Employees at the store are kind. However, the people who Ashley chooses to contract with are HORRIBLE. In the last 5 years, we have spent over $10,000 on furniture and have had nothing but problems with the warranty company and the delivery services. Most recently, the delivery company accidentally put a hole in our wall. He told me he would let Ashley know and even acted like he took pictures. When I followed up 2 weeks later, they tried to deny my claim because I hadn’t reported it in 48 hours. We ultimately settled with a check written to me to fix it. This remained a hole in my wall during the holidays for a total of 6 weeks. I typically have a policy that I don’t write a review unless I can give 5 stars. However I have learned my lesson and want people to understand what problems happen when they choose to buy from Ashley. I don’t need any further contact from Ashley. Anthony, if you posted this reply comment, I am disappointed. I didn’t put this in my original review, but you promised to reach out to me when I came in the store to get help with this situation. I never heard from you except for this comment. A little effort put in to researching a hole in a customers wall, wouldn’t be so hard? My review was just for people to understand the risk they take when buying from this company.

We had a good experience at Ashley Furniture. Paula Collins was a big help in assisting us to pick out our furniture.

We purchased from the store on 1017 Woodruff Rd Greenville, SC, 29607. We love our tempur bed, and overall we had a positive experience. Our sale person BJ was helpful because he came in on his time off. My disappointment was I felt there was no follow up. We have furnished three houses and one office from Ashley’s. One example was I told we would have 2 remotes for our bed but we only received one. It’s been 12 weeks and BJ told me he would ship it, and when communicate with him about 5 weeks ago and he said he needed to check on it, and I have not heard anything else. No follow up! I feel like this was short sighted, it’s like stepping over dollars to pick up Pennies. What a missed opportunity to “WOW” a customer. This is why the internet is winning vs store front, because it’s not about customer care anymore. But we have to pay for it. What a missed opportunity, I guess I more disappointed more than anything else. I guess I was just another number.

Thank you Daniel Manke for making this one of the best furniture shopping experiences of our life! We only had ideas and needed furniture for multiple rooms and were not certain what the best options would be. Update: Cancelled our order, called this past Sunday, had great news our stuff was finally going to arrive, scheduled delivery and set up for Friday 8/8/25. Imagine my shock today when I get a text to schedule delivery and set up, dates are 8/9 or 8/12. I replied it's already been set up for 8/8, they in turn tell me they have no records of this, call the store, no records of this, I already took off work to make this work for Friday, can't take off another day for this bs, told them cancel the order, and to the nimrods replying to this, you can't see my order because it's in my wifes name. Bought a bedroom set over 3 weeks ago here with my wife, was told this thing is going to get here quickly 1-2 weeks was the eta but was told no way it take the 2 weeks, it’s in stock not on back order or anything, I’ve followed up 3 separate times each time being told it’ll be here by the end of the week, called once again today to figure out what’s going on since it’s once again past the end of the week, I’m told to call the distribution center rather than given answers by the store I made the purchase from… just passed along in the line no help what so ever! I’m being forced to go out of my way to chase down information. Overall had a good experience pre purchase, but the post store follow up has been terrible! I don’t recommend buying anything from here especially when they clearly aren’t true to their word after all it’s been over 3 weeks now and we were given a 2 week top timetable on this thing

My wife and I purchased a sofa, loveseat, and swivel rocker recliner in 2021 from Ashley Furniture. In 12 less than 12 months the sofa was falling apart structurally, cushions were not good and they sent someone to repair it. Their own repair team said it could not be repaired and it was replaced. Now the sofa has been doing the same thing for months and they no longer carry that line. We went to the store and were told it was out of warranty as of last month and given the 800 customer service number to call. We were told that the unit was still in warranty and we had until 2026 but they discontinued that line also so a credit could be given. Then they said wait, the manager did not add the new sofa to the original plan and it would be covered if he had until 2026 but he did not so, it went out 5 months ago instead of last month. We have purchased so much from this location and now they are doing nothing but be rude, call this number, we can't help you. SO......we went to Lazy-Boy Gallaries and purchased a new sofa and love seat and will never be back to Ashley again! 15 years of being a customer, they see when the unit was replaced and yet will not do anything to help. DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE AND THINK IT IS THE SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE IT USED TO BE BECAUSE....THEY DO NOT CARE!

Great experience. I came in unsure of a look/style and what I was able to do financially. Kevin and Anthony were super personable. I was a little difficult, back and forth for multiple days, but as we closed on a week, we got everything I wanted! I was able to get my entire bedroom and living room set, as I pleased. We had a great experience with Paula Collins!

They do a good job at the store but after they have your money, customer service is beyond horrible. Had bedroom delivered 1/25 and the night stand and bed rails were damaged, which pictures and notes were taken by delivery drivers. Had to sleep on the floor for 4 days until the new rails would be delivered and was told new nightstand would be delivered at that time but was not. Called customer service again, only to be told they were never told about a damaged night stand and that the delivery service is separate from Ashley and they are unable to see pictures and notes in regards to deliveries. Was then told a new night stand was being ordered and would call to setup delivery date when it arrived. Waited 3 weeks and called for an update only to be told there was no notes on my account regarding a new nightstand and that I never contacted them. Went to store and received more of the it’s my fault and not ours, we can’t help you, and you need to chill out. After arguing with management, decided to just walk out because Ashley takes zero responsibility and it’s all up to the customer to resolve issues, even when the customer follows THEIR process. In an attempt to resolve the matter one more time before disputing the charge on my bank card, I contacted customer service. Customer service stated that I never notified them of the nightstand being damaged and, once again, they are unable to see notes and pictures from delivery drivers. I stated I wanted new furniture as I didn’t buy used, and then the agent said that Ashley does not guarantee their customers receive new furniture when they make a purchase from them. I followed up with can I have that in an email, but quickly that changed to…yep, it was my fault again and I was being sarcastic. So the agent said I had to send pictures and request a new night stand, since I didn’t previously, in which she would be emailing me a form I needed to fill out, which she did do. I was put on hold for 4-5 mins and when the agent returned, she miraculously was able to find the pictures and notes from the delivery drivers, even after they stated twice previously they did not have access to drivers notes or pictures, and that they would be ordering me a new nightstand. Not one person from Ashely said we apologize for anything at any point, even after being caught in a lie and making it known. Personally, I will never spend 1 cent again at Ashley and do not recommend!

Once we began walking around Ms. Laura Leon was the only person to greet and assisted us. She apologize and assisted us with our purchase. She was great and I recommend her to help you.

While they had a great selection, I couldn't stand the constant hovering of the employees. Circling around us waiting to move in for the sale. Ended up leaving and not buying anything due to this.

We had a very pleasant experience with Emily at this location. We picked out a new bed and sectional two days before closing on our home. As soon as we walked in the store Emily greeted us and offered her assistance. We already had the measurements for the sectional and knew we wanted a right facing chaise. Emily walked around the store with us as we sat on different sectionals learning the details about each sectional. Once we agreed on a sectional, we spent two hours trying out the different temper pedic beds. Emily was there the entire time making sure we purchased the perfect bed based on our needs. We laid on 5 different beds as Emily walked through the features of the different bases, mattresses and pillows. We found the perfect bed with Emily’s assistance. She provided us a quote and we promised to come back and purchase the items once we closed. Emily went a step further and texted us on closing day saying congratulations and waited for us to return to the store to make the purchase. We also received two free pillows and a few other items which I can’t remember at the moment. As we were waiting on delivery day, Emily continued to check in and has been a phone call away during the entire process even before delivery. The furniture was delivered and we updated Emily about a stain on a pillow as well as returning one piece of the sectional simply because we ran out of space. Again, Emily has informed us that she would keep an eye out for an account update so we can get a refund and she plans to follow up on the stain issue. Overall an exceptional experience and exceptional customer service. We really appreciate everything Emily has done for us and hope she can find us some dining room chairs for our table. Today, I visited their showroom where they have a variety of options (there are more options online, and they can do price matching in-store). Paula Collins helped me pick out the furniture I wanted; she was very sweet and patient (it took 2-3 hours to choose everything). Not really an outlet store. Priced sofa/loveseat and realized their price was same as regular store. When I questioned them they were very rude and told me they were outlet because of the convenience of taking used/display pieces with me. I informed them RoomstoGo discounts their pieces about 40% in their outlet. The sales person Mattie then informs me “to go to RoomstoGo then”. Wow!

I am not typically someone who goes online and bashes businesses, as I work in healthcare and deal with the public everyday, so I understand the frustrations. However, I am more than extremely disappointed in the service that I have received from this store, as well as the customer service staff. I bought a dresser from them over a month ago and was told by the manager of the store that it would be delivered that following week, during a 3 hour time frame that I chose, as long as it was before 9pm. It never showed up so I waited another 2-3 weeks before calling, as I understand that delays happen. When I finally called, I was told that they do not deliver after 5 and that I must be available all day from 8am-5pm the day they deliver. As most people, I work an 8-5 job, so that of course was not feasible to me. I informed customer service what I had been told at the date of purchase and they kept on repeating that they do not deliver after 5. That is a complete lie, as I have had close friends not get their furniture delivered until 7-8pm. My grandmother purchased the dresser for me as a gift, so she called customer service as well to try to get a delivery at least around 5. She ended being redirected to Robert, a "manager". We were already upset at this point, but kept composure, until Robert was extremely hateful. Practically yelled at my grandmother telling her "I DO NOT KNOW WHO TOLD YOU THAT LIE ABOUT THE 3 HOUR DELIVERY BEFORE 9, BUT THAT IS NOT A THING" and just kept on being extremely hateful. No apology for his temper, nothing. Instead of losing your temper with your customer, why don't you address you employees who are lying to your customers? I get it, you want to make sales. But lying to customers is only going to cause more anger and confrontation than just being straight up honest. For Robert to be a manager and someone who is supposed to represent this business, he is doing a terrible job. Treats people as if they are stupid and has a superior complex. I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received and will NEVER give this business another dime of my money, as well as do everything in my power to deter others from this business. Do better Ashley's.

One of the workers punched me in the face and even rolled her eyes when asking for help. When I bought a bed it never came and then it took a whole year for them to give me a refund I payed 6,000 dollars for a bed just for it to never come. Don’t shop here unless you want to be scammed and not refunded the manager sucks and is money greedy. 😢😠🙁

Paula is the one who helped me and my family. She pointed me in the direction of the perfect couch for me and never pressured us into buying something more expensive or something that we didn’t want. She took her time going over numbers and made sure that we were taking home the perfect sofa for us. Delivery was suppose to be 3-4 weeks and I got it in 6 days and it was in perfect condition. The delivery men were seamless and were in and out within 10 minutes of knocking on my door. Everything about the process was smooth and perfect. Unfortunate experience. Overzealous store manager who made delivery date promises they couldn't keep. After multiple phone calls, part of our furniture was delivered a month late which included a piece that was the wrong size. The customer service rep had the audacity to tell me to be careful not to ruin said piece of furniture before Ashley had the chance to pick it up if not I'd have to keep it and eat the cost. Then I was informed the rest of my furniture would not arrive for another 6 weeks (which would be about 10 weeks late from the original delivery date). The one thing they did right was honor a refund for the remaining furnitue after i cancelled.. even though it took another 2 weeks for that to happen. Suffice to say I will not be patronizing ashley again.

Highly recommend Ashley Furniture Homestore and Paula Collins!!! We will be back.

Bought a brand new bedroom set from there and loved it the guy who helped us was super nice and helpful, went back to get a living room set the guy who previously helped us wasn’t there, so I showed the (new guy) don’t even know his name a picture of what I was looking for and he was absolutely no help said they didn’t have anything close to that in store I’d have to order it online almost like he didn’t want to help me and pushed me right out the door! I ended up ordering online I will never go back in the store again!!!! 🤬

Originally had this posted on the outlet store Google review, but my furniture was purchased from the store itself not the outlet. Bought a coffee table, end table, and couch 36 days ago. Went online yesterday to look up a feature of my coffee table and noticed the price listed online for the coffee table and end table were less than 1/2 of what I paid with no special sale listed. They claimed it’s due to labor day, but the labor day sale listed on the item says an additional 5%. Then they said it was due to the financing I got, but the sales associate went through the financing options with me snd the price did not change significantly if at all (I would have definitely noticed if the price doubled), unfortunately I don’t have the paper she did the math on in her notebook. Because it’s been over 30 days and the furnitures delivered they stated they can’t price match or do any additional discount. The furniture so far is nice but I won’t shop here again after this experience. Future shoppers make sure to check the website before you purchase! they now state I have been “taken care of”. After reaching out to the company (and having to retract out several times after being told they’d contact me in 24 hours, I was told there was nothing they could do because the store said it was there policy…so I am still paying over double the advertised price for my furniture. And at the time no other cost options were told to me/I wasn’t told my price would be less than half if I paid outright…if I was told that I would not have financed. Still will never recommend this company or use them in the future. Lots of other options in Greenville.

I had the best customer service from their home furnishing sales associate Tim G. He really was a great help; I was looking to by a mattress for a daybed I purchased online, and Tim took his time going above and beyond to make sure I made that I was happy with my purchase. Because of the type of service, I received from him on a phone order. I would always ask for him when I go to the store or place another sales order over the phone.

I am in NY and call into the Ashley store in Greenville SC to get help purchasing furniture 5 states away for our new home in Taylor’s SC. Phil Pullen was the sales associate that took the time and went above and beyond to help me over the phone. He sent me pictures of furniture that I could not see online and getting me the best Labor Day pricing he could. Thanks to Phil we are a very satisfied customer.

Had been looking for a “new beginning” took me 4 years to find that perfect bedroom set. Went to this store after looking for a very long time. I am not used to change. Paula Collins helped me every step of the way and was more then patient. Wasn’t “pushy” as most often sales people are. This store by far has the most polite group of workers. My wife and I recently went to Ashley to look at purchasing some furniture for our new home. As we entered the store we were greeted by Paula Collins who was very friendly and proceeded to show us around the store. Initially we came in to purchase a new living room suite, but in the end we decided on getting several pieces. Paula was very helpful allowing us time to decide and figure out what options would work best. I feel like she spent a lot of time working with us throughout the process and we couldn’t be any happier with our purchases. Thanks Paula for everything and making the experience one to remember!!

Paula Collins was the associate who helped me and she was awesome. I was able to browse the store as long as I needed and she checked on me once in a while. I never felt pressured. She helped me get the correct color of the sofa and recliner I wanted. She was very personable and still professional during the sale. I appreciate her help so much!! My sofa has been delivered and I love it. My chair will be delivered tomorrow and I’m so excited to get it.

Started off great with sales associate been over a month waiting to get a damaged ottoman fixed. Sales rep no longer repsonds to call unless its a text about getting new furniture... thought i had a good experience with customer service rep just to get told 7-10 days twice so replacement part came about 20 days later and no email repsonse in 3 weeks. Its still an issue....replacment part has been sitting for almost 2 weeks but Tiara customer serivce is very helpful in trying to set up new request....update my review if my issue ever gets resolved.

Called 6 times in 2 different days. No able to speak to anyone in the schedule department, no one answer the phone.

Quinton; is the person you need to ask for. He greeted us asked us was there anything particular we were looking for. We told him Theater type furniture and he pointed us in the right direction. He gave us space to look and would come check on us answer any questions we had. Quinton was Patient, and Kind. My husband gave him a hard time and Quinton stayed genuinely upbeat and calm. Because of his professionalism, knowledge of the store and most of all his patience, we purchased a Theater Living Room set from him. Remember the name Quinton!

Prices are too high.

Order a bedroom set. Took almost a year to get. When they delivered the legs to slats on bed wrong size have called almost every day and was told they have right legs came out and still wrong size and was told by delivery guys That would get a phone call that day they would cut to correct size. Has been 2 weeks no call received yet.called and complained has been a month and still not fixed and forget about return calls

I had the BEST experience at AFHS. Reese was very thorough as well as running between two stores to show me different pieces of furniture (two different times!) because I was undecided. He was knowledgeable and also helped me to stay well under my budget! All associates who approached me were extremely kind as well! I would most definitely recommend people here!

Customer service team very rude. Never got updates on furniture and when I asked, they got an attitude. Sales person I was dealing with was awful. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. Will not step foot near this place ever again. 👎👎👎👎👎I ordered bedroom set a month ahead of time and got it about 3 months later, but I don't even care about that. The customer service/sales person was so bad/rude, I hope if people even consider buying from here, they get better service. DO BETTER. You need to have a way to rate ur sales people! Never got any way to provide feedback. Once you make the purchase, they couldn't care less.

The worst experience in my life. I asked the lady 4 times if they run a soft credit check she said yes. After they told it’s a hard credit check. I lost my 30 points on my credit score and they wasn’t able to help find the best options. I just lost 30 points for nothing. I don’t believe them anymore. They just said sorry

I’ve been going to Ashley’s for all my furniture needs and throughout all my shopping experience nobody compares to the care and knowledge that Brenda had. When it comes to buying furniture I am very picky, Brendas patience made this experience very smooth. Thank you Brenda for your kindness!

We bought a living room set and a bedroom at the end of April. The employees seemed helpful and were polite. At the time, we were told there would be an 8-12 week wait for both sets. We liked the sets, so we settled with the wait. Fast forward to week 15, and our bedroom set along with a recliner was delivered. I called to get an update on the couches and was told that they wouldn’t be delivered until October 4th, which is insane. The next day, I started to assemble the bedroom set and found that the rails were the wrong size and belonged to a twin bed rather than a king. So, I called and ordered the new rails and attempted to cancel the living room set because six months is an unacceptable timeframe for couches. I was told that the manager was on lunch and that he would need to assist with canceling the transaction. The next day I called, again and again, was told that the manager was out and that I would have to wait for a return phone call. I finally received a call back the next day and was able to cancel the living room set. Finally, a week later, the correct rails arrived, and I am able to get that portion straight. After that, I started checking my accounts and found that not only have they failed to refund my account for the couches, BUT they have also double charged me for the bedroom set. So, now I have to call these people AGAIN and try to get this straight. I fully expect to be given the run around again. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I would not recommend this company unless you plan to order your replacement furniture a year in advance.

We purchased a headboard from Ashley Furniture. Within a few weeks of receiving it, we found several bedbugs crawling out of it. We called an exterminator, who confirmed that they were in fact bed bugs, and put us on the schedule for treatment. They treated and inspected our entire home and only found bed bugs living in and around the headboard. We contacted Ashley Furniture with this information, but were told that they would only do something or speak to us about the situation if we had called within 30 days. It had been 32 days at this point. While we had found the bed bugs a week prior, we had wanted to give the company the benefit of doubt, and waited for the exterminator to confirm this was the source. We got this response from both Corporate and the local Store. Two weeks after treatment, we found more bed bugs crawling out of the bed frame. At that point the extermination company encouraged us to dispose of the headboard. We followed their direction and the extermination company returned and resprayed as a precaution. We spent close to $400 on this bed frame. But, in having to have our home sprayed for bed bugs and in having to buy a new bed frame, we spent more than triple on what we originally spent at Ashley Furniture to treat a problem that came from this company, who is actively refusing to address the issue. **EDIT TO ACCOUNT FOR OWNERS RESPONSE: We have attached a copy of our Proof of Sale provided by our local Ashley Home Store as labeled on the receipt. I absolutely love Shane! He was a wonderful help and helped me get everything set up and choose exactly what bed I wanted. I had to go back twice and each time he was patient and helpful and the best representative I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Now.....I would give Shane 10 stars if I could rate him separately unfortunately his coworkers are some pains. I made sure to ask ahead of time if I can go ahead and order the bed and change the shipping address at a later time due to moving and was assured that it was going to be as easy as calling and I'm sure it would be that easy if they would answer the phone! I have called several times over multiple days and have had no answer...well actually they did answer once...then they hung right back up. I am extremely annoyed that now I need to waste gas going back over there to change the address when it should be as easy as calling and changing the address. I love who I worked with because Shane is wonderful but the rest are giving Ashley a bad name. Edit: Had to come up here and update my 3 to a 5. Ashley is definitely on top of there game and again I give props to Mr.Shane. Not even 24hrs after this review he called, apologized for his coworkers not answering and fixed all my issues. He is a angel and I will definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to go to Ashleys.

I visited the Ashley Outlet in Greenville NC in March. A young lady named Frankie waited on me. She is an amazing sales person. She was patient and very professional. I got a temper pedic mattress with ergo base ( whole 9yardsjead up/ foot up/down. Cooling effect. Zero gravity and massage. The base was a separate price. $ 1500.00 ALONE, THE BED ON THE OTHER HAND WAS $2898.00 plus taxes on it and the base OF COURSE ALL told about, ,6 grand I have serious back, hip and other problems. I have had it for 2-3 weeks and it has mmy back MUCH WORSE. when I get up. They said I would have 3 days to turn it in, how ever when I called as well as when I returned to the store they REFUSED TO HONER THEIR OWN VERBAL CONTRACT. NEEDLESS TO say I need to sell so I can another water bed. I've been on the same one for 21 years. I know if ain't BROKE DON'T FIX T. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I ordered furniture on March 3 2021 paid cash I told them I needed it asap the salesman told me they would try to get it here by May , 2021 well they don't answer the phone and when they do they are rude. I finally got through and now they are telling me probably June the first or second week. Very unprofessional and rude not happy with the store at all

Wanted a bed and headboard, no one at the store would help so we looked online, and it had only the option of assembly required. Not a problem for us so we ordered. Bed came and to our surprise, over half the pieces were missing. Spent an hour and 26 minutes on the phone getting transferred over and over, and even hung up on. No one cared and no one had any answers to have a full bed shipped to us and the other one shipped back. Finally got someone who seemed to care and said 1) a UPS shipping label would be emailed for us to put on the box (after repacking it up) and UPS would come and pick it up, and 2) a new bed would be shipped. NEVER received an email about UPS and instructions! A new bed did arrive but was left in the front yard in a rain storm. It was never delivered to our doorstep as it should have been. To no avail, no one would handle the issue; just a round and round scenario as before. Online service said I had to talk to the local store, that it was not their problem, yet, I DIDN'T ORDER FROM THE STORE!! But, I decided to go in and see if someone could help. Online rep said the item was listed under the local store Parrot Group LLC so they had to take care of it. Local store was absolutely NO HELP! In fact, the denied that they have to help at all because I ordered online!!! SO in other words, no one will take responsibility. They dialed the customer care line and I spoke to a "manager" named Kirsten (spelling?) and she seemed to be helping and said my complaint with hopeful resolution would be "pushed up the chain" and "high priority" and I should receive an email or someone would call me. 4 days later..... NOTHING. Obviously I am screwed. One bed with pieces missing, a second that is water logged. And no one will help, online nor local store. I will never be ordering from Ashley Furniture again. And anywhere I can find a site to post a review.... be damned sure I will ;)

Purchased $2,000 dollars of furniture and got no update on delay. No one answered the phone when calling for update. Had to personally go to location in multiple times in order to get any updates. Was told there would be a 20% if I wanted to return the purchase I have paid in FULL for and not yet received. Don’t waste your money. At least keep in contact with the people giving you business. Will not be recommending this location!!! 600 Greenville Blvd SE.

This is a lot, but I PROMISE it’s worth taking your time to read if you are thinking about spending your hard earned money at Ashley’s. First, we of course had problems with delivery. Yes, we were aware there were delays due to COVID. That’s fine. We were patient and waited. Then we finally get the call that our pieces are in and ready to be delivered. We schedule our delivery and DROVE 3 HOURS to receive the items, which were two king bedroom suits, an accent table, and mattresses and box springs. Well, the truck shows up and the only items they had for us were our mattresses and box springs! A few hours and a few phone calls later we were told they didn’t have a truck big enough for all of items at the time so they delivered what they could. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Fast forward a little bit, we were connected to the delivery team manager, Mark, who was very helpful and did what he could to make it right and put our items on the next available delivery truck. Second, multiple pieces from our first order were not working properly. Tracks on SEVERAL dresser drawers are off so the drawers are unable to close. The accent table shelves are sitting at an angle. We tried to adjust them ourselves, but it seems to have been built incorrectly. The delivery manager agreed as well. We were given the contact information to the custom care department to resolve these issues, but I’ll get to that in a minute... For some insane reason, we decided to place another order with Ashley’s. BIG MISTAKE. This time we order two more queen bedroom suites and mattresses and boxsprings. To our surprise, they all came in within a decent time frame and everything was delivered on the same day. After our bedroom suites were delivered we noticed huge dents and scratches on our walls and ceiling leading up our staircase. I can look over a scratch or two, I even had to take a Mr. Clean to our walls in a few places after the first delivery, but this time it was BAD. We have talked to Customer Care, emailed the pictures like they asked, and we’ve heard nothing. We’ve been promised a call back for two weeks now and NOTHING. I should also add, we are renovating this home and the walls were freshly painted. OH and to make matters worse, the parts they need to fix our furniture won’t ship until March because the parts warehouse is switching warehouses. So there’s that. What prompted me to just now write this review is after speaking with Customer Care again today, we were offered a gift card for our troubles. A gift card! And when I expressed how frustrating it is after all the money we’ve spent and issues we’re having, they want to send me a gift card?! She then follows by offering a $100 back from one of our deliveries. You know what this tells me? Ashley’s cares about making a sell and getting your money. That is it. There is no “Customer Care” as far as I’m concerned. Ashley’s will never get another dime from me. I’ll make it my mission to be sure none of our friends or family have to experience this either.

Paula at the one in Greenville is legit the sweetest person ever, she’s not pushy and she’s very helpful GIVE THE GIRL A RAISE ! She’s incredible and do great at her job

We shopped at the Ashley store in Greenville, NC Sept 27, 2020 for a recliner. My husband picked out the one he wanted and of course it had to be ordered. We were told it would arrive the middle of November. Then it was the end of November. Then it was the middle of December. Kept getting the run around. My husband finally went into the store and was treated very rudely. He told them he didn't like being lied to. He asked for the corporate number which he called. "Oh Mr Redman, we're so sorry this happened. Please accept a $50 gift card to our store." Big deal. Why would we even want to go to an Ashley Furniture store again? The chair finally arrived on December 5. Then we discovered there was a large gap between the seat and the back. Even a pillow kept falling through the back. Be aware they have a no return policy, even when their merchandise is defective. It took almost two months for a repair man to come try to fix it. It's better, but still not right. The guy who came wasn't rude, but he had no manners. He barely spoke 15 words the whole time he was here. My husband walked in the house and the guy never acknowledged him at all. When the guy left, there were no papers to sign, no "hope this fixes it for you", no "Have a good day". Nothing. If he represents Ashley Furniture, it's just another reason I would never recommend that store to anyone. Our son tried to warn us because of trouble he had with that store. We should have listened to him.

Ordered a couch in September aware there was a delay due to covid of 6 to 8 weeks. Sounds like I might get it by March. Why even offer products that are entirely unavailable? Or at least give a realistic timeline. Had you told me 6 months I would have found another couch.

I purchased a nice sectional and table in mid October and was told 7-9 weeks before delivery. I was consistently told it was set to arrive mid December, which I was understanding due to Covid. Mid December came and I was told the sectional would now not arrive until mid January. Most recently, I just received a call saying the sectional will not arrive until mid February and I expect it to continue to be delayed. The salesman I worked with was friendly and helpful in the store, but Ashley’s should have told us this was scheduled to arrive later than 7-9 weeks when we originally purchased. I was happy with my service in store, but each time I call the distribution center, they do not seem to care this is arriving so late. I planned to furnish my new home with the store, but I simply cannot as it takes much too long to arrive.

I went into Ashley HomeStore and found the perfect adjustable bed frame for my mother. The sales person was great. No pressure at all and was delivered today.

Let's see.......where do I begin... My wife and I ordered furniture the day before Labor Day. We paid cash and was told that it would be delivered sometime after October 5, 2020. Well, I constantly kept having to ask for updates from my salesman, Big Dave. He told me that he read the sheet wrong and that it would be delivered a week later. Well, I waited for a call about the delivery and never got one. So, I called the store and spoke to Alexis. She couldn't answer one question I was asking her about my delivery date. She also kept telling me that there wasn't a floor manager, or store manager, there when I called. When I asked her to transfer me to someone who could answer my questions, she called me an "a$$hole" and transferred me to the main Ashley Furniture number. When the lady there asked me what she could help me with, I asked her to transfer me back to the Greenville store. I got connected to Alexis and asked her why she called me that word. She not once denied it. She kept apologizing for doing it. When I asked to speak to her manager, a woman named Mae (?) got on the phone. She told me that she would deal with her. I then called customer service at HQ and spoke to Scott in Customer Care. He told me that he would address this issue and offered to upgrade my delivery, but I declined. I got a call that day from Big Dave saying that my furniture would be delivered the following Friday. Two days before the supposed delivery date, I had to text my salesman about the delivery. He texted me he was getting with his boss about my delivery. He then texted me saying that he was at lunch and he would be getting with his boss when he got back to the store. When I asked him why he was lying to me, he never responded. I finally got a call about my delivery the day before the delivery was supposed to happen. When I pressed 2 to talk to someone about my delivery, the phone just rang and rang and rang. Come to find out they close at 2 and it was almost 3. When I called the store in Greenville to see if they could do something about the delivery time and date, and wouldn't you know it, Alexis answered the phone. She didn't give me a hard time nor cuss at me. This time I talked to a wonderful person named Tobin. He didn't call me a bad name, but he sure was short with me when I was asking him questions. He didn't seem to like being asked questions he either didn't have an answer to, or didn't want to answer. I couldn't really figure it out. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from this store. Go to the store, find what you are looking for, and buy it online from the Ashley website or a 3rd party. I found the exact same couch and loveseat online for about $250 less each than the price of the same exact furniture on the sales floor. They do price match and they were none too happy to match the price I found. And if you do decide to buy something from them, expect to receive horrible, if any, customer service. I still haven't received a call from the store manager or the store owner since each location is locally owned and operated. I will NEVER buy anything from them ever again.

I was very apprehensive to go to Ashley after hearing some no so good reviews but my mom encouraged me to try it anyway. I am SO GLAD she did! After previously visiting other stores going to Ashley was like what furniture shopping should be! Daniel greeted up asked if we needed some help showed me a few options in the range of what I was looking for and got prices whenever we asked! The thing I loved most is he didn't try to sell me anything and listened to all of my wants and indecisive needs. Not only did he do everything he could to check prices and keep up with my list of changing demands, he also found that the couch I fell in love with was on promo!! I got my couch and a chair for my nursery for a great price! Then the next week I went back and bought my kind size bed from him as well! When the mattress was delayed longer than expected he was kind enough to hook us up with a comparable mattress that was even an upgrade for the delay! I have already recommended him to all of my friends and family and pretty much anyone who will listen! Great guy, great quality furniture and amazing service! 10/10 would recommend!

The WORST place to buy furniture from in Greenville. I purchased a bed and couch and both items were late. They have HORRIBLE customer service and the delivery guys RIPPED my couch and were extremely unhygienic upon entering my home. SAVE YOU MONEY & buy from a different store.

So today after 8 months I finally have my son room complete. I bought his bedroom set in February I will say the store manager and the delivery manager in the Greenville location did try all they could to help i have never had this type of experience with Ashley so I will chop this up to one of those rare cases. A bit ridiculous but things happen. The warehouse people are very unprofessional but I was told on numerous occasions that most of them are new so maybe that contributed to the messiness.

My husband and I purchased our couch from this location. They originally told us that they’d inform us when it was delivered to their Warehouse to set up a delivery date but they did not. They gave us the complete run around and we had to call multiple times just to get simple information. Extremely messy.

MY HUSBAND AND I FIRST VISITED THE GREENVILLE STORE ON SUNDAY, JULY 19 TO LOOK FOR A SOFA AND PAULA COLLINS GREETED US AT THE DOOR. FROM THAT POINT SHE SHOWED US WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR AND SHE WAS VERY NICE IN EXPLAINING THE COST. WE TOLD HER WE HAD TO SLEEP ON IT. SHE THEN GAVE US HER CONTACT INFO AND MY HUSBAND CALLED HER ON MONDAY AND SHE WAS EAGERLY WAITING WITH A WARM SMILE. WE BOUGHT THE SOFA AND EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PURCHASE WAS AN EXPERIENCE THAT WE HAD NOT HAD BEFORE. PAULA COLLINS WAS THE BEST AND I WILL BE RECOMMENDING MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO HER. WAY TO GO PAULA!!!!

Shayne was a fantastic salesman and a huge help. He did not hover but was always close by to answer any questions. Then, he closed the deal with giving me a great deal! He made the whole process easy, enjoyable, and affordable.

We were looking for quite a bit of furniture for our we home. Over we arrived at the store we were greeted by Reese. He's a younger guy with a great low pressure attitude. After getting pricing for larger different sectionals and different bedroom sets, as well as a high-end matress, we picked what we wanted and got down to dealing on price. Reese worked with us and the store manager. Bottom line, we got the price we wanted, as well as a vase my wife wanted. Ashley is highly recommended for a good selection and good pricing. Definitely look up Reese when you visit. A really good guy to work with!

I visited this store and was immediately approached by Shayne, one of the sales representatives. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it came to choosing furniture for my living room. I came into the store looking for a particular set, he showed me the set but I also asked him to show me more. After looking at a few furniture pieces, sitting on them and looking at prices.. he showed the last furniture set that would be the set I purchased that day. I walked out of the store, a happy young mother with my first large cash purchase for a living room furniture set. Thank you, Shayne for your service that day! Reese was very patient and understanding of my needs when I came in. He allowed me to take my time, he had to change my order twice within the 24 hour timeframe. He worked diligently to make sure I was satisfied. Ask for Reese!

Reese was extremely helpful and was even willing to move the recliner I wanted to purchase all the way across the floor just so I could see how it looked with my new sectional! I liked that I wasn’t pressured into making a quick decision and was allowed the freedom to take the time and make the perfect purchase! Will definitely be returning to this location for all my future purchases.

My boyfriend & I came by the store to get a sofa for our apartment. We were greeted and helped by Ed and he was super helpful! He helped break down prices and answered all of our questions. This was my first time buying a sofa and he made the process a breeze. Will definitely come back!

She understood and respected my discomfort shopping during COVID-19 and really did a top notch job providing my husband and me space to look through the store! The showroom is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and offers so many diverse options for the home!! Alexis helped us choose pieces and colors and even looked at our pics of our new house to better assist in our purchase. Alexis and management offered us a fantastic deal on our four rooms we furnished!! We were able to make our purchase and arrange delivery within a few weeks. The entire staff was friendly and respectful of the 6ft. social distancing which made this a fun experience. Naturally introverted, I dislike shopping for furniture and being “followed around” by a sales person. Alexis changed this for me!! She was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and respectful of my needs to social distance. She gave me space to sit and enjoy the furniture and really make decisions. I had previously gone to a few other furniture stores before going to Ashley’s, the other stores didn’t want to seem to help so we left. When we walked into Ashley’s we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed assistance. We worked with Ms. Angeline today, we told her what we needed and she quickly helped us pick out what was perfect for our new home. No haggling, no hassle. Just good, honest service from this store. Will be back again!

Tobin was really helpful. He was very knowledgable of all the products. He wasn't clingy but was always there when you had questions, plus, he helped us save a bunch of $$$. Ashley furniture in Greenville NC and Tobin were awesome, you should definitely consider them as a top option when shopping.

Showroom full of furniture. To purchase you have to be willing to part with your hard earned cash and wait 3 weeks for delivery. Might as well order online.
