If I could give zero stars I would. First the sofas in the show room are not comparable at all to what you receive. The quality of the sectional that was delivered to us is about the same as a Walmart futon. Next they berate you with a 5 year extended warranty even when you tell them you don’t want it multiple times, but conveniently leave out that there is zero return policy. Once merchandise is delivered, you have to keep it. Our sales associate Doug did not tell us this, and even listened to us talk about how if we didn’t like it in the layout of our home that we could always return it. They won’t even compromise and exchange it for something different. In my opinion this place is shady with how they do business and between the quality of merchandise and customer service, we will never bring business here again and suggest you don’t either.

We purchased a leather recliner and loveseat for 6,000 cash on October 11, 2024. The furniture was reduced to 4,000 on the day we it was delivered October 28, 2024. On 11 /2 2024 , We were waiting to speak to the manager and were told there was no adjustment and nothing could be done. This is outrageous. I will NOT recommend purchasing from this company. We purchased from the Matthews, NC store. I am disappointed and appalled!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Shemora A. was our sales person but could not do anything for us because the manager refused to speak or help us. I will be researching his name as well! I intend to call the corporate office! I want to clarify that Shemora did not do anything wrong. She helped us with negotiating a price. The Management of this store ( Matthews NC) totally ignored is when we asked about an adjustment in pricing. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! DO NOT GET THE DIAMOND CARE PLUS WARRANTY!!! I paid for a 5 year warranty and was told that any stains or tears in my furniture were covered and even according to the pamphlet given it said it would be covered. The warranty provider said that neither the stains or the tears in the furniture were covered. These are the worst quality couches and love seats seriously GO TO LAYZBOY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! Terrible service, terrible response. FURNITURE WAS TRASH AFTER 6 MONTHS DON'T BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel and the staff at Ashley Outlet were amazing. The furniture is all new, so no worries of the usual "Outlet" damaged products. Furniture prices were easily negotiatable to what I was hoping to pay. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the products in-store and was patient with me deciding on the items I was interested in purchasing. Overall, this was a great experience without any pressure to buy.
I've been looking for a kitchen table set at a great price. We visited the Independence Blvd location and the sales rep Doug Dreyer gave us a very good deal on the set we finally settled for. Delivery and set-up was prompt. The counter height set is very high quality wood, it comes with 6 chairs. The gray matches my decor and it has height leveling adjustable front legs on each chair which is a major plus! The chairs are cushioned seats made of durable firm fabric. I'm very satisfied with the service and selection. I'll return to this location in the future. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

We stopped by about a week ago and Shermora helped us. We knew we wanted the same sleigh bed we had purchased a few years ago. We also needed a mattress and she was very helpful with the info on the mattresses they had in stock. She price matched the bed with the price on their website. On a whim, I walked into Ashley's Outlet in search of a reasonably priced sofa that I needed within four days. As soon as I entered, I was warmly greeted by Shermora, who immediately asked how she could assist me. After explaining my needs, we walked through the store together. I narrowed it down to two couches but struggled to decide which one would best fit my living room. I was looking for the right combination of price, size, and comfort, but the color choices were throwing me off. I asked for a second opinion, and Tina joined us. She was fantastic! Together, we reviewed the few pictures I had of my home. Throughout the process, both Tina and Shermora were easy to talk to and made me feel right at home. They were patient, never rushing me or making me feel like a bother, even though I was indecisive. In the end, I decided on the Gaelon and opted for the Diamond Care Plus program. And they were able to deliver in three days! Overall, my experience at Ashley's Outlet was excellent, thanks to the wonderful help from Tina and Shermora!

This place is awesome!! I had been shopping for weeks for living room furniture and hadn’t found what I wanted until the Ashley Outlet. Qay was super, super helpful. I showed her a photo of a chair I liked and she found me the perfect matching couch and love seat. I had called several stores around Charlotte and they were all going to be a 3 week plus delivery but my sales associate Qay was able to get my furniture delivered in 4 days! Overall fantastic experience!

Staff is super friendly and very helpful without hoovering! I hate going to look at a potential purchase and the sales associate won't leave you alone long enough to look and/or decide. Not the case here. You are greeted and left alone. The associate stays close enough so you don't have to hunt the store for them, but far enough away where you don't feel they are shopping with you! Will be back for future purchases because of this!

Nothing like being hussled by a salesman! Met Doug and he seemed like a stand up guy. Ordered our kids new furniture and come to find out, he didn’t order everything he said he did that was not in the store. Had stuff on our forms from him but they state they are quotes not orders. Scrambling to find matching furniture that he claimed to have put on the order but it was warranty that we didn’t ask for. Shows once again we can’t trust anyone. Really let down by this whole experience. Better off just ordering online vs dealing with this mess. And don’t tell me to call/text a number to try to get me to change this. The number doesn’t work.

Edit: I texted the number below with no response. Not surprised. We purchased a couch from Matthews NC Store in November 2023. Almost immediately, we had the ottoman break and they fixed it in February. We were happy with that repair but we noticed that the chaise was also breaking down (the foam) so we asked the repairman to look at it. He said that it definitely needed to be repaired as well. This is where all of the issues began. He ordered the parts when he was at our house, but apparently the order didn't go through. This is ok, because I realize sometimes mistakes happen. My husband called when we didn't hear from Ashley and they reordered the part. When we didn't hear back from them, my husband started contacting them. They keep telling us that they don't have anyone to deliver the foam to our house. We told them we would pick it up and they told us that they will call the warehouse and get back to us but they never called. Starting in July, I took over the phone calls and have gotten no response. I can not get anyone (not a supervisor, manager or even a worker ) to call me back. I'm frustrated beyond belief. I have talked with Maggie, and Shay at the store and have not called back. Alexandra was supposed to call me back but never did. This was a big purchase for us and it has been broken almost the entire time we have owned it. I'm very close to filing a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back. Today, I spoke with Kali in customer service (not at the store) and she told me that after ALL of our phone calls, they did not actually order the foam until July 10th. How on earth could this even happen? I guess once the sale is made, customer service is not important anymore.

This is our second trip to make a purchase from this store. Four years ago we bought a sofa, loveseat, coffee table and end table, which we still really love! This time we were in the market for two recliners. Our salesman, Doug, was amazing. He gave us space to try everything out (they had a great selection!) but was never very far if we had questions. In the end we chose two beautiful dark blue leather recliners which should be delivered, carried up our stairs, and set up in our loft. Super excited to get them!

Took my money never provided me the money back mentioned that it will be credit never credited my money, now saying you can’t use it and worst quality never waste your money buying furniture from Ashley. Bought a couch with my credit card. We went in and decided in 5 minutes. We then had to wait for 45 minutes while they tried to make their system work. Today I look at my bank and see that I was charged twice. I was nice on the phone but the store manager didn't even apologize but said to wait a few days. She seemed unconcerned that I might be charged credit card interest on that amount(my billing cycle ends tomorrow). I should be going to work but now I have to spend another 45 minutes on a call with my bank. They do not respect your time or money, go elsewhere.

On May 11, I asked a seller for a bed and a mattress for my 3-year-old daughter. It took a month to deliver my order and after the fact they sent me what I had not ordered in my purchase. It was a mistake on the part of the seller since I explained to him with photos what exactly I wanted. I am asking for a refund or help with my problem but no one is helping me. I have called and texted their customer service team but no one helped me. Terrible customer service.

I am very disappointed with the policies of Ashley Furniture. Please be very careful with any purchase made with them. I had very bad experience with them in my very first purchase in United States. I bought one bedroom set from Ashley and that delivered on time but at the time of delivery I wanted to return one item as it was not fitting in my bedroom. Delivery Team refused to take by asking they can't take that and i have to contact Ashley customer care for any return. Upon contacting Customer Care initially, they agreed to take my return request but later they refused my request, so please very careful while doing any purchase from Ashley Stores.
I was looking for a specific piece of furniture and Daniel was awesome. He pulled it up on the computer and it was ordered and set up for delivery within 20 minutes. It will be delivered in a few days. Easy to deal with Daniel and he was very efficient.

I am utterly disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience at Ashley Furniture. Never again will I be fooled by their "nice" assistants at the store.they are very polite and accommodating to sell you the furniture but after you bought it you won’t get any help. We received a $300 coupon from Ashley, so we decided to visit the store and found a coffee table priced at $800. They offered it to us for $500, and we made the purchase, with the scheduled pickup set for mid-December 2023. However, when I called to inquire about the status of my order, they informed me that the table was not available in stock and would reach out when it was. Two months passed without any communication, so I called again to cancel my order, only to be told that the table was now available for pickup. After making a one-hour drive to pick it up, we discovered upon opening the box at home that it was not the table we ordered. It was a different color entirely. When I called on Monday to report the issue and request a refund and return, I was shocked to learn that Ashley has a strict no-return policy. I should have checked the item at the pickup location and called immediately the same day if there was an issue, or else they would not accept returns or replacements. After speaking with four representatives and finally reaching a supervisor, I received the same disappointing response. Now, I am stuck with a table I never intended to buy, after waiting almost three months. To add insult to injury, I discovered online that the original price of this table was around $500, not the inflated $800 they claimed. The $300 coupon we received was nothing but a scam.( no wonder there is a section C law suit against the company) I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again. Their customer service is absent, and they show no regard for rectifying their mistakes. Don't be deceived like we were—avoid Ashley Furniture or, at the very least, ensure you are aware of their strict no-return policy before making a purchase.
The team at Ashley was great to work with. Shermora and Dough were on top of it!They worked to ensure we got the best deal on our furniture and helped us to later process payment over the phone before the Presidents’ Day sale ended. Our furniture is also being delivered in only 5 days from purchase! One of the fastest delivery times I have seen.

I had the pleasure of working w today at Ashley Home Outlet store in Matthews, NC. I needed several df items for my new townhome and Daniel/ Ashley had me covered. I was in the store for two hours and Daniel helped me every step of the way...including applying for a cc to purchase the furniture w. O interest from 24 months! After having a bad experience with vale city furniture, my wife and I went here. This Ashley outlet is fine, nothing special. As long as you know that this place operates with the model of pushy sales and inflated prices, then youre already ahead of most. Ask to be left alone, if you find something you like, find it online for a much lower cost and they will price match. Don't pay what they charge upfront.

Bought a coffee table. It arrived warped. We called, they sent someone to repair it. The repair piece was also warped so the technician said there is no point in replacing. We called returns and they said they don’t do returns and some products aren’t perfect. Store we bought it at says they can’t do anything. Just to update. Went back to store. Manager said she’d submit an expedited ticket for the issue and she would personal call us back either that day or the next business day. We never heard back. Someone responded to my review (see below) and said they were very concerned about our situation. They said to text a number for follow up. I texted. No response so far… Additional update, now several weeks in to this experience, still no response from either the manager we spoke with, or from texting to the number that Ashley responded with below. [Adding a correction, I apologize I did hear back from the store manager, it was in my voicemail. She said that they still couldn't return the coffee table but had to try again to repair it, so I guess in another month or two they will come out and try another replacement top. Well see, stay tuned....] Please beware if intending to purchase from Ashley. We did receive a couple of good items and all went well with those, but with two of the pieces that we bought the experience has been terrible.

Sales person was great but the customer service for products that you have issues with is the worst they do not stand by their product. What I paid for a memory phone mattress less than one year they want to insult me by returning me $92 to take the mattress back after I spend a couple hundred. Mind you I have a representative come to the house they told me that mattress was no good I call back well according to their warranty it's not their problem less than 6 months old it's warped mattress got very soft on the edges and it has lumps throughout now My new I bought it because I have a bad back I had post surgery several years ago so I needed a firm mattress and it's nothing but firm. And it was their brand of mattress made by Ashley which is a piece of junk never again! And like I said I pick the mattress because it had good rating according to them and it's supposed to be firm I figured hey Ashley the big company but I was wrong that a bunch of liars. Beware of no honor from them especially when it comes to warranties they just don't care for you they just want your money.
Adajah was great at finding a couch to suite our needs, she also went above and beyond by coming in on her day off to facilitate our purchase. We will definitely be back in the future!

Specially, I went to the store to buy furniture. and I am at this lady name, Dorothy I think she’s the manager there and I asked her for financing with Zero interest so She had me with great American finance and the deal was one year zero interest so while I was making the payments they always had charged me interest and they called them so many times talking to them about interest and they keep saying no this is gonna go away. This is just on the statement. And lastly, I called them and asked them to pay the whole thing, and they want to charge me the whole thing with interest That I had one late payment and that they have to charge me interest which doesn’t make any sense so they would lie to you about the interest rate. Do you have to be careful And make sure you read everything in the contract because this lady or I think other workers will help Companies to get you Just wanted to help that way you don’t get the same mistake I made Even the furniture quality Wasn’t as they usually advertise for

Wow, what an outstanding experience with Ashley homestore outlet in Matthews!!!!!! From start to finish it went amazing!!! They blow all other furniture stores I've dealt with out of the water with their thoroughness. Everything went so smoothly. The beginning: husband & I stopped in on our lunch break after looking online because we were wanting to replace a much older loveseat that had seen better days. Eric was great & very helpful. Not pushy or pressuring at all & allowed us to have a relaxed, comfortable shopping experience, which I loved. He was welcoming as we walked in the door & there to help with any information as needed. He got us all fixed up quickly & easily with the buying process. The in between: it was going to be about 2 weeks until our loveseat was to be delivered. The communication was great. During that time, I received both text messages & emails that informed me about the shipment tracking/delivery/product/ location/date/time & even information about the delivery guy complete with his picture as well. The end: our delivery guy's name was Ariel & he had an assistant with him to help. I'm not sure what his assistant's name was ( I'm guessing Hercules because he was very strong lol... managing the loveseat with no problem at all as he walked up our steep driveway with it. I was like wow, look at this guy lol). Ariel was friendly, professional, & orchestrated the delivery well. They delivered our loveseat, got it into our room, & completed the install all with lightning speed, efficiency, and care. Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone & I would definitely go here first should we need any other furniture in the future. Huge thank yous to Eric, Ariel, & his assistant (Hercules lol), you guys are the absolute best!!!!!

I brought a 12in mattress and they bring a 10in I tell them on Monday they say on Wed we'll send the right mattress then call on Thursday and say they will bring the right mattress on Monday all the while I'm getting the worst sleep ever you would think they would fix this immediately not very happy at all bet the owner won't comment on this

I can not say enough nice things about our experience. We had purchased a whole household of furniture over the phone from another state. We received top notch customer service from the first phone call, settling up our purchase over the phone, to delivery day. The truck arrived at the time it was scheduled and the driver and his workers handled all the furniture with care. They assembled all the furniture like it was their own. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend!!

Cannot recommend this location enough. In the past I have not particularly enjoyed the furniture buying process, as I’ve felt that the workers only ever cared about making money. That was not the case when I went to this store. Eric was incredibly kind, patient and helpful throughout the entire process. He helped me narrow down what sofa, loveseat and end tables would look great when I told him the style I was going for. 10/10 experience!

This is our second time coming to this store. Everyone is amazing but Qay is by far the best associate. She was very honest about pricing, helped find us a different dinning room set and even worked with us on picking up our order. Ask for her! We went to pick up our table since we didn’t want to pay for delivery and the assembly was easy if you have time and patience. Not as hard as IKEA.

I came into the store on May 15, 2023. Nina met me at the door and showed me some beautiful sectionals. I went home and measured my space. Unfortunately, those sectionals were to large for my space. I went back to the store on the 19th and explained to Nina my issue. Immediately, I got a tape measure and helped me to pick out a sectional that would fit my space. I am so excited to get my new furniture. Nina was wonderful to work with. The furniture there is great.
I came in looking for a new bedroom set. I gave Nina some details on what I was looking for. She was very friendly and accommodating. She even recommended another Ashley HomeStore that offered more of a selection nearby but we were ultimately brought back because of her wonderful customer service. When we returned, Nina had already left for the evening but we were graciously assisted by Danielle. Daniel Mason didn’t a terrific job, I want to express how much he helped my daughter to pick out a mattress to fit her needs my letting her test as many different mattresses as possible before she picked one that wasn’t going to be right for her, he asked her questions, what she liked what she didn’t like, etc., he wanted to make sure she was comfortable with what she picked out, I commend this associate for a job well done, wish there could be more like him, who take time and listen to the customer and their needs 🙂
We had this wonderful guy named Barry Newman and he really listened to what we where looking for and I'll tell you he did his job like a boss. We ended up getting our living room set kitchen set and even got a full size memory gel bed. He really listened and he showed us exactly what we where looking for and made this shopping trip fun cause he just made us laugh so so much.

I needed a sectional with specific dimensions and color and after looking online for weeks with no luck decided to try stopping in at some furniture stores. Laqauisha immediately got to work and found me one that worked perfectly, although it wasn't at the store was able to show me the color and fabric on another one at the location. She had great communication and follow through and I am looking forward to getting a new couch!

We had a great experience here shopping for a sofa. Tomas helped us and was very attentive to what we were looking for and preferences and price range. We were considering whether to spend a bit more to get something nicer, and he helped talk through some of the considerations, but I never felt like he was pressuring us to spend more. It genuinely felt like his goal was to make sure we walked out with the best outcome for us, and I got that vibe from everyone in the store I spoke with, including the manager. Special mention for their willingness to take off $100 for a price match to the Ashley website (it seemed like the website had actually just reduced it's price and it hadn't updated in store yet), and also a shout out to the woman who helped with a technical difficulty during the actual sale. She offered us a remote signing option in case it couldn't be resolved, but she got it sorted with help from IT. Having worked in retail, I always appreciate shopping somewhere with a clearly positive work culture.

I am coming back to updated review. I ordered a sectional/ pull-out couch in March, was delivered on April 15, missing all the parts of couch to make the pull-out functional. Was promised parts would be delivered within a week by UPS then they would send out technician once arrived to install on couch. Within 1 week, no parts. I called back again, and was promised they would be in within another week. Then I call back again, and parts are on back order...4 more weeks. Called back again today, in week 6, still no parts. They refuse to let me return it and get a replacement. They refuse to let me speak with a Manager. Only a message can be left and maybe get a return call in 48 hours. Over $3000 with couch and delivery. DO NOT buy here. All kinds of great promises from sales team up front, but wish I had gone somewhere else now as I cannot get any answers, just more excuses, and no replacement. Very disappointed after reading all the good reviews. I went to Value City Furniture in Matthews to buy several other things at much better prices, had some defects but they got me scheduled right away with repairs and replacements.
On Monday February 27th I purchased a sofa from the Ashley Furniture Outlet in Matthews NC. I had spoken with a sales person on the phone before I went in. When I arrived she was with a customer so the store manager Steve met me and helped me until she was free. Nina Tasselli was the sales person and she was so helpful. She explained everything thing and made sure that I had everything that I needed and wanted. My beautiful new sofa will be delivered Tuesday. I recommend Ashley Outlet for any furniture that you might need. Good selection and great staff.

It's not really an outlet. You'd expect discounted furniture but it's overpriced and can be gotten cheaper online and at Big Lots. Waste of my time.
Went into the outlet store to find a new couch and fell in love with a gorgeous sectional. After taking measurements and finding the right configuration for our new home, we called and the sales rep told us we could make the purchase over the phone. We did! We were told we could go to the warehouse to pick up our sectional on the day we closed on our new home instead of waiting until mid November. Fast forward a week later and we received a phone call saying we were not allowed to pick up the couch at the warehouse because it was an “over the phone purchase” and the amount “exceeded $1,000” we were told we had to pay a delivery fee and there was no guarantee of a delivery date. We are very disappointed and currently waiting for a refund. Make sure to ask ALL questions before purchasing, loop holes everywhere to make back the “discounts” they give you in store.

I don't recommend to do the business with them. I ordered my bedframe, they said it will be delivered in a month but they delivered partially after 2 months.I keep waiting until now almost more than 6 months to receive the missing part. Contact center guys just pointing to other departments and not taking any responsibility for the order. Don't expect any update from them for the delay. No communication. You need you call. I don't know how tough for them to provide the site/page for the order tracking.

After going to a couple Ashley’s in the area, Nina and Anthony were the most knowledgeable and friendly sales associates that we came across. It was our first time shopping for our apartment, and Nina helped us differentiate between the different kinds of pieces while allowing us to chat about our specific needs. When we went back a few days later, we met Anthony who was very friendly and had all the information we needed while giving us space when we needed to talk things over. $3500+ and a six month wait to be delivered garbage. The pillows quickly lost shape (all but one that had the actual pillow case in it). Called to make it right, and they were very apologetic; only to send 4 large boxes of the same garbage material that caused the problem in the first place. The couch I fell in love with, looks like trash, because it’s made that way. I checked the model in store to confirm the pillows inside were cased. Bait and switch…. Extremely poor quality and worse service. Buyer beware!

DO NOT GO HERE! We bought $7500 worth of furniture just for it be delivered by two men with a bad attitude. To make it worse, they damaged are brand new homes flooring. Now, we are getting the run around for a fix. I have spent a total of one hour today trying to get ahold of someone. Before this, we had to switch the accounts name from my spouse to me and the $500 down payment has taken over two weeks to be refunded. This is an awful experience and I couldn’t be more frustrated. Everyone is acting as if this is no big deal.

I am very disappointed with the Ashley services. I ordered 3 counter stools 30 inch high and a coffee table directly from the store. After delivery I found some issues in stools and it was not fitting with my counter. I requested customer care next day to return stools and replace them with smaller stools 22 inch. At first she told me that their policy is that i should have returned it when delivery was done as per their contract which we generally never read and at the store their sales man didn't told me also about it. But, their delivery man told me that i can return it later next day if any issue. When i called next day, they didn't addressed my issue at first but after long discussion she agrred just to replace them with same size stools which will not be useful for me at all as i need small stools. I don’t understand what is the issue in replacing them with smaller stools. I am not asking for refund, but just replace them with smaller one. I really didn’t understand their policy of returning at the time of delivery because if the furniture needs assembly then how could anyone check these furnitures. I really didn't liked Ashley furniture policy, customer services and the quality of furniture is also not that good.
Sunshine at the Matthews Independence Road store was extremely professional, patient and knowledge as she helped my daughter and I purchase furniture for her apartment. After working with her for 10 minutes, I asked her what was her name again and when she said Sunshine, I told her the name was so befitting because her personality was so pleasant and joyous. My daughter was very pleased with her selections and I’m so grateful to Sunshine for her expert assistance.

LI was super excited with buying my furniture in Ashley because I like their style and they have so many options. The selling agent was very nice. But all that changed when I received my new furniture. The guys who did the delivery were running, they didn't even allow me to test all the recliners. I have to run to one of them to tell that there was a problem. Long story short. Two of the recliners they couldn't operate properly because they were too close to the arms, literally, you could see the arm moving when the recliner was working. The middle section didn't have power, so the lights and outlets were useless. I mentioned all these problems to the person installing the sofa and he just said that a technician will come. Well, they didn't even report the problem. Four days later, I had to call Customer Service to make a claim and they don't have a technician available in three weeks. I was expecting something better from Ashley. First, quality furniture and second a faster service. This store is expensive so be consequent with your clients.

I have been looking for a while to find a sofa and decided to go to Ashley HomeStore Outlet to see in person what was available. I waited until I have had my furniture a month to review. I am completely happy. I bought a sofa, loveseat, and recliner set at a great price. It is comfortable and well made. I have recliners on all and am happy with the mechanisms. I was helped wonderfully by both Anthony and Nina. Answered all my questions and were friendly. Bonus points to Anthony for not laughing at my inability to find the pull to recilne the loveseat. This one is between the seat cushion and the arm. He actually had to come over and open it for me the first time. They delivered on time - great delivery team. Put it together and placed it for me. Also really like their selection it was the first store that had multiple items I liked.

I had shoulder replacement surgery two weeks ago. I realized my husband’s recliner would not work for me. I went into the Ashley outlet on independence Boulevard on Wednesday and the people there were wonderful. Anthony, my salesman answered all my questions, gave me the online price for the Yandel power recliner and most importantly he had it delivered by Friday afternoon when I got home. This recliner is very comfortable he even gave me the extended warranty and like I said it was delivered promptly, they carried it upstairs and set it up. I could not have asked for anything better for Customerservice!!! I will definitely go there again if I need any furniture

Bought some bar stools from this place today. We don't often go out for furniture but on our first try we were lucky enough to meet with Jamie the sales associate. Funny asf. An extremely knowledgeable an helpful. This guy knows his shit. An if he's at a lack there of on info. He immediately went to find it. Also knew that some people don't like to be helicoptered. My only regret is that I don't know more salespersons with that same vibe an professionalism. Also the place does take donations for food an book drives. Didn't smell like old mattresses. Superbingly a plus. You'd be surprised how often a furniture store would smell like musk. An this one didn't.

Had the worst experience buying from Ashley Outlet. Store experience was ok and after waiting for months for the delivery we were able to schedule a delivery. Everything started falling apart after the first delivery, delivery truck came during rain and the delivery man tried to walk in the house with wet and muddy shoes. We asked for the man to put on boot covers but he didn't have any so we declined the delivery after he tried to argue with my father. Second delivery, I actually had to buy my own boot covers for the worker to use. The man started building the bed and told us there was no screw. He never finished building the bed and dresser and left in the middle of it with all the parts all over the place. This was weeks ago. Now I have been sleeping on the floor for weeks with a bad back and a delivery man came and just made up the dresser. I am still sleeping on the floor with bed parts all over the room and was lied to on the phone. I agreed to let them take this bed and exchange it for a new one because it will be faster. The customer service told me the bed was in stock and I would be next in line. But it was just a blatant lie and now I am being told I have to wait 8 more weeks for the bed and was told someone will call me but no one ever calls (this happened like 3 times). I have no idea what to do and now I am here writing this review. Still sleeping on the floor with a bed not finished that I ordered last year. I can't return the bed because they told me my window of return is closed. Why not send someone out and find out what is missing and finish the bed? I can't tell which part is missing or any parts because the worker just laid stuff out everywhere. I just want my bed finished so I can go back to having my life back. Edit: I am changing the stars to three stars from one star because Valeria at this store was the best help I got. She was able to get everything changed and working in less than two weeks which was a lot more helpful than the corporate. Still leaving 3 stars cause corporate was bad.

I had previously shopped online and had an idea of what we were looking for when we walked in. Daniel was our salesperson and let us wander until we picked out exactly what we wanted. We put our order in with him and talked through delivery vs pick up. We agreed on delivery with assembly and waited our three weeks for our furniture to arrive. Delivery day came about and the delivery people just dumped it all in our garage, no assembly included. I was extremely upset considered we paid over $100 for the whole kit and caboodle. I called customer service to complain and they were extremely nice and refunded our DASH cost and we just paid for delivery. Overall, it was a up and down experience but I'm happy to say they made it right and we LOVE our new furniture!
I had a really bad Delivery and customer service experience. I ordered two queen mattress and was delivered two twin mattress when I complained the same day, I did not get a good response, I called the next day and still didn't get a resolution. A week later I asked for a refund and was denied a refund. A new delivery date was set for 9am Thursday morning and didn't receive delivery until 3:30pm with no communication ..This was this worst and will not recommend the Matthew's location to anyone.

Jamie went above and beyond in helping us and answering all my questions I had for every little thing after telling him about our last bad experience when buying from somewhere else what questions may seem crazy to some he put at ease and listened and answered we will differently be back again thanks again Jamie
Jamie is fantastic! He made the process super easy and gave us the best information in order to make the best decision. We were not attacked or pushed to buy just simply given the information and let us make the decision we needed. I would definitely recommend buying from this store!

I’m already upset because I thought I had furniture scheduled for pickup only to find they say something fraudulent happened with the order! Now I’m in my new home kept Uhaul to pick up and no furniture beyond aggravated! Thinking I may be just purchasing elsewhere!

I just want to give a shout out to Moniera and Cody the sales manager ..from the time that I walked in the store Moniera heard my concern I had previously went to buy bedroom set at Ashley outlet on South blvd and the person that assisted me explained to me that shipment is running behind and that I was going to receive my order between nov 26 and December 15 no later ..I called them last week and the representative told me that I didn’t even have a date scheduled on the calendar for delivery and it was probably going to be delivered until March 26 2022… called corporate and they were so friendly and helpful and told me to go to the furniture store and I can pick something else that looked similar.. Moniera was so helpful and friendly and was even checking on bedrooms set availability and I was even able to take home that same day my tv stand which was also an item that I had ordered.. I am expecting to receive my bedroom in the next couple of weeks thanks to the staff members…100 % Recommended to shop at this store has a nice variety of furniture.

After a not so great experience at the Pineville location, we gave Ashley another try. We are indeed satisfied with this location, not only the attentiveness but also all the help we got from their associate, Cody. With COVID, all the deliveries are delayed; which at this point everyone should be aware of. Pineville did not offer any good communication with our order after 6 months had gone by. They were trying to deliver after I had gone to totally cancel the order & even then I still received emails/texts. Needless to say, terrible communication. I should say that good customer service & communication go a long way. Cody was exceptional & exceeded our expectations with our shopping experience.
Awesome staff! Very polite folks and takes a lot time and put in a lot of effort to find the right furniture as per your needs. They went above and beyond to resolve some of the last issues/requests I had. I highly recommend to give them a visit if you in market for furniture or decor

Fun, friendly, and very helpful. Just a few words to describe this awesome team. I wasn't hounded as soon as I walked in. Instead I was greeted politely and was able to walk through the store uninterrupted. As soon as I had a question or was ready to start my purchase, they were ready for me. I had my 16yr old daughter with me and she was not bored at all LOL. Professionalism with humor is how I was describe my experience. Just pleasant conversation in a comfortable environment making furniture buying a joy!
Horrible horrible horrible. Ordered furniture in May. My living room set was delivered 5 months later. The sofa was damaged. Delivery guy called store I spoke to a guy who was sooooo unhelpful. Wanted me to keep everything send damaged sofa back and then wanted me to wait until 2 the next day to find out when I could another one to be delivered. No thank you. Wait another 5 months hell no. Told them to cancell my order and sent it all back. They broke my door handle during delivery and Jerry rigged it back together. Never again. I will tell everyone how horrible they are. I waited 5 months and still no furniture. They could care less. My daughter also cancelled her order. Went to Furniture Row and had her stuff delivered between 3 and 4 weeks. Guess I will also go there. So I get a notice that I owe money to Ashley. I look at the bill and they have not taken off all the furniture that I sent back the day they delivered my damaged sofa. On the statement I am charged for everything. After talking to someone from Ashley I found out while the living room set was cancelled they are claiming I did not cancel a cabinet, and the Warranty on the furniture. The only thing to make it off the truck was the chaise and damaged sofa. Once I saw that and spoke to someone from the warehouse I said cancel my order take everything back and was told he would create a template to cancel my order. Why would I keep a warranty on furniture I did not accept. How shady is this store. I plan on contacting the Attorney Generals office and the Better bussiness bureau. Look elsewhere peoplevread their reviews. They broke my door handle and I don't see anyone running over to replace that. one of the delivery people was rude. This place is the worst.

I purchased the Tarlow 60” tv stand for my daughter that was living to TN on Wednesday evening. She tried to put it together and it was missing THE ENTIRE HARDWARE kit! I called and spoke to Gillian the CSR manager and was told that there was nothing she could do and I would need to call customer care next week. She also stated that since she moved to TN that there may not be anything that could be done. Unacceptable!
This is an absolute nightmare. We had a tree go threw our house. We needed furniture asap. We went with a certain living room set, that was in there warehouse. We had our own movers come get the furniture as we couldn't wait for them to deliver. My movers sat at their warehouse for HOURS only to find out. They don't have it there. The manager at the Matthew's store didn't bother to call us back until 5:45pm. There's nothing they can do or say. Corporate says it will be next week some time. They can't tell me when. Apparently in their contract it says it could be 6 months. Smh not acceptable. They need to update their systems and they need to get on the same page.

I ordered furniture in May, I was told by the store manager Daniel that I would receive it by mid July and now it is September 6th. There is no sign of where my furniture is, when I call the customer service I get the same broken-record answer it is in manufacturing process. No one knows which part of manufacturing it is going through. To me they have been deceitful in communicating facts. My order included master bedroom, bar stools and living room, I paid all upfront for it. They took the money but there is no sight of where my furniture is or when I will receive it. Ashley Store purchase has been a huge disappointment. I have no intention of ever going back to buy anymore furniture from them
We were kicked out of the store because we didn’t have a mask and they don’t have them to give to their clients. So we came back, with masks. We walked around and sat on every couch/recliner/sectional in the entire store without a single employee acknowledging us. We had planned on leaving after making a purchase but clearly they didn’t want our money.
I went into Matthews store on 7/17/21. The sales person- Daniel informed me that my furniture would be delivered in 4 weeks. - which did not happen. I emailed him and was then told on 8/10/21 furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks- which still did not happen. I asked for my money back, which is almost $4000 and received an email from customer service stating there is a 10% cancellation fee and they will put in a request for refund. This has been a very bad experience.

Let’s just say that we paid and it didn’t get built. August 6. Appointment on the 10th for them to get back I already gave the old ones away I guess the Couch it is.
Researched the mattress I wanted online. Went to the store to see it and ordered in store. I confirmed I could get old mattress removal. Maybe I dressed too casually because I was ignored while one man sat on a couch playing a game on his ipad. One salesperson walked around playing on his phone and joking loudly across the showroom with the man sitting at the desk. All of which were actively ignoring me. A couple came in and the salesman was right on top of them. (They walked out without spending a dime- don't judge a book by it's cover or me by my weekend clothes!) I was in plain sight and patiently waiting for someone to help me. I had walked over to look for the specific mattress and did not see it so I walked up front to the area where the employees were sitting/hanging out. People saw me. They didn't acknowledge me with even a nod but looked me dead in the eyes. Again, maybe I just looked too poor to waste their time. After saying excuse me a few times and being ignored I looked at the salesman and said a bit louder "can you please help me so I can get this done and be on my way? I already know what I want; I just need you to write it up and take my money please." Finally, the man sitting at the desk told the man right in front of me to help me. They didn't have the mattress I wanted so I asked if they had a comparable one I could see. This is when the salesman walked me over to the man sitting on the couch playing a game on his ipad (yes, we walked right up on him and I saw it plain as day. It was the first couch when you walked in so it seems he was simply ignoring me as I would not think they take their breaks lounging on the front row)Turns out he was the sales manager (may have been a slightly different title but it surprised me that he was so indifferent to customers yet the one in charge at least of that dept). Why did I not just leave? Because I knew what I wanted and I just wanted to order my mattress and go home. I hate shopping. It couldn't get any worse, could it???Finally, order complete- June 6. I paid in full on that day. I was told delivery would be the first week of July. Turned out delivery was the third week of July- not a big deal. Wish they would have emailed or something to let me know instead of making me call to track it down. Bed was set up and left to expand for three days. Looked ok so we slept on it. Edges did not expand as they were supposed to expand- all the way around the entire bed. My husband and I felt like we were falling backward so I raised the head of the bed. It was better, only felt like you were falling off the side. Tried calling but finally got through to someone by using the chat function. Sent pics and gave info- a tech would be out the following Wednesday to check the bed for defects. (The chat associate was extremely nice). The tech came and took pics of the bed. He used a large level and took pictures to document the 3" drop around the edges. He said it definitely needed replaced. He tried to call Ashley twice while standing at the bed but he was on hold too long so he hung up. He apologized that the mattress would need replaced but someone would call me by the end of the day... That was 10 days ago. Not a call, not an email. not a word...I called today and was on hold for a very long time so I hung up and used the chat feature. The chat associate told me she saw that they have a replacement ordered for my mattress but did not have an estimated date. I did ask if she had any idea how long it would be. I even asked if she could tell me if it would be weeks or months? She said she did not know but hoped it would not be long.Seriously, so no idea?! Not even the standard 6-8 weeks or 8-12 weeks... nothing? Why? Because you already have my money? You would think at some point they could at least give a courtesy email for something along the way. Just for an added note- 1) we received nothing the original delivery would be two weeks late (I would not have cared. You would think
I had an excellent experience at the Ashley Homestore. I was in need of a specific chair for a post hip surgery w/ a motor and they were very accommodating. I would shop here again, the chair is very well built and I purchased the additional warranty on the electric motor as well which was reasonably priced and the program allows you to carry forward the value if you do not need/use it.
The Manager was friendly and very helpful in my selection of a dinette set.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I just received my sectional that was well over $2500. It is damaged. On the 16th week (last week) my delivery was cancelled 45 minutes prior to delivery because two out of three of the pieces did not pass final inspection as they were considered damaged. After multiple calls and no success with an update, my boyfriend filed a formal complaint. We then magically got a delivery for today (one week later) with two of the three pieces damaged. Coincidence? I think not. Ashley Furniture delivered my failed pieces and now are nowhere to be in assistance. This is BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE AND I WILL CONTINUE TO VOICE MY POOR EXPERIENCE AND YOUR POOR QUALITY SO NO ONE ELSE HAS TO EXPERIENCE WHAT IVE GONE THROUGH. STAY AWAY FROM THIS POORLY RAN BUSINESS. I would have been better off going through a private seller with running the risk of getting robbed of my money as this is not much further from that.

Jamie and Nina were the sales people who assisted us and they were very nice and easy to work with. They helped us get a great deal on our couches, and worked to ensure we had everything we needed and that we understood the delivery time frame and process. We had been hesitant after reading so many negative reviews about the whole process (especially delivery), but it all went very smoothly and so far we've enjoyed our sofa and loveseat (purchased 4 months ago)
I went to the store with my husband and baby looking and ready to buy a bedroom set today, not one employee even acknowledged us. My husband tried to get the attention of a store worker and she completely ignored us. That gave me my answer, I'm shopping elsewhere.

They outsource their deliveries to incompetent people who have zero concept of harnesses or taking care not to ruin your home. My hardwood stairs were ruined, my walls dented, and my door frames dented. They tracked red clay mud throughout my home. The items delivered were not assembled properly so I had to have 2 different sets of people come to fix the items. Their customer service adds extra bureaucracy when trying to solve simple problems and are unhelpful in getting to a quick, satisfactory solution. They have a "take it or leave it" attitude when their own products are defective or their own employees make mistakes. Will NEVER use this company again.

The have my money and i have a bed sitting in my bedroom unable to put together because NO hardware was in box. I was duped and told I would have everything in a week. No these sorry folks are saying another 6-8 weeks. Oh I only waited 6 weeks for the f%^^ing bed to be delivered in the first place.. Then i speak to an idiot mngr Dwayne who says I can’t do anything until Ashley sends you the hardware... a total idiot.. disgusting!!!! I am disputing the charge..
Worst customer service experience EVER! Received part of the order (even when we requested it be shipped together) and the part that was delivered was not complete and could not be used. 3-4 times of them trying to "return/replace" the part that was missing and NOTHING! Had them cancel the other order and pick up their incomplete delivered furniture! 2.5 weeks later and still NOTHING no credit back to our account so we are needing to still make payments on furniture that is not in our home and was supposed to be processed as returned/refunded???!!! This was our first time purchasing (or trying to at least) here and thank goodness it will be our last! I called customer service last week and still no response to my request! I just have never ever!!!! Go elsewhere.....spare yourself the angst!

Needs improvement in Customer service. Found whatever I was looking for but couldn't find a sale representative. I had to walk around the store asking other customers if they worked there. I finally found 3 gathered in living room set, 1 had his head glued to whatever inventory he was doing. They Seemed to be bothered when I asked for assistance. Horrible experience!!!!.
We were met and received absolute attention to what we wanted. By all means do go to Ashley outlet to get good prices for your dollars.

The girl that walked up to me yesterday was super snarky and rude. I was looking into the most expensive (I think) bedroom set on the floor and she acted as if I ruined her life by existing. Turns out, I left my license at home on my printer so I couldn't get my credit run. But it's a good thing because I wouldn't want such a horrible servicer to get a commission off me. South Blvd location is always friendly if you must have an Ashley piece.
I will never order from this store again I order my son’s bedroom set on January 9th didn’t receive my order til March 30 I understand covid delay. What I can’t get pass, the delivery guy tell me right away we are NOT going to put your dresser together because it will take too much time. Excuse me is this not your job I asked. I immediately get on the phone with a sale associate who instructed me to put my phone on speaker she spoke to them and I instructed them to put the bed and dresser together, they told her that all the pieces were not there. They never even open the box, I was able to speak to someone from dispatch and they apologize and said this was not suppose to happen. The delivery guys were very unprofessional I call to speak with a manager and have heard nothing back. Unprofessional and no customer service at all.

Worst customer service, we bought a sofa sleeper here a year ago, now its broken, thank God we purchased insurance, it took almost a month to finally have it replaced but the truck came with another broken one, so they got us a store credit. Now we have to wait 8 to 12 MORE WEEKS to finally get a new one. We came to the store the guy who talked to us was so rude, he didn't care about us as clients. So at the end it has been 2 months trying to get a new sofa or at least get it replaced. If you want to get your furniture, go somewhere else.
The phone team was nice. The sales team was quick, however delivery is a mess!! I ordered a dresser. They delivered the wrong one and wont do the exchange. I had to have them come out twice to complete the install for that same dresser. They sold me the bed without letting me know i forgot the box spring. One guy came in without a mask and had me call in saying he wore one.

I am so upset that they do not allow returns or exchanges after delivery even though I was told that in the store I would have 30 days to return if I didn't like. The delivery driver told me a lie and said I had 24 hours now even before 24 hours is up Ashley is telling me they cannot return anything! I am not happy with the customer service run-around I received! Update: I wanted to take a moment and update my review from one star to five stars. I made a simple mistake in placing the order for my LAF sofa and when the delivery person and customer service gave me the run-around I was distraught. Instead of accepting what they told me, I decided to go into the actual store. I am so thankful that the sales associate Jamie and the manager Tina on staff were there because they were able to help me instantly!! I now have my newly delivered sofa facing the correct direction and I am so happy!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!!

We bought a bed three months ago, they delivered it after two and half month which they said they would delivered in one month. I can accept it in this pandemic period but they missed the screws of the bed and they have never returned for three weeks! We have a uninstalled bed in our bedroom for three weeks all because I trusted them. Never return this store again! NEVER!

However, on February 8th, I had to call them to find out my couch would not be delivered (they have not communicated AT ALL). Then.... they said they had no updated delivery. I would receive an email with an updated date in 2 days. Five days later.... I'm calling again, requesting an update. Then they say it will be here March 4th (THREE months after I ordered it to begin with). Once again, okay... I get it, COVID, but they did not email me as promised with any information. So, yesterday I get on the phone to see if my couch is really going to be here tomorrow. 🙃 Customer service says they need to verify my number and email. Within 24 hours, I'll receive a text or email to verify the delivery date and time. Great! Finally, my couch will be here and I can boot the uncomfortable futon out of my living room. No text or email ever came (surprise, surprise). So, I called again wanting to know what's up. NOW the couch is back to not being ready at all and they have no estimated delivery date. 😑 Do yourself a favor - just build your own couch. It will take less time and involve less frustration than dealing with Ashley Furniture.

Do not shop here they are selling items in their store you cannot get delivered a year out.They are at least a year behind on deliveries. We are sure it's because of Covid-19 and they will not admit the fact they cannot deliver in a reasonable amount of time. We purchased in August and they just called us In November and asked us to wait until December. We canceled and went to Conns, we have furniture now.

The bed was set up I sat on it and the bed fell to the ground. The side rail cracked and I was livid. I immediately went to store and was not helped beyond a card to call customer service. Called sent pictures and the solution was they would send me a new rail. Well I didn't want a rail the bed is poorly constructed and who wants furniture that will not last. They would not allow exchange or return of it. I have battled with my credit card company and them for months and still no functional bed. Wish I read these reviews before and avoided this company. 0 stars

Ordered furniture in June. Arrived broken in August. Still waiting on a replacement. Customer service is non-existent.
We ended up purchasing a nice living room set. Nina and James were great to work with.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE & CUSTOMER SERVICE! Stay far away from this store and company. We were sold a TV stand that was missing parts. We reported to customer service they were missing — 30 days later we still have missing parts. I called to get a refund and they will not issue one. They are completely in the wrong in our situation and refuse to reconcile and make it right. We will be disputing our charges and will never step foot in or recommend an Ashley furniture store again. I wish we had read the reviews before going because they are horrible and should be ashamed of their reputation. I have already spoken all the way up to cooperate and no one cares that I am unsatisfied. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

This had to be the worst retailer I have EVER dealt with. The discounted prices do not make up for the service. I would steer anyone from here. You cannot call the store you get a regional call center hours later they may call you back then they may hang up on you. The furniture looked decent enough . I went back to the store in an attempt to cancel my order I made the night before. The little manager on duty threw his hands up like a child got a huge attitude and said &" that&'s your problem&". Yeah too many good stores around to put up with the pitiful place . So don&'t say I didn&'t warn you...
Made an appointment online, because website shows it had in stock, when I got to the store for the appointment, saw them in the "outlet ", I am now told they do not have in stock, and itwoyld take 10 plus weeks before it arrives. It is very frustrating dealing with Ashley furniture, go to Rooms to Go.........you will get you furniture while you have time to use them. When I order my couches I was told 10 weeks it was 13 weeks before I received them also very frustrating because Ashley furniture kept pushing the dates back and did not inform me until I kept calling. Some of there employees in call center do not understand the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE, they need to be customers to see how frustrating it is to deal with them. Will never again in life recommend any one not even someone I dislike to purchases from Ashley furniture, be honest up front, not say you have it to get me in the store to sell me something else, YOU HAVE TO ORDER AND WAIT 10 OR MORE WEEKS, FOR IT TO ONLY TAKE LONGER FOR TWO TABLES YOU HAVE IN AN OUTLET, YOU DONT WANT TO SELL........

Don&'t waste your time going into the store and helping the people there get money for selling you items you could have bought online for cheaper and could have gotten delivered faster. Order online don’t waste your time! First went to the store and was greeted by Dan who was great, after some shopping around at other stores we can back but he was out So we were helped by Nina and I sure wish we waited for Dan. The tried to trick us into buying the furniture plan even after we said we didn’t want it making us think they were doing us a favor yet still charging us. Also charging Extra fees that weren’t online and higher fees than online Online it said some of my furniture would be shipped 10/31 but she processed the order together , everything being delivered 11/6. After waiting for the chairs that were cheaper online and would have been here soon...they are now delayed another 2 weeks! after talking with customer service I was told Nina should have separated the orders since my chairs are waiting at the warehouse for the rest of my furniture!! Like I said do yourself a favor and order online! The prices are better TRUST ME
HORRIBLE experience. Delivery and set up was a joke. Delivery person stripped the screws while assembling the table that now rocks. He displayed an attitude and refused to wear his face mask(part of company protocol) properly upon entry of MY home. He said “it’s not that serious”. Did not complete the job correctly and laughed as he left on the phone with the supposed customer care team. I do NOT and would NOT recommend this location to anyone RUN and don’t waste your money here!
Ho see the manager dan and the sales rep james. Outstanding customer service and I will only buy my furniture from here ! Got a sectional with free delivery along with a dining set here. They worked out how to add the protection plan on the final price without me actually paying for it because they added it into the sales price . If you want to know about customer service go see these guys and save up on furniture which I would've spent more at rooms to go and harvetys.
Purchased in September. Delivered a day late. Worst part is that they delivered a used and dirty couch and they refuse to rectify the situation. I keep getting the runaround and told that they have a “process”. Almost a month later and no resolution. They cannot show proof they they delivered a new couch to me. Shameful service.

3 weeks ago I placed an order for a couch. They told me it would be a month before it could be delivered. Then they called and told me it would be an additional 10 days. The day of the delivery (after I took off work) they called and said it would be 2 more months for the delivery. I called and cancelled. They told me I would have my money in 7-10 days. 2 weeks later they called an asked if I still wanted the couch. They somehow didn't get the cancellation notice. Then a week later I was told the couch will be delivered this weekend. I told them I had cancelled repeatedly. Then today a delivery guy said he's on his way. Cripe! When I called customer care they said there was a note in the system that I wanted the couch. Again I'm waiting 7-10 days for my promised money back. My recommendation is to stay away from this unethical business.
DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN GENERAL NOT JUST THE OUTLET!!! Especially if you live in NC! This was the worst service follow up & delivery experience I have ever had. The Ashley Outlet associate in Charlotte, NC named Daniel started off great but made a mistake with the delivery address which differed from the billing address. Trying to change the delivery address weeks before the delivery date was a nightmare. We drove back to the store and Daniel said he would follow up by calling us that evening once he heard back from the delivery dept. We never received a call which then snow balled into many other issues.I took a day off on 7/14/20 to receive the delivery that never came. When I called Ashley Furniture they said the delivery date had changed due to the address change that they themselves could not rectify. On top of that no one from their company bothered to notify us that the delivery date had even changed. After hours on the phone with a pleasant service rep named Jennifer she assured me the address was changed and guaranteed the delivery to Saturday 7/18/20. I called two days in a row prior just to ensure that all was on track and Nicholas + another rep named Jennifer both on separate calls that I made (in addition to others) assured me that the address was now correct & delivery was indeed on Saturday 7/18/20. Of course the delivery never happened and when we called we were told that due to the address change (their company could not get right) they could not deliver until the following week on 7/21/20. Please keep in mind I had called their customer service 5 times to confirm prior to the 7/18/20 delivery in which I was told each time everything was good to go.I was also told that they could not discuss any compensation due to delivery issues or loss of pay due to taking time off for their lack of delivery until all deliveries were received. And yes, we have another backordered delivery we are waiting on in August!This company along with the follow up and communication is HORRIBLE! I would advise to look elsewhere if you are thinking of shopping here. There are many other retailers with same competitive prices that we can all shop at.
Just have to wait a good while for the delivery to happen. It's mid-July and it will be September before we see our furniture.
We spent $1600 for 2 power recliners. Within 1 week of getting delivery both chairs had a failure of the electronic controls. When the first chair failed in 6 days, we called and were told we had to wait for a new motor, 7 to 10 days, and then call again to wait for a technician to come out. Then called again about the second chair. We asked to speak to a supervisor and told someone would call us back. We did receive a call back but simply were told to wait for the required time. ABSOLUTELY LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE! IF A NEW CHAIR FAILS IN ONE WEEK, WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THE LONG HAUL? Will never shop at Ashley again!
The sales experience was good; James Yeurink our salesman was very nice. But be careful when choosing your delivery date during COVID - they give inventory away based on delivery date NOT sales date. We bought our couch back in June and it was in-stock, but pushed our delivery date out in order to coordinate it with our move, and Ashley gave our couch away to someone else. Now our couch is on back-order and we won't get it before our move. And our new house is 'out' of their delivery range, so they won't even ship it to us when it does become available again. We had to cancel our order. Very poor order execution.
Went in on 5/23 and bought a couch. Picked a delivery date of 6/23 because that was the soonest they had. That's exactly 1 month. The one who helped me, Greg Butler, never said this was just an estimation. We were told to expect a call the day before delivery with a window of what time they would arrive. On 6/22 I hadn't received a call, so I called them myself. Turns out, they don't have the couch and my "estimated delivery date" in their system is now 7/18. I now don't have a couch at all because we had just paid someone to remove ours. Why didn't anyone call to tell us?! Never going back here. Update: Called them on 7/2/2020 to confirm delivery date. The person said even though my date is scheduled for 7/18, the pieces won't be in stock until 8/14. Again, I had to call them to find this out?! We are canceling our order. This is ridiculous. And guess what, they are charging me a 10% fee for cancelling. Guess that's how they stay in business.

Horrible experience; the worst I have ever had with any place I have done business with. It has been almost 2 months now and the delivery portion of this transaction has exhausted me. Finally got the refund process started today. Let see how long it takes for me to get my hard earned money back.
Good price, quality furniture BUT delivery ruins it all. 27 days from purchase until they could deliver. I had to chase the delivery truck because they were trying to deliver to one of my neighbors. Next the delivery guys told me they had forgotten 3 of the 5 pieces we ordered. They had to return to the warehouse for the rest. They said the warehouse was very close. 27 days!

You do not abide by your own policies and procedures. You gave me a table Bench and chairs that were assembled very incorrectly by your delivery drivers and are refusing to refund it to me. The delivery drivers came may 9, they did not wear gloves or masks and they left oil marks on my white chairs and bench. They also assembled it outside on my dirty driveway. I called customer service 10 min right after delivery and you said you can’t refund me since it’s already in the home and I was supposed to know to tell the delivery drivers to put it back on the truck. (The delivery drivers NEVER told me that I could put it back on the truck). I read your policies and procedures with a supervisor and your policy does not state anywhere to put it back on the truck for delivery. Your company does not follow protocol. The policy and procedures state “If you are not completely satisfied at the time of delivery or pick up, you may return the merchandise for a refund.” They expected me to read in between the lines of that policy. I called customer service and contacted my sales man when they delivered these items. They’re blaming me for not following the procedure when they did not follow policy and procedures.
My daughter and I visited this store today the workers reminded of lazy slobs. Instead of greeting customers coming in the door they sat on the furniture looking at you like you should’ve be there and looking at their cell phones. Not one employee asked if we needed assistance so we left and I’ll purchase my furniture elsewhere. Horrible customer service in this store.

Horrible experience. Delivery was three hours late and we were not notified. Our coffee table that we have had for less than 48 hours is already chipping. Our dining room table showed up missing parts so it cannot be put together until those items are shipped. When I called this store Rita was of no help and had an attitude. I will never be purchasing from Ashley again and will highly recommend people shop elsewhere.
Delivery was scheduled for mid February according to our sales person. When we received no calls and couldn't track our delivery online I contacted customer service who advised the delivery would be set for the week after. The same thing happened no calls or ability to track online for the new confirmed delivery date. Customer service now says the delivery won't be ready for another week!
We purchased a dining room set and living room furniture in November of 2019. The purchasing experience went great. The dining room set arrived in a couple weeks and the delivery experience was perfect. The living room set arrived a month later and the workers had trouble getting the sofa in the house. I told the delivery men that they will have to take the legs off the couch to get it to fit into our home. My wife and I removed our old couch the night before and removed the legs and got it out of the home with no issues. They refused to take off the legs to the couch. Then while trying to get it into our home they dented our exterior door, tore up the frame of our storm door as well as removed paint off the storm door. They didn’t get the couch to fit. I asked them to stop and they said taking the door off would get it in then took the door off and tried again and ran the legs of the couch up and down the wall ripping through the drywall. They then took off the legs and the couch fit with no problems. Once the couch was in the couch was severely damaged. In retrospect I should have made them stop and leave. They are going to replace the couch but denied coverage to fix any damage to the home. They stated we signed a release of damage from them and we assumed we did. Come to find out it was not our name on the damage release waiver (knew we wouldn’t sign that after what they did to the home) and they still denied it stating we said we signed it. We learned that their return policy and damage policy is setup so that if you wait until they leave your property their is nothing you can do to seek damage other than taking them to court. Please note that we expect the minor dents and dings related to moving furniture and expected scuff marks on our wall. We did not expect multiple dents and dings and the multiple gouges to our wall and believe it went so far as to be negligence on their delivery providers. Most likely everything will go good with your purchase but know that if it doesn’t they will not help you at all. If this happens to you make them take back the furniture immediately and definitely don’t sign anything especially before the items are in your home and inspected.

I would not recommend that you buy from Ashley. They send partial deliveries of what they promise you. I bought a couch and a tv stand and have had to schedule three separate delivery dates due to their incompetence. Delivered sectional with a rip in it, was told tv stand did not delivery because it was damaged in the warehouse. Finally received tv stand two weeks later was also told couch exchange would be that day, it was not. I had to schedule another day for the exchange. Basically, if you order from them plan to take time off of work because you will need it. The cherry on top sales guy gives me his number and says call me if you have any issues tried calling a few times and there was no answer.
DO NOT BUY from Ashley’s!!!! As many people stated, the customer service is horrific! I didn’t see this prior to purchasing so I hope you do! DO NOT BUY!!!! They do not communicate and will make no efforts to rectify the issue! The most horrible buying experience. They sell you items that don’t even go together and extras that you can’t use together. Deserves ZERO stars!

Very nice and approachable people... but after you go to purchase, the last at the desk is very unprofessional and asks useless questions. She charged us 150% interest! On a couch and one kids bedroom set!!!! They play you, do not go there!!!
Because I was approved online they didn't honor it it so I did not go back and get nothing from them they didn't reach out to me or anything so I'm giving them a one-star cuz they didn't do their job
I ordered a lot of furniture from them, two couches, two kids bedroom sets and a dining table and chairs. Most everything got delivered and is good furniture. However, my kitchen table did not come, but the chairs did (all of which were very wobbly). After a lot of delaying the delivery of the table I found out the table was discontinued (nevermind the fact that i ordered the table two months before the delivery date). After more back and forth I got the ok to get a new table, but had to fight for them to let me exchange the chairs I had in order to get new chairs that matched the new table. Finally the new set comes, I got a table, 6 chairs and a bench. Table is fine, the 6 chairs are once again wobbly, and my bench was a no show. I want to be clear that the delivery drivers were great amd the people I talked with and ordered from in the store were great, but their customer service department is a joke. They dont care about all the inconveniences that come along with taking time off work to keep having to reschedule deliveries because they will only deliver to my house on Thursdays. The process of trying to get them to resolves mistakes that they are responsible for making is pathetic.
About 2 days before my order was supposed to be delivered I got a call saying it would be delayed almost 3 more weeks. After reaching out to the customer support department I was basically ignored. I was pleased initially when selecting my furniture and was excited to have a fresh set delivered, but now ill have to go back into the store to explain the inconvenience and hope they can rectify the issue. If you plan on ordering from here, make sure you are given more clarity on the dates your furniture will arrive. Very disappointed and inconvenienced.

Purchased a sectional March 2019 and was sold the Ashley assurance protection program. A zipper broke on the back of the sectional so I called in a claim only to be told that it is not covered. Also had a section where the fabric was coming apart and was told that was not covered either. How ever if my kid had cut it with a knife then yes it is covered. So they cover destruction but not defects in workmanship. Never ever purchase the extended warranty. They tell you it covers everything but fail to tell you it does not cover a bad product or workmanship. Also once I had found out that I could not get anything fixed I told the protection company I did not want to submit the claim, leaving me open to maybe getting store credit if I so choose to by something else at Ashley - they told me it was to late as it is already submitted but since nothing was done it won't count against my Non claim submission refund. I highly doubt that. They were however nice enough to tell me I could pay some one to come out and fix it.
Update: salesperson said we would get refund and would call back! Haven’t heard from him yet!!! Reported them to the BBB! Looking for other avenues to report this business if any suggestions! They have our money! Tried to buy sofa at the Mathews location! Same problems! Scheduled delivery THREE times! Last minute phone call each time saying product didn’t pass the delivery inspection not coming! Tried to cancel they want to charge me 10% to cancel a product they can’t provide and are the reason I’m cancelling! Wish I had read these reviews first would not have purchased! Never will again! WORST customer service EVER!!

Ashley Review Our in-store experience was quite pleasant. There were great deals in the clearance section and nice looking pieces. We signed up for delivery to occur the next day, paid, and were on our way... It all went downhill from there. First, our delivery the next day never came. When we called to find out what had happened we were told that they showed up, knocked on the door, called, and then left. Turns out they were calling a phone number unaffiliated with our account and they never knocked on the door; we were home and up in our apartment at the time in question. We imagine they must’ve barely attempted to get into the building, let alone come up to our apartment. When trying to reschedule, customer service told us they could only deliver goods on certain days, so we had to push back our delivery a whole week. There was no empathy or expediency on their part. The communication from their automated system with regards to a delivery window was vague and inconvenient, as we couldn’t speak to a real person. We noticed a few dings in the store and decided that we were okay with it, and that that was justification for clearance pricing. However, upon delivery we noticed many other, larger scrape marks such as the ones pictured, throughout our pieces. It was clear that the movers were not exactly handling the items with care and we would not have purchased them if the same conditions were presented in store. “As is” should apply to the state of the item in the store, not upon delivery. Lots of loose, missing, or incorrect hardware was noticeable inside of our cabinets, but I guess that’s what they’re trying to sell you in the clearance section.
Couch I bought was a floor model with no warranty, that’s my fault , but the wood on the inside of the arm was broken, all particle board cheaply made , staples coming out of the back leather . Then when I went to pick up my table they must have ZERO organization in the warehouse , sat outside for over a half hour for one lousy table .
Great experience! Scott Radar was very personable and knowledgable about the products...even turning a chair over to show us the construction and power mechanism. We are thrilled about our new furniture...can't wait until it arrives!!!
My fiance and I had been shopping around for a new couch or sectional, we had visited almost every furniture store in the area. We stopped by this location about an hour before they closed on a weekend. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by Greg, he went above and beyond in helping us find what we needed without being pushy in the least. In the end, we found a sectional that we loved, and on top of that, he got us an amazing deal on it as well. Very highly recommend this location.
I got a sofa and loveseat here new for 575. Their selection is solid, but what really stands out is their service. They're not pushy, and even tried to help me find discounts with their online match program. Just stop in and you'll see what I mean.
Drew Matlick is literally the worst sales person that I've ever dealt with and finding out that he's also a manager makes this whole situation even worse. He hung up the phone on me Monday without even telling me how it where to go to get my refund processed. I had to call your customer service number again today and thankfully Nekia explained it all to me.I'm still shocked that 3 days later no one from corporate has reached out to me to right Drew's wrong. BUYER BEWARE!!! I would not recommend purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture. My experience has been horrible! We purchased 3 bedroom sets and have been trying for 3 weeks to get our order fixed. I cannot get anyone to return calls or even address our concerns. 1 bed was assembled incorrectly and the headboard was not even attached and was missing screws. Another bed has a mattress that does not fit properly due to design of footboard, and the 3rd is a storage bed that has unusable drawers due to a design deffect. (Their staffs words, not mine) No one can give confirmation of a credit for incorrectly ordered bunkie boards. And this does not even touch on the garbage they left when putting the items together! Buyer beware! Steer clear unless you want shady service, poor quality furniture amd a huge headache!
Worst ever experience!!! I went to the store and picked out what I wanted, then they delivered it and it was the wrong color. They said that my eyes must not be working properly and then they told me that they had filters on their lighting in the stores and too bad, I could not return it now since it was already in my home.TOTAL BS!!!!! DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!You will certainly be disappointed.Oh and to make it worse, the manager would not even speak to me and the salesperson said "too bad".JUST TERRIBLE!!!!!
My best friend ordered a bed set, living room set and table and chairs. She got her bed, but as for the rest of it they ordered the wrong items twice, and they have already delayed her order three different times. In total, it will be over a month for her to get her furniture. The only way they're accommodating her is that they gave her $50 off the $200 delivery fee. They also said if she wants to cancel she still has to pay the 30% cancellation fee. The fact that she bought all these items with the company and they aren't willing to help her...Sounds like garbage to me. I'm glad I've never done business there personally.
Continued review: all of them say the store is closed and to call during normal business hours. Now I'm extremely mad. Is my delivery going to be here is it not? Why did I get that call, yet no one is here did something happen? The customer service line should always be open if there are operating hours so that way we can get in contact with someone. I did find they had an online track your delivery website. On that site you are able to write a message to your service team so I did. But never heard back, no call, text, or email notifying me about the delivery or that everything was okay. The delivery wasn't even my main concern at that point. My concern was they said they would be here in ten minutes and never showed, was there an accident, did something happen? But nope don't communicate that with your concerned customers. Finally it's 12:30 and the guys show up with no call to notify me they were on their way. They delivered my table. But the dresser was not delivered as the legs were broken. Then I was told it was the last one in stock and was also a discontinued item so I said well return it and I'll find a new dresser elsewhere. I was then told if I did not get a dresser from Ashley furniture then it means I am cancelling part of my order and have to pay a 10% cancellation fee. This is rediculous I shouldn't have to pay a fee for that at all. It came to me broken and I can not get a new one. This is not my fault it is the Ashley furniture stores fault and they should own their mistakes. So I called the store because now I am beyond heated. I find out my kitchen table and chairs are now not going to be delivered until the 30th!! That's more than a month from when I ordered it. And there's nothing they can do to get it out sooner. I explained I should be priority based on the situation. Dawn the rep I spoke with advised me "sorry but you're not top priority I know you think you are but we have thousands of customers" okay, now that I understand, however there is a way to say that and that is not the way to do it. Now I'm even more pissed. She told me as for the dresser, once it's returned, they will waive the cancellation fee.

Love the bedroom set I got, and a really good deal too. Everything arrived quick except for the things Ashley delivered. My only complaint is they charge you 100 delivery and put the furniture together. The stuff that needs to be assembled arrives ups and you put it together. They bring the things that are already assembled. And charge you 100 bucks no matter what.
I was totally ignored by employee's.
I would not buy anything from Ashley Furniture ever again, I bought to sofas and they were suppose to be delivered today between 12:30 and 3:30 and it's now 8:30 and they still haven't shown up yet. They didn't even bother to call me to let me know that there were delay issues, I finally called them around 6:30 and they told me if would only be another hour and that was over two hours ago. This place is the worst!!
We got an amazing deal on a discontinued love seat recliner with center console. Our in-store experience was great and everyone was accommodating and helpful. However, our love seat arrived with a small scuff and a small tear in the upholstery. Since the delivery arrived via an Enterprise rental truck I figure they must out source. The piece arrived fully plastic wrapped and the delivery guys were extremely careful and respectful so I have no idea who is responsible for the minor damage. No worries, though. It's a simple fix that I can handle and, even with that, the deal was incredible, and we are happy with our purchase.
Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. While the prices are good the customer service is terrible. I was given a date for pick up in Fort Mill, got there and they said the sales person gave me the wrong date and the couch wasn&'t available. The distribution center said they couldn&'t help me so I had to go back to the store where I demanded free delivery which they did give me and scheduled the delivery. The delivery then was rescheduled 2 times after that. So now we are on date 4 where the window they gave me was 12:30-3:30, no one shows up so I call and they inform me that they are 90 minutes behind schedule but never had any intention of calling and telling me that. I couldn&'t wait and was told they would call me on Monday to reschedule. Not shockingly I heard nothing and made the call to reschedule, 2 more weeks until they can schedule the next delivery. So still sitting on a couple chairs and maybe I&'ll see my couch almost 2 months after the date of purchase. There sales team and distribution teams clearly don&'t talk and the people employed are clearly not given any authority to truly handle customer complaints. It is quite possibly the worst display of customer service I have ever seen and will never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again.
Do not purchase anything from this location. The staff is incompetent and refuse to accommodate their customers when they have clearly made a mistake. The salesman gave us a delivery date and then did not even schedule it. So they suggested canceling the order if we had a problem waiting an extra week for delivery. Then Refused to offer any compensation for their mistake!
Was ready to purchase when salesman said the prince and said it had shipping included in that price. I asked to verify that price he said has shipping included and he said yes. After 10 minutes of him struggling on the computer he came back with a higher price with another charge for shipping. Did not purchase since price was not what he quoted.
I'm not a fan of stores that try to screw over their customers. There were lots of families in the store that were splurging for new furniture thinking they were being economical. Everything in the store had the original price and the sale price only if you look online at Ashley the original price is way lower than what's marked and most items are actually cheaper in the regular store or online. Look at the attached pictures. The outlet price is $350 and the in store price is $270 and brand new instead of being a store model. The original price at the outlet is marked as $499 but the actual real price is 339. I did this price comparison to ten different items in the store and all ten had the same result. Disappointing that Ashley thinks it's ok to mislead their customers.

The price was listed as $1299 after at least 30 min the sales person comes back and has two sheets in his hand. The "original price " sheet and the "deal sheet". I notice he's trying to distract us with typical sales person tactics so I request to review the sheets myself. That's when I realized what was supposed to be $1299 was now over $2100 and the "deal" had a total of $1900+. How did this sectional almost double in price when the configuration was identical to the listed price on the sign with the exception of one ottoman? Not only did they not proce match, they fully intended on charging nearly twice the listed price. We opted not to purchase and will not return because of this experience.

Absolutely horrible company. DO NOT SHOP HERE! The sales person at the store lied about when I would receive my furniture and then they tell you two days before your scheduled date that they don't have it available which was already after three weeks of waiting. Then they reschedule it for whatever date they feel like delivering it. I couldn't get off work for the new scheduled date and my mom had to drive 6 hours to wait for it to be delivered and to top it off they were several hours late from the time window they gave. The customer support service representatives convince you to wait until your furniture is delivered to make your claim and get some type of money compensated for the inconvenience and of course they lie because they only give it to you through their crappy store credit card. Bunch of liars and screamers and I will not shop with them ever again!!!
Worst example of customer service that I have ever witnessed. Store promised a delivery of a floor model they have there after they sent the wrong sofa to me. General manager, Drew, called me on delivery day and said they will not send floor model despite promise from his staff because it would leave a "hole on the showroom floor and look ugly". Advised me I'm stick and have to wait a month more after a month wait already. GM was rude, said will not help nor even try, hinge up on me
Had a terrible experience at the Ashley Outlet @ South Blvd. Decided to make the trip to this location, and indeed was worth it! Mr. Henry was very nice and attentive, made the purchasing process a breeze. I will say that one of the managers there was a bit rude, but overall enjoyed my experience at this location.
I did not have a good experience in this location at all. I need to tell you all that I had escalated the issue on my own and had a wonderful turnaround experience. Ashley is a great place to buy furniture. This location just needs a bit of a turnaround on culture, but seems they are doing it and there are some fantastic deals here :)
Customer service is always on point every time my family and I visit this store. Each associates is willing to help and explain all the deals. Special thanks to Henry for his help. We bought a couch here recently and very pleased with a quality.
Absolutely horrible!!!! Do not buy from Ashley. They have gone way downhill. They lie about delivery times and once you leave the store, there are basically no returns.
Matthews location 4 thumbs down!!! Unfortunately 1 Star is the lowest rating but deserves a zero star. Customer service and sense of urgency is so terrible. I was excited to pick out new sofas but the process from start to finish was the absolute worst. I will give details here so you can see what I have been dealing with: -sofas delivery date never happened. It was scheduled for a Saturday late morning. Waited all morning and when that “window” expired I called to find out if they were still coming. There answer was NO, the sofas arrived damaged (mind you I ordered and had three weeks set for delivery). They said, “didn’t anyone call you?”...and when I asked when I was getting my couches there answer was “we ’t have that information but will call us during the week to let us know. At this time I have no couches for my family to sit on. What and inconvenience. A week goes by and you guessed it, NO CALL. I call them (FYI, they have yet to ever call me when they say they will). They have it scheduled to deliver on a Thursday, i of course asked who confirmed this and that I would be home during that day and time...long story short it was that day they selected for me or wait or wait An additional 2 weeks. Moreover, I get the sofas and 1 came damaged. Add another three weeks to get this replaced. Adding more to this they sent it with the wrong mattress (sleeper sofa). It’s been over two months and I still don’t have my correct mattress. It gets better...they said they would refund me 10 percent for all the trouble. It’s been three weeks since they said I was getting that back on my card, still no refund. I called them, walked in about 4 Saturday’s in a row to the Matthews location and they don’t seem to care, give generic answers and don’t help at all. I honestly can’t see this location Ming it more than one year. They are terrible in all aspects. Buyer beware. You can spend about the same price at other location/brands and get better service. Will never set foot in this location again and will warn anyone to do the same. We all work hard for our money and time is too precious to spend battling this store to get what we rightly paid for.
I bought a love seat/double recliner back in February of this year. I wasn't home much at that time and then had surgery mid March. I noticed that the right side recliner was partly separated from the middle. I then noticed the cloth on the back had separated. I called Ashley and they sent their repair service people out in mid April. They found 3 more issues and took pictures , called the store and recommended it be replaced. I talked to a woman there who said give it a couple of weeks for delivery. I called back May 1 to see what was going on and they told me May 10. May 10 comes along, no couch replacement. I called at 4 pm and they told me my delivery date was May 21 which I know was a lie. May 21 comes along, I wait until 230 to call them to check on the progress and was first told I had to call the Fort Mill store does those deliveries(first time I've heard this). I called there and was told they don't make deliveries for the outlet store. He called the outlet manager while I was on hold then tells me the manager will call me back after finishing with a customer. I called back 2 hours, he tells me they have no record of the repair guys being out there but to call back to the Fort Mill manager who then tells me there's nothing they can do because I bought an "as is" item. I told her that's the first I've heard of it being "as is" and "all sales final" crap. I asked why wasn't I told this in the first place but they have no answer about how they've been misleading me from the start. Why didn't they tell me this when I first called in April? I see from the reviews here I'm not alone. My daughter bought some furniture a few years ago and had wonderful service. My, how things change!
Terrible customer service. The sales team acted bothered when approached with a question. Management leaders were equally as rude. We already knew the item we wanted and they had to restart the check out process three times. The original sales person we started with went to lunch mid transaction and handed it off to another sales rep, who had to start over again. The whole process took almost as long as buying a car. Even though we saved some money, (not a huge amount) I would rather have gone to another store than have that experience all over again.

After 3 weeks of looking for furniture I finally decided on what I wanted. Laqauisha Franklin patiently helped me after telling her what I wanted. Mind you I had been to the store 3-4 times amoung other stores in Cleveland county, Gaston county, mecklenburg county and Lincoln county. She’s the best check her out. Today I paid cash for my investment. I can’t wait until my delivery date !❤️ I will most definitely be shopping at this location again.
The South Blvd store had a chair at a great price but I need two. Independence had another but at a higher price. Eventually it gets worked out to purchase both at the same low price but it took nearly an hour. Then comes the pickup. Independence was a breeze (suprised since they seemed to be the issue in getting the chair adjustment) Get back to South Blvd and find I have receipts for pickup only at Independence. The staff quickly finds my order by name. These places have some decent prices. There is even a discount section in the outlet store. Check for damages in the discount section but the other stuff is fine. Find a discontinued item and you will have a real bargain.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! After 90 days and 3 deliveries they finally got my soft and chase right! First delivery was grey sofa and brown chase :( It took 3 months to get my furniture in my new home - I had to pass up a house warming and family visits. They said they would compensate me for my troubles and I have heard NOTHING - go on line and look at this store - and this company - the reveiws are HORRIBLE!!! I will never shop here again.
Today I walked into the Ashley Furniture Homestore Outlet for the 2nd time. I had previously spoke to (3) people about purchasing legs for my couch that had broken off in a recent move. When I walked in the store today, Tina and Philip were immediately there to help with my need. Philip searched and searched until he found something that would work for my couch (it's not sold anymore and the feet had been improved to a slightly different size). Philip found me 2 feet to try that he had as extras in the back of the store. He provided different options through Ashley if that didn't work for the couch. Thanks for going the extra mile and searching for several solutions Philip! I appreciate your time on a busy BUSY Saturday afternoon.
I buy this mattress like one month ago we change the blankets and we have very bad surprise, my wife went to the store and the manager say we can't do it nothing just put in the trash I spend over $1000.00 in this mattress for use one month and after trash the manager is very conceited, before put this review I try talk with her but after she don't want attend me, so if u still want buy in this store check very good before pay
BEWARE This Store! Damaged items delivered, they don't return calls and refunds are charged very high restocking fee. Stay away at all cost. Very difficult communicating with them and getting timely solutions if any.

I went in Wednesday for the first time and I'm enjoying my beautiful rocker recliner as I post this. Dawn was wonderful and I even brought my daughter back Saturday to look at some stuff for her new house. Once again, Dawn was great and everybody else in the store was super friendly. I'm going back Friday to get more!!!
We had a great experience at Ashley Home store in Matthews. Henry Samuels answered all of our questions and made the decision to purchase easy. We appreciated the great selection and no pressure environment.
Not Outlet prices by any stretch of the imagination these prices are way too high for Outlet setting. you have to really look over some of the furniture there too. There are dings and dangs I'm everything and way overpriced

Customer Service very poor!!!! my husband and I stopped by the store today. We saw the grand opening signs and wanted to check them out as we are in need of furniture. We arrived at 10:02. Walked in the store and there was a about 20+ people seemed like having gathering. They all looked at us and ignored us we felt unwelcomed. ( side note: after 5 mins one person turned around and realized he knew us and acknowledged us and explained the store... thank you sir!) everyone else was just looking like “what are they doing here?”. I’m sorry, was this a private event? If so , you should not have signs up saying grand opening and a sign man on the street. We walked around as they continued their meeting at the front of the store. We walked to the back and asked two men in the stockroom what was going on. They said the owners are here for the grand opening and it’s a big deal. We continued to wait around hoping that the owners would send someone to check on us or acknowledge us, but nothing for 15-20 minutes. I had questions about a set, but no one to ask. They kept giving speeches about the store and how hard they worked to open it! ( that’s great what about me the customer who is in the store and now feels unwelcomed). Can I ask why didn’t you do this before you opened at 10am? Can I ask why you (the “owners”) didn’t acknowledge us at all and thank us for coming into your store? I saw something I wanted to purchase, but it will be a cold day in hell before I purchase anything from this store! I felt like they looked at how we were dressed on this Friday morning and judged. Customers are first! This would have been a perfect time for the “owners” to show the sales team how to provide good customer service.... No thank you Ashley Outlet!
Not bad, but I was looking for more of an outlet type of store with discounted furniture.
My boyfriend and I just moved into a new apartment and needed a whole new bedroom set, and living room furniture. When we walked in we were greeted immediately by Mo. he was AMAZING! After we had everything picked out he went above and beyond to get our sets delivered in the time period we were looking for! Absolutely going back for any other furniture needs! Love love love them!
RUN do not walk away from this chain of stores. By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Had to talk a floor sales rep into helping me, was obviously an inconvenience for him. Once I got him to help, order placed, I never received an email receipt as promised. Scheduled delivery 10 days later. Ashley was a no show. Scheduled a second delivery 3 weeks later. They delivered 3 out of 4 defective products. I called to cancel order after so many headaches (and missed work income to meet the deliveries). They told me not only would they charge me to pick up the defective merchandise, they would charge me a restocking fee. READ THE FINE PRINT!!! They wanted me to schedule yet another delivery (more missed income) so they can try and get it right. I said no, we have nothing more to talk about. Called my CC company to dispute charge.
