You’ll find our Ashley Burlington showroom at 1439 University Drive, in the same shopping center as Target and about a mile from Alamance Crossing. I will not buy from this location again. I went into the store at the end of November to purchase a kitchen table and 4 chairs as a Christmas present for my parents. We were helped by Shawn that day. He confirmed what I wanted and ordered it. We ordered it unassembled so that it would come in boxes just like Shawn confirmed also. The shipment arrived and we received 2 chairs instead of 4 and the table was in pieces wrapped in moving blankets not in a box and also no instructions to put it together. My husband went up to the store where he found out Shawn had not ordered 4 chairs he only ordered 2 but were charged for almost the price of 4 and we were put under “white glove” deliver where it comes in pieces. Henry was very helpful and super kind to my husband!

Terrible business, terrible service if I could give a zero star I would
After 5 months of waiting for a coffee table you guys wouldn’t even give me the hand to pull my rug out.. I understand your policy but at least give me the decency and help me it would have taken all but 30 seconds. Not only is Ashley furniture ever getting a single cent from me again I’m also never advising anyone ever to buy anything from this company again. Burlington North Carolina location sold me the furniture back in May, told me it was a 5-7 week delivery which turned into 5 months… I had actually gone into the store after waiting 4 or so months and they proceeded to even forget that my order was even placed! Terrible business, terrible service if I could give a zero star I would.
Had such a great experience the first time. I'm going back to purchase more furniture. Furniture is heavy duty, not cheap put together. The customer Service I received from the salesman to the delivery drivers. I love Ashley furniture.

Janet was amazing. We had gone to our local Ashley store and what we were told didn’t make sense. We left and ordered furniture from another store. After a delay and 2 months later we still didn’t have our furniture. We happen to be in Burlington one Saturday and stopped to see if they had patio furniture out and spoke to Janet. We ended up telling her about our experience and what we had been told at our local store and she was dumbfounded as those are not Ashley’s policies. Janet helped us get the original furniture that we wanted and made us feel like we were family. Our furniture arrived before the date we were told and we love it.

Top tier service. My wife and I popped into this store, fact finding over a few months and we were helped by Sean. Usually when someone just keeps coming in, they don't really put effort into the service. But not Sean, every question answered, never felt like he was hovering, but was able to be located. Very transparent in the process so he gets top marks

I purchased a Total protection plan from Guardian at Ashley Furniture and now when i reported the frame in the couch I got a refusal because it must be accidental and within 30 days, WHAT?. How can a failure of the frame be accidental, it breaks or warps over time. They denied saying the damage happened more than 30 days ago, no it’s been breaking for some time but recently became very noticeable. I think that many purchasers of this plan got duped into thinking they will be taken care of when something fails during the 5 years period. I paid $299.00 for absolutely NOTHING. To the people reading my and other 44% of the ONE STAR ratings, save your money and don't buy this protection, it's a sham.

The prices at this store are way higher than online and any other Ashley store I have been to. They said they would match the online prices, but what’s the point? I ended up picking out what I liked in the store and then ordering it online. I saved about a thousand dollars! Also, the salesman was soooo pushy! He started off by saying he wouldn’t bother us and then proceeded to follow us around the store. We weren’t even able to have a private conversation without him interjecting himself.

My fiance and I purchased an all leather sectional sofa that was very expensive. The sales man who sold us the couch also suggested we purchase the protection which we did. He said if we did not use the protection plan we would be reimbursed the money. Unfortunately, six months later we are unable to sit comfortably on the couch. The spots were we sit have become compressed down so you sink in when you sit. I have reached out to everyone I could to get this repaired. Since then the couch has been discontinued they will not offer replacement OR repair for us. Ashley will NOT even give us our protection plan money back even though the couch is now discontinued. I have sent in photos to customer service with a negative response.... The worse too is that we are willing to pay for this ourselves and they are not even willing to get us anyone to come out and repair it. The dissappointment in Ashley furniture is tremendous for us. We will never spend any money there again. SO now I am returning the negative response to you Ashley Furniture !!

I used to recommend this store. I will not anymore. Sent family to purchase an item. The were told you had to get the 5 yr warranty for $139. They didn't want it saleman said its not optional. Then they had to pay shipping. I went to Ashley online for the same item free shipping and warranty is optional. I bought several items and never bought a warranty. I was asked but declined. I like their furniture but I will purchase online next time.
Because we are moving and our delivery address at the time of placing the order is different than our billing address (because duh, we are moving) they cancelled our order without calling or anything. I would have gladly sent them my lease/selling info to verify it’s legit. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Delivered my 9yr olds bed without rails on (08/02) then they shipped the rails to my house (09/01). I called on 09/05 as no contact was made. The manager Lance stated they had not set up installation since we did not call them about the parts being delivered. After stating, IT IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY, he then hung up the phone call. Unprofessionalism. I would set up the bed myself but they never left the bolts.
I had a very pleasant experience with Esteban! He took his time with me in the store and never pressured me to buy anything. He demonstrated how some of the items worked, like the push-button recliners! I’m older and not familiar with new technology. Esteban never made me feel less than and always explained how to use these items. His kindness and thoughtfulness were greatly appreciated! Just bought a beautiful, sturdy dresser for our spare bedroom. The original price was out of our budget but John Zaharris worked with me so the dresser is ours! I am ecstatic! John and Manager Ben also helped load the dresser into our truck with cardboard cushioning and plastic rain protection. Another home run! Leaders do what it takes to get the job done. This is my second experience purchasing Ashley furniture and personnel at both stores were so much fun. Thank you John and Ben!!!
My daughter purchased furniture from Ashley and got a complete run around due to damaged furniture and a portion of the sectional that was ordered incorrectly. She had to take off work three different times for them to bring the correct part and replace the damaged chair they bought. When they returned for the delivery to replace the damaged portion it had a hole in the back. they rescheduled for delivery, she took off work and they never showed up. When she called to inquire about the delivery they said she must have received the delivery call by mistake because they weren't showing a delivery date. Overall horrible experience. Poor communication from Ashley and I can't get anyone to call me back to compensate her for all the time she took off from work.

My wife and I worked with John Zaharris and had an excellent, NO PRESSURE, experience! We explained that we had a line on some brand new used items that matched exactly what we were looking at in the store. We were able to acquire some, but not all, of the pieces that we wanted from the used seller. John had told us that Ashely price matched and he was NOT kidding! We found the other pieces that we needed for less online and John promptly got approval for Ashley to price match so we could order those pieces with John. The indoor delivery and 5 year (vs 1) warranty were VERY reasonably priced so that made our decision to go back to John even easier! Stop in and see John to have a refreshing NO PRESSURE sales experience at Ashely in Burlington!

Went in trying to buy a sectional and a mattress but I do not recommend this place they are not straightforward, will not work with you and will not explain the financing options well. They tricked me into doing what they said was a pre approval for Wells Fargo and when I asked if this was a credit card they told me it wasn’t. Well I just received the credit card in the mail so don’t understand why they said it wasn’t a credit card. So now I have a credit card I will never use because I wasn’t aware it was a credit card. They made inappropriate comments to me when I said I didn’t want to pay for the delivery for them to take the mattress inside the house for me. The manager told me “I have a purple mattress in the back if you want to see how heavy it is”. I was assisted by Henry and a manager that I can’t remember his name. If I could give this place zero stars I would very unprofessional place.

I tried to call the Burlington Store. I got customer service who was in a whole another state. I asked her how I could call my local store. She told me I couldn’t call the store. I would have to go there. That is the worst customer service ever!!!! I told her I wanted to order a piece of furniture and she told me she would have to transfer me to sales. I sit on hold for 20 min and no one ever answered. I called back two more times and never got anyone. Needless to say I will go somewhere else. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted say Judi and Lance are the BEST. I came into the Burlington store spoke with Judi she was knowledgeable and patient with me. I came back in to switched out some things was helped by Lance who made the switch so easy without any hesitation. We have purchased from Ashley Furniture for more than 10 years now and have always had a good experience. Today we had the pleasure of being assisted by Shannon Wade and the assistant manager Lance. Shannon is so very knowledgeable about different types of fabric and how it holds up over time. Lance went out of his way to make our buying experience comfortable for us. Both Shannon and Lance did not rush us and took time with us as we explained what we were looking for and guided us along the way. I highly recommend you asking for their service when you shop there.

If buying a warranty please beware, they will do everything possible to void your warranty, even when telling them it was an accident! Please read other non-Google reviews, including BBB, before purchasing! My table has no finish on it at all, everything that touches it scratches it, just absolutely ridiculous. I started complaining less then a month after purchasing about the poor quality, Ashley would not replace it with a different model and the warranty company refuses to fix it. Last time I buy from Ashley's!
My wife and I bought a table and the 5 year warranty but instead they declined us coverage when we got a scratch, they tell you that if it is accidentally done they will come to your house and fix it or replace if needed. All this warranty service place is like everywhere else, come up with a reason why they do not have to come out to service anything. So if you are planning on getting a warranty, save your money, its over $300 and they will not fix anything anyways! I am no longer an Ashley customer!!!

Very disappointed so far. Asked sales associate about a very specific style of bed and was told the basic model price rather than what item I actually wanted. When time to do paperwork for purchase price had increased by 400 dollars each bed!! Then after beds finally delivered they didn't have all the bolts to put beds together. After placing another order for bolts they came to once again put the beds together and had ordered the bed side rails instead of the bolts!! Was told that once again they would order the bolts only and once they came in to call and a tech would be out immediately to only be told that I would be contacted in the next 48 hours!! Unacceptable still waiting and highly upset. Would not recommend for the price I paid to anyone
On this day, me and my fiancé decided to head down to Ashley Homestore in Burlington and my experience was truly an amazing time! First and foremost, I want to shout out the man you see in the picture, Esteban, who was our sales rep. I’ve ordered now 2 living room sectionals , coffee table, dining room table and chairs and bedroom set and king size mattress over the years and I’ve loved it all, only issue I’ve ever had was the mattress having indentations in it from my husband and I sleeping on it so it is a hump in the middle and they told me it was normal wear but I’ve nvr had this happen to any mattress I’ve had in 37 years. Other than that one issue I’ve been satisfied completely with Ashleys furniture. I even love the smell their furniture has when it’s first delivered just smells like fresh new wood and fabric! Their sales man Josh went completely out of his way to make sure I was happy with my purchase and even gave me his personal cell number In Case I had questions about inventory! They worked with me on pricing and discounts to fit my needs for my last purchase and I really appreciated that! Definitely will be buying more in the future!!!! Thanks!!!

Shannon was phenomenal. He was beyond patient with my husband and I (really it was me!) as we started our journey to new living room furniture. I fell in love with a sectional that could be configured multiple ways, unfortunately we never could get it to fit in the space that we needed no matter how we built it. We were in and out of the store several times with measurements and finally we began to look at other things. We were shown a couch and recliner that we both think will be perfect for us and our home and could not be more thrilled. Also, the mangers were just as good as Shannon was. This is definitely a store I would come back to for other items and would highly recommend them to anyone looking.
I recently purchased a recliner from Ashley Furniture in Burlington after visiting 18 other stores in 3 NC cities, in order to find a chair that would work for me post-surgery, that could be delivered in time. Our sales associate was Judi Bray- I cannot praise her enough for her patience, her professionalism, her knowledge of all the products, and her kindness. Honestly, Judi’s experience shows, and her expertise is miles above that of any of the salespeople we met in Raleigh, Durham or Burlington. She handled every aspect of the transaction with competence and compassion. We live in Chapel Hill, but it was definitely worth the drive to work with Judi and to find the perfect chair. Judi has a presence about her such that my husband and I knew we could trust her with our purchase, knowing she had our best interests at heart, and I would recommend her to anyone in search of any kind of furniture.

She doesn’t have an immediate need and he stated they would hold the order for her until she was ready for it. He was a very knowledgeable, friendly and patient sales person. Order a coffee table from here on August 15, 2021. It was a gift from my mother in law. Told us it would be a wait due to Covid. That was fine. It is now August 22, 2022 and they told us TODAY that they don’t make that model anymore. It took them A YEAR to tell us. Super disappointed.

I found a set of reclining couches online and had an exceptional salesman Kevin who explained, they didn't carry this particular set in the showroom. He Emmy out of his way to show me a comparable couch that I could sit on, another to feel the fabric and another to see the color. He was honest to tell me deliveries can take between two and six weeks. They arrived in a week. My husband was very impressed and we are very happy with them. Thank you Kevin.

After narrowing down my options, he talked me through each of the dinette sets that I had chosen to see which one I really liked. After talking with Preston about the things I needed for my bedroom set and the end tables for my living room I was convinced. The customer service was great and he worked with me to keep me in budget. Will be visiting for any of my household needs from now on. 2 thumbs up!!

We love our new hallstrung couch..high end leather and power..our table and chairs for 8 look great..after a month of comparing we couldn't beat Ashley..also shopped their clearance section and got another trailer load..service was great and not pushy from first visit to the delivery...service was friendly and knowledgeable...Will be back

The lady the was friendly and seem nice but what I didn't like was when I finally found something I like( the picture below was taken today in store)I was told no I wouldn't get it for the price that was up there because it wrong and they just have the correct price tag to put. I just don't understand why put up a price if it's not right.

Preston was extremely helpful with us. We wanted a new sectional with all the bells and whistles. He showed us 3, and we fell in love with the Warnerton! He gave us a good deal, and we were out the door in no time.
Do not waste your time or money with this company. Please keep in mind the service we were provided in store was wonderful (obviously they were trying to make a sale) but what happened afterwards has been horrific. They would not let us pay in full at the store, they insisted going on their leasing plan was a better deal and we could do a 90 day pay off no problem. BIG PROBLEM DO NOT USE THE LEASING COMPANY. The furniture took two months to be delivered, okay that’s the time we live in whatever, but when it was finally delivered the electrical outlet was broken. Then not even two weeks of having the furniture the couch itself broke. It took a month for someone to come out and look at it, trying to schedule the repair was TERRIBLE. The people were so rude and had no interest in getting someone scheduled when I would be home. I told them repeatedly the date they offered would not work because they couldn’t give me a time frame of when they would be there. We agreed on a different date, but they still scheduled the first date I was not available for. When the repair man came he said “yep needs to be replaced” and that I would hear from Ashley within the week. Two weeks later I finally get an automated texted that it would be 4-16 weeks before a replacement could be delivered. The leasing company takes almost $300 out of my bank account every payday, when I had already attempted to return the furniture. They have continuously taken money (my rent money) after I have asked to stop and return the furniture. DO NOT GO THROUGH ASHLEY FURNITURE CHEAP PRODUCT AND THEY DONT CARE IF THEY TAKE YOUR RENT MONEY AND ARE FACING EVICTION.
It's been a month and a half since we made our order at Ashley Homestore in Burlington, and we are yet to have it delivered. All we've gotten so far is a text message saying "we haven't forgotten about you" but nothing else. We tried going to the store directly to ask, but the reps didn't really have much information about when we would get it.
Husband and I were upgrading to a king so went shopping for a mattress. The catch was we had our almost 3 month old with us so was going to be hard testing while tending to her. Judi B. had great knowledge of producys but made it all easier taking the stroller and rocking back and forth while we tested mattresses. She even helped provide a pillow when little munkinwas hungry and I found a chair to feed. We made the puchase her because of the service. Great job!

We just bought a sectional from Ashley Furniture. Our salesman Josh was great! He was patient, yet not over bearing while we walked around the store, twice. We arrived unprepared without measurements, but we came back the next day to purchase and ask final questions. Josh was knowledgeable in both the financing options and guardian protection plan.

I am a repeat customer of Ashley Homestore. Three years ago I bought my sofa and oversized chair from them and the couch broke shortly after. So needless to say I haven’t been back in awhile. However, I went in today and received EXCELLENT customer service from Kreis Luman and the manager. They went above and beyond to make sure I was about to get the items I wanted at the price I needed and financed. Kreis is a caring person who genuinely wanted to know how he could help me
My husband and I walked in to a smiling face and his name was JOSH FREEMAN! He was very friendly and asked what we needed. Most important thing is he respected our space, very knowledgeable, checked on us often, answered questions as we needed and took time with us while not rushing us at all. Josh Freeman at the Burlington location was the best!!! He was super kind and extremely thorough. I’m moving to a new city which can be really stressful. Josh took his time to listen to my needs and walk me through each step of the process to purchase the perfect furniture. I can be pretty indecisive lol but he definitely helped to pick apart what my wants were and what exactly I was looking for. He checked on me often, but didn’t hound me lol and he answered all my questions. I wound up getting a reclining sectional AND a bedroom suite and mattress from him. I love everything about the stuff I ordered. The system was having some trouble while we were working to get everything paid for, and he worked very hard to get me squared away. Although it took extra time, I really didn’t mind because Josh was so sweet! We talked about our families Andover home state and we laughed a bit too. My anxiety was definitely down after my experience with him. If you need anything from Ashley’s, JOSH is the man to see!

My boyfriend and I are furnishing our first home and purchased our farmhouse style furniture with help from Preston at Ashley in Burlington. We first went by Ashley a couple of months ago and fell in love with the Alesandra couch and chair and a half. They had perfect bedroom furniture for us and our two kids. We went back for the Memorial Day sale where we got a great deal on all purchased pieces. Customer service was wonderful and Preston was very patient with us as we spent much time debating on sets and trying out every mattress to find the perfect one. Will definitely return for any additional furniture needs

DONT BY FROM THEM!!! I made an online purchase, it said the items were in-stock but less than 10 minutes after placing the order I received an email saying "Due to high demand, some items may have longer than normal shipping times." I get two of the three items I purchased but over a month later the third piece still has no ETA. I have not clue if it's going to be 2 weeks or 2 years. They have charged me for the two pieces I received but they keep putting a hold on my card for the third piece that drops off my card every week and then pops back up again. I would never have ordered the set if I wouldn't have known when or if I was going to get all three pieces. I can't get a return or get a refund on the pieces they delivered so now I'm stuck waiting with no end in sight. What a joke. Every time I've tried to check on the order it's a 30 minute wait to get through to someone just to be transferred to another department that 9 times out of 10 the queue is full and the call is dropped. NEVER again will I order from Ashley's HomeStore or recommend them.

People are friendly and willing to help find what you are looking for, my issue isn't with the store itself but the Customer Service/Warranty department. If you have pets, do not buy the extended coverage protection. We had a puppy jump onto a cushion and rip it, but the claim was denied because it wasn't accidental....? Like we purposely took her claw and scratched it ourselves. Should have known better...

Actually had decent prices, definitely cheaper than Badcock with better quality as well. Nice sales people, variety of up to date furniture. However they tore my furniture to pieces upon delivery. Do not order ANYTHING from this place and have it delivered. By the way, nothing on the floor is for sale and you'll be waiting 3 to 9 months to receive something you've already paid for or are having financed. Its a RIP off!!!!! Edit: Spoke to the manager about a refund or a replacement. I waited 4 months for a replacement, I asked the manager if she could assure me that this couch would not be damaged she said she COULD NOT. So I said well how much of a refund can I get? (as I paid 1,200 cash) She decided 300 was fair. This couch was a total loss...I feel like at least 50 percent back was fair and that's being generous! So rather than having to take time off of work, get another damaged couch and go through the entire fiasco again I took the discount. Which had to be sent to be by mail in check form and took 3 weeks to get. Not at all happy with this place!

This was an exceptional experience. Walked in with a sectional on my mind and a nice guy named Preston that works there showed me several options and listened to what my needs were and matched me with a perfect sofa. Took me no more than 30 minutes in and out and had several options to choose from. Will def shop here in thr future again!

Staff is nice and when we bought our new house we purchased a living room, and three bed room sets from the one in greensboro. If looking for an affordable option to furniture, you can't beat Ashley's as the price is right and quality is good. Two years in no complaints.
Sales staff very friendly, Kevin is great! Selection is nice, but dealing w/the delivery is a nightmare. My delivery date has been pushed back twice now. and I still don't have any furniture. Like literally no furniture in my living room at all now, as I already removed my other set on 7/14, the night before my scheduled delivery. Original date was 7/7, next date should have been 7/15. Now they're saying 7/18 and I won't even be home on that date, but their call center said that I am the one who chose the date. No ma'am, that is not true. All of my texts and emails say that 7/15 was the rescheduled date. They didn't show up on 7/15 after I had switched my work schedule to accommodate the delivery. When I called the call center to see why they were no shows they said that I had agreed to 7/18. Untrue, and I have the proof to show them that I did not ever agree to that. Still no furniture & don't know when I'll get it. This level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional. If you're looking for reliable and prompt delivery then you'll need to look elsewhere. Ashley falls short once you've made your purchase. Delivery experience is terrible!
Was very friendly and Henry was great to work with. The only problem I had was when it came to paying. I had to make an extra trip back because to use their card I needed 2 forms of I. D.,which is fine and I can understand that. Only thing is if I had chosen to get the items online this would not be required. Still no problem here, would recommend to anyone looking for some furniture.

Terrible experience getting furniture delivered. The store and staff did what they needed to do, gave me some B.S. about being on my side and trying to give me deals and save money when all they do is price match what their online listings say. My order got rescheduled 3 times, they delivered only part of my order and I'm in the middle of month 3 of trying to get all of my furniture still. Ordered in the beginning of December to have it delivered in late December, I should finally get all of it by mid February. Completely unacceptable. Feb14th EDIT* got called on my new delivery date telling me the couch they got was damaged and they are ordering a new one. IT HAS BEEN MONTHS
What an amazing experience. Honestly. I will say, I am a nerdy researcher. I will not make a big purchase without a lot of thought. I needed a new bed. My research took me in this store. My first visit was pretty bad. I had a salesman that literally drove me out of the store. So bad I started looking for a different option. I decided to order on line but wanted to look at the bed one more time in person. I was lucky enough to run into Brandon. What a great salesman! No kidding. I walked out with a bed, vanity, end table and 2 lamps. Go see Brandon. I also so appreciate the team staying after closing to get me all checked out. I misread the store hours and unknowingly came in at the last minute. I didn't even know because everyone was so kind.
Staff is awful. Just because I walk in wearing a hoodie and yoga pants doesn’t mean I don’t have money to make a purchase. This is the second time I’ve gone in this location and had basically no treatment and staff is available. The Durham location is so much better. They helped me refurnish my WHOLE house last year. I was giving this location a second chance since I live in the area. That won’t be happening again.

Sales staff is friendly because they want your money. However, once you've paid for your furniture, that level of service goes out the window. My delivery date has now been pushed back 3 times! This last time, no one called to even tell me they weren't delivering. I only found out when I called and the only excuse I was given was, "for some reason, the previous person did not process the delivery confirmation." This level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional. If you're looking for reliable and prompt delivery then please look elsewhere. You will be disappointed and will have to take off several days of work for a delivery that probably won't happen. If I could give this zero stars I would.
I traveled from Durham to visit this Ashley Homestore because of great reviews and customer service. Judi, one of the sales associates, helped me and made sure to price match with the deal I found online as well as help schedule delivery with my crazy schedule. I am so glad I drove the extra 30 minutes to come to this store.

Great Choices Amazing Staff!
Honestly thought the prices would be higher. Solid selection, and a pretty easy sales process. There is a bit of a push for the 'extended protection plan' thing by the sales rep, and that's to be expected. It wasn't too bad. Scheduling delivery was easy, looking forward to seeing how that part of the process goes. Definitely check with the store and not just buy from their website, the store is independent of the website and can give a little better deal, at least in my case.
Could not find what I needed. No offer to plAce an order
The staff selling the furniture is very friendly, but this is my 2nd time trying to buy something from them and I just learned the delivery date has to be moved back. The first item took about 3 months of pushed back dates and no phone calls telling me it wouldn’t be delivered, only to be told they will have to refund me because the tables are all defective from that manufacturer. I decided to give it a second chance hoping it was just a weird fluke. I’m hoping this won’t be round 2, but I’m now on my 3rd pushed back delivery date because the pieces aren’t in the warehouse. If you wish to actually receive your furniture in a timely manor or at all I would avoid shopping here.

Not impressed, use to be semi decent furniture. Pillows on couches are easily misshapen, no form of support within the box/foot area of sofa w/chaise.

I'm only giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the delivery team and staff that reached to us to do the delivery their customer service was poor. They initially delivery date given to us we received a call that all the pieces wouldn't be in, so when my wife said we would what til both pieces it got changed to another week because to find out they were waiting for the sofa to come in from the manufacturer. So now we thought we were set. Not so much. The delivery team was to call the day of delivery at least 20 minutes before they arrive to ensure we are home. These guys called and texted me when they are ringing my doorbell and my wife is at the grocery store. She was about 10 minutes away. No apologies at all. Luckily the stayed til she got there because I was at work out of town.
Me and my son walked in the store, walked the entire store looking at the furniture, sat there an additional 10 more minutes before we were even acknowledged. That alone makes me want to take my business elsewhere.
My husband and I were in the market for a new mattress. Diane and Ashley, at the Burlington Ashley Homestore, bent over backwards to make sure our experience was smooth and easy. They put their heads together to make sure we were getting the best mattress for the best price that we were happy with. We will definitely go back to these two ladies for any future purchases through Ashley Homestore.

When my recliners were delivered, one had a leaning base and worn upholstery. The delivery driver documented everything and said I should have a new one in a week. At the end of the week, I called for an update. I was told the ONLY person who could deal with exchanges would not be in until Monday. She would call. When she called she explained that the delivery drivers were not employees, she had no idea what app he was using and they would have to have an independent person come and evaluate the chair. That was about 10 days ago. She doesn’t work weekends, do I have to call and leave a message asking for her to call. I have also asked if they could just take the damaged chair back. They could if I pay for someone to take it to there warehouse and there will be a 25% restocking fee if the chair was in good enough shape to take back. This may be a $400 waste of time. Don’t shop there!!

This place is trash and I encourage everyone to stay away. First, I'd like to share the good part of our experience because he deserves recognition. We worked with Jeff and he was AMAZING. I looked for a couch for probably 4-5 hours and he hung in there the whole time and was very forthcoming about everything and knowledgeable about all of the product. He was also hilarious. We also had some issues come up and he stayed in touch with us the entire time and worked things out for us even answering calls when he was off. HOWEVER: Our couch was supposed to come 12/14. The entire thing didn't even come until 01/02 and they had all of the pieces and orders mixed up. That's a small part of my issue. We have had this couch a month. It was $2,500-3,000 (I can't remember exactly) so it wasn't cheap. Yesterday I sat down and the frame on one side broke! I called in and they offered NO apology, nothing but that they would leave a message for the customer service manager who usually gets back to people in 72 HOURS! I've worked retail before and I've been a retail manager. That's a ridiculous turn around rate. Then today, the OTHER SIDE BROKE. I called again and this time I was kind, but I did explain that this was an issue considering we have only had the couch for a month. Our couch is literally touching the floor and she doesn't offer an apology, ask additional questions, NOTHING. She simply says they will have the lady call back in 3 days and they don't offer extended warranties. So hopefully we will have this paid off in a year because God knows it won't last passed the warranty. Other than Jeff, this place has terrible customer service and trash furniture. I would have rather given $4-5,000 to a better company.
We bought a power recliner sofa and power recliner on 11/21/18. They were scheduled for delivery on 12/14/18. We received the recliner on 12/14, but we were told the sofa was damaged and would need to be re-ordered. After a couple more days and more phone calls, I was given a new delivery date of 1/15/19 - so much for new furniture at Christmas. I called again on 1/7/19 to confirm the date and it is now moved to 1/18/19. The sales staff was friendly and helpful, but customer service is terrible. I will not be doing business with Ashley again.
I was in desperation for bed rail parts that was lost in our move!! They beds were discontinued and parts had to be special ordered. Not only was I surprised at the great pricing, the customer service was outstanding!! I was greeted by Susan Miller within 5 seconds of entering the building. I was in awe of the excellent customer service that each employee provided. Even the furniture loaders made sure that I was being waited on. And Lance Bailey was full of AWESOMENESS!! He was so helpful in making sure that I ordered the correct part!! THANK YOU GUY'S SO MUCH
My 3 year old disappeared while we were shopping and after calling his name a few times I started freaking out. The staff stopped helping all their customers and started searching for him and blocked all the exits. I was hysterical and they found him hiding thinking he was funny. They were so kind I cant say enough about the staff. We did also buy furniture and it was delivered on time and looks great.

We bought lots of furniture there, a knowledgeable sales person will greet you as you walk in, but if you just want to look around they leave you alone. Then when you need help they assist you, we just needed to borrow a tape measure, to measure some furnature, and they were quick to lend us one.
Seems a little over priced for some of the quality. Looking at numerous stores and "some" of the quality is no better than dicount stores with a price tag hundreds of dollars more.

I purchased my first brand new bedroom furniture at the Burlington Ashley. Jeff Bishop was my sales person and he did a phenomenal job! He knew what an important purchase this was for me and he spent hours helping me to make the perfect selection. His patience was unending and I never felt rushed or pushed but felt as though I was his top priority at all times. Love my new bedrooms, Thank you!
Bought a power leather Sofia loveseat and battery recliner set. Within two weeks, the left unit of the loveseat, right side of the sofa and recliner broke and became lopsided. We reported the issue and since we have a warranty purchased in the set, they sent a technician out to inspect. He informed us that they were in poor condition and were surprised that this set left the warehouse. He found multiple issues with the set and said that his recommendation would be a replacement—it would be less expensive then the repairs needed. Weeks went by and we heard nothing, so I called and was informed that the report submitted said “condition was good”. I immediately stated that this was not at all what was communicated by the technician. After back and forth, it was agreed that a full replacement of our set would be sent. We have received it, but I as given a power recliner, not a battery powered recliner. So I’ve paid for a battery powered recliner that I no longer have. Buying this living room set was our “second chance” with Ashley’s furniture after a horrible customer service experience from the first time over a bedroom set and I don’t see ya ever going back to Ashley’s again.
Nice furniture
Absolutely the worst customer service imaginable. Bought a sectional for our living room and have had two pieces break in less than six months. We bought the extended warranty. The first piece took two weeks to replace. The second broke in mid june. it is early August and today the showed up with the wrong piece. Take your business elsewhere to furniture that actually holds up and also to a company that cares more about customer service than the sale.

First of all I've to give a big shout out to Susan the store Manager. She was absolutely wonderful and helped us through the entire buying process. We ordered a bedroom suite and dining set from Ashley's furniture back in December and I'm a little late with my review. The bedroom set is still in beautiful condition and honestly looks brand new. I look forward to doing business with this location again and if your in the area shopping for furniture I highly recommend speaking to Susan. She's very knowledgeable and always has a pleasant attitude when dealing with customers. The overall store is beautifully maintained and always impeccably clean. I will be back!!

Bait and switch nightmare. Went out over past weekend with my wife and family to get our new space downstairs in our home outfitted. Sales person was nice and took care of us therefore he earned the one star I have to give. We kept getting told about the 0% special for 72 months so my wife decided to go ahead and take advantage and get some new pieces for our new 4500 square foot living space. So we ended up financing almost 11k. Parts of stuff was on back order so they split the tickets so we could get some furniture sooner than two months. Suprise at end of transaction we have to pay tax and 20% out of pocket to get special financing. Wow that was the first mess and sign that this company is not made of much as far has honesty, integrity and character. So we paid the deposit to get it ordered anyways which took several hours to get done and to make sure tickets were notated by Ashley employees that we paid for a wedge on a split ticket as part of a sectional on a different ticket because of order times. So fast forward to Tuesday afternoon my wife gets a call at 6:30 at night from manager Susan saying they had made a mistake on our 11k invoice and they needed $2600 more dollars#$@$#$. We were charged and paid for the couch and the sectional around $3800. Online the whole thing including wedge love seat and sofa is $3798 so i figured we did ok was not complain over $22. So Susan when asked if she had spoke with our salesperson she said no he is out today. So the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. So a advertised couch on the website for $3798 they want to squeeze you for over 6k. I think not I can do math and I really think they should close this store until they can get the management training to support the sales staff they have. I really don't like being lied to or swindled. They called the next day saying they would leave the contract the way it was and that was nice since they had already charged us website pricing with no discounts. So my big issue is they @##$ up and tried to take advantage of us and got caught. Then instead of taking accountability of the failures they just acted like they fought for us to get it fixed to the original amount which mind you is over 11k and all as listed on website. I think not. I only work with honest companies and not these kind of bait and switch. Bad thing is I was referred by one of your sales staff to come from a BNI network. I would have been a huge referral partner for your business. Now I will not be able to give you a recommendation or positive experience.
My family and I have experience the most dilemmas with this Ashley Furniture from delivery issues to not ordering the correct items for our King size bed frame and mattress. We went in March 18th to order a new bed and barstools and today March 30th, we are not getting our furniture delivered due to Ted not ordering the correct bed frame for our mattress. So, now we have to wait 10 more days for delivery. Also, the barstools we ordered were not delivered to the store by March 27th and we were not given a courtesy call that the day was changed. Today, March 30th my fiancé has to drive all the way to Kernersville, NC to the warehouse to get the barstools. This Ashley Furniture has just been an inconvenience and not communicating what is really going on. Not to mention my mom had issues with delivery last year. I believe this is my LAST time ordering from Ashley Furniture. I am not satisfied.

I purchased several pieces of Valraven furniture in June 2017 and the sales experience was great with Ms. Hester. December 19, 2017 , I called to report that several screws on my dining room Valraven Server had broken off from one door in fact, the wood appeared to have cracked underneath from the assembly. Additionally, several screws from the round top dining table had fallen out. I have called 3 times since December requesting to someone to come repair it, To no avail. I have paid too much money to get ignored for service requests for needed furniture repairs. Very poor follow with repair request!!!!!

Usually when I'm out browsing I am either ignored or I'm approached by a salesperson. Most of the time they are too aggressive and it turns me off. My boyfriend and I just moved to our first apartment in Mebane, NC and we needed a couch. We decided to go to Ashley Furniture in Burlington just to poke around. Well, we found a couch right away because of Judi Bray! Judi really knows her stuff and the first couch she showed us is the one we're getting. Then she had us lay on a Tempur-Pedic bed and this will be my next big purchase! I love coming to a store that the salesperson really knows the products and listens to your needs. Judi made our experience very pleasurable and we are so excited to enjoy our new sofa sectional!
We purchased a dresser and nightstands to complete our bedroom set, Susan helped us and she did a wonderful job trying to get us the best deal but had to take one star because of finance manager not allowing us to price match online because of financing.

This is a Update: First post: We are about 18 months into our Leather couch, love seat and recliner. After about 6 months we started having issues with the love seat. They came out and looked at it and they ordered parts, mailed them to our house and never came back to put them in. Now the couch is having issues. Looks like the frame may have broke in the middle of the couch. I guess we will call again. We had our old leather furniture for 10 years with no issues other than showing some wear. I wish I had just kept it because we will be lucky to get 5 out of Ashley. Update on the furniture: The recliner is now ripped due to a accident. We have the guardian coverage for the furniture but just like last time guardian does everything they can to not fix it. With guardian it has to be an accident for them to fix it, which this obviously is. Guardian quoted something from a 4 page document on why they were not going to fix it and Ashley furniture did not even give us a copy of it. We have all the original paperwork stapled together and all we have is a receipt and a brochure. We paid $300+ for the guardian plan which is a total waste of time and totally useless because they are going to do everything in there power to not help you out and you need something with this furniture because it is junk!

We are in the middle of purchasing a new home and needed all sorts of pieces. Our salesperson, Susan Miller, was patient and attentive and really worked with us to find the best prices for the furniture we selected. I cannot recommend this place or Susan enough. We will definitely be back.

Every time I go in to the Burlington location, I always receive excellent care from Diane. She took the time to find me a great deal and walked me through the entire sales process very professionally and politely. She even offered me in store credit to help pay for everything. We went to the Ashley Furniture Store at 1439 University Dr in the Burlington/Elon area. We were in the store for over 30 minutes and not one of the sales who all happened to be Caucasian spoke or offered to help us. After several minutes in the store, we even made sure that the sales people saw us and could hear us discussing our intent to purchase furniture and we still we ignored as if we were invisible. Once we resolved that we were not going to be helped, we bothered a sales person to point us to the manager. "Suzie" was so busy that she didn't even have time to look up and see us standing in front of her. I guess that is how she trained her staff as well. Once her assistant, who was sitting right beside her, said "these people are waiting to speak to you," Suzie then acknowledged us. We shared our experience and she apologized; however, her initial ignorance of us compromised the integrity of her apology. In all fairness, perhaps she was sorry for the lack of service and respect that we experienced. I probably would not have written this review if I had not watched all of the Caucasian sales people acknowledge the Caucasian customers that came in the store after we did. I am very disappointed with the mindset of the sales team at this location. We had a much better experience at the Greensboro location a few weeks prior to this.
The staff at this location are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Susan and Judy helped us with our furniture purchase and we had an amazing experience. I would suggest that anyone in the market for new furniture and friendly service visit this store.
Ashley Furniture was wonderful to me. Their furniture was magnificent. They were available at all times if I had questions. My house is like a beautiful castle.

I just bought enough furniture to do my whole house minus my kids rooms. Susan Miller (my sales lady) was fantastic and handled everything very professional like. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking at furniture and that wants to get the best deal in not only that area but in the state. I live in Zebulon, NC which is about 1 hour 45 min away and they were the best deal that I could find between here and there. Since I was spending so much money I want to be sure that I was taken care of and Susan Miller certainly did just that. I had me and my wife and 4 kids causing a ruckus and she stayed calm and made everything feel very smooth. I will go back and I will only get my furniture from Susan.... It all got delivered last week I think it was and the delivery guys were great and real courteous. They adjusted all the furniture and placed it exactly how my wife wanted it done. I also just received a thankyou card from Susan today in the mail that was hand written and thanking me for my purchase (nice touch by the way). But it is I who should be thanking you. I purchased the Sorinella bed from Ashley Furniture and I LOVE it! It looks amazing in my bedroom. My salesperson, Shannon, was very knowledgeable and he answered all my questions thoroughly. He even moved several accents pieces onto a rug I was thinking about buying to see if it would blend in my space. The customer service during my sale was great too. Flada in the office was efficient and professional. The office manager, Yolanda, made me aware of all my financing options in order to save me money and get my furniture. The delivery team was prompt and courteous; I was concerned about tracks on my carpet because of the recent rain but they put down something to protect my floors. They quickly assembled my bed exactly where I wanted it. All in all, my entire experience with Ashley Furniture Homestore in Burlington was 10 out of 10. Thanks Ashley!
