Went to Ashley with my Fiance to look at a new living room set. We worked with Sarah and thought we had a final price quote. So we proceeded with the credit app and got approved. Once we went to put in the final order we were told the price was an extra 1000 dollars than what we were expecting. Turns out a piece was "forgotten" on the original quote. This put us out of budget. The presumed manager Koda then went to see if he could get the price adjusted. All he could do was take 300 bucks off. Mind you we already had the ding from the credit app based off a completley different price. Very frustrated that we had to lose credit score for a mistake on their part by completley "forgetting" a whole piece of furniture on the quote. Went to discount furniture gallery and was able to get the same 4 piece set with faster delivery and better service for 200 dollars cheaper than our first quoted price with the missing piece of furniture.

Sarah was terrific! She helped us find a recliner and even helped us figure out all the bells and whistles!

We were looking at what we thought was a less expensive bedroom set for our kid at another furniture store... that one ended up being WAAAY more than it appeared to be with their ad. Went back to Ashley the next day and got the kiddo a better set up, with a mattress, box spring, mattress protector, protection kit on ALL for for less than the other places bedroom furniture with much better quality. Pure hell trying to get service from these clowns. 3 year old sofa is broken already due to a manufacturing defect with the decking and the repair guy they sent out today confirmed this. Now hearing again that they expect a 3rd party repair company to fix it because it requires parts. They took our money at purchase time for the protection plan and never registered it - they recently admitted this and refunded the premium for the plan. They also already agreed to take care of the repair so why the U turn now? Buyer beware, dishonesty seems to be the norm here.

We were out shopping for a new sectional couch and originally went to Rooms To Go. We had a rough experience not getting any room to breathe due to the sales person following us around every step we made. We decided to leave and head to Ashley Furniture. We were greeted at the door by Skyler who was absolutely amazing. He told us all about the specials that were going on and let us walk around and look while periodically checking in with us to make sure we were doing good. He answered all questions we had and spent as much time as we needed to ask him questions about each couch we were looking at. He recommended some furniture that was actually in the price range we were looking at spending and nothing more. Skyler was very approachable, outgoing and not only a great sales person but just an awesome individual as we sat down and got to know each other. He didn’t keep us there any longer than we needed to be and we ultimately winded up buying a great sectional couch that fits our family perfectly. When we determined that the sofa we selected would not fit we asked Skylar if he could find something that would work. He recommended that we look at a couple of love seats that were marginally smaller than our sofa requirements. We ultimately found a very comfortable love seat. Since the love seat was under our sofa budget we also found a new kitchen table w/chairs and a new TV stand. Skylar was very patient and waited for us to make a decision without any hard sell from him. Without a doubt this was the best furniture shopping that we have ever experienced.

We have made many strolls through Ashley looking for the right couch. A few months ago, we were helped by Skyler but just wasn’t ready to make the purchase with just moving and other expenses tied to that move. Yesterday, we went back and spoke with Skyler. Not only did we make the purchase, but we had a great conversation with one of the most honest and caring salesman I have met. The sales part of our purchases was the only easy part. Most of our purchases have had huge problems and takes months to rectify. We purcahsed a Realyn Bedroom Collection set. We are not big people and do not do gymnastics in bed. About 7 months after the purchase, the side rail on one side of the bed failed. We called Ashley Furniture - it was still covered under the warranty period but it took 2-3 months to get the new parts. While we were waiting, the bed would randomly fall to the ground in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. When their "technician" came to put on the new part, he said whoever put it together the first time, did not assumble it correctly. I informed him that we paid for assembly so whoever Ashley Furniture sent, is who put it together incorrectly. While he was putting the new part on, he suggested we put the bed up against the wall to make sure it doesn't come apart again. (That's ridiculous. Furniture shouldn't have to be secured by the wall) A drawer that was in the dresser arrived cracked - that was replaced within a couple weeks. We also purchased a power recliner that stopped working 11 months after the purchase. We inspected underneath and saw that the installation team did not secure the wires underneath so they were being chewed up every time we put the feet up and down. We were told the part would be delivered in approximately 10 days and we are still waiting over 2 months later. The last time I called to inquire, I was told the parts are made overseas and it takes a while to get replacement parts. (They should have extra parts to handle repairs. Asking a customer to wait months to have something fixed is NOT reasonable) When we stopped in the store to see if they could help, they said they had heard about this happening with other customers but we should work through it ourselves with customer service. At the time of writting this, we still don't have a working power recliner.

We moved to the Wilmington area from Philadelpha PA and needed to replace some (maybe a LOT) furniture that didn't make the trip. We met Skyler in the showroom, and he immediately made us feel at home. We did a preliminary look around and said we would be back. We came back a week later and Skyler was there and spent literally 3+ hours with us making sure we had exactly what we needed. I recently shopped at the Ashley Home store on Carolina Beach road and purchased a couch and kitchen table. At first, we had planned to take a look and purchase later online since we were in a hurry but was approached by Kota and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful he was without being too pushy. I searched for weeks to find the perfect living room furniture at the best price. I knew Ashley was the best quality. Other stores have only odds and ends pieces still highly priced. At this store, everything is available to see and touch. The Wilmington store at 6832 Market is enormous and best of all it has Aaron, a good man and hard worker. He got my order and made sure i got every discount i was eligible for. Even the delivery fee was reasonable. Save time, go here, find Aaron!

I went into Ashley furniture a few weeks ago just to start my search for a dining room table. I met Kota and spent about 10-15 minutes with him, seeing the tables in stock that met my specifications. I wanted to check out other store options but I wasn’t able to find anything I liked better than the table I found at Ashley, so today I went back. Kota was there again today and was able to help me purchase a wonderful table, as well as an exceptional protection plan. Bought a sofa from here. While the sofa itself is great, be WEARY if their insurance they up-sell. We have tried over 4 times to submit a claim online to have someone come clean a stain on the sofa. Without going into details, it is very clear in my opinion they purposeful try to prevent claims from being processed. It feels like a scam, and clearly shady practices by them. As an update, they denied my family's claims. They claim they do not cover "an accumulation of stains". In other words, if you get more than one stain on your sofa, they may use that to deny your claim. Do NOT purchase their insurance policy.

The design of the chairs is really nice and contemporary, looks well made and were comfortable. I like being able to see furniture in person versus online. Great service and product!

He quickly steered us in the direction of several dining room tables, then backed off and let us look at our leisure. When we had settled on two different sets, we looked over, nodded and he joined us. He quickly and efficiently pointed out the difference between the two sets. When we selected one, but were undecided on the coloring, based on our conversation he astutely pointed out the reason we should go with the particular color that we did indeed purchase. I think the dining room set was the final piece of furniture we needed to purchase. However, if, at some point, we need another piece we would definitely seek out Skyler and Ashley Furniture.
