Avoid and also if you do purchase furniture you make sure it solid wood and not pressed cardboard. I got a bed frame and the entire thing is pressed cardboard screws have all pulled out had to pulled it apart and use a super glue to hold it together including new supports because the cardboard cant support itself

Me. Grant sold us the best couch in the store. He greeted us at the door and let us browse the store without being right up under us. When he saw us getting comfy he would come tell us about the product. I like the laidback approach. He made sure everything fit our plan and ultimately he got us to purchase that day. And he provided a nonprofit that will come pick up our old couches!

Went in looking for a couch/sectional. China immediately greeted us, asked what we were looking for, and showed us some options that fit what we asked for! She was incredibly nice and professional, and didn’t pressure us at all. She worked with our budget and helped us design a couch that fit our living room. China didn’t pressure us when we said we wanted to go to a few more furniture stores before making a decision but we ultimately came back and purchased our couch with her at Ashley. She got us scheduled for delivery and was very communicative. Still waiting for our delivery date so can’t review the couch we bought but can’t recommend working with China enough!

We just did business with Anton at the Raleigh location (Capital Blvd) He was very knowledgeable and knowledgeable explained in great detail about all the different types of styles etc. We felt very comfortable and trusting in Anton since he gave us the knowledge to feel we made the right purchase. We have had come bad experiences with another furniture store in the recent past and did not want to ever deal with that stress again. We highly recommend Anton Ashley store had many options.

Beware of their scam to get you to sign up for a line of credit disguised as signing up to get discounts and savings. Especially if you are a new home buyer. The rep that greeted us knew we had just purchased a home but hadn’t yet closed. He tricked us into signing up for a credit card and when I realized what had happened he said the damage was already done. They tried to justify that it wouldn’t be a problem because they wouldn’t charge us until we took delivery after we had closed. However our mortgage company didn’t agree. We were able to mitigate the problem with our mortgage company. We also had a hard time canceling some items we decided we didn’t want. We did pay cash for a couple items and we really like them which is the only reason I’m not giving them a 1 star rating. All said WE WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN.

Do not waste your money. In store we found the chair we wanted. Paid $999.99 and brought it home. Look online later that evening and the chair is listed at $699.99 ON THEIR WEBSITE. Called the store, but since we already brought it home there is nothing they can do. If we hadn’t brought it home and decided to pick it up later, they would have price matched. This is a classic we got your money, now you mean nothing to us. Terrible business practices at this place, 100% shop elsewhere. Edit: Ashley responded here to email them additional details. I emailed but not sure what additional details you are requesting. I had previously emailed wecare and was told there was nothing you can do. Update: Ashley corporate has made me whole and refunded the $300 difference. It was an obstical course to get here but glad to have a resolution. She confirmed that the stores should be matching internet prices and even checking them daily.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with China over Memorial Day weekend. After purchasing an item over the phone, paying in full and signing paperwork, I was assured by the sales associate, Jennifer, that I could pick up my purchase the following day. Trusting her word, I made a long drive to the store (with people to help because they will not help you move anything) only to be told by the manager upon arrival that the item wouldn't be available for pickup for another 2-3 days. While I LOVE the piece of furniture I purchased, this lack of knowledge, communication, and transparency was EXTREMELY frustrating and inconvenient. It ruined my experience. Jennifer didn't even do the bare minimum of apologizing for her mistake! I was also not contacted when the item was ready, I had to call them.

We worked with Jenny to purchase a mattress and bed frame. She was very responsive and accommodating during the purchase and when we needed to reschedule the delivery of our items. There were a lot of options to look at in the store and Jenny helped us find a mattress that worked well for us.

My visit to this Ashley store was super easy. I researched beforehand and came in with a specific sectional in mind. Went to look at some couches and we wanted to buy 1. We decided to take advantage of 90 days no interest but the sales guy couldn't tell us anything about what the program is. When reading the contract there is a forced fee of protection $250, accepting delivery $52, and if paid off in 90 days $49 fee and must be approved by the company to be allowed to pay it off. The sales guy was telling us what we are about to sign is wrong and we are gonna pay no fees but the contract for a $1300 couch was going to be $2200. He then started to "try to teach" me about what credit is, how banks work, how money works, and couches are a hot subject at this time. He should be a financial advisor instead of selling a couch. Promotion? Anyways bought the same couch with home delivery for $1100 from us furniture direct.

I purchased a $2600 Sterns and Foster mattress on February 10, 2024 from Antone at Ashley on Capital Blvd. I was reluctant to make the purchase without additional price comparison; however, Antone said he would throw in $300 worth of Ashley Cash to spend on anything if I purchased the mattress on February 10th. I did not have time to browse for other products and I asked if I could come back to spend the $300 on additional items on a later date. He assured me that I could use it on a different date and it would be a credit on my account, so I purchased the mattress. Fast forward to January 12th when I tried to purchase a floor model sofa from Antone using the credit. I needed to find a third party to pick up the floor sample, which I did. I even paid for the third party delivery reservation. I called back Antone and he said he would take care of the floor model purchase over the phone, he would email the receipt and I could have my third party pick it up the following day. I kept contacting Antone and eventually I never heard back. I stopped by the store that evening and the salesperson there said I did not have a credit on my account and that Ashley cash had to be spent the same day. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I would receive a call on January 13th. I was never contacted by a manager and am sick of getting the run around. I have a receipt that says $300 Ashley Cash now that cannot be used plus I am out $135 for the delivery that did not happen. TLDR: Do not trust Antone or the management at this location. They do not stand behind their promises. They are only concerned about making a sale and are clearly not interested in serving the customer. Take your business to another Ashely or better yet a different store.

While the store/employees were great the quality of the furniture deserves 0 stars! I ordered an EXPENSIVE 4k sectional that I loved. In less than a year the the fabric is pilling and discolored from use. I did buy the “warranty” and they sent new covers, but same material that will look awful in a year. It’s a quality issue bc I have an Arhaus sofa that’s 5x as old for similar price and it looks brand new. Pictures shown are after using a fabric shaver as recommended by the company.

The store was very large with plenty of options. It was a bit overwhelming to see so much, however we had a support guide to help us. Jose should be recommended for his great customer service. He took my family and I through a tour of the store and gave us over 15 years of advice to a family from Boston. It was our first experience buying in North Carolina and we felt at home. I spoke with Jose during my lunch break. I walked in the store just to "look" at my options, but I had no intention to buy that day. Jose not only greeted me with a polite smile, it meant a lot to me as a young man with work (construction) clothes on he also remained professional during the just looking phase. He showed me options offered financing if I needed, what stood out to me the most is the interaction with the service plan. I told Jose that the only reason I would need it is for my dogs ripping up the couch and causing damage, instead of giving the generic "it covers all damage" like the last guy at a different store. I initially declined, but I changed my mind because I could appreciate honesty in a sales environment. Thank you Jose, I can't wait to pick up my couches.

Part of my couch was not delivered. I paid extra for delivery, cancelled a Dr appt and husband took off work to accommodate the ONLY day they could deliver! We called and said we would drive 3 hrs to pick it up bc we were free today and they said it cannot be picked up today!!!!!! I need this asap before company comes for Christmas! 😢

Went to two (2) other stores with good ratings first. Both stores had a line of people waiting and basically no employees (other than one or maybe 2) at work. All the furniture was clearly for "Big and Tall" or just gigantically huge pieces. 12 foot couches, king size bed rooms, 8 seat dining rooms, and double wide motorized lift recliners all with absurdly high prices. UNACCEPTABLE. One dude even stopped me as I was leaving and said "we can get on the computer and look at what you might want". I told him "I can do that at home" and left for Ashley Furniture. Best idea I had all day. I was met at the door by Anton. Anton was knowledgeable, asked the right questions, and we buttoned up the deal in one visit. I got 3 pieces of furniture that fit for the price on one piece at the other 2 I saw earlier. It's Ashley for me, and I suggest you ask for Anton by name. Skip the no name / fly by night / deep discounters and the headaches. Go to Ashley Furniture... NOW! Anton hooked me up!

Shopping at Ashley's Home Store on Capital Boulevard yesterday was extremely pleasant experience. When I walked in I was immediately met by Ben, a sales associate. He asked what I was looking for and I told him. He immediately took me to the area where that particular product was and pointed out the ones that met my needs. I had plenty of questions and he had the answers ready. He explained the finances, the warranty, and the delivery details after I selected what I wanted. Ben was easy and fun to work with. We will definitely shop Ashley's for future furniture needs. Thank you, Ben. We had previously been to one of the Glenwood Avenue well known furniture stores. On both visits there, we were greeted by a sales associate who told us to wander around and if we found anything we were interested in, to bring them a phone picture of the sales brochure, and then they would help us with any purchase. As Chuck on Last man Standing would say, " Not Cool".

I started an online purchase but was not able to complete it. I called the number that was given to speak with a live customer service person. After I purchased two end tables Sunday, 11/17/24, I went home and pulled up Ashley furniture online and saw the same end tables were online for less. I feel like my sales associate was not an honest person. She first told me they were $375 when I questioned her regarding the sign on the table that stated they are. $249. She did sell them to me for $249. Then as previously stated they were even less online.

I highly recommend that you visit this store for quality furniture at a good price. I will be coming back for my adjustable base for my bed!

Beware!!! Ashley Furniture is garbage and they do not stand behind it at all. Their warranty/protections plans—-BS. Save your money and your sanity, shop elsewhere. I’ve had multiple issues with them over multiple purchases and will never, ever shop there again. Update 10/17/24: Ashley asked me to text them in response to my review and then they ignore my texts. What an absolute joke.

Had a really good experience at this store, Voris was great to work with and did us a solid by showing us around and helping us pull the trigger on just the right sectional for us. Would definitely recommend him and this location!

Be cautious of buying from here. I had great salesperson (Ben Gamble) and want to acknowledge that. My complaint is with the return policy. Purchased over 8k worth of furniture. After it was delivered and set up in the living room we realized our measurements were wrong and we needed to return one item that cost $769.99. Called and they told us no. Sales are final after delivery and refunds are for online purchases only. Now we are stuck with a brand new couch section worth almost $800 that we cannot use. Please check store policy as they are individually owned or buy online. Will definitely never buy from Ashley again.

Go see Voris! Great customer service from the start. Very welcoming but not over bearing. He really heard what we wanted and took the time to walk us through the store, showed us our options, and offered knowledge and perspective on products.

If you come to this store, and don't ask for Voris...You're wrong. The guy really helped us out over the course of 2 days and our indecisiveness. Pro Tip: Voris is going to say, "You have to ask yourself a question"... You say, "Do I feel lucky". Great experience.

Over the weekend I came into the capital location. It was busy but everyone was so helpful. I want to shoutout Justin and Adriana for their diligent work.

The best salesman I ever deal with was Jose, he gave us time to look around without any pressure and he answered all the questions we had, he had a lot of knowledge and was very professional, helped us out with the financing process which was super simple and 2 hours later we walked out with a new living room set and a bedroom set. Thank you Jose! We will come back to keep furnishing our home. 100% recommended

I purchased living,dining, and bedroom furniture. In the initial purchase process a chair we wanted was left off. When I contacted the store, I talked with Maryam. She was not who I worked with originally. But she worked to identify the missing piece, worked through the purchase process and delivery. She followed up with me regularly and gave me her cell number which I used a couple of times to ask questions. I do not live full time and Maryam was Super Helpful.

Antone was a great “salesman”. I am disappointed with follow up customer service. Ordered a whole bedroom set, 2 dressers and a bed 8/25. Was told 7- 10 days. Delivery I was told could be 9/7. I had to call to follow up when I heard nothing 9/5…. and told I WAS NOT scheduled for delivery- as the bed was not in. No one followed up- I did. Dressers WERE able to be put on truck and delivered. 9/7 as promised. However, It’s now 9/25 and I still have no bed. No one from Ashley has reached out. I’ve called 3 times. Get no time frame. And even reached out to Antone on his personal number- which he gave me. Crickets. Stuff happens, I get that but, customer service BEGINS by reaching out and keeping the customer informed. I probably would have chosen a different set or a different store if I knew 7-10 days would be way over a month!

Ashley Furniture store has always taken care of us. We walked in and Sam took really good care of us, very helpful and patience. We will come back and use her expertise when we move again. 5 stars! ⭐️

I was going into the store with my mom to look for a couch and we were greeted by Anton. I told him what I was looking for he brought me to exactly some selections, he remembered my mom because she had been in there previously, but it was a while ago. He was so friendly we talked about where he was from which was same place. We were from just very personable did not feel like he was pushing any kind of sale. I would absolutely rate him 100% I think one of the best people I’ve worked with in sales in all different industries because he listened, understood what I was looking for and showed several options, was very easy to talk to, and again the most important thing was no pressure put on us no scams or haggling. It felt like walking around the store with a knowledgeable friend making recommendation. That’s exactly what people want. We are so excited for our new couch to come next week post pictures.

We talked about what we were looking for and he escorted us directly to the recliner chair section. We quickly found just what we were looking for. Jose was very professional during the whole process of purchasing the chairs. He explained all steps and guarantees. We were left with a very good feeling about Ashley Furnature store.

Voris was our salesperson and went above and beyond to meet our needs He welcomed us with a warm greeting at the door, asked all the right questions and gave us space to look around. He had some pretty wise recommendations as well for decor and placement based on what we wanted to get out of our living set. There was no set delivery date for the rug we wanted to order so he was nice enough to offer half off on the spot for the one that was displayed! I had a great experience with Jose Andrade on 9/1/24 with the purchase of my bedroom set and mattress. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend going to see Jose to assist you for all of your needs.

I went shopping for furniture with my daughter and granddaughter. The employee who took care of us was rather rude from the beginning. He only addressed my daughter and asked her name and the baby's name. I then gave him my name and he was completely dismissive. I was the won buying the furniture yet he proceeded to conduct business with my daughter. In order to get out of there quickly she put the purchase on her Ashley credit card but I was the buyer. Furniture was being delivered to my home not my daughter's home and although I gave him my driver's license so he would have my name and address correct he still misspelled my name. Although I was told that delivery person would call me he wrote my daughter's phone number on the invoice. By the way the employee was around my age not my daughter's so I can't even use that as the excuse for being so rude and dismissive. Also invoice states I declined the 5-year protection plan when in reality it was never offered or even mentioned. Bought the furniture because I liked it and didn't want to drive to another place but I should have walked out immediately when dismissed. Have bought furniture from their Cary location before and never treated this way. I won't call out the employee by name but I hope he reads this and learns something so the next grandma isn't treated like me.

My wife and I were very pleased with the service we recieved at this location from Antone. He was friendly, listened to our needs, and used that information to make excellent product suggestions.
