Ashley Store Mooresville, NC

We recently moved to Mooresville, NC and were in need of help buying furniture. Daniel Caffin took the time to help us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He offered suggestions and showed photos of pieces that were online on Ashley’s website, if we were undecided. He was patient and attentive to what we wanted, not pushy at all. We ended up buying three pieces of furniture and plan to go back if we need more. Daniel helped make our move to NC more smooth and comfortable.

We went into the Ashley Store looking for some key pieces of furniture. Samie greeted us as we came through the door with a welcoming smile. She thoroughly explained the sales going on, told us to browse the store and that she would be close by if we had questions. As we browsed the store, Samie periodically checked in on us to see if we had any questions or needed anything. As we chose our pieces, she was right there to answer our questions. During our check out process, she was extremely attentive to our delivery requests, took down all the pertinent information, and repeated during her documentation to make sure she had everything correct. She made us feel like we were great friends. If you are looking to purchase furniture of any kind, please stop in and see Samie! She far exceeded our expectations!! Thank you, Samie, for being phenomenal!

Sandra (sandy) provided excellent customer service! Busy Saturday with lots of sales people on the floor. She was at the door to greet us. She was helpful without being intrusive, and the only Sales person that acknowledged us. Way to go Sandra!

Went in to Ashley in Mooresville looking for some living room furniture and was warmly greeted by Rich. He was super patient, right balance of being there for questions but let us do our thing. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and we found exactly what we wanted with an excellent price point. He was great to work with and made it a pleasant experience for us. We are excited for our delivery and we walked away very satisfied !

Had a wonderful experience with Will. He was very helpful with my friend and I. Then he had to step aside in the middle of our transaction to help another customer. Our transaction was handed off to Sandra and our experience severely declined. I had to go over everything for a second time and I felt no connection like we did with Will. Will was very sweet and understanding and I felt like Sandra had the impression she knew better than we did.

Sandy was a pleasure to work with and helped me pick out the perfect furniture for my new home.

Dan P. Was amazing to work with. He listen to everything we needed and helped us out with a wonderful deal. We are upgrading all our furniture and he took us around the store helping us look for exactly what we wanted! With our little one on the way, he worked with us on finding the best things for our room and nursery! Dan truly has a passion to help others find the perfect match for me!

We had a great experience with our salesman Dan. He allowed us time and space to look around but was also avaliable for all of our questions. We went in the store looking for one thing, but left with 3 things. The reason the rating is 4 starts is due to the Ashley delivery fee and schedule. The schedule for our area is Tuesday and Thursday which will cause us to miss a day of work or work from home if possible. Our jobs are in office jobs, not remote.

Will did an awesome job and gave me an amazing price. Very knowledgeable. When you visit Ashley Furniture ask for Will, he won’t disappoint.

I purchased a dining room table, 4 chairs, and a bench from the Ashley store in Mooresville on 7/26/25 with a delivery date set for 8/19/25. Leading up to delivery, I received multiple text confirmations, and the delivery team arrived on time. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The crew began unpacking and assembling the table (“white glove” delivery), but quickly discovered they didn’t have the hardware to put it together. Neither delivery person spoke English, so they had to call a translator, who then had to call customer service. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, I finally got on the line with a representative who told me I’d need to wait 7–10 more days for the missing parts to arrive and suggested I just accept the order as-is. When I asked about compensation for the inconvenience—especially since I had already gotten rid of my old table—she said she couldn’t answer that. At that point, I refused the order and requested a refund. The delivery team packed everything back up and left, then called the Mooresville store. I later spoke with the manager, who apologized and promised I’d receive a refund once the furniture was returned to the warehouse. To make matters worse, when I first purchased the set, the salesperson was extremely pushy about selling me a 5-year coverage plan. Out of curiosity, I checked online afterward and found the exact same set for $500 less than what I was charged in-store. As of today (8/20/25), I still have not received any confirmation about my refund. Between the poor communication, lack of accountability, missing parts, higher pricing, and the overall hassle, this has been an incredibly disappointing experience. This was my first (and last) time shopping at an Ashley store. I cannot recommend the Mooresville location—or Ashley in general—based on this experience.

This is my third time shopping at this location and with Dan Pieszchala. I’ve had a great experience each time and with Dan. He’s been knowledgeable, patient, and has taken care of my shopping needs for each house and stage of life I’ve been over the past decade! You can’t say that for many sales people! I have furnished 2-3 different homes for all sorts of needs and stages of my life and have Ashley furniture has kept up with current market trends and offered great sales. Dan was not pushy and excellent as always to work with! I couldn’t recommend him or this location more! Thank you!

Sales person we had was very annoying and pushy they’re furniture is mediocre at best and can be found same style and quality for way less just about anywhere else. If you want new furniture check out sweet dreams mattress and furniture. Amazing staff not pushy and better furniture

BEWARE- Never accept the furniture that is delivered if there are any defects. Make them take it back and bring you a new one because this will be prioritized. If you keep it you have to deal with Customer Service. It was delivered in Jan 2025 It is now going on 6 months and we haven’t to have a service man out to do repairs or bring us a new cushion. I spoke to Customer Care multiple times with promises to call me back and they do not!!

My mom and I walked into Ashley's yesterday to look at new bedroom furniture for her room. Dan approached us and he was very friendly and provided us with some suggestions, yet he let us have our space to look at all different options. Once we looked around, my mom picked out a set that she really liked. So, I informed Dan that I would be back in an hour with my husband. We are very loyal to a salesperson who assists us and will always come back to that person. My husband and I came back around 5:00 p.m. and purchased the bedroom suite plus the TemperPedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress for my mom as a gift (since she made the trek here with us from California). Dan was amazing. He assisted us and got us additional discounts, and told us about an amazing floor model opportunity for the TemperPedic mattress. At no time during the process did he try to pressure us or upsell us. He spent lots of time with us. By the time the deal was done, we felt like we have been friends for ever. We will stop by again to furnish our guest room and we will definitely see Dan. I think we need to take him out to dinner! He was amazing and such a joy! Definitely a 5 star for Dan!

I'm a first time Ashley Furniture store. The delivery went well. The big issue is the corduroy fabric on my couch is defective. My couch is shedding terribly when sitting on it. The material always attach itself onto clothing. Including self, my guests have experienced the fabric covering their clothing. This couch cost me thousands and I have to avoid sitting on it. I was told over phone (Mooresville location) to call customer care. That got me nowhere. After many customer care calls, I was finally told new furniture bought out of an Ashley store is an "as is" condition. My furniture complaint was immediate upon delivery. I'm stuck with an overly expensive couch that I cannot enjoy (over $2000).

I recently shopped at Ashley and was helped by rep, Dan Pieszchala, at the Moorseville location. I was shopping for family room seating to accommodate my aging parent with a hip condition as well as four teenage boys. It had to be comfortable mostly but also aesthetically pleasing. As recliners tend to look frumpy and dumpy, I knew it was a difficult request. Dan was more than up to the task. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all the options available and spared me trying unsightly ones. Dan was informative and efficient with my time and interest span. After listening to my very specific needs, Dan showed me a few collections and one specifically designed for extra lumbar, hip and ankle support. The collection included a 3 seat sofa, love seat, reclining club chair and an occasional chair. Something for everyone. Designed in a buttery soft leather with hand- stitched details and the sofa was currently on sale at a very reasonable price. The sofa was comfortable and designed to look like a sofa, despite having two end recliners. Most important, my Dad felt incredibly comfortable in the reclining club chair (a nearly impossible task with a bad hip). Unfortunately, the club chair was not on sale. That’s when Dan truly shined. With great professionalism, he worked with me to get me an incredible sale deal to include the sofa and two reclining club chairs. Exactly what I wanted for my space. Dan was proficient, extremely knowledgeable and simply helpful without being pushy throughout my shopping experience. I would give Dan and his keen level of service a 5+ star rating.

We came in the day after a NC SNOW storm to look for a new sofa and found a beautiful floor set on sale that we have been looking at for over a year. Well the entire front of the store outside was a sheet of ice. I loved that the manager was able to professionally help us and deal with that all at once. My husband is in sales so he mentioned we needed to make sure we gave her all the shoutouts. I highly recommend this store. They have been able to make us happy for 7yrs now. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! After having to wait 2 1/2 weeks for my furniture to be delivered and purchasing the Diamond Care Plus delivery service the first piece of furniture coming into my home was damaged. The crew had shoved the loveseat into the home as it was being delivered. I told them at that time I did not want damaged furniture and refused delivery of both the couch and loveseat and went crying into my room as it was Christmas time and I had family coming in and now I had nowhere for them to sit. My FIL had just passed and we were all gathering at my home to comfort each other (hence why I was buying bigger furniture) The delivery people put the couch in my home after telling them I DID NOT WANT it. I did not sign anything stating that I accepted any of their furniture and now I’m stuck with a couch with no loveseat. After speaking with customer service numerous times and never receiving a phone call back I finally got in touch with someone today after Christmas and again there is no care in the world that they screwed this up so bad. Now I am stuck with a couch that I do not want and did not sign for And do not have the loveseat for. Ashley furniture has the worst customer care ever and if you want to do business with a company that does not care about its customers then go right ahead and do business with Ashley furniture in Mooresville, North Carolina because they do not care about their customer. If I could give them a zero I would.

Purchased 2 wonderful powered recliners. Informed salesman that we had no outlets near them though. He told us that it was not needed & sold us 2 battery packs(one for each couch). When the couches were delivered, the delivery person said we needed to purchase 4 more to make the couches work. Had an electrician install outlets and tried to take back batteries. Was informed that I could not take back batteries due to how much time had passed....even though the delivery date was set by Ashley way past the date of original purchase. Explained that I wasn't looking for cash back, maybe just store credit. Still denied. Now I'm stuck with 2 battery packs.

Excellent service! The salesman Dan Pieszchala did an excellent job helping us out with everything that we needed. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and all around a pleasure doing business with we highly recommend him. A lot of times sales people can be pushy with things but not him he didn't over whelm us at all, which we really liked! He was the first one to greet us when we walked in, he didn't harrass us like previous sales people in stores in the past, he made it known that he was there to help but left us be to do our thing. Later he saw we were struggling to find something and asked if he could assist, that's major points in my book! He noticed we were looking at something on our phones and pointed us to the area of the items that are usually on there website so we weren't walk around aimlessly all day. Once we settled on what we wanted he worked with us so we could make it happen financially. We were nervous about not being able to afford something but he made it happen and he truly was one of the nicest people I've ever worked with! Whenever we need to buy furniture again we will certainly be coming back to this store and looking for Dan to assist! Everyone else of course was also very nice in the store as well, we were just lucky enough to have caught Dan's assistance!

We’ve bought a lot of furniture from Ashley in the past. Stopped in this weekend to order another piece. Salesman said he’d get us the best possible price. Price seemed a little high but these days what isn’t ? On the way home we decided to check their website and the item was $400 cheaper! Yeah, they ended up matching it but not happy with the run around.

Didn't hover as I looked around and didn't try to push anything on me like alot of sales people can do. Was around anytime I had questions also. In the end she scratched my itch...lol... and I walked out purchasing a power recliner sofa. Other staff was nice also and did not bother me, knowing I had done been helped.
