My HFC was Amanda. I walked into an Ashley in a different state than I live in and was very upfront with her that I didn’t want to waste her time because I knew she couldn’t order me anything since she’s in a different region and would make no commission off her time spent with me. I asked her to just point me in the right direction of what I was looking for so I could do some preliminary shopping/research. She treated me like any other client she could have made commission from and took me around the entire showroom pointing out sectionals that met my criteria. She went above and beyond and printed out some layouts and dimensions for me. She was delightful! Someone go give her their business and buy a TON so I can feel less guilty about taking up her time 🤣

I went in the store to look for a sleeper sectional and a high top dinnete set. Amanda was AMAZING! She was very helpful and patiently answered all of my questions during my decison making, lol Miguel, the manager, was very helpful as well! If you are in need of furniture, I recommend asking for Amanda. You will not be disappointed!

The sales people were not pushy and let us freely roam around without pestering us. They would check in once in a while though. When we decided what we wanted to buy Patrick was so great to work with. We got more and paid less than we had originally planned for! We have had Ashley furniture in the past and it’s hard to beat them.

Very disappointing experience after spending over $4k in this store. While sales person was very attentive during the sale, rest of the process is a disaster. My recliner sectional was delivered on April 26, since it’s modular, one piece is lower than other parts, also different in size of fiber filling in seat cushions has- very uneven. the table did not even arrive yet. I should have returned it right away, my bad, but delivery people could not get Ashley support and calls kept dropping. Sales person reached out same day asking me to come in and select something else. I explained what happened and she went silent. Ashley support is not helpful and we are waiting on some specialist to evaluate. Store does not feel responsible so they moved on!

Hubert was so helpful throughout my shopping experience. Due to him listening to exactly what I was looking for. I was able to make my selection and purchase in less than an hour. Hubert showed me different available options but i never felt that he was being pushy or breathing over my shoulder.

Shopping for furniture has been very stressful in the past. But I would like to give a shout-out to Maryam, who is what I believe to be the best part of the Ashley HomeStore. She sat down with me and we drew our my new home, which got me super excited and made it easy for me to visualize the furniture in my new space. Amanda and Joe were very helpful in answering our questions and very patient as we searched throughout the store for a sectional sofa that would best suit our new home. Went in on a Sunday with my fiancé to look at bedroom sets. Maryam Butler greeted us right away when entering the store. Gave us the layout of the show room floor and offered complimentary waters. Was super helpful explaining the sets and made it a shift and easy transaction. Did an amazing job showing us the quality of the product and was very knowledgeable about the mattresses they had and their benefits. 10/10 will recommend to friends and family.

OMG! I had a wonderful experience working with Amanda to find the perfect bed and mattress! She was incredibly patient and took the time to understand my preferences ,always respecting my opinions. I never felt rushed, and her calming presence made the entire process so much more relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also thankful to the manager and the rest of the team for their support. A tear and a half later and I already need a new sofa. This is my 2nd one as it alreayd had been replaced once but the warranty goes back to the original date of sale. The techs have diagnosed the issue but it has never been fixed properly. Evidently that does not matter to Ashley. I will be buying a new sofa but not from Ashley as the squeaking just gets worse and worse. Stay away

I purchased bedroom furniture on 3/21 with delivery date of 4/5 between9 am and 12 pm. I received my 1st text at 7:30 am saying arriving early, 9:05 eta 30 min., 10:47 I asked for updated eta, response sorry should arrive shortly, 12:33 running behind should arrived shortly at 2:30 arrived bought in the head board and rails, said they don’t have legs for headboard and will take 2 to 3 hours to come back Call back at 7:39pm saying they don’t have the legs and reschedule. Meanwhile I leave out finding almost all of my furniture boxes laid up beside a multi family dwelling that I had no knowledge was even left. Picked the boxes up at 7:45 pm. Rescheduled for to have issue rectified today between 9-12 arrived at 1:00pm still no legs so I am still without my purchase. I’ve tried reaching out to CS they are very emphatic however no solution. They tried transferring me over to the Glenwood Raleigh location holding for a manager for over an half hour only for the call to disconnect. Tried reaching back out to CS there was no one available to take my call at this time. Prior to today I had gone over to the store and spoke with Joe and another of whom name I don’t remember, very nice very reassuring but still I have no resolution. I now have a mattress against my wall a desk because I must work, oh not to mention it cost me 2 days missed work. Very disappointing

I bought a new bed frame in the fall. The buying experience was wonderful as always but the quality of the product has gone down hill. It’s been 6 months and the part that supports the cross bars of the bed frame will not stay attached to the bars. They are not tall enough to reach the floor to begin with. I ended up buying new ones and drilling them in. While my living room bedroom and kitchen furniture are all from Ashley, I do not think I will buy the brand anymore.

I have had such a great experience thus far with Amanda helping assist me while I tried to find the right couch that checked all the boxes. She was patient and thorough. Very knowledgeable and listened to my needs.

NEVER EVER take their Diamond plus insurance plan, its a BIG SCAM, they will never cover for anything, NEVER ever. they denied two claims of mine, they were totally genuine claims

I had a great experience at Ashley. The furniture was nice and at a good price point. Going in I needed the advice and design sensibilities of an expert. I was lucky enough to find Raj Nagpal. He was very helpful, offered great advice and was very patient. I highly recommend Raj. I also want to recognize the great service provided by the two men who delivered and installed my furniture today. I wish I had written their names down.

Coming into Ashley, I had already looked at 4 other furniture stores and was about to give up. That is, until we saw the most beautiful table here! Hubert was our associate and was a wonderful influence in making the purchase. Not only was he attentive, but he also made sure we were comfortable with our purchase before we left. We went to the Ashley Home Store on Glenwood in Raleigh looking for a sofa. We found exactly what we were looking for and our sales associate Lindsay was a great help. We didn’t know about the tech now available in the new sofas. It seems very durable and has all the features we would enjoy such as lighting, phone chargers, USB, and hidden compartments. The recliners also have rechargeable batteries available if you don’t want to plug into the wall. It hasn’t been delivered yet, but we are looking forward to it.

Antoine and Joe were an absolute pleasure to work with! Courteous, flexible, low pressure, and thoughtful to name a few. Highly transparent, and eager to please. Highly recommend… you will not be disappointed! Ask for Joe!

Just moved from FL to NC and needed an entire set of everything. After going to 6 different stores in one day I ended up here. Raj went above and beyond to help me figured the style and taste that I wanted for my new place and was not pushy or overly “salesperson” while speaking. Clear, transparent, communication every step of the way with Raj highly recommended.

I had a very bad experience and will NEVER PURCHASE FROM Ashley in CARY, NORTH CAROLINA. The manager has a spirit of lying and deception. I heard him joke about what I was experiencing and he knew they weren’t going to address my problem. He didn’t realize I had come back into the store to ask a question. VERY IMPORTANT - the finance companies and ASHLEY STORE WORK TOGETHER. They know how much your being finance and they will negotiate based on the amount they know your approved. If able, pay cash! Very unethical business practices. The only thing I could do was give him a bible and pray for him and the evil business practices at that store branch. I purchased the Jorlaina Dinette set and the pedal stools were damaged on the first delivery. They sent replacements and the table was unsteady after assembly on the 2nd delivery. When I pressed down on either of the four edges the table shook terribly and was unsteady. A-significant amount of pressure on any of the four edges could tip the table over. I went to the store to double check and see if that occurred with the table in the store. The table was very steady in the store. They sent two people out who were unable to fix it. Attached are photos of the way the table has been left in my home. It has been over a 1 1/2 months and this is how the table has been left in my dinning room. “Ezra” was suppose to come 3/8/25 but called out sick. Hopefully 3/24? I was told they will not replace it. I may just hire a truck and place it in the front of the store in Cary, North Carolina. I can’t use it anyway. Money wasted!! There was a beautiful cream living room set for $3000 I was going to purchase but I will take my money somewhere else. I also reached out to abc11. VERY DISAPPOINTED COSTUMER

Greg Brooks got us a great deal on a bedroom set with short turnaround.

The salespeople at Ashley were professional and knowledgeable. They attended to us but didn't hard sell our follow us around like some other stores.

Went to Capital Blvd looking for a Leesworth recliner. They didn't have one and told me I could call around to all the stores to see if anyone had one. I called Glenwood Ave and spoke to Nasir Parker. He said they didn't have one but he checked local inventory and they had one at Ashley Outlet location. I went to Ashley Outlet saw it and wanted it. No one even approached or acknowledged me so I left Outlet and drove to location where Nasir was and purchased from him. Customer service is practically non existent in this day and time. Nasir could have just told me to call around like the others but he actually wanted to help me. I think he was surprised that I came back to purchase from him. I told him that he had provided excellent customer service and I wanted to make sure he got credit for going the extra mile.

I came into the store having an exact understanding of what i wanted. Patrick assisted me in the most excellent and professional way. I came on my lunch, and he had me all set with my order, getting approved, and delivery, in under 40 minutes. I even had to time to go to Walmart! Thanks again, Patrick! You rock!

Went there yesterday and bought new furniture for multiple rooms on their Presidents’ Day sale. The experience was very positive, fast and transparent. our salesperson was Haitham, he was knowledgeable about the different products and gave non-pushy advice on the different options and made the selection process easy. He also showed us on his laptop the layout of the furniture with their dimensions to the expected rooms (I had our rooms dimensions) and that made the decision making easy. Nice variety of options to select from and more on the modern/simplistic side.

Great experience shopping at Ashley Furniture! Went in with the intention of pursuing and left with a great set of bar stools and dresser for our daughter. Raj was a great HFC and was attentive while not hovering to allow us space and time to look around and assess but being close to answer questions. He thoroughly explained our color choices and quality options describing variations in designs and styles so that we were equipped with all necessary information to make informed decisions while not encouraging us toward any specific options. The deals were great as well and the interest-free financing, along with the discounts, made the decision easy. I have bought my past bedroom sets from Ashley and will continue to patronize them for their cost, quality, diversity of selection, and location/ease of access to stores! This store is currently under renovation so the floor was a bit bare and was missing a lot of models and sets on display so a more limited selection is viewable at this location currently (January 2025).

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ashley Furniture has proven to be an untrustworthy business that prioritizes sales over honesty and customer satisfaction. I was explicitly promised by the sales associate that my sofa set would be delivered on December 31st. I made it very clear that I needed the full set before New Year's, and she assured me it would arrive on time. However, only half of my order was delivered. At no point did they inform me that partial delivery was even a possibility. This is outright dishonesty and a blatant attempt to secure a sale at the expense of the customer. When I called to address the issue, I was met with dismissive and condescending responses. I was told I "should have read their delivery policy," which conveniently absolves them of any responsibility for product availability or truthful communication. Essentially, they can promise you the world to close a deal and then hide behind their policies when they fail to deliver. To make matters worse, they refuse to accept a return because half the order was delivered. What am I supposed to do with half a sofa set? This kind of behavior is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. If you’re considering buying from Ashley Furniture, take my advice: get everything in writing. Their word means absolutely nothing. I will never purchase anything from this company again. They have lost my trust and my business. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. There are plenty of furniture stores out there that actually value their customers. Ashley Furniture is not one of them.

My wife andI went in this past Saturday, and Cory C Quickly came up and greeted us. Because it’s a large store, he gave us a general layout of “living rooms and bedrooms over here, mattresses [back there], etc.” He Ask if we had any questions or specific needs, answered those promptly, and then left us to shop. But he didn’t just leave us alone. Almost like a good weight staff would, he would periodically check over and make eye contact or ask if we were OK When we found a couple of bulky home decor bargains we wanted, he took those off our hands and held them for us so we could continue shopping in comfort. In general, though much of the store is dedicated to furniture for the masses and some items are downright… beyond Eclectic, it was a good experience and I would definitely go back. And when I do, I’ll look up Cory!

STAY AWAY...If you got 2 months to wait on furniture then here's the place. However if you want furniture to come in a normal delivery speed run. I placed an order waited all day for delivery to find out it was pushed back 2 more weeks! Called and was promised a delivery date sooner, next morning I was told that was a lie. I will NEVER shop at Ashley's Furniture again! The lack of communication, and common courtesy is appaling.

Don’t get suckered into the warranty. Our guy told us that we could opt into the warranty for normal wear and tear on our couch. Paid an extra $500. I’m sure he hit a bonus or something. Just tried to use our warranty after the threads are ripping out of the side of our cushions and claim was denied. Looking into other reviews, this seems like common practice. Warranty is a total scam.

My wife and I were met with a humble and friendly greeting from Hubert. He was kind, informative and has people skills beyond the expectation you generally have in this day and age. With his ability to answer questions and give us enough space to look around while knowing when to pop in and check on us I was at peace feeling the reassurance of our decision to try one more furniture store. Previously we had been to Rooms to Go and Carolina furniture. My wife and I were about done with it all until we decided to try Ashley furniture store. Maybe this place is different? Sure enough Hubert gave us hope to continue. While Ashley furniture store is not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive, we found that it fell somewhere in between and that's where we found the best over all value. Not only in their prices but also in their character and work ethic. There were questions that we had that other employees couldn't seem to answer but they always knew which guy to ask and here comes Hubert to the rescue with answers to any questions we had. He informed us on their base that they used on most of their sectionals even gave us an illustration to how much weight they can hold and reassured us of the longevity of the furniture. Me being a big guy my self appreciated that. When we finally made the decision to pull the trigger we were relieved that it was at such an amazing store with amazing staff. He even got us an extension on our financing due to the size of the order we had. After all was said and done we went home and realized that maybe in our excitement we purchased one or two too many pieces of the sectional that we liked so much. So with our itemized receipt that Hubert emailed to me I began to double check the dimensions. Sure enough I order 2 pieces too many. But, no problem because Hubert was able to fix this issue over the phone and was promtp to return my call the next day! Thank you, Ashley Furniture Store and Hurbert for all your help. You were a shining light in a dim situation. If you need help with your purchases you can count on Hubert!

TLDR: I have nothing against this particular Ashley store, but the delivery is sloppy and the corporate customer service SUCKS! As seen in the photos I received a broken sofa chaise because it was thrown in the truck and not tied down and the legs were over tightened. Since I had signed for it (I acknowledge this was on me), they sent replacement parts for a repairman to come fix it but the parts took a month to come. Since it took a while I convinced them to send me an exchange sofa chaise. When the second one arrives, it’s even worse than the first! Also not tied down in the truck. I didn’t sign for this one and they took it back. It took a lot of convincing to corporate to give me a full refund because they wanted to send me a THIRD couch. They weren’t even going to give me a delivery refund until I said I was going to file what would be a third complaint at this point with BBB. Awful! The whole process took two months. At the end of the day I got a full refund but I am never giving Ashley my business again.

Service in store was great! A little pushy but we were able to find a great deal. Only issue was that since it was a floor model we had to use a third party delivery service that they told us they trusted. We were promised that our furniture would come wrapped and that the company was great. After contacting the company, we were told it would arrive the following evening. The communication with this company was terrible and they didn’t show up until 10:30 at night. My furniture was not wrapped, they were complaining about the bugs around the lights of the house (it’s 10:30 at night, of course they’re going to be bugs when the porch light is on??) They refused to bring the furniture into the house as there was a spider in the corner of the porch. Very unprofessional company for Ashley Furniture to be recommending.

We purchased 2 nightstands, a throw and 2 bedroom lamps. Raj was very pushy in trying to sell us the extra warranty. It’s something we don't want or need and after saying no 3 times he was almost whispering to my husband, up close and personal how important it was we got the warranty. When my husband started to feel really frustrated and gave him a very firm no, the salesman backed down. Our nightstands showed up with damage. I called it in, after 2,5 weeks a repair man could come in to fix it. Then our bedroom lamps were delayed by 2 weeks so we cancelled that order. Magically one day after cancelling that order and paying a fine to do so, we got called that the repair on the furniture was bumped because they placed 60 people in front of us. That’s Ashley’s service for you. Oh and the throw I bought, can’t wash or dry clean it, ever!

Horrible Experience - Avoid Ashley Furniture on Glenwood Avenue I had an awful experience with Ashley Furniture on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. I purchased a bedroom set, and upon delivery, everything seemed fine. However, I soon discovered that one of the drawers in the nightstand didn’t work properly – something that wasn’t immediately noticeable at the time of delivery. When I tried to contact customer service to have the issue fixed or the nightstand replaced, it turned into a nightmare. I was met with unhelpful representatives and endless delays. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn’t get a resolution. To make matters worse, the salesperson who helped me, Cory Castille, completely ignored my phone calls and messages. The lack of response was incredibly frustrating. If you’re considering buying furniture from Ashley, don’t. Their customer service is terrible, and they don’t seem to care once they’ve made the sale. I regret my purchase and would advise others to shop elsewhere.

Worked with Lindsay and couldn't be happier with the service and her knowledge. She explained pricing and features of what we were looking for and left us alone to browse. Got us a great deal on couch and bed frame. Great experience all round.
