While I am pleased with the mattress and the wonderful service at Ashley, I however I am very upset with the people that delivered the new mattress. They refused to remove both the old mattress and box spring as we were promised. They informed my daughter that they did not know how to remove the box spring. This is unacceptable and my daughter had to remove it herself and find some place to recycle it. I am very upset and disappointed.

Joe was not pushy. Waited and then was helpful. Super quick.

Leann was very helpful and knowledgeable. She asked about my preferences and we found a couch within 20 minutes that will be delivered in three days! Extremely easy and pleasant experience would highly recommend Ashley furniture on Glenwood Avenue.

We started looking at a new bedroom set back on Labor Day, and Leann was very helpful with out being pushy at all. However, we could not get back in to purchase the set until last week. When we came back, we couldn't find Leann, so Larry jumped in to help us. Leann came in a little while later and actually rembered us and all of our specific needs. Leann and Larry worked together seamlessly and professionally, to help us furnish our house. We highly recommend searching for these two at the Glenwood store, if you are in need of furniture. They made it a pleasant experience and we really appreciate that. Thanks Leann and Larry!

Ask for Gregory! He assisted us over two days, quoted us multiple items and configurations we were interested in, and was never pushy. He didn't try to sell us on anything he just tried to meet our stated needs and answer questions we had. Gregory was also upfront on what discounts could be available to us per product and was a pleasure to negotiate with. We look forward to our white glove delivery of our new sofa!

I had the pleasure of working with Nasir (Nas)and he was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. From the moment I walked in the door, he greeted me with a smile and walked me right to the collection I had in mind. We sat down to go over other collections and colors, and he helped me determine which collection was best for me. Fast forward past the weekend of my purchase, I decided I wanted to change the color I originally selected. I called the store and Nas was able to get my order changed with a delivery date just a few days shy of the original date. Nas customer service is TOP TIER!! This is one of the best furniture purchases I’ve made in quite a while and I couldn’t be happier. I’m looking forward to my delivery and ‘future’ purchases from Ashley Store on Glenwood Ave. I highly recommend choosing this location and ask for Nas.

This establishment places false advertisement on sales and it's false. The prices on furniture are the same and no.changes are made. They put up a sign of Veterans Sale and it's false, they don't even honor Military Veterans and refuse to give them a discount price. Not a reasonable company. Do not spend your money on them. There are better furniture establishments.

Had a fantastic shopping experience with Maryam this week. I was on the fence about which color sectional to get and she was very patient and kind as I worked through it. The worker was more concerned about making a sale that he was not upfront about information regarding the purchase and the hard hit on my credit. It messed up my credit severely and then had the audacity to call me later to ask if I wanted to purchase anything else. Also the "sale" he was offering was a higher price than what I would have spent if I bought the furniture online. SCAMMERS!

Came in late on a weeknight knowing exactly what we wanted and Joe was super helpful and easy going, ready to follow our lead. We were in and out with our sectional purchase in about an hour. If we purchase again we’ll absolutely be asking for Joe.

We are moving into a new house, and there were several pieces of furniture that we needed to buy. I was overwhelmed by it all. I went to Ashley and was greeted by Gregory Brooks. He had a balance of giving me space to shop and think, and being available for assistance. I left Ashley to shop at other stores, but ended up back in the store because they have everything I could need at the best prices. Gregory worked with me again to find furniture that matched my style and was within my price range. He continues to work with me post-sale as I change my mind and make adaptations. I am so incredibly thankful for Gregory's commitment to my experience.

They said they were matching a price and the next day I got a call and said they could not do it. Turns out the maker of the mattress offered free shipping and put together and take away all the old mattress and platform. Ashley Furniture wanted to charge 300.00 for delivery and I would have had to pay someone else to haul away the old one for 200.00. Don't buy a mattress from them

We went to Ashley Homestore today to look at a sectional sofa that we saw online. They didn’t have the exact sofa in store but our sales person, Larry Boyd, was so helpful that we ended up buying the sofa anyway. We sat on a similar sectional that we were pretty sure would be about the same as far as comfort and Larry showed us a sofa with similar fabric. He worked some magic for us and I felt confident that we’d be happy with our purchase. I’ve purchased a lot from Ashley over the years for work and for my home and love their stuff and will definitely work with Larry again next time I come in to the store.

The manager on duty that day was joe parker. He was understanding, apologetic, and came up with a plan for repairs or replacement. I spent a week looking for a couch across multiple furniture stores, including other Ashley stores. I met Nasir at the store, and I knew two minutes in I was going to have a great experience. Not only did he listen to what I was looking for but when measurements wouldn’t work for my space, he had great alternatives based off what I was looking for. I went to Ashley in search for a new couch. Sales Consultant Larry Boyd was professional, very helpful and extremely patient during the process. Explained everything from the beginning of my search all the way to me signing the deal on my new couch.

Ask for Wesley. He was attentive but not overly so. As we perused the store, he checked in regularly, but without being pushy. Once we made a decision, he worked with patience and diligence to get a great deal on a sofa for us, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with him.

Nas was a great help to us, he was very knowledgeable about the product, showed us the details of the products and helped us find our perfect piece. From the minute we stepped through the door, Leann was nothing short of amazing! We were just browsing and potentially thinking of a new sectional for our loft and a dining room table. Even after mentioning that we couldn’t purchase that day due to closing on a home- Leann spent hours with us going over different sectional variations, pricing, and financing options. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!! And DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY FROM DIAMOND CARE!!! We are seniors and we paid almost $5,009 for a poorly made couch. We were also talked into paying $649.99 for the Diamond Care protection plan. Our couch is NOT EVEN two years old and it ripped. Ashley DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!! Diamond Care refuses to fix it. They said it’s not covered because it ripped on the seam!!! Most reputable furniture companies would fix it but ASHLEY does not value their customers!!

I would like to give a shout out to both Patrick and Joseph at Ashley furniture Raleigh for excellent customer service and knowledge of products. They went the extra mile. I would highly recommend them both.

My wife and I came in after going once before to decide on two different couches. Was helped by Amanda who talked us into a different couch and loveseat. When the couch delivered it was already and hour past the delivery window and the guys were in a hurry to leave and had my wife sign for the couch immediately before she had a chance to look at the couch and the room set up. The couch is too large for our space and it does not look good. After calling Amanda to voice our displeasure we were informed they do not do refunds or returns but she would ask her manager to reconsider. 3 days later we had to call her back to be told that there is nothing that she can do after knowing on the first day and not telling us then. Has been a horrible experience from Ashley and will not be shopping here again.

To start : Assisted by Randall and Nasir Parker, who were 5/5! Great help, courteous, and patient. The DASH service people as well, who came and setup the furniture for us, were kind, helpful, and fast. 5/5 Why 3 stars : Though we received great service from the people we interacted with, Ashley return policy caused an issue. From 1 Ashley store, we purchased a bedframe, and from another Ashley store 3 days later, we purchased a box spring. There was no indication in the display or purchase details of the bed frame that a box spring pallette was already built into the bed frame. We only realized this once we setup our bed frame. So we still have the box spring within the original packaging itself, didn't even remove the tape off it. However, Ashley does not allow us to return it. It is now just a product purchased that is not even used, not even unopened, that is wasted both in use and money. Not sure why they have this policy when it is unreasonable in certain edge cases.

Sales person was good. Sofa looked good for about a month, they replaced the seat cushions a few times, that did not fix the problem. I asked to exchange the item with something else and they would not allow it. Had to give it away and purchase its replacement at a competitor. Very poor customer service, I will never go back.

Purchased a bedroom set on 6/8/25 with an estimated delivery date of 7/8/25. My order has been delayed multiple times with my estimated delivery date as of 8/1/25 now being 8/20/25. Let’s hope this updated delivery date can be adhered to. Everyone at the home store and distribution center has been pleasant to speak with and understanding of my frustrations, however, this experience has been less than ideal. I moved into my new home on 6/2/25 thinking that I could enjoy my new bedroom set pretty soon after. That’s not been the case. Ashely Furniture has certainly let me down.

We had a phenomenal experience shopping at Ashley Furniture We had just gone to browse and had no idea what we really wanted. Amanda helped us find a great electric reclining loveseat. We had not planned on purchasing one but her suggestions helped us make up our mind. She went the extra mile. Held different colored pillows against the loveseat to help visualize the fit in our home. Amanda was extremely knowledgeable about materials and helped us choose a genuine top grain leather furniture. She helped with delivery and additional warranty as well. We love our new loveseat thanks to Amanda's great salesmanship. Will revisit soon.

When we first got there we thought it was going to be like any other store with a salesman where they follow you around and try to push the most expensive items in the store but we were wrong. Not only was Hubert extremely friendly but he also listened to all of our wants and needs and helped us find the perfect items for our new house. On Sunday I was helped by Mr. Nasir Parker and he was extremely helpful, not the typical pushy salesperson. He was able to provide exactly when I was looking for. I let him know I needed a couple of days to visit a competitor and double check my measurements and he was amenable. When I made my decision and called to place my order he was again very forthcoming and knowledgeable. If I could give Nasir more than 5 stars I would! I will recommend Ashley Furniture and Nasir to my friends or family!

We met with Patrick in your Raleigh store (Glenwood Ave) on Friday, and he was extremely helpful. He introduced himself, and made himself available whenever we had any questions. That's why we came back on Saturday and ordered a bedroom suite. He even went so far as to "match" a competitors price, which confirmed in our hearts that we wanted to purchase the furniture at Ashley. So with the matching of pricing, we decided to also purchase the mattress and box spring there. All in all, it was a good day.

This is about Joe Parker and Ashley home furnishings, but give me a sec to set the stage. My wife and I were looking for a couch, preferably a sectional. We had been to the place next door on Glenwood, because it had a “going out of business sale” sign on it. We are always on a budget and not the kind the people on those home remodel shows have “ I’m a dog walker and my husband picks his nose for a living, and our budget is 2.1 million”. The place next door wanted well over 2k for a couch and the ottoman was 600 dollars on top of that. They didn’t feel great, and frankly the people were smarmy. They kept following us around, being close, but not making eye contact, it was creepy. We volleyed back and forth on pricing, and he kept going back to his boss after. I felt like I was buying a car, in the worst way. What told me to leave was when he said X price but you have to take it today. Sorry, pressure sales don’t work on me. Plenty of furniture in the world. We saw Ashley home furnishings next door so we headed that way. We were met by a gent who was a regional sales manager, and he had a practiced spiel, and a tweed jacket, and tried to make an easy connection. Classic tactics. We told them we would walk the showroom a bit and they could come find us. We walked around a bit and were approached by Joe Parker. He had an easy manner and didn’t push us on things. He knew the lines of furnishings well. He knew the fill on the cushions and the materials inside and out. He honestly pro conned things about cost, materials, wear and tear etc. He walked the showroom with us talking things out. He gave us the out the door price without any kind of games or pressure tactics at all. I appreciated that very much. He answered each and every one of my questions, with little to no lag time. He gave us measurements and designs (sectionals) for over an hour, often off the top of his head. Patiently discussing things with us. Again, no rush, no push, no feeling of you have to buy it today or you lose out. He didn’t try to make us buy the most expensive things in the store. This is a true salesman. He knows his product and reads the room. It was late in his day and he said his goodbyes after printing out informational packets for us, and making sure we had what we needed. We walked a bit more and suddenly found a floor model set that was at what I felt was a good price. I texted Joe and he came back into the store. We ended up with a 3 piece set, for less than a couch at most places. The steep discount meant his commission is less, but he didn’t bat an eye. Let’s be clear, this is not the kind of furniture most of us grew up with back in the day. It’s not hardwood, it’s particle board covered with fabric and stuffed. It’s not going to be passed down for generations. It appears to be quite comfortable. It will last 5-7 years I would say. Also, for the record, I wouldn’t buy a dresser or any other stand alone “wood” furniture from a place like this. You can go to an antique shop and do better, with something that has hard wood, not pressed wood chips and glue. Nothing has a solid wood back on it, but they cost what a nicer piece would cost back in the day. That said, we had an excellent experience with Joe Parker. He was kind, relaxed and highly knowledgeable about his whole line of furnishings. That’s more than commendable in a warehouse sized showroom. I didn’t feel like I was at Best Buy talking to a 12 year old, who, when asked a question about their product, reads you what’s on the label. Joe is a professional, and honestly so was everyone else in the store we interacted with. I felt a sense of relaxation and genuine kindness from folks. The GM, Cash, also came by to help us at the end. The paperwork was easy to fill out. No hidden BS that I could find. I miss this kind of experience; where people work for your business. I would highly recommend Joe Parker. He worked for and won our business. Thanks Joe!

Joe was great! I walked in with a very specific sofa style in mind and he was able to tell me exactly what he thought and it was perfect! While it wasn’t in stock at their location, Nas helped me find a store in the area that did and I was able to get the couch I wanted. An amazing customer service experience through and through!

I walked into an Ashley in a different state than I live in and was very upfront with her that I didn’t want to waste her time because I knew she couldn’t order me anything since she’s in a different region and would make no commission off her time spent with me. I asked her to just point me in the right direction of what I was looking for so I could do some preliminary shopping/research. She treated me like any other client she could have made commission from and took me around the entire showroom pointing out sectionals that met my criteria. She went above and beyond and printed out some layouts and dimensions for me. She was delightful! Someone go give her their business and buy a TON so I can feel less guilty about taking up her time 🤣

Joe wasn’t in yet when we arrived and Larry took great care of me and my son. We ended up buying a mattress, too! And got to meet Joe!

I went in the store to look for a sleeper sectional and a high top dinnete set. Amanda was AMAZING! She was very helpful and patiently answered all of my questions during my decison making, lol Miguel, the manager, was very helpful as well! If you are in need of furniture, I recommend asking for Amanda. You will not be disappointed!

The sales people were not pushy and let us freely roam around without pestering us. They would check in once in a while though. When we decided what we wanted to buy Patrick was so great to work with. We got more and paid less than we had originally planned for! We have had Ashley furniture in the past and it’s hard to beat them.

Very disappointing experience after spending over $4k in this store. While sales person was very attentive during the sale, rest of the process is a disaster. My recliner sectional was delivered on April 26, since it’s modular, one piece is lower than other parts, also different in size of fiber filling in seat cushions has- very uneven. the table did not even arrive yet. I should have returned it right away, my bad, but delivery people could not get Ashley support and calls kept dropping. Sales person reached out same day asking me to come in and select something else. I explained what happened and she went silent. Ashley support is not helpful and we are waiting on some specialist to evaluate. Store does not feel responsible so they moved on! June 2, 2025 Update. Specialist visited and fully agreed with my assessment. Explained that it may take 3 working hours to correct amount of fiber in cushions and agreed that edge is not fitting and gaps are not closed because cushions are not covering the space between connecting pieces or Ashley will decide to replace. Today I chatted with customer care and they just sent me an apology that everything is up to standards and nothing Ashley can do about! Waiting on call for 40 min to speak with someone. I still have a warranty on a brand new product.

Hubert was so helpful throughout my shopping experience. Due to him listening to exactly what I was looking for. I was able to make my selection and purchase in less than an hour. Hubert showed me different available options but i never felt that he was being pushy or breathing over my shoulder.

Went in on a Sunday with my fiancé to look at bedroom sets. Maryam Butler greeted us right away when entering the store. Gave us the layout of the show room floor and offered complimentary waters. Was super helpful explaining the sets and made it a shift and easy transaction. OMG! I had a wonderful experience working with Amanda to find the perfect bed and mattress! She was incredibly patient and took the time to understand my preferences ,always respecting my opinions. I never felt rushed, and her calming presence made the entire process so much more relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also thankful to the manager and the rest of the team for their support. I'm genuinely grateful for all their help in making sure I made the right choice. I highly recommend this awesome team!

A tear and a half later and I already need a new sofa. This is my 2nd one as it alreayd had been replaced once but the warranty goes back to the original date of sale. The techs have diagnosed the issue but it has never been fixed properly. Evidently that does not matter to Ashley. I will be buying a new sofa but not from Ashley as the squeaking just gets worse and worse. Stay away

We were immediately greeted and shown samples of what we desired. Our salesperson (Haitham) stayed with us as we shopped and explained features and benefits. We purchased a chair which met our needs.

I purchased bedroom furniture on 3/21 with delivery date of 4/5 between9 am and 12 pm. I received my 1st text at 7:30 am saying arriving early, 9:05 eta 30 min., 10:47 I asked for updated eta, response sorry should arrive shortly, 12:33 running behind should arrived shortly at 2:30 arrived bought in the head board and rails, said they don’t have legs for headboard and will take 2 to 3 hours to come back Call back at 7:39pm saying they don’t have the legs and reschedule. Meanwhile I leave out finding almost all of my furniture boxes laid up beside a multi family dwelling that I had no knowledge was even left. Picked the boxes up at 7:45 pm. Rescheduled for to have issue rectified today between 9-12 arrived at 1:00pm still no legs so I am still without my purchase. I’ve tried reaching out to CS they are very emphatic however no solution. They tried transferring me over to the Glenwood Raleigh location holding for a manager for over an half hour only for the call to disconnect. Tried reaching back out to CS there was no one available to take my call at this time. Prior to today I had gone over to the store and spoke with Joe and another of whom name I don’t remember, very nice very reassuring but still I have no resolution. I now have a mattress against my wall a desk because I must work, oh not to mention it cost me 2 days missed work. Very disappointing
