Ashley Store Arden, NC

Went in looking for a couch, we found the same couch at several other stores for much cheaper. We asked about price matching and they said they would however the final amount was not much less at all. The couch we were looking at was $999 and they had a 20% sale going in store, we found it elsewhere for $670. They offered $850. Went home and did the chat with an associate on their website who easily price matched the couch much lower than $670. Definitely check prices elsewhere and price match through their website!

Erica was wonderful helping us find furniture for my dad's assisted living apartment. I highly recommend Ashley furniture and Erica in particular.

I needed to replace a bed rail that had split during a move. I tried to order it online and couldn't do that. I went into the store and received help from the nicest man! I ordered the replacement on a Monday and it is to be delivered within a week. Thank you, Joe, for making this an easy experience!

Unfortunately we decided to cancel our order after discovering that the associated paperwork included terms and conditions that were fairly standard, but not disclosed to us during the purchase. The sales representative signed the paperwork where I should have. My fault as well for not catching it until getting home. I don’t like doing business that way.

We dealt with a salesman named TJ. First person we saw was TJ and he did not pressure us. We looked around and when our mind was made up he was there to help. We came back a few days later and added to our order. We will use him again as a salesman. He had very good knowledge about the furniture we were looking at. Great salesman. There was an older gentleman by the name of Steve. As soon as we walked in the door he welcomed us very kindly. Every piece of furniture we were interested in, he had extreme knowledge of. He not only helped us every step of the way but he made us laugh more than a few times as well, and that’s hard to do when spending money.

My experience with Ashley’s Furniture was a refreshing experience after shopping several weeks at the local furniture stores and online. Ms. S Jarvis’s warm greeting from the time I entered the store made me feel like one of them. She toured me to all the Bedroom choices showing the differences in how they were made and letting me choose the style that fitted what I was looking for.. She took her time and answered all my questions. She showed me the difference in drawers and how they opened and closed and the style they were made from. After reviewing all of them I knew exactly what I wanted. She worked with me on the price and ended up selling me the King Size bedroom suite with a King Size purple mattress. Ms. Jarvis made it easy for me to make a decision. I left happy and satisfied I made the perfect choice. It was definitely a 5 star experience with Sarah and the rest of the staff who help assist me. In both instances we were greeted by sales staff who were provided a quick overview of their sales floor and offered further assistance or the freedom to walk around with no pressure. When it came time to answer questions our salesman, Joe Nuckolls, was ready to field any and all questions, break out a tape measure, do whatever we needed to arrive at the right answer, But at no time did we feel any pressure to buy. He pointed out areas of the store where we could find dining room sets and then didn’t hover, but let us explore. However, he was readily available for questions and told us about any available discounts. He provided a detailed price quote and information on delivery. Overall, a pleasant and successful shopping experience.

I needed to purchase a lift recliner for my 99 year old father in Hendersonville. I am in California. I called Ashley for help. TJ answered the phone in the Ashley store. What happened next is incredible. TJ found the perfect chair for my dad. He set up an appointment for my dad to be driven to the store to meet him and try out the chair. My dad loved the chair. Then TJ personally delivered that chair to my dad the next day instead of waiting for it to be delivered normally eleven days later. We are thrilled by the extraordinary care and service we received from TJ and Ashley! Not to mention that the chair was on sale, saving us hundreds of dollars. I don’t normally write reviews like this. But TJ’s attention to our family was spectacular!

Mostly satisfied. TJ was great; he found every discount possible for me. Erica was pretty knowledgeable to be new. It was a little upsetting that she told my granddaughter to spill the dyed water on the sofa (their demonstration strategy) and then got agitated that it ran down in the cracks. A couple of other things I didn’t like was having to pay for shipping yet you don’t get the option to pick it up yourself, and delivery of the mattress will be a month before the base to the mattress will be delivered.

I did not get the sofa I wanted. My credit application was rejected because my information was incorrect in their system. The salesperson wanted to up-charge everything until I was in massive debt. She kept saying it would cost more if I did not get everything at one time, despite the fact that I said I had a budget. It was an awful experience. They texted me later and I asked for a less expensive couch and was told I would not like it as well. So there you go. Terrible. BTW their delivery fee is 200 dollars to get your furniture on a day that is horribly inconvenient. I ordered online at Ashley home and my new couch is being delivered 7/12 when I can be home without missing work. 99 dollar white glove delivery. Avoid these predatory stores.

★☆☆☆☆ Do Not Buy If You Have Back Issues — Disappointing Mattress + Useless 10-Year Warranty I’m a normal-sized person who bought an Ashley Furniture “Chime” mattress with a 10-year warranty — but after just 4 years, it sagged badly and needed replacing. When I tried to use the warranty, they told me it was void because I’d moved just two hours away. Ashley stores operate in small regional groups, so the store near me couldn’t help. The manager offered a “discount” basically equal to the sale price — but only if I bought from the original store. Bottom line: if you move, Ashley’s warranty is worthless. Customer service made sure to point out the fine print on the last page of the contract stating that if the furniture is moved the warranty is void and stated “rules are rules.” I hope this review is as helpful as they were.

This place is a joke. We bought a couch and had it delivered to our house. The delivery guys dropped it and broke a leg on the couch. Ashley offered a terrible refund and basically denied us any real refund. I don’t ever post reviews but the customer service here was pretty offensive. Join me in steering clear from this place.

We just stumbled up on the living room furniture set that we purchased. We went in to shop (not to buy) and found a great deal on clearance. But it was the way our salesman Robby treated us that is quite memorable. We were treated with respect and he made the experience fun. He even found a way to make the extended warranty more affordable. I recommend the store on Airport Road in Arden and we highly recommend that you find Robby Mintz and let him take care of you. After five years, if we haven't made a claim on our extended warranty, we can use the full purchase price of the warranty as a store credit. Hard to believe, I know. It was a verbal statement so I will return in five years to let you know if they really honor that statement.

Upon arrival Erik greeted us and directed us to what we were looking for. He left us alone to look and then followed up with us after a bit. He was very helpful and informative. We didn't buy right away. We returned about 30 minutes later to make the purchase. Erik had left for the day. Robbie helped us and assured Erik would get the sale. Robbie did a great job in walking us through the process. I certainly recommend this location.

We went to the store looking for a small sofa and the manager showed us a number of pieces. Then my husband spotted a loveseat that was wonderful but a bit long. I ruled it out but after sleeping overnight, we wanted it. The manager wasn't in but a very knowledgeable sales guy named Erik worked to answer all my questions and write a contract that matched the manager's quote. We appreciate Erik!

I ordered a couch 2/28. The first delivery, the men delivering the couch ripped the fabric. No big deal, they took the couch back and then set up a new delivery date. Couch was brought to our house with the wrong cushion and no feet. Called Ashley, they said they would send both cushion and feet. Only feet were sent, called Ashley to ask about the cushion. They said they had to deliver the cushion because it was too large to send in the mail. My partner took off work for delivery and they texted us that they were coming and would be there in 15 min. Then we get a call saying that the appointment was cancelled with no explanation at the end of the delivery estimated arrival. At this point, I am so frustrated and would warn people to not buy at Ashley. No compensation has been offered and we still don’t have the correct couch about 2 months after ordering.

Rob made my buying experience easy. He is so friendly and really knows his stuff. It was a pleasure to work with him to get the living room I have been wanting, and the prices were really great too.

Our sales associate, Robert Mintz, was fantastic. He welcomed us, aimed us to what we were looking for and made himself available to answer our questions without being intrusive. He gave us info about how the chairs were made and we found something that matched all our needs. The selection in the store is plentiful.

I went into the store multiple times checking for what I wanted testing different chairs and sofas. sales people were always very kind and low pressure. When I decided to buy the sales person was quick and efficient. Let me know on my options, but was not pushy.

I paid in full a month ago for a 5000 dollar bedroom suite and was supposed to be delivered and assembled April 9th when we moved in our new house. Now they are saying the headboard for bed hasn’t arrived and can’t give us a definite answer of when it will come. Calling corporate Monday morning

Had an excellent experience all around. Went in looking for a loveseat we had seen online. Was shown a larger unit that we were able to test. Ordered to be delivered and went extremely smoothly. Three weeks later loveseat was delivered with excellent tracking and delivery updates. It was brought into our home and installed where we asked no questions.

I came in to browse and he left me too look and know he was there when I was ready or had questions then wasn't able to come back in for a week and he remembered me and was able to help. He was very informative about the delivery process and saved me from having a hard time. I'm very impressed with the customer service I have received and will definitely be back to this location for service. I live closer to the Spartanburg location but will continue to come to the Arden store.
