August was an excellent help in-store today. He gave us direction, but didn’t loom over us while we looked around. When we liked some parts of one loveseat, but not another, he found a perfect option that was even cheaper and better suited for our space. August has our highest recommendation.

First time shopping at Ashley. When we were ready for a sales associate Avery was readily available and provided thorough information regarding an item we were searching for and continued to search inventory to see if anything met our criteria. We purchased a sectional sofa for a very reasonable price.

August was great to deal with. He showed me option that were in the range of what I was looking for, and also gave me space to really take my time before selecting anything. The store also had a very inviting atmosphere.

While we just ordered our loveseat today, we were impressed by our salesperson. August was polite, professional, and helpful. No high-pressure sales pitch or hovering. He gave us plently of time to try out the different loveseats and answered our questions. He and his manager Bernie did a thorough job of discussing payment options and worked to ensure the best deal for us.

She was extremely kind, super knowledgeable about bedroom furniture combinations, and was so personable that she was willing to answer questions regarding how specific furniture pieces would match my preferences and personality. I moved from MD to NC and needed new furniture to freshen up my home. Visited Ashley Furniture and met with Larry on more than one occasion. He was always helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He printed out pics & financial options for me. And when I was finally ready to purchase my furniture I communicated that to Larry, he met me at the door! He’s the BEST!!!

We came to the store looking for a dresser and everyone was helpful including Sarah Camacho . She followed through on the sale and we purchased the dresser.

I ordered a bed from Ashley. It took about two weeks to come in. I paid for delivery which arrived today. They told me it would take 10 to 15 minute to assemble. They worked on putting it together over an hour. They even put my mattress on it for me which I did not purchase from Ashley. When I took my mattress off this evening to put my box springs on first I noticed that they had cracked the bed and only put two support pieces when it should have been three. I should’ve known there was a reason they went above and beyond and put my mattress on the bed. It was so I would not see the missing support piece and the cracked bed. I would not order from here unless you plan on putting it together yourself. I am beyond livid.

It’s nice to walk into a store and be greeted, but not pressured to hurry and make a purchase. Averie was very patient with helping me through the process of picking out our new couch. She let me know she was available for questions and let me browse. I ended up leaving and then coming back in to make the purchase with her after doing some final measurements. Honestly my experience was great! The gentleman who helped us was the regional manager and he knew his stuff. He was so patient with us and not pushy. He showed us many different options. Not sure we would have bought anything if he wasn’t there. Some of the other employees just looked disinterested and annoyed. A few were really nice and welcoming. The manger helped us find something in our price range and didn’t push us for anything outside of that which is always nice.

Avery was fantastic and very knowledgeable! Go see her and you won’t be disappointed!!!

The purchasing process was simple and easy. I knew exactly what I wanted to see, I tested out the sectional, I liked it and I said I wanted to purchase it. Larry got me started right away and I was in and out in about 30min. Delivery will happen within 7 days of purchase date which really excited me! I’ll update after it’s delivered.

We recently bought a living room furniture set from the Southland Mall, Durham, NC store. Our order included a lamp stand. It arrived damaged. It was replaced. But it arrived damaged. We asked for a refund as the supplier obviously has a QC problem. Ashley said “no refunds” is their policy. Another lamp was delivered and again it is damaged. This is appalling customer service and shocking refund policy. We still have no resolution. Please guys stay away from Ashley. I personally delivered back to the store a malfunctioning lamp after multiple “deliveries.” After 2 weeks since delivering back the lamp - no response. All I can emphasize is do NO business with them. Our sales person was Larry French. Nice guy. But probably lost in company policy - “ it’s Ashley Furniture - customers with consistently default offerings - means nothing.” My personal experience with their customer service approaches the intelligence of a single cell organism - and this is being very kind. You are therefore warned - wish I was.

My husband and I recently went to this store to find pillows. We had never had good pillows before and I frequently would wake up with headaches. As soon as we walked in, Larry greeted us very politely and asked if we had ever been “fitted for a pillow before.” We said no and he led us to the mattress section and let us try out a selection of amazing pillows, while giving us details on why each pillow was different and then helping us choose the best option based on our sleeping styles. I highly recommend this store and highly recommend Larry as being a great memory maker!

We went to actually buy two white nightstands for matching our superwhite bed frame. We then saw a discounted chair that can fit in the living room so we took it. Hadn’t bought sofas in almost two decades and my mind was blown when we discovered tilting headrests. Yeah! We bought that one and the matching loveseat with cup holders (a must). I was looking for a new set: recliners and couch. The staff were very welcoming the minute I walked through the door and explained where all the reclining furniture was. They were very helpful but not intrusive and answered all my questions. I placed an order and the process was very easy and the staff explained every aspect of it very well. We worked with August the sales manager, he was really fantastic. I haven't received my order yet so can't comment on that part but the in store experience was really good.

Listen if you haven't had an encounter of a lifetime then you haven't met Randall. He didn't bombard me as soon as I walked in the door. He introduced himself and allowed me to walk throughout the showroom without following my every move. Even though I was very limited with my information and conversation at the beginning of exactly what I was initially there for her was still persistent in his communication and delivery. The best professional salesman I've ever encountered cause these others out here just want a sale. Randall wanted to build rapport and assist me with my inquiries. He needs to train every salesman that gets hired I promise you the company will get nothing but 5 starsog they follow his instructions and process. I'm personally giving Randall 20 ⭐ because he deserves them all. We froze together in the showroom cause the air was on Antarctica however, I finally made my decisions and he printed out all of my quotes. Yes I had multiple cause I couldn't make up mind. He was very patient and observant not just that he's very knowledgeable about every piece of furniture in that showroom and if he don't know something trust and believe y'all about to learn and figure it out together. If you're looking for any furniture go to him he's the greatest. You'll get great customer service and great furniture.

When looking for items outside of your knowledge. It is always great to work with someone who allows the process to not be hard or uncomfortable. Thanks to Emery for taking his last work hour to still give full attention to the process of furniture hunting. Although, I have to continue to shop around... if you all are looking for furniture, go ahead and stop by. Emery, thank you for your patience and authenticity!

I hate to change my review, and I am very satisfied with my new chair, there’s just a few things that were a little upsetting throughout the whole process. The first thing was being told that the protection plan is $100 and that I get the money back at the end of the plan. The plan was actually $130, and I actually get the money back in the form of store credit, so I felt misled. Also I was told to go through a third party for delivery which they set up and made easy, and they told me it would cost between $150-175. Being only 15 minutes away from the store and the order only being one recliner, I assumed that the price should be on the lower side of that, but it was $175. Although I was not technically misled here, it still felt like an unethical sales tactic was used. The delivery person was very professional and respectful, but unfortunately his partner was out, so I had to help him unload the piece into my apartment. It felt like a very high price point for delivery considering that I had to help. I predict that Ashley will get on here and say that they are sorry about some of my experiences, but they don’t control the third party delivery. That would be very unprofessional of Ashley. They need to take responsibility for the full process of me getting my furniture.

Averie was a blessing to my bank account! She was honest quick and very kind the moment I walked in. She made my experience shopping for my room set amazing and I will for sure be back for more.

Worked with store manager August, who was great. We didn’t initially find what we were looking for as it had been discontinued, but based on our preferences, August found a similar style at a great price that we ended up liking more. Wonderful experience all around!

Randall did a great job helping us to find the perfect bedroom set. He showed us different options that matched our style and color preferences and would fit nicely in our space. We shopped at a number of other furniture stores, and Randall was the best salesperson we met. Next time we need furniture, we will be going back to Ashley’s and asking Randall for his help.

I then get a very stern and unconcerned service manager call me back and not only could he have cared less about my experience with my purchase he lied about the recorded conversation. Will never do business here again. Go to Rooms To Go. Much better customer service. I’m very disappointed in my purchase but much more disappointed in the customer service I received. I'd had my eye on a recliner for about 3 weeks. My original purpose for going in the store was to look for kitchen buffets! As the consultant, Larry was showing me around, we walked pass the most comfortable looking rocker recliner I'd ever seen. I immediately stopped and sat in the rocker recliner and was sold! I visited the store and my chair two more times and on three weeks later I now own my rocker recliner! The folks at AHS were friendly and great to work with as the demonstrated true concern for each customer!

We have been loyal shoppers of Ashley Furniture for over ten years now. Our home is Ashley Furniture friendly. We stopped by Ashley Furniture off of Fayetteville Rd. today and had the great pleasure of meeting Jesus and Rahim. We stopped in to possibly purchase a large rug and ended up leaving with multiple rugs, baskets, pillows and other home good items that we needed in order to freshen and update our home. We were so pleased with the way they assisted us, because it meant logging nearly 20 items into the system and then all items had to be loaded into our SUV. We weren't expecting their help with that, but Rahim, rolled out the heavy cart and loaded up all of the rugs, taking them to the car and coming back to get the rest of the items and then loaded them into the SUV. Both Jesus and Rahim went above and beyond and were so patient as we kept finding additional items. They were both very pleasant and helpful and so easy to work with. Other employees working in the store also stopped by to say hello and happily shared in some friendly banter when things slowed down a bit for them. We have been loyal customers for a long time and today was a wonderful reminder of why we are. Thank your for all you did today Jesus and Rahim! Very appreciated!

Koalafi requires payments twice monthly. Additionally, there is a delay with the delivery. In my opinion, it takes too long to receive the furniture. After reviewing the paperwork more closely at home, I decided against the purchase and I called Koalafi and Ashley Furniture and emailed Bonnie. Good luck!

Came into the store to purchase a dining room set. Browsed the store and stood by the desk for 15 minutes. No associate around to complete the transaction. This store lost a sale due to no one being around to discuss the sale.

John was so helpful in helping us find nightstands and a kitchen table. He knew what colors would be best according to our kitchen colors. And he made sure we could visualize the furniture in our home. He asked all the right questions and didn’t follow us around the store.

“DO NOT EVEN VISIT” this store. We met the Worst store Manager ever in our life who is VERY VERY extremely rude to their customer if you are not buying the product right away from them. We bought house and in order to make it “HOME” , we are looking some good but affordable furniture and in order to do that we are roaming from store to store to get good affordable stuff as Money don’t come that easy. Is it wrong? We almost liked one sofa set (cost :2000$) which we were about to purchase so obviously we have to ask questions and search for the similar items. But guess what, you can do this in the store. We were in the store at the closing time but was in middle of the discussion with one item with salesman. And since i know, how hard it is to stay in the store after closing hours so we kept saying the salesperson that we are LEAVING , we will come tomorrow to continue the discussion but he only insisted us to stay 10 more min as it is ok . Oh My God, the behavior of the store manager was like if he was high at that time, he was not ready to listen any word as we have wasted his time by staying in the store after hours(which his salesman only forces us to stay) and then that Manager literally pushed us away from the store door like we have done some crime there. Worst person ever I met. Even I had my child with me, and it was raining heavily outside but WHO cares. Never ever going to visit this or any other Ashley store because of his behavior. “GROW UP MAN and START RESPECTING HARD Earned Money and Customers visiting your store.
