I came into the store and was greeted warmly by Amanda. She was very personable, professional and informative. She gave me the freedom to walk around until I decided on what I wanted. Amanda was available to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction and she offered her opinion when requested. Because of her I was able to decide on a few items for my home and purchased them. I would come back and ask for Amanda's assistance.

We went looking for chairs - Antone greeted us as we entered- he was extremely helpful! We were going to visit a few stores but honestly, we did find what would work really well at Ashley’s. He was very informed and knew the stock. Great shopping experience!

Another great experience with Ashley, we bought a couch that was delivered today. Delivery was easy and the in store shopping experience was made easy thanks to Raj Nagpal. Will definitely be back again!

I had a really great experience shopping for furniture with Patrick. He really listened to what I was looking for and followed my lead with how long I wanted to look at different pieces. Patrick and the sales manager were both very personable, friendly, and made a great shopping experience. My furniture was delivered a week after purchase and that was also a positive experience. Larry Boyd was outstanding! We needed a set of dining room chairs the same day we came in, an almoat impossible task yet Larry made it happen.

I bought the nectar matresses from ashley. I got backpain . I call to nectar they told they can take returns but as i bought it from ashley process has to start from Ashley. I called Ashley they told that they don't have return policy they can exchange. When i purchase the matress they didn't inform this. Now they are saying it was in terms and conditions document. It seems to be nice business technique. Every company accepts returns except Ashley and they told me that they have their own policies and rules. Lessons learned : Don't purchase anything from ashley as it is available from direct vendor with the same price so that they will accept returns.

We came in today looking for a mattress and maybe a sectional, Amanda helped us with both! She was knowledgeable about each product and all the features. She listened to our needs and explained what would work best for our situation! We were very comfortable through the entire experience and would fully recommend coming in and working with Amanda for your mattress or sectional needs!

Larry greeted us immediately, told us about all of the promotions they have going on, and checked on us regularly during our visit. He answered all of our questions and happily checked another store's inventory for us. Will definitely come back to this location in the future

Beware: Ashley Furniture Has Zero Integrity After the Sale I was genuinely excited about my new dresser. That excitement wore off fast. The delivery driver left before I could sign or fully inspect it. I noticed a small indentation on one leg, contacted Ashley, accepted a minor partial refund, and considered that matter closed. Fair enough. Then, still within 30 days, I got down on the floor and noticed something far worse: a 7-inch crack, not a scratch, a structural crack in the front facial board beneath the top lip. I reported it. They scheduled a craftsman visit. I thought they were going to make it right. Instead, I got a call today saying that because I’d already settled the first damage claim, they weren’t going to address this one at all. Two completely separate issues. One structural. And they’re tying their hands behind their back with fine print to avoid accountability. This isn’t a customer service issue. It’s an integrity issue. Do yourself a favor: skip Ashley and buy from a local furniture store. You’ll spend comparable money and get people who actually stand behind what they sell.

I had a very pleasant experience dealing with the Ashley furniture store and with my sales associate Hubert Patrick. My daughter and my son-in-law purchased a mattress from Hubert couple months ago and they were very pleased. I was with them when they made that initial purchase and he was very easy to work with. I came back a few months later and purchased my own mattress and box springs from Hubert. There was a slight hiccup regarding the box springs but that issue was resolved quickly and professionally. I had an exceptional experience working with the sales associate and the delivery team from Ashley.

We've been shopping for furniture for a couple of weeks in Durham, but had not found exactly what we were looking for. We went to the Ashley Store on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC, and found what we wanted at a good price that was available for delivery in a couple of weeks rather than 8 to 10 weeks. Many thanks to Nasir Parker, the sales representative who listened to our plan and helped us find pieces that meet our needs.

Loved the in-store experience . Mr Nasir, aka Napa Valley helped me pick out the option that worked best for me. He was very attentive, didn’t rush me into finalising anything ( even though I probably went into the store towards the end of the day). Hopefully the delivery and setup are as smooth as this experience. Would totally come back here for future projects.

Over the years we have bought different items from Ashley Furniture and they never disappoint. Today, we bought a recliner from Joe Parker and he was fabulous to work with. I find shopping for furniture similar to shopping for a car. It can be very painful if you have salespeople constantly pushing you. That was not my experience with Raj at Ashley Furniture. He was very informative and patient with all my questions and quirky ideas. I appreciate him giving me the space I needed to make our decision on a dining room table and the chairs. Since the chairs were my biggest challenge. That you Raj you’re the best!

Joe Parker was the Home Furnishing Professional that worked with us. He was very knowledgeable in helping me decide on the perfect adjustable mattress for me. He did not rush me , and he answered all my questions. Most of his time was spent dealing with the bed, but he also helped with the selection of 2 sofas. Harry was also instrumental in making us feel very comfortable.

Worst Experience I have ever had buying furniture. The furniture itself was wonderful, but the customer service was terrible. I had to go back in afterwork to do a different payment method because you can't have 2 items on financing where you pick up one and one is delivered. My delivery was canceled and no one contacted me. So, I call an hour after the delivery window to be told it was cancelled. I tried to find out how it got messed up and no one would take accountability. I finally got a new delivery date, the furniture showed up damaged. The deliverymen took a photo and said they would report it and someone would be in contact, no one ever called. The salesman at the store after getting me a new delivery date said that customer service would call me after delivery to give me some type of compensation for all the missteps, and I never received a call, email or text. I waited 3 months to write this review to give them time to make it right and no contact. Plus, the delivery fee was insane $140.00. I don't think I will every buy from them again.

I stopped into the Glenwood store today after checking out the Cary store with a friend the day before. The associate at the Cary store who helped us seemed much more interested in assisting my friend than myself and the entire experience was disspointing and left me feeling very discouraged. I had been browsing the Ashley website and was ready to move forward with a purchase after seeing the pieces I was interested in. Unfortunately, the couch I originally had my eye on wasn’t what I expected, and the associate didn’t seem interested in helping me at all. That said, I visited the Glenwood store today and had a completely different experience. Leanne greeted me at the door, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and was incredibly patient and helpful throughout my visit. I never felt rushed or pressured. She truly took the time to talk with me, understand my needs, and help me find a new couch that I’m so excited about. Thank you, Leanne, for completely turning my experience around. The way I felt yesterday compared to today is the complete opposite, and I truly appreciate the care and attention you gave me. I hope this review gets you two stars because that is genuinely how big a difference you made to me!

Amanda was great! We already had an idea of the couch we wanted, and she helped us get squared away quickly and easily; no pressure or upsells! She was great with our 2 year old, and even gave her one of those Purple mattress samples to play with! Overall a great experience!

I went with my 85 year old mom, Betty Mangum, to the Ashley Store in Raleigh, NC to purchase a mattress and motion frame for her. We met Sales Associate, Amanda and also Harry. My mom has Sciatica and needed a good mattress to help alleviate some of her pain. Amanda and Harry were both so informative, respectful and friendly. We have never experienced the assistance and care that they both gave us. If you are searching for a good furniture store please ask for both of them and you will be taken very well care of. On a scale of 1 to 10 we give them a perfect 10.

I wish I had read any reputable review site before purchasing a bed set from Ashley which only has a 72 hour return policy. Look at TrustPilot where thousands of real reviews are posted and they only have a 1 star average. Terrible product- bed sags in the middle only after 1st use! Customer service says there is nothing they can do to help- not even if you are willing to pay. Terrible company! Amazon marketplace have entire companies created around fixing your sagging ashley bed- DONT BUY IT! I spent 50% of the cost on an Amazon bed that is MUCH nicer. It is rare for me to write scathing reviews, but when I get a truly terrible product with truly terrible customer support I have to do my best to have people stay away. Any option is better than Ashley. FYI I purchased from the Ashley store in Raleigh on Glenwood. Don't waste your breath going here.

Great team, friendly, beautiful showroom!

We went to Ashley to look at dining room furniture. We were greeted by Leann who showed us several selections. She took time to compare a piece of existing furniture to the selections to see which set worked the best. We wanted to double check space and compare with another possible set. We returned on Saturday and spoke to Nasir as Leann was unavailable. He answered our final questions and we chose to purchase the dining set from Ashley. Nasir efficiently wrote up our order. Bert, one of the managers, promptly verified financing and we were out the door! Everyone was professional and there were no high pressure sales tactics. Looking forward to delivery soon.

I had the most amazing experience, picking out new furniture for my family room with Amanda! My goodness! When I say she gives service with excellence, that’s just what I mean. My experience was great because it was a unique situation. I went in looking for furniture, Specifically for my sister, (without my sister because se trust me) and needing furniture for myself as well and Amanda was able to help with both. She took her time with me. She wanted to know what I like, what I didn’t like. She took measurements because the height of the furniture was very important to me and my sister. The older we get we need furniture that doesn’t sit as close to the ground as some and Amanda went the extra mile to pull out measuring ruler and all. She gave options and ideas of furniture. Amanda was very patient. All of this took us more than one visit of course, to get all the details right. Amanda stayed after hours with me and I am most appreciative! She excels in her customer service! I give Amanda and her sales manager kudos for all the yeses that they provided. Thank you Amanda!!

Went to the Raleigh location to look at bedroom suits, wasn't really sure what I was going to find, but I was immediately assisted by a gentleman named Larry who promptly provided me with all the information I needed to make a sound decision on the purchase. Larry was very proficient in knowing all the required financing requirements and very knowledgeable of the discounts available. The time that it took from picking out the furniture to final checkout was exceptionally expedient.

There was only one thing that did not meet our criteria - the accessibility of the remote control - she tried numerous ways to resolve it, but we finally concluded we had to keep looking. Amanda Glick, assisted me in finding a couch that was reclining but elegant, I didn’t want a theater look, I want comfortable country elegance. Amanda was attentive, but not stifling, gave me room to explore but was readily available for questions. We then needed a classy pull up coffee table with storage, Amanda showed us a number of options. Once our selection was made, we lingered. Amanda asked if she could help us with anything else, I said ‘what can you show me to complete this look’? We added 2 slim long end tables which totally completed the look. Amanda Glick is the kind of sales rep I hope to run into everywhere I shop, but rarely get. Yesterday I had an outstanding experience working with Patrick. From the moment I walked in, he was attentive, patient, and genuinely focused on understanding my needs. He delivered above and beyond customer service. I most importantly appreciated his attention to detail. He noticed small things I had overlooked which made a huge difference in the long run. We spent nearly three hours working through my purchase, and not once did Patrick show frustration or impatience. He remained friendly, personable, and professional the entire time. Patrick made me feel valued and important throughout the entire process. The overall atmosphere of the store was great. It was clean, welcoming, and staffed with friendly professionals. A general review of Ashley’s. We had purchased a dining room table from Ashley’s a couple years ago. We added the warranty to it, to which we did not use, so we were given a $200 credit back. Mind you we’ve only had the table for 5 years, chairs came broken when originally delivered and the entire top coating has stripped, just from eating on it a few times……When speaking over the phone with customer service, they made it clear that the credit had to be used in store and could only be put towards an item that was physically present on the floor at a local store. When we arrived at the store on Glenwood Ave, the salesperson did not have the item for us to look at and had to order it online? Although it was made clear the credit had to used toward a floor item…. in the end, we were guilt tripped into every protection and added $$ that could be put towards the item……it was a small end table that the credit was being put towards. Sucky situation in all, scam honestly considering we paid more in shipping/ protection coverage than the actual worth of the end table…..would not recommend……

While I am pleased with the mattress and the wonderful service at Ashley, I however I am very upset with the people that delivered the new mattress. They refused to remove both the old mattress and box spring as we were promised. They informed my daughter that they did not know how to remove the box spring. This is unacceptable and my daughter had to remove it herself and find some place to recycle it. I am very upset and disappointed.

We started looking at a new bedroom set back on Labor Day, and Leann was very helpful with out being pushy at all. However, we could not get back in to purchase the set until last week. When we came back, we couldn't find Leann, so Larry jumped in to help us. Leann came in a little while later and actually rembered us and all of our specific needs. Leann and Larry worked together seamlessly and professionally, to help us furnish our house. We highly recommend searching for these two at the Glenwood store, if you are in need of furniture. Ask for Gregory! He assisted us over two days, quoted us multiple items and configurations we were interested in, and was never pushy. He didn't try to sell us on anything he just tried to meet our stated needs and answer questions we had. I had the pleasure of working with Nasir (Nas)and he was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. The worker was more concerned about making a sale that he was not upfront about information regarding the purchase and the hard hit on my credit. It messed up my credit severely and then had the audacity to call me later to ask if I wanted to purchase anything else. Also the "sale" he was offering was a higher price than what I would have spent if I bought the furniture online. SCAMMERS!

Came in late on a weeknight knowing exactly what we wanted and Joe was super helpful and easy going, ready to follow our lead. We were in and out with our sectional purchase in about an hour. If we purchase again we’ll absolutely be asking for Joe.

I left Ashley to shop at other stores, but ended up back in the store because they have everything I could need at the best prices. Gregory worked with me again to find furniture that matched my style and was within my price range. He continues to work with me post-sale as I change my mind and make adaptations. They said they were matching a price and the next day I got a call and said they could not do it. Turns out the maker of the mattress offered free shipping and put together and take away all the old mattress and platform. Ashley Furniture wanted to charge 300.00 for delivery and I would have had to pay someone else to haul away the old one for 200.00. Don't buy a mattress from them

We went to Ashley Homestore today to look at a sectional sofa that we saw online. They didn’t have the exact sofa in store but our sales person, Larry Boyd, was so helpful that we ended up buying the sofa anyway. We sat on a similar sectional that we were pretty sure would be about the same as far as comfort and Larry showed us a sofa with similar fabric. He worked some magic for us and I felt confident that we’d be happy with our purchase. I’ve purchased a lot from Ashley over the years for work and for my home and love their stuff and will definitely work with Larry again next time I come in to the store.

My husband and I purchased a furniture set and a recliner with the Labor Day sales. Unfortunately, we have a defect with the frame of our couch. I returned to the store to speak with a manager. The manager on duty that day was joe parker. He was understanding, apologetic, and came up with a plan for repairs or replacement. Ask for Wesley. He was attentive but not overly so. As we perused the store, he checked in regularly, but without being pushy. Once we made a decision, he worked with patience and diligence to get a great deal on a sofa for us, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with him.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!! And DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY FROM DIAMOND CARE!!! We are seniors and we paid almost $5,009 for a poorly made couch. We were also talked into paying $649.99 for the Diamond Care protection plan. Our couch is NOT EVEN two years old and it ripped. Ashley DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!! Diamond Care refuses to fix it. They said it’s not covered because it ripped on the seam!!! Most reputable furniture companies would fix it but ASHLEY does not value their customers!!

I would like to give a shout out to both Patrick and Joseph at Ashley furniture Raleigh for excellent customer service and knowledge of products. They went the extra mile. I would highly recommend them both.

My wife and I came in after going once before to decide on two different couches. Was helped by Amanda who talked us into a different couch and loveseat. When the couch delivered it was already and hour past the delivery window and the guys were in a hurry to leave and had my wife sign for the couch immediately before she had a chance to look at the couch and the room set up. The couch is too large for our space and it does not look good. After calling Amanda to voice our displeasure we were informed they do not do refunds or returns but she would ask her manager to reconsider. 3 days later we had to call her back to be told that there is nothing that she can do after knowing on the first day and not telling us then. Has been a horrible experience from Ashley and will not be shopping here again.

To start : Assisted by Randall and Nasir Parker, who were 5/5! Great help, courteous, and patient. The DASH service people as well, who came and setup the furniture for us, were kind, helpful, and fast. 5/5 Why 3 stars : Though we received great service from the people we interacted with, Ashley return policy caused an issue. From 1 Ashley store, we purchased a bedframe, and from another Ashley store 3 days later, we purchased a box spring. There was no indication in the display or purchase details of the bed frame that a box spring pallette was already built into the bed frame. We only realized this once we setup our bed frame. So we still have the box spring within the original packaging itself, didn't even remove the tape off it. However, Ashley does not allow us to return it. It is now just a product purchased that is not even used, not even unopened, that is wasted both in use and money. Not sure why they have this policy when it is unreasonable in certain edge cases.

Sales person was good. Sofa looked good for about a month, they replaced the seat cushions a few times, that did not fix the problem. I asked to exchange the item with something else and they would not allow it. Had to give it away and purchase its replacement at a competitor. Very poor customer service, I will never go back.

Purchased a bedroom set on 6/8/25 with an estimated delivery date of 7/8/25. My order has been delayed multiple times with my estimated delivery date as of 8/1/25 now being 8/20/25. Let’s hope this updated delivery date can be adhered to. Everyone at the home store and distribution center has been pleasant to speak with and understanding of my frustrations, however, this experience has been less than ideal. I moved into my new home on 6/2/25 thinking that I could enjoy my new bedroom set pretty soon after. That’s not been the case. Ashely Furniture has certainly let me down.

We had a phenomenal experience shopping at Ashley Furniture We had just gone to browse and had no idea what we really wanted. Amanda helped us find a great electric reclining loveseat. We had not planned on purchasing one but her suggestions helped us make up our mind. She went the extra mile. Held different colored pillows against the loveseat to help visualize the fit in our home. Amanda was extremely knowledgeable about materials and helped us choose a genuine top grain leather furniture. She helped with delivery and additional warranty as well. We love our new loveseat thanks to Amanda's great salesmanship. Will revisit soon.

When we first got there we thought it was going to be like any other store with a salesman where they follow you around and try to push the most expensive items in the store but we were wrong. Not only was Hubert extremely friendly but he also listened to all of our wants and needs and helped us find the perfect items for our new house. He gave us time to browse but also checked on us through out our entire visit. He answered all of our questions and if he didn't know the answer he made sure to find out and get back to us as soon as possible. We met with Patrick in your Raleigh store (Glenwood Ave) on Friday, and he was extremely helpful. He introduced himself, and made himself available whenever we had any questions. That's why we came back on Saturday and ordered a bedroom suite. He even went so far as to "match" a competitors price, which confirmed in our hearts that we wanted to purchase the furniture at Ashley. So with the matching of pricing, we decided to also purchase the mattress and box spring there. All in all, it was a good day.
