We met Dustin at the door he was super friendly he made sure we wouldn’t be satisfied with what we purchased. He wasn’t super pushy just to make an extra dollar or two and understood our financial situation. He was super helpful and kind. He related to us as best he could and admitted when he couldn’t. Overall an amazing worker we will try to only go through him every time we come!

Walked in with the intention of buying a new dining room table for our house. Walked out furnishing three rooms! In a world of high interest rates it’s hard to not take advantage of 0% financing. The no pressure staff made the experience comfortable and easy. When we were ready to get information about our selections Adrian was ready to help. When it comes time to purchase additional furniture we will be returning.

I know they can be hit and miss, but the in store team I dealt with was great. Dustin and Ashley made sure I got what I wanted and when the price came in higher than he quoted, he discounted it to make it right.

This review is for the Ashley Store in Morganton Rd, Fayetteville NC. My husband and I went there yesterday to look for a sofa set. We were pleasantly greeted by Anna as we enter the store and she mentioned about the sale going on that day. I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Anna in finding the perfect sofa set for our needs. This was such a big store and she was very patient with us and allowed us all the time we need to look around. I did not feel any pressure from her for us to buy from this store. She just checked in with us once in a while to see if we have any questions. In the end, we were able to find the sofa set we wanted. Anna finalized our purchase, explained the delivery process to us, and we were out the store shortly. Buying furnitures in-store has always been a tedious process for me. But with Anna’s help, our experience has been really easy and very pleasant. Thanks Anna!

Placed an order on October 31st, 2024, after they stated they have all the furniture in stock and I'll receive everything in a week. 4 weeks later, 3 canceled delivery calls because they don't have the furniture. Our plan was to have everything delivered by Thanksgiving. Almost $5000.00 in furniture, got a phone call today, November 21st, for the same cancelation and was told they don't know when the furniture will arrive. Great job, Ashley. I'll take my money somewhere else. I just canceled everything.

I’m really disappointed with the way I was treated by your associate, Adrian. I had a store protection credit of $699 that I wanted to use toward a sofa and couch set, financing the remaining balance on my credit card. After discussing it with my husband, we decided to wait. Despite his decision, Adrian kept trying to persuade us. I left the store with plans to return the next day for some home decor. I specifically asked if I would be getting brand new items in their original boxes and she said yes. However, when I returned, Adrian told me I would have to take items from the floor that had scratches and peeling paint. To make matters worse, I was informed I needed to pay an additional $108 out of pocket. I felt frustrated because I had found those same items online for a lower price, and they would have been shipped to me brand new, cost me no additional cost, and left me with some money in my pocket.

Ms Tiffany was very patient and helpful through out my shopping for living room furniture. She gave me some great suggestions. She took her time to find me what I was looking for. Great sales person. Thank you Ms Tiffany. I will be back.

All the staff members were amazing. But, Amiyah was so helpful, patient, and attentive. We also had our two year old and she helped make him feel just as welcomed during our shopping experience. My husband and I have never delt with Ashley's furniture before. They came recommended by our son. The process started off really great. Our sale's man was really great and answered ALL our questions. Since we've never delt with them I asked several times if once the furniture was delivered and for any reason we couldn't use any piece of it could we return it and get a refund or exchange, and the sale's man told us yes each time. We trusted him and took him at his word so we made the purchase. We purchased a sofa,recliner, 2 end tables, and 1coffee table. Once the furniture was delivered we realized we couldn't use the recliner or coffee table. Notified the sale's man who had actually given me his cell number to contact him directly instead of calling the store. This gentleman, by the way his name is Ken Wilcox with the Fayetteville Ashley's store. We text numerous times before we actually made the purchase. Once I contacted Mr. Wilcox and explained everything to him, his story changed. I've texted him twice with NO RESPONSE and I've also spoken with a supervisor with their customer service department and she told me there was nothing they could do. Since I signed for it and there policy states no refunds or returns once the order is delivered and signed for there was nothing they could do. So my reply was it doesn't matter that your employee told me I could get a refund or exchange if I wasn't completely satisfied. As a new customer my husband and I were lied to numerous times and Ashley doesn't care that their employees are lying to customers to make a sale and get commission. I wished I had never done business with Ashley. I have since found out that several people we've spoken with said they had a bad experiences with them also and they wouldn't make good on furniture they had purchased. We've delt with Society Hill in SC for our furniture in the past and we've NEVER had a problem with them. We thought we would give someone else a try. BIG MISTAKE!!! I would NEVER recommend Ashley's to anyone. If you need a good company to deal with for furniture give Society Hill a chance. Family owned and always willing to go the extra mile for a customer. This company also used to sale Ashley furniture but discontinued saling their furniture due to poor customer service and poor quality of products. This says alot!! Jennifer

As soon as I walk through the door, the salesperson that “greeted” me tried to run a hard credit check on my information BEFORE I even showed interest in buying an item. I felt watched and pressured with every step I took throughout the store. Our salesperson didn’t even introduce themselves to my wife and I. While some of the salespeople are knowledgeable, they lack important customer service skills. My wife and I were both VERY uncomfortable. We only stayed for less than 10 minutes before we decided to go to Rooms To Go where we had a much more pleasant experience, and ended up buying our furniture there.

Holly is a great listener who provides excellent service. After almost an entire year of looking, Holly took us right to our first purchase and to view options for our second purchase. I highly recommend talking to Holly about what you're looking for.

This store is trying to scam me out of almost $2000 dollars on a mattress. With their comfort guarantee. That they don't tell you that you must spend the same amount or more on the next mattress, at the time of purchase. But don't have another mattress even close to the price range available. I tried being reasonable to get store credit for the difference instead of trying to get money back. That's not an option either. I would never do business with this company again.

bought the mattress yesterday 8/26. told us it would be delivered today, 8/27. at 6pm today we were told it would be delivered on 8/30!! what’s the point in delivery if it isn’t on time? might as well have a pick up option bc delivery is USELESS. my husband spent $4K on the mattress but if we would’ve read the reviews prior to purchasing we would not have picked this place to buy from. y’all really need to make some improvements on delivery otherwise don’t offer it as an option. i will be incredibly upset if our mattress doesn’t come on time and in perfect condition. my expectations are extremely low after seeing other peoples reviews. smh.

BEFORE YOU EVEN PURCHASE CONSIDER GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR BETTER SERVICES WITH CHEAPER PRICES. I want to start off by stating Holly was amazing! She listened to us, heard our problems with our sleeping and was able to find a mattress that we were able to both enjoy. With me being a soft bed kinda gal and him being a firm bed it felt like we would have to get a split bed but she somehow found one for us. As well helped us get a great deal without breaking our banks!! NOW I want to post the horrors we are dealing with AFTER PURCHASING! First, Javier put a hole in our wall during delivery service and told us to LIE for him and not say anything and promised us he would come fix the hole because he didn't want them to comp the money out of his check. Two days go by and he never showed and he again lied saying "my boss is gonna come by and fix it and he will call you". That same day I called Ashleys and informed them 1. theres a hole in our wall, 2. they dragged the furniture on our top step leaving cardboard and plastic stuck in our railings (leaving us to clean there mess) and 3. the bed was built wrong. The movers decided to place the middle beam under the right side of the bed (this left one side of the mattress higher than the left side causing severe problems). Both me and my partner have health conditions so we paid over $5,000 for this bed so we didn't have issues. We could even sleep in our bed and even after MULTIPLE attempts to try to fix it it still isn't fixed. I contacted Barbara in one of their departments and she stated she would try to help by putting in claims to fixing the bed and ordering the parts Javier didn't place in the bed (that were crucial to the middle beam). After a Second team came out they finally removed the unecessary beam from the right side of the bed and informed us "we still have to wait for the parts to screw the middle beam where it needs to go". Then after getting back and forthed by Dominque I finally got transferred to the manager Mary. Mary seems like she is trying to help but after 3 attempts of this bed still not being fixed properly, still unable to sleep in our bed, still in severe pain whenever we do sleep in the bed due to no middle beam, we just are so sick and tired of the customer service we are dealing with so we are trying to get rid of the whole bed at this point. Today I got Lauren on the phone. In all after expressing I shouldn't talk to her because I didn't want to drag her into something she doesn't know about she still insisted I speak with her. I explained how frustrated I am because this is the third time the movers come to fix the bed and I get told I don't even have the right parts for this bed. She then proceeds to tell me I have 3 separate part orders coming to my house to fix my bed and I got a message stating it'll take 2 weeks to receive these parts. Then proceeds to tell me no returns can be issued and in all tells me all they can do is fix it. Obviously they can't because it has taken a month and I am now having to pay money. I even called to confirm everything was setup for this third party company to fix the damages to my wall and they confirmed. Tell me why when I called the company they told me Ashley's never set a claim so I had to be the one to place the claim. This whole drama has left us frustrated, angry, and extremely disappointed in Ashley's furniture's services. We are now contacting lawyers to sue them for the bed never being properly made in the first, second, or third time, and now us having such severe flair ups thanks to their first mistake. DO NOT SHOP here unless you build everything yourself! After a month, I am still waiting for parts to try AGAIN to fix my bed and from the looks of it I will have to wait till October to sleep in a bed I received in August. As well, they are telling me for compensation I have to wait until the bed is fixed which feels like will never come. The showroom seems all amazing but their internal customer service doesn't feel like they care and will keep coming up with something to cover themselves.

Placed a $4,000 order for a new mattress and bed frame. Delivery was delayed several times, lack of communication from the store. Our delivery finial shows up today and the bed frame is the wrong color. Honestly, do you even care about your customers? Extremely disappointed and deflated, Additionally The mattress they delivered is incorrect as well. Still no response from anyone at the store. Update, I went to the store today 8/24/2024 at 10am. I spoke to Josh the General Manager. He was busy with an event today but assured me they will make it right, and I would hear from him on Monday. Update, no response from Josh the General manager on 8/26 as he promised. I called the store(2:47pm) thinking maybe he got busy and forgot…left a message with Dan. It’s now 8pm…no call. What can I do? Update, my wife received a call from Joanna (customer service representative) we explained the current situation to her. She said the sales representative said we changed the color in order to receive our order faster. That was a complete lie! We provided screenshots of the conversation with the salesperson. ( Holley) thank god the conversations about our order has all been through text. All this is so sketchy, basically it appears that they switched our mattress with a cheaper mattress as well hoping we would not know. Joanna explained it would be 24-48 hours before we would hear back..she needs time to review the order and such. So here we are, the wrong bed frame, a mattress that is wrong and us the customer having to send screenshots in just to get what we paid for. Still no call from Josh, the GM. Management, are you reading this??? Please help…

Ken was the one who help me. He was nice he explained me everything and answered all my questions. I bought an Ashley matress and bed, he said that I need this matress cover for the warranty to cover, well I bought a warranty and the matress cover, ( anyway I was thinking in buying a matress cover anyway) the matress cover is not even Ashley is bedgear. The next day I went to see if I find some pillows (purple), they have it, and they did a price match from the day before for the bed was $100 less directly on the web page. So, those $100 went to the pillow and I only paid $85. Anyway if I go again I will ask for him, but I will check the web page and other places first for prices.

Furniture is nice and the employees were great but the delivery price is way too high and because I wanted the finance option, I couldn't get the sale price advertised. I usually go to Rooms to Go because of the better pricing and cheaper delivery but I got my bed at Ashley and would like the matching set. They wanted almost $400 just for the delivery which is crazy to me.

BEWARE! We went to Ashley’s in hopes of finding new furniture we wanted to purchase. We were greeted at the door by a young lady that told us to look around and when we found something we liked she would come back to us to do the paperwork. We found what we liked and she said come to the counter and we would do the paperwork. We put a down payment and said we weren’t sure of a delivery date and could we call her to get one. She wanted to email our sales paperwork and we requested a hard copy now and it printed out. We left and the next morning reviewed the sales transaction and on the very last page the word “dash” was listed for $699.99 . We. Called to question what dash was and she told us that it was a delivery fee that she had deducted $100 off and she apologized for not telling us that she must have forgot. We took that paper work back to Ashley’s to get a refund but sale lady had already left. When we asked for the refund because we weren’t told of delivery fee the girl at the desk wanted to negotiate price on delivery if we kept the furniture . She did our cancelation but we would have to wait 7-10 days before they could credit us back our deposit. Why this long a time?? We said no as we felt deceived from the beginning. The next day sales girl called and said she was sorry that the delivery fee was done automatically by upper management and she could do nothing about it. Our question is if that is true how could she have taken $100 off in the beginning and how could the girl at the desk want to negotiate a delivery fee if we kept the furniture. We feel we not told about the delivery fee because the price was so high and had we known we would not have shopped there. Very disappointed in sales person and Ashley furniture and will not recommend based on high and non disclosed delivery fees.

We had a wonderful experience with Adrian. We were greeted pleasantly as we walked in the door. She asked if we were looking for anything in particular and when we told her we were just browsing at living room sets, she told us to walk around and she’d check in with us. She checked in a few times but really gave us our space to look around. This was greatly appreciated. We ended up getting a mattress as well because of a promotional deal. The whole process was so easy. We really appreciated Adrian’s input but also her allowing us the time to look around and discuss a big purchase like this. Daniel walked us through some sleep facts and information that would ultimately aid in selecting what mattress was right for us. I strongly discourage you from working with Ashley Furniture of Fayetteville, NC. They seemed very genuine and professional to our face, but all of the paperwork was extremely sketchy and contradicting what we discussed and agreed to on the sales floor. They said one thing to our face but billed us something totally different ($3,000 more). Since my wife missed it at the store, after she got home, I noticed it immediately and demanded a full refund the next day. Ashley Furniture told us they would issue a "full refund," but they shorted us $400. Fortunately we noticed the discrepancy and threatened to chargeback the purchase, which motivated the store to give us the remaining amount as a credit on the renegotiated purchase price of our sale, but only after 3 weeks of fighting and several trips to the store. If you do still work with them because they have an item you love and can't find anywhere else, check every number on your sales invoice, including tax, before signing and at checkout. They initially billed us at a higher tax rate than the NC sales tax rate, billed us amounts that differed from what we negotiated, and even their addition of the numbers on their sales invoice didn't add up properly and were "too confusing to explain" to us. We eventually got them to close out the purchase properly.

Phil and Joshua were exceptional today on our visit. We receive a comprehensive session on the different Temper matresses, allowing us to select the firmness for us. No pressure at all!!! He also showed us the Ashely brand for our guest rooms. They treated us very well!! We will definitely be back! They were awesome! Very professional. And will tell friends about them.

Holly is great. Helpful, patient, and kind. Edit: Paid hundreds of dollars for delivery i had to wait over a week for. Day of delivery they called to say half my couch was damaged so they'll deliver that half, then deliver a replacement other half later today. Then they called back again to tell me they actually won't be delivering at all, won't tell me when it will be delivered, and won't accommodate that I can't take off additional work to receive delivery now that they missed the date I paid for. Extremely bad customer service, avoid this place.

She has assistant me each time we have been there, everyone else we have come across, which has been around 5 others, has been equally amazing and "normal" as I call it. When I say "normal" what I mean is relaxed yet available, and receptive to what our needs are while being jovial and having fun. We were able to take the Queen bed we bought that day home. Got home, was given the wrong footboard. That's not the problem. We call the store told them the problem and we took it back the next day and it was corrected. We were also given the wrong platform legs and they didn't have them to give us that Sunday when we went back. Still no problem, they said, they would call us that Monday so we can pick up in store. We live 35-40 minutes away. The problem starts when Monday came and no phone call all day. I called Tuesday morning and asked about the legs, I was told they had no idea that I still needed anything and would call me back. The call never happened. So hours later I called again asking about legs I need for this queen bed (I only purchased the bed because family is coming in on July 3, which I explained at the time of purchase). Was told the person that can search for the legs was out the store, he would get them when he get back in today and I would get a call to pick them up. Guess what? NO CALL! So it's Wednesday, family will arrive today and I have no bed for them to sleep in, even though I purchased this bed last Saturday. I'm disappointed in Ashley's unprofessionalism related to their stalling tactics. The plan is to go first thing this morning , take the bed back and request a full refund because of merchandise not received in a timely manner. Guess I will be looking for an decent queen air mattress today.

Then it takes a month to get the correct one and the one they gave us had scratches and we were told they will have someone contact us to come out and fix them...still haven't heard back. Overall super poor business.

I have nothing but good things to say about our shopping experience at Ashley Furniture Store. I was assisted by Melinda Brizuela. She greeted us with a smile and a friendly atmosphere. I pretty much knew what I wanted when I got there, and she helped me realize it was the right choice. We got a love seat and sofa at a very reasonable price. I think she is very professional and helped make our choice to go to Ashley's, the right one. Thank you for being a great salesperson Melinda. New review. Post Delivery I was happy to finally get my furniture in late June, but only for a little while. The folks came in and set up my couch. As he was taking pictures of the setup, I heard a loud crash outside. Imagine my dismay when I stepped outside to discover that the clowns that delivered my furniture had allowed their truck to roll into the back of my SUV and pushed it into my wife's car. the individual responsible for this disaster were somewhat uncooperative, but they did stay until the accident investigator was done. The owner of the truck got there before the police, and jumped in the truck to pull something out of the glove compartment, and when I ask him if it was the registration, he informed me that it was the inspection paper, that he refused to show me. The insurance is in the process of getting my car fixed, but Ashley has yet to reach out to me in the slightest way. I am not at all happy with this situation, and I am sadden that I spent good money to bring this misery upon myself.

We came in for a sofa, recliner and tables, not really knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by Ken's attention to detail and the flexibility in mixing and matching at Ashley. Thank you Ken!!

I am generally tempted to steer clear of furniture stores unless absolutely necessary because of the overwhelming, even stifling presence of some of the salespeople. BUT, we were fortunate to meet Holly at Ashley Furniture in Fayetteville, and she was a breath of fresh air! Holly is kind, attentive, and pleasant, and she did an amazing job showing us around and answering our questions without making us feel like we were being stalked. Walked in and was greeted by the very sweet, very friendly Holly. She helped me get everything set up super quickly so I could walk around and find something I would like with ease. I’ve been a customer of Ashley Furniture for years; but our most recent experience was even better than normal. We came in and met Amirah, who felt more like a friend than a sales person. She listened and remembered everything we said so well. We didn’t purchase that day, but she texted me pictures and descriptions of a new set a few days later, because she knew it fit our needs/wants. She wasn’t pushy, had great communication skills, and even continued being helpful after the sale. She made sure I loved everything, and even sent me inspiration pics to help me style my new living room furniture. Not to mention how patient she was with my son being a wild child at times. 😂 Ashley, give this girl a promotion💕 Ps, if you’re looking for a comfy, leather set- I recommend the Lombardia. It’s soft, plush, and has cushions that can be rearranged. Top grain leather- & kid/pet friendly. 🐾

What ever you do please don't get the cloud sectional within 2 weeks we started having feathers coming out of our sectional and we payed for a 1500 dollar extended warranty and there telling me there is nothing they can do will not shop ashley again

Ken help us find the best couch and mattress

Had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. Mike was a great salesperson-showed us what we asked for and didn't try to add on things I didn't want to buy. I still wanted to shop at a few other stores before I made my final decision-but then came back the same day and worked with Mike and bought the bed I wanted. It was pouring rain when we were done and Mike had an umbrella and got drenched walking my 80 year old mother to the car. He definitely went above and beyond for us that day.

Ken was very knowledgeable and super helpful! I was very indecisive, but he was very patient and helped me narrow down my choices so I could make a decision.
