Danny was amazing! He was knowledgeable about their selection and didn’t pressure me into a purchase. He did a great job finding me a deal on a dresser and chest set I saw online. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture as I have several pieces of theirs and working with Danny was great!
VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS STORE!!! I went into this store to purchase some new furniture for my new home. I found several things that I liked and purchased that day with cash. My closing fell through due to the owner not being able to pay his backtaxes. I had already canceled my delivery twice so I thought I needed to go ahead and get a refund as I had nowhere to store this furniture. I was told by customer service that you only have 3 days to cancel an order. After that you have to pay a 10% restocking fee. No one told me that when I bought this furniture. I also mentioned that I was getting a house so I feel like that was a disservice from the beginning. I had mentioned to the sales associate about getting some pillows thrown in with my order. I didn't know that the mattress purchase that I was making included a $300 discount on anything else in the store. Instead of him telling me that and letting me choose what I wanted to get he "threw" in the pillows which I really didn't want. When I did cancel my order customer service was absolutely no help. I called several times, i sent emails nothing helped. In the end I was stuck with the $300 pillows because they were non-refundable....go figure. And also I had to pay $452 restocking fee! Horrible customer service. Very unrealistic company policies.I will NEVER shop Ashley furniture store again!
I bought my king and queen mattresses as well as metal frame box springs on July 2nd. On July 3rd my debit card was compromised, someone bought over $2400 worth of stuff online. We immediately called Ashley furniture and my husband spoke to the store manager there and stated she would get in touch with our general manager and someone will call you back as of today July 22nd I myself had to call back and I spoke to Amanda who was the GM, general manager over everyone. She stated there was nothing they could do even there accounting department never called them about the situation! I was FURIOUS! I even spoke to them about my king size metal frame box spring that it was way to short almost to the ground and comparing it to our sons queen size and his was higher but yet we bought the same thing! I’m so over it I wanted a refund , the GM stated well I’m not authorized to give you one that would need to go to our senior person. How about she called back and left a VM stating all sales are final when it comes to bedding materials! I got even madder because that was NOT what was explained to us in the store by the sales person who sold us this very low and unstable metal frame! I can understand about mattresses but a metal frame that we paid $300 dollars, smh! I’m so beyond disgusted with this store I will never recommend them to anyone at all! No one not even the GM helped us at all no refund and NO to me about getting my $2400 back!!! I want my $2400 dollars back plus $300 for that low to the ground metal frame!! Worst experience I ever had and yet they did absolutely nothing to help me!

We had a great experience here with Pete purchasing a new sectional. We initially met him while browsing a few months ago and he was friendly and helpful and didn't push us, which we appreciated as we were just starting to look. We found a piece we liked and went back to this location to specifically work with him on our options and ordering. The store has a lot of pieces for ordering new on the floor, as well as furniture that is marked down in the back since it's an outlet.
Came in earlier and took pictures of what I liked. Danny was helpful in explain everything. Came back later that day and purchased what I wanted from pictures. Very easy and all the employees were extremely nice and helpful. Even the ones that weren’t making a commission.

Had the best experience with Pete at Ashley Outlet in South Blvd. I stopped by after work yesterday just to see what they had. Pete greeted me immediately, introduced himself and let me take a look around without any pressure. I ended up finding the perfect piece, but I hadn’t measured for it, so I couldn’t make the purchase while I was there. I went back this morning, and Pete came right up to me and processed my order in less than ten minutes. I have a lot of anxiety when dealing with salespeople, but Pete was so easy to work with. He was super friendly and efficient. I’ve got a few more items to purchase and I will absolutely be working with him again. 12/10

Posting this review just an hour after delivery: My husband and I recently bought a coffee table from this store for around $800. We were promised a brand new piece, but what we received today was a damaged and worn display model. The delivery team was in such a hurry that I barely had time to inspect the table. I noticed some chipping on one side and was quickly offered a discount or a re-delivery by customer service. The delivery team pushed me to take the discount, muting the service agent on the call and insisting that re-delivery would take a long time. Regrettably, I agreed to the discount of just $110. After the delivery team left, I took a closer look and found multiple damages and dust, indicating it had been a display piece. When I called customer care within 30 minutes to return the table, they were unhelpful and claimed that nothing could be done once the product was delivered and accepted. This product is not worth the price at all! The metal has lost all its color and the wood too! I am extremely disappointed with this experience and will never shop here again!

I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience with Jennifer was! From the moment we walked through the door she was so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I just moved to NC from NY and in desperate need of furniture. She was so patient while we tried every mattress in the store lol. While pricing it out for us she accommodated our request to price match the website prices and even updated our order remotely once we measured at home and realized we could fit larger nightstands than we ordered. I highly recommend the Ashley outlet. Please ask for Jennifer you will not be disappointed!!!

These decisions can drive some anxiety - furniture is expensive, you are going to live with it for a while, it’s what you and others will see / look at every day - so a tense situation for sure, but these folks don’t add to the anxiety, they are very helpful. I went to Ashley Furniture, on South Blvd, the last hour they were open on a Tuesday night. Angel was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I had a couple of things that I wanted to go home and ponder on as well as measure my space for a bedroom set. Overnight, I made my final selections and the next day I returned on my lunch break to make my purchase. Angel brought up a couple of good points for me to consider before my final selection and from there I was squared away! He got me in and out in no time and I was on my way back to work. I’m extremely happy and will return for the next room that I’m soon to work on!

Ashley Outlet on South Blvd in Charlotte is wonderful! I went there in the early afternoon on Wednesday looking for a new mattress. Peter was very helpful and friendly and showed me the mattress specials. I was able to buy a very comfortable one and saved $1000! I even got financing with 0% interest and $0 down! I also got free delivery and they will pickup my old mattress! I was in and out of the store in 45 minutes. Excellent visit!

Great store, I’m glad we made the trip. It was our 5th or 6th stop looking for a sectional and we finally found something that wood work for us. Prices aren’t bad and Alison, who helped us out, was awesome. Have to wait a while for delivery though. Kind of a bummer.

I actually came in on a Saturday, he promoted a sales opportunity to me that was happening later that week on Thursday, so he gave my his number and his schedule so I could come in and he could work with me directly which was amazing! (He even worked past when his shift ended to help me, so I cannot emphasize how much that speaks to his character!) If anyone I know needs furniture in the future, I would definitely recommend them to Ashley’s but more specifically Ian! Now crossing our fingers delivery is just as smooth!🤞🏻

My shopping experience was great. For the store to be an outlet, the pricing was still a little steep. Overall the sales rep that assisted me was very knowledgeable and helpful.
I just had one of the worst experience at this place. My credit was ran and still denied for the account. This was disgusting because my credit was good enough to open and account and have the money for a monthly bill. Even if I was denied I still have enough money to pay straight out with no bill. The women didn't want my money and didn't want to service me. The salesman was very nice while trying to service me. However there were two women sitting behind the desk (White Women) and besides the ugly stares they didn't greet me when I walked in the store. They made me sign my signature on my application 4 times because they thought I was forging my own name which is impossible. They had no reason why I was denied however they did not want to rent to me and they ran my credit. I have enough credit for a consumer account. They ran my credit score so much that it says the report that was pulled was a hard inquiry than can last up to 25 months. Rude customer service and bad business.

I bought a couch, table set w/ chairs, mattress, and bed frame. It was all very reasonably priced. It looks great and is very sturdy. I was helped by Allison, who was very patient and helpful. If I ever need more furniture I’m definitely coming back to this outlet. I highly recommend it!

Me and my wife came in, we had an idea of mattress, and base but those options were above our budget, Peter took great care of us. We ended up with a more affordable version of the mattress we wanted that was still amazing 🤩. We ended up with the base that was basically the same but more affordable since we did not actually need all the bells and whistles of the base I originally wanted. He even showed us some AMAZING pillows. I’ve never felt such amazing pillows (purple pillows) it’s so weird but comfortable. We were also able to price match the bed frame that we saw online but wasn’t in store! Everything he did was amazing and we couldn’t be more impressed with him. I would honestly want to have him help me out anytime I go to Ashley. If this was a graded assignment I’d give him an A+ (112%).

Angel helped us understand all of the ins and outs of every item, as well as comparing what we wanted with other items that would work for us. After a house fire and loosing most everything in our home, he created a long list of needed items with me and worked with me over several months. We finalized the first part of a long list today and our delivery will be within the week. We will be back soon for the second shipment of things. The best furniture store hands down! By the way it’s an outlet and a store so you really have options for any budget. First, I appreciate the quality of Ashley furniture period. The 1st living room set I had was 16 yrs old when I gave it away in 2022 & people always ask why “b/c it was new”. I’ve always wanted a sectional. But wasn’t sure if it was in my budget. Isaiah talked everything out with me even though I was really indecisive due to my current space vs. the space I’m envisioning next year. Regardless, I needed furniture now and was even considering a sofa. He listened to everything I was saying and helped me choose what I really wanted deep down and I’m super happy he was in the store that day. The whole staff is amazing but he just got me. I appreciate the no pressure sales approach. I was able to look around and he could tell when I had questions and he really impressed me with his knowledge on the products which made me even more comfortable with my decision. Made a purchase for a bed/matress/box spring mid August and was informed that my purchase would be delivered 9/12 and that the team would reach out 48 priors to confirm delivery. Was also informed that I would receive my receipt and everything via email. Received nothing. 9/12 comes and I hear nothing from Ashley, no email/call or anything. Contact Ashley myself and they say the mattress is on back order until 10/2. Would have never known had I not contacted Ashley myself. Received an email at the end of September saying they weren’t sure when the mattress would be available but i should receive an email once the mattress was in so that a delivery could be scheduled. I go into Ashley two weeks ago to get an update on my order. The salesman says it shows everything is ready and they just need to schedule a delivery. I asked why no one had reached out to me and he said he was unsure but could schedule the delivery. He scheduled the delivery for 9/12 and said I would be contacted 48 hours prior. On 9/12 I still had heard nothing from Ashley so I reached out. They said unfortunately their system was down so they weren’t able to contact me for the delivery. I guess the system was down for 2 days since I didn’t get the 48 contact prior to 9/12. She reschedules me for Monday, (today). I finally get the delivery confirmation 9/14. 9/16 get here and I’m informed (by the delivery guys) that they are having trouble finding the apartment. I send the address via text. They let me know they are down stairs. They elevator was having a few issues and moving a little slower than normal. Let them know I’m getting the elevator key and that I’m coming down. They can’t wait “too long” because they have to make other deliveries. On my way down to the loading dock, the team leaves. Now I have to wait until tomorrow after 2pm to reschedule again (their policy) after taking this day off work for the delivery. The absolute worst delivery and customer service experience I have ever received from a company. Will definitely be my last purchase with Ashely.

Poor quality, poor customer service, worst experience in last 10 years. I will make sure folks in my network know that and do not make the same mistake of buying from Ashley. We had very poor experience with what material quality we saw in the outlet versus what was delivered. Many quality issues, there furniture is not prepared with any sense of symmetry and each piece even in the same style will have differences of seems, their locations, and uneven cushions. Delivery was very unprofessional, only purpose was to let us have it since after first acceptance we could not return and on repeated calls finally after three weeks and lot of frustration we got someone to agree to exchange. Even the exchange had more or less same quality issues. After struggling for 6 to 8 weeks they did paid us $500 back for our more than $8000 purchase in the name of bad customer experience. Additionally, promised price breaks on exchange but did not paid at the end by latter telling that it was not accepted. Probably they just wanted to keep it at time of delivery to gave those fake price reductions and latter reject. Poor quality, poor customer service, worst experience in last 10 years.

I returned after lunch and he was there answer more questions and help me throughout the process.

This store is amazing I walked in early in the day just looking around because my husband and I were considering a better couch and possibly a bed. I met Kim the sleep manager and I was so thankful I did. We talked about what I was looking for and mentioned the back pain that my husband and I have had and she was able to help me find the best bed for my husband and I as well as a beautiful couch in our price range. Ian Stokes was amazing until the end ….I came in on a Monday and went home to decide on merchandise Ian called me on Tuesday and stated he was available I called at the last minute on wed and he met me at the store within an hour and we made a beautiful sale … within 2 days things changed for the worse Ian called and said if I didn’t come back to do a another credit application they would cancel my delivery ( I didn’t use Ashley, I paid cash for all my merchandise) after the meek threat I wanted to just cancel the order, get my money back and go somewhere else! Needless to sayAshley has great furniture but their customer service is terrible not to mention the threat so I will not ever be purchasing anything else from this company!

Isaiah gave me and my partner (LGBTQA friendly) plenty of space to talk while remaining available and informative. It felt like we went to a friend to help us - sincerely. Notably, he made suggestions that weren't the most pricey but truly checked our boxes. Not to mention, at a price better than we had budgeted for! We are planning on purchasing a mattress later this fall and we will be returning here and asking for Isaiah by name. Pro Tip: If you come on the weekend, make sure and grab food from the food truck outside (Her Gee Spot)!

After finding one we liked, he asked us how well do we sleep at night & we walked out with both a new sofa & the most amazing bed I’ve ever laid my body on. His knowledge on sleep & how the type of bed really makes a difference was amazing. Awful experience for my family here. Dan and Amanda were the salespeople. They wrote down the wrong numbers for the bed, email AND phone number. Ashley Furniture has delivered the wrong bed 4 times to their home. No one in customer service is competent. Dan and Amanda won't help fix the issue. Absolute nightmare of a purchase.

Ok service until u buy. New sales person Daniel was nice but wasn’t knowledgeable. Called back because the auto call had the wrong address. I called the store and was asked to repeat address. I emphasized that I heard the wrong street name and zip code. The managers respond was well we have that address. I feel she should have went further. Upon hanging up, I called the delivery number I’m sure the store has and had it fixed, I was correct the address was way off. If I did not do my due diligence, the deliver people would have been wandering frustrated and rushed by the confusion. An extra step goes a long way. Hopefully, the delivery and furniture is up to par.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We have had the wrong bed delivered FOUR times. The only reason we needed a bed was because my husband had a hip replacement and we needed an elevated bed for after surgery. This is absolutely ridiculous.

UPDATED REVIEW: Avoid purchasing furniture here in store at all costs, unless you want to pay double the price!!!!! We purchased 4 dining chairs and 2 bar stools. The 4 dining chairs weren’t in stock at the store and had to be shipped while we were able to take the two bar stools home the same day. While in store, we REPEATEDLY asked if we were being charged for double of each item as they are sold in SETS OF TWO, therefore we would not need 4 sets of 2 chairs and 2 sets of 2 barstools… We were completely taken advantage of as they told us the opposite, that each was sold individually… completely contradictory of their own packaging/website (not ashley home stores but their specific outlet website). We called today before our chairs got delivered tomorrow to deal with their clear error and we’re given the runaround. After trying to blame us, they told us that they would have to try to put in a special ticket for our dining chairs to be adjusted and would be unable to help us in the barstools as we took them home, even though we only took home half of what we paid for. There is no way they would have removed one stool the set of two from the SET OF TWO box and sold them as individual stools, yet they charged us for each stool individually… Ultimately, they adjusted the cost for the chairs, but we are out $300 for the barstools. The manager told us to call corporate customer care, we called corporate and they told us they can’t do ANYTHING and all discretion is up to the store… Clearly they could adjust for THEIR mistake and are CHOOSING not to. I urge you to use caution and only purchase online or go somewhere else entirely. I can’t imagine wanting to ever work with a business who took advantage of a young couple making their first furniture purchase together. Truly a shame. OLD: Everyone was so kind and extremely helpful! We were in and out with new barstools as well as dining chairs!

The furniture I got for my living room is too big (it blocks my balcony door) My husband received the delivery and called me to explain what is happening (delivery date 02/01/2023 11:00 am) I called Ashley customer care ( 02/02/2023 11:00 am. 24 hour later, not a week later or a month later) to request an exchange (I don’t mind to pay a fee for the delivery or extra for a different furniture) but they simply said NO. The “terms and conditions” shows a not return or exchange of any furniture ( I am not sure how many pages are) but nobody explains that to you when you pay $2k to get your furniture. This is the worst experience I have had with a furniture store. This situation is not professional at all. The supervisor just said that she understand my concern but those are the terms and conditions of the store (no helpful at all) they don’t really care about their customers but sell their items. I hope everyone red this review and avoid to go to this store or at least review before sign every single page of their unreal terms and conditions.

Had a good experience at first but now 6 months later I'm noticing we were lied to about the financing we received. Was supposed to be 12 months financing and ended up being 36% interest. After making 6 or 7 paynents our balance is still the full amount. At this rate the couch wont be any good by the time we have it paid off on their terms. This is straight highway robbery. Ashley should be ashamed of themselves for even working with such a scam of a finance company. We never would have agreed to this financing had the real terms been explained.

Bought a couch Black Friday - waited 4 weeks for paid delivery and install. Installers broke the couch and hid the damage against a wall. Thank god I found it less the 3 days in so it’s being reluctantly replaced. But now my brand new couch doesn’t have an estimated time of arrival. Probably another 4-6 weeks! $2000 not well spent! Poor service. Poor furniture quality. Poor installers. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Have received zero compensation after paying $500 for delivery and install! I would have had been better off buying a couch of Craigslist!

Both the search and the streak ended when we found this Ashley Outlet in Charlotte. Alex Miller helped us from start to finish, and managed to get us an incredible price on a 6 piece sectional. She was terrific, and I couldn't recommend a better place if you're looking for a new piece of furniture. We'll definitely be heading back.

The day before the first scheduled delivery, I told them to call my girlfriend when they arrived because I was at work and was unable to answer. They arrive 5 hours late and what do they do?? Call my number ONE time and then leave. My girlfriend had been waiting at the apartment complex all day waiting. I call and explain the situation. They said there is going to be a $80 rescheduling fee. FINALLY I get the rescheduling fee waived and reschedule the delivery for another week out. This time I make sure they know to call my girlfriend. The day of the SECOND delivery. They said the couch would arrive between 11:00-2:00. Fast forward. After 9 phone calls and trying to get updates, missing a dinner reservation, we decided to leave the apartment at 7:00PM to make sure we weren’t going to miss a show we had tickets to. We get a call at 7:50. 7:50?!?! Saying our delivery has arrived and is waiting for us. Of course we were already gone and now we have to reschedule AGAIN. And I’m sure they’re going to want to try and charge another $80 rescheduling fee. TLDR; this has been the worst delivery experience. Now on our THIRD try to get one small love couch delivered. I have zero faith it will be delivered this time.

I came to the Ashley Homestore outlet looking for a recliner for my 90 year old mom and was assisted by Gina. She took her time with me, let me try out the recliner and answered all my questions. It was actually a very relaxed experience and I would highly recommend her if you need help with your furniture search!

We had such a good experience! In the store we were helped by someone named Mo and he was fantastic. The delivery process was also a week ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise. My husband and I came in looking to find a specific color couch and possibly a dining table. With the help of Moe Sutter and his amazing customer service we were able to obtain the sofa and loveseat we wanted and the dining table with bench that the kids wanted.
In this place they deceive people when they buy products they say things that they are not going to comply with and also the manager of this place is very rude.
My experience tonight was the greatest I have ever experienced since I moved to Charlotte. I’ve visited this location and the sales rep by the name of Gina assisted me the entire time. Sadly it turned out with my situation I couldn’t make the purchase at the store. Gina however showed me ways in which I can receive the merchandise even though she wasn’t able to make a commission on the transaction. I wasn’t able to buy my stuff at the store I had to make the payment online and she even showed me through that process. Bear in mind she was not going to make anything on this transaction . Gina was friendly she was kind she was patient she was honest she was smart she was very competent and she was most of all a pleasure to work with. To be honest I need to find a way to make this purchase at the store she needs to make a commission for her hard work she deserves it . We found exactly what we were looking for and from the sales floor to delivery and assembly, everything was seamless. This was not our first time purchasing at this location and I'm sure we'll be back when the need arises.
Went to the outlet store looking for a black dresser. When I walked in I was greeted then told to go to the back (clearance area) to look for one. Walked around the store didn’t see on. When I walked back up front I was asked did I see one online? I showed him the one I wanted to see if they sold it in stores. He said no so I left to think about what I would do next because he needed a dresser urgently. I was a little upset when I went back in. He basically just pulled up the item and told me I would have to light assemble like put the drawers together. I’m like okay cool. He didn’t advised or go over the product details. Fast forward to delivery day. The delivery men dropped off the dresser asked for my signature and left. When I saw the box I was like this looks like more than, just needing the drawers put together. Secondly I wasn’t even offered the option to have someone put it together for m. Thirdly now I have the dresser together and it barley comes to my knees. This isn’t considered a child’s dresser. Good customer service would have one seen I was upset and went over the order a little more with me. Now I’m waiting to see if they will let me do an exchange if not I’m stuck with this little dresser that I can’t use. Update: Still having issuing with returning the dresser. Don’t buy from them unless you are exactly sure and certain that is what you want. I will not be coming back to shop here.
Experience was great. I liked that when I came in I wasn’t pressured to buy anything they let me shop at my own pace. I was able to get what I want and was in stocked to be delivered this week which was a plus! I’m excited to get my bedroom setup

Found 3 blankets on clearance… 2 blankets were $19.99 and the third one i had was $5. I chose the $5 blanket and the worker stated I had to buy all 3 blankets in order to get the 1 blanket for $5…. She also stated someone came into the store and marked out 19.99 and put $5 on the tag (Who has time to go into Ashley’s & change prices) don’t know why she did this but I’m very upset about it. Any other store would honor the price! Hate I didn’t take pics. Other than that, Gina was extremely nice and helpful! Hate she had to clock out

Purchased furniture at the south blvd outlet store. The first problem came with the delivery of my items. The items were delivered almost 2 months after I was told they would be. Sandy was my sales rep. She was actually great in doing everything she could to make it right. I financed through their financing company Acceptance now. I had an issue which I contacted acceptance now about and the account manager claimed she wasn’t able to help me. The manager of Ashley, Alex, claimed that she would be able to help by escalating to corporate and that I would receive a call from someone from corporate. No one called. I’ve called 4 times to speak with Alex again. Each time some one tells me that she either not working and will give me a call when she returns or she’s busy and they’ll leave my number for her to call me back. Still nothing. This process went terribly and their follow up is even more terrible. Will not spend my hard earned money here again.

Mo was my sales associate and my experience in the store was great. The issue came in with the delivery process. The first issue was when I had a delivery date with a time frame from 7:30 - 10:30. The delivery guy called at 7:15 and I missed his call. I tried to call the same number back and it was disconnected. My items were automatically rescheduled with no notification to me of the reschedule. I called customer service to find out the new delivery date. Which was also canceled. I then received a call asking if they could do a partial delivery. I agreed to the partial delivery but was never given a timeframe. The day of the delivery I received the partial delivery. I told the delivery guy that the chair that I had ordered was not going to fit in the space I had available. He agreed with me but never mentioned to me that would be my only opportunity to return it, instead he asked me to sign and left. I called customer service 10 minutes after he left to return the chair. I received an email the same day saying that I was stuck with the chair and they will not return or exchange the item. At this point I have called to cancel the remaining items on my order with the exception of the chase that completes my sectional. I will NEVER do business with Ashley again. This experience has been horrible! The lack of communication and poor customer service is totally unacceptable.

This place is a scam, scheming store. I bought a power recliner December 4, 2021 and and the motor stopped working before Christmas. I bought the protection plan for both chairs that I purchased. I have since been told it was an ‘as is’ item. Why would you pay full price for an ‘as is’ item? They never told me it was an ‘as is’ item, nor is it on my paperwork anywhere. They just want to make a sale. We spent over 2000.00 for 2 chairs. One is a piece of junk. I would rate them a zero if it was possible.

While looking for an affordable couch after abruptly moving, I thought I found what I wanted at Ashley, and I did, but the process getting it was absolutely unacceptable. When I first entered the store I wondered around looking for someone to help me. Finally (who I assume is) the manager asked if I needed help and I said yes. He went and grabbed someone from the back who was on her cell phone and seemed annoyed she had to help me. She did, however, and we placed the order to be delivered in a few weeks. Perfect timing because I had a friend coming to visit my new apartment. Well, the movers show up and since it wouldn’t fit in the elevator, after watching one of them man handle it over his head for approximately 30 yards alone, they couldn’t possibly carry it up 2 flights of stairs with two people. They loaded it back on to the truck assuring I’d hear from Ashley about next steps. Days went by of me calling customer service representatives trying to figure out what was going on who were rude and less than helpful. I finally read the online policy that stated if it was over 3 flights of stairs they couldn’t deliver it. Let me remind you, mine was 2. I called the store directly and was told that the lady that sold it to me would call me back because I was indeed correct about said policy and they should have delivered it. Instead of calling me, she instantly put in a new delivery request to have it delivered A WEEK LATER to avoid an upset customer and what probably would have been an unpleasant conversation. After my guests had arrived and left, the day before thanksgiving when I was supposed to leave town but I wasn’t going to chance it being delayed ANOTHER week, the couch was set to be delivered. No call, no explanation, just this is what it is. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the customer service I received at this specific location. The second movers took it up the stairs no problem and I have no complaints about the couch which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. Take your business elsewhere. They may have good prices but not worth the horrible customer service.

I purchased a couch set back in August. I have already had to wait an additional month to receive my order on top of that my phone number was transposed in your system. Therefore when I received my first order I did not get a notification thankfully I was already home. I noticed this mistake and have called Ashley furniture not once but twice to get this corrected. Today I was supposed to get my couch set delivered once again I did not receive notification because your company keeps texting the wrong number. Which is not my fault in my paperwork the number listed is correct. I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed in your company and the lack of willingness to solve customers request due to I have contact your company to have something corrected that was not my mistake. I just called again and the order was attempted to be delivered not even during the timeframe I was advised. I was contacted yesterday by a phone call once I did not respond back to a text(due to once again incorrect phone number). She told me my order will be delivered between 3pm-6pm. They attempted to deliver it out of that timeframe therefore I was not home. I honestly have no trust now in what you guys say you will do and will never purchase another item from Ashley furniture. This was my first purchase and will be my last.

The worst experience buying a sofa!! I bought a sofa on May 15, 21. It took 2 months to be delivered. The same day I reported that the sofa was damaged. So, I opened a request and they told me they were going to deliver a new sofa in a few months again due to the pandemic and I patiently waited more 2 months to receive a new sofa without damage. To my surprise, on the second attempt at delivering a sofa that should have been new, the delivery man himself opened the box before taking the sofa to my apartment and saw that this supposed new sofa was even worse than the one I had in my apartment. On the same day I opened another request and I was told that a third attempt would be made to deliver a new one. The same employee who came to deliver the third sofa opened the box and saw that the third one was also damagedd. In this third attempt to get a decent sofa with no damage, I refused the delivery again and said I would ask for a refund of the amount that I paid. So, I made a request and the person told me that the full amount would be refunded to my account after picking up the couch at my house. But I just checked my bank statement and saw that the amount was not fully refunded!!! It's missing almost $100 dollars!!!! I am extremely angry about this whole situation and disappointed with the customer service. I waited 4 months, paid cash in full for a new sofa and tried to receive it for three times. It was horrible and I still have not been refunded the full amount. It was not my fault that the purchase was not concluded. I just wanted a new sofa with NO DAMAGE!!!! Thanks to all this misfortune and all this time with no solution to my problem, I'm having to sit on the floor, as I'm without a sofa and without the full refund of the amount spent on this purchase. It's unbelievable that they could even keep 100 dollars of mine after all this time and upsetting situation that I have been going through because of ashley homestore. On top of that, yesterday they delivered a box in my home with parts of the sofa and said that it was a mistake and I have to dispose them. The customer service never can help, they always say they are sorry, but there is nothing they can make. It is the worst customer care and experience that I have ever seen. I will never recommend that store for furniture, and I will never buy in this place again.

We were looking for just a bedframe. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Alex. She was extremely helpful, respectful, personable and knew exactly what we wanted when we described it to her. She brought us right over to it and had to be pulled away to assist another customer that was already there, which is perfectly understandable. However, then the GM of the store came over and was not at all Alex. He didn’t know that I too am a salesperson and gave off such a bad vibe. First he says “hi I’m the GM and welcome to my store” which is a touch of arrogance to me. Then he proceeded to be very vague about the warranty cost, shipping, and bundling discounts. Saying “I don’t know what it would be until we work up a quote” and “if you finance for something like $4000 I have a better chance of getting you a finance loan, then for just $1000.” He was extremely overly pushy when exclaiming to us to buy the night stands and dressers with the bedframe saying “most people regret it.” We don’t have enough space and I told him that. He eventually left and tank god Alex came back. We did some more chit chatting and then she worked us up a quote and broke out the warranty the shipping and the bedframe along with all the details I wanted to know. Just as we were about to sign for it, here comes the GM. Saying that we would again regret not getting other items. Like for real?! The bedframe with the warranty, shipping, and tax was over $1200. I then had to actually explain myself as to why I wouldn’t fit. All in all, the experience would’ve been perfect if not for the ridiculous ego of a pushy salesman that became a GM. As a sales leader, he should know better and let his sales team take care of it. I highly recommend Alex for everything and all your purchases!!!
The lack of communication between these people is Atrocious, the first time it’s understandable but the second time just makes no sense, spent 3 grand on furniture to be treated as an after thought. I work in a customer service field and can tell you this place missed it by a long shot. Still haven’t received my delivery that was supposed to be delivered the 12th. I understand that things happen but im more upset that they didn’t even attempt to call me or tell me my order has been rescheduled, not only that we have to wait 7-10 business days to cancel something we never received. I would fully recommend taking your business elsewhere because this doesn’t make any sense to me.

Manager in store doesn’t care and showed no interest in being concerned on why I haven’t received the furniture I payed for.. Sometimes first impressions fool you. After my first visit I’m Luke Stephanie would have given it to a 2star review. I had a couple of simple questions that I could not get a straight answer. We are close by so I thought I would walk in one more time. People were friendly, service was amazing, we were able to pick out what I needed for my living room after about half an hour of “struggling” to figure out exactly what I needed. Couldn’t be happier. I purchased in full a sofa from this establishment in April 2021 along with two pictures. Once my sofa arrived, I noticed that one of the delivery guys dropped my sofa on the concrete from the truck. They began to argue a bit saying " you see how easy that is, remember this is brick right here". I responded" yes, because my mother will be extremely disappointed if there is damage to this couch (as she gifted me the money for it). I scanned the couch to check the area where I noticed it fell and didn't see anything. I signed the release documents and the delivery guys left. Five minutes later, I noticed a long vertical scratch in the front right leg of the couch. Unfortunately I didn't notice the front details if the couch (sigh). I immediately called to speak to the delivery guys and was informed that there is nothing that they can do since I signed a paper staying that the couch was fine. I am so appalled that I spents over $1000 for a couch and two pictures that I waited 3 months to recieve and now Im forced to look at a scratch that I didn't create on my furniture. I will tell everyone to not waste their time nor money at Ashley's homestore as customers are NOT their first priority!

Ashley Homestore deliver my furniture but a middle piece was missing from my couches. I was the last delivery. They never reached out to me. I had to keep calling them anout my missing piece.
Moved from New Jersey & I found my favorite place to get my furniture. I got my bed room set with mattresses, TV stand, & work desk from them. I'm going back to get my couch set for my living room. I want to thank everyone for treating me like family but I want to give a big shout out to Fany Pego for helping me pick out the right bed room set & responding to my e-mails about my order, when it's coming, & the total process.

Got a large amount of furniture here for our new house and they have unbeatable prices and hooked us up! They were super patient both times we went in with our 2 young kids. They were running around like crazy and I was so embarrassed. Great service. Roderick was our salesman and he was a pleasure to work with. He ended up ordering us the wrong bed for my son so I was a little disappointed regarding that, and our dining table didn't come when it was supposed to, several weeks late. But that was nothing to do with them so we are happy satisfied customers! I loved how fast we got all of our other furniture and was able to take a lot home with us that day in the Uhaul. I just ordered the bed set is now selling over price at online. It was the same store, same website and same style of items, but price in store wave big different. Online guarantee price match, when I requested to fix the price, both seller and store manger said they can't, cause they was a separate owner. They forced client in the way they are selling, $200 dollars just are stealing! They also said I had to pay 10% re in-stock with items that I want to return. The funny thing is I did not sign for a contract a term of conditions for purchase. My order can't even track online. SCAMM!!!!!!

The delivery people did not put my bed together correctly. They told me that one of the slats was extra for if one broke. The other people fixed it...so I pray. They persuaded me to use the 90 day same as cash, but what they didn’t say was that they don’t take out 3 equal payments.

If you're looking for nice furniture that is a bit cheaper than other retailers then this is the place to go. I got a couch here to put in my apartment and it was well worth the money. PETER was very helpful and has continued to be helpful as I continue to ask him different questions. The shipping was supposed to be a couple months and I ended up with my couch in just over three weeks. While delivery time is out of their hands, I believe they did an excellent job.

If I could score them a negative 100 I would! The store manager will make you seem everything is great and then it'll take months to receive your product! There is better furniture other places....Facebook market place or Value City. Value City was much better than this place! I can't believe I wasted money here. The product is FLEMSY!! Please shop somewhere else. You can even tell the workers are under paid and THEY know people are being tricked into buying their merchandise.
Do. Not. Shop. Here. Please read BBB reviews before you buy from here. They harass you into buying things you do not need and then it takes 2 months to receive the product. You will get NO UPDATES while you wait and you will be lucky to get the product without damages. If you do buy from them HAGGLE THE PRICE LIKE HELL! DO NOT pay the sticker price because the product is NOT WORTH IT! It's particle board made in a warehouse without care. The workers there are nice and I'm sure they are UNDER PAID! Do not buy from the new store manager as he will try to get over on you! There are better places and I regret buying bedroom suit from them!

I am in absolute disbelief about my experience just now at this Ashley Home Store. I walked in to do some preliminary research on bed frames for an upcoming move and bed upgrade. The general manager, Bradley, approached me and asked if there was anything he could help with. This not being a “buy” trip, I said “don’t worry about it.” I can’t imagine what Bradley’s upbringing was, but immediately he launched into a diatribe about how that’s no way to treat people, how rude I was, and to “kindly get the hell out of my store.” Who’s the rude one here? The shame is they had some attractive pieces, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Looking for a great last minute deal to surprise my parents. Forrest T. was very friendly and helpful and we found exactly what we were looking for. The store was neat, clean and had many beautiful furniture pieces to choose from.
As soon as I stepped in the place I was greeted by Mo..excellent customer service off gate! I was looking for a table...GOT IT!! Credit approved , got exactly what I wanted and the whole process only took about 30 mins maybe less..if you come here ask for him he's great..Thanks Mo!!
My husband and I spent over 20 minutes looking around the showroom and the employees who we’re not even busy who also even made eye contact with us didn’t even greet or approach us to asked if we needed help.

Staff was OK, but giving them the benefit of the doubt was supposed to have a 3 week delay for some furniture that was back ordered. 3 months later they can't figure it out and waiting on my refund. Better off going somewhere else. *Update* Got the dresser delivered finally, and it was damaged. Had some chips and one of the drawers were broke. I went ahead and added the photos. Ashley furniture is trash and dealing with their corporate is mind numbing, while trying to get a refund. Update If there is an issue best bet is to go through the store. Their corporate offices are completely useless. The store was able to get me a perfect condition floor model and got some money back.
This store is a rip off. They say that stuff is free and it isn’t. They always saying they are giving a discount but god knows all things. I wouldn’t buy nothing else from Ashely furniture. They are scammers and liers. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do business with this store on south Blvd. Do not do business with Mo.
Its been such a horrrible experience shopping at this store. I ordered a bed and matrass way back in August. I was told I would get the first delivery on September, which they later called and said they could not make it to my stop because it will be late by the time they get to my house. They have been unable to give me a delivery date since then. When I call customer service, they keep giving me a delivery date estimate and I am still waiting on my delivery. I wish I could give a 0.
I am highly aware of the barriers that businesses have to overcome with COVID-19 but I purchased a desk and shelving unit, money up front, mid August and was told my delivery would be here within the first week of October- a date I was completely understanding of. The day before delivery, I received a call that they would actually be delivered on the last day of October. Not great news but better late than never. Except on the day of delivery, despite the tracking info stating both items were on their way, only the shelving unit was delivered. According to the delivery men "the desk didn't make it on the truck". I called the help desk immediately and was told they didn't know where my desk was. After being tossed around from representative to representative, I was informed that the desk would be delivered on November 11th. Well today is the day and NO confirmation email or tracking information. Of course, I call in again and its the same answer "we don't know". Well I do know that I'm never giving them my business again. Why offer something you cannot sell? I've been working from home in the main living space on the couch since August because this desk never arrived! I've been an inconvenience to my household for months because this company was COMPLETELY an inconvenience to me. The only decent part of my experience was the incredibly patient salesperson at the outlet, Peter, who sold me the desk and its not possible for him to have known this all would've unfolded so I can't hold this against him. But if you want to get what you paid for when you are told you will get it- simply because thats how a BUSINESS works- ho somewhere else. I know I am.

Although tags state "Take Home Today", this equates to 6-10 week turnaround time. Pathetic! Also 3 different prices - retail, online and Homestore (Outlet). With this philosophy, cannot imagine the doors remaining open much longer Super frustrating experience...
I've never left a review for anything before, but after this experience I felt compelled. I purchased a piece in July with the promise that it would be delivered in August. August rolls around and two days before the piece is to be delivered they push it to October 2nd, fine. October 2nd comes and goes with no communication or reminder or time window. On October 3rd, when I am out of town, I get a text that my piece will be delivered in 15 minutes. Obviously I couldn't make it and call customer service the following week. I was told that they could deliver it in a month so I kindly asked for a refund, the lady on the phone was very pleasant and put in my request telling me someone from the store would call in the next 24-48 hours. Well, it has been a week and still no call. Avoid this store at all costs, horrible with communication and they do not care about customer service at ALL. Try a different chain or Ashley.
UPDATE: as of today October 10, if I could give 0 stars, I would. So after everything we went through, nobody called us back from the refund department. After multiple calls to both store and corporate office, the delivery of a replacement was finally scheduled and delivered in September. You would think that would be the end of this horrible experience- wrong. The saga continues. The high quality product (as advertised) was defected and couldn’t be assembled. At that point I told the delivery guys (super nice and professional) to just replace the defected piece with the one from my accent cabinet that they were replacing. To my surprise (not), the old cabinet (which was being replaced) could not be disassembled because it was all glued in!!!! So then, when we called to reschedule yet another delivery for a replacement, I have been told that it was schedule for October 10. Today, October 10, no delivery or signs of an accent cabinet. When I called to complain, I have been told the new delivery date is end of October!!!! now, 4 months after the order was originally placed, I am still without an accent cabinet and being bounced between the store and the corporate office. TERRIBLE!!!! at this point, we have asked for a full refund (again) and have been told that one cannot be granted - just store credit. Who in their right mind would want to deal with them again!!!! Now I am waiting for a manager from the corporate office to call, because the store manager (Kelly)told me she cannot do anything for me, while being extremely rude and I had to ask her multiple times to stop interrupting me and listen to my experience. At this point, I don’t even know who can help to just get me my money back, so that I can go elsewhere and finally get an accent cabinet for my house! ——————————————————————————- Terrible terrible terrible experience all around - product quality and customer service. Product was delivered defective (literally falling apart) and even though the pictures were sent right away upon unwrapping, customer service failed miserably in handling a replacement or a refund. First, they tried processing a refund with no luck. Then, somebody said that I was processed incorrectly and they can get us a replacement, which we agreed to (not sure why at this point. Then they gave their best effort to replacement, with a lot of issues and errors, and after more than two months of waiting and countless delivery date moves, we are still waiting for somebody competent to do it right. At this point, we have asked for a full refund and now need to wait for a refund department to get back to us. With how things have been going thus far, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
I ordered furniture from Ashley Furniture Outlet Charlotte NC in August. When I received my dining room furniture I received 2 wrong chairs. Sent them back and received them again the following week. Now I have been waiting for my sectional for which I was advised would arrive Oct 8th, now they are saying it won’t be here until Oct 15th. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. I spoke with a manager who could not assist with this matter. I am so frustrated at this point.

So I went to Ashley HomeStore in 5345 South Blvd it was at 7:00pm today. I was going to purchase some couch’s and other furniture and so a employee approach us he was called peter and very nice and Very professional .So we were ready to purchase them with Cash and Peter was asking for help to the general manager a couple of times .the general manager did not want to help him was Had a VERY bad attitude and so UNPROFESSIONAL in front of us The customers. He yelled at Peter so loudly that we left I think they should replace the general manager he’s too UNPROFESSIONAL .I really don’t think that should happen in a place so knowed like Ashley HomeStore.

Not pushy you can tell them what you are looking for and they will show you what they have. They will give you quotes but not be overbearing to get you to buy if you are unsure.
I Would Advise That NOONE Ever Purchase from this store EVER! I made a purchase back in May 2020. A total month delay. They overcharged my account, I received my merchandise broken and when I went to the store resolve the issues I had had with them they brushed me off and said that I had to call their 3rd party reps (SYNCHRONY) that has the worst CS ever. I will never! Lesson Learned.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I order my sofa from them on 6/12/2020. Not once was I told that they have to make the furniture once the order was placed until today when I got a call telling me my sofa won't be delivered until the 26th of August. So you have called me twice and told me my sofa won't be here when I desperately need it and you are giving me nothing for the inconvenience that you are causing me. I will NEVER shop Ashley furniture again.
Clean and friendly staff. Prices were better than we expected.
So I purchased a bed and among several other things here. When I got the bed, the headboard was installed incorrectly, (I paid for delivery and installation). I have reached out to Ashley Furniture several times at this point, (more than 5) and filed a BBB complaint. They came out and tried to repair the bed, but the bed is now unstable because the headboard was installed incorrectly. Today they finally came to replace the bed; however, they sent me a bed with a stain on it. I just cant believe how many times this company can screw up. I refused delivery. All I want is my money back and they are refusing that. Saying we are past the return period. When I first reported the issue, it was within a few days of delivery. Mind you I also have the protection plan they sell for this bed. And seems all those extras and just another way for them to get money from you. Should have just installed the bed myself. At least I know I am more skilled as a handy man (being an IT nerd) than the professionals at Ashley Furniture.
If I could rate a 0/5 I would. As someone suggested the actual store experience is a 4/5 but everything else is downhill from there. Wanted a dining room set and would have preferred to have taken it same day from the store however, that wasnt an option. Delivery was supposed to be on the 17th of June and when I called to inquire about the dining room table it was supposed to be delayed and was supposed to arrive on the 26th of June. No problem there. Received a message and delivery was supposed to come on the 24th of June and I was not going to be available. Quickly called customer service and received a deadpan reply "a message was left at your number stating delivery was the 24th and there is no other record of a phone call placed. If you want your delivery rescheduled you have to pay $99 dollars fee". After going back and forth and even going back to the store, the same conclusion. I would suggest not to have anything delivered if you can as customer service is NOT willing to accommodate any changes to delivery (especially when they were the ones that delayed the original delivery date). If you are not picking up your item from the store, don't waste your time.
Awful experience! The delivery team left with my furniture because of "inclement weather" even though they could have brought the furniture through the garage. The next delivery, I was told the couch wasn't available anymore even though it was supposedly in the truck a few weeks before. Now the couch delivery was cancelled again a couple weeks after the 2nd delivery because the item still isn't available and they weren't able to tell me when it would be. I have called them once or twice a week because I have never been called back when I'm told I will be. Even the sales rep doesn't get back to me about anything. Overall, customer service hasn't been helpful because they imply it is my problem and not theirs.

Store Layout: Messy but you find what you need, much smaller than the Rooms To Go Outlet so there isn't much to choose from. Also they order pieces from their warehouse so the furniture is not always readily available. The prices are decent! You should probably check around though if you have time.

I didn’t purchase anything that day but I trust his opinion. Great selection and competitive prices for sure. Stop through, I’m sure you can find something to fit your style.
This company is bs. I will let all my family/friends on social media know NOT to ever purchase from this company. I have been trying to call and get someone to answer phone & chat for over two weeks now. I keep getting pending charges and no shipment info. I understand shipments taken longer due to this pandemic. But someone should email or answer the phones. My bed came wrong pieces & wood/slats broke and bed came apart it’s only been 4 months. All the reviews show the same thing. Smh. Never again.
I purchased a dinette set and entertainment center from them. The furniture is nice but what I have a problem with is their delivery system. I paid 99.00 to have it have delivered. But Ashley took no responsibility for their workers who assembled the furniture. They tell you to look at it carefully because once they leave if you find a problem it's on you. Well, in less than a month one of the screws holding front of one piece came out . No back screw holding it. They chipped my furniture in the back. They improperly screwed one chair together . But I have no recourse. I will not purchase anything else from them. My fault. Please take the time, avoid distractions, which I had, and look at your furniture carefully. The furniture is nice but assembly made it inferior. 99.00 should mean something.
If you will go there, ask for Chantal. She was so friendly, flexible and always ready to help. We spend more than two hours picking our bedroom set, we got a very good price. Even when we decided to cancel our order, because we changed our mind, Chantal was very nice to us and helped us through the process. Even my son told me that she was so nice to him. We will go back for the other furniture and will ask for Chantal what I recommend you too.
If I’m rating the actual location they’d get 4. Everyone there is really nice. If I’m rating the online store they get 1. Not only was my furniture delivered on the wrong day but they shorted me chairs for my dining room table. I paid for six and got four. So I really suggest going in to the actual store to get your stuff.

Just got my new couch delivered and it was damaged in the delivery process. The manager insist it was an as is sell, but the product is not in the same condition as when we purchased the item. We asked to AT Least be compensated the $100 delivery fee and have basically been told there is nothing they can do to mend THEIR MISTAKE. I'm happy we have before and after pictures and will be contacting the corporate first thing in the morning!

Bought dining room chair and bed frame. Delivery push back due to items out of stock 5 times. They call 2 days before delivery to tell you that your items are not coming for another 2 weeks. 5 times my delivery have changed. 5 time I had to request time off only for it to be rescheduled at the last minute. Still not furniture

Great store, too bad the hands you are placed in after fail. Although manufacturing back orders are many times out of several hands, the idea that if a customer needs to rearrange delivery and does so in less than 48 hrs, incurring a fee. Yet Ashley can call towards the end of the business day, LESS than 48 hrs before delivery to push you back two weeks is completely unacceptable. If you are working through a bedroom set and this close to delivery, you are going to remove the items you are replacing out of the room. Two weeks with a mattress on the floor. What a blast. - Not doing any further business

Made 2 purchases on 2 consecutive days solely based on the customer service received from Mo. He is professional, courteous and listens to what you’re looking for. He will check in with you periodically, but give you room to browse the store, not breathing down your neck to make a sale. He went above and beyond to make these two purchases the easiest I’ve ever made. Thanks Mo! We will be coming back! 👍🏻 12/22- Update on my purchase - it took over a month to receive all of my items. It took 2 deliveries and me finally getting sick of the process and going to pick up the rest (even though I paid delivery fees). Almost everything I purchased came either damaged, poorly made (my sectional sofa pieces don’t even fit together properly), or second-hand (you can tell it had been in someone else’s home before) I am absolutely disgusted with this purchase and will never return to an Ashley Furniture location again.
We purchased a mattress from Drew at this location. He was able to step in and assist us when others were not. We went to pick up our mattress and Nydia what's extremely pleasant and helpful. Excellent purchasing experience. I highly recommend the store and to ask for Drew!! 👍👍

Our experience shopping for the furniture was great! Mo was very helpful and nice. Five stars for DJ and his delivery partner (didn’t catch his name) they were awesome and professional during delivery and everything looks great. However...we are a little uneasy about the behind the scenes team. Ordered our furniture over month ago and had to have two different deliveries which we planned multiple things around. On our last delivery one of our items was missing and we could not get a straight answer from customer service about when it will be delivered and what even happened. To compensate they offered “as a courtesy” a gift card to one of their stores. Not a good experience.

Mo is a gregarious person, but lacks ethics. In his haste to make a sale he forgoes explaining crucial details about what will show up on credit statements vs the approved limits It came as a shock when I saw two accounts maxed out when I was approved for a bigger line of credit. This ultimately hurt my score. Now I'm back in the excellent credit score category, but no thanks to Mo who I waited to text after paying everything off in less than 8 months. Disappointed and hope to be a beacon of light to anyone else looking to make a purchase from this store.

God awful service. The in store purchase was fine. But afterwards was a complete nightmare. I had to take off 6 days of work waiting for my order. The reason I had to take off 6 different days was because they kept messing up orders and kept delivering damaged furniture! On top of that the pot heads that delivered the furniture left my sectional smelling like weed! In addition to that, they did not assemble everything which is what I paid for! I will NEVER buy anything from this company ever again. If I could give zero stars, I would! HORRIBLE!!!

I went into the store looking for furniture for my apartment, was greeted by Mo. I have to give Mo credit for being able to talk to people but not for telling the truth. I bought a sofa and chair from the AS IS department, I sat down in the recliner and it reclined and it was what I wanted. They delivered it a week later, my recliner didn't have a latch on the side to recline it. Tell me how that happens? I called Corporate and they said there was nothing they could do. So this was my first experience with Ashley and my last. Honesty is very important to me
Worst service I have ever had from a business. This was my first purchase from Ashley and will be my last. I purchased a dining table and recliner. The table delivery was 2 days late after I had waited all day the day before for the delivery from noon until 9:30 pm when they finally called me to tell me the truck couldn't make it. When they finally did deliver 2 days later and an hour past the delivery time, when they arrived they told me they do not assemble the chairs that was supposed to be done at the warehouse., How in the world would I accept furniture not assembled? I told them they had to assemble and so they did and put them together wrong. The delivery of the recliner was rescheduled twice and when it was finally delivered it was almost 2 hours past the delivery time. They delivery people left all kinds of garbage and nails in our driveway and road. On top of my frustrations with the hassle of delivery when I did call to find out the status the customer care people acted like they could care less. I'll continue to purchase from the competitor rooms to go who I have always had excellent service and delivery from.
Good place and low prices
We literally were furnishing our entire house with Ashley, over $6,000 worth of furniture. Sandy was very helpful in the beginning and then on my last two orders she told me that my stuff would be delivered in the next 2 weeks. Well after not receiving any calls about my expected delivery and reaching delivery date I went ahead and called the store just to find out that my furniture is now not being delivered until MID AUGUST! If I would have known this from the start I would have ordered something different or gone somewhere else. Also, we have had SO MANY problems with our actual deliveries. My sectional has a screw hanging out of it that the assemblers said “wasn’t anything to be concerned about”, they dropped off my huge accent cabinet that I paid for assembly and placement. They did end up sending someone out a week later to assemble it just to find out my cabinet had been damaged during transport or loading, not sure which one, and now I have to wait even longer for them to replace the part. I’m VERY disappointed and will be canceling the other orders I have recently placed and haven’t been delivered yet.

Good home goods for starter apartment
I had the pleasure of working with Dan Bruening for the purchase of a 2 piece sofa. He was the perfect example of what "white glove" customer service is. He not only assisted me with my purchase, but he explained each step of the process clearly so that I understood EVERYTHING, He was very knowledgeable about the products. I described the living room set and he was able to take my description and find the exact sofa I was referring to. He also listened to my sense of urgency and availability and was able to get my sofa delivered on a Wednesday which was my day off. I am truly happy that I had Dan as my sales person for this transaction. He made me feel really valued and I will always purchase from this branch because of the service I received from Dan. Thank you Dan it is people like you that makes a business what it is.

Waited a few weeks, they sent wrong merchandise, told I would have floor model sent to me today, manager, Drew Matlick (if that's really his name) says he won't send me it because it leaves a "hole in his showroom". Refuses to get me paid for merchandise. Shame...stay away from this awful retailer, they will screw you over and eake your money

I had a bad experience with my furniture. Each time they delivered it broken. 5 times. Took 2 months to fix the problem. Then to compensate me I was only offered the return of my delivery fee in a Ashley gift card.
The sales associate was very confused and inexperienced, 3 hours later, the order was still incorrect on the receipt. Kept changing the availability of the order, had to split the order in 2 and both were delayed. Purchased furniture in April, still waiting on delivery that was pushed back to June 7th.

Just left Ashley as a first time customer looking for a mattress for my new apartment and got blessed! Mo was super helpful and literally all the staff were happy to help answer any questions. So many crazy deals and sales I’ll for sure be back.

Best Service Ever!!! I stopped by here on Saturday just to browse the available items. I did need a few things for my home but I did not intend to actually purchase something. However, when I entered the store I was greeted by a gentleman named Mo. He had such great energy and was beyond helpful. I told him I was just looking but I might need a bed. He explained all the specials currently being offered and showed me my best options. He gave me time to actually look at everything in the entire store, without standing with me the entire time. I like to shop alone and I think he definitely caught that vibe from me. When I needed him, he was right there and he had the best smile. I ended up purchasing a bed, and 3 other items. Not only was the service phenomenal but even the GM, Philip stopped and asked me how I was doing and asked me if I needed anything. No pressure to buy and no special sales tactics. These guys treated me more like family. It made me want to buy more because I felt so comfortable. I will definitely be back and I just want to say THANK YOU to these guys for being so awesome. It's rare to find people who go above and beyond in the sales world. Great job!!!

Called them to see what time, and was told it wont be here for another 10 days because it needed to be ordered, and that today was an estimated day. Very inconvienant considering I was told a specific date, and that I had to call to find that out. Also I took time off from work to arrange the delivery. Very poor communication.
The 13th I went back to cancel my order and the lady that helped me stated that she couldn't refund my money back until 7-10 business days. Til this day I still have not received my refund. This is ridiculous. I have never heard of any kind of service like this. This is not right. I will never shop here again. Especially since Ashley is charging for individual pieces for the furniture, but the store is supposed to be a discount store. Don't make sense.

Cant do anything right. Delivery is all over the place. They called twice to change my delivery window after the delivery window had already begun. How worthless is that? You change your whole day to be available for delivery and twice they cannot make it in the window and they cant even tell you that til after your delivery window has started and you are already home. My initial window was 11-2. I received the first call that my window changed at 12. I had already been waiting for an hr to be told its not coming until 12 - 3. The furniture did not arrive until 420. This is ridiculous. I had to take a day off work and lose money to be home to receive the delivery. With the initial window i worked with my company to still work around those hours. Becomes impossible when they change the window on you while ypur initial window has already started. I called to complain and was told thats my window and did not even receive an apology. I will never buy furniture from here again and recommend everyone to go elsewhere.
We were greeted right when we walked in. Given a brief understanding of the outlet vs regular store and then best part is we were able to walk around on our own. I hate when they follow you around. Once we had questions there was someone close by which was great. We worked with Mo Sutton. He ver educated on products, material used and longevity of product which was very important to us since we are furnishing a home. Due to the presidents day sale we did make a purchase. We will be back for some other rooms in house.
Will never give them my business again. Be warned- ANY ITEM BOUGHT PHYSICALLY FROM THAT STORE IS NON-RETURNABLE. they will not make this clear to you. We purchased two clearance chairs and a rug not on clearance. Rug did not go with our decor so we went to return it THE NEXT DAY to be told nothing bought in store is returnable and we have signed to we understood this. The terms and conditions were not explained to us, we thought we were signing to say we knew chairs were not returnable. Some rugs were labeled with bright yellow tags to say non-returnable, many were not, including ours. I have a photo of this but cannot insert it into this post. So upset and disgusted. Feel cheated.
You will be accosted as soon as you walk in the door by hungry sales people. Luckily they will leave you alone after first contact if you just want to look around.
Nightmare of a company.. had store credits and won’t spend out of principle.
Plan on paying for furniture immidately but won't receive it for three months. They reschedule without a time or date. I have scheduled vacation twice at work due to this. Update: finally recireced furniture but was damaged so I refused. Had to cancel order after another delayed delivery date. Still struggling to get money back.
Worst customer service I have ever seen. The general manager is very rude. I can’t believe they can earn anyone’s business by running an operation in such a manner.
