My wife and I were met with a humble and friendly greeting from Hubert. He was kind, informative and has people skills beyond the expectation you generally have in this day and age. With his ability to answer questions and give us enough space to look around while knowing when to pop in and check on us I was at peace feeling the reassurance of our decision to try one more furniture store. Previously we had been to Rooms to Go and Carolina furniture. My wife and I were about done with it all until we decided to try Ashley furniture store. Maybe this place is different? Sure enough Hubert gave us hope to continue. While Ashley furniture store is not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive, we found that it fell somewhere in between and that's where we found the best over all value. Not only in their prices but also in their character and work ethic. There were questions that we had that other employees couldn't seem to answer but they always knew which guy to ask and here comes Hubert to the rescue with answers to any questions we had. He informed us on their base that they used on most of their sectionals even gave us an illustration to how much weight they can hold and reassured us of the longevity of the furniture. Me being a big guy my self appreciated that. When we finally made the decision to pull the trigger we were relieved that it was at such an amazing store with amazing staff. He even got us an extension on our financing due to the size of the order we had. After all was said and done we went home and realized that maybe in our excitement we purchased one or two too many pieces of the sectional that we liked so much. So with our itemized receipt that Hubert emailed to me I began to double check the dimensions. Sure enough I order 2 pieces too many. But, no problem because Hubert was able to fix this issue over the phone and was promtp to return my call the next day! Thank you, Ashley Furniture Store and Hurbert for all your help. You were a shining light in a dim situation. If you need help with your purchases you can count on Hubert!

DO NOT BUY THEIR PROTECTION PLAN. They call it Diamond Care Plus. They will deny EVERY claim. The sales person will act like it covers any stain. It won't. They'll just deny it. This is fraud. I'll be contacting them for my money back for this useless warranty and reporting them to the BBB as well.

TLDR: I have nothing against this particular Ashley store, but the delivery is sloppy and the corporate customer service SUCKS! As seen in the photos I received a broken sofa chaise because it was thrown in the truck and not tied down and the legs were over tightened. Since I had signed for it (I acknowledge this was on me), they sent replacement parts for a repairman to come fix it but the parts took a month to come. Since it took a while I convinced them to send me an exchange sofa chaise. When the second one arrives, it’s even worse than the first! Also not tied down in the truck. I didn’t sign for this one and they took it back. It took a lot of convincing to corporate to give me a full refund because they wanted to send me a THIRD couch. They weren’t even going to give me a delivery refund until I said I was going to file what would be a third complaint at this point with BBB. Awful! The whole process took two months. At the end of the day I got a full refund but I am never giving Ashley my business again.

I came in just to take a look around, but Leann was AMAZING! Her customer service was great, she was very knowledgeable, and helped me find exactly what I needed. If you plan on stopping by definitely ask for her!

Service in store was great! A little pushy but we were able to find a great deal. Only issue was that since it was a floor model we had to use a third party delivery service that they told us they trusted. We were promised that our furniture would come wrapped and that the company was great. After contacting the company, we were told it would arrive the following evening. The communication with this company was terrible and they didn’t show up until 10:30 at night. My furniture was not wrapped, they were complaining about the bugs around the lights of the house (it’s 10:30 at night, of course they’re going to be bugs when the porch light is on??) They refused to bring the furniture into the house as there was a spider in the corner of the porch. Very unprofessional company for Ashley Furniture to be recommending.

We purchased 2 nightstands, a throw and 2 bedroom lamps. Raj was very pushy in trying to sell us the extra warranty. It’s something we don't want or need and after saying no 3 times he was almost whispering to my husband, up close and personal how important it was we got the warranty. When my husband started to feel really frustrated and gave him a very firm no, the salesman backed down. Our nightstands showed up with damage. I called it in, after 2,5 weeks a repair man could come in to fix it. Then our bedroom lamps were delayed by 2 weeks so we cancelled that order. Magically one day after cancelling that order and paying a fine to do so, we got called that the repair on the furniture was bumped because they placed 60 people in front of us. That’s Ashley’s service for you. Oh and the throw I bought, can’t wash or dry clean it, ever!

Horrible Experience - Avoid Ashley Furniture on Glenwood Avenue I had an awful experience with Ashley Furniture on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. I purchased a bedroom set, and upon delivery, everything seemed fine. However, I soon discovered that one of the drawers in the nightstand didn’t work properly – something that wasn’t immediately noticeable at the time of delivery. When I tried to contact customer service to have the issue fixed or the nightstand replaced, it turned into a nightmare. I was met with unhelpful representatives and endless delays. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn’t get a resolution. To make matters worse, the salesperson who helped me, Cory Castille, completely ignored my phone calls and messages. The lack of response was incredibly frustrating. If you’re considering buying furniture from Ashley, don’t. Their customer service is terrible, and they don’t seem to care once they’ve made the sale. I regret my purchase and would advise others to shop elsewhere.

We had an excellent experience with this store! After going to multiple different furniture stores in one day, Ashley furniture on Glenwood was by far the best and most relaxing experience! The staff was helpful but not aggressive in following us throughout our shopping experience, they even offered us bottled water after we had been in the store for a while looking around! We were helped by both Hubert P. and Joe P. who were both very knowledgeable and great to work with! They gave us clear information, assisted us with quotes on different options, and even helped us move around the configuration on a specific couch to ensure it fit our needs. I've been a loyal customer, spending over $30,000 in recent years, including a significant $16,000 just last month. I recently received a furniture set that was blatantly misrepresented - it's gray, not the advertised white. Despite my profession as a designer and extensive experience with furniture companies, Ashley refuses to acknowledge the discrepancy or accept a return, claiming colors may vary. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and refusal to stand behind their product is shocking. I'm appalled by their lack of accountability and urge others to consider this experience before making a purchase."

We had a bad experience at the Ashley Furniture on Capital Blvd but this store went above and beyond to rectify the miscommunication of the other store to make sure that we were happy customers. Hubert Patrick was incredibly friendly, helpful and very easy to work with. He made sure that we got everything we needed and made the check out process easy.

We purchased a patio set from Faith at the store on Glenwood Ave. She did a good job helping us find the patio set that would work for our home. We were guaranteed that our items were available and would be delivered all on the same day. On the delivery day we only received one piece of the order and there wasn’t an estimate for when we would receive the rest of our order. Later we received an email that we wouldn’t get the rest of the order until 1 week and a half later. When the rest of the order arrived, it came in boxes and we were told we would have to put the items together. We paid for the delivery and assembly option, the first piece came put together but the rest of the order was not. It was an entire mess and my husband and I regretted ever ordering the furniture from Ashley. Their furniture is beautiful but there is a major disconnect between the store, customer service and dispatch.

Thank you to Raj for helping us purchase our bedroom set (bed frame, 2 side dresser, and a dresser). Will be back!

Had a horrible buying experience with this Ashley store (and in general with their corporate office). We were charged 400$ more for our dining table set and the receipt had wrong chairs on it. We then had to call them at least 3 times to get the right order and correct amount. They said we will get the refund in 10 days but never got it. Called them again in 15 days and they said refund never got started so now it will take 10 more days. Have called them 2 more times since then and nothing. Here we are 2 months later and still havent gotten our 400$ refund!! Speaking of the actual furniture we bought, two of the chairs are defective. One had one leg shorter than the other so its wobbly and the other has one leg completely coming off. We have bought furniture before from so many other places and never faced these money or quality issue. Have been calling them to come out and fix the chairs but they keep saying they are “too busy and to call them next month”?! Please dont waste your money with these people.

We met with Cory and Sam for our bedroom sets.They helped us to found the best sets with best prices. They both were so patient and explaining things.

I have been a customer of Ashley Furniture for over 14 years and I have never experienced such poor service. The delivery of my furniture went smoothly, however I noticed some dirt marks throughout the furniture. When talking to customer service they wanted to send me a bulk of material so someone could come and re- upholster my brand new couch. That seemed a bit much as it only needed to be cleaned. So I accepted a 15% discount to pay for my own cleaning. Upon further inspection I noticed a small tear at the corner of the loveseat and I called back (same-day) and wanted them to just send out a new loveseat. They refused and they further refused to provide me any information so I could contact someone higher up in corporate. Additionally the attached photos are pictures of how dirty the water was from having the sofa cleaned (same day)So my brand new sofa came with more dirt then I what I had initially seen. It was not the delivery team because the furniture was thoroughly wrapped in plastic and other covering. Ashly Furniture has just lost a loyal customer for refusing to rectify the situation. I spent over $2200 for my new furniture and this is their response. I will never shop with Ashley’s Furniture again. UPDATE!! Thank you Ashley Furniture for reaching out and making things right. I appreciate your following up on my review to correct the things that went wrong. My new living room furniture looks amazing.

REVISED: Unfortunately my positive initial experience went on a downward spiral. I can't get an itemized bill despite several messages and phone calls. The furniture was damaged by the delivery company along with my home. They sent a replacement and the furniture was still faulty and they damaged my home again. Delivery company made me accept the furniture and would not let me send it back. NO RETURN POLICY! DO NOT SIGN FOR DELIVERY UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE FURNITURE BECAUSE ASHLEY WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE IT BACK. Just a warning to save the next person Ashley's will try to con. Guess they are trying to make up for all their lawsuits. First set of delivery men actually argued with each other in front of my family. I am extremely stressed and stuck with faulty damaged furniture. People don't have time to do multiple exchanges and deal with repair men. The initial order should be right the first time! See attached photos. I will leave my initial review so you can see how happy I was to receive my new items. I will no longer be a returning customer and will be closing my account. INITAL: Leann is absolutely amazing! I worked with her on two visits and she was kind, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. She gave me room to shop, but was close enough to answer questions when needed. I despise being pressured and hounded while shopping so I appreciated her style and felt comfortable while shopping. I also communicated with her via text and she got back to me immediately and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this location and to work with Leann. I didn't catch the others names, but I also had great conversations with other staff there and loved the friendliness all around. I will definitely be a returning customer!

I bought a whole bedroom set. The box spring was added at the checkout time. They never told me about the size of it and when i receive it i just realized that it was too high. I tried to return it or exchange it and they didn't accept that.. Now i can’t use my bed untill i buy another box spring and i will have to sell the one that i got by myself.

Called back to find out what the ETA was only to hear that the majority of our order was ready to deliver but only 1 item was missing. Asked why the remainder of order was not delivered and was given a new date 2 weeks later as the earliest they could bring it!! Unacceptable! So much for being a “VIP” with Ashley. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the customer service of the delivery process. Original- Great experience, fast purchasing. Patrick was friendly, very knowledgeable, and gave us space to browse on our own.

Decided to give Ashley another chance after dealing with them 6 years ago total nightmare. Started off good salesman was good. However delivery gets cancelled. Called like I was asked told I can’t reschedule until after 2 the next day. Talked to a supervisor about this because we literally removed all our beds because they were going to be replaced. Promised a phone call back by the end of the day. Never got a return call. When I called back the new person had no clue what I was talking about. Ashley supervisors just blow smoke and say whatever it takes to get you off the phone. So now we’ll be sleeping in the floor until they decide to deliver our order that I paid 8000$ dollars for. If I could go back I would just avoid Ashley like I intended to. But I will not make the same mistake again.
