I have never purchased furniture so easily as today. The customer service was excellent. Keith was very knowledgeable and gave us no pressure whatsoever. Everyone was very patient and friendly. I was surprised with the variety of furniture they had. They really do have something for everyone.

Had a great experience this weekend when we and my wife went shopping for a furniture suite. We were greeted by Mr. Charles Thomas who pointed us in the right direction for what we were looking for. Charles gave us all the time and space we needed but was also there to answer any questions we had. At no time did we feel pressured into anything! There are four handicap ♿️ parking spaces and many free parking spaces. The store is in excellent shape and well organized. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about sofas, beds, and all things related to furniture. Overall, my friend Joseph got a good deal on his new sofa.

Welp, I've never had a shopping experience like that before! We walked in with intentions to buy outdoor furniture during their Labor Day sale. We were greeted by Keith immediately. Within a matter of 10 minutes, we found what we were looking for. Beautiful furniture, on sale delivered and assembled on our schedule = the dream! What made the experience so memorable was Keith's attention to our experience. He was kind accommodating, knowledgeable, and extremely personable! We had the best time! If ever we need furniture again we will go back to Ashley and see Keith.

Ordered a couch from online 1 month ago. Initially asked for Aug 15th delivery. Constant emails for getting an earlier delivery. Scheduled it for Aug 1st. Never showed up after waiting 5 hours. Told by Customer service they had the wrong number. Only correct numbers provided at the time of order and at the time of customer service call. Tried again on Aug 9th, knowing I would have to leave work . Got an email saying Oops we hit a snag and to reschedule order. Went back to the original date of Aug 15th. Continued to get emails saying it could be delivered sooner. Sent email to customer service saying my correct phone number. On delivery date got a tracking email....your delivery is 3 stops away...2 stops away.. 1 stop away....onthe way. Then email saying unable to complete. I called the driver number provided to say this is the right number and we are waiting. Never showed up. They still have the wrong number on the tracking despite me correcting it several times with a human and online. Canceled my order. Poor customer service. Never will buy from them again and nor will my household. They are corporate America so they won't care about an individual. They only want people's money and as long as they are getting it from others they will just roll on. Meanwhile list 10 hours out of my life waiting for something I badly wanted. Never again.

Walked in Ashley furniture today with a certain list of what I wanted. Come to find out I had searched from a total different company. So Patrick aka ( Joel Osteen) lol was so polite in helping us and allowing us to Rome the whole store, just like we did when we was kids. Hahaha. Not only did he go out of his way to match up the perfect recliner for my husband's enjoyment. So Thank you Patrick for all your kindness and helpfulness. You made our day less painful. Today was our second visit to this Ashley Store this month. We had purchased two pieces of furniture the first time, and came back the second time for two more pieces of furniture. On both occasions we dealt with Patrick Martinez. He’s knowledgeable of the Ashley Store products, but more importantly is just a very positive, friendly person who never put any pressure on us. He was also extremely helpful in setting up our future delivery date. While waiting for Patrick to finish up with another customer, I happened to speak with the GM, Brian, and one other staff person. Like Patrick, they are very friendly as well, offering any additional assistance or a bottle of water. This Ashley Store has a very good variety of furniture on the floor that is fairly priced, and again, a super friendly and accommodating staff. Just a very pleasant shopping experience. Bought recliners after pushy salesmen kept at me and pretended he took money off and gave me a deal but they were already on sale. The chairs aren't comfortable and have no cushion at all inside sides. No support at all near lumbar and once chair is reclined its a big open gap at lower back. Can't return or I absolutely would. What a waste of all that money. 👎🏼

My friend and I visited the Ashley furniture store on River Hills Rd looking for various pieces, including a couch, a bed, and a dining room table. Associate Keith Flynn was attentive and close by to answer questions but not annoying (following you around and asking you questions the whole time). After I walked the showroom floor and asked questions about a few pieces, he was helpful in pointing out pieces that might work based on what I was looking for. I bought a couch and my friend bought a bed, pleased with the service we received and happy with the choices we made.

On Feb. 1st my daughter and I went to Ashley's to look at living room furniture. Devon met us with a smile and asked what we were looking to find. I purchased a floor lamp. Sales team were helpful and cordial- average, which is all I expect. When associate was packing my lamp a glass shade on the lamp broke. That to me was not a big deal. I was promised they’d order me a new shade. That was 3 weeks ago and no shade. I called the store to find out. No call back. So I ordered new glass shades on Amazon. I love the lamp. That’s why I’m being generous with 3 stars.

Visited the Ashley store at 111 River Hills Rd in Asheville NC and had a wonderful shopping experience and ordered two recliners! Our sales expert, Devon, was a delight as was his sales supervisor, Alicia. They even went so far as to have a chair, that had just been delivered, assembled and brought to the sales floor so we could see the color. Now that is customer service! The sales floor is clean and organized with furnishings beautifully displayed. I highly recommend a visit!

Ashley might get some smaller pieces of furniture in the store. Not everyone has a great big house anymore.

I entered the store in Asheville about 30-40 minutes before closing, honestly not thinking that I would find what I was looking for, and I definitely didn’t think I would have such a good time. Keith is a gem. I did find what I was looking for, and I love it, but it was the experience I value the most. Keith helped me so attentively and kept the store open for about 40 or so minutes longer until I was all set. I understand he’s in sales, but he was so helpful and nice I think he’s just a really cool guy, and I enjoyed shopping with him.

They never removed tags from furniture (we had lots of furniture). Asked them to move a sofa to a diff place in room and they huffed and puffed about it. The delivery ppl also caused a gash in our front door frame. Some of the dining room chairs were chipped. They did send new backs. Still, 6 months later, have not come out to put them together nor offered to fix the damage to our door. Tried calling store in Asheville NC and even speak to our sales person. No response...just crickets. Very disappointed with the delivery and aftercare we have or rather have not received. Great to get you to buy...but after that, apparently you're on your own.

Go anywhere but here. Literally anywhere. We ordered $7300 worth of furniture in December of 2022. We received only half of our order and of that half two pieces arrived broken. So far we have recieved 3 replacement pieces of furniture and now we are requesting a refund as we have never had a working/complete couch. They have refused to refund us and tell us to call customer service who then tell us to contact the store. It's miserable. We also still don't have the rest of our bedroom set. Do you research on Ashley as a company before you do business with them. This has happened to several other people after they have accepted your money.

I have been a very satisfied Ashley customer since my first online purchase in 2019. I needed to furnish a tiny guest bedroom in a tiny mountaintop house. I found the perfect set online. It was delivered via the treacherous one lane gravel road to my house. No problem at all for the delivery team. It arrived in perfect condition and was expertly assembled. Fast forward to December 2022. I sold that house completely furnished and moved closer in to town. It was time to do some major furniture shopping. I am one of those customers who spends hours researching online before buying. My search led me back to Ashley. I found a perfect bedroom set. I also found Ashley’s Texline Dual Power Recliner in gray leather. I would never have believed a recliner could look so incredibly cool. So I bought three of them to set up a home theater in my basement. Since this was a large purchase, I wanted to have a look at these items in the store. I was graciously greeted by Grace Green. Grace showed me the pieces I had selected. She was very knowledgeable regarding the products. I noticed that the prices in the store were slightly higher and Grace immediately informed me that she would price match. Needless to say the sale was made. The process of the computer work was tedious as she had to go through item by item, including the 5 year protection plan for the power recliners and the delivery charges, in order to lower the prices. She quickly and efficiently completed this task. When her work was complete the total cost was just under the total that I would have spent if I had ordered online. Even better, the delivery time for ordering in-store was significantly shorter. Everything was once again delivered in pristine condition and perfectly assembled. Those recliners weigh 186 pounds each. No problem for the delivery team again. The only question with which I was left was why there was a difference in price between online and in-store. I was to learn the answer to that question when I returned to Ashley to purchase a bookcase today. Exactly as before, I spent hours online looking for a large bookcase that fit my space and decor. Only Ashley had what I was looking for. Returning to the store today I was greeted by Reese Stoffo. I showed him the piece I had selected and he immediately recognized it and led me to the display on the showroom floor. Demonstrating thorough product knowledge, Reese showed me other bookcase options in the Starmore collection. I chose to purchase the larger piece. I noticed as before a slightly higher price displayed in-store. Reese explained the corporate structure of Ashley which consists of its online shopping site, corporately owned stores, and franchised stores. This young man really knows that of which he speaks. And just as before, Reese cheerfully informed me that he would arrange for the online price to be matched. And again the delivery time was much faster than what was offered online; one week as opposed to three weeks. While Reese was inputing the order I began a conversation with one of the management team. Alicia Syms was also a wealth of knowledge. Each of my experiences with Grace, Reese, and Alicia was perfectly professional and customer centric. After completing the purchase I stayed looking at other items in the store just for the fun of it. I am a bit of a furniture fanatic and Reese and Alicia obviously share my enthusiasm. I certainly recommend Ashley as a furniture store. But I even more highly recommend and appreciate the in-store experience provided courtesy of Grace, Reese, and Alicia.

Absolutely LOVE Ashley Furniture...but the reason why--is our Salesman, Rich Rogers. He is the ABSOLUTE BEST salesman that I have ever had the pleasure working with. He was genuine and REAL. He was helpful and offered the BEST deal. I oringinally came there fore some bed frames and I walked out of there buying THREE mattresses. We were building a home and he let me know that they would deliver them when we WERE ready. So few weeks later, I returned and bought another mattress for my Bedroom and brought my husband. They were so short staffed, but her worked so hard trying to take care of us. He has gone out of his way for SERVICE, calling us personally and allowing us to reach out and talk with him specifically. He has gone above and beyond to solve some hiccups re: upcoming delivery and HE is making it happen. Thankful for this service --but most of ALL--Rich!! Thanks for everything!

I called before we drove nearly 2 hours to see if they had a certain pillow. I spoke to Rich, he said they did and he’d give me a good deal on the pillow when I got there. We got there and walked in, asked for Rich and the guy advised us he’d meet us in the back where the pillows were. Let’s just say, we got to know Rich a little and we’re very pleased with our pillow purchase BUT we also purchased a mattress from him as well!! Rich is down to earth, will sit and chat with you…if you have the time, truly cares about his customers and wants your future business!! Salesman went way beyond customer service to help me. I needed lift chair for medical reasons. He made SURE I got what I needed on the same day I shopped online. Even sold me display model so I could get it quicker! And Black Friday price as well!
We stopped in to take a look, as we had been to other furniture stores to compare. We were greeted upon entering by Evan, who offered assistance. We looked briefly and found and fell in love with a sectional, coffee table and end table. All our questions were answered by Evan, and we decided this was it. Purchase completed with a timely delivery date .
Rich Rogers was the sales associate who assisted me. Very pleasant, professional and informative. Was not pushy.
Warning, Caution, Beware. I spent around $6000 dollars at Ashley furniture and the experience was absolutely awful. I was lied to by every single department, and twice by supervisors in customer service. It took over 6 deliveries of mismatched, broken and wrong things, and 3 months, to get all my furniture while being lied to during the whole process. I was assured by the second supervisor with whom I spoke to many times and seemed helpful, that once all my deliveries were completed that she would refund me for all the trouble and wasted time I was put through. After the final delivery was finally made, she would not take any of my calls. I called 3 times a week for 2-3 weeks and every time she was busy and I was told she would get back to me, which she never did. This company does not care at all about its customers. There is a Facebook page not run by Ashley that helps people who have been wronged by them and you should read some of these stories. Look them up on the BBB, check out the Facebook page and beware.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I bought a dining table with 6 chairs. 5 of the chairs are wobbly. And the are chips and scratches. Ashley told me that they didn't accept returns after they were accepted but all the chairs and table were on one box and I didn't pay extra for them to put it together. So I didn't realize it was damaged until I opened the box. I called and was told that I would receive $140 refunded for the damages and it would take 3 to 5 days for it show up on my card. After a week I never received a refund so I called back and was on the phone for over an hour and all they offered me was $100 back and said that there weren't any notes on my previous conversation and they couldn't offer me any more and they couldn't take returns. What am I supposed to do with wobbly chairs. If I had wanted rocking chairs I would have bought rocking chairs. And the scratches in furniture and we're the paint is rubbed off. It looks bad
I tried and tried to find a used loveseat to no avail. So I went to Ashley as I was so tired and needed furniture after my move with guests coming. Rich literally met me at the door, asked what I needed, listened to my responses, and took me around the store to find what I wanted. He even offered to wear a face mask when he saw I had one on. He was helpful but not clingy and gave me some time to work it out on my own. I probably asked him the same questions about price, delivery, size, etc. over and over, but he was so patient and gave me answers. This was the first time I ever bought a piece of new furniture and Rich made it as painless as possible. Delivery was the next week. I do think they sent me way too many texts about delivery, but my guess is they probably get folks not show so they want to make sure that they can do the delivery. Worth a stop and ask for Rich if he is there.

Shopping here went so smoothly for my family and 1.5 year old. We were greeted by a super nice and non pressuring salesman Patrick that guided us to options that we could consider. Ultimately we picked out a couch and ottoman and the overall process was super easy and smooth.
It was a pleasant experience and Rich and Patrick were both very helpful. We had a credit due from an unused protection plan on a previous purchase that required extra paperwork and Patrick made sure it was properly applied in full. The sofa was in stock and delivered on schedule, the delivery team was first rate and very professional.

We went into Ashley home furniture to just look around; when we didn’t see what we wanted we decided to leave. On our way to the door the salesman stopped us and said he’d strike us a deal on the couch we were looking at, and that he had the chair we wanted online. We felt pressured into buying the couch because “we were getting such a good deal”. We had our old couch removed from our home because we were going on vacation the week prior to the couches “delivery”. We thought it’d come on it’s scheduled date, the day after we got back from vacation, because that’s what we were told. They said they had it at the warehouse and we could have it delivered ASAP. Unfortunately, we were lied to. Fast forward two weeks we have family coming in for the fourth, still no couch. We decide we’ll just pick up the one piece at the warehouse and put it together ourselves, but no one told us they only pick up day is Saturday. Very professional Ashley home 😒. In conclusion, I strongly advise you to shop at Ashley home furniture if you want to sit/sleep on a bail of hay for a month while waiting for the furniture you were promised!! 😊
it was my first experience shipping at an Ashley Store. The sales lady was very nice and helpful. We were needing new furniture for our new mobile home. We will definitely be shopping there again

Went in looking for a lift recliner for my husband after surgery. Told them I needed it sooner rather than later. Found one that I was assured was in the distribution center and would be delivered June 6. When June 6 came and no one contacted us, I called only to be told that they NEVER deliver on Mondays and the chair wasn’t at the distribution center yet. When I asked when it would arrive, I was told they didn’t have a date but it would be one day in June!!! They absolutely lied to get a sale! I would cancel my order but no one has these chairs in stock and my husband is tall and can’t fit in all of them. BUYER BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE IN ASHEVILLE.

I purchased furniture from this store over a month ago. When delivered, the guys took the wrong set off the truck and had it almost assembled before I saw that it was the wrong set. They refused to take the time to put mine together all the way because they had to get to the next stop. Said they'd be back, then reported to their boss that not all the hardware was included to cover their backs. So I had to wait for the supposed missing hardware to be mailed for another week and half. Then we waited another week + for the rescheduled time for another assembly team to come. On that day, they claimed they could not find the house even though it's clearly marked. I will never use this company again. I don't care about their excuses that the delivery truck is a contracted out company. There needs to be way more accountability. I'm done with Ashley Furniture.
My husband and I bought our first home and needed a new mattress and dining set! Patti was so helpful with our needs, requests, and budget. With our house being a new build and the closing date being able to change, she assured us we can change the delivery and installation if needed! Outstanding experience today at Asheville's Ashley store! Right off the bat, Nick Rock was more than pleasant; gave me the space and time to check things out. He drew out my floor plan with dimensions on two different couches I was interested in, let me borrow his tape measure and explained every financing option until my heart was content. Nick is so patient, no pressure, straight forward and I can say I had FUN couch shopping this time around :) Angela Coats in customer care is wonderful and was more than helpful answering all my questions. I got a discount too!! There's nothing like actually trying out the couch you'll be enjoying with your family and friends for years to come!! I ordered a bed a year ago from Ashley online only for them to cancel my order after waiting that long.. Rich contacted me and had my bed to me in less than 2 months! He’s awesome I will recommend him to everyone! Ask for him if you want your stuff faster!
Went into the store to buy a dining room table in January. Was told I would receive it no later than April and still have not received it. I've also received no updates on the furniture in 4 months as well.
Rich was was awesome. He listened to what we needed and wasn’t pushy. Had a wealth of knowledge about all that we needed. Will do all our furnishings through Ashley furniture and Rich.
I bought an amazing couch a few months ago from Rich, then came back yesterday to buy a mattress. He is a wonderful person and salesman. Super knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I definitely recommend asking for him if you shopping for furniture or a mattress.

Don’t buy nothing from these people it’s been 2 months since I made my purchase and I haven’t received it yet. They blaming it on the ships that’s just sitting in the ocean. Then they want to charge me 10% to cancel. The salesmen never mention that it could take months he told me 4 to 6 weeks it been that and more. I will never in all my life purchase anything from them again. Order from Wayfair anybody but Ashley.

The shopping experience was nice and easy thanks to John. He compared on floor and online to help us get what we wanted at a good price for our budget. We need a couch asap and he double checked availability to get us the fastest option. I'm sad that we couldn't pick it up ourselves but I understand limited space as a new store. He scheduled for delivery next month. After the purchase we did get a text warning a 6 month wait sometimes. I will update after the delivery.
These folks go above and beyond! Rich and Patti have taken great care of my wife and I as we just bought a new house and needed furniture. There’s been a few hiccups along the way and Rich went above and beyond to make the situation right for us and we could not be more appreciative. I highly recommend them for all of your furniture and furnishings needs!
Yes there are quality items for reasonable prices. However the supply chain issues impact hard. We had to pay the asking price for two recliners in October 2021 when we ordered them. We did not actually receive the chairs until January 2022. It was hard to get a call back from our salesman until late December. The final is that the staff who deliver the chairs are forceful, did not clean up the delivery trash and were pushy about us calling Ashley to say the delivery went fine.
Good in store service and attention. Unfortunately our sales associate told us that we would be getting our furniture delivered way before the holidays. With lines such as I bet it will come sooner than expected and “I’m seeing a delivery date so you will get it on time.” We are about 4 days before the holidays and still no news of when our furniture will be ready. Tried to get in touch with the store but this store is just a franchise with Ashley which makes it a little bit more complicated to get help from. They will only refund the order with a 10% cancellation fee even though the order is late saying that they have 6 months to deliver!!! What!!?? My advise is go with somewhere local where you won’t get false time lines on when an item will be ready. Finally got part of my couch on 12/23. Still waiting on the other part, but delivery service was great!

This store is brand new in town, and I’m happy to see that since I’ve been an Ashley customer for many years. Staff in the store are helpful but not pushy. Patti was friendly and courteous during my visit to the store to look at a dining set I had seen online. She provided me a quote, explained warranty and delivery options, and gave me her contact information, then made it even easier a few days later by assisting me with placing the order over the phone. I’m looking forward to receiving the new set in a few weeks. I highly recommend Ashley Homestore Asheville!

The paid delivery is a scam. They left the trash and packing materials, and the couch in thmiddle of the room. Terrible customer service. When I called customer service and explained my that there was no screws to put the legs on they were rude and condescending, and said they mail them ups no idea date on delivery. Don't give them money or believe the sales person mine was a lady and she said anything to get the sale. The white glive delivery is a total scam.

I had a great experience at the store on River Hills in Asheville. Rich was very knowledgeable on the products, he wasn't super pushy to make the sale (which can be frustrating), and he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I wasn't sure about making such a big purchase, so I left to grab some food and think about it, and Rich didn't push me to stay and make a decision right then. Overall it was a great experience, Rich was awesome, and I can't wait to get my new furniture!! Edit: After waiting almost a year for my furniture only to have them say that my credit had changed so I would need to pay in full, I was far less pleased. It took about 20 phone calls and me going into the store several times, but I was finally able to return the few items I had received, and I canceled the rest. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm just now seeing a 450 dollar charge from them when all of this was supposed to be settled months ago. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Dropped by this evening to check out couches. Came in kinda already knowing what I was looking for (Had a list of collections in mind). Rich and his Associate were awesome at getting me pointed in the right direction and were super friendly with great conversation. Then also patient while I had to go and be goldilocks around the whole store checking out all of the couches. Ended up walking out with an Alcona Queen Sleeper sofa purchased. One of the most pleasant furniture store experiences I've had. Feel like most of the time at other stores, either there's nobody in sight, or they're hovering the whole time. Not the case, here. Perfect balance of "Anything we can help you find?" and "Feel free to browse, we're right here if you need us." Was a great, friendly experience, and will definitely be going back for any future furniture purchases. Just moved into a new apartment, so there'll likely be more.
