I buy new table and they delivered broken table and they said when delivery ready they can’t exchange or do nothing. Unbelievable how they do this with me . I think because I’m Asia people. If you’re black or white they will take care better

DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM!! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THEY LIE! Let me tell you my horror story with them. They do not explain well that once the furniture is dropped off you can’t return it. I asked questions asking is there any possibility I could return the furniture if it was too big for my apartment. Because sometimes that happens. They said yes and I had 30 days to call back and get it returned. So when the unfortunate event happened that the furniture was too big they wouldn’t let me return it. WHICH IS CRAZY. They lied to me in the store just to get a sale. Something about a “competition”. RICKY my salesperson was just as fake and didn’t explain anything proper to me about the process. They claim I had to “refute” it when it was delivered at that very moment but none of that was explained. I even called corporate and they said it was nothing they can do. I even tried to explain how I would just like to exchange it for something else but they wouldn’t let me. I tried to let this situation go but I genuinely hate my furniture and I get so frustrated when I see it. So take my advice and DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS GREEDY COMPANY. Also I don’t even leave reviews but this time I had to say something. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS STORE!!!!!

I was trying to find a recliner for my son who had moved to charlotte. He had started work immediately and had no time to search for furniture for his empty apartment. The salesman at the store named Reggie was able to help me find a recliner in the store that could be delivered the next day which was so helpful I was able to pay it from my phone and my son has a chair on the way so I’m so glad he has something other than a bed in his new apartment. Good work, Reggie.

Just go to Temu. Same quality, less expensive. I was delivered the wrong color sofa after specifically telling the sales associate the picture on my receipt looked different than the color of the furniture in the store and was told “oh, that’s just the printer. There’s only one brown.” Then the delivery occurred earlier than my expected window. Obviously the color is wrong and there’s a whole with stuffing coming out of the chair. I told them, expecting them to call someone and they said I have to go back to the Ashley store and to sign that it was delivered. I asked if this was confirming everything was accurate or just that they delivered. They told me AND I read what I signed stating I was only signing that the items were delivered, which was odd to me but that’s what it said. When speaking with Ashley, of course they said oh all of that had to be addressed with the delivery company (3rd party). Never again. There’s too many options out there to have to deal with this. I ordered Amazon brand’s living room furniture, delivery, quality, and aesthetic were too notch. I went to Ashley because it was convenient at the moment and I just picked out the most comfortable lease senior-citizen looking furniture I could find. Learn from my mistakes.

I called here three times this morning to inquire about them having a couch in the showroom to come see. The first two times I heard them pickup the phone and hang up. The third they let ring to voicemail. I suppose the associates are not interested in making sales here. Not a good look for their customer service. I’ll go elsewhere.

I was desperately searching for a power chair for my sister today when I called the University location of Ashley Furniture. An absolute angel named Virgie answered the phone. I explained my needs to her and she immediately assured me that we would find something. She worked tirelessly, even sending me pictures of what they had to save me a trip over there. She found me an absolute bargain, even more than I had hoped for at my price range. I was able to go over and get an ideal chair thanks to her! I hope her company appreciates her as much as I do! Employees of this nature are an absolute bonus for them as well as their customers. . BTW, this is my second power recliner purchase from Ashley. Their furniture is reasonably priced and durable. Highly recommend and absolutely ask for Virgie!

Had a great experience. Mickey was extremely helpful and took the time to show us a lot of options and explain everything including the warranty coverage. We bought 2 items and then ended up calling and adding another. He was amazing.

Buyer beware. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired and they don’t care about the customer. My husband and I purchased a master bedroom set which was delivered to our new home, had it for a couple of weeks before we moved into the new home and actually slept on it. We had slept on the bed for a week - and one night the entire mattress fell about three inches and the bed slat system broke. Come to find out - they had installed the bed slats wrong. My husband has been on the phone with customer service for hours for the last two weeks - the bed slats are not in stock, unknown when they will be in stock, and they will not pull it off a new bed set to replace. We have been sleeping on our old mattress and a couch since we can’t sleep on the new bed. And they will not give us an estimated time this will be resolved after we bought the set for thousands of dollars. This is ridiculous. Do NOT buy from Ashley- they do not care about the customer.

I bought a sectional from this Ashley store and bought a cushion protection plan for $399 because I explained to the salesperson that I have dogs. She stated that the protection plan would cover any damages from the dogs nails. This was my specific concern because it is a tweed like fabric. I have since made two claims for cushions, one for loose threads caused by the dogs nails and the other for a burn mark. The first was rejected because the plan does not cover any damages made by dogs. That was the first lie I uncovered after having to request statuses on the claim multiple times. They (5StarService) do not contact you if there is a problem. I had filled out the claim form online but the system rejected the photos and we were not alerted. I had to figure that out on my own by calling them. Then that first claim was rejected anyway. I am now working on the second claim for the burn mark and I am about 8 emails and a month in now where I am basically harassing them for a status and they keep asking me for more and more pictures. This plan that Ashley sells is a scam. At best 5StarService are working with a skeleton crew that does not leave notes for the next person and they don't communicate with you or each other. Save yourself the $399, your time and sanity and just buy the replacement cushions directly from Ashley. Better yet just don't. The sectional we bought is already sinking in some places and it is only a year and a half old. Absolute nonsense and lies. I have had to send less documentation to my health insurance to make them cover an MRI. This is a replacement cushion cover not a Kidney! Why does it have to be this hard?

Gentleman who sold it to me was great to work with and been sending texts weekly to say hopefully in a couple weeks. Appreciate him, but this is getting very frustrating!

Not a lot of transparency on price until they ask you for payment. Had to ask for a hard copy before noticing additional adds to the bill such as pillows. Price changed on delivery cost. Price online lower than what I was originally quoted which I pointed out. Left feeling like I was taken. I won't be back. Buyer beware!

Micah was the absolute BEST!! He was knowledgeable, helpful, attentive but left us to browse and kept checking in with us. He was keeping our electronic cart so we didn’t have to deal with anything except selecting our furniture. We recently moved here with only a mattress and 2 chairs and were shopping for a 3 bedroom house so it wasn’t a small or fast purchase. He even found a way to maximize our discounts! At checkout he arranged a delivery date that meets our needs with our purchase closing date of the house. If we could give 11 stars to Micah we would! We will beg purchasing a few more items once we are moved in and we will return to work with Micah again.

Thank you Update: I received my dining room set I love it but I did not received a sale receipt from the store just an email with the order number. The price on the agreement from Progressive shows a bigger amount and no its not their fees. But the price went from $1400 and change to more than $1600. Not cool.

This is a nice location. I feel that it is tucked away as most people don’t even know that it’s here as you cannot see the location from the road. I was looking for modern furniture hopefully to find swivel chairs however not a lot of modern furniture . I’m not a fan at all of this comeback, country furniture with wood beds, leather sofas, and so forth. They do have a large selection .

William Duarte was super helpful. We went in unsure if we were going to buy anything, but he made sure we were happy and sastified with our purchase and we got exactly what we were looking for.

Dave was incredible! We came into the store hoping for a new couch, and he helped us get a new couch and bed. The process was seamless and the team was warm and helped us to get a great deal. If you're ok the fence about getting a couch or a new bed, I'd highly recommend visiting the University Drive location. 10 out of 10!

I came in with my mother and sisters to find a bedroom and sofa for a small space.. Lydia was so kind, patient and helpful with our demanding and a bit much group. She was just wonderful!!

Dwayne Baker Was the best! You often feel pressured in furniture stores, but not with Dwayne. He was friendly, informative, checked on us but never hovered. We ended up buying a couch and he made it so easy! We will be back to see him when we need anything else.

My husband and I visited Ashley on Sunday and had our furniture by Wednesday. We went in looking for a sleeper sofa and an accent chair, but changed our minds and opted for comfy sectional and oversized accent swivel chair.
