I’m deaf and photosensitive after a brain injury. Going into stores with LED lights and chatty salespeople is my nightmare. I really wanted a new sectional, though, and I chose Ashley Furniture. Robbie politely (not overbearingly) welcomed me and asked me if I would like help. I appreciated that friendly offer. I told him I am deaf so would prefer to quietly walk around and see if something catches my eye. I literally found exactly what I wanted immediately. Still, I gave the whole store a look before finding Robbie and telling him I’d found exactly what I wanted. He sat with me on “my” new sectional. We did the finance application right there. No stage office. He let me type my info, saving us both the hassle of spelling. I’d say the whole process took less than 45 minutes. I could not be happier with either the process of my new couch!!! Robbie is the perfect representative and sales support person. I am grateful! Here’s a photograph of my new living room!

Erik really got us! He was very helpful by laying the ground work for us by letting us know the different zones of the store and a few details about different fabrics, then let us go off on our own because we asked to do that. And we really needed that because we were making the transition from a standard couch to a sectional for the very first time and we just needed the time and space to do that. He checked on us a couple of times but really gave us the time and space to talk to each other, test every couch (for real, e v e r y couch), and then stepped in at the end when we were ready to crunch some numbers and make a final decision. We have done a lot of furniture shopping and this was by far our best shopping experience!

Fast easy process working with Joe Nuckolls. Waiting for delivery of our couch but the floor model seems to be a very nice couch and was exactly what we were looking for. We purchased the Larce 3-piece sectional with chaise.

My visit was short & straight to the point I got exactly what I wanted in a timely manner and the service was amazing. Tyler made my experience very relaxed.

We were greeted by Erik, who was very welcoming and friendly as well as professional and knowledgeable. Erik helped Mom choose the perfect recliner and dining room set. We were both very pleased with the selection and quality of the furniture. Eric made the entire process an absolute delight. We will definitely return to Ashley Furniture for our home furnishing needs in the future.

2/22/2026 President’s Day Sale. We visited the Ashley Store in Arden, NC. We were greeted by Steve the day before and he showed us the King Size Bed we wanted. We returned the next day President’s Day Sale and once again was greeted by the staff. My husband had a lot of questions which additional staff jumped into help. TJ and the other Manager helped to make our experience a good one. TJ continued to help us while Steve took care of other customers that were coming in. All our questions were answered. We got a good deal and are so happy with our purchase. We are waiting for our product to be delivered and will provide another review once it is all set up. Thank you Steve, TJ and all the others who helped us. I would recommend visiting this store for your furniture or bed needs!!!

This was my first experience shopping at Ashley's. I was nervous about being pressured into a sale but it was the opposite. Tyler Duncan put me at ease immediately. He was so professional yet so personable and informative. He gave me all the options of a recliner that I was interested in. He, never one time, made me feel pressured. He is very knowledgeable and let me make my own decisions at which thanks to him, I purchased a beautiful recliner with a warranty too! My husband and I were looking for a sleeper sofa. Tyler was super helpful. He showed us what was available on the floor and offered to show us online options, as well. After he gave us the information we needed, he left us alone to roam around the showroom - there was no pushiness to make the sale, which we appreciated. We left very pleased and owners of a beautiful sleeper sofa, oversized chair and ottoman.

Don’t buy there furniture!!!!!!!!!!!! So to start me and my girlfriend has bought two couches from them at two different times . And have not had nothing but trouble out of both times .The first time bought a from them payed over $3,000 plus bought the best warranty 600.00 and the warranty was supposed to cover if anything Happens to it and any stains that is a bold face lie and telling you do not buy it they will find any and every loop hole to get out of it so they don’t have pay for it.Do not but the warranty a scam My first couch the stitching in the fabric started coming out . And the boards was broke in the bottom . And the fabric was scratched on the back from delivery bring it in the house . We called the store in Arden and they told us we had to go through the warranty company and told us the store could not do nothing . So we called the warranty company and file a claim and they kept telling us they will sending some one out out and get it fix . Wait for 5 to 6 months calling them every week and for the warranty company to tell us they will not cover anything the unraveling stitching, the scratch on back from them moving it in house , the broke wood slots,or the stains when the warranty was supposed to cover everything. So called the store back told them that the warranty that they sold us would not cover anything that was going wrong with the couch that it was pretty much just a scam to scam us out of $600. Well, I’m getting ready to move from one house to another house And we kept calling both warranty and the store them pretty much both blaming it on each other to tell us to call that person or that person tell us to call the other then Ashley store in Arden told us to call and file another claim so we called to file another claim and then the warranty place tells us Because we are moving to a new house, the warranty will be avoid so do not buy the warranty and do not buy nothing from Ashley furniture..So on the second couch and recliner set that we bought, I didn’t even want to go through them because bad experience, my girlfriend told me to give them another chance she was going to go through online so she went ahead and bought a 4000.00 sectional recliner and literally only had the sectional For a week and 1/2 and it started having problems with one of the reclining chairs it sagged down and feels as if it is not right and when you try to push in the recliner, you have to literally get up and push it in with your hands because it doesn’t wanna go in it feels like the armrest on the left of it is hanging down more than what it should so we called and told the store because it was within the 30 days and now it’s going on January and they keep telling us that they were going to send somebody out for the last two or three months nobody’s came out or did anything we keep calling them, and then we even gave them time because of the Christmas And holidays so we called them again today pretty much told us they don’t know anything About it and then they said they did find it that we reported it but they’re waiting on parts to be Delivered and ordered they’ve never been here once to see exactly what’s going on with the couch and recliner So just for a heads up, I would not recommend them for no furniture both times I’ve had nothing but problems with the furniture in the store with both times buying a couch through them Over $7000 in furniture and have not had nothing but problems with the furniture falling apart within weeks of having it and then still having problems with the store so I do not recommend buying no furniture Save your money and go somewhere else that has better quality and better warranties and do not I mean do not buy the extended platinum plus warranty because there is nothing but a scam In the store, they wanna be all nice and friendly on the inside so you buy It’s your problem.And even bought a $600.0 + coffee table With the reclining sectional And when they brought the coffee table in, I just brought it in a Set it to the side and said $150-$200 for them to put it together.

Sarah was so nice and kind.. she helped me through the process swiftly, thoroughly, and efficiently which was exactly what I needed since we just bought a new home. What a great way to start of our first time home buying experience with a beautiful sectional.

After a move to NC, I spoke with Chris at the Ashley Store in Arden. Chris was able to move me in the right direction for the reclining loveseat we desired. The entire transaction was done on-line and over the phone (we actually had seen the piece while still in SC). Chris was very professional and thorough in making this happen!

We had an awful experience at carolina concepts and didn’t want to even think about speaking to someone to help us get a couch because they were so rude over there. We walked in to just take a look at some couches not even thinking we would find a couch. Erica helped us show everything that we were looking for. We wanted a nice sectional that would hold up with dogs and a lot of hosting. She was amazing from start to finish. We didn’t feel pressured to buy, she didn’t push things onto us, she was super patient, and even let us take a couple throw pillows home to test out the colors of the couch in our house. Super pleased & love the couch that she helped us pick out.

I have shopped for over a decade at Ashley's Furniture on Tunnel Rd. Every 3 years or so I need a mattress or table or something & have been fortunate that the young man who has assisted me every time is the one who assists me. His name is Robbie and you're lucky if you get him. I don't typically ask for breaks on price or anything and yet by the time he's prepared the invoice he has added built-in benefits that I had no idea existed as an option and which reduce my overall cost. He's a keeper. I think more of the company knowing that they are smart enough to keep a young man like that in their employee. Well done.

Went in looking for a couch, we found the same couch at several other stores for much cheaper. We asked about price matching and they said they would however the final amount was not much less at all. The couch we were looking at was $999 and they had a 20% sale going in store, we found it elsewhere for $670. They offered $850. Went home and did the chat with an associate on their website who easily price matched the couch much lower than $670. Definitely check prices elsewhere and price match through their website!

I needed to replace a bed rail that had split during a move. I tried to order it online and couldn't do that. I went into the store and received help from the nicest man! I ordered the replacement on a Monday and it is to be delivered within a week. Thank you, Joe, for making this an easy experience!

Unfortunately we decided to cancel our order after discovering that the associated paperwork included terms and conditions that were fairly standard, but not disclosed to us during the purchase. The sales representative signed the paperwork where I should have. My fault as well for not catching it until getting home. I don’t like doing business that way.

We dealt with a salesman named TJ. First person we saw was TJ and he did not pressure us. We looked around and when our mind was made up he was there to help. We came back a few days later and added to our order. We will use him again as a salesman. He had very good knowledge about the furniture we were looking at. Great salesman. Ms. S Jarvis’s warm greeting from the time I entered the store made me feel like one of them. She toured me to all the Bedroom choices showing the differences in how they were made and letting me choose the style that fitted what I was looking for.. She took her time and answered all my questions. She showed me the difference in drawers and how they opened and closed and the style they were made from. After reviewing all of them I knew exactly what I wanted. She worked with me on the price and ended up selling me the King Size bedroom suite with a King Size purple mattress. I needed to purchase a lift recliner for my 99 year old father in Hendersonville. I am in California. I called Ashley for help. TJ answered the phone in the Ashley store. What happened next is incredible. TJ found the perfect chair for my dad. He set up an appointment for my dad to be driven to the store to meet him and try out the chair. My dad loved the chair. Then TJ personally delivered that chair to my dad the next day instead of waiting for it to be delivered normally eleven days later. We went shopping for a couch on a rainy Saturday evening. We were met by a friendly sales associate Sarah Jarvis who greeted us and allowed us to look around with no pressure which was nice. After a little looking she could sense that we needed help and was quick to ask if she could help. And boy did she help us! She was so incredible! She was very thorough and educated and knew how to operate the reclining furniture that we were looking at. She knew about the fabrics and explained everything about each piece of furniture we looked at as though she made it herself. She made us feel at ease. Her rapport and relational attitude was very thorough and respectful from beginning to end. We left there feeling joyful and satisfied with our experience. I would definitely recommend this place with her as its representative to anyone looking to buy furniture.

Mostly satisfied. TJ was great; he found every discount possible for me. Erica was pretty knowledgeable to be new. It was a little upsetting that she told my granddaughter to spill the dyed water on the sofa (their demonstration strategy) and then got agitated that it ran down in the cracks. A couple of other things I didn’t like was having to pay for shipping yet you don’t get the option to pick it up yourself, and delivery of the mattress will be a month before the base to the mattress will be delivered.

TJ was amazing and helped me pick out my bedroom furniture. I have a hard time making decisions but he was very helpful asking pertinent questions and made the decision process very easy.

Can't say enough. Always very cordial, willing to help and save you money. We have spent quite a few dollars at this store, off and on for the last year. Customer service is A1. One of my orders was short one screw for a bed and the store manager and I disassembled a floor model. She was great and went the extra mile. We have used Erik (with a 'K') as our salesperson. Great guy. I recommend Erik as you cannot go wrong.

I did not get the sofa I wanted. My credit application was rejected because my information was incorrect in their system. The salesperson wanted to up-charge everything until I was in massive debt. She kept saying it would cost more if I did not get everything at one time, despite the fact that I said I had a budget. It was an awful experience. They texted me later and I asked for a less expensive couch and was told I would not like it as well. So there you go. Terrible. BTW their delivery fee is 200 dollars to get your furniture on a day that is horribly inconvenient. I ordered online at Ashley home and my new couch is being delivered 7/12 when I can be home without missing work. 99 dollar white glove delivery. Avoid these predatory stores.

We visited Ashley over Memorial Day weekend looking to purchase a loveseat and recliner. We were greeted by TJ upon entering the showroom. He guided us to what we were looking for, answered our questions, and gave us space and time to make our choices. He took us through the sale and set up delivery in a professional and efficient manner. TJ has a great personality and excellent product knowledge. He made the whole process enjoyable. This is our second visit to and second purchase from this Ashley store. We highly recommend them and will be back!
