We came in to Ashley just to get some ideas for some much needed furniture for our house. We were greeted by Randall. He was very professional and kind. Mostly important he gave us the space we needed to look around and was available to answer all our questions. Well… we walk out with a purchase of a new couch and I can’t wait for it. I told myself I wasn’t going to jump in and purchase anything today. But Randall explained the fabrics and the care and helped us arrange the furniture to help us visualize it in our living room I was sold. I definitely will be coming back and getting my bedroom set now!

I was looking for a powered recliner for my husband post heart transplant surgery and our salesman Marlin took us right to the recliner that he recommended. It also has a zero gravity feature to elevate your feet above your heart . Marlin was so patient and showed us other options and the pros and cons of each but we ultimately bought his 1st recommended chair. I could not have been happier and will go back and work with Marlin when we are ready to buy the matching pieces. I highly recommend that you seek out Marlin if you go!

I came in close to closing on a Saturday night but received the best customer service despite this. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but Marlin was sooo helpful in helping me find the perfect sectional (marleton 2 piece denim). He made sure I understood the comfort and firmness as well as the color and orientation. He walked me through the shipping and protection options and made sure I got the best deal. Thank you Marlin!

We had an amazing experience at the store. The store itself is clean, well-organized, well-lit, and easy to navigate. The best part was the staff - helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and engaged. I highly recommend this store. It is important to go in and try the furniture in person to get a feel for all alternatives instead of blindly buying stuff online. We ended the visit with buying the reclining chair that I always wanted.

Yesterday we were in shopping for a sectional. We were greeted by the manager, who was great. Spoke with us, worked out different ideas to help us stay in budget, and explained things pretty well. Once we made a decision and wanted to view pricing, we were handed off to another associate who had us fill out a prequalifying financing app. Not a single person said it was a credit card or gave us terms/conditions etc. He tried to push us to just blindly submit the hard check once we were pre-approved. When we pushed back and tried to speak with him about our questions, he said he would be back soon as he "needed to keep other people in the store." Instead of helping the two people who were about to make a purchase. We finally got our total cost to own estimate and it was more than $1,000 higher than we were expecting it to be even with current discounts. It was out of our budget, he was more focused on everyone else and left abruptly after giving us the total cost paper. This was extremely unprofessional and we will not be back.

We went to this store looking for sofas and had a GREAT experience with Marlin. Eric was nice as well. Everyone was nice, this store had good vibes, provided an excellent experience. Marlin was super knowledgeable and spent about an hour with us, measuring, pricing, talking about options, right away knew what would and wouldn't be practical for our 5 dog home. It really could not have been better in any way. Marlin is a fantastic salesman and a sweet person. My boyfriend wanted to also see what the outlet store in Four Oaks had for loveseat options because the set we like doesn't have a stationary option so we weren't 100% set on our loveseat choice just yet. Marlin totally respected that, even though he did try to sell to us today, as I totally expected. That's cool. I sold furniture years ago and knew that should happen. Anyway, loved the whole experience there big time. Then we went to the Outlet store and it was soooo bad. I will be leaving them a review about it. See that review if you are curious.

David said he was new, but he handled all of my questions with knowledge and a genuine interest in knowing what I was looking for and what features would be helpful. I never felt a hard sell or any pressure one way or another, but he was quick to offer insights as to why some people like some features more than others. When I said I wanted to take home a recliner, he quickly said that while many take a few days to ship, some were in the store and ready, so that made it easy to narrow down to one of those. Then he and a colleague put the recliner in the truck for me. I got what I wanted, and with discounts he made me aware of the, the price was really good. I went a few weeks ago looking for a manual recliner. I was blown away by how little knowledge the salesperson had and how unhelpful they were. None of the options in store really fit what exactly I was looking for and I asked about recliners online and she was basically like 'I don't know.' I will not be returning to this location.

We bought a mattress and nightstand from Monserrat today! She did a wonderful making sure we got a mattress that we liked and also could be delivered on time!

Marlin did a great job of listening to what I was looking for. He showed me numerous pieces in my requirement specifications. We measured the Seat Depth and Leather Quality of each style. We found one that met all my requirements, and while the Color Option I wanted wasn’t physically at the Durham Store, Marlin was able to locate the Color I wanted, and we placed the Order to have it delivered. He was never pushy, and I did not feel pressured in any way. I personally like that approach. I will leave in a Heartbeat if I feel uncomfortable. He did notice I was wearing a knee brace (recent knee procedure), and showed me a bed with all the Bells and Whistles. I passed, but I applaud the Observation and ability to guide me into a Motion Bed demonstration.

Ashley is one of my favorite stores when it comes to shopping for furniture. Their prices are reasonable and they have a good selection to choose from. Their staff is always helpful. There is a young lady; Adriana who helped me the last time I was there. She was patient, kind, and knowledgeable about the products in the store. She even pulled out the measuring tape to help me with “fit” when it came to room dimensions. I love her vitality and sense of humor. I left feeling welcomed and valued even though I didn’t make a purchase. That’s what makes you want to return: customer service.

The service was wonderful as I was there once before to window shop for mattresses. Jon/John was honest with me and did not try to convince not to try other stores to look for other deals or try out mattresses there before coming back to the store to purchase it here. He was also helpful in explaining the differences in the mattresses and the support they offer to help me find what I was looking for. I had already done my own research and he recognized that and was supportive of what I already know rather than combative or otherwise demeaning what I found online.

When we are ready to purchase more, we will be going through her again.

I bought a living room set from Ashley Furniture on Memorial Day weekend. It was on sale through Sunday. I picked it out on Saturday for 2100.00. And went back next day to pay for it. The price they charge me on Sunday was over 2600.00. I asked why were they charging over 500.00 more. They said they gave me the wrong price on Saturday. At that point I wanted to walk out. But The color I wanted was rare. I still think they should have honored the 2100.00 . Or give me a check for the 500 I paid over. That’s bad business.

He told me that I could apply for financing and I could get more bed, I took his advice and was pre-qualified for $2000. He told me he could work magic with the $2000 and he did, I was able to get a beautiful queen size bed with a special mattress the contour to your body and it does some other things. I purchased a recliner not too long ago. The motor went out on it. It’s not massaging but the motor is running. The repairman came to fix it but it’s still not massaging. The motor still running though. The representative said she wasn’t sending no one back out here to fix it because the parts have been replaced. I will not purchase anything else from them.

While I love the selection the quality of delivery is horrible. The quality of people they use to do their furniture delivery has been disappointing. The most recent order from Ashely, the guy scratched my floor. Then he didn’t want me to report it, just wanted us to handle it quietly. I did report it as well with the delivery company and nothing happened. Also I’m pretty sure that I am supposed to approve the items BEFORE entering my home, that they are in good shape (at least one crew let me many deliveries ago). The last 4 deliveries (2 purchases but one order had a damaged item and the other they only sent 1/2) I was not allowed to approve the items until AFTER they were in place. My experience with who they chose to do business with makes me not want to purchase anymore furniture from them.

I’ve bought 2 items recently from this store and I can completely say this was my most horrible furniture purchases. They did not have my bed room set ready on pick up and I had to pay my movers extra money to do something that should have been done by the store. My next purchase was a sectional and the chaise was delivered on the wrong side. I spent over $2400 on these items together and this is totally unfair

Monse was amazingly helpful. My daddy needed a new recliner bad. The old one, the remote was a POS, I replaced it 3 times in the last year. I called Ashley and spoke to Monse, she listened to my issues and was very helpful and knowledgeable of their product line and in store availability. Most furniture stores don't seem to have anything actually available. My daddy needed a new recliner TODAY. He will be 83 in three days and loves nothing more than reclining with a weasel in his lap and the Hallmark channel with the volume at about a million. The new chair Monse found me doesn't have a stupid remote, the controls are integrated. She understood that dad doesn't need Bluetooth he needs integrated cup holders. Once the guy showed me how to take the chair apart, Monse helped me loud it up on my truck. I would say if you need furniture, definitely go see Monse at Ashley. I will get y'all a picture of dad with the weasel in the new Barco Lounger tomorrow!

My day started out wonderful. Then went to rooms to go ,purchased living room furniture that was on sale. The guy told me because of the sale I have to pick it up myself or pay them 150. So I told him I will pick it up myself. This is what he wrote on paper that I have to pick it up by 9/17/ 9/18. So I said ok by the way make sure no one sit on it he told me not to worry that he will make sure they wrapped it so I said ok . On 9/15 spend out all this money on a uhaul for them to tell me I can't pick up my furniture because pick up day are Tuesday and Wednesday the guy never said it that way. So me and a friend went to Ashley and a wonderful salesman named John help me he really made my day. Thanks John I purchased a bed from u guys

My husband and I were shopping for a new couch and were unsure of what we wanted exactly. JP was super patient and responsive to all of our questions, ultimately leading us to find the perfect thing! He helped us find an amazing bed and gave us space to talk between ourselves and if you have ever shopped in a furniture store you know how aggressive some salespersons can be. Offered us multiple options and took no for an answer when we decided against his/ashley furnitures headboard options. Which is why we felt confident in spending well over 8 grand with him! I would definitely recommend this establishment and personally will only deal with him in the future! Thank You sir!

Update: Found out the very next day that a better deal was available online and the "deal" that I thought I was getting was actually the price online, and I even paid more for a few pieces than what was being offered online. Do your research thoroughly before going in the store. The "manager's special" isn't real and neither is the "20%" in-store discount. I've reduced my star rating down from 5-stars: I got played with the pricing. Quality product, didn't like the hustle.

We went in on the 4th of July to start looking for living room and bedroom furniture. We didn’t know if we would actually purchase anything but thought it might be a good time to take advantage of holiday sales. John helped us buy a bed. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of information about the different mattresses and what we should look for when we tested them. He was helpful without being pushy. He made the process easy and the whole experience a positive one for us. We still have more furniture to buy and will likely see John again in the near future.

However, the return policy did not make us return customers. We got our ottoman in our space and decided it didn’t go with the couch and it’s WAY too big. We called the store on the day after delivery and they don’t accept any returns. Now I’m stuck with an ottoman in my way that I hate. It took a space I loved and trashed it. It’s a very nice ottoman. Nothings wrong with it, but I don’t want it and now I’m stuck with it.

UPDATE 11/12/24: I changed my 5 star rating to a 2 due to the fact that my bed frame I received was not manufactured correctly, hence I could not secure the metal slats to the side rails as the slats were too short. They would not send anyone out to help try and fix the problem, so I had to rig it myself by adding another piece of wood to the side slats so I could screw the slat to the frame. I'll not buy from Ashley again! (Although I do like the recliner/love seat I bought.) ---------------------------------------------- Easy to call and place order and very helpful. I’ll do another review once they have made the delivery!

I purchased an expensive electrically controlled recliner, which was in stock and was delivered within a few days. I was shown a motor battery pack which went with it but the battery pack was not delivered with the chair. I called the store and they told me the battery packs could not be delivered and must be picked up from the store. I went to the store to pick it up and was then informed that the battery pack was a separate purchase which cost $219.99! I was not informed of any of this on my original visit to the store. Nice furniture but be careful to check carefully to see that you get what you think you're paying for.

Well, I was not happy how long it took and it wasn’t the poor girl fault-she was obviously was new and every few minutes she had to check with her supervisor. The supervisor seeing she was struggling with a big order should have mentor her and guide her. Instead, leaving her to struggle and I had to leave because I was so frustrated . My family had to take a flight and this process took 2 hours-buying furniture should not take 2 hours. If this buying process took longer my family would have missed the flight. I have 4 stars because she was new, is the fault of supervisor monitoring her.
