Horrible assistance when a problem comes up. They never want to reimburse any money for any mistake they make. Their bank for credit cards suck and they’re too difficult to work with when the furniture mid.

The only issues I have with Ashley Furniture is when you purchase items over $1,000, they should have a free delivery or have it shipped to the store so you can picked up item for free, instead of having no choice but to pay for delivery or drive 1.5 hours to pick up your furnitures that you pay so much money for. My husband has a truck so why would we paid an extra $169 plus tax for delivery or drive 1.5 hours. Nonsense

My husband and I went into Ashley looking for a reclining sofa we had seen online. We met Phil. He was so nice. We explained that we were looking for the reclining sofa we had seen on the website. I showed Phil the picture. He told us the sofa was on sale and the floor model had been sold, but, he would be glad to order it for us. We did look at some other sofas while we were there, but we did end up ordering the one we came for. Phil helped us so much. He was very knowledgable about all the diff sofas in the store. We'll def be going back to Ashley for any of our furniture needs. If you go, make sure you ask for Phil.

Walking into Ashely’s and being greeted by Adrien put me at ease. Not only because she obviously greeted us but because she wasn’t hovering over our every move. Nothing felt forced. She wasn’t hovering respectful and kind and very knowledgeable answering every questions we had. I dislike shopping and having a sales person follow me or keep coming up to me or being pushy and Adrian was none of that which is what led us to actually purchase a few items. Delivery was very easy and she stayed on top of everything making sure it all went smoothly. I even purchased a piece of furniture with her over text and even that was a breeze. We had been shopping around for new furniture and almost passed up Ashley Furniture because we thought it was overpriced. Charged me $300 for delivery, gave me a delivery date almost a month away. I had to take a day off work to be there for delivery, and a few days before delivery they say they won’t be able to have it that day and they will let me know. You had almost a month to figure it out. Unacceptable when charging $300!

Phil was great! He was there if i needed him, but not pushy and following me like a puppy. He heard what I wanted, was able to get all the information I needed on anythng I looked at. He found me options I didnt know we're there which turned out great. I would recommend him, and will look for him with any other furniture needs.

Sincerely, the best furniture shopping experience we’ve ever had. We explained to Ken what we were looking for and he didn’t waste our time rambling around the store. Ken retrieved the store provided wheelchair for my disabled husband and began showing us sofas and recliners that met our desires and lifestyle. He aided in making certain the pieces were aesthetically pleasing together and that the dimensions would work for our space. His knowledge of the products, communication, attention to our needs and friendly personality made him a joy to work with. I would like to thank Amirah at the Fayetteville Ashley store location for the professional service she provided. Her commitment to customer satisfaction was wonderful. She helped in switching chairs, pillows, ottomans to allow for material/color viewing with different furniture sets Which allowed us to visualize what our space would look like. She allowed time for us to browse without multiple interruptions but was there to answer any questions. For those who need a little help with styling and decor she is wonderful. The other staff were friendly and the store was clean and set up with a nice flow.

Outstanding service. My husband and I had gone to a few furniture stores in the area before and after visiting Ashley. The first time we visited, Phil was our Sales Associate and he was very welcoming, upfront and knowledgeable . He did not hover over us as we took our time to look through the store. A month or so went by and we returned to Ashley’s and was greeted by Phil again, we still was hesitant with fully committing so it took us a couple of days when we returned and asked for Phill to seal the deal!! We appreciated the patience, the understanding and the prompt service and delivery we received. REDACTION: I'd like to start by saying that the furniture is not the issue, all the furniture we bought exactly fit our needs. That being said, we had some major issues beginning with cost reflection, lack of accurate information, salesman integrity, unprofessional delivery, lack of managerial concern in regards to employee and company integrity and a severe lack in accountability. We did get our issues resolved after several days of wasted time at the store, and we were eventually routed to call customer care. My husband spoke with a very nice lady (Unfortunately I don't have her name) assisted him in resolving the situation. It seemed as though Ken and Lauren (the general store manager) were more concerned with pulling the wool over our eyes to acknowledge the reality of the situation. This particular store with its fraudulent and asinine sales tactics were a glorified Rent-a-Center. We will still purchase Ashley Furniture however we will be viewing the items at the store then ordering it directly from the website. Ken and Amanda did an amazing job. Ken helped us with all questions and options. We appreciate all the great customer service. Thank you guys!

Awful, don’t buy from them! Got the insurance and everything unfortunately they stopped selling my couch offered me a replacement for mine. Asked if they will remove original couch when new one comes in. Was told no and had to remove the couch prior to delivery or they wouldn’t be able to deliver it. Told me to contact habitat of humanity to remove the couch. I followed the directions now I’m being told it was supposed to be an exchange and refuse to deliver my couch. I’m out 160 bucks for couch. And now I can’t get anyone on the phone.

The moment I walked in the store, Ken introduced himself and instead of doing like regular salesmen and just immediately trying to sell me something, he asked what my needs were. Told him I was looking for a bed and he took me down the rabbit hole of beds, not once telling me I needed to buy this one vs that one, never once judging my appearance and trying to usher me towards the cheaper stuff. He treated me as a friend, gave me solid information on the products, not rehearsed information as if he sold the same thing for years and was just trying to get me out the door. But genuinely good information from self use of the product. Walked me through all the paperwork, made sure I got the package I felt good about, not pushing me toward another package to just get more money out of me. Ken was a kind hearted soul, and it was a pleasure doing business with Ken at Ashley Store in Fayetteville.

We have had nothing but a horrible experience from our purchases from Ashley furniture. From couch and recliner, degradation and issues with installation, and most importantly our big purchase which involved a Tempur-Pedic foundation and mattress. The company that installed our foundation for our Tempur-Pedic mattress did not install the support beam correctly. In fact, they miss one on the left side and it caused sagging of our mattress over the first 2 years. After multiple visits they finally realized that it was their fault on the installation and we were told then that the mattress integrity was no longer valid because it was not properly supported for at least 2 years. We were given the replacement for the foundation, and we were also given a credit to change out our mattress. Unfortunately this was during covid, there was job loss, I was out on maternity leave for our child and we were unable to pay the small $200 fee at the time for the delivery that we were unaware of. That was my fault for not reading the fine print, but point being it just wasn't feasible at the time. We have tried twice now since then and now we are getting denied because they feel like they can see staining on the mattress itself. Although we have always used a mattress protector that was also purchased through Ashley furniture. You can see the mattress in person is pristine. It is the mattress protector that has stains. But my point being, Tempur-Pedic clearly stated that it was their fault from installation and we deserve to have a new mattress. But now that we are trying to go back years later and get this taken care of after I have just had a spinal fusion surgery resulting from rapid progression of my disease. Since the use of this mattress, they continue to deny my claim and will not honor their original replacement. I will never ever spend another dollar with Ashley furniture or Tempur-Pedic due to sat. Horrible customer service and lack of care for customers. This is bad business, especially from such large companies. What a letdown. I have receipts to follow any and all of this information if anybody feels like helping. Which I'm sure you won't or it would have already been taken care of.

I purchased a power lift chair. My sister sat in six chairs in the Fayetteville area. She said this one was the most comfortable by far. Holly was excellent in her advice and she was not pushy at all. She explained the fabric, mechanisms and warranty. Thank you for a great experience and great price

I went to Ashley furniture store off of Skibo road next to Staples. Tiffany was my sells associate. She was very polite, nice, helpful and knowledgeable of the products. I didnt really know what I waited, yet had the basic idea what I needed my livingroom set to have. She lisson very well and let me know what all you had in stock that would fit my needs. When I found a set I liked , she worked hard to get me all the discounts and promotions she could to save me much money as possible. I enjoyed my time with her. We sat and talked like we was friends that knew each other for years. She did not rush me. She didnt walk off , or act as if I was wasting her time. I actually come 2 times before I decided to buy the living room furniture. Truthfully I loved the set , but what really made me go a head and by it was talking with Tiffany and feeling comfortable that I was getting the best deal I could. We are in the middle of remodeling our home so we was only out and about window shopping. We can not even do anything with the furniture right now. Tiffany has it put on hold for us until we are ready for it to be delivered. The best part is... we didnt even have to pay anything until my order is delivered. 🤗 We will be back to get the rest of the stuff I need for the house after it gets finshed remodeled. Kevin at Ashley is one of the best furniture salesmen I’ve come in contact with. This guy knew everything about every piece in store. He did several eye opening test, to prove the quality of the product. He was extremely patient, and not pushy. He’s an example all in his field should follow.

I am very indecisive and take way too long (probably 4 hours each visit) to make a decision. Faith (for our first visit) and Phil (for our second visit) were absolutely amazing!!!!! They both took their time explaining pros and cons of each item we were considering. Prices may be a little higher than other places but quality and customer service definitely make up for it. We will be back next time we need furniture!

Recently I sat behind a gentleman at this store who was paying hundreds of dollars in coins (for who knows what conceivable reason). The service throughout was great, so however obnoxious this fellow shopper was intent on being, I waited patiently to make a purchase. And wouldn’t you know? After all that counting, it was still customer service with a smile 🥲 You love to see it.

10/10 recommend Alexander.. he took us through the store to show up rocker/glider options and once he heard it was for a nursery he knew exactly which chair would be the perfect fit and he was right.. he was not pushy like a lot of furniture stores salesmen and was personable to make the entire experience great.

My experience in store today was great! Anna listened to my unique situation and found me two sectionals and recliner for my home that's easy to clean and "oops" resistant. She was also able to be lower than my quoted prices from other stores that sell Ashley Furniture, for the exact same sectional and slightly upgraded sectional.

I was greeted by Tiffany right away. I told her that I was looking for living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture. She asked me about my style and color preferences before showing me pieces. When helping me decide on a dining room set we walked through the whole store discussing which pieces would fit best. I really enjoyed getting a second opinion since I struggle with decorating interiors and really understanding how pieces can make or break a room. She was very helpful, kind, and professional. When I need more furniture, I will be returning. UPDATE: While the shopping experience was great the delivery and everything after was a disaster. 1. The sleeper sofa didn't pull out so I called Ashley. Originally, I was told someone would be able to come out and see the couch. But no one did and instead I was asked to send them a video through email and my thoughts on what was wrong. They assumed a part was broken and ordered it based on my email. Keep in mind, I had no clue what was actually wrong and in the video all you can see is that the couch doesn't pull out. You can't see any of the actual mechanisms. No one checked the sofa and no explanation was provided after that. 2. I was told the part would ship within 7-10 days. About 2 weeks after the order date, I called to let them know I hadn't gotten any more shipping information, nor had the part been delivered. They told me to wait a couple days, it's probably delayed. It wasn't. The part was on back order, and no one told me. I had to call back again to ask what was going on with my order. They had no idea when the part would get to the warehouse and no estimated time to fix the couch. I told them that my frustration was not with the fact that the part was on back order but that they didn't even inform me about the issue as the weeks went on and I was waiting around for this. They continued to say the issue would be fixed quickly all while knowing the part was never on its way. They promised to call with an update when the part came in. They didn't. They didn't call when it came in, in fact I called them again, a couple weeks after that. Now that it was in, they were supposed to schedule me for delivery and fixing the couch. They didn't have any openings yet but once again promised to call me when they had openings available. I told them I didn't trust that statement and I was right not to. I called a week later to find out that there were openings, and they were able to schedule me. 3. I finally have a scheduled date of delivery for the part that would fix my couch. They schedule me in the middle of the day. I take time off work to be home for this. The repairmen show up and tell me that Ashley never told them they needed to pick up a part. So, they didn't even have the part that Ashley ordered for me, that was on back order and was absolutely necessary to fix the couch issue. But they were wrong again, the repairmen still looked at the couch and was able to fix it because no part was missing or broken. It was simply jammed due to how Ashley had packed the couch to be delivered. All of this could have been avoided if they had simply sent out a repairman when I originally called to look at the couch. They wasted my time, ordered unnecessary parts, made countless promises that they didn't keep, and lost a customer. I will not purchase from Ashley again. The delivery and experience of trying to get a simple fix was so time-consuming, so draining for me that it has put a bad taste in my mouth regarding purchasing anything from Ashley again. Two months after delivery, I finally have a working sleeper sofa.

She was very hospitable and even though we didn’t make a final decision to purchase, she was very understanding and flexible to give us every opportunity to make the best choice for us. However, when I contacted Fortiva, I was informed that the address could not be changed and that my furniture and bills would still be sent to my old address. I believe this situation shows a lack of professionalism and communication between the store and Fortiva. My first initial experience was good, staff very friendly and respectful. After leaving the store and attempting to cancel the order things changed drastically. I called to cancel the order received a confirmation number, I was asked to hold, and was transferred to the sales representative that helped us while at the store. I informed the Sales Representative I’ve decided to do something different with the spare bedroom and would like to cancel the order. The sales representative did not want to hear that which I completely understand, but I’m a customer choosing to cancel the order within the 72 hours timeframe. The sales representative was persistent and did not want me to cancel the order, the sales representative suggested putting the order on hold for six months to which it would cancel automatically and wouldn’t impact my credit. I agreed to put the order on hold, 2 weeks later I received a text stating prepare for your delivery to which I responded no furniture should be delivered I cancelled the order. A few days later I received a bill for $160.00 with $2,300.00 pending. I called several times attempting to fix the issues and have the 160.00 waved the store management would not return my calls they pretty much ghosted me. That’s a direct reflection of how this store treats customers. They were happy to have the sale when I cancelled things changed. I would strongly suggest if you shop Ashely Furniture in Fayetteville, NC you’re 100% set on the furniture you purchase. If you attempt to cancel you’ll see the other side of the business that’s not customer friendly, disrespectful, and will leave you hanging. The management team does not care about repeat purchases or customers visiting the store again or giving potential customers good feedback. My neighbor had the same issue with a different Ashely furniture store, seems it’s probably a business practice that’s used when customers attempt to cancel orders UPDATE!!! Ashley furniture contacted me after posting this review, they refunded the cancellation fee and apologized for the inconvenience. Thank you for making things right and fixing the issue!

Prices were good, we purchased a dresser and 2 nightstands, the payment methods were a bit confusing because they showed us a paper with a couple diffrent lengths of payments and the price breakdown but when we put our Info in the computer it only gave us 1 offer with not good intrest rate and was more expensive than the options shown. Otherwise the customer service was nice and the store is organized well, and better prices compared to the 3 other stores we checked that day

Bought a couch for my daughter on October 1st, and discovered they took it out of my account twice, but are “pending” reimbursement. I don’t understand why they won’t release the funds to reimburse. The couch was over $2,000, so having $4,000 taken out of my account is not okay and to go without that money potentially all weekend is ridiculous. They act like I’m the crazy one for complaining. 🤷‍♀️

If I could give this store ZERO STARS - I certainly would!!!! I work hard for my money….and I will NOT just hand it over to rude, disrespectful people who know little about customer service. I furnished my house with a different company. VOTE WITH YOUR FEET PEOPLE!

Giving a 3 due to delivery only. The furniture is beautiful. The salesperson was wonderful to work with! Delivery not so great although the delivery people themselves were fantastic. The first delivery arrived with some dirty pieces. Not the fault of the delivery personnel as they washed their hands immediately. I refused the dirty pieces. The second delivery, missing pillows. I offered to pick them up at the warehouse and was told no. They have to be FedEx'd. When will they arrive... Unknown. Again not the fault of the delivery drivers as they deliver what is given to them. Very disappointed!

Had an item break that was under warranty. Took 6 months to have two separate third party repairmen show up. Ultimately, they said the item was not repairable and required a replacement. Went through warranty department which identified the item was no longer made and to either accept a credit or find something similar. We went to this Ashley Furniture to look. We ended up ordering a similar item with support of a few staff members. The experience was solid enough. We did have to get another warranty package, which is understandable but kind of annoying. We got told that there wasn’t a shipping estimate due to delays and supply chain issues. We didn’t see this as a big deal until we reached month 6 with no updates. Tried calling store with electronic receipt and information, they claimed that it’s not on record, but I had the paperwork. Then an associate (after being transferred for 2 hours), said they found it, but the item was canceled due to the item being discontinued, annoying but I was relieved. Next I was told I should have a call back with how to proceed in using the original credit… 8 days later after no reply I called again to end up getting the original answer that they can’t find it, and saying it isn’t normal to come in to order a warranty item… This experience has been a mild nightmare. Definitely consider elsewhere for future furniture purchases. I’m likely to reach out to corporate and other actions if I continue to be passed around or ghosted on the matter…

Update to my review. My original review comments, which I have left at the bottom of this post, have not changed. What has changed is that we are unsatisfied with Ashley’s handling of our mattress exchange under their 90-day Comfort Guarantee. Bottom line - we bought a $5,000 medium firmness mattress with the understanding that if we were not comfortable with it in a minimum of 30 nights, we could exchange for the same mattress in the firmness we desired. Our HFC, who was referenced in the original review, specifically told us that the mattress we purchased was available in soft, medium, and firm. When we attempted to exchange for a soft version, we were told it did not come in soft and we would have to either pay an additional $1200 to upgrade or downgrade to a different, lower priced model with no reimbursement. Nobody we spoke with was willing to concede that the HFC with whom we dealt on the day of purchase was responsible for not knowing the availability of the product and presenting incorrect information which led to this and therefore would not work with us to find a reasonable resolution. So, my wife and I are now stuck with a $5000 mattress that we aren’t completely comfortable on. Original review - Very friendly, helpful staff! Our HFC, Michael P., was very cordial and assisted us through the purchase!

I love this store and to think I had decided I didn’t want to to this store. No reason. I have been looking for a table, a kitchen table, and I had gone to all of the furniture stores surrounding me and in surrounding areas and I did not find what I want. I was not opposed to looking at Denver furniture either, but you know it wasn’t a priority All the other places they greeted you but once she told them what what I was looking for, they really didn’t seem interested, and this is not the case when I came to Ashley Holly, a.k.a. Hollywood met me at the door. She walked me around the store pointing out pieces, giving me some advice. She never pushed. She was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me And she was just so pleasant. I do want to say that while I was there I did observe the other employees and I can tell you that every single one of them got the same treatment they were greeted the employees walked around with the perspective client and they engaged And that is worth a lot.
