I want to start by saying that our experience with Ashley Furniture had some very positive elements—but also some serious concerns that need to be addressed. Sam Moorer, our sales representative, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to walk us through the products without pressure. He clearly understands the furniture and made the in-store experience enjoyable. Based on his service alone, we felt confident in our purchase. However, the issue came with delivery expectations. We were told our couch would be delivered on March 27, which played a major role in our decision to move forward. On the very day it was supposed to arrive, the delivery date was suddenly pushed to April 8—with no prior communication. That lack of transparency is a problem. When a company sets expectations and fails to meet them—especially without notifying the customer—it raises concerns about integrity. It makes the situation feel less like an honest mistake and more like information was adjusted to secure the sale. This is where leadership needs to step in. Jason, as the manager, should be proactively reaching out to customers when there are delays or changes. Communication shouldn’t stop once the sale is complete. Additionally, Sheranda, as the assistant manager, should be working alongside Jason to ensure these situations are handled properly. That includes following up on delivery timelines, verifying accurate information is given to customers, and making sure any issues are addressed before they escalate. Strong leadership means accountability at every level. At a minimum: • Customers should be notified immediately of any delivery changes • Delivery fees should be reconsidered or waived when commitments aren’t met • Management should take ownership and communicate directly Integrity matters. Communication matters. And honoring what was promised matters. Right now, it feels like the service after the sale doesn’t match the quality of the experience in the store—which is disappointing.

We shop around but somehow we always end up buying our furniture from Ashley Furniture. Our latest need was new mattresses. Gracie Shelton and Sheranda Searcy took great care of us on this visit and set us up with everything we needed at a great price, even looped us in with some special pricing and deals that made us happy. Job very well done, thank you. In our previous visits, Omar Oukour and Yakima Jacobs took great care of us as well. Thank you.

I highly recommend Ashley. They have a great selection and the customer service was exceptional. Hank Harwell and Sheranda Searcy were very helpful and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase and buying experience.

Will not be buying another item from Ashley. If you're financing with Acima, they will try to sell you on financing to get a discount but you'll end up paying that discount right back to Acima because they don't tell you that when you choose to pay off your account early, like they promote, they will charge you for that.

I just bought a new modular sectional sofa in a soft neutral fabric, along with a matching oversized ottoman and a pair of sleek wooden end tables at the store to refresh my living room. The furniture hasn't arrived home yet, but the in-person buying experience was fantastic! The showroom displays were beautiful – I could sit on the sofa, feel the fabric, and see how the oversized ottoman and end tables coordinated perfectly. Sam was super helpful: answered all my questions, offered great suggestions, and even helped me visualize the setup in my space. The purchase process was quick and easy – fair pricing, clear details on delivery, and no pressure. Everything felt professional and welcoming. Can't wait for delivery and setup! I don’t usually write reviews but today I felt compelled to. I went into Ashley just to browse to clear my mind as well as look for furniture for a new place. I eventually found a cute vase that I wanted and an associate took it to the front to wait for me while I kept browsing. When I was ready to check out, I asked if I could please use me $4 in cash as I normally don’t carry cash and I just wanted to get rid out of it. I recently lost a loved one and I am going through the grieving process and a friend of mine gave me cash told me to buy myself something nice to cheer me up. I had already part of the cash elsewhere so I just wanted to use the remaining here. When I said that, the associate mocked me and said “you really want to use just $4 In cash and then pay the rest on your card?” Yes, that’s exactly what I just said. She said they had to go through a write you process to do it. But I don’t understand why you give a customer a hard time who’s spending money in your store regardless of the amount. They made me feel like I was bothering them and associate kept sighing. When it was time for me to pay , she tried to apologize but at that point I was over it. I stayed silent and took my vase and left. I cried in the car with my mother because all I wanted was something nice to put the flowers in as I picking up the ashes of my loved one today and the mocked how I wanted to pay for their merchandise. Needless to say I won’t be returning to Ashley if this is how you treating their customers. Thanks for more trauma during my grieving process, Ashley Furniture Store.

If I could give no stars I would..We bought our son a bedroom suite and we had to pick it up..We arrived to pick it up and the box was torn on the end and the end of the dresser was smashed..We didn’t take it with us and had to wait 2 weeks to get another one..Went to pick it up and the drawer rail was torn on the inside..After driving there 2 times and still not receiving the dresser part of the bedroom suite they proceeded to tell us it will take 3 days for someone to contact us..Almost a month and all we have is a bed and night stand and no dresser..Customer service was rude and could careless about our purchase..They sell junk and make you come and pick your items up and then when you get there your furniture is busted and they don’t give a darn..

I have done business with Ashley for years. We have been happy with them until our last interaction. I bought two couches with the guardian stain warranty. Everything was fine until I needed the services I paid for. After two months of chasing this, I have finally reached my limit. Ashley/Guardian have set multiple appointments to resolve an issue. They have failed to meet multiple appointments and actually told me the company was restructuring and had had multiple lay-offs. I went to Ashley today and met with the manager John for the 6 time. He finally told me that they were not responsible for the warranty problems and told me to deal with Guardian. A nice man until it came time to provide true customer service. DONT BUY THE WARRANTY FROM ASHLEY! They DONT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS.

Ben was a great help helping us choose furniture, but customer service after the order was lacking. We were told the furniture would arrive within a week, and when it did not, we received no updates. We tried to call the sales rep and then the store and were given the runaround and were told different stories. One person said the headboard for the bedroom set was on back order, though we were told when we ordered that everything was available. Then, we were told that the headboard arrived but was broken and a new one had to be ordered. Then, we were told the bedroom suit was not at the store for pickup even though we had received an email saying the furniture had been delivered. We were happy with the furniture once it was finally available for pickup, but Ashley Furniture needs to work on communication and customer service.

She recommended items based on our preferences and also had great design suggestions as well (which is NOT my talent). The mattresses are made with fiberglass and that fiberglass will eventually make it's way out no matter what. If you're reading this DO NOT BUY AN ASHLEY MATTRESS! We are currently living in a fiberglass nightmare after owning an ashley mattress for less than 2 years. We never took the cover off or messed with the mattress in any way and the entire bottom is leaking fiberglass. If you do own one check under the mattress to make sure it isn't already leaking fiberglass
