I just recently purchased a lift chair at Ashley furniture. Upon entering the store I was immediately greeted by the most pleasant and courteous salesman named Daniel. He took me right over to the area that had all the lift chairs on the floor. I sat in and checked out the various features of all the lift chairs on the floor. However, none of the chairs on the floor quite met the features I wanted. I told Daniel I had purchased a lift chair in this very store quite a few years ago and said I would like one just like it. In no time he found the very same model in stock in the Ashley warehouse. I was so pleased to find the chair I wanted. And the price was much lower than I found at competitor's stores for lift chairs. It was a win/win for me and Daniel spent as much time as I needed to make a decision. We were greeted by Taylor who listened carefully to what we wanted and what our needs were. She was extremely friendly, energetic and professional as she showed us around. Through just chatting with us she also picked up that we weren’t sleeping well with the bed we had. She casually asked to check out a Temper-Pedic Ergo, and we were sold on it, even though we had never discussed or intended to buy one. When I walked in I was greeted by Mike. He asked me what I was looking for, told him I was looking for a new sofa. He asked me what kind of sofa and I gave him my list of "wants/needs" and he took me directly to a sofa that was perfect, even had a second (better) option! I was signing paperwork to purchase the sofa within 15 mins of walking through the door!

This review is actually for the delivery of my purchase. The lady who helped me in store was very nice and very helpful. I have absolutely no problem with the store. I bought a big bunk bed. I live on the 3rd floor of apartments so while I understand that's a pain in the butt to carry stuff up, I asked before I bought it if that would be an issue. I was told no and that they do that all the time. The ENTIRE time the delivery guys were here they were complaining about how much much work it was. It's like they were fishing for a tip, however I already paid quite a bit extra to have it assembled. Just for this awkward encounter I probably won't be buying anything from here if it needs to be assembled. Honestly it made me a little uncomfortable how much they complained in front of me. However, they did do a good job putting it together and I apologized for the flights of stairs and thanked them.

5 stars for Taylor was fantastic. Would like to Ashley's have more options for fabrics and prints. Very limited with respect to that.

We visited Ashley after memorial day and it was quite. We were greeted by Dan, who explained the store layout and let us browse through the collection. Once we liked few furniture items, Dan helped and explained us the features as well as what will meet our requirements. He helped us seal the deal which we initially didn't plan. The only issue was late delivery as some of the items were backordered due to memorial day. So far, we are liking our furniture.

Lesson Learned - I recently purchased furniture from Ashley and had a mixed experience. Ebony, an in-store representative, was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. If it were based on her service alone, this review would be five stars. However, there's a significant issue that potential buyers need to be aware of: the inconsistency between the online and in-store terms and conditions. The online terms and conditions are much more consumer-friendly, offering better protections and flexibility for returns, exchanges, and cancellations. Unfortunately, the in-store terms and conditions are a different story. When shopping in-store, you are subject to stricter policies that will leave you feeling cheated. This discrepancy will result in unexpected costs and frustrating experiences. Despite Ebony’s excellent service, the discrepancies in policies between online and in-store purchases are a significant drawback. I strongly recommend reviewing these policies thoroughly before making an in-store purchase. If possible, avoid shopping in-store and opt for online purchases where the terms are more favorable. Ashley Furniture needs to align their in-store policies with their online terms to avoid deceiving customers. Buyer beware!

Ashley’s home furniture has very nice things but is very expensive which I don’t mind paying for if it’s good quality and I’m satisfied with my purchase but when my dining set was delivered to me the delivery guys messed up on it and so I have an incomplete dining table. I have had it for almost two months like that and already have made a payment on it and they have still not came to fix it. So really not a happy customer right now.

Ashley was fantastic. Mayra directed me to another store in the Raleigh area that had the furniture in-stock to sit on. She was fantastic during the purchasing process and we were able to finalize the purchase in a secure manner on-line.

We have had great experiences with Leia and Karen Biard at Ashley Homestore. They have been phenomenal in working with us. Leia worked with us to get our loveseat sets and new bed. She was kind, patient and appreciated our wacky sense of humor. But more importantly she was honest with us. She was so good in following up with the delivery of each piece. We were so happy with the service that we went back and met Karen. God bless her soul for dealing with my husband. But he was very happy with how she got the bedroom furniture ordered and processed for us. And she took the time to make sure everything was just right. We love the care and customer service that we receive here as it is very hard to find anymore. These ladies deserve high kuddos for all that they do and how wonderful they treat their customers!

We've always been hesitant to visit furniture stores because they usually pounce on you as soon as you get in the door and if you tell them you are just looking around they will follow you around. Well, that is not the case at Ashley in Cary. Karen met us just inside, but it was more of a welcome in type of experience. She left us alone to look around the store and when we were ready she answered our questions and guided us through the purchasing process. Everyone at this location is nice except for the employee name Karen. We used to be clients of her for our go to furniture buy but when we had issues with our order she was not helpful at all. We switched to another employee to help us and ever since that every-time we come in karen ignores and doesn't even have the decency to acknowledge ones presence. Not even out of respect. So an employee who acts towards that way to customers just because we didn't like her service….is definitely in the wrong profession there.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Randy, while purchasing a new mattress from Ashley. I can't praise him enough for the outstanding assistance he provided. He was extremely patient and genuinely committed to ensuring I found the perfect mattress. He didn't rush me or push for a quick sale; instead, he prioritized my comfort and satisfaction above all else. I would highly recommend anyone looking to shop at Ashley to ask for Randy!

I was in the store today to purchase a bedroom set and a desk. Prices were not listed for the bedroom furniture and the desk was priced $300 more in the store than on the Ashley Furniture website. I asked for prices for the bedroom furniture and each piece was priced $400-500 more than what was online. The sales associate told me they would price match. Then I asked for the 60 month financing that is only offered in the store. They told me if I wanted the 60 month financing then it would be at the store price and not the price match price from the Ashley Furniture website. I questioned why they were charging two different prices based on whether financing was involved; the price is the price, it shouldn't change. The associate offered to have his manager come over to see what he could offer. The manager then tried to "car salesman" me. He wanted to know what was more important the price of the furniture or the monthly payment price. I asked him I wanted the best price he could give me and then give me the opportunity to decide. He said he could provide 7 different options, so I asked for those options. At that point the general manager told me he was trying to help me and I was being unreasonable. So me asking for the best price he can provide, asking to see what options he has and he tells me I'm being unreasonable. He then tells me that during COVID everything was flying on the shelves so they can offer whatever price they want. This is the manager of the store telling a customer who is asking to see and understand what the options that the customer is being unreasonable.

Randy helped my mother in law pick out a couch, dining room table and chairs, and a king bed frame. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and personable with all of us. We’ll definitely be asking for him when and if we need new furniture!

I’ve been to multiple furniture stores in the last few weeks, and immediately upon walking in to Ashley in Cary, Ebony greeted me with the friendliness and help I didn’t know I needed. I was used to salespeople just saying “let me know if you need anything” but Ebony took me directly to pieces she sniffed out that I would like. She was direct, friendly, and gave bestie vibes. As a girl buying a home on her own, this was terrifying, but she held my hand and made it so much easier. Her expertise in Interior Design was a breath of fresh air as I tried to figure out what would fit in my new space. Seriously, grateful for her. I won’t buy from anyone but her!

We recently moved to the area and need to get new living room furniture, a dining set, and counter stools. I normally hate furniture shopping because of pushy sales people and overwhelming options. Ebony greeted us at the door at 1000 as they opened. She was so sweet. We initially were looking at gliding recliners, and thought we could figure out what goes in our space. Ebony was so kind and helped us draw out what she saw would work well in our space and incorporated pieces we already had. She gave us a couple great options to think about. We were not ready to pull the trigger- and there was NO PRESSURE.

I had a terrible experience with Shaq Webley as our salesman. Not only did he fail to assist us when our furniture didn't arrive on time as promised, but he also initially placed the wrong order. It took a frustrating 4 and 1/2 months before we finally received our furniture. When we visited the store seeking answers, Shaq completely ignored us, actively avioid us, and offered no assistance whatsoever, despite being the one who sold us the furniture. His customer service skills were severely lacking, and he was nowhere to be found when we needed help. On the other hand, Kary was the real hero in this situation, going above and beyond to make things right. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Shaq's worst customer service; go see Kary instead for a much better experience.

My wife and I recently went to the Piney Plains Road store just to see what might let us find a reasonably priced bed for the guest bedroom in a house we are moving into three months from now. We got such wonderful support from both Leah and Ebony that we ended up buying a mattress, box spring, and bed frame on the spot. They will hold the bed until we are ready to have it delivered. Every one of the items we purchased was on sale, so the price was right but don't let me fail to note that we also get a great military discount as both my wife and I are retired US Army officers. Decided to stop in this store after dinner while we were in the area as we needed a new bed. We were immediately greeted by Ben when we walked in. He asked if we needed help or wanted to wander around , when we said we wanted to wander he gave us a couple helpful points and then gave us our space to walk around the store. Once we had found a couple options we liked we found Ben again. We told him our goal which was to just find a bed to match the rest of our bedroom set (we decided to upgrade from a Queen to a king). He agreed the ones we liked worked, but also showed us another option that we had missed walking around on our own and it was ultimately the one we went with ( it was right in the price range of the others we liked , he wasn’t being pushy or trying to way up sell us which was nice. Just understood our needs and was being helpful). When we decided to look at mattresses too , Ben and another associate stayed after closing time to help us get everything settled. Overall, the staff is really very helpful and nice. Not pushy! Thank you all for everything, I highly recommend coming to this location and working with Ben and his team!

Went to the Cary store looking for a few pieces that would do for our 2 people home and wouldn't break the bank if you plan on visiting, Keep in mind that this isn't Ethan Allen or a boutique high-end store. It's just "OK". Our sales associate, Taylor, was very knowledgeable about Ashley furniture's products and promos and was able to make it work for us.

Worked with Danny to find several pieces of furniture. He was great to work with and low pressure sales. We found several pieces we liked and he helped us get the best value for the price. Also, delivery was scheduled for only a couple of days after we purchased, no long wait time. We’re going back for additional furniture and will definitely work with Danny again.
