We have been a customer of Ashley Furniture for many years. Carmen sold us a sectional we have been wanting for a long time. The nex-gen Durapella was the perfect match for our needs. She was knowledgeable about the products and services. We will continue to be customers of the Raleigh, Ashley Furniture!

The worst service and experience ever. Three unorganized delivery drivers assembled my dining room table and before I could get to the right dept on the phone to complain about its instability, the drivers were pulling off. Customer Service assured me drivers would turn around, rectify or remove furniture and give me a call back. After no callback, I made 2 additional calls to Customer Service and was told I was wrong to call because any issues with delivery, the drivers have an expectation to call and report, not the customer. Also, the drivers declined returning to home as promised stating “customer and driver reached a resolution” (this never happened). Now, Customer Service refuses to come and get this wobbly table that now has wood chips on my floor because item is considered “used and unreturnable”. Needless to say, devastated is an understatement. Worst decision ever!

Jose Manuel helped me find the perfect sofa for my apartment. He was very patient and made the interaction personable, not pushy or trying to sell anything just helping me find what worked best for me. I made him pull up quotes for 10 different selections and he was more than happy to help no matter how long it took. He was working with multiple groups of people at once and was able to get me settled out within 30 minutes of walking in while attending to multiple people, he has a passion for what he does which I can appreciate being in the service industry myself. Also, he is Portuguese and shares a name with my own father, and I could see the Portuguese hospitality shine. Look for his name when you walk in.

I am writing this review with the sourest of tastes in my mouth. I went into the store, found a living room suit that I fell in love with And was ready to purchase it. The sales person that I spoke with was very personable. I had made mention that I was going to be moving into my apartment in exactly a month and did not want to have to bring the furniture to my old apartment. Have it sit there for a month and then move it again he said he would reach out to The warehouse manager and see if they can clear some space for me to go ahead and purchase it and pick it up within a month said that he would have his colleague reach out to me the next day as he was going out of Town. The next day I spoke with his colleague and they said that they could only keep it on the floor for two weeks with which I replied back. I would rather it not be on the floor after I purchased it, but that I was told it could be kept in the warehouse for a month. She told me it could not be kept in the warehouse for a month. This living room suit was only $1900 so I can understand that not being a lot of money but honestly I do still need a new bedroom suit and a dining room table and chairs. This was going to go a long way towards a good relationship with you guys. I came back in today to speak with my original sales person and he was there. The furniture was gone though. Needless to say, I won’t be shopping there ever again

I purchased two beautiful pieces (reclining loveseat and chair) from Ashely Furniture on Capital Blvd. Grant, the salesperson was great and stated that the pieces were in stock. I happily paid for my purchase and set a pickup date. To my surprise and disappointment, he stated that I would have to pick up my furniture at the warehouse in Four Oaks, NC or pay $350 for delivery to my Raleigh, NC address. I asked if the pieces could ship to their store and he replied no. I wish he had told me from the beginning of our conversation that stock meant "in Four Oaks, NC." If I had known this from the beginning of the sale, I may not have purchased so readily.

Bought ashley sofa set leather 2 years back. Paid $500 for 5 year warranty. Was promised all torn will be covered and each item if needed will be replaced 1 time. Now the sofa have all the torn and neither 5startservice nor ashley is willing to provide maintenance for this. It was a bad investment to purchase from ashley. Bad customer service. No value of warranty promises.check the picture for sofa after 2 years. I would not recommend anyone to buy from ashley anymore. Waste of money. Pathetic customer service and experience.

Still No Couch After a Month – Terrible Experience I purchased a couch from Ashley’s Furniture for over $3,000, and it’s been over a month with no delivery, no updates, and no accountability. They haven’t even shipped it yet. Every time I call customer service, I either get vague answers or promises that never lead to any real resolution. For the amount of money I paid, I expected far better service. Instead, I’ve been left completely in the dark with no idea when (or if) my furniture will actually arrive. This has been nothing but frustration from start to finish. Do NOT order from Ashley’s. They are quick to take your money but clearly not concerned with delivering the product — or the basic customer service you’d expect from a national retailer. I regret buying from them and won’t make that mistake again.

I went to Ashley yesterday with my mom who is of advanced age. We are both new to the area but I bought a couch in Florida at Ashley and told my mom we should just go there (after visits at Pottery Barn and ARHAUS) The gal at the front was really nice and accommodating (maybe Sandy?) and Larry was the associate that helped us. He was very straight to the point and knew exactly what I was looking for after a quick lowdown. He was able to get some discounts for us and most importantly in these kind of situations-not pushy, had all the answers and was able to facilitate shipping and still had some design advice! He took really good care of my mom and she really found exactly what she was looking for! Ashley always has a good protection plan (think red wine on white couch situations) and warranties. Thanks Larry!

However, Ashley has stated many times that they use a third party delivery company and they are the ones that handles any delivery repairs/issues. I have contacted them several times left messages and no one has responded back. I am so disappointed with Ashley because it should be your responsibility to make sure from purchase to delivery is up to Ashley’s standards. It’s been over a month and still have a broken chandelier and no response from this third party delivery company. Ashley did offer me a credit for my inconvenience which was nice however I am very dissatisfied and extremely unhappy customer.

Avoid and also if you do purchase furniture you make sure it solid wood and not pressed cardboard. I got a bed frame and the entire thing is pressed cardboard screws have all pulled out had to pulled it apart and use a super glue to hold it together including new supports because the cardboard cant support itself

Went in looking for a couch/sectional. China immediately greeted us, asked what we were looking for, and showed us some options that fit what we asked for! She was incredibly nice and professional, and didn’t pressure us at all. She worked with our budget and helped us design a couch that fit our living room. China didn’t pressure us when we said we wanted to go to a few more furniture stores before making a decision but we ultimately came back and purchased our couch with her at Ashley. She got us scheduled for delivery and was very communicative. Still waiting for our delivery date so can’t review the couch we bought but can’t recommend working with China enough!

We just did business with Anton at the Raleigh location (Capital Blvd) He was very knowledgeable and knowledgeable explained in great detail about all the different types of styles etc. We felt very comfortable and trusting in Anton since he gave us the knowledge to feel we made the right purchase. We have had come bad experiences with another furniture store in the recent past and did not want to ever deal with that stress again. We highly recommend Anton Ashley store had many options.

Beware of their scam to get you to sign up for a line of credit disguised as signing up to get discounts and savings. Especially if you are a new home buyer. The rep that greeted us knew we had just purchased a home but hadn’t yet closed. He tricked us into signing up for a credit card and when I realized what had happened he said the damage was already done. They tried to justify that it wouldn’t be a problem because they wouldn’t charge us until we took delivery after we had closed. However our mortgage company didn’t agree. We were able to mitigate the problem with our mortgage company. We also had a hard time canceling some items we decided we didn’t want. We did pay cash for a couple items and we really like them which is the only reason I’m not giving them a 1 star rating. All said WE WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN.

Do not waste your money. In store we found the chair we wanted. Paid $999.99 and brought it home. Look online later that evening and the chair is listed at $699.99 ON THEIR WEBSITE. Called the store, but since we already brought it home there is nothing they can do. If we hadn’t brought it home and decided to pick it up later, they would have price matched. This is a classic we got your money, now you mean nothing to us. Terrible business practices at this place, 100% shop elsewhere. Edit: Ashley responded here to email them additional details. I emailed but not sure what additional details you are requesting. I had previously emailed wecare and was told there was nothing you can do. Update: Ashley corporate has made me whole and refunded the $300 difference. It was an obstical course to get here but glad to have a resolution. She confirmed that the stores should be matching internet prices and even checking them daily.

After purchasing an item over the phone, paying in full and signing paperwork, I was assured by the sales associate, Jennifer, that I could pick up my purchase the following day. Trusting her word, I made a long drive to the store (with people to help because they will not help you move anything) only to be told by the manager upon arrival that the item wouldn't be available for pickup for another 2-3 days. While I LOVE the piece of furniture I purchased, this lack of knowledge, communication, and transparency was EXTREMELY frustrating and inconvenient. It ruined my experience. Jennifer didn't even do the bare minimum of apologizing for her mistake! I was also not contacted when the item was ready, I had to call them.

I was politely asked what my interest in furnishings might be appointed in a direction of the bedroom furnishings that I wanted to look at as I ask questions. My visit to this Ashley store was super easy. I researched beforehand and came in with a specific sectional in mind. Jose A was great and very knowledgeable about the different characteristics of the sectional I wanted. He was also able to confirm the things I knew and answer any questions I had. From walking into the store, to signing the receipt for the sectional, the process only took about 30-minutes and delivery is scheduled to take place less than 7-days from today. This was the best experience we’ve ever had at an Ashley Furniture store, and we’ve visited many locations over the years when shopping for different pieces of furniture. Went to look at some couches and we wanted to buy 1. We decided to take advantage of 90 days no interest but the sales guy couldn't tell us anything about what the program is. When reading the contract there is a forced fee of protection $250, accepting delivery $52, and if paid off in 90 days $49 fee and must be approved by the company to be allowed to pay it off. The sales guy was telling us what we are about to sign is wrong and we are gonna pay no fees but the contract for a $1300 couch was going to be $2200. He then started to "try to teach" me about what credit is, how banks work, how money works, and couches are a hot subject at this time. He should be a financial advisor instead of selling a couch. Promotion? Anyways bought the same couch with home delivery for $1100 from us furniture direct.

I purchased a $2600 Sterns and Foster mattress on February 10, 2024 from Antone at Ashley on Capital Blvd. I was reluctant to make the purchase without additional price comparison; however, Antone said he would throw in $300 worth of Ashley Cash to spend on anything if I purchased the mattress on February 10th. I did not have time to browse for other products and I asked if I could come back to spend the $300 on additional items on a later date. He assured me that I could use it on a different date and it would be a credit on my account, so I purchased the mattress. Fast forward to January 12th when I tried to purchase a floor model sofa from Antone using the credit. I needed to find a third party to pick up the floor sample, which I did. I even paid for the third party delivery reservation. I called back Antone and he said he would take care of the floor model purchase over the phone, he would email the receipt and I could have my third party pick it up the following day. I kept contacting Antone and eventually I never heard back. I stopped by the store that evening and the salesperson there said I did not have a credit on my account and that Ashley cash had to be spent the same day. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I would receive a call on January 13th. I was never contacted by a manager and am sick of getting the run around. I have a receipt that says $300 Ashley Cash now that cannot be used plus I am out $135 for the delivery that did not happen. TLDR: Do not trust Antone or the management at this location. They do not stand behind their promises. They are only concerned about making a sale and are clearly not interested in serving the customer. Take your business to another Ashely or better yet a different store.

He was able to show us options, answer questions, and even showed us a fabric that would be great for our kids and dog. While the store/employees were great the quality of the furniture deserves 0 stars! I ordered an EXPENSIVE 4k sectional that I loved. In less than a year the the fabric is pilling and discolored from use. I did buy the “warranty” and they sent new covers, but same material that will look awful in a year. It’s a quality issue bc I have an Arhaus sofa that’s 5x as old for similar price and it looks brand new. Pictures shown are after using a fabric shaver as recommended by the company.

The store was very large with plenty of options. It was a bit overwhelming to see so much, however we had a support guide to help us. Jose should be recommended for his great customer service. He took my family and I through a tour of the store and gave us over 15 years of advice to a family from Boston. It was our first experience buying in North Carolina and we felt at home. I spoke with Jose during my lunch break. I walked in the store just to "look" at my options, but I had no intention to buy that day. Jose not only greeted me with a polite smile, it meant a lot to me as a young man with work (construction) clothes on he also remained professional during the just looking phase. He showed me options offered financing if I needed, what stood out to me the most is the interaction with the service plan. I told Jose that the only reason I would need it is for my dogs ripping up the couch and causing damage, instead of giving the generic "it covers all damage" like the last guy at a different store. I initially declined, but I changed my mind because I could appreciate honesty in a sales environment. Thank you Jose, I can't wait to pick up my couches.

Part of my couch was not delivered. I paid extra for delivery, cancelled a Dr appt and husband took off work to accommodate the ONLY day they could deliver! We called and said we would drive 3 hrs to pick it up bc we were free today and they said it cannot be picked up today!!!!!! I need this asap before company comes for Christmas! 😢

When we enteted the store, Raj helped us find the right peice to complete our room decor. He explained each chair with great detail, warranty, snd price. I would ask for him again and tell my friends and family to shop at this store (ask for Raj). Great customer service

Went to two (2) other stores with good ratings first. Both stores had a line of people waiting and basically no employees (other than one or maybe 2) at work. All the furniture was clearly for "Big and Tall" or just gigantically huge pieces. 12 foot couches, king size bed rooms, 8 seat dining rooms, and double wide motorized lift recliners all with absurdly high prices. UNACCEPTABLE. One dude even stopped me as I was leaving and said "we can get on the computer and look at what you might want". I told him "I can do that at home" and left for Ashley Furniture. Best idea I had all day. I was met at the door by Anton. Anton was knowledgeable, asked the right questions, and we buttoned up the deal in one visit. I got 3 pieces of furniture that fit for the price on one piece at the other 2 I saw earlier. It's Ashley for me, and I suggest you ask for Anton by name. Skip the no name / fly by night / deep discounters and the headaches. Go to Ashley Furniture... NOW! Anton hooked me up!

She asked what we were looking for and I knew I wanted a modular sectional. Shopping at Ashley's Home Store on Capital Boulevard yesterday was extremely pleasant experience. When I walked in I was immediately met by Ben, a sales associate. He asked what I was looking for and I told him. He immediately took me to the area where that particular product was and pointed out the ones that met my needs. I had plenty of questions and he had the answers ready. He explained the finances, the warranty, and the delivery details after I selected what I wanted. Ben was easy and fun to work with. We will definitely shop Ashley's for future furniture needs. Thank you, Ben. We had previously been to one of the Glenwood Avenue well known furniture stores. On both visits there, we were greeted by a sales associate who told us to wander around and if we found anything we were interested in, to bring them a phone picture of the sales brochure, and then they would help us with any purchase. As Chuck on Last man Standing would say, " Not Cool".

I started an online purchase but was not able to complete it. I called the number that was given to speak with a live customer service person. After I purchased two end tables Sunday, 11/17/24, I went home and pulled up Ashley furniture online and saw the same end tables were online for less. I feel like my sales associate was not an honest person. She first told me they were $375 when I questioned her regarding the sign on the table that stated they are. $249. She did sell them to me for $249. Then as previously stated they were even less online.
