Do not waste your money. In store we found the chair we wanted. Paid $999.99 and brought it home. Look online later that evening and the chair is listed at $699.99 ON THEIR WEBSITE. Called the store, but since we already brought it home there is nothing they can do. If we hadn’t brought it home and decided to pick it up later, they would have price matched. This is a classic we got your money, now you mean nothing to us. Terrible business practices at this place, 100% shop elsewhere. Edit: Ashley responded here to email them additional details. I emailed but not sure what additional details you are requesting. I had previously emailed wecare and was told there was nothing you can do. Update: Ashley corporate has made me whole and refunded the $300 difference. It was an obstical course to get here but glad to have a resolution. She confirmed that the stores should be matching internet prices and even checking them daily.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with China over Memorial Day weekend. She was incredibly attentive, taking the time to understand our needs while actively searching for the best deals and prices. Her dedication made the experience seamless, and I highly recommend working with her if you visit the Capital Blvd store.

From the time that I walked through the front door I was greeted by China. She was so awesome in everything, meeting all of my needs in getting my furniture choice from beginning to the end. After purchasing an item over the phone, paying in full and signing paperwork, I was assured by the sales associate, Jennifer, that I could pick up my purchase the following day. Trusting her word, I made a long drive to the store (with people to help because they will not help you move anything) only to be told by the manager upon arrival that the item wouldn't be available for pickup for another 2-3 days. While I LOVE the piece of furniture I purchased, this lack of knowledge, communication, and transparency was EXTREMELY frustrating and inconvenient. It ruined my experience. Jennifer didn't even do the bare minimum of apologizing for her mistake! I was also not contacted when the item was ready, I had to call them.

We worked with Jenny to purchase a mattress and bed frame. She was very responsive and accommodating during the purchase and when we needed to reschedule the delivery of our items. There were a lot of options to look at in the store and Jenny helped us find a mattress that worked well for us.

In between looking, we had great conversation that was very valuable because Antone was learning about me as a customer. This aided Antone in giving me great recommendations. He is 6'3" and I wanted a comfy couch that would fit his size for when he visits. We found several and decided on one with cupholders and a reclining couch at both ends. Excellent quality furniture and great service! 🤩She set up delivery and we got the battery for aesthetics, with no wires. Great suggestion and convenient too! I was politely asked what my interest in furnishings might be appointed in a direction of the bedroom furnishings that I wanted to look at as I ask questions. The sales person seemed very knowledgeable about the items I was interested in And made further inquiries about my specific needs and interest. I was shown a variety of merchandise, including islands that were on sale and as I inquired As to make qualities, the sales person is very knowledgeable about make quality versus value. I feel very good about my purchase and look forward to delivery. My sales. Person’s name is Larry Grant and I highly recommend him and when I return for a living room material I would ask specifically for Larry.

My visit to this Ashley store was super easy. I researched beforehand and came in with a specific sectional in mind. Jose A was great and very knowledgeable about the different characteristics of the sectional I wanted. He was also able to confirm the things I knew and answer any questions I had. The approval process with their lender was also super easy to go through. Based on my shopping experience 5/5 stars. I was in contact with Maryam as my sales rep (and truthfully she is close to a designer in my opinion). The salesman, Larry Grant, told me when purchasing couch that I would have 24 months no interest. When the bill came, it was 30% interest and not 24 months no interest. They lie and scam. I have tried to reach out to their customer service and no one contacts me. Beware they lie about no interest financing.

This was the best experience we’ve ever had at an Ashley Furniture store, and we’ve visited many locations over the years when shopping for different pieces of furniture. Went to look at some couches and we wanted to buy 1. We decided to take advantage of 90 days no interest but the sales guy couldn't tell us anything about what the program is. When reading the contract there is a forced fee of protection $250, accepting delivery $52, and if paid off in 90 days $49 fee and must be approved by the company to be allowed to pay it off. The sales guy was telling us what we are about to sign is wrong and we are gonna pay no fees but the contract for a $1300 couch was going to be $2200. He then started to "try to teach" me about what credit is, how banks work, how money works, and couches are a hot subject at this time. He should be a financial advisor instead of selling a couch. Promotion? Anyways bought the same couch with home delivery for $1100 from us furniture direct.

I purchased a $2600 Sterns and Foster mattress on February 10, 2024 from Antone at Ashley on Capital Blvd. I was reluctant to make the purchase without additional price comparison; however, Antone said he would throw in $300 worth of Ashley Cash to spend on anything if I purchased the mattress on February 10th. I did not have time to browse for other products and I asked if I could come back to spend the $300 on additional items on a later date. He assured me that I could use it on a different date and it would be a credit on my account, so I purchased the mattress. Fast forward to January 12th when I tried to purchase a floor model sofa from Antone using the credit. I needed to find a third party to pick up the floor sample, which I did. I even paid for the third party delivery reservation. I called back Antone and he said he would take care of the floor model purchase over the phone, he would email the receipt and I could have my third party pick it up the following day. I kept contacting Antone and eventually I never heard back. I stopped by the store that evening and the salesperson there said I did not have a credit on my account and that Ashley cash had to be spent the same day. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I would receive a call on January 13th. I was never contacted by a manager and am sick of getting the run around. I have a receipt that says $300 Ashley Cash now that cannot be used plus I am out $135 for the delivery that did not happen. TLDR: Do not trust Antone or the management at this location. They do not stand behind their promises. They are only concerned about making a sale and are clearly not interested in serving the customer. Take your business to another Ashely or better yet a different store.

While the store/employees were great the quality of the furniture deserves 0 stars! I ordered an EXPENSIVE 4k sectional that I loved. In less than a year the the fabric is pilling and discolored from use. I did buy the “warranty” and they sent new covers, but same material that will look awful in a year. It’s a quality issue bc I have an Arhaus sofa that’s 5x as old for similar price and it looks brand new. Pictures shown are after using a fabric shaver as recommended by the company.

The store was very large with plenty of options. It was a bit overwhelming to see so much, however we had a support guide to help us. Jose should be recommended for his great customer service. He took my family and I through a tour of the store and gave us over 15 years of advice to a family from Boston. It was our first experience buying in North Carolina and we felt at home. I spoke with Jose during my lunch break. I walked in the store just to "look" at my options, but I had no intention to buy that day. Jose not only greeted me with a polite smile, it meant a lot to me as a young man with work (construction) clothes on he also remained professional during the just looking phase. He showed me options offered financing if I needed, what stood out to me the most is the interaction with the service plan. I told Jose that the only reason I would need it is for my dogs ripping up the couch and causing damage, instead of giving the generic "it covers all damage" like the last guy at a different store. I initially declined, but I changed my mind because I could appreciate honesty in a sales environment. Thank you Jose, I can't wait to pick up my couches.

Part of my couch was not delivered. I paid extra for delivery, cancelled a Dr appt and husband took off work to accommodate the ONLY day they could deliver! We called and said we would drive 3 hrs to pick it up bc we were free today and they said it cannot be picked up today!!!!!! I need this asap before company comes for Christmas! 😢

Went to two (2) other stores with good ratings first. Both stores had a line of people waiting and basically no employees (other than one or maybe 2) at work. All the furniture was clearly for "Big and Tall" or just gigantically huge pieces. 12 foot couches, king size bed rooms, 8 seat dining rooms, and double wide motorized lift recliners all with absurdly high prices. UNACCEPTABLE. One dude even stopped me as I was leaving and said "we can get on the computer and look at what you might want". I told him "I can do that at home" and left for Ashley Furniture. Best idea I had all day. I was met at the door by Anton. Anton was knowledgeable, asked the right questions, and we buttoned up the deal in one visit. I got 3 pieces of furniture that fit for the price on one piece at the other 2 I saw earlier. It's Ashley for me, and I suggest you ask for Anton by name. Skip the no name / fly by night / deep discounters and the headaches. Go to Ashley Furniture... NOW! Anton hooked me up!

Shopping at Ashley's Home Store on Capital Boulevard yesterday was extremely pleasant experience. When I walked in I was immediately met by Ben, a sales associate. He asked what I was looking for and I told him. He immediately took me to the area where that particular product was and pointed out the ones that met my needs. I had plenty of questions and he had the answers ready. He explained the finances, the warranty, and the delivery details after I selected what I wanted. Ben was easy and fun to work with. We will definitely shop Ashley's for future furniture needs. Thank you, Ben. We had previously been to one of the Glenwood Avenue well known furniture stores. On both visits there, we were greeted by a sales associate who told us to wander around and if we found anything we were interested in, to bring them a phone picture of the sales brochure, and then they would help us with any purchase. As Chuck on Last man Standing would say, " Not Cool".

After I purchased two end tables Sunday, 11/17/24, I went home and pulled up Ashley furniture online and saw the same end tables were online for less. I feel like my sales associate was not an honest person. She first told me they were $375 when I questioned her regarding the sign on the table that stated they are. $249. She did sell them to me for $249. Then as previously stated they were even less online.

She was the only staff member who spoke to us, and despite being busy with another customer, she took the time to acknowledge us and promised to help as soon as she was free. True to her word, she came over and provided exceptional service. Maryam’s attentiveness was incredible—she even noticed my concerned expression from across the room and addressed it. She was very knowledgeable, explaining the differences between materials and why our choice would be a good fit for us. Her suggestions felt thoughtful and genuine, not pushy at all. The store itself had a nice atmosphere with a great selection of high-quality furniture, and it was clean and well-decorated. While the rest of the staff didn’t engage with us, we appreciated not being overwhelmed by sales pitches. The checkout process was smooth, and we’re excited for our new couch to be delivered in two weeks! Beware!!! Ashley Furniture is garbage and they do not stand behind it at all. Their warranty/protections plans—-BS. Save your money and your sanity, shop elsewhere. I’ve had multiple issues with them over multiple purchases and will never, ever shop there again. Update 10/17/24: Ashley asked me to text them in response to my review and then they ignore my texts. What an absolute joke.

Be cautious of buying from here. I had great salesperson (Ben Gamble) and want to acknowledge that. My complaint is with the return policy. Purchased over 8k worth of furniture. After it was delivered and set up in the living room we realized our measurements were wrong and we needed to return one item that cost $769.99. Called and they told us no. Sales are final after delivery and refunds are for online purchases only. Now we are stuck with a brand new couch section worth almost $800 that we cannot use. Please check store policy as they are individually owned or buy online. Will definitely never buy from Ashley again.

I purchased living,dining, and bedroom furniture. In the initial purchase process a chair we wanted was left off. When I contacted the store, I talked with Maryam. She was not who I worked with originally. But she worked to identify the missing piece, worked through the purchase process and delivery. She followed up with me regularly and gave me her cell number which I used a couple of times to ask questions. I do not live full time and Maryam was Super Helpful.

Antone was a great “salesman”. I am disappointed with follow up customer service. Ordered a whole bedroom set, 2 dressers and a bed 8/25. Was told 7- 10 days. Delivery I was told could be 9/7. I had to call to follow up when I heard nothing 9/5…. and told I WAS NOT scheduled for delivery- as the bed was not in. No one followed up- I did. Dressers WERE able to be put on truck and delivered. 9/7 as promised. However, It’s now 9/25 and I still have no bed. No one from Ashley has reached out. I’ve called 3 times. Get no time frame. And even reached out to Antone on his personal number- which he gave me. Crickets. Stuff happens, I get that but, customer service BEGINS by reaching out and keeping the customer informed. I probably would have chosen a different set or a different store if I knew 7-10 days would be way over a month!

I was going into the store with my mom to look for a couch and we were greeted by Anton. I told him what I was looking for he brought me to exactly some selections, he remembered my mom because she had been in there previously, but it was a while ago. He was so friendly we talked about where he was from which was same place. We were from just very personable did not feel like he was pushing any kind of sale. I would absolutely rate him 100% I think one of the best people I’ve worked with in sales in all different industries because he listened, understood what I was looking for and showed several options, was very easy to talk to, and again the most important thing was no pressure put on us no scams or haggling. It felt like walking around the store with a knowledgeable friend making recommendation. That’s exactly what people want. We are so excited for our new couch to come next week post pictures.

I had a great experience with Jose Andrade on 9/1/24 with the purchase of my bedroom set and mattress. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend going to see Jose to assist you for all of your needs.

I went shopping for furniture with my daughter and granddaughter. The employee who took care of us was rather rude from the beginning. He only addressed my daughter and asked her name and the baby's name. I then gave him my name and he was completely dismissive. I was the won buying the furniture yet he proceeded to conduct business with my daughter. In order to get out of there quickly she put the purchase on her Ashley credit card but I was the buyer. Furniture was being delivered to my home not my daughter's home and although I gave him my driver's license so he would have my name and address correct he still misspelled my name. Although I was told that delivery person would call me he wrote my daughter's phone number on the invoice. By the way the employee was around my age not my daughter's so I can't even use that as the excuse for being so rude and dismissive. Also invoice states I declined the 5-year protection plan when in reality it was never offered or even mentioned. Bought the furniture because I liked it and didn't want to drive to another place but I should have walked out immediately when dismissed. Have bought furniture from their Cary location before and never treated this way. I won't call out the employee by name but I hope he reads this and learns something so the next grandma isn't treated like me.

My wife and I were very pleased with the service we recieved at this location from Antone. He was friendly, listened to our needs, and used that information to make excellent product suggestions. 5 stars for Voris, the salesman who provided excellent customer support, knowledge of products & store policy, dedication to resolving frustration with our customer service complaints, & guidance on how to meet our needs. The store itself is nice & I felt comfortable shopping. At this time, it’s best that I don’t rate the corporate costumer service/repair team until they have resolved the issue with my new couch that was delivered with a “manufacturer defect”. After multiple phone calls, I was give a 1 month service repair date which would likely have not resolved the issue because the couch cannot be repaired (it was delivered broken). I returned to the store for a face to face conversation with a manager. Once again Voris was able to help us resolve the issue & he had a new replacement delivery date scheduled within the next 5 days. He even requested that we let him know when our replacement couch was delivered to ensure that we were happy & satisfied with our purchase. He corrected some information that was told to me when I called customer service regarding my warranty & truly wants his customers to have a good experience & enjoy the purchase they have made. He has a bright future & Ashley Furniture could learn a lot from the way he handles customer service. Had I not gone back to the store & saw Voris, I would not even consider writing a review at this point because of the extreme disappointment that I have had in the way their service team has responded from the date of my delivery! Lying, deceiving set of people. I spent thousands here and received about 60 percent of what was promised during the sale. Delivery date changed, yet no one notified me, and when it did come, part of the order was no where to be found. I was told that I would receive a refund of a part of the delivery fee by a liar at the store. To this day nothing. Then I was told to look for the return of the money I paid for that part of the order because it will not come till the next few months, but nothing has been returned. I also was told by the sale rep that I should come and pick up lamps I had purchased. When I went I was told by another person that it was not on my receipt. Just theives. I am very disappointed at the level of incompetence and lies that these people will do to get a sale.

We live significantly closer to the glenwood ave location yet we prefer to bring our business to the capital blvd location because of the customer service. Not only have I had poor customer service at the glenwood location but the customer service at this location has been beyond reproach. The most recent experience was with Benjamin who I believe is a store manager but he went above and beyond every step of the way. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and got the job done. He personally ensured our questions were answered and any hiccups were taken care of before responding back to us and putting the onus on us which is what a business should do. I don’t always shop at Ashley for my furniture but if and when I do, it will be at that location because that type of service deserves loyalty.

We received terrible service post purchase. After they have your money you are no longer a priority. Ashley furniture sent an automated message, to which we replied. They said we would be contacted by a representative, but the only communication we received was from a computer with an automated message. We are very disappointed, our dining table cracked. We payed over 10k for furniture including the dining table, which you would expect to be well built and sturdy. That was not the case, the part that failed seemed to be a glued on portion of the frame.

We were cloudy about what mattress was best for us, but then we met Ben, who navigated us through the maze of mattress options, explaining the pros, cons, and benefits. He efficiently maneuvered us out of cloudy and into clarity gracefully and pressureless. Ben was comprehensive and credible, personable and professional. He knew the inventory and was a pleasure to work with. He didn't just sell us a mattress and base; he also educated us throughout the process. The fact that we made an informed purchase is a glowing compliment to Ben.

We will never shop at Ashley furniture again. The salesperson was great, but that’s it. We bought a Queen sleeper sofa. The delivery guys never even took it off of the truck, but insisted it wouldn’t fit where we wanted it. We were told someone would reach out to us, they never did. So we went into the store 3 days later. We were told it would take 7-10 business days to get our money back. After 12 days, my husband called and was told the Return dept would reach out to him. When they didn’t, he called and spoke with a supervisor that said we already got our money back on 6/20! Impossible since we didn’t get back into the store until the 23rd! Then they said they were charging us a $99 cancellation fee! Well, we didn’t want to cancel it, your delivery guys didn’t want to lift it because it was “heavy”. Such a sour taste in our mouth over the whole thing. We will never shop there again and hopefully we get our money back soon.

We purchased over $10K worth of furniture at Ashley store back in 2022 and we are beyond disappointed about the quality of these products and the delivery service. The sectional we bought for $4k it’s super uncomfortable. Guests have really hurt themself when they sit between each connecting point which is where the buttons controls to the recline are. Those buttons are significantly raised and they are super painful to sit on. The end piece won’t even go up all the way and it was like that since it was delivered. We were just too exhausted from dealing with an awful delivery service so we left it as is but now my baby that is leaning to walk has bumped his head in that corner all the time since it’s sticking out. We have had this furniture for a little over a year and a half and the dinning table just cracked today. We paid $2k for it and today my husband leaned on it and the table snapped! The quality has been extremely disappointing and overall an awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this store. Really bad quality for the high prices.

Sales people are invasive. They wouldn’t leave us alone, and made us draw a picture like toddlers? Even after I said “no” twice - no means no. I did find furniture I liked and purchased it in store. I went home and found the same furniture on Ashley’s website, for 25% less than store. Obviously, I cancelled my store order. The sales person called me a few days later and demanded the reason I cancelled. They hung up after I was vague and deflective. Overall, an incredibly weird interaction. After the uncomfortable phone call, I decided to pay the extra money and go with La-Z-Boy instead. I’m much happier with both the product and purchasing experience.

Came in on Saturday looking for a recliner for my son in law. We ended up leaving with a whole new beautiful living room furniture set. Justin was so helpful and patient. I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone!

Well once again I was told someone would call me back. I spoke with Dereck (Asst Manager) who said he call me back today and well with no surprise that hasn’t happened. Had 4 items delivered June 14th with only 1 not damaged. Someone was supposed to repair a sofa, still waiting. The 2d end table and TV stand were to be delivered today because the 1st delivery they were damaged. Today, once again both damaged. I called and spoke with Dereck who said he was going to “check to see what the deal was and call be back”. So nope, nothing, not even a call saying I’m still checking. So now I will look at other steps since no one here is WILLING to help me.

We worked with Jose today on buying a new sectional couch and ottoman. It was a great experience and he was very personable and quick. We never felt pressured to buy anything and it was as relaxing an experience as he could have made it to be.

It was a great experience until I left the store. I had purchased a mattress and when I looked it up online it said that I should have been given a free adjustable base for purchasing an Ashley mattress. There was no mention of it being an online only discount. I text the sales person I had worked with and who had been very nice to ask about it. She said that each store is franchised and doesn't honor everything online. I feel like this is false advertising by Ashley. Because I did not get a free base, I had to purchase a foundation. So them not honoring their advertising cost me additional. 😕

very bad service...first is long delivery, second is sending wrong goods, third is sending old goods same as picture...called customer service and they said they can't return it because they will Send technician to see what's going on. I visited a number of furniture places and considered consignment shops. After a long day of shoping, I decieded to pop into Ashley Funiture. The quality of product was good and pieces were unique. I found the perfect table and chairs with the color combination I wanted. I met a very helpful sales associate named Charvis who was kind, offered me water and listened to my needs.
