Kevin provided exceptional assistance over the phone in helping me locate a pillow — yes, just one single pillow. He took the time to search for the discontinued item in his system, successfully found it, and followed up with a call to confirm, just as he promised. When I arrived two days later from out of town, Kevin had already placed the pillow behind the counter, and had it waiting for me. Now that's true customer service at its finest! Kevin, may your sales expectations exceed all that you can imagine, for your kindness, and consideration toward customers regardless if they spend $25 or $2500.

Outstanding service. My husband and I had gone to a few furniture stores in the area before and after visiting Ashley. The first time we visited, Phil was our Sales Associate and he was very welcoming, upfront and knowledgeable . He did not hover over us as we took our time to look through the store. A month or so went by and we returned to Ashley’s and was greeted by Phil again, we still was hesitant with fully committing so it took us a couple of days when we returned and asked for Phill to seal the deal!! We appreciated the patience, the understanding and the prompt service and delivery we received. Moving to a new place can be stressful and filled with anxiety and uncertainty. Well my experience was turned around because of how well Anna assisted me with finding things to furnish my new apartment. She was so knowledgeable about the items I wanted to look at and offered options to things that I didn’t like. REDACTION: I'd like to start by saying that the furniture is not the issue, all the furniture we bought exactly fit our needs. That being said, we had some major issues beginning with cost reflection, lack of accurate information, salesman integrity, unprofessional delivery, lack of managerial concern in regards to employee and company integrity and a severe lack in accountability. We did get our issues resolved after several days of wasted time at the store, and we were eventually routed to call customer care. My husband spoke with a very nice lady (Unfortunately I don't have her name) assisted him in resolving the situation. It seemed as though Ken and Lauren (the general store manager) were more concerned with pulling the wool over our eyes to acknowledge the reality of the situation. This particular store with its fraudulent and asinine sales tactics were a glorified Rent-a-Center. We will still purchase Ashley Furniture however we will be viewing the items at the store then ordering it directly from the website. Ken and Amanda did an amazing job. Ken helped us with all questions and options. We appreciate all the great customer service. Thank you guys!

Awful, don’t buy from them! Got the insurance and everything unfortunately they stopped selling my couch offered me a replacement for mine. Asked if they will remove original couch when new one comes in. Was told no and had to remove the couch prior to delivery or they wouldn’t be able to deliver it. Told me to contact habitat of humanity to remove the couch. I followed the directions now I’m being told it was supposed to be an exchange and refuse to deliver my couch. I’m out 160 bucks for couch. And now I can’t get anyone on the phone.

The moment I walked in the store, Ken introduced himself and instead of doing like regular salesmen and just immediately trying to sell me something, he asked what my needs were. Told him I was looking for a bed and he took me down the rabbit hole of beds, not once telling me I needed to buy this one vs that one, never once judging my appearance and trying to usher me towards the cheaper stuff. He treated me as a friend, gave me solid information on the products, not rehearsed information as if he sold the same thing for years and was just trying to get me out the door. But genuinely good information from self use of the product. Walked me through all the paperwork, made sure I got the package I felt good about, not pushing me toward another package to just get more money out of me. Ken was a kind hearted soul, and it was a pleasure doing business with Ken at Ashley Store in Fayetteville.

We have had nothing but a horrible experience from our purchases from Ashley furniture. From couch and recliner, degradation and issues with installation, and most importantly our big purchase which involved a Tempur-Pedic foundation and mattress. The company that installed our foundation for our Tempur-Pedic mattress did not install the support beam correctly. In fact, they miss one on the left side and it caused sagging of our mattress over the first 2 years. After multiple visits they finally realized that it was their fault on the installation and we were told then that the mattress integrity was no longer valid because it was not properly supported for at least 2 years. We were given the replacement for the foundation, and we were also given a credit to change out our mattress. Unfortunately this was during covid, there was job loss, I was out on maternity leave for our child and we were unable to pay the small $200 fee at the time for the delivery that we were unaware of. That was my fault for not reading the fine print, but point being it just wasn't feasible at the time. We have tried twice now since then and now we are getting denied because they feel like they can see staining on the mattress itself. Although we have always used a mattress protector that was also purchased through Ashley furniture. You can see the mattress in person is pristine. It is the mattress protector that has stains. But my point being, Tempur-Pedic clearly stated that it was their fault from installation and we deserve to have a new mattress. But now that we are trying to go back years later and get this taken care of after I have just had a spinal fusion surgery resulting from rapid progression of my disease. Since the use of this mattress, they continue to deny my claim and will not honor their original replacement. I will never ever spend another dollar with Ashley furniture or Tempur-Pedic due to sat. Horrible customer service and lack of care for customers. This is bad business, especially from such large companies. What a letdown. I have receipts to follow any and all of this information if anybody feels like helping. Which I'm sure you won't or it would have already been taken care of.

I purchased a power lift chair. My sister sat in six chairs in the Fayetteville area. She said this one was the most comfortable by far. Holly was excellent in her advice and she was not pushy at all. She explained the fabric, mechanisms and warranty. Thank you for a great experience and great price

I went to Ashley furniture store off of Skibo road next to Staples. Tiffany was my sells associate. She was very polite, nice, helpful and knowledgeable of the products. I didnt really know what I waited, yet had the basic idea what I needed my livingroom set to have. She lisson very well and let me know what all you had in stock that would fit my needs. When I found a set I liked , she worked hard to get me all the discounts and promotions she could to save me much money as possible. I enjoyed my time with her. We sat and talked like we was friends that knew each other for years. She did not rush me. She didnt walk off , or act as if I was wasting her time. I actually come 2 times before I decided to buy the living room furniture. Truthfully I loved the set , but what really made me go a head and by it was talking with Tiffany and feeling comfortable that I was getting the best deal I could. We are in the middle of remodeling our home so we was only out and about window shopping. We can not even do anything with the furniture right now. Tiffany has it put on hold for us until we are ready for it to be delivered. The best part is... we didnt even have to pay anything until my order is delivered. 🤗 We will be back to get the rest of the stuff I need for the house after it gets finshed remodeled. Kevin at Ashley is one of the best furniture salesmen I’ve come in contact with. This guy knew everything about every piece in store. He did several eye opening test, to prove the quality of the product. He was extremely patient, and not pushy. He’s an example all in his field should follow.

I am very indecisive and take way too long (probably 4 hours each visit) to make a decision. Faith (for our first visit) and Phil (for our second visit) were absolutely amazing!!!!! They both took their time explaining pros and cons of each item we were considering. Prices may be a little higher than other places but quality and customer service definitely make up for it. We will be back next time we need furniture!

Recently I sat behind a gentleman at this store who was paying hundreds of dollars in coins (for who knows what conceivable reason). The service throughout was great, so however obnoxious this fellow shopper was intent on being, I waited patiently to make a purchase. And wouldn’t you know? After all that counting, it was still customer service with a smile 🥲 You love to see it.

Never in the history of retail have I experienced this kind of revelatory, life altering level of customer service. The checkout process itself should have its own surcharge, that’s how good we’re talking here.

I went to the Fayetteville Ashley store today with a very specific request. I was immediately greeted by Tiffany with an amazing smile and a great sense for customer service. I told Tiffany what I was after and she without hesitation guided me through the store, showing me the options that fit my needs. We found exactly what I was after and completed the transaction in just a matter of minutes. I was very impressed with Tiffany and her ability to satisfy all of my needs.

Update to my first initial review: upon receiving my new furniture I immediately told the delivery driver that the bar stools I purchased were all wobbly. He stated that he would call customer service to initiate a service call to have the barstools repaired by a master craftsman from Ashley. I was told by the customer service agent that I needed to send videos and pictures of the issue to begin the claim. I was not aware that I could have refused the delivery. After waiting almost a month for the delivery I now have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks for a craftsman to come determine if they can be fixed. I purchased brand new stools and I do not want “fixed” stools. I want first quality stools that are in perfect condition for the price that I paid. After searching online to see what others were saying about this stool and if this was a common problem I found the exact same stool being sold on Amazon by Ashley for less than half the price and was able to be delivered in 2 days. Going to the Ashley store is a scam. They will not return the stools and it takes forever to get someone on the phone at the customer service number. I could have saved money and bought them on Amazon. Also if the Amazon stools had this same problem I would have been able to return them. Save money, time and any unforeseen headaches and just buy stuff on Amazon. Do not shop from this store. I also have to retract my statement about finding pieces at a reasonable price. Don’t make the mistakes that we did and always check Amazon even when you think you are getting a good price. I will not ever shop at an Ashley store. Below ⬇️ is my original rating. It’s sad they were so concerned with me leaving a 5 star review they neglected to mention that I could refuse the delivery if I encountered any problems with the merchandise when delivered. He did mention it was not returnable and so far that has been the most truthful statement that was made. Excellent customer service from all of the sales associates and especially from Alexander. He took us all around the store to help us find exactly what we were looking for. We found great pieces at a reasonable price. Alexander was able to find pieces that would fit all of our specifications and fit the aesthetic we were looking for. We will be back to Ashley and look forward to working with Alexander again.

My experience in store today was great! Anna listened to my unique situation and found me two sectionals and recliner for my home that's easy to clean and "oops" resistant. She was also able to be lower than my quoted prices from other stores that sell Ashley Furniture, for the exact same sectional and slightly upgraded sectional.

The sales agent who helped me with my furniture purchase told me that changing my billing and delivery address would be easy — he said I just needed to call, and they would update it right away. However, when I contacted Fortiva, I was informed that the address could not be changed and that my furniture and bills would still be sent to my old address. I believe this situation shows a lack of professionalism and communication between the store and Fortiva. As a customer, I should not have had to spend extra time fixing an issue that should have been handled properly from the beginning. We came in today looking for specific couch that we have seen at another store but we wanted to look at it and see it on it and be able to experience it and we were not able to do that anywhere else Fayetteville Ashley store had exactly the couch we were looking for and had in mind also we wanted two leather recliners to compliment and are associate faith is her name she walked us around that store took a straight to the couch we described recommended a leather accompanying reclining and rocking leather recliner and gave us an amazing deal all within about 45 minutes we will be receiving our furniture hopefully by December 1st or in that range thank you so much job well done faith is amazing

My first initial experience was good, staff very friendly and respectful. After leaving the store and attempting to cancel the order things changed drastically. I called to cancel the order received a confirmation number, I was asked to hold, and was transferred to the sales representative that helped us while at the store. I informed the Sales Representative I’ve decided to do something different with the spare bedroom and would like to cancel the order. The sales representative did not want to hear that which I completely understand, but I’m a customer choosing to cancel the order within the 72 hours timeframe. The sales representative was persistent and did not want me to cancel the order, the sales representative suggested putting the order on hold for six months to which it would cancel automatically and wouldn’t impact my credit. I agreed to put the order on hold, 2 weeks later I received a text stating prepare for your delivery to which I responded no furniture should be delivered I cancelled the order. A few days later I received a bill for $160.00 with $2,300.00 pending. I called several times attempting to fix the issues and have the 160.00 waved the store management would not return my calls they pretty much ghosted me. That’s a direct reflection of how this store treats customers. They were happy to have the sale when I cancelled things changed. I would strongly suggest if you shop Ashely Furniture in Fayetteville, NC you’re 100% set on the furniture you purchase. If you attempt to cancel you’ll see the other side of the business that’s not customer friendly, disrespectful, and will leave you hanging. The management team does not care about repeat purchases or customers visiting the store again or giving potential customers good feedback. My neighbor had the same issue with a different Ashely furniture store, seems it’s probably a business practice that’s used when customers attempt to cancel orders UPDATE!!! Ashley furniture contacted me after posting this review, they refunded the cancellation fee and apologized for the inconvenience. Thank you for making things right and fixing the issue!

Prices were good, we purchased a dresser and 2 nightstands, the payment methods were a bit confusing because they showed us a paper with a couple diffrent lengths of payments and the price breakdown but when we put our Info in the computer it only gave us 1 offer with not good intrest rate and was more expensive than the options shown. Otherwise the customer service was nice and the store is organized well, and better prices compared to the 3 other stores we checked that day

I worked with Xavier and he went above and beyond with helping me. I looked at everything and he was helpful to say the least. Will be going back for a new bed frame and mattress. I will also make sure he is there before I go to make sure I work with him especially.

Bought a couch for my daughter on October 1st, and discovered they took it out of my account twice, but are “pending” reimbursement. I don’t understand why they won’t release the funds to reimburse. The couch was over $2,000, so having $4,000 taken out of my account is not okay and to go without that money potentially all weekend is ridiculous. They act like I’m the crazy one for complaining. 🤷‍♀️

If I could give this store ZERO STARS - I certainly would!!!! I work hard for my money….and I will NOT just hand it over to rude, disrespectful people who know little about customer service. I furnished my house with a different company. VOTE WITH YOUR FEET PEOPLE!

Giving a 3 due to delivery only. The furniture is beautiful. The salesperson was wonderful to work with! Delivery not so great although the delivery people themselves were fantastic. The first delivery arrived with some dirty pieces. Not the fault of the delivery personnel as they washed their hands immediately. I refused the dirty pieces. The second delivery, missing pillows. I offered to pick them up at the warehouse and was told no. They have to be FedEx'd. When will they arrive... Unknown. Again not the fault of the delivery drivers as they deliver what is given to them. Very disappointed!

Had an item break that was under warranty. Took 6 months to have two separate third party repairmen show up. Ultimately, they said the item was not repairable and required a replacement. Went through warranty department which identified the item was no longer made and to either accept a credit or find something similar. We went to this Ashley Furniture to look. We ended up ordering a similar item with support of a few staff members. The experience was solid enough. We did have to get another warranty package, which is understandable but kind of annoying. We got told that there wasn’t a shipping estimate due to delays and supply chain issues. We didn’t see this as a big deal until we reached month 6 with no updates. Tried calling store with electronic receipt and information, they claimed that it’s not on record, but I had the paperwork. Then an associate (after being transferred for 2 hours), said they found it, but the item was canceled due to the item being discontinued, annoying but I was relieved. Next I was told I should have a call back with how to proceed in using the original credit… 8 days later after no reply I called again to end up getting the original answer that they can’t find it, and saying it isn’t normal to come in to order a warranty item… This experience has been a mild nightmare. Definitely consider elsewhere for future furniture purchases. I’m likely to reach out to corporate and other actions if I continue to be passed around or ghosted on the matter…

Update to my review. My original review comments, which I have left at the bottom of this post, have not changed. What has changed is that we are unsatisfied with Ashley’s handling of our mattress exchange under their 90-day Comfort Guarantee. Bottom line - we bought a $5,000 medium firmness mattress with the understanding that if we were not comfortable with it in a minimum of 30 nights, we could exchange for the same mattress in the firmness we desired. Our HFC, who was referenced in the original review, specifically told us that the mattress we purchased was available in soft, medium, and firm. When we attempted to exchange for a soft version, we were told it did not come in soft and we would have to either pay an additional $1200 to upgrade or downgrade to a different, lower priced model with no reimbursement. Nobody we spoke with was willing to concede that the HFC with whom we dealt on the day of purchase was responsible for not knowing the availability of the product and presenting incorrect information which led to this and therefore would not work with us to find a reasonable resolution. So, my wife and I are now stuck with a $5000 mattress that we aren’t completely comfortable on. Original review - Very friendly, helpful staff! Our HFC, Michael P., was very cordial and assisted us through the purchase!

I love this store and to think I had decided I didn’t want to to this store. No reason. I have been looking for a table, a kitchen table, and I had gone to all of the furniture stores surrounding me and in surrounding areas and I did not find what I want. I was not opposed to looking at Denver furniture either, but you know it wasn’t a priority All the other places they greeted you but once she told them what what I was looking for, they really didn’t seem interested, and this is not the case when I came to Ashley Holly, a.k.a. Hollywood met me at the door. She walked me around the store pointing out pieces, giving me some advice. She never pushed. She was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me And she was just so pleasant. I do want to say that while I was there I did observe the other employees and I can tell you that every single one of them got the same treatment they were greeted the employees walked around with the perspective client and they engaged And that is worth a lot. I tried to give Ashley Furniture another chance after my last bad experience and they have showed me once again that they have the worst customer service of all time. I ordered a couch on 7/6 and told the salesman I wanted it in the other color, not the one on display, which he acknowledged cause he pointed to the ottoman in the other color so i could see what it was and i said yes so I had assumed he would listen to me. Then i signed the paperwork cause how would I know that the color he selected wasn't the right one without having to look it up on the website. Then a week later something told me to take a look at the paperwork again and realized the color wasn't right when I looked it up on the website. So I called this store and had them fix it which delayed the shipment even more (they never called me back to even tell me they fixed it i had to call them). Now it's 3 days before delivery and they failed to tell me that part of the couch was still on order with no estimated arrival time! Again no communication on this whatsoever what kind of business doesnt communicate order delays? If I hadn't looked at the sales paperwork on the text I got confirming delivery I never would have even known they weren't sending me the whole couch as ordered! Mind you it's a modular couch so youre going to send me the end piece and the middle piece so I have no arm rest on the other side for who knows how long?! And the best they could do was "sorry" after I waited a month for this couch. You're better off going to Rooms To Go because Ashley Furniture will never get it together.

Went to Ashley’s today looking for me a wide deep chest. The person that decided to assist me was Alex. I expressed to him I was just looking. Kevin(Manager) and Alex gave me a great deal. I couldn’t say no too. However, he continue to assist me, was extremely nice and work with me with the price of the furniture that I decided to purchase. When you come, you need to ask for him. He is a very nice in Intelligent young man And Kevin was nice to work with as well.

Sales team was very knowledgeable about their products. I found just what I was looking for on clearance. The whole process was smooth and easy.

I will say that I went into the store expecting it to be overly expensive with high pressure sales. I was pleasantly surprised. Our sales person was Alex. He immediately greeted us and made a connection with my daughter because she was wearing her Rugrats shirt. He asked what we were looking for (a new sleeper sofa) and he showed us every option in the store, and he answered every question we had. He even showed us some dining sets and explained all of our options to fit within our space and our budget. He was very friendly through the whole process, even when challenged with our questions. In the end we decided to buy the new sleeper sofa, and hold off on the dining set, but Alex stayed positive throughout the whole experience. I would definitely recommend Ashley furniture and I would buy from Alex anytime. I also think the couch we chose was comparable in price to the "discount" furniture stores.

We came in right at opening on Sunday, Holly greeted us at the door and asked if we needed help finding something and let us know where to find her if we needed help. We were offered water and lots of patience while my kiddos had to try sit on every single couch. We ended up finding a set we loved and a new bed. Holly was very good at finding us a fair price and setting up delivery.

Kevin De Jesus, one of the managers here at Ashley, was one of the most personable and professional employees I have ever met! He took his time, gave me all the information I needed, and made me laugh. I am very happy with the purchase I made here with him and this Ashley team! I will be back.

If I could rate this zero I would. We purchased furniture in march of 2025 and it’s been broken since we received it. Including seams coming apart. We have called several times, been in contact with their repair department since April waiting for someone to come out and fix it. We haven’t received any call backs, we have been in the store, spoken to managers etc. My father is sick and has seizures, my mother has neuropathy in her feet (she can’t feel them) which makes it very unsafe due to the electrical functions being broken, including the seat being in the reclined position, we are very disappointed and haven’t been taken seriously. I don’t recommend purchasing anything from Ashley furniture especially electrical.

Tiffany has been wonderful helping design a couch configuration that fits on my living room. When I realized the couch pieces I chose were too large, she made changes to my purchase over the phone and never lost patience with me. I appreciate all her help.

My Dad is elderly and was determined; he wanted a new couch. He had been at the Ashley Store earlier in the day, found one he liked and wanted his daughter to see it as well.
