Shopping at Ashley's Home Store on Capital Boulevard yesterday was extremely pleasant experience. When I walked in I was immediately met by Ben, a sales associate. He asked what I was looking for and I told him. He immediately took me to the area where that particular product was and pointed out the ones that met my needs. I had plenty of questions and he had the answers ready. He explained the finances, the warranty, and the delivery details after I selected what I wanted. Ben was easy and fun to work with. We will definitely shop Ashley's for future furniture needs. Thank you, Ben. We had previously been to one of the Glenwood Avenue well known furniture stores. On both visits there, we were greeted by a sales associate who told us to wander around and if we found anything we were interested in, to bring them a phone picture of the sales brochure, and then they would help us with any purchase. As Chuck on Last man Standing would say, " Not Cool".

I started an online purchase but was not able to complete it. I called the number that was given to speak with a live customer service person. I was connected to Maryam a great customer service representative who assisted me with completing the purchase. She was very friendly and professional. After I purchased two end tables Sunday, 11/17/24, I went home and pulled up Ashley furniture online and saw the same end tables were online for less. I feel like my sales associate was not an honest person. She first told me they were $375 when I questioned her regarding the sign on the table that stated they are. $249. She did sell them to me for $249. Then as previously stated they were even less online.

We had an amazing experience at Ashley Furniture, thanks to Maryam! She was the only staff member who spoke to us, and despite being busy with another customer, she took the time to acknowledge us and promised to help as soon as she was free. True to her word, she came over and provided exceptional service. Maryam’s attentiveness was incredible—she even noticed my concerned expression from across the room and addressed it. She was very knowledgeable, explaining the differences between materials and why our choice would be a good fit for us. Her suggestions felt thoughtful and genuine, not pushy at all. The store itself had a nice atmosphere with a great selection of high-quality furniture, and it was clean and well-decorated. While the rest of the staff didn’t engage with us, we appreciated not being overwhelmed by sales pitches. The checkout process was smooth, and we’re excited for our new couch to be delivered in two weeks! Maryam made our visit memorable by connecting with us personally—she felt like a friend and made us feel confident in our purchase. We’ll definitely return to buy from Maryam again. Her kindness and professionalism truly made the experience worth it!

Beware!!! Ashley Furniture is garbage and they do not stand behind it at all. Their warranty/protections plans—-BS. Save your money and your sanity, shop elsewhere. I’ve had multiple issues with them over multiple purchases and will never, ever shop there again. Update 10/17/24: Ashley asked me to text them in response to my review and then they ignore my texts. What an absolute joke.

Be cautious of buying from here. I had great salesperson (Ben Gamble) and want to acknowledge that. My complaint is with the return policy. Purchased over 8k worth of furniture. After it was delivered and set up in the living room we realized our measurements were wrong and we needed to return one item that cost $769.99. Called and they told us no. Sales are final after delivery and refunds are for online purchases only. Now we are stuck with a brand new couch section worth almost $800 that we cannot use. Please check store policy as they are individually owned or buy online. Will definitely never buy from Ashley again.

Go see Voris! Great customer service from the start. Very welcoming but not over bearing. He really heard what we wanted and took the time to walk us through the store, showed us our options, and offered knowledge and perspective on products.

The best salesman I ever deal with was Jose, he gave us time to look around without any pressure and he answered all the questions we had, he had a lot of knowledge and was very professional, helped us out with the financing process which was super simple and 2 hours later we walked out with a new living room set and a bedroom set. I purchased living,dining, and bedroom furniture. In the initial purchase process a chair we wanted was left off. When I contacted the store, I talked with Maryam. She was not who I worked with originally. But she worked to identify the missing piece, worked through the purchase process and delivery. She followed up with me regularly and gave me her cell number which I used a couple of times to ask questions. I do not live full time and Maryam was Super Helpful.

Antone was a great “salesman”. I am disappointed with follow up customer service. Ordered a whole bedroom set, 2 dressers and a bed 8/25. Was told 7- 10 days. Delivery I was told could be 9/7. I had to call to follow up when I heard nothing 9/5…. and told I WAS NOT scheduled for delivery- as the bed was not in. No one followed up- I did. Dressers WERE able to be put on truck and delivered. 9/7 as promised. However, It’s now 9/25 and I still have no bed. No one from Ashley has reached out. I’ve called 3 times. Get no time frame. And even reached out to Antone on his personal number- which he gave me. Crickets. Stuff happens, I get that but, customer service BEGINS by reaching out and keeping the customer informed. I probably would have chosen a different set or a different store if I knew 7-10 days would be way over a month!

Ashley Furniture store has always taken care of us. We walked in and Sam took really good care of us, very helpful and patience. We will come back and use her expertise when we move again. 5 stars! ⭐️

I was going into the store with my mom to look for a couch and we were greeted by Anton. I told him what I was looking for he brought me to exactly some selections, he remembered my mom because she had been in there previously, but it was a while ago. He was so friendly we talked about where he was from which was same place. We were from just very personable did not feel like he was pushing any kind of sale. I would absolutely rate him 100% I think one of the best people I’ve worked with in sales in all different industries because he listened, understood what I was looking for and showed several options, was very easy to talk to, and again the most important thing was no pressure put on us no scams or haggling. It felt like walking around the store with a knowledgeable friend making recommendation. That’s exactly what people want. We are so excited for our new couch to come next week post pictures.

I had a great experience with Jose Andrade on 9/1/24 with the purchase of my bedroom set and mattress. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend going to see Jose to assist you for all of your needs.

I went shopping for furniture with my daughter and granddaughter. The employee who took care of us was rather rude from the beginning. He only addressed my daughter and asked her name and the baby's name. I then gave him my name and he was completely dismissive. I was the won buying the furniture yet he proceeded to conduct business with my daughter. In order to get out of there quickly she put the purchase on her Ashley credit card but I was the buyer. Furniture was being delivered to my home not my daughter's home and although I gave him my driver's license so he would have my name and address correct he still misspelled my name. Although I was told that delivery person would call me he wrote my daughter's phone number on the invoice. By the way the employee was around my age not my daughter's so I can't even use that as the excuse for being so rude and dismissive. Also invoice states I declined the 5-year protection plan when in reality it was never offered or even mentioned. Bought the furniture because I liked it and didn't want to drive to another place but I should have walked out immediately when dismissed. Have bought furniture from their Cary location before and never treated this way. I won't call out the employee by name but I hope he reads this and learns something so the next grandma isn't treated like me.

5 stars for Voris, the salesman who provided excellent customer support, knowledge of products & store policy, dedication to resolving frustration with our customer service complaints, & guidance on how to meet our needs. The store itself is nice & I felt comfortable shopping. At this time, it’s best that I don’t rate the corporate costumer service/repair team until they have resolved the issue with my new couch that was delivered with a “manufacturer defect”. After multiple phone calls, I was give a 1 month service repair date which would likely have not resolved the issue because the couch cannot be repaired (it was delivered broken). I returned to the store for a face to face conversation with a manager. Once again Voris was able to help us resolve the issue & he had a new replacement delivery date scheduled within the next 5 days. He even requested that we let him know when our replacement couch was delivered to ensure that we were happy & satisfied with our purchase. He corrected some information that was told to me when I called customer service regarding my warranty & truly wants his customers to have a good experience & enjoy the purchase they have made. He has a bright future & Ashley Furniture could learn a lot from the way he handles customer service. Had I not gone back to the store & saw Voris, I would not even consider writing a review at this point because of the extreme disappointment that I have had in the way their service team has responded from the date of my delivery! Voris, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all day… great man, honest, hard working, & we are thankful for his help! Ashley… I’m holding off on your ⭐️ until I can have a more positive review.

Lying, deceiving set of people. I spent thousands here and received about 60 percent of what was promised during the sale. Delivery date changed, yet no one notified me, and when it did come, part of the order was no where to be found. I was told that I would receive a refund of a part of the delivery fee by a liar at the store. To this day nothing. Then I was told to look for the return of the money I paid for that part of the order because it will not come till the next few months, but nothing has been returned. I also was told by the sale rep that I should come and pick up lamps I had purchased. When I went I was told by another person that it was not on my receipt. Just theives. I am very disappointed at the level of incompetence and lies that these people will do to get a sale.

We live significantly closer to the glenwood ave location yet we prefer to bring our business to the capital blvd location because of the customer service. Not only have I had poor customer service at the glenwood location but the customer service at this location has been beyond reproach. The most recent experience was with Benjamin who I believe is a store manager but he went above and beyond every step of the way. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and got the job done. He personally ensured our questions were answered and any hiccups were taken care of before responding back to us and putting the onus on us which is what a business should do. I don’t always shop at Ashley for my furniture but if and when I do, it will be at that location because that type of service deserves loyalty.

We received terrible service post purchase. After they have your money you are no longer a priority. Ashley furniture sent an automated message, to which we replied. They said we would be contacted by a representative, but the only communication we received was from a computer with an automated message. We are very disappointed, our dining table cracked. We payed over 10k for furniture including the dining table, which you would expect to be well built and sturdy. That was not the case, the part that failed seemed to be a glued on portion of the frame.

We were cloudy about what mattress was best for us, but then we met Ben, who navigated us through the maze of mattress options, explaining the pros, cons, and benefits. He efficiently maneuvered us out of cloudy and into clarity gracefully and pressureless. Ben was comprehensive and credible, personable and professional. He knew the inventory and was a pleasure to work with. He didn't just sell us a mattress and base; he also educated us throughout the process. The fact that we made an informed purchase is a glowing compliment to Ben.

We will never shop at Ashley furniture again. The salesperson was great, but that’s it. We bought a Queen sleeper sofa. The delivery guys never even took it off of the truck, but insisted it wouldn’t fit where we wanted it. We were told someone would reach out to us, they never did. So we went into the store 3 days later. We were told it would take 7-10 business days to get our money back. After 12 days, my husband called and was told the Return dept would reach out to him. When they didn’t, he called and spoke with a supervisor that said we already got our money back on 6/20! Impossible since we didn’t get back into the store until the 23rd! Then they said they were charging us a $99 cancellation fee! Well, we didn’t want to cancel it, your delivery guys didn’t want to lift it because it was “heavy”. Such a sour taste in our mouth over the whole thing. We will never shop there again and hopefully we get our money back soon.

We purchased over $10K worth of furniture at Ashley store back in 2022 and we are beyond disappointed about the quality of these products and the delivery service. The sectional we bought for $4k it’s super uncomfortable. Guests have really hurt themself when they sit between each connecting point which is where the buttons controls to the recline are. Those buttons are significantly raised and they are super painful to sit on. The end piece won’t even go up all the way and it was like that since it was delivered. We were just too exhausted from dealing with an awful delivery service so we left it as is but now my baby that is leaning to walk has bumped his head in that corner all the time since it’s sticking out. We have had this furniture for a little over a year and a half and the dinning table just cracked today. We paid $2k for it and today my husband leaned on it and the table snapped! The quality has been extremely disappointing and overall an awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend buying from this store. Really bad quality for the high prices.

Sales people are invasive. They wouldn’t leave us alone, and made us draw a picture like toddlers? Even after I said “no” twice - no means no. I did find furniture I liked and purchased it in store. I went home and found the same furniture on Ashley’s website, for 25% less than store. Obviously, I cancelled my store order. The sales person called me a few days later and demanded the reason I cancelled. They hung up after I was vague and deflective. Overall, an incredibly weird interaction. After the uncomfortable phone call, I decided to pay the extra money and go with La-Z-Boy instead. I’m much happier with both the product and purchasing experience.

Came in on Saturday looking for a recliner for my son in law. We ended up leaving with a whole new beautiful living room furniture set. Justin was so helpful and patient. I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone!

Well once again I was told someone would call me back. I spoke with Dereck (Asst Manager) who said he call me back today and well with no surprise that hasn’t happened. Had 4 items delivered June 14th with only 1 not damaged. Someone was supposed to repair a sofa, still waiting. The 2d end table and TV stand were to be delivered today because the 1st delivery they were damaged. Today, once again both damaged. I called and spoke with Dereck who said he was going to “check to see what the deal was and call be back”. So nope, nothing, not even a call saying I’m still checking. So now I will look at other steps since no one here is WILLING to help me.

We worked with Jose today on buying a new sectional couch and ottoman. It was a great experience and he was very personable and quick. We never felt pressured to buy anything and it was as relaxing an experience as he could have made it to be.

It was a great experience until I left the store. I had purchased a mattress and when I looked it up online it said that I should have been given a free adjustable base for purchasing an Ashley mattress. There was no mention of it being an online only discount. I text the sales person I had worked with and who had been very nice to ask about it. She said that each store is franchised and doesn't honor everything online. I feel like this is false advertising by Ashley. Because I did not get a free base, I had to purchase a foundation. So them not honoring their advertising cost me additional. 😕

very bad service...first is long delivery, second is sending wrong goods, third is sending old goods same as picture...called customer service and they said they can't return it because they will Send technician to see what's going on. If they can't fix it, they'll change it... it's ridiculous for a big company to do business like that.

I visited a number of furniture places and considered consignment shops. After a long day of shoping, I decieded to pop into Ashley Funiture. The quality of product was good and pieces were unique. I found the perfect table and chairs with the color combination I wanted. I met a very helpful sales associate named Charvis who was kind, offered me water and listened to my needs. We went to several other furniture stores and in some the staff did not seem to want to help us at all. Ashley furniture can have a 5 year warrantee and that was important to us since we got a reclining couch and had ones break on us before, including a Lazyboy. The quality seems very good without paying so much for the name as we had with Lazyboy.

I bought some furniture at Ashley and on the scheduled delivery day I received a message that there would be a 1.5 hour delay. The message also said that I would receive a call 30 minutes before the team arrived at my address. After waiting for a long time, I tried to contact the delivery team, but the calls were not going through. I called the Ashley store and they couldn't tell me where the delivery team was. At that point, without any information, I left the house for 10 minutes (I don't live there) and they called me saying they had just gotten there. I told them to wait for me for 10 minutes as I was coming back and despite confirming that they would wait for me, they left and now I have to wait another week to receive my furniture. After this experience I decided never to buy from this store again.

Mr. Grant was very helpful. I visited the store, he helped me find what I wanted, ordered the item and was on my way in no time! I recommend Mr. Grant's assistance to everyone.

Went there Monday evening to look at our couch again an hour before closing and were greeted by Ben. He was working with a couple other clients but gave great reassurance he would be with us soon and to feel free to look around. Ben met us at the couch and shortly after we began the process of purchasing. He made the process seamless and we look forward to the arrival of our new couch.

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered a really nice sectional almost 3 months before we wanted it delivered so we would have time for it to get delivered to our new house. On the day they were supposed to deliver we heard NOTHING. We had to call them! They said “oh yeah it didn’t come in yet.” It seems as though they weren’t going to let us know but hounded us about when we would order. Even though in their terms and conditions they would alert us to any changes in delivery. They had 3 months to let us know it wouldn’t come in on time. We had to cancel our housewarming because we wanted to present a furnished house. Then they said we could get an in store credit that wouldn’t even cover half the items in the store. They said they were gracious enough to offer an in store credit because our “situation” didn’t qualify for any compensation when we were promised compensation. We FINALLY got our sectional a MONTH after we asked for the delivery. DO NOT shop with them. Once you pay they couldn’t care less about when you receive your items.

I was very happy with my purchase this weekend at Ashley‘s home store in North Raleigh. This is the one by Triangle town center mall. As soon as I came in the store, Larry greeted me with a smile and I was able to tell him exactly what I wanted. He led me to exactly what I needed throughout the store, saving me time. I came back later with my husband, and he spent all the time necessary to get exactly what we needed and create a package for us that was a great deal. We purchased a sectional, 8x10 rug, swivel/glider chair and end table for my daughter’s new home (she paid but allowed us to shop for her!). I ended up saving over $1000 from what I thought I was going to buy at Costco.

Our shopping experience at Ashley was great, no pressure, out salesman was very knowledgeable. We have large pets so we wanted something sturdy and tough… found the ideal furniture. We purchased a couch and loveseat with the extended diamond warranty. After a little over a year one side of our loveseat stopped reclining. Then the other side got stuck straight out. We’ve tried over and over to get this fixed. Phone call after phone call and received little to no response at times. When the warranty team did respond they just said “need more pictures” so we kept sending pictures of the barcodes on the motors. Then one day after MONTHS of calling someone finally replied saying only our couch was covered……..so I called the capital blvd location where we purchased the furniture and was told “ our salesman put both warranties under the couch” and not each individual piece of furniture. And at that time there was nothing they could do but, would see if their service department would look at it. Fast forward another 3 + weeks we’re still at the same place we have been for months trying to get this fixed. We did move during all this and today we were told since we moved it voided the original warranty?????????????? So just some advice. Double check your paperwork if you buy the extended warranty to make sure each piece is listed as covered. And if you move within the first year know that it voids your warranty. We paid for the EXTENDED WARRANTY and it should be honored. We paid A LOT of money for this set not to be able to enjoy it. THEY KNOW by the dollar amount it was for both pieces. But, they are not willing to honor it. Store was great, the salesman was great. But a minor mixup is causing us a lot of problems we shouldn’t have to be dealing with. Never had this problem at other big name furniture stores.

I’m so disappointed by the $$$ bedroom furniture we ordered from Ashley on Capital Blvd. Upon delivery, the integrated lights and touchpad for the headboard would not work. We accepted delivery only after they’d promised the replacement parts would be received within 7-10 days. Now they tell me it will be mid- May before they even ship (at least two full months later) So now, even having purchased the expensive warranty coverage, I’m left with a very expensive, non-functioning, piece of furniture, without even acknowledgement or apology by Ashley. Update 6/4/24: Six months I’ve now waited for the parts to make my furniture function, with no end in sight. I followed through with the number included in the response, which has done nothing to solve the problem. Had Ashley not lied upon delivery, telling me I’d have the parts within 7-10 days, I would have refused delivery. They are the absolute worst. Spare yourself and buy your furniture literally anywhere else.

All i can say is when you go to Ashley stop and ask for Voris. He Was a great help and he went above and beyond and helped me find what i needed. Voris took time out with me and my mom to help us get what we needed. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. I was able to get what i needed and more. Thank you Voris for providing such great customer service.

I purchased some expensive leather furniture from Ashley's last year June 2023 it now March 2024 I purchased the extended 5 years warranty for $699.00 I just found some damaged on my loveseat, so I contacted them and was told it was not covered by the 12 months warranty, so I requested a cancellation of the extended warranty. I made 21 phone CALLS to them regarding my refund, and I was transferred here there and everywhere and nobody can tell me where my money is and it's very frustrating. It seems I will have to take this further so that I can get my money back that's due to me. I WOULD NOT ADVICE ANYONE TO PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM THEM ESPECIALLY THE CAPITAL BLVD RALEIGH, NC LOCATION.

Extended warranty is bogus. Couch I bought used a trampoline instead of springs. Trampoline snapped, so I filed a claim with the warranty and they said that “springs are covered, but the trampoline isn’t.” I tried explaining that they fall under the same category, but didn’t get anywhere.

I bought a bedroom suit and had it delivered. One of the drawers under the bed was defective. The delivery guys called while they were at my house to inform them. They said I should have a new drawer delivered within a couple of weeks. It has been two months now and still no drawer. The delivery/setup guys also failed to install the legs on the two dressers we bought. Very disappointed with Ashley.

I went down to the Ashley store on Sunday. It was the last sale day for black Friday. Maryam helped me pick out a recliner that fits perfectly in my space. I love the zero wall sliding: when you recline, the back does not hit the wall! The seat cushion is firm and the lumbar support excellent. It reclines deeply for nap time, almost flat. The fabric is nice and feels durable but soft too. Price was great and no interest payments for 6 months made the purchase a no-brainer. Maryam was a helpful sales agent, knowledgeable and not too pushy. I have several Ashley pieces now and I am quite happy with their excellent quality and reasonable prices. Delivery and setup came within a week and it was painless and perfect. I can recommend Ashley store and furniture.
