This is the second time I have worked with Stephanie. She is amazing and so easy to work with. I worked with her in Gastonia and then she moved to the Hickory store where you’ll find her now. I’ve been happy with my purchases as well.

We went to the Hickory store to purchase a mattress. We were greeted at the door by Stephanie. She immediately helped us find what we were looking for. Our visit and purchase went so smoothly and was a great experience. We will return for our next purchase.

Highly disappointed in the service. I purchased a sectional in December and the expected delivery is now pushed out to possibly May 19th. I’ve talked to corporate on 1/24, 2/6 and on 2/23 and the representative could not give me a firm delivery date. I have paid $3,552.33 in full and my salesman/manager (Brian Cadle,Hickory Store) did not communicate that it would take this long to receive our furniture. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift. We will never purchase from Ashley furniture and especially the Hickory office again.

We were completely ignored. We stood waiting for almost 5 minutes and no one even looked up to say they would be with us in a minute. One lady was sitting on her computer singing to herself. If they were busy, that’s completely understandable, but a simple acknowledgement would have been acceptable and we would have been happy to wait. Then when we started to leave she looked up and said “have yall been helped” (she knew we had not been, she had seen us standing there for minutes). Again, if you’re busy, just acknowledge our presence and we’re happy to wait our turn, but to ignore us and then act like we’re the rude ones for not waiting is unacceptable. Clearly they had made enough sales for the day 🤷‍♀️

Bradley was amazing! I went in with a very clear idea of what I needed and he helped me get exactly what I needed very efficiently. And we had fun zipping around the store together. Go see Bradley for productive furniture shopping!

Nice showroom and plenty of selections. Got a great deal on a couch and loveseat. Stanley was awesome. Such a gentleman and made us feel welcomed. They won’t deliver until next week but I’m sure that will be as professional as the sales process.

I just bought a leather sofa and matching loveseat at Ashley's in Hickory, NC. The sofa's are beautiful, very nice quality, however... on the firm side. They were on clearance at half price! What a great deal. I had to pay someone to deliver them and remove the old furniture, but it was worth it. The quality of Ashley's furniture overall isn't so great, but if you know what you're looking for, there are great finds to be had.

We found exactly the sofa we needed. James was very helpful And all of the staff were friendly. But the checkout/payment process was tediously slow. And ultimately, we were unable to buy barstools we had hoped to purchase because the delivery process was too slow, and There was no way for us to pick them up at the store.

After searching the web for a certain size reclining couch/sofa, I decided to just go to the Ashley Store and look around. I found the perfect reclining loveseat and sofa for our home. The sizes will work in our small home but I also loved the material it was made out of as we do have a couple dogs at home. With that being said, I wouldn’t had known about these specific sofas without Jame’s help! He was very nice, helpful, and not pushy at all!! We are very pleased with our experience and will use this Ashley store and James again in the future!!

Went into Ashley furniture looking for a loveseat for a small apartment I just moved into. I found the love seat (and ottoman) I wanted in the color I wanted and the salesman Stanley was excellent. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. It made the buying process that much easier (and quicker). I would highly recommend Ashley and Stanley to anyone looking to buy furniture.

High quality furniture caught my eye, but customer service sealed the deal. If you want a kind respectful salesperson that will help you make the best informed decision and do that without pressuring you to buy more than you can afford - ask for Stanley. He was patient and knowledgeable. It was like going furniture shopping with a friend. Originally I purchased a bed with storage because I found it online and wanted to see it in person. Stanley helped me get the best deal for my needs regarding the bed. Because of that experience, I deliberately looked for Stanley when it was time for a couch purchase. He did not fail me. It was another positive experience. As a former Business and Marketing educator, I do not give praise lightly. Stanley earned my respect and patronage. Ashley needs to give that man a raise.

My husband went in without me, found a few pieces we both liked. He got a business card from the gentleman that helped him. I then texted James, in regards to the pieces and he was very helpful. We went back the next day to meet with James and finalize the purchase. He was so helpful, and not pushy, that we ended up getting several other pieces for our new home. I highly recommend James if you do stop in to Ashley in Hickory!

Absolutely one of the easiest furniture stores I've had dealings with in many years. My sales person, Stephanie Burke was Epic. Explained in detail all the functions of my purchase, went over the warranty, set up delivery, Absolutely Flawless. Excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. I will add that we knew what we wanted before we got there. Our sales rep was very accommodating to our needs and allowed us to look at different options without hanging over us. That’s a non-starter. We bought a sectional from this store that was delivered to our house about a month and a half later because it had to be ordered. When it was delivered there was a problem with one of the pieces of the sectional but we were assured the it would be fixed by customer service so we accepted delivery. A replacement covering for the sectional back was sent and they sent out a “master craftsman” to fix the problem. He did not replace the defective covering. He only adjusted the Velcro to try and help the appearance but it still looked terrible so I filed a case with their customer support. They refused to help stating the master craftsman said the piece met Ashley furniture standards and it was only a customer perception problem. If anyone was to see the area of the sectional in question they would also think it was unacceptable. They admitted as much on the phone but said there was nothing else they would do. I contacted the manager at the hickory nc store to she if she would help. I was assured that the problem would be rectified but I’ve since been ghosted and have gotten no further assistance from them. I would highly recommend to not buy from Ashley furniture or this store in particular because they do not stand behind their product, they just want your money for an inferior product! I would give zero stars if possible.

I had an amazing experience at the Ashley Store with Stephanie Burke. I came in only looking for a bedframe & mattress and left with so much more...matching dresser & night stand, pillows, & another bed frame. Stephanie & I hit it off immediately. She showed me numerous items but then allowed me to look on my own. I found exactly what I wanted. Stephanie shared her knowledge and let me try out different mattresses until I found the one that was just right. There was no pressure just assistance. Stephanie and I felt like we were meant to be paired. She was the best! I would highly recommend Stephanie. She was so helpful! And I have a new friend! 😁 I also was able to meet the General Manager, Sonya De LA Cruz, who was also wonderful. My son, who was with me, also was impressed with Sonya's energy and friendliness. There was a lot of laughter and hugs all around.😊

Seemed to be a slow day, way more salespeople than customers, but they were all extremely helpful and attentive... a fun group. I was greeted by James and he was genuine in trying to help me... not your typical pushy salesperson. I told him that I was buying a house and was unable to purchase until the house closed and he understood and continued to help me. He suggested some great ideas that I never would have thought of. He even had me test drive an adjustable bed... now on my list! Thank you James and everyone at Ashley. You are my go to store from now on!

If only a zero stars was available! First time walking into this location! When I came in every worker but one was sitting on furniture throughout the front of entrance. One guy was standing but everyone was on their phones but one guy that had paperwork in hand. Anyway, the guy standing up ask him in a I can't wait to go home voice, can I help you. Was not greeted properly, all others looked up then back down at their phones.

Overall it was a really good experience. Store is well displayed, merchandised, and organized. The best part was our Sales Person, Brian. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful and ultimately was the reason we made a purchase.

By far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Failed to honor their promise of the mattress 90-night comfort guarantee, charged a delivery fee (shows free delivery online), prices in the store are almost DOUBLE the prices listed online, botched the delivery/exchange, never responded to emails, phone calls, texts (multiple attempts). Just an overall terrible experience. I would never recommend anyone shop with this company.

We went on a Sunday afternoon was directed to exactly what we were looking for. Our sales person was Emanual Gray .He was very helpful with all of our questions. Left my husband and I took look around and discuss options. When we made our selection he was prompt to giving payment options and it was a quick and easy to get paperwork finished

The staff is very friendly and Manny was incredibly helpful and patient with us while we looked around the store.

We went in looking for a couch and Courtney was very thorough explaining all the different options. She was very knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy like some people. We ending up buying multiple pieces. We bought there before and the furniture is still in great condition.

I went in looking for a couch for my new apartment, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, sometimes at furniture stores you feel pressured because the associates won’t leave you alone but I did not feel that at all here they let us walk around and than when we were ready the associate that helped was there and he was very friendly and we will definitely be coming back to get some more items.

Spent THOUSANDS on what was supposed to be an all leather living room set. Its discolored and ripping apart. We purchased the "warranty" and they're unwilling to do anything. Your sales people outright lied to us. We were told every kind of damage was covered. LIE. Seriously considering speaking with our attorney. Update. Called the number you suggested. We were informed that there was nothing you could do except send us free material as a "courtesy" that we would have to pay someone to fix. You lied to us. This furniture is NOT REAL LEATHER. Closing our credit account with you and spreading the word.

My wife and I were wanting to browse Reclining sofas and space is at a premium and we wanted to look at Ashley Furniture. Quality and durability was highly desirable. Lauren greeted us at the door. We told her what we were looking for and showed her a couple of photos. She was incredibly low key and left us to browse the store. As we show interest in different pieces she came and sat with us at the different sofas location to chat. When we decided on a unit we thought we might like, she passed us onto Brian and he starting writing the deal up for us promising a good discount. She unfortunately was detained by another customer. Brian was also low key and we talked music for most of the time we were there with him. He got our pertinent information from us and we continued talking. He is heavily in Vinyl records and we had that in common. It was a blast to converse with him. We closed the deal by paying on a credit card. We purchased the Durapella Sofa and a Durapella recliner. They are slate gray and so comfy. With nice electric features like being able to raise the back of the sofa to accommodate different head support positions and a full recline position also. The operations were smooth and quiet. We were easily sold on the product. We are taking delivery this weekend. Both Brian and Lauren(Laurie?- a million apologies if I got it wrong, made it so comfortable to buy there tonight. It is greatly appreciated. Brian discounted the units well for us and we were totally satisfied! 5 Stars!!!

Had Brian again, and awesome as always. He remembered us from last time we came in 2020 and purchased furniture from him. Dont let this guy go! Deserves a raise !
