Great Experience Working with Sandra Bush Ashley furniture Winston-Salem.

Exceptional service.

Part 1 WARNING! Do NOT buy from Ashley Furniture. On 2/8, I purchased a sleeper sofa and a mattress with a box spring from Ashley Furniture, and the experience has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. To even receive a discount, they require you to open a Wells Fargo credit card. I should have walked out of the store at that moment. They will do everything they can to pressure you into signing up. After delivery and unboxing on 2/14, both items began emitting an extremely strong chemical odor. The smell kept getting worse until I had to keep all doors and windows open, even on a cold day. After researching the issue, I learned that these odors are likely VOCs. VOCs can cause dizziness, headaches, asthma flare ups, allergy symptoms, and other health issues. Some VOCs are known carcinogens. I have severe asthma and allergies, and so do others in my home. The smell quickly became unbearable. I contacted the store to request a full refund and return. Instead of allowing me to speak with the location that sold me the items, Ashley forces all customers to go through Customer Care, which has been anything but helpful. Emily, the Warranty Manager for Customer Care, openly acknowledged that the smell from the furniture can last weeks. She told me I could not return the mattress because the receipt states that mattresses are not returnable. What the receipt does not say is that the furniture might emit a toxic chemical odor that makes it unsafe to keep in the home. This is Ashley Furniture failing to uphold their end of the bargain. They offered to send cleaners on Monday, which is not an acceptable solution. No amount of cleaning will remove toxic VOCs. If I wanted to return the sleeper sofa, they would charge a $25 restocking fee. Emily also claimed nothing could be done immediately because the workers had already gone home, even though the business is open seven days a week. This makes no sense, since the store is open, and is unacceptable. Upon hearing this, I demanded to speak to the store. Over the phone, Milan Jimenez, the salesperson who sold me the items, admitted that he did not inform me about strong odors or prolonged off gassing. I was originally told the smell would go away in a few days. This not true. When I pointed out that his statement contradicted what Emily said, I asked to speak to a manager. Jordan, who is one of the managers, was then put on the line. He was unprofessional, rude, and completely unhelpful. He said he did not know what was going on because he was not the one who sold me the furniture. You are the manager of the store, which means it is your responsibility to handle issues like this. His response showed a lack of accountability and a lack of basic customer service skills. I spent over $2,500, and the business was not willing to provide an immediate solution or a full refund. I told Jordan that the so called solutions that he and Emily offered were not solutions at all. I informed him that I would be contacting the BBB and the North Carolina Attorney General, which I will be doing as soon as I finish this review. He then tried to tell me what I should and should not write, and that I should mention that they tried to help me. They did not try to help me. They refused to provide a real fix and refused to issue a full refund. A business has no right to tell a customer what they can write in a review or in a complaint to government agencies. Customers have a 1st Amendment right to warn others about products that can harm their health. For the record, I have bought plenty of furniture over the years and have never experienced anything like this. I have never had brand new furniture arrive with such a toxic smell that it could not safely remain inside my home. To make matters worse, the mattress appeared damaged at one end and two buttons have fallen off of the sleeper sofa. I noticed this after the delivery team had left.

As a wife, the one in charge of planning our big family reunion, I recently purchased several new mattresses and couches from Demetrius from this Ashley store location for our log cabin out of state, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Coordinating a large order from afar can be stressful, but Demetrius and his team at this store made everything incredibly smooth and reassuring from start to finish. They were patient while I figured out sizing for multiple rooms, helped me stay in budget, and made sure delivery was coordinated to our cabin location without any issues. When you’re preparing to host family and want everyone to sleep comfortably, that kind of service means a lot. The mattresses and couches are high quality, comfortable, yet kid friendly-and exactly what we needed to make the cabin feel welcoming and refreshed. Thanks to Demetrius and his help, our guests and family all had a great nights sleep and the reunion went off without a hitch. I truly appreciated the professionalism, communication, and care throughout the process. I highly recommend Demetrius and his store location if you need dependable service-especially for larger or out of state purchases!

The furniture we purchased at Ashley is strong and of good quality. We are very pleased with the living room and bedroom set.

Sales people inside were great, but that’s where it ended. Delivery was a nightmare and months later still no resolution on the thousands of dollars in damage. I paid for delivery and setup. They delivered, I had to help, they tore up my furniture, tore up my house and did not set up a thing. I had big gashes in my railings, door trim, holes on wall, paint scraped up inside, couch arm destroyed, etc. i had to put together and move all the furniture myself. I regret doing any business with Ashley Furniture. A $5,000 set destroyed and thousands of dollars worth of damage to my home. Proceed with caution!!

I purchased a mattress and mattress protector from the Hanes Mall Blvd. location in Winston-Salem, N.C. on December 17th, 2025. At the time of purchase, I was told by a manager on duty that my mattress was in stock at their warehouse, which led me to believe I could expect a delivery date within the near future. Three weeks later, I had still received no notification or updates pertaining to the status of my delivery. I called my sales person to ask for an update, which she was unable to provide. A few days later I was still without any updates, so I called the customer service number and spoke with a Sales Rep Supervisor. This person was extremely condescending, passive aggressive and provided little to no consolation. She informed me that the manager on duty misspoke when telling me my mattress was in stock, and that I could expect yet another week before my mattress would arrive. After escalating my situation, I began to receive text message notifications regarding my delivery. One month after the date of purchase, I finally received my mattress. The delivery drivers did not have my mattress protector with them, which I purchased solely for the purpose of maintaining the warranty on the mattress. I asked where this item was, and was told "They don't deliver those things. I'd have to go to the store and pick it up myself". After calling the customer service number to inquire as to why this wasn't explained to me at my time of purchase, I was informed that their records show the mattress protector was picked up by someone in-store on December 31st. As I have not stepped foot inside the Winston-Salem store since the day of my initial purchase on December 17th, I will acknowledge this as an admission of losing $100 worth of my merchandise, by allowing a stranger to walk out the door with it. I will HIGHLY dissuade ANYONE I know personally from ever shopping with this company. This has been hands down one of the top five worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I've spent $2,000 with this company and been almost completely neglected. Do NOT shop at Ashley Furniture.

We recently had an excellent experience shopping at Ashley Home Store. Our sales associate, Sandra, was kind, very helpful, and attentive to our needs throughout the searching and purchasing process. I appreciated that she wasn’t pushy in any way but took time to listen to what I was looking for and spent a good deal of time with me answering all of my questions even though she knew I wasn’t ready to purchase that day. She made herself available for any further questions as I left the store. Upon return with my husband several weeks later, she was very thorough in explaining about the quality of the furniture I was looking at and did her best to find us the best deals on those specific pieces. The store manager, Stephanie, was equally helpful, kind and attentive during the purchasing process! Finally, I was so thankful that they are able to hold the pieces for us after purchasing them since our house build is not quite finished. So, enjoy shopping at this Ashley Home store as their customer service was excellent!

Buyer Beware, delivery estimates mean NOTHING! When I placed my order, I was told it would arrive on a specific Saturday. Since then, I’ve received daily delay notices pushing the date further and further out. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that the original date was only an “estimate” and that real delivery depends on “availability.” That feels like a bait-and-switch. If you give me a date, I expect you to honor it. Instead, I got empty promises and no accountability. Customer service was no help at all—just repeating the same scripted lines instead of offering real solutions. Bottom line: don’t trust the delivery dates they quote you. They’re meaningless, and the company doesn’t seem to care about being upfront or transparent with customers.

This store treated me very unfairly as a customer. The general manager was rude and blamed us for their mistake. There was a uniformed sales agent who helped me design a couch that was should never have been ordered. They put two pieces together where one side was fully unfinished and had exposed wood and no material. They did not inform us that this would be the case and look bad in our living room. We ultimately returned this unfinished piece as it was unusable and ordered another piece. I understand the mistake, but this store then had the audacity to charge us an additional shipping charge to have the correct piece shipped. The general manager repeatedly blamed us for not knowing the details of their couch design and punished us by refusing to waive the extra shipping cost for their incompetence.

Excellent customer service. Demetrius helped me with customizing the chaise sectional I purchased. Go see him when you go to Ashley furniture.

I bought a bed over a month ago and they still haven't delivered it 🙄 They told me 2 or 3 weeks 😒 If I had known it would take so long I would never have bought there 😒 But this will be the first and only time

Only giving 2 stars because Sherri is fantastic. The “general manager” (didn’t catch his name, black gentleman with glasses) is rude and dismissive. Purchased a floor model bedroom suit that they damaged when taking it apart and we didn’t notice until we put it together about 2 weeks later and when I came to the store to discuss it with him he kept brushing it off and telling me to call the warranty department. I also informed him that the very first time we sat on the bed the middle support broke in half and he didn’t care about that either. Just kept telling me that everything was “as it should’ve been when it was disassembled.” Explain to me how the bolts on the inside of the legs to the middle support being attached to the screws on the support itself when we picked it up isn’t you damaging the product? Wait, you won’t. Make Sherri your GM and I guarantee your list of complaints will go down. She is kind, she listens to concerns, and does what she can to help you out when you come in. Maybe the current “GM” should take notes from his associates.

I do not normally leave negative reviews, but my experience with Ashley’s warranty department has been incredibly frustrating. I purchased a sofa w/chaise in March, 2025 and within 10 days the cushions began sagging noticeably. For furniture that is supposed to be new and of good quality, this is unacceptable. I was referred to the warranty department, where I was told the issue was normal wear and tear and didn’t qualify for a warranty solution. After repeated frustrating discussions, I was offered a replacement cushion that arrived and was the wrong size. After several weeks, another replacement arrived and it also began sagging after a couple of weeks. I contacted the warranty department and was again told it was “normal” wear and tear. Never an apology or any concern for the repeated trouble. I am now working with my amazing sales person to try and resolve the issue, but it’s clear that once Ashley makes the sale, they are no longer interested in customer service/satisfaction.

Well had a bad experiece with ashley a few years ago. They didnt make good on their warranty with popping sounds in the motor and peeling. Thats why we paid extra. Also a stain on the arm where marker bled through paper with grand children. Again we oaid extra for that protection. Thought id bring my dad in for a vetter experience and he wasnt happy.

I really like the things I ordered. My sales associate was very professional as well as the delivery drivers. I do have a scratch on my wood floor from where the stand was moved and not lifted up. The entertainment/fireplace does have a small damaged area but not enough I feel like waiting on a new order. I only received a partial order and hope the rest of my order is here soon. I would recommend Ashley however check your items before the delivery guys leave. I am overall happy with my order.

I bought a bedroom set on New Years Eve, which was delivered near the end of January 2025. There were obvious defects in the finish on the bed headboards, as well as gouged wood on the inside of the footboard. They eventually delivered replacement parts, but they were defective, too (apparently made in Vietnam), so we rejected those and told them to skip the footboard replacement, as we filed away the rough gouge on it ourselves. Then they shipped a couple other headboards to the warehouse, where we found that one was defective, so we exchanged one of them, and they said they reordered the second one. When we went the second time to the warehouse (50 min round trip), they presented the same defective headboard to us again, also unboxed like the first one, so we rejected it for the second time. We told them to forget it, but soon after they called and said the replacement headboard was at the store for pickup, so I went to see it, only to find that they presented the same defective headboard to me for the third time. I told the store manager, Lonnell, that it was the same one and was defective. I showed him how the finish does not extend all the way (full bleed) to the molding on the headboard, and there was clearly worn off finish on the top of the headboard, which both my son and I could see and so could Lonnell. I asked if they could give me some kind of discount. He refused and was dismissive of me saying that the issue was not the quality of the furniture but that my standard is too high. He said he would have a manager call me. Next night, 24 hrs later (Friday), I was there to buy a nearly $2,000 living room set & told him that the manager never called me, but he was dismissive again, so I asked if he asked them to call me and he said he did, which I highly doubt, because they never called me. He then told me they would probably come and get my entire bedroom set and give me a full refund, which I said was ridiculous, since we have been using the furniture for 4 months now and this is simply one defective part, to which he replied, "your standard is ridiculous!" I walked away and went with the salesman to buy the living room set for nearly $2k. I then called Customer Service on two occasions afterward asking for a manager to call me, which they said they would do, but they never did. Watch out for this Lonnell guy, as he can be disrespectful, rude, & dismissive & blame you for issues that are clearly the fault of Ashley Store. I doubt he ever asked for a manager to call me, and I am not happy that they still failed to do so multiple times afterward when I asked them to. I finally spoke to a manager at Corporate who gave me a generous $100 refund for the defective headboard, which I accepted. I also received my living room set delivery which went well and we like it.

I drove 45 minutes out of town to this Ashley Furniture because the location closest to my home isn't so nice, but I'm a long-time Ashley customer, so I wanted to check out another location. Thank God I did because I met Sheri! She was an AMAZING Associate. She listened to my needs, showed me multiple options. She was observant and kind. I saw a set that took my breath away and then spent some time second-guessing myself. Sheri could've been pushy. She could've left me to assist other customers, but she didn't. She let me work through it, answered all my questions, and most of all, she was pleasantly patient. She really took the time to understand my needs and outlined how the sectional I chose was perfect for me. I purchased the sectional I had on my mood board for months, and I can't wait to get my delivery. I will drive the 45 minutes every time I need furniture because of Sheri!

Sherri was so attentive, easy to talk with , interested in what we wanted and so patient with us. She is now my go to person for any future purchases with Ashley.

I advised them of some issues with my couch and love seat, the insurance I purchased listed the problem as manufacturing defect. Ashley Furniture refused to replace the couch stating it was past the manufacturer warranty, and after months of calling and speaking to management they offer to give me a $250 discount. I purchased a set and they refused to replace it! The set is now discontinued so I have furniture that doesn’t match!!! They do not value their customers. I will NEVER purchase anything else from Ashley Furniture. And I won’t ever suggest them to any one I know.

Crazy me and my kids went in there yesterday I had cash ready to make my purchase from what I found online but when I got there I guess bc I’m a single mom and was in my work clothes with my two children.. I didn’t look like I had money.. so your loss Ashley’s your customer service workers suck! Not one of them ever spoke to me to help me out or show me around. Worst furniture buying experience I have ever had by miles. So first of all in the store we were pressured oversold things we did not need in a deceitful and manipulative way. I said no plenty of times that I didn’t want anything extra but they would not relent. Too aggressive and borderline rude. The store rep was misleading and outright dishonest about what perks and benefits we got paying for their “premium delivery.” Onto the awful spectacle that was their “white glove delivery.” Delivery day comes and I take the entire day off work for it. First of all they are late and outside of window sent. Says they will be here in 20 minutes, they show up an hour later. The truck finally comes and the guys getting out are dressed like they are going to a pick up game of basketball. Ashley shirts untucked and loose fitting with street cloths. Not dressed professionally at all. The driver introduced himself as “Deez” either using a street name or nickname. His real name is “Twan Garner.” From the get go entirely ambivalent and rude to his roles and responsibilities related to his job. Jumps out of the truck, and yells “I got a chair and couch, where you want it!” No hello, nothing. Then he says what’s good I’m deez after screaming from his truck door. I said follow me, took them into the house and showed them where the furniture was to go. After showing him the two spaces he looks at me and says “yeah no we ain’t doing that. “ I replied verbatim “that’s stupid because I was told you could do this in the store and I paid for premium delivery” Mr. Deez or Twan Garner shoots me a nasty look and says nothing at all walking away. I precede to arrange and unpack things in my new home assuming he is getting my furniture. Mr. Garner proceeds to come back stomping into my living room shoving his cell phone in my face on speaker repeating here bro talk to my manager about it. I neither requested to or needed/wanted to speak to Mr. Twan Garners manager. I simply communicated what I was told I was paying for in the store whenever purchasing my furniture and this was this young man’s reaction. I simply looked over at him and said “I don’t want to talk to your manager give me my furniture.” To which “Mr. Twan Garner “ replied “I ain’t giving you shit!” He proceeded to sprint out to his delivery truck closing the back door in a frenzy while screaming “you got the wrong one today bro!” several times.. I walk out to the delivery truck to which Mr. Twan Garner has now locked himself in and calmly tap on the window while shrugging my shoulders. He is the in the truck screaming but I cannot make out what he is saying. I stood there for minutes shrugging my shoulders, tapping on his window while he was raging out. So I walk out in front of the truck and call the delivery manager. While on the phone with the delivery manager explaining the situation Mr. Twan Garner begins to rev the trucks engine. I look, step back and he punches the gas while turning the wheel hard right trying to get around me. Mind you I am less than a Foot in front of this truck. He almost slams into me, and would have if I hadn’t moved. He does this several times in a row gunning it while cutting the wheel trying to leave while a human being is in front of his truck, a customer.. Each time he did this he would have run me over or hit me with the front of the truck if I wouldn’t have moved. This happened five to six times. As he finally gets around me he is visibly laughing hysterically in the truck cab and flipping me off with his hand he is not driving with. It is to be noted his passenger delivery person named “Ryan Burton” did nothing to stop, calm or remedy his co-workers behaviors and actions. Once in the truck it seemed that Mr. Burton began to egg on Mr. Twan Garner. Both of these men should be fired. I was literally in fear for my life while he was ramming the truck at me. I felt threatened and that I was in grave danger. There is no excuse period for these actions. Twan Garner should have assault charges filed against him for trying to ram me with a truck.

I went to Ashley furniture with a vague idea of what I wanted for my furnished basement. Sandra worked very patiently with me to pick out furniture and accessory pieces that would work together and for my family. Great shopping and customer service experience!

My husband and I were looking for a new mattress. We paid a lot of money for a Tempur-pedic mattress 6 years at a local mattress store. It has become very uncomfortable to sleep on so we needed a new one. When we talked with Sandra Bush at Ashley, she told us that our mattress should still be under warranty and to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. Sandra did this instead of trying to sell us a new mattress and get a commission on a sale. We thanked her, took her card and left. After trying to contact a real person at Tempur-pedic without success, we went back to the Ashley Store to see Sandra. She helped us try several mattresses. One was just what we both liked so we wound up getting that one. It was on sale for a considerable discount! Sandra got everything lined up for us so our new mattress will be delivered in a couple of weeks and the old one will be hauled away. Sandra was great and we will look for her at Ashley the next time we need any type of furniture.

Daughters bedroom furniture was delivered to her front porch bottom step today, Wed, 8/4/24 in the afternoon. Their home in Pinnacle, NC is a one level home!! The Ashley delivery 2 men using a hand truck chose to deliver the BOXES to the grass front yard at 5 step front porch, instead of the side porch access with 2 steps.?? Go figure??? WHY?? The delivery men said they dont go up steps. The delivery information is very vauge as the service. This information will be shared more than this one rating. No compensation has been made for such an inconvience. The furniture boxes were left in the grass upside down. Pictures will be posted along with this indormation concerning Ashley furniture and thier employees, whether instore, or contracted delivery lazies! As well as the condition of night stand. Pitiful! Next post will have photos!

Have to say - we were fortunate enough to be greeted at the door by Milan a few months ago. After many trips back looking to make sure a sectional was going to work in a new home, even had to change an original order to make it work, I can’t say enough about Milan’s customer service, patience, and he even moved pieces of the sectional around to make sure the right fit! On Friday June 14, 2024, I contacted Customer Service and explained what my issue was. I purchased twin loft beds for my children March 2023 and when Ashely delivered the furniture the service technicians put the beds together using a drill I had no idea it would be a nightmare later down the line. I was moving into a new place June 2024 when the movers arrived, they were unable to take the beds apart because the screws not only were stripped, they were cracked inside the hole. They advised that even if they could get them apart the beds would not be able to be put back together. I contacted customer service I can’t remember the first lady I spoke to name however when I advised her of the issue her response was “what do you want me to do?” (Rude) when I asked for a manager she sent me to Heather Director of Customer Service. That should not be her Job or her title she should be Director of NO CUSTOMER service. Her attitude was horrible she said according to the pictures the beds were fine, when I asked her how she can see black screws on a black bed she stated she can see them fine which is very hard to believe. I asked Heather if it was ASHLEY furniture policy to have the customer to make sure that the furniture is able to be disassembled before the techs leave she stated no but the pictures look fine I advised her that my children have nowhere to sleep now because the techs did a horrible job putting the beds together I asked her do I need to get in contact with Ron and Todd Wanek she stated if you can as to Mock me, and were not helping so figure it out. I'm out of $700 it may not seem like a lot, but it is to me in this economy my children enjoyed their loft beds. I had to have a relative purchase some beds off amazon for me so my children would not be on the floor. Heather is unprofessional I called the store on Hanes Mall Blvd in Winston Salem where I purchased and as soon as they answered the phone the lady was rude and started speaking to me about the issue before I told her about it, because customer service already called. Ashley furniture employees are not empathetic at all and that sucks to be in a profession of Customer Service. I will let everyone I know not to do business with Ashley.

Nice store with warn reception

Took almost 3 months to get my sofa! I just noticed yesterday that I was given a LEFT corner chaise cushion (the seam is on the top) and it should have been a RIGHT corner chaise cushion! I would like the right side cushion please! That was NOT the delivery guys fault, they get the truck packed when they go to delivery! The delivery guys were the BEST part of the whole experience!!! They were Alek and Kameron!!!!! They were professional, kind, and funny! They are GREAT at what they do and know how to interact with customers! I would like to thank them both for being so wonderful and making that part of the experience so pleasant!! BUT I still want the correct chaise cushion!!

We went into Ashley a few days before Memorial Day, hoping to find new couches for our home. We were immediately greeted by Milan at the door. My husband and I were looking for a new sofa. Gage Davis was our salesman. He introduced himself but then let us wander without hovering which we really appreciated. We found a sofa we liked and he was incredibly knowledgable in answering our many questions, not only about the sofa, but also about Ashley’s policies. We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was very personable as well. Gage was called away so Dominique stepped in. She was also incredible in helping us. She was extremely knowledgeable about my concerns about the sofa working with our other furniture. She clearly has an interior decorator’s eye! I don’t and so she was great in helping me with all my questions. She also listened to our preferences and showed us tables that we really liked. And she explained all the policies that Ashley Furniture has in place to really protect the customer. All round it was a great experience. I strongly recommend this store based on our experience with Dominique and Gage! And also our high quality sofa at an extremely good price!

Mike was absolutely fantastic. He displayed generous hospitality and excellence in relationship-building today while helping me and my husband acquire a Purple mattress and base. He answered every question promptly and with care. Ashley's company values are put on display when this gentleman goes to work and you will not be disappointed if you work with him.

The great experience. I was treated with respect and never pressured. I feel I received a great value for the money and would recommend this gentleman to anyone.

I bought my furniture on 9/24/2023. I have already had 2 service calls for broken parts. The cushions on the couch are breaking down and sink into the frame. The cushion on the recliner is bowing upward and this is unexceptable. I reached out to customer service only to be told, if it can be repaired, that's my only option. The replacement parts they sent were damaged and VERY cheaply made. The only thing holding the cushion from falling through to the frame is thin elastic bands. When I refused these damaged and cheaply made parts, I was told the technician could have used some old and new parts to make it work. Are you kidding me ? This is BRAND NEW , EXPENSIVE FURNITURE ! This is what you call customer service ? This is completely unexceptable. Not to mention, I had to store these large boxes in my house for several weeks waiting for a tech to come out. I warn anyone who wants to do buisness with this company. In addition, as Im reading more reviews, I see another customer having broken issues with the exact same couch and recliner I bought. I too saved for a long time and wanted to do business with a local store. Learned my lesson !

We purchased a purple bed and paid about 13K for everything. The sales were great upfront but they way over promised on the delivery. One to two weeks was promised and it took about 4 weeks. They also sold us all the purple sheets, covers and pillows. When the bed arrived we learned that the pillows were queen and not king size. I guess we should have questioned that but it just didn't cross our mind when they put the order together that they would not let us know that they don't carry the king size. When we asked them to make that right they offered us 100 dollar in store credit, which wouldn't help solve the issue nor be compensation for their delivery taking twice as long. When we called to reference the same bed from Mattress Firm, we also leaned that they had a comparable base priced at around 800 vs the 2200 we paid Ashley. We wanted to support a local company but learned the hard way that we should have done more research first. It felt like they were willing to say anything to make the sale and once that was done they just didn't care about the client.

When I visited an Ashley store, the sales staff was very friendly and helpful as I selected my purchase. The sales floor was well organized and made it easier to view the furniture. The recliner that I purchased was delivered in a timely manner. Time and date of delivery were communicated by text and phone, and the deliverymen were professional and careful. I'm very pleased with my new recliner - very comfortable and looks great!

We found the bedroom furniture that we were looking for. There was some confusion with the king size bedframe as to fitment with our Sealy adjustable mattress set up. By the time we added the adjustable frame and mattress, the whole bed was too tall for us to use. Terri Dotson was very helpful and offered to make it right at no cost...we could either return it and try and find another bedframe to match the dresser and nightstands or swap the whole set for another set. We like the bed so much we decided to use just the mattress. The fact that they offered to make it right speaks volumes about this company. Thank you,Vic and Mary Hardy
