Had a powerlifting recliner delivered yesterday. The technician set it up and had me sign for it as he ran out the door and now Ashley refuses to replace the chair and say I’m going to have to wait a month to get it fixed . The chair is sitting g in the living room in the upright most position . I am an elderly disabled woman and can not move this myself and have no seat to sit in for a month . Do not buy from them

Mrs Hayes was very professional and willing to help me get exactly what I needed.

I came to this store to furnish my new home. I spend $7000 with them and I agreed to a 5 piece sectional coach with a dining table and a mattress. Mike cohen the salesman there was a liar. Lied about the entire order. Told me he will give me protection plan and delivery for free than I see in the purchase agreement that he charged me $1100 for those services. When I said I don’t want it he said I’ll take it off but I’m still going to charge you the same price. I then leave extremely frustrated. Delivery came to drop the sectional off and it came as a 4 piece when I told MIKE I wanted the 5 piece. I than call the store and they said that Mike told them I ordered a 4 piece and called me a liar. I than speak to the GM Kevin Ashmeed. He than tells me Mike said it’s only a 4 piece and that’s all your getting. If u have a problem talk to customer service. On top of all that the mattress had multiple rips in it and was extremely dirty. Mike Cohen is a liar. Worst type of person. And will manipulate you into making a purchase than completely ghost you after the sale. Also the GM was no help and basically told me to F off. Never shop here and I hope corporate can fix these issues because I will not be using any of this furniture after this experience. Update. I see you replied saying it won’t happen again. How about fix the issue now while you still can. If not than don’t reply making false claims to act like you care about customer service. Fix the issue you still have time.

If I could give a lower rating I would. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! Absolute joke of a business. Worst shopping experience I have ever had in my 40 years on earth. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They canceled my delivery 3 times, broke multiple pieces to the order, lied about time lines, lied about everything. It took me hounding them repeatedly over and over again to get my full refund. Each time they paid me back it was short. It took them 3 payments and over 60 DAYS to get my complete refund. There is plenty of places to get furniture, don’t give these people your hard earned money, they have no clue what they are doing. They aren’t even competent. If you don’t believe me just look at all the recent reviews in the past year. It’s right there in black and white. Don’t let the 4.7 stars fool you.

I walked into the store not really sure of what style dining room I was looking for. I had all different visions in my mind, but couldn’t figure out how they would look. Ebony was the sales associate to deal with my constant changes. She was professional, patient and all around very sweet. Even after I made my purchase, I changed my mind on an item, and she was able to quickly exchange a piece of furniture without any problems. Ebony you rock! If you are looking to buy furniture , Just ask for Ebony, You will not be disappointed!

We had worst experience at this store. Not only they did not refund us the delivery fee when we cancelled a delivery in time, the sales agent lied to us for what was covered under a warranty. When we actually filed a claim with 5startservice (a third party that you have to deal with) for stains on individual chairs, they denied the claim saying that I have reported overtime accumulation. They just gave me any nonsense reason to not provide the service. Do not shop at this store. Be careful what the sales agent tell you in order to sell and get your money.

I’m currently relocating from CA to NC and was able to view furniture in CA. When I got to NC I went to Ashley in Cary with the intent to furnish my whole new home. A very nice sale person named Danny helped me. He spent so much time with me the first day and was very knowledgeable especially with the different mattress types. He sent me a quote and after my house closed I went back. Danny was very patient with me and again spent a lot of time with me. I’m happy to say that I am furnishing my whole home and I owe it all to Danny and his expertise! I love all my choices! 💕

I chose to shop at Ashley instead of buying online because I wanted a more reliable experience—I wanted to speak with a real person, see and feel the furniture before purchasing, and most importantly, receive my order on time. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a nightmare. I clearly told my salesperson, Taylor, that I needed my sofa by the end of January 2025. The first delivery on December 28 brought the correct loveseat, but the sleeper sofa was the wrong fabric. They rescheduled for January 2, yet again, the wrong fabric. They then promised a correct replacement on January 23, only to push it back to January 27—forcing me to cancel clients just to accommodate their schedule. To avoid more delays, I texted Taylor to confirm that this time, the correct sofa would arrive. And yet, when the delivery finally came, it was STILL the wrong fabric. At this point, I had no choice but to keep it, as my visitors were arriving on January 31, and I had already sold my old sofa. To make matters worse, Taylor overpriced the delivery fee at $239 and charged me $399 for a five-year protection plan—only for me to later realize I could have purchased the same items for less on Wayfair. Every time I reached out to her about an issue, she always say shes off and told me to call the showroom instead. I made the mistake of trusting her promises, and I deeply regret it. I get it—she needs her commission. I'm also in sales, but I make sure my clients get more than they expected. It's not always about the money; it's about how you share goodness with everyone. That’s what makes a perfect business. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. If you're considering buying from Ashley, be warned—this experience has been nothing but frustration, delays, and poor service.

I’m very indecisive and my bestie was supposed to come couch shopping with me, but she had an emergency. No worries though, Taylor stepped in and perfectly guided me through all my couch options by addressing my true needs and what I really wanted out of a couch. Also, I ended up purchasing the wrong facing couch and with a simple text she switched it for me. She truly provided over the top customer service. She is knowledgeable and awesome! Ohh and I was shopping with my four year old and she was so patient and kind to us.

We’ve purchased a large amount of furniture from Ashley Furniture over the past 8 years and are never disappointed with the great quality or the fair price of each piece, however, it’s the staff at this Ashley store in Cary who truly make the difference for us. We went in yesterday to try and find a specific type of double reclining couch that, up to that point, we didn’t think even existed online. Matt Z. was in the front of the store when we walked in and was immediately ready to help. Matt listened to everything we had to say and then showed us multiple couches right in the showroom that met our needs… yay! Matt was patient, understanding, and helpful, and he never pressured us to buy anything. We were there for over 3 hours and throughout that time, Matt Z was fantastic. He worked with us with price, delivery, and with the protection plan and when we were leaving, he gave us his cell phone number, just in case we had any questions about the sofa or during delivery. In today’s day and age, decent service is becoming more and more rare and Matt gave us amazing service. We highly recommend Ashley Furniture, especially the Cary store, if you’re looking for great quality furniture at a good price with incredible service… and ask for Matt Z.!

My Mom had an overwhelming job to do...finding furniture for her entire new independent living apartment. This store consistently has top ratings for customer service; that's why we chose to stop in. From the moment we entered the store, Taylor made us feel welcome and at home. She looked at Mom's floor plan and calmly led us through every room she needed to buy for with patience, charm and humor, making sure no items were missed and everything would fit. Mom has some mobility problems, and Taylor had a wheelchair on hand in case she needed it. She helped Mom make choices that reflected her personal style without sacrificing the comfort and accessibility she needs. Taylor guided Mom through selecting a mattress and base--her extensive product knowledge was amazing!--and did a beautiful job of pacing so that Mom could take little breaks along the way and didn't have to cover any uneccesary ground. We feel that we got great quality furniture at a fair price, but the real star of our buying experience was Taylor, who managed the delicate balance of giving my 86-year-old mother respect and autonomy during what could have been a confusing, intimidating experience. Taylor is one in a million!

We just moved to the area and went to several furniture stores in the area to find a new couch. Ashley Furniture and specifically sales associate, Ben that works there were amazing. He helped us figure out the perfect couch. He didn’t make us feel pressured to buy and allowed us time to discuss on our own. Ashley was the third furniture store we visited. After seeing prices for couches in the five digit number (yes, $12,000 for a couch at a nearby furniture store) the normal pricing on couches at Ashley's was refreshing. We had a much less aggressive sales person to talk to at Ashley as well. At the other furniture store, just my wife and I saying "this couch is comfortable" had the sales rep disappearing to get samples for us to choose and put the order in immediately. While browsing at Ashley, Leah Haley our sales rep, was nearby in case we had any questions and provided information on products to help our buying experience, but not once did she jump to delivery dates, or push us on choices of any products. We returned the next week to buy the sectional couch we liked. I don't let sales people pressure me to do anything I don't want, but Leah never once even attempted it. She was a delight to work with during our time in the store while we discussed what couch worked best for us with no pressure put on us by her.

Recently stopped into Ashley Store in Cary with my mother. Matt Z. stepped up to welcome us and we were off on goose chase of my own design. He listened to my long, round about, specific but also fluid, description of the dresser I had fabricated in my mind and quickly led us through the store with an energy that was infectious. Matt is very knowledgeable about the inventory both in stock and available to order and after exhausting all the possibilities in the store found a solution online. Purchased a couch. Paid in full that day. Was promised a delivery date of 01/15/2025. They called me from a random number on 01/13/2025 to inform me that they do not know when it will be delivered as it is not in stock. They also said it will be 14 days before we will be issued a refund. Salesman was a delight. The other aspect was not. Better served going elsewhere for your furniture needs.

When there were details we didn’t love, he helped us find solutions/mix and match until everything was exactly the way we wanted it. 1/5/24 - Purchased the Next-Gen Durpella Collection If you’re looking for furniture, go to Ashley and ask for Ben Woodman! He greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked how could he help. He showed us where to look and told us to let him know if we needed anything. We were very impressed from the get go! Ben also explained to us the different types of leather which gave us a better understanding. Especially with us having a chocolate lab who loves to cuddle with us on our couch. Ben gave us our space and when we needed answers he helped us through this process. We appreciated that so much! He was down to earth and was very easy to talk with. Thank you Ben for everything!

I don’t normally like being swarmed by sales agents. Ben respected that we were looking and making lots of choices before asking if he could provide any insights once we’d narrowed it down to 2 collections. The details he provided allowed us to finalize our decisions. Ben was also willing to offer us some incentives which means he isn’t greedy. He was most pleasant and super helpful! We definitely recommend Ben.

Lea Hayes at Ashley Homestore in Cary, NC was incredible help. She greeted us at the door and left us, by our request, to browse on our own. Always attentive, she saw us interested in one particular sofa and came to offer information. Then we spotted another furniture group we liked more. Lea then supplied answers to the barrage of questions we threw at her, including the great features of zero-gravity sofa recliners, among others. Because of her knowing her product, we quickly fell in love with a living room group with all its amazing features. We are picky buyers. The thing I liked most was that Lea did not pressure us to buy. She simply answered questions and compared what we liked or didn’t like between the two room groups. Had she not known her products, we might still be undecided. In our opinion, Lea is a great asset to the store. You can have great furniture, but knowledgeable people who know how to treat customers builds the reputation of the business.

Due to being in rehab with a broken femur, my friend took on the challenge of finding a lift chair for me once I get home! Ashley was her first destination, due to pervious experience. No disappointment!! Great sales rep who answered and helped with all her concerns. The chair will be waiting for me when I get home as it’s being delivered today. 😍

I had a previously horrific experience (!!) with Ashley Furniture a few years ago when I bought multiple pieces of furniture then sent them all back/cancelled remaining purchase during the allotted period for various viable reasons.... then had to go to war with Ashley HQ for months to get my money back. Needless to say, I had never considered purchasing from Ashley Furniture again. However, I happened to wander into their store in early November when they launched their Thanksgiving 2024 sale, and I saw a couch and loveseat that I really liked. Sales rep Danny spent a considerable amount of time with me (a few hours). Unlike my experience there a few years before, Danny was transparent, honest, knowledgeable, and actually listened to what I was looking for. He gave me really good advice in terms of the extra warranty I ended up purchasing, when to purchase to make sure I got the best price (I have actually checked periodically since my purchase and he really did give me the best price for this set I've seen), and the best delivery advisement due to the upcoming holiday season. I waited to give this review because I wanted to make sure that my delivery experience went well (it was excellent -- unlike my previous purchase!), and the furniture I purchased survived the first month+ in tact, with built in heat and massager still working (yes, it does, and we love our new set! :) Thanks, Danny, for a great transaction all around! The store has a great collection of furniture. We were looking for dining table sets and they have really an expansive range of them. Mayra was great in attending to our queries and gave us a steal of a price for the furniture protection plan and some great discounts as well. If you see something online on Ashley store that you like, I would highly recommending calling the store to check if they have stock of it as the prices sold by the store were more better for our specific dining table set.

We had a fantastic experience shopping with Ben for a new bedroom furniture set and mattress. He is extremely knowledgeable and was genuinely interested in finding the right items that fit our style, comfort and budget. He was very transparent about pricing, what he could do and not do as far as discounts and we really feel like we walked away with the best deal Ashley could offer. This is Heather and I am writing to tell about my wonderful experience at the Ashley store in Cary. Taylor Radford immediately greeted me when I walked in the door and was not pushy at all. She checked in with me to see if I had any questions when I looked around. What impressed me about her was that she was so genuine. She really cared about providing me the best fit of furniture for my home. She understood that with kids, the furniture needed to be durable yet stylish. She walked me through all the fabrics and actually sold me on a cheaper item then what I was originally looking for because it was the best fit for my family. That kind of sales person is hard to find. She wasn’t after the bottom line and truly cared. She was authentic and had integrity. I highly recommend anyone shop and ask for Taylor!

Ashley Furniture Store Review If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Ashley Furniture has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I ordered a desk, a bed, and several other items TWO MONTHS AGO, and I’m still dealing with issues. Here’s a breakdown of the chaos: • My desk arrived with no parts to assemble it. • The bed had two of the same boards, forcing me to drill custom holes just to make it usable. • They sent the wrong desk TWICE because my sales associate didn’t even update the order properly, leaving me to deal with their incompetence. • In the end, I had to settle for tables I didn’t even want. The customer service was equally abysmal. The General Manager, David, called me with a generic, scripted “We’ll look out for you” speech, but it was nothing more than empty words. After his insincere promise to fix things, I had to follow up myself two weeks later. To make matters worse, he hung up on me mid-conversation while I was asking a question. If you’re considering buying from Ashley, don’t do it. The lack of accountability, attention to detail, and respect for customers is appalling. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money. Stay far, far away from Ashley Furniture.

Ashley is always my first stop. Great inventory. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. Ben was extremely helpful; understood what I wanted and guided me to the right pieces.

I initially had a pleasant experience with the sales girl. I even purchased a pull out couch a loveseat and a coffee table. However the coffee table was delivered to my home unassembled and a leg fell off before they even got it off the truck. I called up to Ashley furniture store in Cary and left a message and no one called me back. I let it be because it looked like the refunded me the cost of the coffee table on my account. Well 3 weeks later after I had already made other arrangements Ashley out of the blue texted me saying my coffee table was going to be delivered in a couple days. (I've had no contact whatsoever, no follow-up from the sales girl, no one returned my message, nothing.) Very poor service after the sale. I cannot in good conscience recommend the Ashley Furniture Store Cary location.

My husband and I were shopping for a new sectional. I had seen the Larce online and was very excited about the performance fabric and the fact that the covers are machine washable. Visited the Ashley Store in Cary NC to look for matching chest of drawers for set I purchased from an individual. I was greeted at the door by Matt Z, consultant. Showed him pictures of the set; he took me straight to it. Matt was friendly , a great help. He gave me all the discounts he could so I purchased the piece. He went over all the paperwork and delivery info. Great experience...I will certainly go back and ask for Matt! 😀

My wife and I had a great experience with Ebony at Ashley store purchasing a new mattress. She took her time to work with us and answered our questions. She didn't pressure us into buying anything we weren't looking for. We have bought at this location before and will continue to return to this store for future purchases.

Mayra was very helpful and a joy to work with. Saw a couch online that they didn’t have in the showroom, but she helped me find a similar style and the same fabric so that I could know what I was buying. This was the Ashley store we visited, and we walked out with the couch. This was the 3rd Ashley store in the Triangle that we visited and we walked out having purchased a couch. She was very knowledgeable of their product. As she was very popular she asked Jesus to assist with checking us out. He was very friendly and helpful as well.

My wife and I came into the store just looking at what options there were for furnishing our living room. We explained our situation to the sales specialist, Ebony, who was always professional and considerate. She was so great to work with.

We worked with Ebony, and she was GREAT - went above and beyond; originally came in to by a bed set and ended up coming back again to furnish the rest of our space for our first home - would recommend this Ashley location and Ebony for others looking to buy furniture!

This showroom was very clean and well laid out. Leah was welcoming when we walked in, guided us where to look for the chair I was wanting, and checked in without being pushy. I ended up purchasing a chair that will come in a few days and Leah was again very helpful in the checkout process.

Sale team was great,Rich is the man great guy. Very knowledgeable . However the communications for delivery is something very disappointing. Bought furniture the 8 th of October they have postponed delivery twice once without notice I had to call them just to be told I'm not getting a delivery. Sales team was great delivery sucks. I give to sales team 5 stars .Overall experience I would give 3 stars. I'm going to cancel the rest of my order. The rest of the order is suppose to be here November 5th so they say (don't believe it.) I'll never do business with Ashley again. Buyers beware.

Worked with Matt. Was a good, easy, low to no pressure buying experience. We had a good idea of what we were looking for, communicated that to him and he took us directly to those choices. We settled on a living room set that fit our needs perfectly and had a great sales price. It was quick and professional which was a good use of our time. Will shop here again.

My husband and I purchased a sectional couch for our new home. We went to the store prior to closing and were greeted/assisted by Mayra. She was warm, welcoming, and very informative. She helped us find the cushion type we were looking for while also helping us to understand the sales that would help our family when making this big purchase. She provided us with her contact information so we could follow up with any questions. After closing, I went back and met with Mayra again. She helped with the purchase and took her time to ensure the couch was exactly what we wanted (color, style, etc.). She was wonderful explaining the protection plans, delivery process, etc. Thank you Mayra for creating such a friendly environment, as well as a smooth purchasing process. We appreciate you so much!

Great experience from start to finish. Ebony was amazing. I had a lot of furniture to buy and wasn’t sure where to begin. The space I was furnishing is small. Ebony spent lots of time finding things that would fit and work with the spaces. She was kind and patient. She is an Interior Designer, so her ability to complete a beautiful aesthetic is wonderful. She listened, asked questions, and her suggestions were spot on. Finalizing the order was easy and they accommodated the date I needed delivery. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

DO NOT trust their diamond care program. A couple years ago I bought a couch and paid the extra $450 for the care program. A some time later in I reached out to get my couch cleaned and they said they dont offer it (which in store they said they do in the plan). Fast forward to today, I went into the store, purchased a mattress a couple months before my 5 years was up after confirming with customer care that I could use that as an applied credit I went in purchased a mattress IN STORE as they expressed was required. The credit did not appear on site and I was told by customer care that I needed to call in to have it applied. Well now they are saying due to a 3 day difference in their records that it is not applicable and have spending over $700 in two separate purchases they will not apply it unless I buy something else that is $499 or more. The sales people do not know what the policies are or what they are communicating to the customers. I simply said, well cant you just re-run the purchase and apply the credit now that it is existing? And the general answer was NO. that again, I have to buy something else for it to be applied. After at least 6 calls with customer service all they say is sorry nothing we can do. This is poor business operations when you give incorrect information to the customers and then simply deny what you promised them.
