We bought a sofa and love seat from here just a bit over a year ago. In about 6 months the arm of the couch broke causing a soft spot midway, a year and a month the love seat recliner broke. We purchased the extended warranty with pet clause that would fix or replace. So we are 3 weeks into waiting on repairs the parts arrived for the love seat but not the couch. We were told Ashley’s wasn’t supplying them. That the repairer would have to get their own. So I find out my expensive couch is made out of freaking cardboard. I thought Ashley was quality product. DONT BUT THIS JUNK.

I will never be able to thank Rachel enough for her kindness, support, patience, and willingness to work with me. My husband passed away unexpectedly. We were desperately in need of a new couch and a new bed for one of my children. As you can imagine furniture shopping was the last thing I wanted to do and my social meter was nonexistent. I stopped at a couple other furniture stores and was incredibly disappointed with the customer service and looks I received. Yes, I was in sweats and probably looked like a mess. That doesn’t excuse poor service and judgement. When I walked into Ashley’s, I was ready to call it quits. Rachel met me with a huge smile, pinpointed what I was looking for, encouraged me to take my time, and I felt zero pressure. I found what I was looking for and told her my budget. She was able to work some miracles to ensure we got what we were looking for. I left that night to process and make sure measurements fit and this was what we truly wanted. Life got busy and I reached back out a little over a week later to let her know we would like to proceed. She remembered who I was, what we were looking for, honored her quoted prices (even though many had increased) and gave me a hug before leaving. I wish every sales experience was this simple and customer focused. Rachel will have my business for life and will always be the one I send people to for any home needs.

Furniture was all the same. Nothing unique. It also wasn't very comfy. I don't believe new furniture needs to be broken in, it should arrive comfortable. Prices I felt were high and not for great quality.

Good morning, I want to start by saying that the delivery is very long, they delivered the remaining furniture to us for more than a month, and no one warned about the delay and why there was a two-week delay. Until we called and contacted the store ourselves. I do not recommend this place. Also, why don't your employees put on shoe covers when delivering furniture, delivery and furniture are very expensive!! I ask the company's management to look into this!! I absolutely do not like it when people enter the house in street shoes...

Update: Nightmare experience with Ashley. Part 2. Had our furniture reupholstered yesterday and it was a shabby job, the saga continues as they’re sending someone back again to fix it. Sharing pictures of what’s underneath the pricey cheap furniture that this store peddles. Beyond appalled and regret making purchases from Ashley. Also to the generic response this review has received - I have zero interest or inclination in being on the phone to customer service yet again. I have, however, already emailed customer service about this with the pictures I’m currently sharing here - which if you were competent, wouldn’t take you long to find. Part 1. Chose to buy multiple pieces of furniture from the Jacksonville, NC store because we liked our salesperson and he wasn’t pushy like the countless other furniture stores/warehouses we visited. It was a pleasant experience until payment and delivery - which was, and is, an absolute nightmare! Every single piece of furniture from Ashley that has been delivered has been damaged (from bed panels to bed feet to a brand new couch stained with RUST?! and torn fabric!) This standard of service is unacceptable on so many levels for the prices we pay for mediocre furniture. Imagine paying thousands for a brand new couch, having to wait 2 months and it still ends up being delivered torn and rust stained. In this instance, I immediately got on the phone with customer service who are an absolute joke - will leave you on hold for hours, promise updates to fix the problem, and then go radio silent for two weeks while you have to chase them down for answers constantly calling the number and emailing them. The delivery team also likes to arrive way ahead of time with the damaged goods - say your delivery slot is between 2 and 5, and god forbid you work for a living and take time off of work to be present at the location of delivery during those hours, they like to show up unannounced at 12 (?!). We’ve been lucky that I was at home multiple times when this has happened but I can only imagine if I had showed up at the scheduled time, and I would have missed them because they can’t stick to a schedule or believe in the courtesy of a phone call, automated or otherwise. Manners are also apparently not a priority at Ashley with some of the delivery team just walking into your house while the door isn’t even halfway open yet, and being rude and surly. We were planning to buy more furniture but we will not be doing it at Ashley - it has been an awful two months of waiting, being delivered damaged goods at every delivery made, and subpar, borderline trash customer service. I write this review as I’m on the phone to them for yet another update on the damaged couch. It has taken so much of the joy of furnishing a brand new house and we deeply regret giving Ashley furniture any business. We did do our research and the reviews online were less than encouraging but we chose to go with them because of their salesperson, Tony. However, all the following experiences make the negative reviews we read ring true. Be cautious while buying from Ashley Furniture stores if there is delivery involved.

I ordered my dresser a month ago and won't be getting it for another week. It shouldn't take 5-6 weeks to receive furniture. Transit time from shipping to receiving is 2 weeks!!!! Where are they shipping this from?

My wife and I were moving to the area and we called the local number and were connected with Rachel. She went WAY above and beyond, helping us and answering questions 7 days per week almost around the clock. We were 6 hours away and relied on her going above and beyond with pictures, measurements, etc and she helped us set up the earliest delivery date. We had a few minor hiccups with the delivery but we're handled right away without issues from Rachel. Jacksonville, Holly Ridge, Surf City area, contact Rachel if you have any furniture needs.

Update: Ashley furniture has gone above and beyond and I am so thankful this company has integrity when it comes to handling problems. TCW furniture was utilized to fix our couch and they were AMAZING. We are excited to continue doing business with Ashley furniture and furnishing more rooms. I am certain this will be a lot smoother for future purchases. Thank you! I am so saddened at my delivery experience. The delivery men were very nice upon arrival but definitely did not care about the furniture. Upon arriving to my home, they had an issue getting the couch through the door. Instead of considering it too small to bring the couch in, they took off the legs and aggressively pulled each leather cushion in one by one as the other pushed from the other side. The back cushions are not removable by the way. The couch was also placed on the ground as the evolution was going on. There are so many scratches all over the couch. When putting the legs of the couch back on, they stripped the screws so bad that it will be nearly impossible to remove again. They were so angry and very frustrated at the experience as well. The couch should have been protected as it was rubbed against wood and metal around the door and door frame. What a terrible experience and there is nothing I can do about it until Monday. Based on the reviews I am terrified of how this will be handled. The couch is not repairable and it’s “not their problem”. I should have taken a video of how aggressively they pushed the couch through the door. I will update this review as I go through the week and get in touch with customer service.

I need this review to stand out above the rest because the saleswoman who helped my family and I last week at Ashley furniture in Jacksonville NC was absolutely beyond professional and extremely helpful. My Jacksonville NC Ashley Furniture Store experience: First of all, Susan Venanzi is an outstanding ambassador for the company and brand. Two weeks after making our purchase for a leather couch and loveseat while visiting the store another Ashley employee informed me the furniture ordered was possibly being discontinued and that she could help with another purchase if needed. Fortunately, Susan arrived moments later and restored my confidence in Ashley products and assured me that there was no need for concern. Ms. Susan went the extra mile and called me every week to give me updates on my order (four weeks) with that same smiling and welcoming voice. I have read some unfavorable comments previously but I can assure anyone that Susan Venanzi made sure that wasn't my experience. She has my confidence and gratitude for exemplary customer service . We needed to furnish the primary bedroom in our new Jacksonville home. Greg greeted us upon arrival and assisted us in making our purchase. He was terrific. The set had to be ordered. The bed, nightstand, and mirror were all delivered without issue. The dresser was another story! It arrived at our home damaged three times! The third time, it wasn’t unboxed until it arrived at our house! The delivery teams, in each case were amazingly professional. The best part of our experience was dealing with Rachel. With each failed delivery, she grew even more determined to make it right… and she did! The fourth time was a charm. Rachel went way above and beyond, even taking my call while at a dr’s appointment. Rachel is a Customer Service Superstar!

My roommate and I went there to look at getting an office desk, didn't want to be followed the whole time and we kept saying WE just want to look around but this bigger sweaty guy, sales worker followed us the whole time plopping on whatever furniture was nearby us, things we would look at he’d see a compartment on the side of a desk and say “right, thats where you hide the stash” which whatever but then he was commenting on my weight and laughing at me about my size making jokes. Very professional. Nobody wants a fat sweaty guy following you the whole time.

Rude company full of liars. They lied to us about the timeframe in which we would be receiving our furniture which was a dealbreaker. So they lied to get us to purchase the couches from them. Then when we called cooperate about it they were extremely rude and tried ti tell us that we were quoted the right amount of time but we just didn’t know how the process worked. So it was our fault. Then when we asked to speak to a supervisor because that didn’t make sense and she was being extremely rude and blaming us for not knowing she said she was the supervisor and there was nobody higher than her that we could speak to. Period. I feel completely duped into buying this furniture from this company and would have bought it from a furniture distributors who had them in stock had I know how shady the Ashley furniture cooperate was.

Ms. Rachel met us shortly after we walked into the Ashley’s Furniture store in Jacksonville, NC. Her personality, salesmanship and professionalism was truly 5 star+. She let us browse and at no point was she intrusive with our browsing. When it came time to have question answered, she made herself available and began working with us to find the appropriate living room furniture. This was one of the few experiences I’ve had, were the salesperson wasn’t a vulture following us around. Since we didn’t have the exact measurements, Ms Rachel continued helping us via text, when we got home. The following day, Ms. Rachel made herself available to help us seek out the right stuff, which she did. She is a roll model salesperson and our business relationship was off the hook. After having a really terrible experience ordering a sectional at another local store, I called Ashley to see if they could help. First, I spoke with Renita. After explaining to her that I had been waiting 3 months for the couch I ordered from another store, I told her I was hoping someone could give me a time frame on how long it would be to order the same one from Ashley. Miss Renita immediately got me to Rachel, who was able to get me a quote immediately, which was WAY less than what I paid at the other place, and let me know that they had that sofa (at least most of it) in stock. The very next morning I signed my paperwork and they placed my order. The next day, their warehouse reached out to schedule delivery and I had the ENTIRE sectional delivered to my door and set up in my living room in less than a week. Rachel and Renita really went out of their way to make me feel special and sympathized with me, and turned the terrible experience I had with their competitors into an extremely positive one at Ashley Furniture. I highly recommend this store and Rachel and Renita for their wonderful customer service and for going above and beyond for me and my family!

Please do yourself a favor and avoid Ashley furniture. My family recently spent $6,000 on a dining table set and bedroom set. The delivery team caused damage to our home and a piece of furniture. Six weeks later and still trying to get a delivery team that isn’t completely incompetent to deliver the new one. The store doesn’t want to hear from you once the sale is made. The customer service center is nothing but hostile, unfriendly, and completely incompetent reps. We will NEVER buy from this store again.

Walked in to just browse the mattress selection and Alan saw us come through the door. Was quick to get us to the appropriate section. We had him walking back and forth through the store atleast five times. He showed us everything that aligned with our interest and needs. He was honest about the different features and even taught us something we didn’t know about mattresses. Also took the time to teach me how to properly lay in a pillow. He was kind and patient with our children and that’s even hard for me to do. He made sure we were comfortable with quality and in our price range too. We decided to purchase a bundle and some extras that day. If it were not for Alan’s experience and honesty we would not have made a purchase. This is why we continue to bring our business there.

Staff is amazing and helpfull. Not pushy. Reason for 2 stars is more for product. Got a bedroom set and opted for putting the bed together myself and glad I did. I got to see all the flaws in it instead of having someone put it together and not seeing the problems. Wood warped. Bought a queen bed set that my queen bed is to small for. Came in 3 boxes and it doesn't tell you where to start... I feel I would have gotten same quality items from Walmart for a quarter of the cost tried to contact you but wont.let me. We had an amazing experience shopping for a sofa. from the jump Becky warmly greeted us and gave us the opportunity to look around without feeling badgered. she was beyond insightful, interpersonal, and just plain awesome. she let us test out a purple bed and gave us the full experience. she was so so patient and answered every question we had and made sure we knew all of our options. we have yet to receive our sofa but i know my review will not. change. there’s a difference between customer service and customer SERVICE, becky beyond nailed it.

My husband and I always avoided this place, but now... I see the error of our ways. No one was a starving hawk following us through the store and it didn't feel like I was walking through a dimly lit crypt of closeout sofas from 10 years ago. It was the best experience of ALL the furniture stores in town. I fell in love with a ton of their pieces, something that really didn't happen at the other places. I wanted to buy the front showroom despite the fact that we don't have that kind of space. 😅 The price tags at Ashley were lower -even before holiday discounts and our saleslady (blonde and from the area- I'm terrible with names) was amazing. Take time to listen and understand the warranty. Our friends already plan to go to our saleslady. Bring a tape measure and know how much room you are working with. It made the hunt a lot less painful. Touch and grab pillows, check if you can remove covers, and notice the quality of stitches and padding (especially on the arms - you'll find that many are inadequate in all stores). I came in wanting a big fluffy sectional and came out with a leather sofa with a bunch of bells and whistles - hello power recliner and lumbar support that rivals my bed. We could buy 4 lovesac sectionals with what we paid for our couch. It took sitting in it ONCE and I immediately knew I had changed to the dark side (truly, this couch is the orthopedic shoe of couches and it beats aesthetics by far. - I still hate recliner sofas, but this is the exception) P.s. the delivery service was worth it. They were kind, clean, and quick 😂

So grateful that we went to Ashley furniture store (Jacksonville) to get our furniture for our new home. (Moved here a day ago) Firstly, the furniture is so beautiful and the prices are great but the best part was the service we received. We walked in and was welcomed with a very nice smile at the door. We only went there for a couch… I just said what I needed which was a couch with pet friendly material and the lady at the door took us right to it. Very long story short we ended up buying our reclining couch, dining table and chairs, tv stand and a ‘fake fireplace’ place there too at an amazing price. Right in time for Memorial Day sale too. All I can say is, if service is so great why go anywhere else. We also received the most perfect welcome gifts that is traditional to them… a Cross that we happily received and with tears in my eyes. We have been searching online for a sectional couch for a while and set out today to several stores to get a better idea as to what we were looking for in terms of material, size and shape. We hadn’t necessarily intended on purchasing anything today. We finished out furniture store tour at Ashley with a better picture of what we wanted for the space we were filling. We were greeted by a swell gentleman, Mr. Ron P. Of course we gave him a rundown of what we wanted and he pointed us in the direction of our perfect couch. What we were searching for to the T. My husband and I went furniture shopping at Ashley Furniture two weeks ago and found our dream couch ❤️ we were instantly greeted by the friendly salesman Alan who helped us throughout our time shopping. My husband and I went here today to scope out mattresses and furniture. There are less of their cheaper items here which was unfortunate but the employees were wonderful at helping us find options and deals. And while they are a nicer home store, everything looks well worth the price.

Rachel was a blessing in our bed seeking experience; she had informed us that we had arrived at the perfect time as certain beds had been marked down just the day before for some tremendous deals on mattresses AND adjustable bases!! My Fiancé and I ended up going with the Serra Arctic Hybrid Medium Mattress WITH the adjustable base for the markdown price of $1999.99, when the previous price was $5,499.99! Rachel also gave us an amazing deal on a bedroom furniture set, cut our delivery fee(for our mattress) in half, and marked down 4 Large Pictures in addition for us to take home same day! Our Bed arrived the next day, 2 hours early! Within the bedroom set we got; the bed has under bed storage, as was compatible with our mattress and adjustable base, 2, two drawer night stands, a large dresser with Vanity Mirror, and a 5 drawer chest o’ drawers! We are however awaiting the arrival of our bedroom furniture set, but it’s definitely worth the wait with all the savings we acquired upon our visit! My Fiancé went with their 48 month financing option, as it is interest fee, with NO penalty to pay it off early if you choose to do so, in addition to that option, we also got another $300 Off our entire purchase! All in all we got an amazing mattress, an adjustable base, a waterproof mattress cover, two 2 drawer night stands, a large dresser and mirror, a 5 drawer chest o’ drawers, an all inclusive furniture care kit, with fabric refresher, spot cleaner and leather cleaner, as well as 4 large pictures, for less than $120/month!! I would highly recommend Ashley Furniture and HomeStore to anyone and everyone, especially if you’re planning on working with Rachel to better and further the seemingly ever so painful and grueling task of buying furniture, as she made our experience a much better and delightful experience than we ever could’ve imagined, let alone asked for!! I’d like to start off by saying I am a very understanding person. I understood when I bought my bedroom set there would be a few months of waiting. I ordered the Isanti bedroom set in JANUARY 2022. I was told I should receive it in May 2022. Fine. In June 2022 I received HALF of my order which consisted of two dressers. Better than nothing I guess. Here I am in almost February 2023 and I still don’t have my bed frame or nightstand. So in between June 2022 and now I’ve been told almost monthly, the rest of my furniture will be here next month. In December, I was told to call at the beginning of Jan. I gave them til today (the 31st), called them and I was told it’s now the end of FEBRUARY. I keep telling myself to wait it out because getting my money back and waiting for another set is a hassle but this is ridiculous. Don’t do business with the Ashley Furniture or any of them. Will shop local from now on.

I accompanied my friend to help her pick some furniture with Tony Edging at Ashley Furniture. He was very friendly and easy for her to work with. The whole process was simple and Nancy Schoof in customer service was very nice checking her out and explaining the care products. A few days after I wanted to purchase a few matching chairs as a housewarming gift and Tony was off so over the phone Nancy helped me place this order and was just so sweet to work with on this. I spoke with her several times on the phone and she was always so pleasant and helpful. We picked up the the chairs and found my friend no longer wanted these. I called the store to find my options at this point to be able to return these and Nancy apologized saying there was a 20% restocking fee and she felt bad because she knew we had driven 45min to get them and had put them together. Better than a no return policy so we were fine with doing this. Soon after I got a call back from Nancy. She had gone to her manager on her own and explained what had happened. The store manager Bobby Kitko remembered us from picking up the day before and said they would resell them on the floor and to not charge us the restocking fee. I feel this all went beyond normal customer service and was such a heart touching moment when Nancy went out of her way for us. Everyone in the store is just so pleasant to deal with and the store manager even gave me a hug when I went to thank him for being so kind. Would highly recommend doing business at this Ashley Home Store in Jacksonville, NC! Well done all around!

My husband and I visited the Ashley furniture home store in Jacksonville. Before we walked into the store, we had agreed on a spending limit for the items that we wanted. Rachel greeted us and wasn’t that typical pushy sales associate. Rachel told us where to find dining tables and living room sets. After looking around, we sat down with Rachel and discussed different options. Rachel was incredibly helpful and gave us big savings. It’s not easy shopping in this financial climate that we’re in. We let her know that we were visiting Furniture Fair to see what they had. It was very disappointing to view the merchandise at Furniture Fair. It was almost as if that was where furniture went to die. So, we returned to Ashley and we chose a huge sectional, a dining table with six chairs, and the matching hutch. Rachel listened and understood what we were wanting for our home. Even though it was a sales floor, we felt relaxed and not pressured into a decision. Very happy and we’re new customers for life.

I bought a new Iiving room set for myself as a birthday gift. We had some issues with the delivery & set up. It took about 3 weeks when all was said and done. I worked with Rachel for both the sale and the following troubles. We were able to text back and forth (instead of me going into the store several times and I *hate* talking on the phone so this was really convenient for me) she also went out of her way to compensate me for all the troubles. My family and I are happy with the new purchases when all is said and done!

3 stars is Fair! The product itself is nice if it doesn’t come damaged. But customer service is a joke. You have to plead and beg the sale associate to get you status on where your stuff is at and you get told a whole different story when it doesn’t make it on the day of delivery. Very disappointed! It’s unfortunate that they are the only decent furniture store in town but I learnt my lesson, I will go wherever I have to for my future purchases. Zero follow up and throughs. Get paid for the sale and abandon your client is how this place functions. Happy Shopping! You might be lucky to not have the sales rep I dealt with.

I placed an order over a month ago for a coffee table and two side tables . I was verbally told as well as it is on the paperwork that my order would arrive in 2-4 weeks . We are now over the time period for my furniture to come in . I have called many times and I am getting the same story over and over again. I am being told my items are sitting in the warehouse and should arrive to the store at the end of the week . This has been going on for three weeks now . I do not recommend this store to anyone . They lie to the consumers and the last lady I spoke to on the phone was beyond unprofessional. She had a very unprofessional tone and then proceeded to hang the phone up on me . Buyer beware do not shop here .

This store has done everything in the world and more to making my experience exceptional. I am very pleased with their service and care. Thank you for working so hard and bending over backwards even when things were beyond your control. I'm calling out the folks worthy of recognition, whether it was their time or careful consideration of working with us, they made our experience great: Bobby, Brendan, Tony, Renita, Nancy and a few others but truth be told, I'm bad with names. Our sales rep was Tony, I would recommend seeing him. We kept him on his toes and he had to use white out about 100 times because we kept modifying and adding to our order. 😀

The store has some really great reclining options. Some of the couches have hidden comartments for gummy bears, beef jerky, and chilled liquor. Each time we visited we were greeted by an employee. Rachel was very enthusiastic and attentive. I reckon we got a good price for the furniture we decided to purchase.

I can’t stress this enough, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Not this store, but Ashley in general. Bought some furniture for our house months ago. Had a variety of issues (improper cut sizes, terrible service, sending us wrong replacement sizes, sending stuff to our apartment, etc). Whatever, it happens and we made it work. Ordered a bunk bed over HALF A YEAR AGO. Seriously, I forgot I ordered it multiple times. Bed finally arrives, once again to our apartment instead of our delivery address, so now it’s my responsibility to transport it an hour away. Delivery would have probably been quicker if Ashley didn’t outsource their production to Vietnam. Start putting together furniture and the screws aren’t in labeled bags so I have to figure out which ones go where. Nbd, but frustrating. Multiple parts, including the weight-bearing ladder, had holes bore too small so as I added screws the cheap wood splintered. Great. The support boards are cheap and unfinished so when you make the bed splinters get stuck in everything. Finally finished and went to remove the “MADE IN VIETNAM” stickers but the stickers are super cheap and rip off in tiny pieces. Nbd except to get them off I have to leave scratches all over my new furniture. Honestly, if you are looking for good quality and quick pick up/delivery, check out The Basement. It’s a local antique shop that refinishes beautiful and affordable pieces of furniture. Honorable mention to our floor rep, Angie, who legitimately was very helpful and communicative during the whole process.

The shopping experience was great! I was helped by Becky who was incredibly helpful and very sweet. She let me move pillows and ottomans around the store to find the combo of living room seating that was perfect for me: how firm or soft I like the cushions, how I want the fabric to feel, everything! The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because I spent a little more than I was hoping to, and it is going to take a couple of months to get delivered.

All I can say is Becky is AMAZING! She has helped us multiple times picking out furniture for our house and most recently she helped us with a mattress and adjustable base. Not only does she listen to what you want but she asks questions to find out what’s most important to you. She is so honest and does not just want you to make a purchase you aren’t completely happy with which is a breath of fresh air. It has taken us a year of going back and fourth on a mattress and upgrading to a king bed. Each time she was helpful and her patience with us really helped us get exactly what we wanted. Also if you have kids Becky’s is not only patient but she interacts with them too! My boys felt so special, she has a perfect touch of making them feel like they are included in the process. Seriously love her and have already gone back to her several times and will continue to only work with her in the future!

My furniture was delivered damaged not once but twice. Reaching anyone by phone was almost impossible including Becky. The delivery men were beyond rude and one even walked out in the middle of our conversation when I was explaining that I was told to take pictures of damages and to keep the furniture until a replacement was brought (they took it and didn’t let me take pictures). Moral of the story, they take your money and after your card is swiped they no longer care and you end up waiting hours on the phone getting transferred endlessly and you’re just another sale under their belt. Definitely will never recommend or shop here again.

Had a very good experience at Ashley but mostly because of the sales associate that helped me. Rachel. She kept up with me and answered all my questions I had in between purchase and waiting for the shipment. I was quoted 8-16 weeks and it really only took about 3-4. When I had a conflict with the delivery department she got everything figured out for me even though it was her day off. Will absolutely be working with her again if we decide to purchase more furniture.

She was very helpful since we wanted living room, kitchen and bedroom furniture. We needed it to go with the themes of each room and stay under budget.

We were shopping for mattresses, sectional, and dining table. We met Becky. She is amazing. She knew exactly what we wanted in the mattresses. Unfortunately the table we wanted was discontinued and we could not decide on the sofa but she showed us a patio set that we loved. Her service and ability to help and guide customers is over the top. She is now my go to person for all my furniture needs. Thank you Becky!!!

Not happy with them delivery very slowly just not a good place to shop and the furniture is not that good

We came in to get some furniture for our new home that was being built and that’s we met Rachel. Her up beat personality and great knowledge of the furniture catalog allowed us to pick enough pieces to furnish about 4 rooms in our home. She was honest, helpful and she didn’t just let us pick random stuff. She sat with us and went over our needs and wants and helped us made a very good sound decision. High recommend Rachel, RETAIN AND PROMOTE!

We have many items from Ashley furniture store in our home, so we know it’s decent furniture. Moving to NC, we have gone in on two occasions and both of these experiences were off putting and pressured, ultimately leading to us take our business elsewhere. I understand you have to make a sale. But on both occasions we were immediately approached by salespeople that continued to hover, not allow us to browse as we would like, and clearly wanted us to buy. We entered the store on our second experience saying we wanted to browse and the saleswoman immediately used crude humor telling us there’s no browsing here and continued to hover over us the entire time we were in the store. Overall, our experiences were over bearing, not allowing us as the customer to make our own decisions, and making unprofessional comments. Please allow your customers to shop and assist them as needed.

My wife and I went in looking for a new mattress and Becky jumped right in and helped us. She found a couple different beds for us to test out and gave us all the benefits of each one. First off, Ashley Furniture has very well constructed, quality furniture - which is well known and why myself and my significant other decided to visit the store in Jacksonville, NC on Western Blvd to look to furnish our new home. As soon as we made it into the store we were embraced and helped out by sales representative Becky Milligan, and she was responsible for our 5 star experience being what it was. Incredibly knowledgeable about all of the available products, wonderful interpersonal skills, not pushy in the least bit, and she was not out on the floor just to make money - she seemed as though she really loves and believes in what she does. I would recommend that anybody who is willing to invest in quality furniture and spend a little bit more money for something that lasts to visit Ashley Furniture… and ask for Becky!!

Every time I call they keep pushing back when my order will be ready. 2nd week of Oct, never received a call. I contacted them they said 2nd week of Nov, again heard nothing so I called now saying 2nd week of Dec. it’s a joke however I already paid for it and have none of it. Called told them I just wanted to cancel order and get my money back. They stated I’d receive my money minus $800 due to canceling order.

Was not hounded upon walking in. Extremely friendly and family oriented staff who took time to understand what I needed for my vision. Came in looking for nightstands before a new living room purchase, but Becky sealed the deal and got me what I wanted and then some keeping me well within my budget.

We ordered all new furniture to fill our new home. At first it could not have gotten any worse with everything from damaged furniture upon delivery to strong off gas odors, etc. But then the store manager, BOBBY, got involved and handled everything very professionaly and promptly. BOBBY updated me consistently throughout the process. It's one thing when a manager helps out but an entire different perspective when the manager goes above and beyond to make things right. I would recommend or buy from BOBBY anytime.

If you need furniture if any kind, RUN to this store!! The floor is displayed beautifully and it is run by the kindest team you will ever meet. Manager Rachel greeted us at the door when we came in, assisted us with some items we were looking at, and while we were at home measuring, she continued to keep an eye out for items that would help fill our empty house. We honestly came just for a couch as that was our main concern, but Rachel’s keen eye helped us find so many things that we would have never found on our own.
