We had an excellent experience at Ashley! Daniel greeted us at the door and checked in with us, not pushy at all, answered all our questions and we purchased a new sofa, mattress and 2 new pillows. I purchased a dining room table, 4 chairs, and a bench from the Ashley store in Mooresville on 7/26/25 with a delivery date set for 8/19/25. Leading up to delivery, I received multiple text confirmations, and the delivery team arrived on time. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The crew began unpacking and assembling the table (“white glove” delivery), but quickly discovered they didn’t have the hardware to put it together. Neither delivery person spoke English, so they had to call a translator, who then had to call customer service. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, I finally got on the line with a representative who told me I’d need to wait 7–10 more days for the missing parts to arrive and suggested I just accept the order as-is. When I asked about compensation for the inconvenience—especially since I had already gotten rid of my old table—she said she couldn’t answer that. At that point, I refused the order and requested a refund. The delivery team packed everything back up and left, then called the Mooresville store. I later spoke with the manager, who apologized and promised I’d receive a refund once the furniture was returned to the warehouse. To make matters worse, when I first purchased the set, the salesperson was extremely pushy about selling me a 5-year coverage plan. Out of curiosity, I checked online afterward and found the exact same set for $500 less than what I was charged in-store. As of today (8/20/25), I still have not received any confirmation about my refund. Between the poor communication, lack of accountability, missing parts, higher pricing, and the overall hassle, this has been an incredibly disappointing experience. This was my first (and last) time shopping at an Ashley store. I cannot recommend the Mooresville location—or Ashley in general—based on this experience.
