I loved working with Ryan. He was easy to work with and not super aggressive which is what I loved most.

Upon entering the store, we encountered Richard, a very pleasant salesman. After a breif conversation, Richard directed us to the area of the store that we was interested in. Absolutely no pressure and was given all the time we needed to make a decision. Once our decision was made, Richard answered all our questions and spent the time to get the financing at the payment we asked for. Our overall experience with Richard and the staff in mooresville was excellent. Will recommend our friends and family to visit the store, even if they are not in the market to purchase.

Just had a great experience at Ashley in Mooresville with our sales rep, Dan. We came in before presidents weekend as we are searching for some new furniture. I'm a first time Ashley Furniture store. The delivery went well. The big issue is the corduroy fabric on my couch is defective. My couch is shedding terribly when sitting on it. The material always attach itself onto clothing. Including self, my guests have experienced the fabric covering their clothing. This couch cost me thousands and I have to avoid sitting on it. I was told over phone (Mooresville location) to call customer care. That got me nowhere. After many customer care calls, I was finally told new furniture bought out of an Ashley store is an "as is" condition. My furniture complaint was immediate upon delivery. I'm stuck with an overly expensive couch that I cannot enjoy (over $2000).

I recently shopped at Ashley and was helped by rep, Dan Pieszchala, at the Moorseville location. I was shopping for family room seating to accommodate my aging parent with a hip condition as well as four teenage boys. It had to be comfortable mostly but also aesthetically pleasing. As recliners tend to look frumpy and dumpy, I knew it was a difficult request. Dan was more than up to the task. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all the options available and spared me trying unsightly ones. Dan was informative and efficient with my time and interest span. After listening to my very specific needs, Dan showed me a few collections and one specifically designed for extra lumbar, hip and ankle support. The collection included a 3 seat sofa, love seat, reclining club chair and an occasional chair. Something for everyone. Designed in a buttery soft leather with hand- stitched details and the sofa was currently on sale at a very reasonable price. The sofa was comfortable and designed to look like a sofa, despite having two end recliners. Most important, my Dad felt incredibly comfortable in the reclining club chair (a nearly impossible task with a bad hip). Unfortunately, the club chair was not on sale. That’s when Dan truly shined. With great professionalism, he worked with me to get me an incredible sale deal to include the sofa and two reclining club chairs. Exactly what I wanted for my space. Dan was proficient, extremely knowledgeable and simply helpful without being pushy throughout my shopping experience. I would give Dan and his keen level of service a 5+ star rating.

We came in the day after a NC SNOW storm to look for a new sofa and found a beautiful floor set on sale that we have been looking at for over a year. Well the entire front of the store outside was a sheet of ice. I loved that the manager was able to professionally help us and deal with that all at once. My husband is in sales so he mentioned we needed to make sure we gave her all the shoutouts. I highly recommend this store. They have been able to make us happy for 7yrs now. Oh can I also mention my son ended up throwing up in the store which was so embarrassing and they handled that so well. We will always recommend this store.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! After having to wait 2 1/2 weeks for my furniture to be delivered and purchasing the Diamond Care Plus delivery service the first piece of furniture coming into my home was damaged. The crew had shoved the loveseat into the home as it was being delivered. I told them at that time I did not want damaged furniture and refused delivery of both the couch and loveseat and went crying into my room as it was Christmas time and I had family coming in and now I had nowhere for them to sit. My FIL had just passed and we were all gathering at my home to comfort each other (hence why I was buying bigger furniture) The delivery people put the couch in my home after telling them I DID NOT WANT it. I did not sign anything stating that I accepted any of their furniture and now I’m stuck with a couch with no loveseat. After speaking with customer service numerous times and never receiving a phone call back I finally got in touch with someone today after Christmas and again there is no care in the world that they screwed this up so bad. Now I am stuck with a couch that I do not want and did not sign for And do not have the loveseat for. Ashley furniture has the worst customer care ever and if you want to do business with a company that does not care about its customers then go right ahead and do business with Ashley furniture in Mooresville, North Carolina because they do not care about their customer. If I could give them a zero I would.

After we were done she came back and asked if we found what we were looking for sat with us and crunched numbers. It was very pleasant. Purchased 2 wonderful powered recliners. Informed salesman that we had no outlets near them though. He told us that it was not needed & sold us 2 battery packs(one for each couch). When the couches were delivered, the delivery person said we needed to purchase 4 more to make the couches work. Had an electrician install outlets and tried to take back batteries. Was informed that I could not take back batteries due to how much time had passed....even though the delivery date was set by Ashley way past the date of original purchase. Explained that I wasn't looking for cash back, maybe just store credit. Still denied. Now I'm stuck with 2 battery packs.

He was so friendly, knowledgeable and all around a pleasure doing business with we highly recommend him. A lot of times sales people can be pushy with things but not him he didn't over whelm us at all, which we really liked! He was the first one to greet us when we walked in, he didn't harrass us like previous sales people in stores in the past, he made it known that he was there to help but left us be to do our thing. Later he saw we were struggling to find something and asked if he could assist, that's major points in my book! He noticed we were looking at something on our phones and pointed us to the area of the items that are usually on there website so we weren't walk around aimlessly all day. Once we settled on what we wanted he worked with us so we could make it happen financially. We were nervous about not being able to afford something but he made it happen and he truly was one of the nicest people I've ever worked with! Whenever we need to buy furniture again we will certainly be coming back to this store and looking for Dan to assist! Everyone else of course was also very nice in the store as well, we were just lucky enough to have caught Dan's assistance!

Great experience at this location! We’ve bought several pieces over the years and always had great service. Dan Pieszchala helped me with a sleeper sofa for my home office and was so kind and informative.

We were so excited to receive the chair. It looked fine until I spun it around to see the spot on the back. They don't offer replacements if you sign for it. The driver literally just left when I seen this and I called customer service at that moment. I have to wait for material to be sent to my house and then wait for October before they can schedule someone to come out and repair it. On top of this, they only come out on Tuesday and Thursday which are my important days at work. They won't share what time they will come out until 2 days prior. Just heads up to inspect all around your product when delivered or this is what you get... Not at all customer satisfaction for me. I'm in disbelief about this whole situation after spending my money on new furniture.

Great experience with Sandy Ruhlin over at the Mooresville location. I called into inquire about in order I was trying to do online. Sandy just went ahead and started to help with the order and helped me get it done. She was very proactive and kept in touch with me through the process. I'll be looking to purchase more items from her store Update: Since my original purchase I have seen Sandy two to three other times and I've made two purchases on two different occasions with my most recent being on Saturday March 8th 2025. As always, she is helpful and gets everything done quickly. I would recommend going to see her. You won't be disappointed.

Used Ashley before, but my latest family experience has been a failure. Ordered 4 months in advance. Was notified several pieces were not going to be delivered. Excuse #1 Pirates had attacked the shipping freighter. Excuse #2 sorry we just don’t have it, but we usually get those in three days, but telling me two weeks not three days. I’m willing to modify this review or amend it based on how Ashley handles this. So they have offered to refund some of the items cost. So I’m editing to a favorable review. We will see if everything arrives.

Walked in for a new mattress, knew exactly what I wanted, confident I didn’t need help, but Samie quickly proved me otherwise! This girl… she’s amazing. Not only did she know exactly what to show us based on our comfort preferences, she walked us all around the store carrying a pillow and Sani-cloths (so we could truly test out the feel of the mattress with a pillow without putting our faces on it), showing us mattress after mattress until we found one we liked. She isn’t pushy, didn’t make us feel rushed, let us mess around with our “cart” to see what fell in budget and what didn't. Great experience, great prices! Excited to get our pieces!!!

Ashley Angels I just moved here this Tuesday due to a family emergency, and needed to furnish a home in a short time frame. My Home Furnishing Consultant, Ryan, is extremely professional, compassionate , patient, organized & thorough. He helped me measure the furniture and sketched out a room diagram to ensure that we were ordering the right dimensions per room. Ryan reviewed my order with me and assured me that I would have a house full of furniture this weekend so that I could create a home for my family member. Sammie, one of the managers, was gracious and provided me an opportunity to make it a home at a discounted price with protection coverage. The online store was giving me trouble ordering the bedroom set i wanted and Ewa helped me over the phone efficiently and was able to do everything I needed for the delivery which was more complicated then most. He kept an eye on us though and came over to help when it was clear I had a question. He was so easy to work with! We had a great experience with Dan Pieszchala at Ashley Home Store in Mooresville. We were looking for a bedroom set and Dan was very knowledgeable about the furniture pieces and was able to tell us about all the options. Dan was able to help us choose the perfect set at a great price and set up delivery that was most convenient to us. We will definitely go back and see Dan for our next purchase.

Bought a 5000$ couch in November. It’s been broken ever since. Have had 5 different service people come out and claim they fix it but yet the whole couch is leaning. Demanding a replacement piece at this point. But no one seems to be of any help at this establishment. Better off going to rooms to go. We’ve been loyal customers, bought from here several times over the years and this is beyond ridiculous customer service.

We walked into Ashley needing a bunky board. We also joked around about a couch. Dan was there. He informed us that we could order it and to look around and take our time. I like to be able to glance. We saw him, asked a couple questions, and wandered off again. Dan did come over to tell us that he had to check some other people out and not ignoring us. We had purchased from him before. What a wonderful person! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel comfortable, informed, and welcomed. Richard is a top notch person, we walked in as potential buyers and again we left as friends. I would recommend anyone to this store. You won’t be disappointed.
