Went a couple of weeks ago to look at living room sets. Met with Ebony, we saw a set we liked and she gave us all the information on it to take home and help make a decision. She was not pushy at all. Went back today and purchased it with Ebony’s assistance. She was knowledgeable and made the process to purchase and set up a delivery date as easy as possible.

Margo is my bestie, because she loves Creed. Eric was very friendly and knowledgeable when I bought my furniture. Great experience. Would recommend to others. ♡

We had a wonderful experience today at your store in Gastonia. England greeted us as soon as we entered the building and guided us through our entire experience. She is a super salesperson who made everything feel personal and welcoming. We truly appreciated her professionalism and warmth. We are looking forward to enjoying our new furniture!

Upon entering the store we were approached by Keith Henderson, who asked what we were looking for. He then pointed out the areas within the store that had a selection of sectionals to choose from. That was the last that we saw of him until he could see that we’d zeroed in on a particular sectional. He answered all of our questions without making us feel pressured to purchase what we were looking at. He was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process, which ended with the purchase of a new sectional. We will visit this store again when the need arises.

I came to Ashley Furniture in Gastonia NC today and had a wonderful experience! I was looking for a mattress for my grandson. When I arrived Aziz met us at the front door and ask if he could help me! Aziz was AWESOME and I am so thankful he helped us today! He was a HUGE help in making my experience successful! He was polite, helpful, and very respectful! my plan was to visit three furniture stores today. my first stop was ASHLEY FURNITURE, Lowell, NC. i walked in, AZIZ greeted me, asked me one question..i answered. he then gave me space. Aziz was never out of sight; i appreciated that, as i did have tons of questions. It was nice to not have to search for him. I went to the local Ashley store today to purchase a mattress and box spring. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. I was going to get the same brand I bought before. The salesman (Aziz) showed me a variety of mattresses in all price ranges. He listened to what I told him I liked about my current mattress and he made suggestions to me to try several others mattresses they had in the store. I finally decided on a Stearns and Foster which is not what I thought I wanted when I walked in the store. I like that he did not pressure me into any certain brand or specific price range. Aziz let me try all the mattresses until I decided which was the correct mattress for me. He didn’t mind when I told him we were going to go look at another local store. Still no high pressure to close the sale before I walked out of the store. He did however send me a nice text after we left the store. I appreciated the text and that made it easy to communicate with him when I wanted to check on some measurements I had a question about. After stopping at two other stores I still liked the original mattress that I picked out at Ashley. We went back to see our salesman (Aziz) and purchased the box spring and mattress. I recommend visiting the Gastonia Ashley and ask Aziz to help you find your current furniture needs.

Wonderful customer service! We went and Quinsi showed us all the options we were interested in but he didnt hover over us like most sales people tend to do and he made sure we got all the deals. They have amazing deals right now on beds!!! The whole process was easy and fast.

Overall, everything was good. We already knew that we wanted to get a reclining sofa, we were greeted and given the time and space to make our decision. Our sales person was always close by but gave us the space. He did a great job of telling us about the deals and we left with a new sofa and table and very happy

Couldn’t recommend this store more! We recently moved and were in need of new living room furniture. After searching multiple discount/bargain furniture stores nearby, we decided to give Ashley’s a shot. Immediately greeted by Aziz and he left us to explore without feeling like we were being hovered on. Once we found a set we liked, he helped us through the whole process. The living room set ended up being recently discontinued and unavailable for delivery or order. However, he helped us navigate being able to purchase the set on the display floor with a clearance discount and still with the included 5 year warranty. Aziz was so professional, and helped us get what we wanted and more with no hassle or need for bargaining. We will absolutely trust Ashley Furniture in Gastonia again, for future furniture needs. 10/10 recommend!!

Eric, an Ashley associate, went above and beyond to help me. I purchased the Lombardia leather sofa in the Tumbleweed color online. When I went to purchase additional pieces I discovered that it was out of stock. I contacted a local Ashley store looking for the chair in Tumbleweed color but only one store had it on the showroom floor. I knew I had to act fast! Eric was very friendly and professional. With his help, I was able to purchase the LAST chair and ottoman in Tumbleweed color. I'm very happy with my experience. Eric deserves a promotion!

My husband and I were in the market for a new sofa. We went to the Ashley Store in Gastonia. We were initially greeted by Keith Henderson and I let him know that we were just looking. I appreciated that he respected that and let us look around without feeling pressured. We did find a sofa that we liked at a very good price and decided to purchase it. Keith was very helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to (No high pressure sales tactics!). Because of that and their prices, we will be back to Ashley in a few weeks to purchase a few more pieces from Keith.

This review should not stop anyone from shopping here. I walked in to window shop, I was met by an assistant who seemed helpful, I knew my budget (I dont want to fall in the trap of living above my means) and what I needed, I saw afew items I could afford but was undecided on whether to buy everything at once and save on delivery fee or buy as i go. The assistant helping me who kept checking constantly to see if i needed to purchase items seemed to be probably hopeful i would buy something, but when i changed my mind last minute for reasons known to me (i wanted to go home and make sure the bed measurements from the store would fit my room) the assistant showed his frustrastion, thats a no no in business🥰. I mean, i came to window shop, not promise to purchase, that discouraged me and i thought to myself, should i just go shop somewhere and be assisted by someone who would be happy whether i bought or not. Anyways i went home and realised the beds i was looking at would be too tight for the bedroom, glad i didn't make that purchase, I went back same day and hoped i wouldnt see that assistant and if I sae him and he approached to assist, I would have politely declined his help. Glad, i didnt but he probably sent his colleague. Thats how I met Keith, he came over and helped me, noticing that i had earlier been at the store. He assisted me without making me feel like i had to make a purchase, he spoke to me as if he was speaking to a friend, family,i was relaxed, I ended up buying a bed though it was one month away till delivery. See, who you hire can make or break your business. So hope all sales people can learn a thing or two on how Keith approaches shoppers, he is of value to any business because of his approach. Again,just an observation during my small experience. I would shop again. I ended up purchasing a bed only, the rest of the furniture, I found better affordable prices for sturdy furniture at nearby stores. 🥰

We have owned several pieces of furniture from Ashley. This latest experience was less than stellar. I went into the store to pick out a couch. The salesman Dwayne, was very nice and helpful. However, the way that the online system is set up, he accidentally ordered the wrong color couch because only item numbers were visible to him. The wrong color was delivered to my house. My husband was there and was not sure of the color as it was a different shade of brown. When calling the corporate office, they were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. They implied that it was my fault and "buyer's remorse" that I didn't want the couch that was delivered. They initially offered me $150 for the mix-up. It took a lot of work to get them to exchange it for the correct color. Seth, the manager, was helpful but still implied that it was my fault. I was disappointed to be treated this way as a long-time customer of Ashley.

England was knowledgeable and very friendly. She wanted specific details of the living room layout to assist us with our purchase. If she is working when you’re there, I would suggest asking for her by name!! Great experience at Ashley as always!

By far the worst experience I have had from a retailer. Customer service to complete sale is great, after that has been a complete nightmare. Spent 15000 on two rooms. The promotion came with a promotion of 2 pillows. When my wife returned to get the pillows she was only given 1 in a box and was assured there were 2. She returned to get the other pillow and was told the offer was for only 1 pillow as it was a $200 pillow. I have called customer service 3 times asking to speak to the manager of the store. I have spoken with the CSA and assistant manager who assured me they would have him return the call as well as 3 calls to customer service but every time he was unavailable but I was told they would send him an email to give me a call. This is ridiculous that we are having this issue after spending over 15000 dollars at the gastonia nc store we can not get this resolved and the manager can not return a phone call to resolve this matter.

We have bought all of our furniture through the years at Ashley of Gastonia. We were in need of a new living room set and stopped in on Friday to get ideas. Quinsi was awesome. He is clearly well versed in the products and gave us a ton of helpful info as we shopped. We were very undecided and didnt make a purchase that day, but he told us to come back today for a great sales deal. We made our way back to the store today having made a decision on what we wanted. We were happy to see Quinsi was on the sales floor today. He helped us make a seamless purchase and got us the best deal on this new furniture set. We were in and out in well under an hour. We have some other upcoming furniture needs. We will definitely be back and hope to work with Quinsi again!

Don't. That's all I can say. The sales team is great. It's the quality of the furniture and the after delivery issues. It took me three months to get my bed correct. Now I thought it was complete and I still have an issue. I sent another email and it was blocked. I'm so disappointed with Ashley's treatment.

I was greeted as I walked in. The associate as if I needed assistance with trying to find an item. I told him what I was looking for. He directed me to the area where I was needed to look. He said he would check back with me to see if I needed anything else. I went to the area where bedroom furniture was located or specifically what I had seen on line. He came over and gave me more details on it which was helpful. I asked about the pricing and everything. He prepared my paperwork and explained everything in detail. It made shopping more easy for me.

Don't buy furniture here not the best quality. Bought a 7 piece dining set and when they came, most of the chairs were uneven. Called and they said there would fix it but need to order parts. This started in April and we are now in June and they still have not fixed them. No customer service just a text at random that they are working on ordering the parts. This is so unprofessional and an inconvenient to sit at the table with uneven chair legs. Its unsafe! Ashley's will take your money real quick but won't rush to help customer at least be satisfied with what we paid for.

When I walked into the store I had an idea about what I wanted, but Ebony was incredibly patient and kind from the start. She took the time to listen, asked good questions, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. It felt like I was shopping with a really knowledgeable friend who just wanted to help. Bought a couch with warranty so as told by the sale person” if the couch gets dirty, they will come and clean it up” , this is false. Do not get the warranty the sales person is just trying to get you to spend more money bc my couch did get some stains due to a toddler and the warranty does not cover that. Paid $500 for nothing.

He had great ideas that I hadn't thought of and didn't rush me to make a sale. I definitely recommend going to the store to see things in person. I almost bought my furniture online without seeing it first. Once in the store, I realized what I had originally thought I wanted would be way too big for my space. Sadly, the big sectional tik tok told me I needed was not meant to be. We purchased a bed and box springs. Our sales associate Aziz was wonderful, Knowledgeable and helpful. I would have given a 5 star review except the store's computer system wasn't working well enough to print me a "paid in full receipt" and I left the store with a transaction detail showing that I owed $770.00, when it had been paid in full and there was a zero balance. I was assured the office manager would email me a paid in full receipt which I have yet to receive. My bank confirmed the purchase at Ashley, but I still expect a paid receipt from the store. Otherwise, how would I file a warranty claim (which was also purchased and paid in full) in case of an issue. I will give it another day or so before I start to complain. Janet Ratchford

I was absolutely blown away with her suggestions, product knowledge, and extremely fun demeanor! We were able to nail down the right sleeper sofa and even some counter stools. Ebony lifted a lot of stress off my shoulders lining me up with the right furniture/protections and evening adjusting delivery to my hectic schedule for extra peace of my mind. Definitely enjoyed the effortless shopping process and highly recommend giving Ebony a visit if you’re in need of something new.

Lots of empty promises. Bait and switch on delivery. Will schedule you in the store then delay over and over once you’ve purchased. Also received damaged materials. Poor logistics management. Still in the battle with customer service about the damaged materials delivered. “Everything is under warranty” diamond care package. Still waiting on pierces of a set, been 2 months. No mention of delay during sale.

I recently purchased a home and was excited to buy new furniture. As soon as my mom and I walked into Ashley Furniture, we were warmly greeted by Quinsi. He was absolutely amazing! He guided us through the showroom with great attention to our needs and preferences. He even took the time to help my mom test mattresses until she found the perfect one! Quinsi’s knowledge and helpfulness made it easy for us to make decisions about living room furniture, bedroom sets, office desks—essentially everything we needed to furnish our home. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, but I have to give a special shoutout to Quinsi for going above and beyond! I’ll share a picture once my home is fully transformed with my new purchases from Ashley Furniture. A very satisfied customer!

While I typically shop for furniture at locally owned furniture stores, I have searched for living room furniture for months with no luck. My husband and I decided to see what Ashley’s had to offer and were able to find our DREAM couch!! We are so thankful for Stephanie and her dedication with finding exactly what we were looking for.
