Susan! Have you ever met someone so kind and so approachable you forget your buying something instead of just chatting with a friend? That is the buying experience you get from Susan. She already knows everything about the furniture and if there are particular pieces of information you're dying to know which my wife had, she can find them either in her head or with a quick look. We found what we wanted online and Susan was able to beat the brakes off the online price. She also divulged that working with Ashley face to face is a big asset to consumers in the event the piece of furniture does come with an issue or is damaged in route. If you buy from Corporate Ashley (Ashley.com) consumers are on the hook to ship the item back to Ashley and figure that fun stuff out If you buy from an Ashley store that's who processes a future claim and works through those steps instead of all of that headache being put on the buyer to figure out. We needed to furnish the primary bedroom in our new Jacksonville home. Greg greeted us upon arrival and assisted us in making our purchase. He was terrific. The set had to be ordered. The bed, nightstand, and mirror were all delivered without issue. The dresser was another story! It arrived at our home damaged three times! The third time, it wasn’t unboxed until it arrived at our house! The delivery teams, in each case were amazingly professional. The best part of our experience was dealing with Rachel. With each failed delivery, she grew even more determined to make it right… and she did! The fourth time was a charm. Rachel went way above and beyond, even taking my call while at a dr’s appointment. Rachel is a Customer Service Superstar!

Rachel went above and beyond from the purchase of my couch to after delivery. I came in and knew what I wanted and she recognized that I wanted to get in and out as fast as possible. My roommate and I went there to look at getting an office desk, didn't want to be followed the whole time and we kept saying WE just want to look around but this bigger sweaty guy, sales worker followed us the whole time plopping on whatever furniture was nearby us, things we would look at he’d see a compartment on the side of a desk and say “right, thats where you hide the stash” which whatever but then he was commenting on my weight and laughing at me about my size making jokes. Very professional. Nobody wants a fat sweaty guy following you the whole time.

My husband and I truly had a great experience at our Jacksonville, NC Ashley store. It was nice not being bombarded by salespeople at every turn. Rude company full of liars. They lied to us about the timeframe in which we would be receiving our furniture which was a dealbreaker. So they lied to get us to purchase the couches from them. Then when we called cooperate about it they were extremely rude and tried ti tell us that we were quoted the right amount of time but we just didn’t know how the process worked. So it was our fault. Then when we asked to speak to a supervisor because that didn’t make sense and she was being extremely rude and blaming us for not knowing she said she was the supervisor and there was nobody higher than her that we could speak to. Period. I feel completely duped into buying this furniture from this company and would have bought it from a furniture distributors who had them in stock had I know how shady the Ashley furniture cooperate was.

Ms. Rachel met us shortly after we walked into the Ashley’s Furniture store in Jacksonville, NC. Her personality, salesmanship and professionalism was truly 5 star+. She let us browse and at no point was she intrusive with our browsing. When it came time to have question answered, she made herself available and began working with us to find the appropriate living room furniture. This was one of the few experiences I’ve had, were the salesperson wasn’t a vulture following us around. Since we didn’t have the exact measurements, Ms Rachel continued helping us via text, when we got home. The following day, Ms. Rachel made herself available to help us seek out the right stuff, which she did. She is a roll model salesperson and our business relationship was off the hook. After having a really terrible experience ordering a sectional at another local store, I called Ashley to see if they could help. First, I spoke with Renita. After explaining to her that I had been waiting 3 months for the couch I ordered from another store, I told her I was hoping someone could give me a time frame on how long it would be to order the same one from Ashley. Miss Renita immediately got me to Rachel, who was able to get me a quote immediately, which was WAY less than what I paid at the other place, and let me know that they had that sofa (at least most of it) in stock. The very next morning I signed my paperwork and they placed my order. The next day, their warehouse reached out to schedule delivery and I had the ENTIRE sectional delivered to my door and set up in my living room in less than a week. Rachel and Renita really went out of their way to make me feel special and sympathized with me, and turned the terrible experience I had with their competitors into an extremely positive one at Ashley Furniture. I highly recommend this store and Rachel and Renita for their wonderful customer service and for going above and beyond for me and my family!

Please do yourself a favor and avoid Ashley furniture. My family recently spent $6,000 on a dining table set and bedroom set. The delivery team caused damage to our home and a piece of furniture. Six weeks later and still trying to get a delivery team that isn’t completely incompetent to deliver the new one. The store doesn’t want to hear from you once the sale is made. The customer service center is nothing but hostile, unfriendly, and completely incompetent reps. We will NEVER buy from this store again.

Walked in to just browse the mattress selection and Alan saw us come through the door. Was quick to get us to the appropriate section. We had him walking back and forth through the store atleast five times. He showed us everything that aligned with our interest and needs. He was honest about the different features and even taught us something we didn’t know about mattresses. Also took the time to teach me how to properly lay in a pillow. He was kind and patient with our children and that’s even hard for me to do. He made sure we were comfortable with quality and in our price range too. We decided to purchase a bundle and some extras that day. If it were not for Alan’s experience and honesty we would not have made a purchase. This is why we continue to bring our business there.

Staff is amazing and helpfull. Not pushy. Reason for 2 stars is more for product. Got a bedroom set and opted for putting the bed together myself and glad I did. I got to see all the flaws in it instead of having someone put it together and not seeing the problems. Wood warped. Bought a queen bed set that my queen bed is to small for. Came in 3 boxes and it doesn't tell you where to start... I feel I would have gotten same quality items from Walmart for a quarter of the cost tried to contact you but wont.let me. The Jacksonville, IL Store and Staff were incredible! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to look at living room furniture. They answered all of our questions and were able to help us make a wonderful decision on a new sofa. They even helped us afterwards when our truck wouldn't start! We had an amazing experience shopping for a sofa. from the jump Becky warmly greeted us and gave us the opportunity to look around without feeling badgered. she was beyond insightful, interpersonal, and just plain awesome. she let us test out a purple bed and gave us the full experience. she was so so patient and answered every question we had and made sure we knew all of our options. we have yet to receive our sofa but i know my review will not. change. there’s a difference between customer service and customer SERVICE, becky beyond nailed it.

When the furniture was delivered on a Saturday, some of the assembly hardware was missing and I called Rachel. My husband and I always avoided this place, but now... I see the error of our ways. No one was a starving hawk following us through the store and it didn't feel like I was walking through a dimly lit crypt of closeout sofas from 10 years ago. It was the best experience of ALL the furniture stores in town. I fell in love with a ton of their pieces, something that really didn't happen at the other places. I wanted to buy the front showroom despite the fact that we don't have that kind of space. 😅 The price tags at Ashley were lower -even before holiday discounts and our saleslady (blonde and from the area- I'm terrible with names) was amazing. Take time to listen and understand the warranty. Our friends already plan to go to our saleslady. Bring a tape measure and know how much room you are working with. It made the hunt a lot less painful. Touch and grab pillows, check if you can remove covers, and notice the quality of stitches and padding (especially on the arms - you'll find that many are inadequate in all stores). I came in wanting a big fluffy sectional and came out with a leather sofa with a bunch of bells and whistles - hello power recliner and lumbar support that rivals my bed. We could buy 4 lovesac sectionals with what we paid for our couch. It took sitting in it ONCE and I immediately knew I had changed to the dark side (truly, this couch is the orthopedic shoe of couches and it beats aesthetics by far. - I still hate recliner sofas, but this is the exception) P.s. the delivery service was worth it. They were kind, clean, and quick 😂

So grateful that we went to Ashley furniture store (Jacksonville) to get our furniture for our new home. (Moved here a day ago) Firstly, the furniture is so beautiful and the prices are great but the best part was the service we received. We walked in and was welcomed with a very nice smile at the door. We only went there for a couch… I just said what I needed which was a couch with pet friendly material and the lady at the door took us right to it. Very long story short we ended up buying our reclining couch, dining table and chairs, tv stand and a ‘fake fireplace’ place there too at an amazing price. Right in time for Memorial Day sale too. All I can say is, if service is so great why go anywhere else. We also received the most perfect welcome gifts that is traditional to them… a Cross that we happily received and with tears in my eyes. We have been searching online for a sectional couch for a while and set out today to several stores to get a better idea as to what we were looking for in terms of material, size and shape. We hadn’t necessarily intended on purchasing anything today. We finished out furniture store tour at Ashley with a better picture of what we wanted for the space we were filling. We were greeted by a swell gentleman, Mr. Ron P. Of course we gave him a rundown of what we wanted and he pointed us in the direction of our perfect couch. What we were searching for to the T. His knowledge of the stores inventory and sense for what we needed truly exceeded our expectations. He helped us find our perfect couch for a great price. My husband and I went furniture shopping at Ashley Furniture two weeks ago and found our dream couch ❤️ we were instantly greeted by the friendly salesman Alan who helped us throughout our time shopping. Our Bed arrived the next day, 2 hours early! I walked in to the home store with no intention of finding anything I would want to purchase. After a walk a round I ended up really loving some of the options on the floor. The staff was amazing! literally has the same exact sets as just about every other furniture store in Jacksonville except hundreds more and the staff was pushy and wouldn't leave us alone to look around even after telling them multiple times we just wanted to look

Awesome experience with Mr. Gibson! Very professional and respectful of what our family needed and was looking for. He followed up with us but allowed us plenty of space and time to reflect on what we were comfortable with. Definitely recommend visiting him!

I’d like to start off by saying I am a very understanding person. I understood when I bought my bedroom set there would be a few months of waiting. I ordered the Isanti bedroom set in JANUARY 2022. I was told I should receive it in May 2022. Fine. In June 2022 I received HALF of my order which consisted of two dressers. Better than nothing I guess. Here I am in almost February 2023 and I still don’t have my bed frame or nightstand. So in between June 2022 and now I’ve been told almost monthly, the rest of my furniture will be here next month. In December, I was told to call at the beginning of Jan. I gave them til today (the 31st), called them and I was told it’s now the end of FEBRUARY. I keep telling myself to wait it out because getting my money back and waiting for another set is a hassle but this is ridiculous. Don’t do business with the Ashley Furniture or any of them. Will shop local from now on.

Great experience ! Mrs. Becky greeted us as soon as we walked in and was willing to do whatever to help ! She was able to help us out so much and was nothing but friendly . We gained a couch and a new friend .

Ron Pollard was amazing! He greeted us the second we walked in the door and guided us through our shopping experience. His tact and finesse was the perfect balance of autonomy and guidance while we shopped. He answered all of our questions and took the time to explain things. He never pushed for a sale or any particular item, instead he took the time to learn what our taste was and what we were looking for. She spent extra time to ensure we got the best deal possible. We also looked at some sectional couches. Becky was able to give us the dimensions and price for the sectionals we were interested in. Not only was Becky knowledgeable, she was also so sweet with our 3 year old daughter and ended our purchase with lollipops! Made the 3 years old day. I accompanied my friend to help her pick some furniture with Tony Edging at Ashley Furniture. He was very friendly and easy for her to work with. The whole process was simple and Nancy Schoof in customer service was very nice checking her out and explaining the care products. A few days after I wanted to purchase a few matching chairs as a housewarming gift and Tony was off so over the phone Nancy helped me place this order and was just so sweet to work with on this. I spoke with her several times on the phone and she was always so pleasant and helpful. We picked up the the chairs and found my friend no longer wanted these. I called the store to find my options at this point to be able to return these and Nancy apologized saying there was a 20% restocking fee and she felt bad because she knew we had driven 45min to get them and had put them together. Better than a no return policy so we were fine with doing this. Soon after I got a call back from Nancy. She had gone to her manager on her own and explained what had happened. The store manager Bobby Kitko remembered us from picking up the day before and said they would resell them on the floor and to not charge us the restocking fee. I feel this all went beyond normal customer service and was such a heart touching moment when Nancy went out of her way for us. Everyone in the store is just so pleasant to deal with and the store manager even gave me a hug when I went to thank him for being so kind. My husband and I visited the Ashley furniture home store in Jacksonville. Before we walked into the store, we had agreed on a spending limit for the items that we wanted. Rachel greeted us and wasn’t that typical pushy sales associate. Rachel told us where to find dining tables and living room sets. After looking around, we sat down with Rachel and discussed different options. Rachel was incredibly helpful and gave us big savings. It’s not easy shopping in this financial climate that we’re in. We let her know that we were visiting Furniture Fair to see what they had. It was very disappointing to view the merchandise at Furniture Fair. It was almost as if that was where furniture went to die. So, we returned to Ashley and we chose a huge sectional, a dining table with six chairs, and the matching hutch. Rachel listened and understood what we were wanting for our home. Even though it was a sales floor, we felt relaxed and not pressured into a decision. Very happy and we’re new customers for life.

I bought a new Iiving room set for myself as a birthday gift. We had some issues with the delivery & set up. It took about 3 weeks when all was said and done. I worked with Rachel for both the sale and the following troubles. We were able to text back and forth (instead of me going into the store several times and I *hate* talking on the phone so this was really convenient for me) she also went out of her way to compensate me for all the troubles. My family and I are happy with the new purchases when all is said and done!

3 stars is Fair! The product itself is nice if it doesn’t come damaged. But customer service is a joke. You have to plead and beg the sale associate to get you status on where your stuff is at and you get told a whole different story when it doesn’t make it on the day of delivery. Very disappointed! It’s unfortunate that they are the only decent furniture store in town but I learnt my lesson, I will go wherever I have to for my future purchases. Zero follow up and throughs. Get paid for the sale and abandon your client is how this place functions. Happy Shopping! You might be lucky to not have the sales rep I dealt with.

I placed an order over a month ago for a coffee table and two side tables . I was verbally told as well as it is on the paperwork that my order would arrive in 2-4 weeks . We are now over the time period for my furniture to come in . I have called many times and I am getting the same story over and over again. I am being told my items are sitting in the warehouse and should arrive to the store at the end of the week . This has been going on for three weeks now . I do not recommend this store to anyone . They lie to the consumers and the last lady I spoke to on the phone was beyond unprofessional. She had a very unprofessional tone and then proceeded to hang the phone up on me . Buyer beware do not shop here .

This store has done everything in the world and more to making my experience exceptional. I am very pleased with their service and care. Thank you for working so hard and bending over backwards even when things were beyond your control. I'm calling out the folks worthy of recognition, whether it was their time or careful consideration of working with us, they made our experience great: Bobby, Brendan, Tony, Renita, Nancy and a few others but truth be told, I'm bad with names. Our sales rep was Tony, I would recommend seeing him. We kept him on his toes and he had to use white out about 100 times because we kept modifying and adding to our order. 😀

My wife, daughter and I went in to look at a zero gravity couch and met Greg. He was a great salesman! He wasn't pushy at all, let us look and checked in at the perfect times. Once we found our perfect piece he worked with us on pricing with the sales event going on and delivery. Greg was very upfront about everything, from the deliver times and color options effecting those timings of inventory. He helped us decide which deliver option was best for our needs. The store has some really great reclining options. Some of the couches have hidden comartments for gummy bears, beef jerky, and chilled liquor. Each time we visited we were greeted by an employee. Rachel was very enthusiastic and attentive. I reckon we got a good price for the furniture we decided to purchase.

I can’t stress this enough, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Not this store, but Ashley in general. Bought some furniture for our house months ago. Had a variety of issues (improper cut sizes, terrible service, sending us wrong replacement sizes, sending stuff to our apartment, etc). Whatever, it happens and we made it work. Ordered a bunk bed over HALF A YEAR AGO. Seriously, I forgot I ordered it multiple times. Bed finally arrives, once again to our apartment instead of our delivery address, so now it’s my responsibility to transport it an hour away. Delivery would have probably been quicker if Ashley didn’t outsource their production to Vietnam. Start putting together furniture and the screws aren’t in labeled bags so I have to figure out which ones go where. Nbd, but frustrating. Multiple parts, including the weight-bearing ladder, had holes bore too small so as I added screws the cheap wood splintered. Great. The support boards are cheap and unfinished so when you make the bed splinters get stuck in everything. Finally finished and went to remove the “MADE IN VIETNAM” stickers but the stickers are super cheap and rip off in tiny pieces. Nbd except to get them off I have to leave scratches all over my new furniture. Honestly, if you are looking for good quality and quick pick up/delivery, check out The Basement. It’s a local antique shop that refinishes beautiful and affordable pieces of furniture. Honorable mention to our floor rep, Angie, who legitimately was very helpful and communicative during the whole process.

The shopping experience was great! I was helped by Becky who was incredibly helpful and very sweet. She let me move pillows and ottomans around the store to find the combo of living room seating that was perfect for me: how firm or soft I like the cushions, how I want the fabric to feel, everything! All I can say is Becky is AMAZING! She has helped us multiple times picking out furniture for our house and most recently she helped us with a mattress and adjustable base. Not only does she listen to what you want but she asks questions to find out what’s most important to you. She is so honest and does not just want you to make a purchase you aren’t completely happy with which is a breath of fresh air. It has taken us a year of going back and fourth on a mattress and upgrading to a king bed. Each time she was helpful and her patience with us really helped us get exactly what we wanted. Also if you have kids Becky’s is not only patient but she interacts with them too! My boys felt so special, she has a perfect touch of making them feel like they are included in the process. Seriously love her and have already gone back to her several times and will continue to only work with her in the future!

Wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture Store in Jacksonville. Mrs. Becky Milligan took her time to explain the difference between the mattresses and the adjustable features. We went in just to try which mattress would work best for us at a reasonable cost, but when Mrs. Becky got to us and learned us as people she gained our trust. She was not trying to make commission on another purpose, she really enjoyed explaining the wonderful and not so good features of a mattress. We felt comfortable with her and she was not pushy. Mrs. Becky took the time to learn our children names. She is a true Product Specialist. Even Mrs. Nancy, the Financial Processor, was down to earth and made us feel comfortable. My furniture was delivered damaged not once but twice. Reaching anyone by phone was almost impossible including Becky. The delivery men were beyond rude and one even walked out in the middle of our conversation when I was explaining that I was told to take pictures of damages and to keep the furniture until a replacement was brought (they took it and didn’t let me take pictures). Moral of the story, they take your money and after your card is swiped they no longer care and you end up waiting hours on the phone getting transferred endlessly and you’re just another sale under their belt. Definitely will never recommend or shop here again.

Had a very good experience at Ashley but mostly because of the sales associate that helped me. Rachel. She kept up with me and answered all my questions I had in between purchase and waiting for the shipment. I was quoted 8-16 weeks and it really only took about 3-4. When I had a conflict with the delivery department she got everything figured out for me even though it was her day off. Will absolutely be working with her again if we decide to purchase more furniture.

She was very helpful since we wanted living room, kitchen and bedroom furniture. We needed it to go with the themes of each room and stay under budget.

Her up beat personality and great knowledge of the furniture catalog allowed us to pick enough pieces to furnish about 4 rooms in our home. We have many items from Ashley furniture store in our home, so we know it’s decent furniture. Moving to NC, we have gone in on two occasions and both of these experiences were off putting and pressured, ultimately leading to us take our business elsewhere. I understand you have to make a sale. But on both occasions we were immediately approached by salespeople that continued to hover, not allow us to browse as we would like, and clearly wanted us to buy. We entered the store on our second experience saying we wanted to browse and the saleswoman immediately used crude humor telling us there’s no browsing here and continued to hover over us the entire time we were in the store. Overall, our experiences were over bearing, not allowing us as the customer to make our own decisions, and making unprofessional comments. Please allow your customers to shop and assist them as needed.

First off, Ashley Furniture has very well constructed, quality furniture - which is well known and why myself and my significant other decided to visit the store in Jacksonville, NC on Western Blvd to look to furnish our new home. As soon as we made it into the store we were embraced and helped out by sales representative Becky Milligan, and she was responsible for our 5 star experience being what it was. Incredibly knowledgeable about all of the available products, wonderful interpersonal skills, not pushy in the least bit, and she was not out on the floor just to make money - she seemed as though she really loves and believes in what she does. I would recommend that anybody who is willing to invest in quality furniture and spend a little bit more money for something that lasts to visit Ashley Furniture… and ask for Becky!!

Called told them I just wanted to cancel order and get my money back. They stated I’d receive my money minus $800 due to canceling order.

Pandemic or not bad service is bad service. Bought a bedroom set and couch mid March and was told 16 weeks for delivery. Our sales person said to only contact her for updates and not the store. So we wait, and our couch comes at the expected time but our bedroom set supposed to arrived in June was pushed to July, then I received a call that the bedroom set is pushed to November. Believing this can't be true I called the store and the store and customer service had the expected delivery of august. Asking the store where the timeline of November came from they have no idea. Well the furniture was delivered in august and I just wonder if I only got updates through our sales person if we'd still be waiting till November. Save your money for a different store the mismatch of information along with the delays just create a burden that is not needed.Regardless all associates I spoke with over this duration were all nice. I know they all mean well but the disparity for dates and information is too much.

At first it could not have gotten any worse with everything from damaged furniture upon delivery to strong off gas odors, etc. But then the store manager, BOBBY, got involved and handled everything very professionaly and promptly. BOBBY updated me consistently throughout the process. It's one thing when a manager helps out but an entire different perspective when the manager goes above and beyond to make things right. Shara Bergmann is a very sweet, professional and polite person to deal with here at Ashley Furniture store in Jacksonville NC. She was very patient with me as I made my selections. She was also very knowledgeable about the products in the store. My sofa came much faster than I thought. About 2 weeks earlier. After the sofa was delivered, there was a slight situation with the lack of holds, in the bottom of the sofa, to attach the legs. Customer Service couldn't help me, but Sarah was a "Johnny on the Spot". I called her and within 15 minutes Jeff came by and took care of the problem. The two of them are like a dream team. Thank you Sarah again for all of your help. Jeff was awesome and I am very very happy.

When we made our selection, she was very upfront that our selections would have to be ordered and that inherent delays could be expected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Had some nice things, but man mattresses and many things were overpriced and wouldn't be in for 6 to 12 weeks. What's the point of going to a retail outlet if it's going to take 2 to 3 times as long to get something as it would online... Ridiculous if you ask me. Not worth the time.

When the decision was made on what we wanted, we notified Rachel, she wrote up the order, informed us of the delivery, we paid and was out the door. Been waiting for our couch since December, and when we call our sales man is rude and makes excuses

Edit : our couch and ottoman’s TAT was 6-12 weeks. Couch arrived in 12 weeks and ottoman is planning to arrive tomorrow (14 weeks). After the review, when the delivery time was close to date - Theron communicated with us and helped us to ensure the delivery was made safely. The ottoman was pushed back to september but thanks to Theron it is arriving tomorrow. So thank you Theron! Theron was not helpful with us. He was really awkward, condescending and unpleasant - acted like he was annoyed by us and didnt want to be there. For example when we were finalizing our order we asked if we can double check the paper to see if all the information was correct. He looked at us funny and shrugged saying “fine i guess, yall are getting copies anyways”. It made us very uncomfortable. And he was stating i was speaking loudly when he was trying to give us a deal, and then when i spoke quietly he kept saying he cant hear us. Kudos for ashleys cause we did like the furniture and at the end we purchased it, but we highly suggest not to go with Theron when he approaches you, and go with some other sales person, who is willing to provide you a good/pleasant customer service through out the process.

I have been trying to resolve the extended warranty issue since December. The company has denied a spot cleaning. For no reason. I have kids. I’m bound to get something on the couch eventually. It’s less than 2 years old. Still in good condition except The stickers/couch tags have ruined the cushions underneath from the residue wearing off. The manager of the store won’t even call me back. They keep avoiding the issue and resolving it. I’ve been waiting since December from the warranty company and January from the store, I Called today and insisted I speak with someone. Guess maybe I should look into how many others have had the same treatment. Maybe small claims court , corporate complaints, bbb for false advertising, taking advantage of a military town and families by selling them lies. The lists goes on, buyer beware don’t not shop with them! Cheap furniture and terrible service.

UPDATE...the day I received my furniture I noticed one of the outlets on my nightstands didn’t work. Went to the store to tell them about it, they ordered me a new part and was told it would come in 7-10 days. Here we are four weeks later with no part. Whatever you do, do not buy anything from this store. My experience started off great. When we were browsing the furniture nobody hassled us. Once we picked something out that salesman was very helpful with showing us the mattresses and finalizing the sale. Our order was going to take a few months to come in, but we were assured that once it got closer to the timeframe, that he would be very involved with giving us updates. This is where we started to have problems. I only received updates when I personally called the store, then would only receive a text message in return. Was told one date, so I requested time off work for the delivery. Then a couple days before I had to call to confirm, and was then told (via text again) that the date was pushed back, but nobody let me know. Had to go into the store and speak with a manager to get things settled. Eventually we got a delivery date. The guys who dropped everything off we’re great and put everything exactly where we wanted it. The nightstands we got have power outlets on them. While testing them out, one of them didn’t work. Had to go back to the store and apparently will take about 2 weeks to get fixed. Long story short, the service after the sale is terrible. They got their commission, so afterwards doesn’t seem important to them. There are plenty of other great furniture stores out there which probably have better customer service. Giving 2 stars because the pieces themselves are very nice, if only they came with no issues.

My son and I went to Ashley and bought my D R E A M sectional... all thanks to Theron! He was genuinely kind, personable, and very helpful. I didnt intend on buying anything today but he worked a little magic so i could buy the beauty i fell in love with.. My initial experience upon arrival was not great because I was not greeted or acknowledged when I walked inside the store. I found myself wandering through the store for about 20 minutes and was getting annoyed and ready to leave due to the lack of customer service. Fortunately, once I linked up with Becky, things took a turn for the better. She explained that she was short handed and apologized repeatedly for my negative first impression. Becky quickly began engaging with me and helped me find exactly what I needed. She was very accommodating and was able to turn a negative experience to a positive experience. Becky will definitely be my go to person for all my future purchases from this store.

This review is for Becky at Ashley Home Furniture. We walked in not knowing what wanted for our brand, new home. We recently moved from Virginia Beach to Jacksonville. We decided we should look for some furniture that we needed. Luckily, when we walked in the store, Becky greeted us immediately and showed us around the store. My husband and I decided that we needed a dining table, so we were directed to see the available tables that were in the showroom. From there, my husband and I saw one dining table that we FELL IN LOVE with, and Becky showed us what we could mix and match (dining chair sets, benches, etc.) We were able to choose the items that we wanted to go to along with our dining table. It literally took about 20 minutes to choose our dream dining table set, and towards the end the payment process was painless, and we were out of the showroom within 30 minutes of Becky helping us! Definitely would recommend her, she’s super sweet and attentive and if you need someone to show you the best things in the store, she will also check up on you and give you updates on your order! Even though we have yet to receive our dining table set and chairs after 4 months, we are extremely patient with Becky and still willing to work with her, and she’s always up to date! :-) P.S. I had to dock off one star because we just want to eat on our brand new dining table already, and I don't want my husband eating on top of our coffee table with our brand new white carpet :-(

Awesome Products, pricing and Service! I recommend that the store offers customers wrapping options when purchasing items such as pictures, art deco pieces from the show room floor. Very odd that there is no available wrapping provided.

We purchased multiple furniture sets from this store back in July 2020. Delivery kept being delayed but finally got our bedroom furniture and part of the living room furniture delivered in September. Then after waiting more we finally got them to deliver our couches end of October. Now we are having our dinning room set delivered today but only delivered the table and forgot to load the chairs so we are still waiting for them to be delivered. There was some damages to the bedroom furniture when it was delivered and a drawer was not closing fully and they mailed a replacement drawer but we are still waiting for them to send someone to build it are it was mailed in pieces. While I’m happy with my furniture I’m not happy with the constant delay and delivery process. UPDATE: The chairs were delivered later that day by a supervisor. The delivery drivers that brought the table rushed putting it together and damaged the underside of the table. There were other blemishes as well as the table was uneven and some of the chairs were wobbly as well. We are waiting now waiting for the claim.

I will never do business with Ashley furniture ever again!! Waste of thousands of dollars!! Mark was great helping us with our new bedroom and dining room purchase. My shopping experience was a most pleasant one. My questions were answered and I made the purchase. I was and am aware of the delay in my table arriving which is not a problem. I'm being kept abreast on a regular basis. I appreciate all the help I'm receiving and have received in the past.

We had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Becky Milligan. She was such a huge help and assisted my husband and I with finding the PERFECT mattress for us as I like soft and my husband likes firm. She was so patient as we took our time and tried out all of the mattresses and also extremely knowledgeable in all the products we were asking about (gonna get a sectional soon!) we went in with a price point and I was so relived when she not only respected our price but got us the best deal on the best mattress that we could possibly get! She went above and beyond for us and gave us her full attention. She even recommended the best sushi in town! Ricky Venanzi made my home furnishing experience exciting, easy, and fitting to my budget. Although I went to the store with preferred selections already in mind for three rooms, Ricky took the time to walk me around the entire store. After looking at pictures of my home Ricky suggested a sofa/loveseat that looked better than what I had in mind. Ashley Homestore in Jacksonville showcases beautiful furniture that is more elegant in person than shopping online and very durable. I love everything that I purchased. The wait for delivery was longer than I anticipated but very well worth it. Ricky called me every week with an update on expected distribution dates until I received all of my pieces. I am so pleased with the customer service, furniture, and the delivery process. Thank you Ricky Venanzi and Ashley Homestore of Jacksonville NC! I will be making a return visit and referrals to family and friends.

IF I COULD GIVE HER ALL THE STARS IN THE SKY , WE WOULD! We have bought many pieces from Ashley’s and she has always been so helpful. She has always been my go to girl. I went out to Wilmingtom to look around and got the run around - which brought me right back to Rachel. Excellent customer service ( to include my lady behind the glass) and a great communicator- If she says she can, she will and follows right up. Can’t appreciate her enough!

This place is awful. The furniture is great. I still don’t have what we purchased on 16 June though. The slick salesman originally said he “had to tel us 4-8 weeks, but it would be more like four” because of the quantity of times in the factory. Despite saying he would check on it and contact me weekly, I heard nothing for five weeks. When I finally got in touch with him he told us it would actually be over 9 (!!!!) weeks for the item as to leave the factory (on 20 August). During the ninth week he contacted me and said he is checking on it and would contact me on the 20th. A day passed and more of the same. I called customer service and the manager and now we are told the items with depart the factory on 1 September. 11 weeks after paying it full for living room furniture. Their customer service is terrible. I will NEVER recommend them and am contemplating canceling the order. Worse than the inability to meet timelines and abject failure to communicate with customers is the deflection to “COVID” knowing full well they laid employees off and have yet to hire people back despite the fact that North Carolina is a green state. They are simply attempting to maintain profit margin while transferring the pain to the consumer.

Beautiful furniture

Mark Hopkins was super to work with. No pressure sales, one item they did not offer but I found at another store, he was willing to let me take a pillow from his store to see if the color would work with the sofa from another store. I highly recommend Ashley in Jacksonville and see Mark, he’ll take care of you.

Not a large selection of mid century, if any. Shipping due to COVID, I was told 18 weeks, but read something that indicated less, and received a different answer. Some chairs there were nice and comfy, so much, I didn't want to stand back up, immediately. If you seek typical, traditional furniture, you will likely find what you seek. Salespeople were friendly, definitely not pushy.

I haven't got my bed yet and it's been almost 3 weeks even after the salesman told me it could be there in as early as a week. That said the people seemed nice in person but this wait is killing me and no one has called me back with an ETA like they said they would.

My husband and I went to the Jacksonville Ashley store to shop for a new mattress and was welcomed at the door by Becky. She greeted us warmly and left us to look around. When we were ready to talk seriously she seemed to intuitively know and was right there to help us find just the right mattress. She then gave us an opportunity to decide our financing options. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and we felt comfortable with Becky. She is an excellent representative of Ashley Furniture. Needless to say, we will tell people to ask for her and will return to her for future furniture needs.

Becky was the representative that stood out to my husband and I! She had a fantastic, witty; down to earth personality that didn’t come off as sales prone at all. We made our purchases at Ashley’s Furniture and we are so glad that we did! Will purchase from there in the near future🙂

Ashley has been a go to store for a long time. Today was no different. We had an issue with our mattress, three years after purchase. Mark did everything he could possibly do to make finding our next mattress, with the insurance and amount we had to deal with. I love all the staff that we encountered during this awkward time. Very happy with my new purchase, and completely satisfied with the experience and assistance.

We have been a customer of Ashley Furniture Home Store for 7 years. We love their products and selection but even more so, their customer service and knowledge on their products! Rachel is our go to sales gal. She is always friendly, knows exactly what is in store and offers up great advice when it’s needed. After finding the couch, love seat, and coffee table we wanted at a competing furniture store in the area, I did a quick search and saw the exact same set available at Ashley HomeStore for WAY less. We went to the store right away and were greeted by Meghan. She was so friendly and helpful. They didn't have what we wanted as a floor display, but she helped us find everything and place our order via their online catalog and worked out a great deal (even better than the one I saw originally!). It only took a few weeks for everything to arrive and Meghan kept us informed of our order status regularly. The gentlemen that delivered our furniture were very friendly and helpful. Both they and Meghan helped solve a minor delivery issue right away. Not only was the customer service we received first-class, but the furniture we purchased is absolutely gorgeous and great quality. I will definitely be visiting the Ashley HomeStore in Jacksonville for any future big purchases.

Horrible customer service. I was told 6 weeks for my delivery. I waited patiently and was never advised that my 6 week delivery turned into 12 week delivery. Spoke to Amy on two separate occasions and she was VERY nasty. She does not need to work in Customer Service. I will NEVER do business with them again
