Today I visited the Raleigh location today on Capitol Blvd. I had a particular couch sectional that I found online and wanted to see in person. Fortunately this store had it on display. When I walked in the door, I was greeted by Richard Haigh. I am not a people person and I suffer from high anxiety. However, he was very patient, professional, kind, and approachable. He not only helped me with what I was looking for, but he went above and beyond. I recommend not only this location, but you should request Richard Haigh as your salesman.

Recently made a purchase in Ashley. Our sales representative Antone, was very helpful. Took his time and to listened and provided rigth suggestions.

I could not have received better customer service; courteous, pleasant voice tone, and attractive to boot. Carmen, the sales lady was approachable, patient, caring, and honest. She answered all my questions even when I asked the same questions several times--approachable. My wife and I were indecisive of which furniture set we wanted--patient. My nephew is IDD. He was with us while shopping. Carmen assured us and my nephew that he'd be in the best of care while we browsed the showroom. I'm an emotional empath. I detected that Carmen was honest in answering if the discounts we received was factual or just a gimmick. In addition, Carmen and I share the same born day.

Perfect shopping even with a toddler. The moment I wallked in Antone offered assistance not with their furniture but with my granddaughter. The entire experience was extraordinary. I shared with Antone what I wanted, he listened and also shared his wisdom as well. He was knowledgeable and confident. I ordered a conversation set, a dinette set and a bookcase. I'm so excited! Everything is beautiful! What really warmed me over was yes of course the furniture but the kindness and sincerity in this generation is rare especially from young adults. There were 3 staff working and all conveyed such a sweet reminder how good a business shopping experience could be. From my observations, the other two which I think the tall guy was the manager, were topnotched professionals as well. I noticed he had trust in Antone. He was silent but had a charming professional smile and both he and the female were very supportive. A team for sure! I can't think of anything that could have been improved. Desde el mes de octubre del 2025 hice una compra de un colchón y cuando llegaron a hacer la entrega un mes después me dicen que no lo puedo usar hasta dentro de 24 horas, llamo a la representante que atendió para venta y me dicen q debo permanecer con el colchón por 30 días , luego de esto me dan solamente un número para llamar que nunca contestan o responden mensajes, empiezo a ir a la tienda para buscar posibles soluciones y resulta que me dicen q no me pueden hacer el cambio para que ya pasaron 3 meses y a todas estas el colchón que me ofrecieron en el tienda es una referencia totalmente distinta a la entregaron en mi casa! Se supone que ellos son los profesionales y por esa razón acudí a la tienda pero que decepción para poder resolver los problemas a los clientes y se apegan a sus políticas que solamente les conviene a ellos! Y nos dejan sin argumentos a nosotros como clientes, si alguien sabe que otra medida puedo tomar me gustaría que compartieran sus experiencias en alguna situación similar.

I came to the store primarily looking for a TV console. I was greeted by Rick. I told him what I needed and he was helpful in walking me thru the store to find one that would fit my space. I found one I liked and he told me there was today only sale of 25% discount with 12 month financing. But they quickly add the diamond care protection and delivery cost to the total for financing. I told him I was not interested in the protection for the solid wood console and asked if delivery could be paid cash not financed. He said it was not absolutely necessary to have it. I seceded the console but the delivery was 2 wks out and I really needed it sooner. He told me after a bit that they could sell me the floor model w/30% discount and cash delivery. He went to ask manager but somehow the best he could do was 25% now. I didn’t want to argue so I took it at that price with a 2 day delivery now. He said laughing “ but If you did the financing I’m sure he would give you an extra discount” I also told him about a sectional that I would like as well. He took me that exactly what I am looking for. Again gave me the 12 month no interest plan with protection. I decided to try the financing, was pre approved at store hut the financing co. didnt approve me for reasons they will let me know later. So now he stopped and basically told me to follow up with the finance people and if I work it out come back. He then said if not we could also do 90day same as cash with same discount price he was giving me .i told him I was willing to do that but for some reason cash is not king there and unless you do the financing they are not quick to sell to you. I.told him I could pay cash now for it but he still let me walk out and “come back” after I discussed with finance co just in case! So bottom line, I Guess they only get a “star on the board” for getting a sale with a financing w/highly recommended diamond care plan. I rather buy the couch thru another outlet. Didn’t like the hard push for it and would rather let me walk out than sell it to me 90 same as cash. Not doing another trip there.!

We purchased a Mosswell love seat & arranged to have it delivered as soon as we are able to recycle our current large couch. Happily the Mosswell was on sale. WOW! For someone who really doesn’t enjoy shopping, I had a fantastic experience at Ashley Furniture in Raleigh. I worked with Carmen who Invested a lot of time in assuring that I had a great experience! I had spent countless hours online shopping for furniture in preparation for a move but didn’t feel confident ordering anything without touching and feeling it first. Some of what I was looking at online was Ashley Furniture and I happen to be driving by this location and pulled in just sit on a couple couches. As soon as I started talking with Carmen, my buying anxiety disappeared, and I was able to make smart choices for four different rooms. Carmen is super knowledgeable and took fantastic care! Delivered today was a Nectar Bed and sectional sofa. After delivery I noticed a black box hanging to the floor under the bed. During assembly a plastic piece holding the massage unit was broken off. I also noticed the safety straps missing that hold the two halves together. Delivery people did not ask our preferences for the height of the bed when assembling so I'll need to take the bed apart to shorten the legs and put it all together again. Customer service reply was that their "master carpenter" can't fix it so we were told to contact the manufacturer in Wisconsin regarding the missing and broken parts. Salesman Larry was great, store manager was great, customer service is horrible. They don't care about after the sale. Avoid. EDIT: after spending over 15 hours this week trying to get the problem fixed, talking to store, corporate, delivery and restoration, Diamond care, someone somewhere finally agreed to send me the parts but I have to fix it myself. I'm lowering my review from 3 to 1 star. Absolute HORRIBLE experience. Ashley absolutely refused to fix the problem the drivers caused. Never, ever again.

Rick Haigh was super helpful, he was there when we had a question but didn't make us feel pressured. When started to get closer to looking seriously at a recliner, he was there to answer our questions and helped with making sure the chair was powered up that we first looked at. When we expressed what we were looking for in amenities and controls, he showed us the options available and answered specific questions leading us to make a solid decision and purchase a recliner I hope to relax in for many years to come. We have been a customer of Ashley Furniture for many years. Carmen sold us a sectional we have been wanting for a long time. The nex-gen Durapella was the perfect match for our needs. She was knowledgeable about the products and services. We will continue to be customers of the Raleigh, Ashley Furniture!

The worst service and experience ever. Three unorganized delivery drivers assembled my dining room table and before I could get to the right dept on the phone to complain about its instability, the drivers were pulling off. Customer Service assured me drivers would turn around, rectify or remove furniture and give me a call back. After no callback, I made 2 additional calls to Customer Service and was told I was wrong to call because any issues with delivery, the drivers have an expectation to call and report, not the customer. Also, the drivers declined returning to home as promised stating “customer and driver reached a resolution” (this never happened). Now, Customer Service refuses to come and get this wobbly table that now has wood chips on my floor because item is considered “used and unreturnable”. Needless to say, devastated is an understatement. Worst decision ever!

Jose Manuel helped me find the perfect sofa for my apartment. He was very patient and made the interaction personable, not pushy or trying to sell anything just helping me find what worked best for me. I made him pull up quotes for 10 different selections and he was more than happy to help no matter how long it took. He was working with multiple groups of people at once and was able to get me settled out within 30 minutes of walking in while attending to multiple people, he has a passion for what he does which I can appreciate being in the service industry myself. Also, he is Portuguese and shares a name with my own father, and I could see the Portuguese hospitality shine. Look for his name when you walk in.

I am writing this review with the sourest of tastes in my mouth. I went into the store, found a living room suit that I fell in love with And was ready to purchase it. The sales person that I spoke with was very personable. I had made mention that I was going to be moving into my apartment in exactly a month and did not want to have to bring the furniture to my old apartment. Have it sit there for a month and then move it again he said he would reach out to The warehouse manager and see if they can clear some space for me to go ahead and purchase it and pick it up within a month said that he would have his colleague reach out to me the next day as he was going out of Town. The next day I spoke with his colleague and they said that they could only keep it on the floor for two weeks with which I replied back. I would rather it not be on the floor after I purchased it, but that I was told it could be kept in the warehouse for a month. She told me it could not be kept in the warehouse for a month. This living room suit was only $1900 so I can understand that not being a lot of money but honestly I do still need a new bedroom suit and a dining room table and chairs. This was going to go a long way towards a good relationship with you guys. I came back in today to speak with my original sales person and he was there. The furniture was gone though. Needless to say, I won’t be shopping there ever again

I purchased two beautiful pieces (reclining loveseat and chair) from Ashely Furniture on Capital Blvd. Grant, the salesperson was great and stated that the pieces were in stock. I happily paid for my purchase and set a pickup date. To my surprise and disappointment, he stated that I would have to pick up my furniture at the warehouse in Four Oaks, NC or pay $350 for delivery to my Raleigh, NC address. I asked if the pieces could ship to their store and he replied no. I wish he had told me from the beginning of our conversation that stock meant "in Four Oaks, NC." If I had known this from the beginning of the sale, I may not have purchased so readily.

Bought ashley sofa set leather 2 years back. Paid $500 for 5 year warranty. Was promised all torn will be covered and each item if needed will be replaced 1 time. Now the sofa have all the torn and neither 5startservice nor ashley is willing to provide maintenance for this. It was a bad investment to purchase from ashley. Bad customer service. No value of warranty promises.check the picture for sofa after 2 years. I would not recommend anyone to buy from ashley anymore. Waste of money. Pathetic customer service and experience.

Still No Couch After a Month – Terrible Experience I purchased a couch from Ashley’s Furniture for over $3,000, and it’s been over a month with no delivery, no updates, and no accountability. They haven’t even shipped it yet. Every time I call customer service, I either get vague answers or promises that never lead to any real resolution. For the amount of money I paid, I expected far better service. Instead, I’ve been left completely in the dark with no idea when (or if) my furniture will actually arrive. This has been nothing but frustration from start to finish. Do NOT order from Ashley’s. They are quick to take your money but clearly not concerned with delivering the product — or the basic customer service you’d expect from a national retailer. I regret buying from them and won’t make that mistake again.

We are both new to the area but I bought a couch in Florida at Ashley and told my mom we should just go there (after visits at Pottery Barn and ARHAUS) The gal at the front was really nice and accommodating (maybe Sandy?) and Larry was the associate that helped us. He was very straight to the point and knew exactly what I was looking for after a quick lowdown. He was able to get some discounts for us and most importantly in these kind of situations-not pushy, had all the answers and was able to facilitate shipping and still had some design advice! He took really good care of my mom and she really found exactly what she was looking for! Ashley always has a good protection plan (think red wine on white couch situations) and warranties. Thanks Larry!

I have contacted them several times left messages and no one has responded back. I am so disappointed with Ashley because it should be your responsibility to make sure from purchase to delivery is up to Ashley’s standards. It’s been over a month and still have a broken chandelier and no response from this third party delivery company. Ashley did offer me a credit for my inconvenience which was nice however I am very dissatisfied and extremely unhappy customer.

Avoid and also if you do purchase furniture you make sure it solid wood and not pressed cardboard. I got a bed frame and the entire thing is pressed cardboard screws have all pulled out had to pulled it apart and use a super glue to hold it together including new supports because the cardboard cant support itself

Me. Grant sold us the best couch in the store. He greeted us at the door and let us browse the store without being right up under us. When he saw us getting comfy he would come tell us about the product. I like the laidback approach. He made sure everything fit our plan and ultimately he got us to purchase that day. And he provided a nonprofit that will come pick up our old couches!

China was super friendly, and very helpful. Furniture is reasonably priced and good quality.

Went in looking for a couch/sectional. China immediately greeted us, asked what we were looking for, and showed us some options that fit what we asked for! She was incredibly nice and professional, and didn’t pressure us at all. She worked with our budget and helped us design a couch that fit our living room. China didn’t pressure us when we said we wanted to go to a few more furniture stores before making a decision but we ultimately came back and purchased our couch with her at Ashley. She got us scheduled for delivery and was very communicative. Still waiting for our delivery date so can’t review the couch we bought but can’t recommend working with China enough!

We just did business with Anton at the Raleigh location (Capital Blvd) He was very knowledgeable and knowledgeable explained in great detail about all the different types of styles etc. We felt very comfortable and trusting in Anton since he gave us the knowledge to feel we made the right purchase. We have had come bad experiences with another furniture store in the recent past and did not want to ever deal with that stress again. We highly recommend Anton Ashley store had many options.

Beware of their scam to get you to sign up for a line of credit disguised as signing up to get discounts and savings. Especially if you are a new home buyer. The rep that greeted us knew we had just purchased a home but hadn’t yet closed. He tricked us into signing up for a credit card and when I realized what had happened he said the damage was already done. They tried to justify that it wouldn’t be a problem because they wouldn’t charge us until we took delivery after we had closed. However our mortgage company didn’t agree. We were able to mitigate the problem with our mortgage company. We also had a hard time canceling some items we decided we didn’t want. We did pay cash for a couple items and we really like them which is the only reason I’m not giving them a 1 star rating. All said WE WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN.

Do not waste your money. In store we found the chair we wanted. Paid $999.99 and brought it home. Look online later that evening and the chair is listed at $699.99 ON THEIR WEBSITE. Called the store, but since we already brought it home there is nothing they can do. If we hadn’t brought it home and decided to pick it up later, they would have price matched. This is a classic we got your money, now you mean nothing to us. Terrible business practices at this place, 100% shop elsewhere. Edit: Ashley responded here to email them additional details. I emailed but not sure what additional details you are requesting. I had previously emailed wecare and was told there was nothing you can do. Update: Ashley corporate has made me whole and refunded the $300 difference. It was an obstical course to get here but glad to have a resolution. She confirmed that the stores should be matching internet prices and even checking them daily.

After purchasing an item over the phone, paying in full and signing paperwork, I was assured by the sales associate, Jennifer, that I could pick up my purchase the following day. Trusting her word, I made a long drive to the store (with people to help because they will not help you move anything) only to be told by the manager upon arrival that the item wouldn't be available for pickup for another 2-3 days. While I LOVE the piece of furniture I purchased, this lack of knowledge, communication, and transparency was EXTREMELY frustrating and inconvenient. It ruined my experience. Jennifer didn't even do the bare minimum of apologizing for her mistake! I was also not contacted when the item was ready, I had to call them.

Great job all the way around. Jenny was professional, listened to what I needed for my sitting room and was kind to my son. He is 6'3" and I wanted a comfy couch that would fit his size for when he visits. We found several and decided on one with cupholders and a reclining couch at both ends. Excellent quality furniture and great service! 🤩She set up delivery and we got the battery for aesthetics, with no wires. Great suggestion and convenient too! We also got the warranty for those little accidents that might happen! Very excited to get it next week! Thanks Ashley! Great sales team. 🤩😇

My husband and I went to this Ashley store looking for furniture for our new house. We were greeted by Maryam who was PHENOMENAL!! I could honestly write a book about how patient and kind she was. My husband asked a lot of questions and was very indecisive. She was very helpful in trying to help us piece furniture together. She was also very patient while we were dealing with toddler meltdowns and a fussy/hungry 6 month old. If you are considering buying from this store, I highly suggest working with Maryam! We are so excited to receive our furniture! :)

I was greeted in a professional manner. I was made welcome to the store. I was politely asked what my interest in furnishings might be appointed in a direction of the bedroom furnishings that I wanted to look at as I ask questions. The sales person seemed very knowledgeable about the items I was interested in And made further inquiries about my specific needs and interest. I was shown a variety of merchandise, including islands that were on sale and as I inquired As to make qualities, the sales person is very knowledgeable about make quality versus value. I feel very good about my purchase and look forward to delivery. My sales. Person’s name is Larry Grant and I highly recommend him and when I return for a living room material I would ask specifically for Larry.

My visit to this Ashley store was super easy. I researched beforehand and came in with a specific sectional in mind. Jose A was great and very knowledgeable about the different characteristics of the sectional I wanted. He was also able to confirm the things I knew and answer any questions I had. The approval process with their lender was also super easy to go through. Based on my shopping experience 5/5 stars.
