's tight but this went beyond cheap into dirty sales/marketing tricks. I went back ONLY because a friend wanted to go. The furniture is worse than Walmart and it's a worse experience because you have to deal with a salesperson who, at this store, was the equivalent of used car salesman. My friend found what he wanted. He attempted to bargain w/Nicole and she lied her way into a sale. The technique was spot on - impressive. Increase prices then drop them. I worked for a short time in a boutique. When we had a sale, we marked up prices then slashed them but that was in college when I wanted a job for a month. I've learned a lot since then. Nicole's lying worked like a charm. Later my friend received a note from a friend with the same furniture (including brand, name, sku) but the price was hundreds of dollars less. If you insist on going to this store and find something you like, look it up first then let the salesperson step into your trap. Delivery (per Nicole, she dropped it because we were astounded at the high prices - it's a super marketing trick - raise it to crazy then drop it to "normal" and BINGO - you're made to think you got a great price but what you got was tricked). How in the world could I fall for this sort of dirty trick? I guess I was very tired (true). This never happened to me before at a furniture shop. Stay away from their "protection plan". Based on other reviews here, why would you think they'll resolve your issue. There are also many exceptions to getting a possible problem resolved. (I read one at Macy's when looking for a dining room table and I knew if I bought anything from them, I wouldn't buy the "protection" plan. ) * * * * * If you want cheap furniture without the sales BS, so much happened here, go to Walmart. It's cheap w/no pressure or dirty sales techniques. I don't know how long ashley's furniture lasts but Walmart stuff like Ikea holds up okay based on my own experience. * * * * * 4/22/19 Final update Anything stated by Nicole was heard by two people (my friend and I). N insisted there be a "breakdown charge (service)" by the deliverers (she explained bs and we listened). My friend told her the doorframe was 29". Nicole said if the frame is less than 32" and said my friend could've refused it. SHE never said that. Nicole also didn't take into account removing the legs. The couch measured by the deliverers said w/out legs, it was 28". Again I'm personally not familiar with this ostensibly constant BS. The salefolks I've used say it's xxx" size WITHOUT THE LEGS. I've had plenty of couches delivered to my own homes and that's taken into account. Not including it is . . . stupid . . . or another technique to sell something else to the buyer. I'm not psychic and don't know. Caveat emptor is one thing but this goes beyond it into totally shady selling practices. Everything I believed about the store played out beyond my imagination. This was nuts. Glad I walked out of ashley so long ago. Unfortunately for my friend, I was more than proven I did the right thing.
Rudest salespeople I have ever encountered
The customer service with getting you furniture is great however they have the worst delivery they do not work with you at all it's either you work with them or else My delivery that works for them was a month after i paid in full and because i missed a phone call from them regarding a delivery I was already locked in for they took me off that delivery now I have to wait for another month if I decide to keep my purchase with them so far we are looking into getting our Money back and going to R amour when people work delivery should try to work with schedules

Have a wide variety of furniture
Stay as far away from this place as possible they are liars and if you are crazy enough to buy something do not avail of any warranties to clean the furniture as they do not honor this, they basically robbed me and the manager is terrible, stay away from a sales man called Hanan

My mother and I bought around $8,000 worth of furniture from the store. Within three months, my cushions have flattened and the fabric has pilled. Mind you that this is my living room set for my second living room that we rarely use. I make sure that I keep the children out of this room as they have their own family room. I called customer care only to be told that this is not a manufacturer default. After 3 months my furniture is falling apart. I will make sure that I never buy anything from Ashley again!!!
Well let me just tell you if you are in the market for a mattress go see Kanan in the Yonkers store ,I went to 5 stores before I went to Ashley furniture in Yonkers and in all of those stores nobody really knew anything about all of the different mattresses all of the different levels of mattresses ,so I made my last stop at Ashley in Yonkers, I met Kanan he took me to the mattress section and explained all of the different manufacturers all of the different mattresses ,and Kanan knew his stuff, believe me it's very confusing to shop for mattresses ,then I brought my wife in because you know you have to make her happy, Kanan went through everything, had us go and lay on each bed explained the differences he was so knowledgeable. We finally made our decision and it was time to talk price, Kanan called the store manager Kaniel over what a great guy ,and so accommodating ,they sat down with me went through the prices gave me a really great deal. I am so happy with this experience, if you want a great experience buying a mattress go see Kanan he will take great care of you.It's experiences like this that bring me back as a customer. Thank you again guys you were great ,looking forward to doing business with you in the future.
I was in the process of buying a couch from this store...I kept telling the sales clerk and lady at front desk that we needed this couch to be delivered in the morning since nobody would be home in the afternoon and she said as soon as we get the text saying what time or day, we could change it...so I get the text; of course it&'s afternoon...I call and they said if I wanted to change it, there would be $100 fee...not one single person in that store told me this information...if I knew that, then I would of made the delivery date in the weekend...in the end, the store manager...his regional manger would not waive it, even though his staff never made this aware to me, so there for, I canceled the order and taking my business somewhere else...ridiculous...
They sold me a 3,500 couch took out 5 year warranty for 500 extra and couch is shredding and only 3 months old complained within 2 months and no one will come to look at the couch.. sorry but calling better business 4 attempts and no one will service the couch.. will never buy another piece of furniture again from Ashley’s
Went yesterday to buy two bedroom set..Had to leave immediately because salesman Hassan appeared too desperate to sale,that was rushing me the whole time i was there...followed me around the whole store and advising me on what to buy like if he was gonna pay for it
Was in this store last week. Decided to buy this sofa with really sweet deal, $20 per month for 5 years. But manager came and said it must be misprint and there is no way they could sell it for the price posted in this flyer. So, check all printed prices, they could be fake.

TERRIBLE!!! First let's start off from when you first walk in the store they hound you and when you find something you like they give u a price of about $700 more than what it's really worth and then try to negotiate down to maybe $200 less. If you do your research first and look online the price will be about $500-$700 cheaper than what they telling you at the store. So I purchase a sectional and was given a delivery date and on that delivery date I took off from work to wait for the delivery bcuz I was told that if no one was home I would be charged a second delivery fee...I waited all day and never received a call or anything stating that they were on they way so I decided to call around 6pm and they told me that they verbally spoke to the driver and that he would be to me no later 7:30! 7:30 comes around and no one has showed up or call me so once again I decided to call and come to find out that there is no one to speak with bcuz the customer service center is closed. I waited til the next morning and called for them to tell me that the driver was unable to complete his route and that I would have to schedule another delivery date (why should I have to schedule another delivery date when they should just continued to deliver from the previous day). This is BS!!!! I will be calling the store when they open at 10am and informing Nick (salesperson) that I no longer want the furniture and I want all my money back!!!
never never purchase anything from ashley furniture ; this is the most unreliable place to purchase from ! unreliable to the highest ! all they tell you is my humble apologies over and over . today is 01/08/2019 and i made purchase since early november 2018. they brought the item with parts missing on 11/28/18 so they had to take it back then i had to wait until 12/29/2018 for delivery which came with different part missing and to date they can't deliver . all i get is flimsy excuses. i called ashley warehouse more than 50 times and always there is a wait on line no manager or supervisor is available to speak to customer and now today after a long wait they said that the part will be shipped on 1/12/19 and have to wait another 10 business days after to receive same. all you get is the same bs bs from the staff . so please do not waste your time buying from ashley ! service sucks !!!!
