Wanted to send a shout out to Bonnie on the Ashley crew and also the experience for purchasing furniture. We came in with a pretty good idea of what we wanted, and Bonnie walked us through lots of great options and walked through more of what we wanted so we grabbed the perfect piece. Bonnie was very knowledgeable of not only the various pieces we were looking at but of other considerations for the entire room and showed complementary items that matched our style. But in addition, the whole team was very helpful throughout the experience, would recommend!
First time moving into a new apartment and my first time buying a couch and Jesus was pleasant to work with! He explained everything in full detail and kept the conversations fun and interesting!

Bonnie was nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. However, I ended up cancelling my purchase. Not because of Bonnie, but because of the financing company koalafi. Koalafi requires payments twice monthly. Additionally, there is a delay with the delivery. In my opinion, it takes too long to receive the furniture. After reviewing the paperwork more closely at home, I decided against the purchase and I called Koalafi and Ashley Furniture and emailed Bonnie. Good luck!

Came into the store to purchase a dining room set. Browsed the store and stood by the desk for 15 minutes. No associate around to complete the transaction. This store lost a sale due to no one being around to discuss the sale.

“DO NOT EVEN VISIT” this store. We met the Worst store Manager ever in our life who is VERY VERY extremely rude to their customer if you are not buying the product right away from them. We bought house and in order to make it “HOME” , we are looking some good but affordable furniture and in order to do that we are roaming from store to store to get good affordable stuff as Money don’t come that easy. Is it wrong? We almost liked one sofa set (cost :2000$) which we were about to purchase so obviously we have to ask questions and search for the similar items. But guess what, you can do this in the store. We were in the store at the closing time but was in middle of the discussion with one item with salesman. And since i know, how hard it is to stay in the store after closing hours so we kept saying the salesperson that we are LEAVING , we will come tomorrow to continue the discussion but he only insisted us to stay 10 more min as it is ok . Oh My God, the behavior of the store manager was like if he was high at that time, he was not ready to listen any word as we have wasted his time by staying in the store after hours(which his salesman only forces us to stay) and then that Manager literally pushed us away from the store door like we have done some crime there. Worst person ever I met. Even I had my child with me, and it was raining heavily outside but WHO cares. Never ever going to visit this or any other Ashley store because of his behavior. “GROW UP MAN and START RESPECTING HARD Earned Money and Customers visiting your store.

I was looking for a couch and Bonnie Roberts pleasantly greeted me upon walking into the store. Bonnie helped to identify the more modern couches and direct me to the proper area of the store where couches of most interest to me were located. After a bit of testing, I determined that I liked a couch, but I was not sure if the couch would fit in my living space. Bonnie got a tape measure and helped measure the couch dimensions, ensuring we had all the right information needed to make a purchase. It turned out that the couch was a bit too large, so Bonnie was able to customize the couch for my living space. The couch was modular so this worked out well. I enjoyed my experience at the Ashley Furniture and highly recommend working with Bonnie! She was also able to move the delivery date from late September to late August (almost a month earlier than initially expected). Thanks for all of the help, Bonnie! Looking forward to the new couch.

Worst store in the world. Have been dealing with a piece of new furniture for months with them that had a tear. Sent wrong parts three times. Took weeks to get it fixed after we got the parts the repair said it needed something else still have not gotten that and they have no record of it being ordered. They are cheaper than others for a reason. Will never buy from them again.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! They lied to me about the price of the patio set, told us they would match it with the online price but never mentioned the price would go up depending on the terms. When i went back to the store after we got the bill they basically refused to help me. Their salesperson lied to their teeth and manager refused to help me. I will be reaching out to NC state attorney consumer protection.

I have to thank Mike of Ashley's for the extreme amount of patience, professionalism, calmness, respect and positive energy he showed me today. He really allowed me to explore ALL my options for bedroom and living room furniture which covered both ends of the spectrum and everything in between while keeping me focused on my priorities. I know I tested his patience but he remained as cool as a cucumber, as cute as a button and as jolly as Santa throughout. I left with everything I needed & some of what I wanted without sacrificing quality and breaking the bank. I probably cracked it a bit, but there's no regrets. Mike was very reassuring and also kept my waiting family at bay as I touched and sat on every couch like Goldilocks. I left feeling like I a gained a friend, which is more important than getting the furniture I purchased. He is an excellent salesman. Not many people can assuage my anxieties and keep me on track while allowing me to be me, without guilt. I am truly grateful for the experience.

I’m in Massachusetts but had to call Ashley in Durham NC to order furniture to be delivered to my son’s new apartment to make sure it gets delivered on time, everything was in stock and they matched the online pricing. Ebony was such a big help and great at explaining everything to me and made it this online ordering super easy. Fingered crossed everything gets delivered by July 3rd while we are there in NC :)

Mike gave us time to look around as we found a great catch of a deal on a sectional. He even gave a great sales demonstration on purple and tempur-pedic bed mattresses, for i asked if i could try them out for my next purchase. Do not purchase from this store if you want furniture delivered by the date expected. I purchased furniture for my daughter and specifically only purchased items that were in stock that could be delivered by a specific date. I purchased my flights to ensure that I was there to help my daughter move in based on the guaranteed delivery date. I received a text this week now saying that none of the furniture will be delivered on time except the mattress and the dresser. This is completely unacceptable and I would not have purchased furniture from here had I known this ahead of time.

However, Brian, Mike and Bert have made this experience extremely positive. My girlfriend and I recently moved to Cary and were looking for a new couch. When we walked into Ashley, Jon met us in the front entrance and asked us what we were looking for. He showed us several different options and explained the different configurations and pricing options for several different sofas and sectionals. He patiently gave us time to look at our different options and was there to help explain when we needed him. He wasn’t too pushy, but was just as attentive as we needed him to be. We bought a sofa and it is set to be delivered in just one week. Overall a great experience and I would recommend Jon to anybody looking for new furniture at Ashley.

I would NOT recommend Ashley furniture or buy more from them. I went into the store expecting the same price for a dresser listed online: $360. But in the store, it's $450. I was really surprised at that and thought I was maybe mistaken, so I asked the salesperson to do a price comparison...and I was correct that the price online was lower by $90 for the exact same item. I had an 20% coupon that was usable “in store only,” which I realized then was just a trick to get me in the store but there is not a discount at all (I.e., 20% of the $450 store price is the same as the $360 online price). But, the difference was made up in taxes and delivery fees so I still spent $450. How is it legal to have two different prices for the same item sold from the same company?? I would have given 1 star, but the employee who helped me, Raven, was super kind and professional. She was new, so her manager was helping out with the transaction, and that went smoothly. The employees were super nice, I’m just frustrated with the company and will be less likely to purchase furniture from Ashley in the future because of my experience with the price difference online and in store.

Helpful staff that doesn’t make you feel like you’re being stalked. The amount of varied items is helpful. The staff member that assisted us pointed out that when we see a a furnishing set in a certain color they always have a piece in the other color it comes in as part of the display. I had never noticed that until she pointed it out.

Yesterday I got delivered Abinger sofa and a love seat from Ashley. And well where to start from??? I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH EVERYTHING. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME SHOPPING FROM ASHLEY. The quality of a sofa and a love seat is very cheap and are extremely bad. The arms of the sofa are not stitched properly, the material is coming out and the staplers are coming out. The love seat is sinking in, and we can hear the sound. The back cushion of a love seat has no cushion like a sofa it seems like it's been used before. Yesterday right after the delivery I called Ashley and the lady on the other hand told me that a technician will come and fix all the issues. She told me that they will order all the tools and materials needed to fix the sofa and a love seat and the tools and material will come to my house. Once I receive the material and the tools, I should call them and then the technician will come and repair everything as needed. And she told me that it will take at least 10 days. I didn't receive any email or text message according to that so I do not have any proof of that I called them about the issues in the sofa and a love seat and they will send someone to fix it. I wasn't expecting this cheap sofa and a love seat that I have to go through every single stitch of it. But once I saw it on one arm of a sofa, I checked every single stitch of them. WOW I don't think so I have to do it after paying such a good amount of money to them. And my god the smell, the sofa has a terrible smell, I am not sure what the smell is, but it is really toxic, and it has chocked my throat since yesterday. I am really worried about what I have smelled since yesterday and how dangerous it is for my health.
We purchased the 3 piece Carnaby and it was a little off in size but we came back in and Mike was very helpful with the entire process.

Great service, Daniel was an awesome salesman who helped us pick out a fantastic bed set and mattress. In store experience was great, but delivery left much to be desired. Our delivery person came to our door, left a "sorry we missed you" tag and never knocked or rang our doorbell. We now have to sit and wait for them to email the delivery service then get contact from them. We have NO furniture after our house and all of our belongings burned to bits last year and we're counting on this delivery to have a bed to sleep on. This has been a huge disappointment and the store should look into a better delivery service.

Overall, the experience was good I do feel that the furniture is still over priced just like everything else for the quality. However, we do need furniture and opt to go with Ashley’s as it is very close to our home. We had a family member that had issues in delivery and constant issues still with furniture seven months later, so provided that we do not have the issues we will see how this goes as long as the delivery date is exactly what we requested in the furniture is delivered undamaged and in great condition will be fine The reason for the three star rating is personally the price point for the furniture and the previous experience with Ashley is that we’ve had we shall see in two weeks whether the delivery information that we were promised and told is consistent. If not it’s going to be some issues. If you’ve ever heard the saying, first impressions mean everything this is why the three star rating first impressions really do mean everything the moment I purchase to the moment of delivery if everything is consistent organized structured with no damage no issues installed properly then five star ratings would be warranted As far as the overall experience, when we just purchased was great, I’ve had no issues with that everyone’s always very nice in the stores always taking care of us in the stores. The issue comes from the logistic side, but please keep in mind it doesn’t matter if Ashley’s outsource is the logistics or it’s in-house when I have issues I don’t see the logistic company is separate from Ashley’s. I see this as an Ashley problem. With all that being said, we hope that the experience that we experience in the store is the same experience with the delivery we shall see this experience will determine whether we purchase from Ashley’s ever again or just go to another vendor so everything rides on this delivery in the last several years between myself, my spouse and my mother, we’ve spent close to 25 $30,000 in furniture we shall see

I had an excellent experience in the store with my sales person, Preston. A no pressure sale with patience and additional time and attention paid. I highly recommend a purchase through him. My issue with Ashley Furniture has been and still is the poor customer service of their contracted delivery provider. This is my 3rd purchase from Ashley and each time, I’ve had issues with delivery. I feel like I’m owed money by sitting here all day with their delivery time updated to 3 hours AFTER the delivery time window. It’s so so bad. They charge you $79 for a rescheduled delivery but what does the customer get? They had a 3 hour window and couldn’t meet that expectation. I’m still waiting for my furniture and hoping it’s perfect when it arrives.

28JAN23 We've needed new living room furniture for a few years. I think we got passed on to 4 different people 🙄. Ended up working with Daniel. Daniel was excellent and knowledgeable, he was able to answer all of our questions. We bought the gray couch and loveseat in the pictures. Poor delivery is scheduled for 21FEB22. I will come back to this review and add customer service interactions and our experience with the delivery service.

This is my first time going to the Ashley‘s store on Fayetteville Road in Durham and I absolutely loved my experience. I had already know what I wanted after looking online and was able to find it in the store thanks for the help of Preston. In addition, Preston and BJ were able to price match the lower online price to my purchase for the day. They also helped me save an additional 5% by joining the Ashley VIP club. Overall the entire process was easy and efficient. I’m definitely coming back here for future Furniture purchases.

I reached out to customer service and received a shipment number for them, but still do not have them two months later. It was easier to buy replacements from lowes than contact support again to be told of a third shipping error.

I went to the Southpoint location to see if a sectional that I’d been eyeing online was available in store for me to check out. No such luck, but Rodney was a great help and showed me several items in the showroom that would fit my needs. In the end, I decided to order the piece from the website and Rodney helped me complete the order while in the store. Daniel was also a huge help in getting info about the products availability and ship date. All in all, a great experience. I got a great piece of furniture at a great price…with great service. We had the pleasure of working with Daniel when we purchased our new dining table and chairs. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Most importantly though, he was no-pressure and truly only sought to make us happy. He answered all of our questions and filed us with confidence that we made the right choice. Highly recommend.
While the people in the store are kind and helpful, if you have a problem after they get your money you are in trouble. I placed an order with them on 5/30/22 and ended up having to cancel it a few months later. It never was delivered and it shouldn't have been a major issue. Over a period of 40 days, I was told each time I spoke to someone that no one had put the cancelation in yet and that they would take care of it and I would get a follow up phone call the next day. This happened every week with the same story. I never did get a phone call. I finally got a hold of the person who sold me the couch and he said the cancelation was the first time he had heard about it and that he would get it taken care of. Two weeks later I call back and now they magically can't even find my order to see if it was canceled. I was forced to back charge the purchase off my Credit Card just to get my money back. Long story short, if you need to cancel, good luck. They are quick to take your money, but will do everything in their power to give you the run around when it comes to giving it back.

I’ve been living 4 months without furniture and decided to pull the trigger on furnishing my home. Ebony Harrison was a great help in me finding what style I liked and didn’t like. I needed a mattress and she suggested a Tempur-Pedic. I was skeptical at first but after falling asleep twice on this mattress, in the store I was definitely sold and can not wait until this mattress arrives. “I literally fell asleep and she didn’t even wake me up.” LOL I also met the GM of this store “Will” and the young lady at the checkout desk were both kind as well. I’m a stickler for great customer service and Ebony went above and beyond. In all I purchased, a mattress, the base, bed, couch and ottoman, (we’re working on finding the right bar stools). I’ll be returning in a couple of weeks to shop for beds for a second bedroom. Ebony made the process seamless, (I can sometimes be indecisive when making large purchases) I didn’t really feel like I was shopping though. We talked about the layout of my home, and what my family enjoyed doing at home. I look forward to picking out beds and barstools when I return. K. Harrison

Never visit or buy anything from this store, paid the amount for the sofa, however when I went to pick it up, it was sold to another customer. Infact waisted 4 hours on my trip, please visit other stores before going and buying anything, the CC did not help.

I gave a 5 star review a few months ago, but I wanted to update it today (September 24, 2022) to explain why. We received our furniture yesterday (using the customer will call option as our home was not finished at the time of purchase) and we are thrilled. In store, we worked with Anthony from start to finish and we will request him again. He was patient and gave us space as we shopped. He did not push us or pressure us in any way. For this, I will always look for Anthony next time we shop there. Our furniture looks great and we look forward to using it in our new home.
We haven’t shopped for new bedroom furniture in almost 20 years so we weren’t sure what to expect. Right away Wayne was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for the style we were looking for. He and his manager took the time to ensure we got everything we needed within our budget. We are super excited to get our furniture and are thankful for a good experience in the process.

Horrible experience! Please do not buy from this place. They cancel the order without adequately informing after a wait period of 6 months. The products are below par and customer service is outright bad.. do not buy from Ashley! Edit: Ashley team asked me to reach out on a private number and informed someone will reach out within 24-48 hrs. Still waiting on that! (Looks like the public response is just to end the story, but no real support from then on)

I have been dealing with Ashley for a while now trying to resolve several issues from my initial purchase, however, Mark who has recently joined as a general manager at this location really stepped up, and resolved everything very quickly. He was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The new team they have is very friendly. I’m truly grateful for their excellent service.
I am very happy with the experience I have had with this Ashley Store. Every time I would call, everyone was helpful. When I went to the store, same thing. Then when it came time for delivery of my furniture, the store GM Mark was very professional and helpful. And one thing I really appreciated was he did not assume anything. He really wanted me to be satisfied with everything. We did have a coupe of issues with individual items, but he (Mark) immediately worked to remedy the situation. We will definitely be going back here when we need furnishings.

Highly disappointed. After leaving 1 location due to a horrible experience with the representative and being told that a set would not be available for 6 months. Found a set here was sold a mattress as well and told I could pick up at 1 location that was not far only to get there and told it wasnt there. Then told I had to go another hour out of town to get it. Finally get back to put the set together and find out they did not give us the screws to put it back together. Kenneth was very nice though.

We chose our bedroom suites from Ashley Homestore and we couldn't be more pleased with them! We thought they'd come in close to when our house is finished, but they're ready early. Seems we have to either take them now or pass on them & hope we can get them in a couple of months. We decided to take them now & just rent another storage unit. Excited for the end of March!

Terrible customer service. After 21 weeks, my sofa arrived, incomplete. Now waiting another 2 months for the pillow. Their solution was a small reimbursement. The lady that gives the reimbursement was very very rude.
Great experience today with sales associate Mr. Daniel Odeh. Daniel greeted us on arrival and never hovered. When we needed him, he was there immediately. We asked for best price on a beautiful leather chair and 1/2 matching ottoman. He came back with a price we were happy with and he took care of entire sale and even helped another associate carry the items to our truck. Genuinely a very present experience and a personal connection between my wife and I and Daniel. We will absolutely be back. This is how it’s done folks!

In store experience was great…initially. Apparently I’ve been waiting around for my item to be taken off “will call” (even though I went in the store at a later date to let them know I was ready to have a date scheduled) but was told not to worry about it. Update: Had my couch delivered today, the sales person in the end really just didn’t know what he was doing or anything about the products really. Sold me on getting a battery pack, which I am going to keep and use but I was under the impression it would provide power for the lights and charging not just the motor functionality. Customer service 5 stars, delivery guys 5 stars, sales person 1 star.

DONT SHOP AT THIS PLACE. Ordered table and chairs and once delivered the chairs were used and worn. I rejected the chairs and requested a return. No one called from the store to communicate the status of the chairs, each time I called I received different communication. One person told me the chairs were in stock and would arrive less than a week and now today I call and they don't have a date on when the chairs will arrive. Due to covid we were very specific about the funature we purchased ensuring there was a date. Due to them delivering used products now we will not have chairs for the holidays. They have a policy they don't tell you about and hidden terms and conditions. Rooms to go is a better place to shop or Raleigh Discount funature.

Worst experience I have ever experienced anywhere purchasing anything, so much to explain , however the biggest word is complete "Lies" I would never trust anyone at this location , we spent $25,000 And got laughed at when we found out the day before our move it wasn't even scheduled. Great customer service! Dejah is a great resource for Ashley Furniture and is very knowledgeable. It's a bummer that lead times are so long at this time but that's common for all furniture stores and any companies that deal in manufacturing and supply chain issues.
This is my second purchase with Ashley Furniture. Every time I have walked in there, I was greeted promptly and was given great customer service. I especially enjoyed working with Dejah this second go around. She's incrediblely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Not happy about how long it will take to get the couch but manufacturing delays and parts shortages are just a part of the process these days.
I am writing this to prevent any customer from the same experience that we have had with Ashley’s Homestore. Our experience has been far from exceptional. We ordered some new furniture over a few weeks ago and our sales agent said we would have it in 2 weeks…. 6 weeks later and we still don’t have it. Every time we get a window for drop off they never one within that time and it’s hard to reschedule. Not worth the hassle and customer service is awful.

After discussion with the company, I have found my earlier issues were due to a misunderstanding that really primarily involved my credit card company. After diagnosing the problem, things have been sorted out. Meanwhile, I would have to say that the company have been responsive.
Have been waiting over 16 weeks for a dining table. Get annoying text every 2 weeks saying they are working round the clock to get furniture to customers during this tough pandemic. But then I hear from customer rep that the vendor is slow to make. Well which is it? I can’t recommend this place at all.

We loved the fact that she listened to our needs & provided the best options within our budget. Shopping at this store was fine but delivery was the absolute worst. I took time off work which isn’t easy for me to do. I received a delivery window of 1:30-4:30. It is now 7:30 pm and nothing. I have been waiting almost 3 months when I was told 4-6 weeks. This is the most unprofessional and frustrating experience I have ever had. Talked to someone earlier in the day and they said it will be delivered. Now no one answers the phone and I can’t even leave a message. I will never buy from or recommend Ashley to anyone. Just look at all the reviews for delivery and run away.

TAKE MY ADVISE AND GO TO ROOMS TO GO. IT MAY TAKE A WHILE TO GET YOUR FURNITURE BUT THEY WILL GIVE YOU A DEFINITE DATE BEFORE YOU LEAVE AND THEY COVER ALL ITEMS WITH BLANKETS AND PLASTIC IF IT RAINS. THE DELIVERY DRIVERS CAME TO MY HOUSE WHEN IT WAS A 100% CHANCE OF RAIN (TROPICAL STORM) STAYED IN THE TRUCK 10 MINUTES A DROVE OFF. I HAVE NEVER.....
The salesperson was good but no one is able to give me an approximate date when my furniture will be delivered. It looks like if you have the tine to wait then it’s okay. If you are in need of your furniture sooner I would not purchase from them. I have dealt with other companies abs although they could not deliver until weeks later, I was given a date. I really think this is crazy that they cannot call the manufacturer to find out approximately when my furniture will be available. I am considering canceling my order if I locate the set somewhere else because I’m paying too much money to not have an idea of when I will have my new furniture
Extremely helpful Great Prices and Quality
I'm really happy with the furniture we purchased here, at least what has been delivered so far, and the sales guy Anthony was really great. But getting the stuff delivered has been a challenge. Two of the pieces we ordered have been rescheduled for delivery twice so far. With the most recent iteration of this, we tracked it on the delivery truck and then the tracking link suddenly broke partially and stated only that the truck was one stop beyond ours with our furniture never delivered. I called that day and their phone system was broken. I called in the next day and all they could tell me was that it was coded as delivered but that it also had never made it on the truck. They then had to send a request to billing to resolve it on that end first. No word on if they have even found the (missing?) furniture, let alone when the rescheduled delivery might be. The worst part is they didn't even seem aware that there was an issue until I had called in. Still struggling to get these items delivered. To be fair, the delivery timeline is still far ahead of what was promised during the initial sale. But I would have rather have waited the six weeks and had a smooth delivery as opposed to feeling like I need to babysit the process. Would recommend the company looks into streamlining correction of failed delivery attempts, and working on finding the items simultaneously with working out billing on your side. Additionally, keeping customers informed of what is going on in the process and what happened when things didn't go to plan would be preferable to being mostly in the dark. 7/1 update - we were supposed to receive the remaining barstool today. Waited at the delivery window, and again this was unsuccessful. Here is a rough timeline of events we've experienced trying to get this stuff delivered: May 30th – Ordered furniture. Barstools 2 weeks, table 6 weeks. One table, seven barstools. June 15th – Delivery of barstools expected. Received a call that part of the order was damaged. Initially said that all seven barstools would need to be rescheduled. However, six of them (unexpectedly) showed up during the initial delivery window. June 17th – Seventh barstool was scheduled for delivery. Received an additional call that day attempting to schedule delivery of the table too, which had become available. The June 17th delivery date for the table disappeared (they couldn’t explain why), and both were scheduled for delivery on June 21st. June 22nd – Tracked delivery, and it never arrived. Called that evening, phone system was broken June 23rd – Called in, no real answers June 24th - Called in, no real answers June 25th - Called in, no real answers June 26th - Called in, no real answers June 28th – Called in, billing switch had finally been approved. June 29th – Paperwork on Ashely Furniture’s end finally resolved. Can schedule delivery of remaining barstool, but they cannot find the table. Scheduled barstool for Thursday. July 1st – Tracked delivery for barstool, and it never arrived. Called in and they said it had never made it onto the truck. They had never let us know about this, and cannot find the barstool. Both table and barstool are now out of stock and we do not have a delivery timeline for either *** Update 7/2 - the phone number they posted below asking me to text to 'make it right'. I texted it yesterday, and big surprise, no reply. Just an absolutely horrible system of customer support all around. I am completely defeated by this experience.
So annoyed. I am waiting for my sofa over a month later and they still aren’t telling me any details. So annoying!!!!!!!
Posting a review here in hopes that management will finally call me. We have had a horrible experience. I have been waiting 16 weeks for a couch that was supposed to take 12 weeks maximum. We did finally get part of the couch (only because I reached out 5 times over chat to get a partial delivery) delivered however one of the pieces is damaged. I have tried now twice to file a claim for the damaged piece to have it exchanged (exactly what the delivery man told me to do) and both times over chat they have said that someone will call me but no one has called me. I will update this review if someone ever calls me back and let people know how long it ultimately takes to get the furniture that was supposed to be delivered by 12 weeks.
Went into the store to purchased a couch then wait for 2 weeks for no one to show up. I call the store they tell me something happened from the finance side. The whole experience is a complete nightmare, very messy and unorganized. If I would had known better I would have stuck with rooms2go.
Did my entire 3 floor townhouse and was under budget. Great designs and wall decor. Lots of options and can fit any theme you are looking for eg Modern, coastal, Chic or City. Worked with Mr. Cub and he helped me with my vision. I personally went for a coastal theme with a modern twist.
Over all a Worst experience. They tried to deliver the dining set twice and both the times there was a defect with the parts. The delivery guys some how tried to assemble it and I noticed the damage both the times and pointed it out. They left the chairs and took the damaged table and mentioned that they would deliver the table in 3-4 days. A day later I received a call from customer service that the table is damaged and I will have to few more months. I waited for two months and now I have to wait for few more months. So I decided to cancel and went to store to cancel the order and the manager has cancelled just the table and he asked me if I want to keep the chairs. Why the heck I would keep the chairs with out a table ? They try to sell you anything. They submitted a return to corporate for those chairs and they did not give any definite date for pick up. The store manager mentioned that he would call me for a date and he never gave me a call . When I call the store , the staff says that he is not available. They are harassing me from past one month. I'm not sure how to get help or whom to reach out. Its a nightmare to buy furniture from Ashely. I regret everyday why I haven't bought it from Costco. I wont recommend any one to buy from this store.
I have been seeking assistance to have a chest of drawers to be repaired or replaced since March to no avail. Only had the furniture set for four months. Steps taken in order since March (long list): 1-Went to a nearby Ashley Store with photos and video to discuss our issue and was told to call insurance plan that we purchased. 2-Called insurance plan described problem and was told it was a manufacture’s issue and to call the 800 Ashley number. 3-Called Ashley Customer Service and was told parts would be ordered and shipped directly to us in 5-7 business days. 4-Called Ashely Customer Service again after weeks of waiting. Was told things not in due to COVID and date unknown, maybe closer to the end of May. After expressing my displeasure, was told we would be added to the list to have the piece replaced. We would go with whichever comes first. We were to receive a call about the replacement in 2-3 days. 5-Never received the call. Reached out to Ashely Customer Service on FB Messenger and described the problem. Received a phone call back. Was told that the decision was made to not make an exception for us to be placed on the list for a replacement and we would have to wait for the parts. I would have to wait until whenever the parts came to their warehouse, then shipped to my house. Once received I would have to call back to schedule a time with a technician. If the technician could not fix it, only then would we be eligible for a replacement (which is not in the warehouse…you guessed it…caused by COVID). This would have us waiting AGAIN for resolution. The agent got upset with me because I was upset about feeling lied to and put off again. 6-Went to the store located on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC, where we made the purchase-was told to come back the next day to speak to the general manager. A copy of my sales slip and my contact information was taken to be provided to the general manager first thing the next morning. I was also told that my furniture collection was in stock and there should not be an issue with getting a replacement quickly. 7-Went back the next day…you guessed it…the general manager was not in. I was told two conflicting stories. One of the “managers” said the general managers don’t work on Thursdays and someone misspoke. The person who sold us the furniture told me that the general manager was there that day but was called away. UGH! Was he there or not! Both individuals promised to pass along my information and I would be contacted by the general manager. I left telling them both I very seriously doubted I would receive a call. 8-Today…I tried calling the number provided by the “manager” yesterday. I was given a number to call to make sure the general manager was in prior to making the 25 minute drive. The number does not ring directly to the store, but goes to the larger phone tree…I was number 98 in the phone queue. I just gave up with speaking to a human being. This is utterly ridiculous…shouldn’t be this difficult for something that appears to be an easy fix!!!
Don't buy from Ashley. I ordered from Ashley and we got different color headboard and side frame. Now I notice other issue, the measurement in website is incorrect. The width in website saying 84" but its actually 94". So I try to return it and not accepting the returns. Also there customer service is very poor. Buy from Ashley with your own risk

Ashley home store in Durham nc by Southpoint mall. If it was possible to give neg. stars I would. I had the worst experience with them I was told my furniture would be delivered by a certain date by the salesperson. I was told this date after i said I could not have it delivered anytime after the first of the month. When I got a date it was after the date I was told. I went to the store to cancel the delivery because of the inconvenience as well as because they never answer the phone to cancel over the phone. When I got to the store the lady at the desk basically tells me that the associates can’t tell you a date ( which I was told a date) and that I would be billed for the cancellation due to the associate lying to me. Either that or find something else at or above the price of the items being cancelled. After me saying I want to cancel it because there is no way I can get anything delivered after the specified date and that I would like to cancel my order anyway she still tried to sale something else to me. Worst customer service experience of my life... I would not recommend at all.
DO NOT PURCHASE THE GBS PROTECTION PLAN. IT DOESN'T COVER ANYTHING. YOU CAN NEVER GET AHOLD OF THEM. I don't see how Ashley Furniture supports them. My couch has spontaneously ripped under the cushion. It has a cover on it unless I'm cleaning it. They say that isn't covered.
He did it again! Jon Hedges has evolved into my personal salesperson! The store itself is well organized, clean and in stock. Jon goes above and beyond to ensure we get the best prices, friendly service and an overall outstanding experience. Bravo Ashley furniture and Jon!

I swear I had a horrible experience with Ashley home. People STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ! They delivered me a broken chest and they literally were trying to force me to accept delivery . When I talked to customer service the lady on the phone said I bought it as it is . The bed frame doesn't have hardware and I am waiting for it forever! Was trying to talk to store manager but she never available and I always been promised to get call back from her .
Cub, was cool and very helpful. He was patient and provided me with every detail of my purchase.
Horrible experience with the delivery team today. Initial delivery date was scheduled to be 12/10/20 which could not be met. After many phone calls and a trip to the store a new delivery date was scheduled to happen 12/17/20 between 1:30pm and 4:30pm. At 4:04pm we receive a robot phone call letting us know the team was 10 minutes away. After waiting for 45 minutes we reached out once again to the store to ask what was going on, and apparently our street "could not be located", therefore, our turn was skipped until further notice. No phone call from the team to ask for directions. No communication whatsoever. Very disappointed with this experience. Will ask for a refund and take our business elsewhere. Be aware and stay safe!

I absolutely DO NOT recommend ordering furniture from this Ashley’s Furniture Store , I repeat absolutely DO NOT recommend ordering from any Ashley’s Furniture Store! I have been waiting patiently over a month for my the other half of my bedroom set, with the order date being pushed back TWICE! I ordered my bedroom set at the end of JULY and now they are telling me it’s now back ordered until NOVEMBER!!!!! They have no other options for me and I have to wait up to 7 DAYS to talk to the return team about POSSIBLY returning the few pieces I have received. I would NOT be ordering from ASHLEY’s FURNITURE STORE AGAIN!!!!! I am NOT happy about the service I have received!!!!

First time purchasing furniture..definitely a little overwhelming. However, Lori and Brandon worked seamlessly together to find the best furniture sets, while being mindful of my budget, and provided me the best information for options and financing based on my needs. If this had been elsewhere someone could have taken advantage of my vulnerability but they realized this was a milestone in my life and it was a blast to have them coordinate colors and combine separate pieces to make my rooms unique. It was great to have individuals understand my corkiness to room design and not be judged! Thank you. I dislike vague sale interactions and high sales tactic so it felt good to have genuine professionals carry the sale to the end.. 4 hours later! Ha. The fun part to this was the store had only been open in just July so it was refreshing to have a positive team to guide my experience as well as a vibrant showroom floor. I was fortunate enough to purchase a floor item and Brandon happily held it for pick up. He was present the morning of to make sure the pick-up was done to my satisfaction. Lastly, and hopefully this is not relevant in the future; they adhered to all covid restrictions and ensured a safe and distanced shopping experience. I Look forward to seeing you all again for accents after the remaining pieces arrive!
I had a wonderful experience in this store. We recently moved from another state and needed to furnish our home. My sales associate Amber was awesome! She has a wonderful attitude. We were undecided on what to get, but Amber was patient with us and meet our needs. She went out of her way to help us. I went to other furniture stores after, but came back to Ashley Home-store because the service they provided was worth it all. Hands down on of the best experience I have had being new to town. Highly recommend!!!

Such a wonderful experience shopping for my new bedroom furniture. I had the pleasure of working with a young lady by the name of Tyiah in the new Durham Ashley HomeStore location at Southpoint. Tyiah was very knowledgeable about the products that I was interested in and she took her time to make sure that I was happy with my product selections. She made recommendations when I seemed usurp of what I wanted and she was very patient with my indecisiveness. I was met in the store by an associate almost immediately. A lovely young lady named Tyiah assisted me the entire time and answered any questions I had about pricing, quality of the product and shipping of the product. I felt comfortable and was impressed with the professionalism shown by Tia, as I found out she has not even been with Ashley 6 months yet. I came into this store and the show room was beautiful. I was looking for a livingroom set and Lorrie helped us through the process. I was very impressed by her costumer service. Just moved to the area. I wandered in to the store without anything specific in mind, when a black haired fairy (I think her name was Madison) swooped in and gave me the furniture experience I didn't know I needed. I wasn't prepared to buy that day, and informed her that I wouldn't be, and she told me that was no problem at all. She gave me the rundown of the store and offered her help in any way. Little did I know, I really needed her help! So much information about sleep systems and furniture styles. Can't thank her enough. I will be returning. Ask for the steam punk pixie goddess. She welcomed me at the door and was very helpful and patient throughout the whole experience. She also answered every question I came up with and did a great job putting my dining set together. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was just positive and welcoming. I was greeted by this young lady by the name of Dejah who was very respectful and kind. Talk about great customer service! I had to order a specific headboard so I called Ashley Homestore in Durham, NC. I was lucky enough to get Randy. who helped me get the headboard ordered, schedule delivery and pay all via text as I am out of the state but needed a local delivery. He confirmed with photos, made sure payment was safe and secure, setup for delivery on my requested date and was extremely helpful. This was not a big order but Randy treated me like it was.

My husband and I were looking for bedroom furniture, we were greeted by sales manager Randy...we've found a set we've absolutely fallen in love with and Randy was able to get us a great price! We have also been looking for Tempur-pedic mattress for a few years and has finally found the one that fits our needs perfectly - so we went ahead and used their VIP program to get us 60 months 0% for our purchase. Definitely recommend going to this store if you are in need of new furniture.
I stopped in and first of all the staff was incredibly receptive! I came over to find furniture to furnish my apartment and the store had a variety of options. I was able to furnish my entire place and also got a really nice mattress, while I was there. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend this store for your home furnishing needs. The managers were very helpful and made sure to get me the best price possible!
Wow!! This store is absolutely stunning. Me and my boyfriend came here to shop for our new apartment in Durham and we found so many collections that we liked. The Sales Manager Randy was also very helpful when we had any questions, but he was not pushy at all and helped us fit everything into our budget. We had already planned to pay cash for everything, but he told us about there VIP program that offered us 12 months 0% so we went ahead and signed up to get an extra 5% off of our total purchase! Can’t wait to get our new furniture delivered next month. We will definitely be back soon for our other projects around the new place.

We have shopped with Ashley in Orlando and in Atlanta, but have never experienced a store this nice with such a friendly staff! If you go be sure to ask for Madison.
