Our Ashley Winston-Salem showroom is easy to reach at 1150 Hanes Mall Boulevard, next to Hobby Lobby, and less than a mile from the AMC Hanes 12 theater. What we chose was in stock and scheduled for delivery and setup today. Dion and Rodrick arrived within our three-hour time frame. Both were very respectful and professional. Julie was at the door ready to help us as we walked in. For it being our first time going to a furniture store of this scale, we were slightly worried about being haggled to make a purchase. Julie allowed us the time to walk around the store, checking in occasionally to point us in a direction filtered by our wants/needs but never once did we feel pressured to make a purchase. Although we weren’t needing to make a purchase same day, we were able to find a sectional fitting our exact wants and needs and felt confident in our purchase. Our new couches were delivered yesterday, earlier than we thought, and I actually loved them more than I did at the store. Our entire experience with Ashley Furniture has been incredible. The best thing about our experience is having Katrina Farmer as our sales rep. She gave us the time to shop without being pushy, and once we found furniture we liked, she helped us with making the decision. She was knowledgeable about the stores products, she listened to us regarding our wants, and we felt she had our best interest at heart. It wasn't just about the commission for her. SHOP ELSEWHERE. Poor customer service skills. I ordered $23,000 worth of furniture from this company on 8/23/24. They gave me a platform bed without slats, which is still not here EIGHT weeks later. Very poor treatment and no coordination. Do not buy from this company. They give you the run around. ZERO STARS.

Daughters bedroom furniture was delivered to her front porch bottom step today, Wed, 8/4/24 in the afternoon. Their home in Pinnacle, NC is a one level home!! The Ashley delivery 2 men using a hand truck chose to deliver the BOXES to the grass front yard at 5 step front porch, instead of the side porch access with 2 steps.?? Go figure??? WHY?? The delivery men said they dont go up steps. The delivery information is very vauge as the service. This information will be shared more than this one rating. No compensation has been made for such an inconvience. The furniture boxes were left in the grass upside down. Pictures will be posted along with this indormation concerning Ashley furniture and thier employees, whether instore, or contracted delivery lazies! As well as the condition of night stand. Pitiful! Next post will have photos!

Have to say - we were fortunate enough to be greeted at the door by Milan a few months ago. After many trips back looking to make sure a sectional was going to work in a new home, even had to change an original order to make it work, I can’t say enough about Milan’s customer service, patience, and he even moved pieces of the sectional around to make sure the right fit! We had such a good experience that we went back today to purchase a bed and nightstands. In the future, we will check with Milan at Ashley Furniture first for furniture needs!

On Friday June 14, 2024, I contacted Customer Service and explained what my issue was. I purchased twin loft beds for my children March 2023 and when Ashely delivered the furniture the service technicians put the beds together using a drill I had no idea it would be a nightmare later down the line. I was moving into a new place June 2024 when the movers arrived, they were unable to take the beds apart because the screws not only were stripped, they were cracked inside the hole. They advised that even if they could get them apart the beds would not be able to be put back together. I contacted customer service I can’t remember the first lady I spoke to name however when I advised her of the issue her response was “what do you want me to do?” (Rude) when I asked for a manager she sent me to Heather Director of Customer Service. That should not be her Job or her title she should be Director of NO CUSTOMER service. Her attitude was horrible she said according to the pictures the beds were fine, when I asked her how she can see black screws on a black bed she stated she can see them fine which is very hard to believe. I asked Heather if it was ASHLEY furniture policy to have the customer to make sure that the furniture is able to be disassembled before the techs leave she stated no but the pictures look fine I advised her that my children have nowhere to sleep now because the techs did a horrible job putting the beds together I asked her do I need to get in contact with Ron and Todd Wanek she stated if you can as to Mock me, and were not helping so figure it out. I'm out of $700 it may not seem like a lot, but it is to me in this economy my children enjoyed their loft beds. I had to have a relative purchase some beds off amazon for me so my children would not be on the floor. Heather is unprofessional I called the store on Hanes Mall Blvd in Winston Salem where I purchased and as soon as they answered the phone the lady was rude and started speaking to me about the issue before I told her about it, because customer service already called. Ashley furniture employees are not empathetic at all and that sucks to be in a profession of Customer Service. I will let everyone I know not to do business with Ashley.

While shopping around for furniture I noticed a lot of the sales ppl were dismissive, aloof, busy talking to each other or on their phones. When I went into this store the first time I was expecting the same but was pleasantly surprised when that wasn’t the case. That made me want to go back and purchase my furniture with them. Took almost 3 months to get my sofa! I just noticed yesterday that I was given a LEFT corner chaise cushion (the seam is on the top) and it should have been a RIGHT corner chaise cushion! I would like the right side cushion please! That was NOT the delivery guys fault, they get the truck packed when they go to delivery! The delivery guys were the BEST part of the whole experience!!! They were Alek and Kameron!!!!! They were professional, kind, and funny! They are GREAT at what they do and know how to interact with customers! I would like to thank them both for being so wonderful and making that part of the experience so pleasant!! BUT I still want the correct chaise cushion!!

We went into Ashley a few days before Memorial Day, hoping to find new couches for our home. We were immediately greeted by Milan at the door. He introduced himself and then allowed us some time to take a look around the store. I appreciate that he didn’t bombard us and hover while we were looking. He gave us ample time to look around and then followed up asking if we had any questions. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, as well as personable and friendly! We told him we had to go home and think about what we wanted and to get our dimensions, he gave us his card and advised that he would be here Monday but off on Tuesday. After going home and getting our dimensions we knew what we wanted to do and wanted to go back. We waited until Wednesday when we knew Milan would be there. We found our couches, (they are beautiful), and he was able to give us the best payment options as well as discounts. If we ever need more furniture we know we will be back and seek out one of your best customer service agents you have! Thank you Milan!

My husband and I were looking for a new sofa. Gage Davis was our salesman. He introduced himself but then let us wander without hovering which we really appreciated. We found a sofa we liked and he was incredibly knowledgable in answering our many questions, not only about the sofa, but also about Ashley’s policies. We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was very personable as well. Gage was called away so Dominique stepped in. She was also incredible in helping us. She was extremely knowledgeable about my concerns about the sofa working with our other furniture. She clearly has an interior decorator’s eye! I don’t and so she was great in helping me with all my questions. She also listened to our preferences and showed us tables that we really liked. And she explained all the policies that Ashley Furniture has in place to really protect the customer. All round it was a great experience. I strongly recommend this store based on our experience with Dominique and Gage! And also our high quality sofa at an extremely good price!

I bought my furniture on 9/24/2023. I have already had 2 service calls for broken parts. The cushions on the couch are breaking down and sink into the frame. The cushion on the recliner is bowing upward and this is unexceptable. I reached out to customer service only to be told, if it can be repaired, that's my only option. The replacement parts they sent were damaged and VERY cheaply made. The only thing holding the cushion from falling through to the frame is thin elastic bands. When I refused these damaged and cheaply made parts, I was told the technician could have used some old and new parts to make it work. Are you kidding me ? This is BRAND NEW , EXPENSIVE FURNITURE ! This is what you call customer service ? This is completely unexceptable. Not to mention, I had to store these large boxes in my house for several weeks waiting for a tech to come out. I warn anyone who wants to do buisness with this company. In addition, as Im reading more reviews, I see another customer having broken issues with the exact same couch and recliner I bought. I too saved for a long time and wanted to do business with a local store. Learned my lesson !

We purchased a purple bed and paid about 13K for everything. The sales were great upfront but they way over promised on the delivery. One to two weeks was promised and it took about 4 weeks. They also sold us all the purple sheets, covers and pillows. When the bed arrived we learned that the pillows were queen and not king size. I guess we should have questioned that but it just didn't cross our mind when they put the order together that they would not let us know that they don't carry the king size. When we asked them to make that right they offered us 100 dollar in store credit, which wouldn't help solve the issue nor be compensation for their delivery taking twice as long. When we called to reference the same bed from Mattress Firm, we also leaned that they had a comparable base priced at around 800 vs the 2200 we paid Ashley. We wanted to support a local company but learned the hard way that we should have done more research first. It felt like they were willing to say anything to make the sale and once that was done they just didn't care about the client.

The recliner that I purchased was delivered in a timely manner. Time and date of delivery were communicated by text and phone, and the deliverymen were professional and careful. Stopped in today to look for a few pieces of furniture. The sales lady who offered to assist was very pleasant and not pushy. I realize that this is not a high end brand but for casually used furniture it serves its purpose for the price. It's worth a walk through. I'm not a fan of over stuffed seating or oversized chairs but if you're in the market for that style then this is a store to check out. My advice is to always question the weight capacity for the chairs to ensure that it's sufficient for the user. At the price point here I would question if the frames are solid wood or a composite material. All in all it's not a bad store and worth a look.

We found the bedroom furniture that we were looking for. There was some confusion with the king size bedframe as to fitment with our Sealy adjustable mattress set up. By the time we added the adjustable frame and mattress, the whole bed was too tall for us to use. Terri Dotson was very helpful and offered to make it right at no cost...we could either return it and try and find another bedframe to match the dresser and nightstands or swap the whole set for another set. My wife and I ordered a dining room table and 6 chairs. The chairs were delivered in 2 weeks. At 5 weeks we were advised that the table had been discontinued. We asked if we could have the table still used in the showroom but were advised they had to continue to show it. Nothing was done to compensate us for 5 weeks worth of waiting. We contacted them numerous times and continually got the run around. You could see this coming. I will be filing a report with the BBB as well. I will never do business with Ashley Furniture at any location.

The associate Jordan at Winston Salem Ashley Home Store went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible for my Havalance bedroom collection. I would highly recommend Ashley Home Store to anyone. The delivery went smoothly and quickly! My only complaint with the delivery process is the 2 gentlemen didn’t clean up the tiny styrofoam pieces from unboxing the furniture. Otherwise everything went perfect.

I bought a pretty expensive massage chair from Ashley Furniture in winston salem on July 19th. Less than 3 months ago. Last night, while reclining, it made a big pop sound and a bright white light flashed. No longer working. Ashley said it's covered under warranty but I have to pay for labor since I picked it up vs having it delivered. $100 PER VISIT!! are you kidding me?? I already paid an arm and a leg for the chair. I am so livid. It's not even 3 months old. They lost a customer over $100. I've called numerous times and get the too bad, So sad response. They won't send someone until I pay $100 up front. They should be ashamed of themselves. Update: I emailed the contact given 5 days ago and have not received a response given. I asked for documentation stating that I am supposed to pay for service under warranty.

Having recently moved into a new home I was shopping around for furniture. My aim was to walk in to Ashley furniture store, look around and then move onto the next. I was greeted and welcomed by a lady with a broad smile who introduced themselves as Kim. All the staff I interacted with were not only professional but warm and knowledgeable however it’s Ms. Kim who stood out for me. Ms. Kim offered to show and guide me around the store as we discussed my furniture needs at length and I was sold probably two minutes in. She was warm, knowledgeable, resourceful as well as energetic in everything she did to cater to my furniture needs. I would like to thank her for being patient as I had a plethora of questions and also, for guiding me through this process as it is stressful generally. Her ability to communicate is simply outstanding with impeccable timing; even after making purchases and concluding our business, she did follow up with updates regarding the delivery schedule and also if I was enjoying my new furniture once it was delivered. I had the best experience at Ashley Furniture Store in Winston Salem, NC. I purchased an entire living room suit including an accent chair and rug along with a complete dining room set. I even bought some accent pieces that were a very good marked down price. I had an excellent sales team working with me that included finance and tech. I recently moved to the area from another state and decided to check out some furniture at this location. There was a wonderful soul by the name of Kim that was an absolute gem. She greeted me with a warm smile and gave a thorough explanation of the layout/current deals. The reason why her customer service was top notch, in my opinion, was the fact that she wasn't pushy or shark-like. She told me to have fun and said she'd come back and check on me, which she totally did. She even showed me some of her favorite pieces. Ashley Furniture was the first store we went into and fell in love with a couch, but wanted to make sure we did more research and checked out other stores. After weeks of trying to find something better than we found at Ashley, we were unsuccessful and ended up coming back to Ashley to finally purchase our dream couch. There is a lot of variety depending on your style / needs. The sales representatives are kind and genuinely helpful - we never felt like they were trying to force us to buy anything. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Ashley Furniture to find what you need for your home.

purchased power rocker recliner less than 5 years ago and purchased 5 year warranty = last week the back of the recliner - crappy particle board - cracked ! normal wear and tear and chair accidentally breaks when i sit - claim denied! not an accident they said! so, does that mean i just paid alot for crap!?never ever spend money here again!!!!!!

On June 11, I purchased a queen headboard, footboard, rails, queen foundation mattress and a night stand. I advised I needed it delivered Friday 16th because I had guests coming. (turning my office back into a bedroom). The sales representative stated everything was at the warehouse and could be delivered Friday. I asked again...I can get this Friday. Yes, won't be a problem. It's 4:00 Thursday evening and Ashley just advised the items would not be delivered until Tuesday 29th. If I had been told it was not going to be delivered Friday, I would have went somewhere else. I'm not a happy camping!

My wife tried to surprise me with a recliner. She saved for a while and it broke a few days after purchase. She tried to get a refund and the store wouldn’t help her, followed by a long hateful run with customer service. I’m really disappointed. Won’t buy from them again. Definitely a rip off
I bought a reclining sofa from them and it broke within four days of owning it. When I tried to get a refund because why would I want another one? Ashley Furniture let me know that I couldn’t return my product after 72 hours. Since the weekend was in that time I thought oh okay business days. The lady on the phone laughed and said “nope. Weekend counts too” I’m so frustrated. I saved for a long time to buy something comfortable for my family and now I’m stuck with a low quality recliner that broke after four days. I would not order from Ashley Furniture again. It’ll take me years to to be to replace this now. Please do not waste your money. UPDATE: 6/16/23 - Issue has not been resolved. Added pictures because I was told my issue was fixed. It's not fixed yet. I just want a refund for the couch that broke four days into owning it. That's it. Here is pictures showing that the leg support still doesn't lift all the way, and the mid console has a big gap. It's loose and wiggles a lot. I spent like 1000+ on this. I want my money back.

We had a wonderful experience with Donya at Ashley in Winston Salem today! We didn’t intend on purchasing anything, but after looking around we found a sofa/chair combo (see pics) that we loved and had seen at the store before. Donya was a great consultant; she gave us the freedom to look at our own pace, wasn’t pushy at all but was quick to offer assistance if we needed. She was super personable and had great knowledge of the products in-store as well. After she mentioned the current sale and no interest financing offers, we decided why not? We will have our new pieces in a few weeks (or less) and can’t wait!

Me and my sister went to Ashley on Hanes Mall Blvd to look for a new couch for our home, mainly for our mom. Rosie greeted us at the door and continued to check on us to make sure we were finding everything alright. She was SUPER patient with us and when we spoke to her she was very knowledgeable and honest. Helped us with our purchase and was so great to talk to.

I have been getting my furniture from Ashley for many years at this location and the customer service has always been amazing as well as the furniture we’ve purchased. Everything I have ever purchased I still own or have sold with no issues because it’s such good quality pieces that hold up over time. Recently I moved and needed to purchase a new kitchen table and entertainment center. I went in and Terri Dotson was the consultant helping me. She worked with me and let me price match both pieces I was interested in and saved me almost $800. I highly recommend this location! I never leave disappointed and always keep coming back!

I will never step foot into this location again I have purchased in the past. I was called to confirm my delivery and they texted me. I confirmed 4 times then the day before they are to deliver I'm told it's not in stock!!!?? When I purchased it was in stock. I made arrangements to take off work and canceled plans to be home to receive. Very inconvenient and the rep nonchalant I will never go back. Hire some better people that have great customer service!!

There was no pressure, but I did receive great service and a knowledgeable sales representative! If you are looking for a friendly representative, that is welcoming, kind, and non-judgmental (I actually dressed down in crocs and sweats on purpose) - the Channey will be the one to look for!!!
By far the best shopping experience at Ashley ever. Jourdain McCord met us at the door, introduced himself, and let us shop without hounding us. We ended up buying four items and will be buying more. Easy transaction. Bigfoot is also happy with our purchases. We will only be shopping with Jourdain for now on. Ashley should realize their worth in having a salesman like him.

Saturday I came into the store and was greeted by a very intelligent young man. He helped me find what I was looking and then some. Gage is a very knowledgeable man and very respectful. Not pushy. I will be buying from him continuously.
I would leave 0 stars if I could. We bought furniture from this location a few years ago and even paid for insurance. Was told it covered damages even if our dogs chewed on the furniture. We have NEVER had to use the insurance on our furniture until now. My husband works for Ashley Furniture and even when we were trying to receive our furniture we had the biggest hassle EVER. It took over a month to receive and we also accidentally ordered a pieces too many and tried to send it back while the delivery drivers were here. They told us we had to call and reschedule for someone to come and pick up the extra piece. THEY WE’RE already here. I’m very disappointed in the lack of knowledge the reps had about the insurance which we was also told if we didn’t use we got the $500 back which ends up being a store credit and not the $500 we paid. We will be looking elsewhere for our future furniture purchases.

On January 4, 2023; I met a amazing salesperson named Terri Dotson. She was wonderful and the solution on my problem.Before I met Terri, I bought a bed sofa at Ashley Furniture on 1705 S 40 Dr, Greensboro, NC 27407. I had a horrible experience with them because I wasn't satisfied of my order. When I bought my sofa, I didn't physically see my bed sofa on display but I trust them and there judgement.When my sofa arrives, I wasn't satisfied. I make sure to tell them that I wasn't satisfied.The next day, I've decided to go to Ashley Furniture in Winston Salem. before I enter the door, they call me. During the conversation, they won't give me my FULL refund back because I found a better bed sofa with a waaaaaay better deal with Terri Dotson than the other place. I believe the main reason for them not giving me my full refund is they were too afraid to lose their commission.While I was with Terri Dotson, she make a great pivot by doing some damage control. The crazy part is the whole set on clearance was a couple hundred dollars more than one single bed sofa at Ashley Furniture in Greensboro. The next furniture I will buy, will be at Ashley Furniture in Winston Salem. My salesperson will be Terri Dotson because she is the best that I had.

He even moved a rug from one showing area to where I wanted so that I could have clarity. We went on New Year’s Day to look for a new living room furniture set. We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and welcome. Came in and was helped by Joe. We expressed our needs and preferences and he found us the perfect piece. The whole process was less than an hour. I live an hour away but will be coming back here for all my furniture needs from now on.
We purchased a mattress. We were told that our old mattress would be hauled off and was charged a haul off fee of $70. They brought the new mattress but REFUSED to take the old one. My husband and I both have bad backs so it is difficult for us to move. So now we have to some way get it to the dump and pay a dumping fee. We will not buy anything from them again. So the lady called us and said they did not charge a delivery fee.....so salesman was wrong. The delivery fee however to deliver the mattress was $350.00

I like Ashley as a whole, and they have nice furniture, but of late, your hovered over by the sales reps from the moment you walk into the store until you leave with periodic interjections by the sales rep. The more annoying fact of this helicopter approach are the subjective questions depending on where you are looking (e.g., living room furniture, bedroom furniture or dining room furniture etc) whether you "are looking for a set" for your home, when, as in our case we were only looking for a small table. Further you are left to feel pressured and you can't even find space to talk privately because the "helicopter sales rep" is hovering right over your shoulders. Perhaps the only upsides were / are they are all well dressed, polished, well spoken and professional. My suggestion would be please please please ease up. If a customer has been to your store before because they said so, please give them space.
Just want to say how pleased we are with the service we received from start to finish! My husband and I went out on 1/2/23 to look for new couches. We were directed to Jourdain McCord salesman and he was wonderful! From start to finish we never felt pressured and he even asked us questions to make sure our purchase was right for us! I was blessed to talk to Terri Dotson because she fixed my problem with Ashley Furniture in Greensboro by switching my transaction from Greensboro to theirs. This was a very successful trip to Ashley Furniture Store looking for the right recliner for my wife. When I entered the store I was greeted with a smile and a kind voice from Ms. Rosie Cruz. She ask if she could help and what was I looking for in particular. I mention a recliner and she took me to the back of the store and explained the different varieties and styles. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me. She asked if I had any questions, to let her know. Well, after about 20-30 minutes of sizing up many chairs and conversations on the phone with my wife, a decision was made to purchase. BUYER BEWARE - THEY CHARGE A 25% RESTOCKING FEE. Do NOT believe the salespersons claims regarding returning furniture. They will tell you you can return it in the first 72 hours with "no problem" which is a flat out lie. I have purchased over $11k in furniture over the last month and expressed concern that two of the chairs would be too big for my space. Was reassured multiple times I could return them in the first 72 hours with no issues and am now finding out there is a 25% restocking fee which is costing me a whopping $500 in addition to the $500 I paid for delivery. You have lost a customer for life over this policy as well as how your representative responded with a sarcastic attitude when called out on the misrepresentation. Hopefully my reviews cost you far more than the $500 you just cost me.

Cherrelle was extremely helpful in helping me choose a couch and get a great deal. Went to this location with the hopes of ordering a couch seen in a different store that was at a discounted price. After looking around I found an alternative couch that Cherrelle was able to work out a great deal on, including an ottoman as well! Went back the following weekend to order side table and a coffee table. Excellent customer service!

Nice furniture store.
Too expensive for the quality of the furniture that they sale. Was lied to. Was told that furniture would be delivered in a couple of weeks. It was 3 months and then found out that they had to order it from Vietnam where it had to be built. They deceived me into thinking that it was coming from a nearby warehouse. Very poor quality. Not built to last. The backs of my bedroom furniture headboard, dresser and chest is made out of a thick cardboard type substance. My dining room table looks like wood but when you touch it you realize it feels like some type of hard plastic that won’t last. The chairs get wobbly after someone sits on them and have to tighten up the screws if you can call them that, they aren’t really screws. The seats are upholstered and when you turn them over, there is just hard cardboard underneath. If you stood on one to reach something out of a cabinet you would fall through the chair. Don’t buy their expensive junk!!!!!!!

We purchased a couch today and had a great sales experience. Julie was there to answer questions when we needed her but didn’t follow us around the store or pressure us into anything which was extremely refreshing after going into several of Ashley’s competitors. We had been searching for one with heat and massage for my back issues and everywhere we went tried to sell us individual recliners or massive massage chairs that belong in a spa. We found the perfect couch with everything we wanted at Ashley and Julie was able to answer all of the questions and get us out quickly. Delivery time is only a few weeks compared to March of next year at other stores. We are very happy with our experience.

We just relocated to winston salem and we needed to get living room furniture. I get overwhelmed when making large dollar amount purchases. In this case, we had to stick to a super tight budget. Which kinda made the situation even harder. I'm not kidding when I tell you that Rosie is the most patient, compassionate and understanding person I know.... I'm not exaggerating. Well worth the money. After waiting months on getting a bed from coalfax, I decided to go with Ashley instead. They delivered and installed it. The installation took no more than about 10 minutes for a queen sized bed. What would have taken me hours, took these guys the length of a smoke break. What they sell ain't cheap, but neither is the service. You get what you pay for. And when you go with Ashley Furniture Winston: you get more than your money's worth. Highly recommended 10/10. They just earned a loyal customer.

Sales associates Rosie and Londell were great. The delivery drivers absolutely suck. They would not move my mattress and box spring as promised. I had to move mattress and box spring on my own. Was left with an unpacked box spring unassembled in my bedroom Saturday afternoon and will not come and assemble it until Monday. Not hopeful that that will go as planned. Very disappointed in this experience. It's true...customer service no longer exists. It's not just Ashley..had a similar experience with Mattress Firm delivery drivers. Nobody wants to work anymore. I had a queen size box spring and mattress both delivered to my house 15 years ago with no issue. It's a shame this is not the case any longer.

I bought furniture here. The store is nice, the sales people are nice. Be aware that there is a 300 dollar delivery charge - and this is for local delivery. Secondly, it takes months to get your furniture but they hit the credit card immediately. So you pre-pay for the furniture so that Ashley can then use your money to buy it from the manufacturer, and then you wait months to get it. Also, you get a delivery day. Then later, roughly a day before delivery, they will give you a 4 hour window. If you confirm the day then you have to accept the 4 hour window you get or they charge you another $50 to find another day. I will never shop here again.
The Mattress Manager took me through all the options and I learned I almost purchased the opposite of what I needed. Highly recommend making an in store visit!

I was super excited with buying my furniture in Ashley because I like their style and they have so many options. The selling agent was very nice. But all that changed when I received my new furniture. The guys who did the delivery were running, they didn't even allow me to test all the recliners. I have to run to one of them to tell that there was a problem. Long story short. Two of the recliners they couldn't operate properly because they were too close to the arms, literally, you could see the arm moving when the recliner was working. The middle section didn't have power, so the lights and outlets were useless. I mentioned all these problems to the person installing the sofa and he just said that a technician will come. Well, they didn't even report the problem. Four days later, I had to call Customer Service to make a claim and they don't have a technician available in three weeks. I was expecting something better from Ashley. First, quality furniture and second a faster service. This store is expensive so be consequent with your clients.
Well my new table came today and it actually went together to where there is not a gap. The other table had a gap so wide that you could see the floor at the leaf. This is the third table that they have delivered. The customer service at this company is the sorriest that I have ever dealt with. Whenever I would call the customer service would tell me someone would get back to me within 48 hours and I would never hear from them. I have been dealing with this issue since August of 2021 but guess what, they got their money on day one. I will never do business with them again. Oh and I even sent a certified letter to Todd Wanek, the CEO and have yet to receive a response from him either so I guess they are not worried about one woman giving them a bad review, well they might just be surprised.
Ordered my furniture in January 2022. It is June 19 2022 and I still don't have my furniture.

I purchased an entertainment console, and two end table November 2021. I have yet to receive my items. I will not purchase from Ashley Furniture in the future. I spoke with a representative and inquired about damage control as it only takes 6 months to build a house. He replied there is nothing we can do. I do understand the post COVID delays on some items, but why is there no plan to make sure the customers remain customers and satisfied. There is a such thing as service recovery.

I have been to this store twice in the past months. Every time I go staff is sitting around and never ask may I help you. Both times I have walk the whole store and staff walk right by you and never ask do you.need help.
Here is my experience in this store. I have purchased 3 seated sofa, almost 4 years ago, at that time they convinced me to spend 130$ on Guardian Protection plan to protect my furniture from ANYTHING happen, even replacing it if they cant fix it. I was like that's seems good idea. They gave me a certificate for it too. But here is the moment of truth, the couch seats start to peal off like crazy, I emailed the company (which apparently has a horrible reviews) they replied back in 2 weeks telling me that they just cover STAINS and PUNCTURES funny right from everything to accidental stains and punctures. I went to Ashley telling them that, they were like we apologize for that but right now we cant do anything, you can come back in 5 years and claim your certificate for credit store if you did not use it. So basically Ashley lied to me about their terrible Guardian plan to make a SALE, never trust what they say to you all they care about is selling you unnecessary things and the couch I bought was terrible did not last four years, and I am the only one using it. I am going to report them to the BBB for this bad business, lying to their costumers and being dishonest.
Great, well built furniture, nothing cheaply made, I love this store and I plan on buying more items. The delivery guys were super nice and well dressed. I like buying from a well repected store and the prices are pretty good too.

Order bar stools back in December and when I came to check on them the lady at the front desk had no answer and kept calling someone else that was not showing up. Worse customer service I ever experienced.

Furniture stores all sell furniture, but Ashley Furniture Store sells good quality furniture at affordable prices and they deliver with no hassles. They truly are a business I will be patronizing for all my furniture needs.

If I could give ten zero stars I would. This has been an absolutely horrible and emotional disaster with these guys. First they delivered our furniture two months late totaling seven months. Second the salesperson (who’s name I have forgotten at this point because it’s been so long. Sad.) forgot to add in our ottoman that we said we wanted, even though my wife looked him in the eye and said she did and he APPEARED to be writing it all down on his little pin pad. They did end up giving us that free because of him forgetting so thats okay and we’ll deserved but the stress of it getting here was hard of my family. These guys obviously don’t understand the concept of family and how it feels to have a family gathering during the holidays and not having any place for people to sit and relax. We have complained to them multiple times but it falls on deaf ears due to the fact that the last piece we needed to complete the set of our couch, they brought it but forgot the legs!! LOL. Horrible customer relations, horrible wait times, horrible business! Do yourself a favor and go spend your money somewhere else where they care about you and do everything in there power to make you happy. All these guys see is dollar signs and their “it will get there when it gets there, and how it looks when it gets there doesn’t concern us” attitude. Horrible experience!
I would not recommend purchasing anything from any Ashley furniture store. We had purchased a bedroom set in January and were told it would be arriving in 2-6 weeks. We had received multiple texts that our order was still active and being monitored and we would receive our purchase soon. We eventually called to check since it had been 9 weeks, we still received the same news that it would be here soon. We ended up going to the store and requesting to speak to the manager, and then we were told that the furniture had been discontinued weeks ago... we requested our money back that day and they said they were unable to give us a refund we would have to go through corporate. Terrible experience, will never purchase anything from Ashley again.
Customer service sucks, I ordered a couch and arrived without the back cushions. This is after waiting for around 5 weeks. Now I’m told the item is back ordered so I will have to wait for about 2 months for the cushions. I was told I would not receive a discount or able to return the item. Once you have paid, ashley could care less about you.
I looked everywhere for a dining room set that would fit my vision. Found it here. It took a while to get here. They were upfront about that when I made the purchase. It actually came sooner than expected. The chairs were perfect. Wrong table. Everyone from delivery to management were nothing but apologetic and worked to fix the mixup. I may have to wait on another table, however, the professionalism these folks have shown makes me want to shop no where else. Now, I am waiting on a recliner.

This establishment doesn't even deserve the one star I gave them. I have waited for my furniture for 8 months and still haven't received ANY of my items. I ordered an entertainment center, coffee table, and two end tables. In November, I called the store and tried switching to a different coffee table, that I was told they had in stock. I was told the rest of my furniture was at the distribution center, and would be delivered soon. After scheduling a date to have the coffee table delivered, they had given the rest of my furniture to someone else. Here it is January and I still don't have anything. I am getting a full refund and ordering furniture through Amazon. They sell the same furniture at a similar price. I recommend ordering through ashley furniture in mooresville if you love the brand. Their customer service is much better, and wait times are usually shorter.
I purchased a bedroom set in May of 2020. The bed has completely fallen apart. Laying in the bed and the rail just completely broke off the bed. They only give you a year warranty because the furniture is only good for a year. The extra Guardian warrant only covers accidents so that was no good. Never in my life will I purchase another piece of furniture from Ashely.
I was at Ashley Home store in Winston-Salem about more than two month ago to buy a bed . The sales representative gave me a deal that included bed frames along with mattress & box spring , side tables and dresser .it was being delivered in pieces due to shortage , which I understand . But after a long wait on bed , I followed up and got to know mattress & box spring was not included . Also , the sales person left the job and store didn’t take the responsibility and didn’t give me the mattress & box spring . Post that incident I don’t trust Ashely at Winston Salem. Also , I paid for assembling the bed frame and job done was bad . The screws were not properly tightened and bed was not steady .

We love our new couch and loveseat. We were told 1-4 months for the delivery but received both pieces in less than two weeks. When we were looking for furniture the staff was helpful, polite, and did not overstep boundries. I visited two Ashley Furniture on the same day. Went to Albemarle first and the service was TERRIBLE!! Not one person asked if we needed help or what we might be looking for. Then I went to Winston-Salem and the service was AWESOME!!
I purchased a dining room table set from Ashley Furniture in Winston Salem, NC in November 2019. With that I also purchased a protection plan covering damages to the table for 5 years. The sales lady, Linda, specifically mentioned it covered anything and everything, also stating that it was covered for unlimited repairs and one replacement within that time period. I was sold simply for peace of mind knowing that the table was covered for 5 years. I have had the table for a total of 2 years now and the table finish has started to chip on the top. I filed a claim with Guardian Protection and they denied my claim saying that the damages were not accidental so it wasn't covered. Which I wasn't told that when purchasing the plan, and they never gave me a copy of the plan. Guardian told me to contact the store directly because it sounded like a manufacturers' defect. So once I spoke with that store directly they kept saying they were going to transfer me to higher ups and I would receive a call back. They rarely returned my calls, I was the one who had to keep calling to talk to anybody. I received a call from someone finally just to let me know that her supervisor was NOT going to call me back because there is nothing she could do for me, and then told me I was lucky that she was nice enough to let me know that and then proceeded to hang up on me. When I called back after that I just so happen to get ahold of the supervisor that was refusing to speak to me, Denise in NC. She was extremely disrespectful about the situation and repeated herself over and over again. She also mentioned that the damages were on me due to the furniture being in my home over a long period of time... ? The table is 2 years old and of course the furniture is in my home..? The customer service was the worst I've ever dealt with. They were rude, did not try to help me with the issue at all, and kept telling me there is nothing they could do for me. All I wanted was for them to repair their product that I paid for. I feel lied to and disappointed because Ashley Furniture does not stand behind their products and they do not care about keeping customers.

She also mentioned that the damages were on me due to the furniture being in my home over a long period of time... ? The table is 2 years old and of course the furniture is in my home..? The customer service was the worst I've ever dealt with. They were rude, did not try to help me with the issue at all, and kept telling me there is nothing they could do for me. All I wanted was for them to repair their product that I paid for. I feel lied to and disappointed because Ashley Furniture does not stand behind their products and they do not care about keeping customers.

Made a $2000 purchase several months ago. Sleeper sofa with chase and accent tables. We have received the 2 tables and the sleeper sofa. We have been waiting on the chase for months. I understand with pandemic rules that there will be a delay but why would you sell something that you don't even have an estimate on stock? 3 to 6 months is understandable for an estimated time of delivery but I'm being told that it's an open ended wait time. There is no estimate for when the company will have the stock to satisfy my order. I don't actively trash Ashley's for not satisfying our sales contract but when every person asks why my sofa is not complete I don't hide the fact that I may never see the rest of my order.
Purchased a recliner from Ashley Furniture store on July 8, 2021. First of many problems was I did not receive a receipt form the store for our purchase. The sales person became a little "snippy" when we did not purchase the extended warranty and did not buy the delivery option. ($100.00). Short story 11 weeks and have not received chair. The delivery time has been changed from 4 to 12 weeks to 4 to 16 weeks. Can you believe this. I talked to customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told it could be 72 HOURS. Can you believe this? Needless to say DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE unless you really don't need furniture.
It’s been 4 months and I still have not received my furniture. I have called customer service and even went to the store three times to find out ETA and no one knows nothing. I called customer service again today and asked for my refund and cancel the order and they keep telling me I will get a call back within 72 hours and I never do. This company is not to be trusted. I just want my refund and will take my business somewhere else. I do not recommend no one to purchase anything from this company. It’s a nightmare stay away
Nice items for a fair price for the most part
We purchased a cocktail table and 2 side tables on 4.18.21 from the Winston-Salem store. We agreed to the brochure indicating it could take approximately 4-12 weeks to arrive. Today is 9.9.21 - 20+ weeks later. We have not yet received our furniture. I have spoken to Tamika, Hydrana, Shanon, Deb and Sarah Lynn in customer service over the course of several weeks. They advised they cannot give us an eta for our product to arrive. Today, Sarah Lynn said "I would hope you would have your product before the end of the year." Not sure what other recourse we have other than canceling the order. Hope your experience has been different, but I don't recommend purchasing here as there is no guarantee of when you might receive your product.

Other than my initial salesperson who was wonderful to work with, purchasing here has been an absolute nightmare. I ordered a living room set and a bedroom set 9 weeks ago...still do not have all of it. The full bedroom set was supposed to be delivered, but they showed up with a damaged dresser and a missing headboard (so the bed couldn't be put together). The delivery people told me they reported the dresser damage and that I would receive a new one. I found out 3 weeks later, they never took care of doing that. One piece of the living room set has still not been delivered 9 weeks after purchase, though online it says if I order that piece it will be here in 2-3 weeks. When I asked the manager about this, she said that if I did order online, I would likely be told after 2-3 weeks of waiting that it would take longer. Who does business like this? I will never shop here again and I suggest you look elsewhere!! I'm not necessarily saying this is an issue with the Winston Salem store itself, but more so with Ashley Furniture as a company.

Purchased living room suite January 4th, 21 and received end of March. Recliner and right side of couch electric components not working on arrival. Attempted to contact salesperson Joanna Poole WITHOUT a response, but I had received multiple texts from Joanna PRIOR to purchasing. Finally, parts replaced by outside furniture repair last week, June 25th. Very nice and friendly when making the purchase but if something's wrong, must go through outside company to repair. Heavy metal parts that were replaced are still sitting in my living room, as i was told it was my responsibility to throw out. If financing through Ashley and Wells Fargo, you are still responsible for paying even if haven't received furniture, or late fees will occur. I am enjoying the furniture now that it's repaired 6 months after purchasing, but will not shop there again.

I went to the Ashley Furniture Store in Winston Salem, NC. I loved the layout of the store. Also the sales associates are very helpful. Kaylin was helping me and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. I came in to look at bedroom sets. She greeted me right away and answered all of my questions. I would definitely go back. Store was clean. The associate that was helping me just stood about 10 feet away and didn't get a feel for what we wanted at all. We made our purchase and the associate couldn't even get my email right and I still don't have a emailed copy of my receipt. I think that stores management team needs to train there floor sales associate on there POS systems along with sales and add on training (I would of bought more if he acted like he cared at all). Even paying with my synchrony credit card was a pain with them. I hope my delivery goes better.
Sharing compliments on the professional and courteous delivery men, Ty and Brandon. They worked hard to get my new Ashley sofa up our front steps and another 14 steps into our bonus room, which has a ceiling with shorter gable walls on the sides. They were very careful to avoid damaging the walls, although the logistics were challenging. Both represent Ashley Home Stores very well and are a credit to your company. I bought a fireplace console set from them in November. when it came the door was hanging off already broken. the delivery men left it and said that it came off the truck like that. They said that I will get another one since this one was given to me BROKEN! I spoke with a lady in the replacement department and she assured me one will be sent out asap. It has been 6 months now and all I get now are messages. Text messages telling me they are still waiting. These are sent just to keep me thinking they are trying. I am fed up and want my money back. everytime I call they give me the run around. Do Not Buy From here!!!! They will take your money and do as the please with no regards to you, the customer!

Not impressed with this place, at all. The furniture is not bad, but overpriced, especially when you consider the fact that it is manufactured locally. The sales people all work on commission and some of them have no clue about what they are selling. They are nice enough, yet uninformed. We really wanted to use Ashley to help support the local economy, but ended up going elsewhere.

Still waiting for my furniture to be assembled after ordering it in October 2020. They first were missing parts and pieces. I hate that I trusted them with my business my daughter was so excited for her new bed but she still hasn’t been able to use it because of the lack of communication with this company. Never again would not recommend. Update they sent the wrong pieces again.

A bright and clean place to look at all different kinds of furniture and not feel pressured by sales people. The staff was very helpful and got us a beautiful sectional couch.
Prepare for the Worst . . . Ordered in November and we were told the time frame for the delivery will be from 8-10 weeks max due to Covid issue that affected logistics, which we understand. Fast forward 12 weeks later, still no sign as to when items will be delivered, you will be informed the tentative date, but then when that date comes near and call again, another tentative date will be provided and it's a vicious cycle. So, when you order from this store and was told about the time frame, just be prepared for the worst case scenario, it could be 12 weeks, it could be 6 months, who knows, nobody knows, as nobody can give you the right answer. Oh, and guess what, they will offer re-selection if given a chance, which means, you wasted 3 months waiting (could be more) and then choose another item and wait again for another x months? c'mon Ashley, we know about Covid, but don't be too naive by undermining your customers' frustrations and just blame everything with Covid. . . I tell you what, if you don't have enough supply, don't display them or don't include them on your marketing gimmicks as it will just spoil customer's belief, if any, on the company.
Ashley furniture and their 5 year warranty that you purchase separately for 400 dollars is a joke. I spent 4,000 dollars on a couch coffee table two end tables with lamps 2 years ago and it's terrible quality. It is falling apart!! All cushion covers have zippers on them to remove them and clean them and 5 out of my 7 cushion covers are ripped the stitching came all undone. The zipper fell off 2 cushion covers. It gets piling all over them even the back cushion covers. When I bought the couch the man who sold it to me told me about the warranty how it covers all stains rips and damage to anything that I bought. So I filed a claim and they said it is not covers because it's not due to an accident. Do not buy ASHLEY FURNITURE. I had purchased a cheaper couch that fell apart less than a year same thing cushion covers did not hold up it was uncomfortable as well. I ordered that one online it was a couch for around 400 dollars. So I figured I'd give them another try terrible idea. Just warning people it's not worth wasting your money!!! Now I have to spend more money ordering new cushion covers which I don't want to do because it's poor quality or go buy a new couch or be stuck with a terrible looking couch.
the Winston Salem store was every helpful as well as not too bother sum when it come to me and my family walking around looking for exactly what we wanted, nothing is made to the quality it was 30 years ago so its important to make sure your investing in heavy sturdy quality furniture which I believe is what Ashley furniture sells.
I'm posting with 3 stars because in the past I have encountered very nice store associates, but that was in the past. I went looking for a new couch. It's very beautiful in the store. I walked around the store 3 times and was very interested in this one particular piece. At least 3 associates walked past me. One even went right to a couple that was right in front of me and they walked past him. He looked at me and turned and walked in a different direction. If that's the was Ashley Furniture instructs their employees to treat people then I would rather shop elsewhere.

The Winston Salem, NC location is amazing! Their prices are pretty affordable compared to other furniture stores. They have a lot of different styles of furniture and they provide excellent customer service. My sales person was Kaylin. She greeted me as soon as I walked in and assisted me right away. She was so friendly and knowledgeable she made the entire process seamless! I was able to get exactly what I needed, my furniture was delivered on time, and my furniture was not damaged. I will definitely be shopping there again.

Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. From furniture being left outside my home to furniture missing parts to the warranty and service manager getting smart with me across the phone, I’d say that’s the lowest quality customer service a person could receive. Purchased furniture and paid extra for the warranty. Now my recliner is broken, left 2 messages with no return call. Called and spoke to customer service, had to get upset because they told me I didn't have an account... they had another name on the account that had nothing to do with the purchase. Why pay for a warranty if you have to go through hoops to talk to someone.
If you purchase furniture and pay extra for a warranty you will have a difficult time getting a claim filed. Also if you make a purchase make sure the buyers name are correct on your account again making it difficult when you call and have to get angry in order for someone to find your account.
If I could give a negative rating I would, the entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. The quality is so terrible I can&'t even express. Assembled incorrectly, then broke and refused to fix anything. The rude customer service reps, told me there was nothing the would do about it and the piece was discontinued. Worst experience ever, I would highly suggest NEVER SUPPORT THIS COMPANY.
If I could give negative stars I would. We bought a pricey six piece couch back in June and was told that everything will be delivered within two months. In August we only received TWO out of the six pieces. Furthermore, we noticed a bunch of scratches and realized the piece they sent us was the one that was displayed at the store. We were upset because they told us it would take some time due to the fact that the order needed to be processed and a new sofa to be constructed. After all that, they sent us the one in store and thought we would not notice. The whole return policy should have been very straightforward but was made very complicated and they would never get back to us in time. Finally in end of October we get all our pieces and the delivery men scratch and tear the bottom of one of our pieces. They told us they would contact and send us the bottom piece and replace it for us. However, it is almost the end of November and they have not reached out to us and will not get back to us anymore. Do not waste thousands of dollars on this type of service. I understand that there is a global pandemic but this type of service and ignorance was unwarranted. Do not, I repeat do not shop here.
Be prepared to wait a long time on your furniture May take several weeks
We purchased a couple items back in August (I think) and it was explained to us then that delivery would take a long time (until yesterday, 10/20). We agreed and understand there's a lot going on (plague, lumber shortage), so fine, bring it late October. I received updates saying we were having our items delivered on time and confirmimg things were on track. Delivery day came and I received less that half the desk we ordered. Even the piece delivered is missing a drawer. Rather than adjust delivery for a later date, they delivered a thing that looks like the carcass of would be production. It's only got two legs, can't even make do with it. So they (delivery people) called and someone said they'd call back. As of almost ten a.m. the next day, no call. I called back. 0 apologies and 0 concessions. My bday is 10/22 and I took off the weekend so I could celebrate before advanced aging makes that impossible. Now I've got to sit around waiting for my arch nemesis (the phone call), and I have to wait for delivery depending on when it works for THEM. I already rearranged my entire day and work set up for them to bring everything and now I have to waste more time (while blocking the tv in the living room). Furthermore, there was nothing about "let's do a partial refund for all this inconvenience." AND I have to wait for the drawer to be shipped to me. . . Ultimately, they could have saved everyone loads of trouble by texting me there was a delay and rescheduling the whole deal. Btdubs, the slats on the bed frame (the other item, received whole) wouldn't stay down. Looked a bit warped. For the price of the stuff, the service should reflect. And if the service/items can't live up to the price, adjustment should be made.
My wife and I went in looking for some new drawers. Misty did a great job helping us. Told us what each side of the store was, she was also more then happy to answer any questions we had. She was an amazing sales person and would recommend anyone going in ask for her to help you with any of your furniture needs.

I actually feel neutral when it comes to recommending or not recommending this store. Although I will most likely still shop there in the future, I am very disappointed with my visit today. My husband and I came in looking to purchase a new mattress for our spare bedroom. Once we started looking we realized they no longer had the less expensive ones on display. Sought out a representative to be told that those are only available online. Because of that they lost a potential sale today. I refuse to simply order a mattress not having a clue as to what it feels like. This is not to say that the employees aren’t great. Because they are. I know this type of thing comes from the higher ups, not the store level associates. Like I said, I’m sure I will be shopping there again in the future. Unfortunately not for mattress’s though.

We went to Havertys and asked a couple of questions about a California king bed. They dont carry them so the sales man answered, apologized and walked away. We looked around and felt the prices were high for what was offered. We went to Ashley's and Teri introduced herself, she apologized for not having what we asked for as well, but assisted us getting a living room, dining room and another piece for the den. Alot of courtesy, quality furniture and quality salesmanship got us to drop about $6000. Were really happy

Bought my furniture June 1st. Have been called twice to reschedule delivery. Now my furniture is expected some time in August. Unless your furniture is there in the store. Avoid this place.
I ordered a bed in the end of May / beginning June with a scheduled delivery date of July the 3rd... got a call July the 1st stating that it was not gonna be there until July the 16th, but was not guaranteed.. Explained how much of an inconvenience that was for me being that it was so last minute and too late for me to make other arrangements. Was apologized to several times, and the manager said she’d do the best she could to get it there sooner. I got a call on July 10th stating it would be here on Monday the 13th ( today ..) gave a call back today because never received a time nor notification that it would be fixed... and was notified that they tried to contact me ( which I did see and immediately gave a call back ) but it wouldn’t be here now until Thursday! Ashley has given me nothing but complications since I started business with them, in addition to this I had to go to extreme measures just to even get my bed and box spring delivered. They have been a huge inconvenience and VERY unprofessional! Would not reccomend!
I recently purchased a leather couch and had it delivered to my house. After the delivery I discovered that a foot was missing leaving an exposed bolt causing scratching on my wood flooring. I contacted the sells rep. and was assured it would be taken care of??? Two weeks later I went to Ashley's spoke to a manager at which time it was explained to myself that I would be getting a call to resolve this matter. I promptly recieved a call to get the corrected product shipped to me and was notified I would recieve a phone call concerning the damage to my home. A week later still no call??? Not how to keep good paying customers....

Had furniture for less than a year and couch has broken. They sent someone out to repair it, she couldn't repair it and now I have to wait nearly a month for someone to come to try to fix it again. I paid over $1300 for this furniture and this is ridiculous. Buy your furniture elsewhere. I'm highly disappointed.

Ashley furniture is the worst place ever to get new furniture. So far our order has been pushed out every single week for almost 2 months now. Even when they have brought some of the furniture we have bought it has either come in broke, missing hardware to put it together or missing part of the actual product. Customer service has told us too bad you signed off off on the contract and they will not refund the delivery fees or let us cancel without a 20% restock fee ( even though it&'s not in stock). Today when bringing the bedroom suite they put a nice don&'t in the wall and left the bed in pieces on the floor. I warn anyone reading this to stay as far away from this place. They will over promise and under deliver.....Was able to talk with the manager tonight and he will get back with us tomorrow about a resolution. If we can get this resolved I will post a better update.

I got my bed delivered Saturday and it was broke. I don&'t understand how I had great customer service at first but when they mess up its horrible I want all my money back a total waste.
I ordered a sofa and a chest of drawers in March. I was told they were both in stock and would be delivered first wee of April. It is now May and no furniture has been delivered. I was told the last delay that the chest of drawers and half of the couch was ready but they were building the second half of the couch and it would be 2 weeks before delivery. (why are you building a couch that you ad in stock?) I was told at that time the Covid caused the delay. They called to delay shipment again and this time they said that nothing was ready and the chest would be ready end of next week and the couch end of May first of June. Again, why are you building a couch and chest that you said you had in stock in March? I should mentioned I paid in full up front. Could it be you sold my furniture to people that took you up on your financing that doesn't begin until you get your furniture where you already had my money and assumed I would patiently wait while sitting on my floor? I canceled the order and filed a complaint. Be careful if you buy in full with Ashley.
I just recently made an online purchase from Ashley Furniture and I will NEVER buy from them again! The customer service and shipping has been terrible! I ordered 2 beds and received the footboards one day, the headboards 2 days later and I am still waiting on the rails. I emailed customer service and never got a response. And when I called to get my estimated delivery date I sat on hold and was transferred to 3 different people just to get to leave my name and number for someone to call me back within 24-48 hours! Meanwhile, my son will be sleeping on his mattress on the floor until the rails come in since we had already taken his old bed apart, thinking that all the pieces were coming at one time.

Went there looking for a dining table, I picked one, then I was told that I cannot Pick it up from the store, I said, no problem that's the store policy. The sales women that was helping me was very nice, I asked her if they have a coffee table with dicount. She showed me one that was on clearence and 50% discount. I agreed to buy it. Sho took my information and we went to the cashier to pay. She asked about some one to help me loading the table to my car. She asked the first person and told him specifically about the coffee table and which one it is. Then another one came and she asked him the same thing, looks like this person just did not bother and he asked the first person to confirm that the coffee table was sold, the first person confirmed although he knew exactly which one we are talking about. Very bad to lie to customers because someone is lazy. Will never go to this store again.

From the day we ordered our bedroom suite to the day of promised delivery the sales rep kept in contact with us as to what was going on. The day of promised delivery we got bad weather so the storehouse called us to reschedule delivery on a Sunday, and on Sunday the delivery truck was there. Everything was beautiful and the delivery men were very professional. Definitely would recommend them!!!!!!!!!

They called to give us a heads up they were almost there, came in, quickly put everything together and were out within 20 minutes. A few days later we did notice one of the end tables had some areas that looked like they had been chipped and they tried to cover it up (but it looked terrible) so we stopped in at the store, explained the situation and they quickly got us scheduled for a swap out. Again they called when they were almost there and quickly swapped the end tables out.We have been so happy with the service in store, delivery, and quality of the furniture!

Customer service with Jordan Wilson was TERRIBLE on 2/23/20... he was not a friendly or helpful associate at all and even made another female employee there walk away in tears from his actions! Will not recommend this location while he is still there..

Customer service in the store is just fine when you are looking and actively purchasing. Personally not a fan of having to wait in line to finish up with a customer service rep, when I am sure the salesperson could do it from their fun little tablets. My huge problem with this store is the delivery. I purchased a dining table set and bedroom set 12/28/19. After multiple reschedules (due to damages, many repeat damages to the same piece) and unreturned phone calls, I finally got my dining table set on 2/5/20, with a couple scratches (really not a huge deal with the look we got, but come on). I am still waiting on the bedroom set. Part of it was supposed to be delivered today, but it is again... damaged. I am in the process of cancelling my order for the bedroom, but for some reason, it is a process. Also, the manager appears to not be managing- I have a feeling he/she went home early today as I called (again) at 4pm and they were not available. Not even the excuse of with a customer like this morning. Stuff happens, things get damaged- but nothing is being pushed through quicker, etc. We are consistently told every time there is an issue, that it will be another 2-3 weeks, just like when you initially order the furniture. Unacceptable.
Our experience with the store and their employees was an excellent experience especially with our sales rep Levon. This review has nothing do with them they are doing the best they can with what they have been given as an operation to work with. However dealing with Ashley Industries was The absolute worse nightmare of a purchase we have ever experienced. going into the fourth month later after making the purchase and we still don't have all of our furniture, not even half of it. Ashley Store is a separate organization than the Distribution centers and both of them are separate from "Ashley Industries". You will see why they structured their organizations this way if you deal with them. The two pieces we did receive were absolute junk. You can get the same quality of furniture for a fraction of the cost else where. Buyers beware don't do it!

February 8 2020 my wife and I visited this store looking for a sofa. Approximately 10:30 AM, we were greeted by the receptionist and told them we were looking at sofas. Early no other customers. I'd say 6 salespersons. As we walked around sitting in different sofas, at least 3 salespersons came, literally, within 2 ft of us and never uttered 1 word. Not how r u . Good morning. Anything I can help u with just let me know. NOTHING! We saw a sofa that we were possibly interested in buying. My wife and I both agreed, if these people cannot acknowledge that we were there, we surely didn't want to buy anything from them. Amazing. They must not need the money.

The salesmen are there for their sales! Of course. Don't expect honest responses. We're not mean or confrontational people, so we're really nice about everything, but we really need to learn to speak up. So. We bought a couch and loveseat. Not what we wanted at the time, but they didn't have what we wanted and no-one else in WS did either. That purchase and delivery went well. The couch is not of good quality, it has been 18 months and has greatly pilled and the fabric has pulled away from the cushion. But you can't return it and the warranty is basically a made-up thing that doesn't apply like it should even though the salesmen ensured it should. So we're stuck with that bad buy. Also- don't expect any information about said warranty or anything else except the receipt. Our couch set was to be delivered in 3 weeks, and it took 6 weeks. We bought a mattress one month ago. I hate it. Husband loves it. Delivery was a nightmare. A nightmare. We were told delivery was going to be in 1.5 weeks, it took 3.5 weeks. The men would not help move anything- I know they could get in trouble if they moved something valuable and I didn't have anything valuable to move anyway. I had a underbed roll-out container, a toddler plastic easel and a toddler desk. So I had to move those things and a few other small things while he watched me and said he would help me if he could, but policy wouldn't allow it. So I felt really uncomfortable bending down/over as he watched my backside. They didn't wear footies, so they tracked in grass, leaves, and dirt. The mattress and base didn't fit our queen bed frame evidently, so even though they're "not allowed to touch anything," he literally ripped apart our bed frame so he could put the mattress in and leave. Literally ripped it. So I had to fix the bed frame and add pieces to make it wider and longer because the mattress was too big. He said I should've bought a new bed frame from Ashleys so it would fit. They were so rude and repeated the same statements over and over again, like I was stupid and lied about the bed frame? I asked him to carry our old mattress downstairs (we already did the boxspring and hurt our backs), but he couldn't. According to the salesman, we had to buy a mattress protector FROM THEM so that we would have a warranty on our mattress and that the delivery men would put it on to ensure the cover was applied to maintain the warranty. The delivery men refused saying it wasn't his job, so I asked for help to do it before he took the picture (which he's supposed to prove that it was on, to maintain the warranty), but he refused again. So I tried to get it on by myself, which I eventually did later after he left. I have never been hateful to anybody, but by the time I signed the papers, I actually told him to leave my house. It was terrible. I called to talk to the salesman about the mattress multiple times but he would not answer his phone, return my call, or text back. I tried to call Ashley's several times over multiple days, but they wouldn't answer their phone. So I guess the only way to speak to anyone is to go in the store. This has been a terrible experience. I hate our mattress, it is so hard on my back, but I can't do anything about it until it breaks in years from now. I can't do anything about returning the hard pillow that is still in the box, never slept on, just because we brought it home. I know its the only great furniture store here, so I still encourage you to go, but spend more time with what you're buying and tell the salesman to just go somewhere else until you're ready to buy so he's not standing there watching you. And look at the warranty papers and return information instead of talking to him about it. Or JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The End.
Trying to order online is an absolute nightmare and the local store is not much better. 2 months after original order date and still no furniture. When you call all they say is they haven’t received it from the manufacturer yet.

Well we have tried to purchase from Ashley 3 different times (at this store) now we love the furniture and want to purchase but each time their is always a problem they can’t get this piece or that piece and we end up canceling the order because they can’t even tell us if they will be able to get it at all! Now I placed and order I was told in writing it will be here the 13th then a call came it will be here the 20th, call the store to check first day no one to receive truck, second day the same you will get a call I called today well our truck arrived late yesterday your item is not on it! I don’t know why we may need to reorder really come on Ashley! NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I even try to purchase from Ashley

Seems like good quality furniture. The prices were definitely good. The staff was awesome, not pushy but very helpful. Warehouse staff was nice as well and loaded my items for me. I will be shopping here again.

Best in store experience that a person could ever ask for , worst delivery team ever. They tell you one date and continue to push it back even though they know from the time if order that they won’t have the piece . I’ve been waiting for the same piece of furniture since November and and my delivery date has been pushed back 4 times since then . I just received a call stating that it was changed again and I just ordered it this past Saturday . If it changes again i will be canceling the order for a second time . I’m not sure why they place more orders than they’re able to fill .
My in-store experience was wonderful. Everyone was nice and spoke if they came within 10ft of anyone. Our salesman was knowledgeable about every piece we inquired about, I dont believe customer service could have been ”perfectly” executed anywhere else!

Horrible shopping experience at this location today. Kaitlyn (sp) was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning of my visit. I receive better customer service at most fast food restaurants than I did today at this store. Spent thousands in this store and I will not go back. If you need furniture, go somewhere else...literally anywhere else.

I went in this store with my sister to buy a Christmas present. We found exactly what we were looking for with the help of our awesome sales person Jordan Wilson! He was very knowledgeable and willing to help us with anything we asked for! He was very professional! So helpful, I brought up that my husband and I are at the closing end of building a house, that we will need furnished and wanted him to assist with that when the time came! He brought the item we found (in the very back of the store, almost unseen) to the front desk and disassembled it so we could carry it easily to the car. We were waiting to be checked out by Diane Richardson, Older Red headed lady... upon checking out she says, "Ok this item will be here January 6" I politely said I think that's the wrong order? the item I want to buy is right here. She asked my name (rudely) and I told her, she said you cant take that out of the store unless its on clearance. She then proceeds to YELL at our sales person, Jordan, and talked to him like he was a small child.. using phrases like "You know better than this" and "You should know you cant sell floor items" and went on, and on, belittling him in front of us, other customers, and other employees in the store. Like she couldn't let it go... She was not using an "inside" voice either so everybody could hear. I felt so bad for Jordan having to hear that... there are certain ways to get out what needs to be said in a professional manner. Something she is obviously lacking. Everyone makes mistakes! Nobody is perfect! I asked Diane if there was anything we could do to take this item, since it was a Christmas present, immediately she said no, but she would ask someone who could authorize the item to be taken off the floor. (the whole time acting like it was the end of the world to ask) That person had already left. I told her I was ready to pay the $85 it cost to take it home, and she told me that she wasn't worried about making a sale for only $85.00... like what i wanted to buy wasn't "good enough" to matter..... I'm not upset that we couldn't take the item home, I understand company policy, but I was not aware of this... no big deal, we can go somewhere else. We did go somewhere else and found exactly what we were looking for, at a cheaper price! As for That home furnishing I talked about earlier, Thanks to Diane, for not being worried about "only" $85.00, and being very disrespectful to a very helpful employee, we will take our business elsewhere!!

Furniture looks nice but disapointed us after just a few months. Extended warranty in my opinion is a useless way for them to upsell. No refund policy on it for 5 years if you never use it. Check out the reviews on their foam and frames. If you plan on living on your furniture, check their reviews. I wish I did.

I am yet to receive any order without major issues and lots of damaged product. If you have received proper service feel lucky. It’s a 0 stars out of 5 for me. You wouldnt believe what this company is capable of and the lack of service I’ve received. I can’t honestly believe they are still in business. So far out of all the furniture I’ve received I’ve went through 3 Headboards, 4 Footboards, set of Rails, 8 damaged nightstands!!!!!!!, damaged dresser, coffee table, 2 barstools, and a lost vanity. That’s just off the top of my head. That’s not including the hours and hours I’ve spend of my own time dealing with it plus the months I’ve spent waiting on the product.

I Oder my things in October and waited and they said it would come on November 5and they changed it I was like that fine then they put it to November 13 alright I wait and wait in a couple more day they text my mother and said “we’re sorry **** but we can deliver your things on 11/13/19 and they might bring it back to November 15 that’s what they got me thinking now..

This HomeStore doesn't honor the employee discount given at every orientation. My first visit last year I had no problems with this issue and spent a few thousand dollars, this year not only did they not want to honor the HomeStore Special on the website, but they refused to honor the employee discount given for those specific Specials. I have called and will continue to call the home offices until this is fixed. I work hard for my discount and expect to be able to use it.
If you are waiting on a Savesto Right Arm Facing in charcoal - check it carefully! Refuse delivery if it has damage! We really like the Savesto sectional couch (charcoal) *so far* and I have left a review for the product itself in a separate review on the manufacturer's site. This review is for the service we received from Ashley, which, considering the price we paid for all pieces of this couch, was sub-par to say the least. This is directly in reference to Ashley with the Winston-Salem, NC store as a representative of the company. This was a sectional couch. We waited three weeks for our initial delivery, and two additional weeks for the Right Arm Facing. When the Right Arm Facing arrived, it came *without* its seat and back cushions. Additionally, it was damaged - a hole in the back at the seam that exposed some plastic piping underneath as well as a fabric rub on the arm that would soon be a tear - this seat section had been moved around a bit before we received it. We called immediately to let Ashley know there was a hole in the back - the missing cushions were noted on the delivery manifest. We waited an additional 2-3 weeks for replacement of the Right Arm Facing - here is where it gets interesting. As the delivery team member was taking the damaged piece out, we noticed that all of the manufacturer's labeling had been removed from the bottom (those not to be removed except by the consumer) and also that there was a 3" x .25" scrape of green paint along the bottom back edge which we of course had not seen (no green paint in this house!) - it was obvious - this was a floor model, a photography studio model OR had already been removed from someone else's house. Ashley tried to pass off USED or DAMAGED furniture as new. On our last delivery, there were 2 guys standing in the driveway, not helping the one who throws the chair up onto his back and, had my husband NOT been there to assist with the dismount, the chair would have hit my concrete porch. Completely unnecessary. White glove? What does that even mean? Scraping the door jamb on the way in because one guy wants to play he-man furniture mover? Ashley, do not require your customer to lower their standards to shop in your store - raise yours instead.
Furniture is not well made and severely overpriced. I walked around for over 45 mins and no one ever offered help.
Last experience with Ashley HomeStore. Very disappointed in the experience we had with Ashley Furniture from the moment we left the store. We purchased a beautiful dining table with chairs. The experience was negative from a customers service stand point and quality, though Ashley Furniture brags about its quality to justify their inflated prices. First, they set up the delivery for a Saturday. A few days after we made the purchase, they called saying that they don’t do white glove deliveries on Saturday and we have to reschedule for the Friday before. (Even though when we initially set up the delivery, they said that Saturday is the earliest they can do.) What professionalism is this? When they don’t even know their own policy. Or are they just feeding lies to the people? We agreed to the change in delivery date and were waiting for the delivery call, three days prior to the delivery, as they mentioned. We received a call from the delivery person, when they were 10 minutes away from our house, on a Wednesday, though we had re-scheduled the delivery to a Friday (based on their mistake and incompetency). The delivery person was very rude. They just said that they are 10 minutes away and hang up the phone. I called customer service to let them know about the experience and they offered me a store credit, which I refused, because I will never buy again from Ashley Furniture. We opened the box of the table, only to find the pieces of wood holding the extension leaf broken, on both sides. Not only was the table unintelligently packaged, but it came brand new and broken. We also purchased a protection plan, so naturally, we called customer service. They could not do anything for us because it is the weekend and they need approvals and etc. They were useless and arrogant, on top of everything. The only thing they could do is to have us bring the table back to the warehouse in Mocksville and refund us the money on Monday. We would NEVER recommend Ashley HomeStore due to their poor quality and inadequate customer service. After we spend a good amount of money for the dining table and chairs, we received a broken useless dining table and paid for a protection plan that is very useless as well. If you don’t want the headache, rudeness and poor quality, search for another furniture store to find your needed furniture.

Terrible customer service! Me and wife wanted to buy a swivel armchair that we liked. Since the whole time we were in store, there were atleast 5-6 salesman who did not even acknowledge our presence and clearly they were not busy as there were hardly any customers in store. We made eye contact with some of them and still nothing. We decided to take our business elsewhere as clearly no one was interested in making a sale.

We have purchased many pieces of furniture from Ashley...you could say our house is an Ashley Furniture HomeStore home. We have have been pleased with the quality of the furniture we have purchased along with the customer service we received each time. We just had a new couch and tables delivered last week (remodeled living room) and love them!!
People are friendly and the furniture is fine. It is delivery (not the delivery drivers) that is the issue and the lack of communication obviously within the Ashley store but particularly in my case, with me. My furniture has been delivered in part. Today I received a mattress set that was originally supposed to be here about a week before. Along with the mattress I should have received a patio set that was not delivered (I bought the set on the floor so it wasn't needed to be ordered). So the rest of the furniture I bought (quite a bit) is coming next Wednesday with the exception of a coffee table and end table which will come 9/3, hopefully. I emailed my salesperson 5 days ago and called the front desk to make sure the patio furniture was coming with the mattress delivery because I felt like the communication was not good the day I bought it. I never got a return call or email from the salesperson and the office desk said they would check with manager and call back Wednesday the following day because the manager wasn't there at the time. Needless to say, I didn't hear back. In the grand scheme of things I know it is petty, I have a home and "some" furniture I'm just getting a little frustrated that sub-par is becoming the standard. I think they get their money and are well versed in the art of "I'm sorry".... let's face it, when it goes this far, all one can do is just accept it. I doubt I will buy from Ashley again.

He proceeds to tell me the increase is because of shipping/delivery which was $100. So my thought was you were going to ring me up and not even go through each price? Sub-par customer service but I continued with the order with NO shipping/delivery. I specifically state Saturday only works for me. He confirms and we go to the cashiers desk. This is where it gets worse and unprofessional. The Assistant Manager is checking me out, swipes my card, then ironically she says we cannot delivery on Saturdays if you do free shipping/delivery. I state excuse the gentleman confirm it wasn&'t an issue. She then unprofessional stated on the headset, &"So and So get you butt over here&". And proceeds to scold him for the mistake, while it was very unprofessional, I do not blame him for going back at her, she was rude! So I ask her about the delivery timeline and she explains it which is inconvenient. So she suggest I order online and talk with customer service. So I tell her to void the transaction. MAKE SURE YOU TRIPLE CHECK IF you go there. The fact that the Assistant Manager was unprofessional in front me, a customer service, give insight on how the whole operation is. Luckily, Target has the same set for slightly cheaper.

This is where it gets worse and unprofessional. The Assistant Manager is checking me out, swipes my card, then ironically she says we cannot delivery on Saturdays if you do free shipping/delivery. I state excuse the gentleman confirm it wasn't an issue. She then unprofessional stated on the headset, "So and So get you butt over here". And proceeds to scold him for the mistake, while it was very unprofessional, I do not blame him for going back at her, she was rude! So I ask her about the delivery timeline and she explains it which is inconvenient. So she suggest I order online and talk with customer service. So I tell her to void the transaction. MAKE SURE YOU TRIPLE CHECK IF you go there. The fact that the Assistant Manager was unprofessional in front me, a customer service, give insight on how the whole operation is. Luckily, Target has the same set for slightly cheaper.
The staff was helpful, respectful and courteous. I always am greeted with a smile and welcomed with anticipation,they want the biggest commission your purchases will bring.go get that franklin,grant.i think there is also a Hamilton on a large bill someone will correct me.
Best place to get furniture
I like that the furniture is quality made for a great price. My kitchen set didn't break the bank. The service was great too. The delivery guys were extremely courteous and did a fantastic job setting up the table and chairs. I am pleased with my purchase.
I will NEVER RECOMMEND OR BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN !!! This place offers furniture that is horrible quality and the management support is worthless. I spent $8000 and received a bed that broke in 46 days and have not recieved any quality support. It was a floor model; however, I wouldn't expect it to be such poor quality. Then followed by management that could care less that they represent a furniture company that sells poor quality furniture. Im literally sleeping on a broken bed and they don't call me back to work on a resolution. I'll be contacting the CEO and the Corporate office this coming week!!! Stay Aware from Ashley Furniture!! Pretty sure that's dry rot in the wood. WOW!

We had some idea of what we were looking for and after sharing our needs not 3 feet from the entrance, we were taken directly to a kiosk to enter our order. No "feel free to look around", no "holler when your ready". Only after spending 600 dollars were we allowed to wander their floor while the sales lady entered our info. Finally she flagged us down to check out and informed us our furniture wouldn't be ready for more then a month, then proceeded to bash the Ashley delivery process and online delivery estimations (2 day shipping for some of our items). All in all, we ended up finding what we wanted at a great price but left feeling as though we'd be better off browsing the floor then ordering online, which the store setup seems to prohibit.

I ordered a bed at the end of March and the scheduled delivery was May 2nd. On April 30, I got a call that the delivery had been delayed until May 23rd. I got a call this morning (May 21) that the delivery has been delayed again. I ordered a sofa from Havertys on Hanes Mall Blvd and it was delivered in the same week. Ask for Tim, he was awesome!
Yesterday I purchased a sleeper sofa, chair and a half and ottoman from Ashley HomeStore. Last night when I returned home I noticed that I was charged for a regular sofa and not a sleeper sofa. I called Ashley HomeStore first thing this morning and Diane was very helpful. She promised to return my phone call after speaking with someone. She called back and explained that the mistake was theirs and that they were ordering the sleeper sofa at no extra charge. Now that&'s great customer service, speedy handling of a mistake and a happy customer. Thank you Diane and Ashley HomeStore. I&'m so excited and can hardly wait to receive this beautiful furniture.

If there was 0 stars I'd leave 0. Walled around store 30mins only 2 other customers in there besides me. I counted 4 employees yet none said hello or welcome or can I help. Customer service goes a long way and on this day noone even offered a hello, completely rude.
EDIT: I will NEVER buy or recommend this place! They apparently don't think anything about losing a $5000 order through abysmal customer service. The salesman (Steve) was great...until we called him on his lies and excuses. Then he got nasty. The store manager (John) was just as bad with lies and evasions--he promised to call back by 4:30, when he leaves work at 3:30. If we had not cancelled the order it likely would have been June before we got the furniture they promised in April. Based on most of the reviews I have read since, our experience was far from unique. Original post for comparison: Had a good sales rep. Spent more than expected, but that wasn't really a surprise. The one surprise was that he didn't tell us we had to pay the shipping up front, but I'm not sure he knew to be honest. All in all it was a good experience.
I love the furniture I bought. Well...maybe I do. I don't think I'm actually ever going to receive my furniture. We were promised part of the order--the living room--would be delivered April 13. After trying to get in touch MANY times to find out when the dining room would be delivered, we were told the living room would be later in May and they didn't know about the dining room. This is not acceptable. If we had known they couldn't manage the order we'd have gone somewhere else. And our salesman, Steve, should be fired. He was an amazing salesman, very personable, but totally dishonest and now uncommunicative. I guess that Ashley HomeStore really doesn't mind losing little $5000 orders since they have made NO effort to make good on our complaints. It's sad that people have to resort to bad reviews and public shaming to accomplish anything with this company. I have done business with them in the past, and it was nothing like this experience. I won't take a chance on them again, that's for sure.
This could have easily been a 4 or 5 star review but the horrible customer service I received took it down. I bought a mattress and several accessories which I actually really like. I also had a good experience with the delivery portion of my purchase which I know can be difficult sometimes. During my experience the sales person said something inappropriate and offensive. I reported it to the store manager and corporate office but I heard nothing back for over 2 weeks. I did get a call back from the store manager who just apologized and said the employee was written up, but after everything I went through I felt they could have done more to make up for what had happened. I was invited by him to shop at Ashley again but I don't want to spend my money there in the future.

Remember the name FERNANDO SPAVENTA (Hanes mall ws) My husband and I are so happy with his help, he's so good at his job. If you want a good sales person you need to check him out. We had a great experience in this store as well. We were actually just taking in all our options for our Bdroom furniture. We werent planning to buy that day. After talking to Mr Spaventa we changed our minds. He made the process so easy, not alot of waiting for information with credit acceptance. I cant remember a time anything went this smoothly in my life. We got a great deal for everything. He was great with his sale explainations, im alot more educated with mattresses now for sure. I didnt know they made so many different versions for sleep comfort. We recieved a confirmation text and msg for our delivery the next wkend. They kept me updated with their time of arriving. Which was very important and appreciated because most places they give you a time line and you just need to be alert and house bound that entire day you scheduled for delivery. They sent me a text 20 mins out, and arrived on time. It was nice to see. The guys came in and informed me one of our night stands didnt come in. Not a problem At all. The guys took their time and put everything together exactly how i asked for (rearrangement). It was quick and very easy. Super nice guys. After they left i called Fernando explained what was going on with the night stand. He made his phone calls, 45 mins to an hr later i received another text saying my night stand was 30 mins from being at my house. Very happy with everything. Thank you!

Initially, I was going to give a 5* review. On February 8th I went to the Winston Salem Ashley Store and was greeted by Jordan Wilson. He was patient, gave me space when I was deciding and was very apologetic when he advised me my furniture wouldnt be delivered until March 5th. During my encounter with Jordan he told me about their warranty. I asked how much it would be he said let me check on that. He came back and told me it would be 10% of my purchase. He told me I didn't have to purchase it at that time as long as I purchased the warranty prior to delivery. Today, I called to add the warranty to my order. I was quoted by Miranda that it would be $100 before tax and $106 after tax. I told her that I was quoted 10% by Jordan. She said okay, I'll have Jordan give you a call. Jordan called shortly after and I told him about my conversation with Miranda and asked why the sudden change in pricing? He stated, maybe the pricing had went up. He asked what he quoted me and I advised him of the 10%. He then said oh maybe it was $79.99. I said that was the price for my delivery. He then changed his story to say he told me it would be "around 10% not exactly 10%." Which, again is nowhere near what it should be. The customer service that I received from Jordan this evening was not acceptable. I have yet to receive my delivery, I attempted to add this prior to delivery as I was told and regardless if pricing went up or not. What I was quoted, should be honored, that would be the 5* thing to do! *if I wasnt going to be charged 25% restocking fee to cancel my order, I would have in a heart beat!
Bought a living room set here 2.5 years ago... around $2,300 for couch, loveseat, coffee table, 2 end tables and a bunch of pillows. And this was on sale of course. The couch sunk so bad in the middle that two or more people would fall into the middle on top of each other. Tried to use the warranty and they said it couldn’t be repaired, but that that’s just the quality of the furniture.... I ended up selling the couch altogether because it hurt my back and was just frustrating. The loveseat frame split down the middle and fell to the floor. Warranty said it was irreparable and that I could have a $700 store credit and have the broken one removed, or accept a $200 cash settlement. Was hesitant to use the store credit on another piece of furniture that would expire after 2 years of minimal use. But found out I could use it on a mattress instead. Unfortunately, the warranty company was very unclear in their offers of compensation and the removal of the damaged couch was not optional. Even if you wanted to keep it (managed to put old textbooks under it to support it... kinda worked for a while) you had to give it back. I can’t say I had any particular issues with anyone at this store but the brand itself as far as quality is atrocious. Oh and all the pillows and seams on the cushions split open... coffee table scarred for no reason and looks horrid.

Ordered our Furniture in November some of it was delivered in December and had a delivery scheduled for Jan 16 but now they are saying it won’t be here till the 19 and can’t be delivered till the 23rd customer service at the home store did not seem to care why pay so much for furniture when you have to wait 2 months to get it
I found a table I wanted and ordered that day. One piece was on back order but the two chairs and table were supposed to be delivered the day after Christmas. I got a call from customer care saying the table was ready but the chairs wouldn’t be until the day after that. I said go ahead and deliver the chairs the day after but deliver the table the day after Christmas like it was planned. She said ok. I called the day after the table was delivered and to see where the chairs were and they told me the chairs were never scheduled. They then told me it would be another week and half before I could get them. I called the store and complained. I wanted to return everything at this point. The girl I spoke to was nice and offered a $100 gift card to the store. Still haven’t gotten that and it has been almost two weeks since that should have been mailed to me. At this point I wouldn’t recommend business with them again and I am still very upset that all this has taken place. I finally have all pieces but still no gift card. They could at least give me a gift card that would buy something even small at the store like a rug or something since I am still waiting and the other stuff was such a mess. Plus the day I purchased the merchandise I got a 20% off coupon in the mail. They were not willing to adjust the price and give me in store credit. I wasn’t even asking for money back just a credit towards something else. Very disappointed.
If the review was based on looks, it would have received a 5-star rating. However, the customer service is definitely not there. My fiancé and I spent a whole hour in the Winston Salem location and not a single person tried to help us or even acknowledged our presence. At first, because I work in retail, I thought maybe it was because they were busy. But then, I noticed that the sales people had time to sit and chat with each other, talk with EVERYONE else and even walk right past us and still nothing...We were looking to buy .Definitely not impressed with the level of customer service and will not be returning to purchase furniture from them! Colfax furniture has the same product with better prices anyway!!!
We purchased the Raylen line, so outstanding and beautiful. Our Sales person was Rosie Cruz ( Winston Salem, NC) and she was so helpful, professional and transparent from beginning to end. She loves her job and it shows. We had to have the items held until construction was done and the folks at the wearhouse were very helpful. The initial delivery was done by 2 managers, wonderful men! They took great care as they brought peices in and set up. The headboard was cracked and they ordered a new one that was delivered with in a week. The second delivery was done by 2 men who also did a great job, answered questions and set up the bed perfectly. We move in next week, we are very excited!
