Quay and all the sales associates were very helpful but not persistent. They answered questions and pointed out key highlights of the pieces but allowed us to shop on our own. It was a very nice experience and ended up with a new sofa!

My family and I visited this Ashley Outlet location on 11/2/25 looking for a new sofa. Not only did we find a beautiful sofa for a great price, we had Tyrone (our salesman) to assist us with the process. He was very patient as we went back and forth trying to settle on a decision and even provided us with measuring tape, so we can make sure what we were looking for would fit into our desired space at home. Our sofa was delivered on the date promised and the delivery guys were excellent as well. Thank you Tyrone and Ashley Furniture Outlet for a great experience! We will visit again for future needs.

Was greeted by Tyrone after him helping us for a little and figuring out pricing and all we walked around and tried some other couches and found something better. I’m very disappointed with my experience at Ashley Furniture Outlet. The sales practices are deceptive, and what I received was not what I was shown or promised. I DIDN'T BUY THIS ITEM! The items are not the same. The table was the wrong color and clearly a bait-and-switch situation. The quality of the furniture is poor, and the customer service was even worse. I've never shopped at this store before and this will be my last time. I'll go back to the more reputable establishments. I bought a table set for a certain color and made it clear to Doug, my sales person. I showed a photo of the color that needed to be matched. As the purchase moved forward it was never mentioned by the sales associate that this store doesn’t have colors but "close enough because its wood" colors. This color is extremely different than what was displayed in the store. Not one person I've shown photos to states they are in the same color family regardless of the lighting. There are parts falling off less than 12 hours after delivery and the item has no use. The delivery team was kind and respected my home but didn't fully unpack the table after I was asked if I wanted the middle leaf opened. It's still packed. Delivery was almost $300 and should be white glove. It is not. When I brought up the issue, there was no genuine effort to make things right. Instead, I was simply told to “review the receipt” and reminded of the “no return” policy. I was sent several emails denying my request for a return. I'd even consider them exchanging the item for the correct color that I agreed to purchase but there have been no attempts to make this gross error correct. This kind of response shows a complete lack of accountability or concern for customer satisfaction. Because of this experience, I will not be recommending this store to anyone personally or professionally including for home or commercial bulk purchases. I'll be requesting that anyone using this company they switch to another vendor. I expected better and am extremely disappointed in how my situation was handled. I am beyond frustrated. This type of transaction is absolutely unacceptable. I will be placing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Qay explains things very clearly, and if you speak Spanish, she's always willing to help you in any way she can. Things to improve: The service could be much better if they offered seating during the sales process. It would also be different from other places if they did different things, such as asking "Do you want something to drink?" or doing small things that make a difference. Thank you to the entire team. We went in yesterday to look at couches, and the sales consultant Daquan was immediately helpful! We were actually looking at a couch that we liked the shape and material of but not color, so we were about to leave when he came over and mentioned they had it in exactly the color we were looking for. The store is neat and organized, easy to look through, and the buying process was easy.

Walked into the store with my 3 year old son the other day. I wasn’t fully intending to buy a sectional yet, I really just wanted to try some to get an idea of what I would want when I was ready to buy. From the second we walked in the door, Doug was amazing! He greeted us immediately, and acknowledged my son, asked his name and gave him something to keep him occupied while we were in the store. He had me try a couple at first that I didn’t really like, but he got more information from me as to what I was looking for so I mentioned having a cat, 3 young kids, and prior back surgery so I didn’t want anything too firm. He took me over to the perfect one. It is the Next-Gen DuraPella. It’s resistant to scratches and water-repellent, and has a zero gravity reclining mechanism so was perfect for what I needed. As I said in the beginning, I had little intention of buying anything yet, but Doug was SO friendly and helpful that we ended up driving back 2 days later and ordering. Thank you, Doug!

I stopped in the Charlotte Ashley location to purchase an outdoor patio set that I saw in the Pineville location. I dealt with Liz and Tina and they were super saved me a lot of money and said I was sorry that I didn’t come to this location sooner because they were very pleasant. I also told him that I just moved here from New York and I needed to buy a lot of furniture. I purchased some in the Pineville location. I would have saved more money if I shopped in the Charlotte location I even mentioned that I purchased some stuff in rooms to go, and everybody stopped what they were doing and looked up And everybody laughed like I said a bad word I will definitely be Shopping in that location again thanks to all of them.

In February...a chair we received was damaged in the box. When we opened it. The company said because we do t live at the address on the bill they will not honor the warranty... after working with the salesperson for the past 6 months trying to get this resolved...still not being taken care of. Doug saved the day. One of the hardest things anyone has to do is move an elderly parent into a facility. My family suddenly found ourselves at that point, and honestly, my head was somewhere else entirely. I had a terrible experience earlier that day trying to get furniture quickly—but then we walked into Ashley Outlet and met Doug. He was kind, patient, and really seemed to understand how stressed and scattered we werem Doug helped us get exactly what we needed and arranged for next-day delivery to the facility so my loved one could have a dresser and nightstand right away—just enough to feel a little more grounded in a scary, uncertain time. So glad we stopped in late on a Thursday night. Thank you, Doug.

On Saturday, June 21st, my husband, son, and I walked into the Ashley Furniture Warehouse in Matthews to help my son furnish his very first apartment. A nice gentleman named Doug approached us and asked how he could help and what we were looking for. My son was initially looking for a couch, but we ended up browsing through dining tables, TV stands, and end tables as well. Doug was incredibly patient and thorough—he took the time to draw out each room and helped us figure out exactly where the furniture would be placed when it arrives at my son’s apartment on Thursday, July 3rd. I can’t tell you what a godsend he was for us during this important moment in my son’s life. Doug made what could have been a stressful day feel exciting, manageable, and even fun. His kindness and attention to detail were above and beyond anything we expected. I was so impressed with Doug that I came back to the Ashley Furniture Warehouse the very next day, on Sunday, June 22nd, this time with my daughter, who just moved into her first home. We arrived just before 5 PM, and honestly, I didn’t think she would buy anything that day. But once again, Doug greeted us with the same warm, helpful attitude. He guided my daughter through her options and answered every question with care. By the time we left, she had purchased a couch, dining table, TV stand, and end tables—everything she needed to make her house a home. Doug also helped both of my kids apply for financing, which was such a huge help as they’re both starting out on their own. Ashley Furniture is incredibly lucky to have someone like Doug on their team. He made a real difference in both of my children’s lives, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the way he took care of our family on both visits.

STAY AWAY FROM DOUG AT THIS ASHLEY STORE! Sleazy salesman at its finest. Overpromises and under delivers. Walked into the store and doug greeted us. We looked at furniture for a few hours and had stuff picked out, however we had plans later and could not finish our order that day. Doug was very nice during our buying process, and promised we would get most of our order on June 4th and the rest on june 21st. That night he texted multiple times to get us to come back in the store the next day to complete the deal. We went back in and purchased the furniture as stated, and after that it all went downhill. We were told we would be given a delivery time frame 2 days before our alleged june 4th date. On june 2nd we received no call so we reached out to doug. I called him and my call was declined. I then texted him the issue and all he said was “can I call you later”. Keep in mind, we had moved all our furniture out of our room and sold it thinking we would have everything on june 4th aside from the mattress which was coming the 21st. We never received another text or message from Doug. It seems as if he only cares about making a sale and will screw you over and not respond after you sign the contract. You would think he would take care of his customers and at least respond after they spend thousands of dollars with him, but apparently he only cares about the money and not about the customers in the slightest. We then had to drive 40 minutes to the store and speak with a manager and figured out that Doug set all of our furniture to be delivered on the 21st and nothing on the 4th as promised. Funny enough, the manager told us the furniture such as the dresser wasnt even available in the warehouse until the 13th so there was no possibility of it being delivered on the 4th when he told us it would be delivered. Again Doug seems to lie and cheat customers to make a dollar, which is why I will NEVER use doug or Ashley again. The manager did do the best he could and moved our delivery to today (the 13th) and gave us a slight discount, but when the furniture was delivered they sent us some wrong pieces for the bed frame and am now awaiting a call back for them to set up a time to redeliver the proper furniture which who knows how long will take. All in all, an utter disaster of an experience for customers who spent almost 10k to be treated like trash.

Check the model and color. See the pictures posted. When spoke about this they are very rude, no proper answer. I want Doug to resolve this.
