Picking out our furniture at Ashley was a breeze. Michael asked questions about what we were looking for and found the perfect loveseat. We had 2 unmatched chairs and the lovesear had matching chairs. No pressure to buy. Michael just showed us exactly what we asked for he's a super salesman. As I read the reviews the biggest criticism had to do with delivery and assembly. I am trusting that all will go well and we'll have a great experience there also.

Kelsey took me directly to the area where these sofas were on view. When I asked about the bed mechanism, Kelsey opened the bed, explained the workings so my concerns were addressed. I felt very confident working with Kelsey and would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, helpful customer assistant when looking for furniture. I am very pleased with my purchase and would work with Kelsey again.

Decided to upgrade my chair to a new leather recliner and the closest store was Ashley Furniture. Thought I would drop in and see what they had available. My salesperson, Marleen, greeted my wife and me at the entrance and asked what we were interested in seeing. Told her that we were shopping for a recliner and she immediately showed us to one that was very comfortable and its capabilities. With her assistance, I was able to narrow my search down to 3 recliners within 20 minutes and then a final decision in another 20. She was very knowledgeable about the chairs and payment options. It was a very fast and easy decision! 5 Stars!

Horrible experience shopping here. Sales manager Rebecca was extremely rude and dishonest about terms and conditions, from start to finish during the process of purchasing a new couch. She spoke poorly about her other associates, and made me feel as if I was a nuisance when I came in to purchase the couch. I had an issue with my order and no one from the customer care team followed up as they promised they would. Truly the most horrible customer service I have ever encountered. Highly discourage anyone from doing business here, especially with Rebecca.

Melissa/ Demi were absolutely amazing. From the time we walked in Melissa did not push but she absolutely let us know that she was there. She and Demi have been a God sent. Originally, I did not want to go the Ashley but I am thankful my husband encouraged me to just go look. These ladies were patient, kind, truthful, not a salesman but personable. I feel like I’ve known them for years. They helped me and my husband with amazing deals and no hidden fees, everything was known upfront. The furniture is real, heavy furniture not the fake stuff. I was amazed by the options they provided us. If you are ever in Southern Pines, NC stop in and see these ladies. They will help you with all your needs. They made us feel like we were the only customer, even when we walked around for almost an hour looking for what felt like home. I’m so appreciative, grateful and blessed for their help, even down to the conversation was amazing. Definitely my store from here on out.

Would give zero stars if I could. We bought a brand new bed in June, let the salesperson know about our upcoming move and she never mentioned the one year warranty expiring when moving. The bed fell apart 1 week into having it put together by their service guys, (still at our old house) we noticed pieces were missing when looking at our broken bed and immediately called customer service and instead of sending us a new bed they send some parts to fix it ourselves. Well guess what, those weren’t all of the missing pieces needed, the quality is absolutely terrible and the bed fell apart even worse. This is 1 month after buying. We then moved into our new house and had contacted customer service to get a new bed. Instead they offered sending pieces again but that took many phone calls and frustration. It took 4 weeks to get those parts this time and we slept on the ground !!! Will NEVER buy furniture here again.

What can I say…Rebekah was amazing and patient with me when I was there picking out a mattress for my new home. She spent a ton of time with me and was very educated in the mattress realm. I had also gone to another local mattress place with not as great customer service. As a business owner myself, customer service and follow up are very important to me. It’s not just about the sale, it how delivery went as well as building relationships with clients/customers. I’m also the type who has a hard time making a decision and Rebekah truly went the extra mile for me. I felt like I had made a new friend. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed and it never felt icky or “sales-y” which I despise…like going to buy a car. This was soooo much more fun. She was patient when I wanted to try allllll the mattresses, and her sense of humor was on par for who I am. Rebekah explained all the features of the adjustable beds as well. When I decided (about 48 hours later) she was right there with the best pricing. If you’re looking for a mattress, or just a great person to deal with, ask to work with Rebekah. She’s amazing…and probably deserves a raise after all the time she spent with me. Ha! Thank you Rebekah!

We moved to the area from Texas 5 weeks ago and had to buy new furniture when we arrived. We bought a 5 piece set from Ashley in Southern pines. We reported the controller did not work on the love seat and they directed us to customer service who told us they would ship it out. I called back after 2 weeks and was told there was no such order and they apologized and said we would receive the new controller in 7 to 10 days. Now after another 2 weeks nothing still!! Ashley this is how you lose customers for life!! Don't lie to customers!

So me and my husband go to Ashley Furniture Store in Southern Pines NC we just moved into our new home and we were so excited to decorate we purchased a beautiful sofa set with Leo she was the sales person who helped us. We bought the couch on 02/28/25 we have not received anything.We were told our set would be in our house in two weeks after that but we received nothing. Finally we were told we would receive it on Monday 03/17/25.We waited for the email confirmation that we were directed to wait for and we received nothing. My husband finally called and the person over the phone they said they were not sure and it wasn't in there distribution center. We were promised a sofa set that my husband FULLY PAIDED for and every time we call Ashley the customer service representative says things like where not sure or we don't know. So you steal my money and never give me any info on when I will receive my sofa set that I fully PAIDED for. Leo said the delivery would be smooth and properly be handled. And guaranteed. Well today on 3/18/2025 Ashley sent an email saying my furniture would be delivered on 4/15/25. That is horrible. They guaranteed us a two week delivery window and now it turns into about a month and some days or more. Southern Pines NC Ashley furniture store is a rip off they took full advantage of me and my husband and our money. We tried calling Southern Pines Ashley and they send the phone call to some type of call center that doesn't have a clue because when we explain the situation they say we are not sure. Your not sure about my sofa set but you know good and well you took my money that I paided you with because we have the receipts to prove it. This has been a stressful situation for me and my family we payed you a hell of a lot of money and you won't even answer a phone call to help us know what is going on Buyers Beware Ashley Southern Pines are a bunch of Thieves.

Luke and Amanda were extremely helpful on my visit in 1 March 2025. They replaced a battery charger that was lost at no charge, and assisted me in figuring out how to run two Y splitters off my battery for a couch I purchased last week. Among the three of us, we had a couch upside down, the back covers opened, with a new E10 battery and the two Y splitters hooked up to test it before I made the $10 purchase. They went through a lot of work for a little sell. But they gained a satisfied customer.

Leo is good person however my experience overall with Ashley Furniture was terrible. 2 days before the delivery date, they said their IT system is not working. Delivery was delayed for 1 week. If this is the reality, they need to update their systems. Haven't been also informed that bed frame is missing in the bed, I had to find a solution after the delayed delivery.

Helpful staff, found what I was looking for for a great price and was able to secure a very close delivery date.

Me and my husband went shopping for our new home which included 4 bedrooms and our kitchen furniture. We were there the first day about 5 hours. We left 30min. After closing. Luke was our salesperson and he was very patient with us. We've never shopped like that before in one day and since we are older...we were tired 😔. Luke did everything he could to accommodate us and his manager was just as patient, with working over, to get us taken care of. We ended up going back a couple days later and changing some things. We did buy some more furniture. They were having a great sale and we were hoping after a few days we wouldn't lose the sale by changing things. We didn't lose any sale and Luke was still just as patient. I will encourage others to shop with them because I really had a very pleasant experience!!! Love this store! We purchased our bedroom set here previously and just yesterday purchased a new couch for our living room. The Sales guy, Luke was literally perfect. He greeted us at the door, he figured out what we were looking for and directed us. Answered any and all of the questions we had. Mind you, we had our two toddlers with us as well. Very kind, very patient. Ultimately he made the whole process of selecting so easy, we decided and paid for our couch yesterday. He even triple checked all of the details, and again through the payment process to be sure every detail was correct and what we wanted. We left very happy and honestly we keep talking about the over all experience since going. The furniture is very well made, worth every bit of the money. Very beautiful. If you’re thinking about shopping at Ashley, I 10/10 recommend this location.

No pressure shopping at its best! We walked into the Ashley Furniture store and were looking at living room sofas, loveseats and chairs. We were greeted with a smile from Luke, who offered a description of the areas where we could look, divided by styles with modern, sectional and traditional pieces. When we decided on our furniture we went to Luke and told him we were going home to measure and we’d let him know the next day. Luke was off work the next day, but informed JP we would be coming in and he took care of our purchase in about 15 minutes. Easiest purchase ever, and we will be buying all of our furniture from Ashley’s in the future!

Sales woman was lovely. Delivery of our outdoor sofa never happened. Oh, the delivery truck came to our house, but no one ever got out! Our son waited for 3 hours for it, no knock on the door - no ringing the doorbell. The delivery guys never got out of the truck and just left. After pushing back delivery time twice and then just leaving? Manager my husband spoke with said everything was done by email or the app. ??? We weren't aware of this and as we were at work this is useless. Complete and utter lack of service to the point that my husband lost his temper on the phone. We cancelled delivery and purchase - absolutely appalling way to handle this folks.

Our experience with Southern Pines Ashley Furniture was deeply disappointing, especially considering the multitude of negative reviews that appear to have disappeared a year later. Despite our anticipation, crucial hardware for dressers and mirrors was forgotten, arriving almost a month late. The rushed installation process resulted in stripped screws and incorrect placement of pieces in the particle board furniture we paid a premium for. Despite our efforts to inspect thoroughly, delays in delivery meant we couldn't identify these flaws until it was too late. The pressure on the installation team to meet quotas led to oversights, rendering our bed unusable within weeks. Now, due to improper assembly, it's beyond repair and must be discarded. This experience emphasizes the importance of investing in quality products that endure, rather than cheaper alternatives prone to shoddy workmanship. After taking this apart and attempting to rebuild it correctly more than half the screws were just attempted into particle board not even in the correct position. This is unacceptable and completely outside of replacement a year later when you go to move. Additionally, navigating the sales process, with its confusing tiers of 0% financing and convoluted pricing presentations, only added to our frustration.

No one swarmed me when I walked in. That was so refreshing. The main reason I do not shop furniture showrooms is the high-pressure sales. They did not do that here, I looked around for awhile and “Leo” asked if I had any questions at just the appropriate time. She handled my purchase perfectly! Without “high-pressure”. This transaction made me want to come back and deal with “Leo” again in the future.

I have been looking for new furniture for a while I first went to the store in Fayetteville that’s where I met Rebekah I didn’t purchase at that time I went back about 6 months later and she was no longer there so I didn’t purchase again I decided to go to Southern Pines to see if they had anything different and guess who greets me at the door Rebekah I was so glad to see her she remembered me and what I liked so after looking for a while I purchased this time she helped me get what I wanted she was very patient with me. When they delivered it the back fell off the recliner the first time I used it. I went back to the store and was told that once it is delivered and I let them leave then they are finished and I have to contact customer service. I ended up giving it away and purchasing something else. Will never shop there again.

Recent: The customer service here is amazing. They listen to you and show you things in multiple layouts/options. Didn't waste my time trying to sell something that wasn't what I told them I liked. Almost a year ago: Bought our bedroom furniture here because it was time for an upgrade. I was able to change the color last minute because I started second-guessing myself. Delivery was smooth, and when something was damaged during delivery (drawer), the telephone customer service fixed it without any hassle. They mailed me a new drawer in the mail.

Ashley was a great help as we were looking for furniture. Found exactly what I wanted and for the price I wanted.

Never again... spent over 10k with them and I'm very unhappy with the outcome after delivery. Anticipate the let down. My bed is over 4 feet tall and I need to jump up to get in it. If you are of age and need ergonomics do not follow their advice.

This store location, although tucked back away a bit is filled with great customer service oriented workers! You'll enjoy getting just to talk with them all as they help you buy all your furniture needs!!

Great customer service. My wife and I bought a couch last year from Ashley in Southern Pines. We had a great experience so when it came time to get new coffee table we went back. I had been wanting to get a new mattress and adjustable bed as well. Great from start to finish. No pressure sales team. I walked the showroom. Sat in / on all the chairs, couches, loungers. Salesperson offered helpful information about configurations, options, customer satisfaction / feedback on specific items. I bought a sectional couch of 5 pieces, a rug, and 6 seat dining set with china storage buffet. All of it is extraordinarily comfortable. Couch has deep seats with thick, solid cushions. I've fallen asleep on it. I love it. It did come w 10 plump decor pillow. Rug took about 2 weeks to relax but its pushing w/o being super thick. Feels dense with fibers. Dining set is not used frequently so I don't yet know the durability of the surface. It does have a slight scuff it arrived with but a colored wood pencil wood fix. I won't bc I like the look.. Chairs despite not looking comfy are. I thought the wood backs would feel hard but nope, actually nice to sit for meals. Table feels solid. No wobbles. Firmly planted. The China buffet is well built too. Its loaded. Three center drawers are felted. Top and bottom shelves of cabinet are not. Generously roomy. Just under 60" wide. Finance with no interest for 12 months (then obvi ridiculous interest rate) but does sign you up for a credit card that you can cancel. I put down almost half. Using finance program for balance.

I absolutely love the furniture from Ashley Home Furniture and needed to replace/obtain quite a few items after a cross country move. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and informative when it came to choosing the best materials and colors for a house with multiple dogs and cats. I will definitely be coming back!

Went in to buy a bedroom set. Spent about 3700 on it. Was talked into buying from store directly instead of online and getting delivery and set up as well. Was told their delivery team was great and was better than the one that would be delivering from online purchases due to them having a third party delivering team. I am going on the 4th time my furniture will be delivered due to needing to send it back with the delivery guys. The first time, the chest, dresser and king bed frame all had things wrong with them. The dresser had a clear chunk missing from the front that was touched up with a pen, the headboard had a big chunk missing from it, and the chest has a small chunk out of it in the front, back and on the corner where they hit my wall with it, it was discolored. I refused them and had them take it back. After they left, our room smelt of marijuana. Second delivery the chest and king bed Frame was delivered in the box and the delivery guys were amazing and very careful with our furniture. The dresser however had a chunk missing but one of the drawers and you could visibly see it when you closed the door. My husband had them take that back. The third delivery (today) the dresser drawers wouldn’t close right. The one guy couldn’t even lift my dresser putting all of the weight onto the other guy. They were taking it back down stairs and took a chunk out of our baseboard that we will now have to replace. Again, after they left, our room again smelt like marijuana. I have nothing against people doing their own thing, but it is unprofessional to do that before a job and leaving someone’s house sing like it. This post does not reflect all Ashley furnitures, just the one in southern pines. We were assured by Michael that deliver would be great and had been nothing but. Save yourself the hassle and buy online and have it delivered.

I would be eternally grateful. Well, my experience there was very nice. The lady who helped me was very friendly. She looked for options based on what I wanted. She went and checked what options were available. She treated me really, really well. Honestly, she tried to give me the best possible options for what I was asking for. I’ve never felt so loved in a store before. It’s the first time I’ve found someone so kind who sought the best options for me and genuinely cared about what I wanted. Whether I’ll buy or not, I don’t know. But really, I wish there were more people like her working in places like this, in more, in all places. Because one truly feels loved.”

I am happy with my experience in the store, but extremely unhappy with delivery. I was told and it is on my receipt that delivery would be today, Nov 9. The delivery person called and said it would be Sat, Nov 11. This is poor customer service.

JP was super knowledgeable and helpful getting us the mattress we wanted. Dedicated lots of time to making sure we were comfortable before purchasing.

Deceptive and non-transparent sales practices. They originally quoted my wife a price at around a 10% discount for their fall sale. I said no to the insurance and they offered to drop the price by half. Once I brought up their online, nationally advertised 25% off sale, they said they would do me a favor and give 20%. They tried to convince me that it was an online-only sale (which it wasn’t). They then stated that they aren’t required to honor Ashley’s nationally advertised discounts because they are independently owned and that I needed to read the fine print (fine print I said “some exclusions apply…see store for details”). I then overheard a sales agent asking the manager to apply a military discount for another customer (after I had already presented my military ID to the sales associate and they made no mention of a military promotion). When we walked in, we were ready to purchase the furniture at the sticker price. In the end, we walked out on a 10k order because of their deceptive, misleading sales practices. The whole experience reminded me of being at a bad car dealership

I was in a difficult place, going through a separation and moving into a new home without any furniture. The help that I received at Ashley HomeStore, in Southern Pines, NC, by all the associates was amazing! Luke Seropian was the associate that helped me beyond any of my expectations. Every day, for almost a week, Luke would walk with me through the store, helping me find all the furniture I needed to furnish my home. He helped me furnish three bedrooms, a living room and dining room while also helping me get the financing I needed. I never felt pressured or hurried, and some days Luke continued to help me even when the store was closing. All and all, best furniture shopping experience I have ever had and the friendly and helpful staff made it that much better! If there were 10 stars, I would give them a 10!

They don't rotate their mattresses like they should so you can actually feel what it's like to lay on it for the first time compared to hundreds of people laying on it before you. (They rotate out yearly which is not good)

$5100 is what my husband and I paid for new bedroom furniture that was sold as solid wood. The headboard and footboard are in fact solid wood, however the side rails that assist in holding the mattress up are not. Basically, thick particle board. We are going on two weeks not being able to sleep in a bed, and all parts to fix it haven’t shipped. When asked when parts may arrive, they advised maybe by next week. $5100 is NOT pocket change and to pay that kind of money for a bed that breaks within just a few months of use is totally unacceptable. A month of sleeping on a couch and making payments on a bed that I can’t even use. Ridiculous. I am thankful they are sending in replacement parts, but waiting weeks with an estimate of one month is unacceptable. Never again will I purchase from Ashley Furniture. Never again.

My wife and I went to look at living room furniture, and after horrible experiences with other furniture companies, we decided to try this location. We were immediately greeted by Ashley, who gave us a run down on the specials and store layout. While we were trying out furniture, most of the employees made contact to see if we needed help. We started getting comfortable on one living room set, and Jessica came to us already holding papers to show us different options to customize it in ways I didn’t know possible. It wasn’t long after we started talking, and it was like she could see the shape of our living room and helped us to fit it perfectly, and shaped exactly how we wanted. Even the huge DIY tv stand looked like it would be hard to assemble, but it practically unfolded itself right out of the box beautifully. The delivery speed was also surprising, I actually had to ask to push it back a few days. The delivery guys were expected 12:30-3:30 with a phone call before they arrived, they called and arrived 12:30 on the dot. Incredibly fast, professional, and nice men (I did not get their names). A huge thank you to Jessica for helping make it happen, a huge thank you to the two delivery men, and another thanks to Ashley and the rest of the team!

She was really interested in helping me find the piece a furniture for my kitchen. I explain to her that I had been in there once before about a year ago and left disappointed. She went out of her way to find a table similar to the one that I have been looking for. If you're ever in Southern pines and go to the Ashley furniture store there look for Bryn if you need assistance. This furniture is way overpriced for what you actually get. I ordered $5,000 in living room furniture. The company called and told me they had my furniture for delivery. Once it got to my house 1/2 of the sectional that I ordered was unwrapped and was damaged considerably and looked like it had been stored outside in the elements on the ground without any legs. I was told that they would have me a replacement delivered immediately. Now a month later, I still only have 1/2 of a sofa and have been told that it may be up to 6 months before I see the other half! Don't let the store staff fool you...They will promise the world...but instead, This company is a rip off and they do not value their customers and the customer service back end is horrible. I will never buy from this store again.

Amanda provided excellent customer service on my visit to this location. She was very charming and sweet and answered any questions I had. I will definitely be visiting this location again because of Amanda!

I went into the store, planning to just try some things out, JP was really great, zero pressure to buy anything, but explained the features of lots of different beds to me. A month ago we were in the process of purchasing a new home. Just looking around to see what we wanted for our livingroom we had the pleasure of working with Bryn. If you get the chance or are shopping for furniture go see my girl, Bryn. She helped us through the process even though we weren't purchasing that day. When the sale of our home went through we ran right back to Bryn where she once again walked us through the process because we had changed our mind about what we wanted. She is amazing to work with. She made the tedious process of furniture shopping fun and easy!!!

Had a good experience with Ashley furniture. Our sales rep did a great job with facts and not making us feel pressured to buy one thing over another.

Everyone IN the store was extremely polite. I would be more satisfied if they had people with common sense delivering the very expensive furniture we buy. They brought in our mattress and left our walls a wreck. Ignorant people who dont care about other peoples property. I will not have these people bring anything else into our home.
