Selina at Ashley in Avon is awesome! She greeted us right away, inquired about our shopping needs and pointed us on the right direction. She allowed us to browse without hovering or being pushy. She stopped by occasionally to check in on us and give us any additional info we might need to assist in our decision making. She was very pleasant and friendly to work with and made the entire process of buying a new sofa painless. They have a huge selection of sofas and sectionals and the customization options on the sectionals is extensive.
Nancy was very helpful in our choosing of a loveseat for our basement. The couch seems very comfortable and well made as well as affordable.

I came to the store looking to purchase a simple clock. After my arrival, the sales associate that was caressing the podium stalked me during my whole visit until I made my purchase. I just wanted a clock yet it was this whole process for buying a small thing and had to fill out all these forms and such and was a huge time waster. Sad! If you desire a simple shopping experience with minimal pushy salespeople look elsewhere.

Nice selection of items, but typically the experience isn’t great. The staff is consistently unfriendly and rude at this location, exceptionally so at our last visit. I know it's typical for the person to greet you to be your sales person, but there are often times that after they greet us, they are nowhere to be found (with relatively low shoppers). If you ask someone else for help (even though they are just sitting in the front without other customers) they have to call your person - last time it took over 15 minutes to have our person come over and verify a price. We likely will not return.
Best experience furniture shopping I’ve ever had. Natalie was so knowledgeable and helpful when picking things out. I was able to get everything I needed and had a great time in the process.
When I walked in, I was greeted by Natalie. She was very knowledgeable but wasn't pushy at all. She knew all the answers to my questions. When I come back, I'll be sure to ask for Natalie!

I visited Ashely furniture a few weeks ago looking to buy a sectional. I didn’t really have a good idea what I wanted but I knew I wanted it to be beige. Upon entering I was a little overwhelmed but ultimately experienced great customer service. Olivia helped me find this great piece I just fell in love with. We tried a lot of great options but the Lindyn couch was perfect for our new home!!

We had very excellent service at Ashley’s. Our sales team member was Lisa. She was amazing. It’s already stressful enough to have to buy furniture, but she made the process so much easier and seamless. She helped us match things that looks best together. She was very informative about their inventory. I would recommend when going to Ashley’s. All their team members are good, but Lisa really stepped up and helped us out a lot.

Chose a sofa and a recliner. Was given a price. Purchased both pieces and the next day we realized they ordered the wrong sofa. We called and spoke to the salesman and then a manager and both said although it was a mistake on their part, if I wanted the actual sofa we chose we’d have to pay another $170. We cancelled both pieces and bought them both elsewhere. Still waiting on my refund to appear in my bank account.
Just wanted to share a recent experience of couch buying at Ashley furniture. It was our first stop to look at couches. We were approached by our salesperson Liv who told us to look around and she would be available. When we were done looking we asked her for the price of the couch. We then went on our journey to look at other furniture stores. Liv stayed in contact with us. She helped us with figuring out our best deal based on what we found on line. We ended up calling her and buying the couch we wanted with delivery in about one week. Good experience!
My husband and I went to Ashley furniture on Saturday in hopes of finding end tables or coffee bar for our house. We were greeted by Tracy and she checked in on us a few times while we were there. She was super informative and answered all of our questions. We fell in love with these end tables that matched our living room perfectly. I came back on Monday and Olivia helped me finalize my purchase and even helped me get the end tables loaded into my car. Her and Tracy are absolutely kind, helpful and awesome! Thank you ladies for all your help, we truly appreciate it!

I bought A sofa and loveseat that was to be delivered April 30, it was delivered however the sofa is missing a leg, and the loveseat had a small rip on the back. I checked the sofa carefully, and the delivery guy told me that it was missing a leg. I was not happy. I did not check the loveseat very well because I was so preoccupied with the sofa that was missing a leg. I called. They said I could not return the loveseat because once it’s delivered, it is not refundable, however, they could exchange it but not until May 14. also, they had to order the part for my sofa, the part was delivered to my home after three days, however, they cannot attach the leg until May 14. I am very disappointed with Ashly furniture, I paid good money for good furniture and they delivered a damage loveseat and a sofa that is missing a leg, so from April 30 I have to have a sofa that is missing a leg, and a loveseat that is defective. They refunded me only $75 for this inconvenience. They Told me the part would not be installed on the sofa until May 14 I requested an additional discount that would have taken care of the delivery, But they refused. With all this being said. I will not be referring any of my friends or family to Ashly furniture. I would not recommend this furniture company.
I just want to say I truly loved my experience at Ashley in Avon, especially with my sales person Selina (request her when you go in for best service)!! I walked in and she was so friendly checking on what I was looking for, I needed a new adjustable base and she made the process so smooth and easy. I was in and out in like 25 minutes, she asked me about sleep concerns I’ve been dealing with and then instantly put me on the perfect base (I tried others after it really was the best fit) and it was for a great deal. The rest of the staff was bright and fun especially Erin. Thank you Ashley for great service.

Worked with Celina and had a great time with her. She was very helpful and knowledgeable with the stores merchandise. It actually was the first time I went furniture shopping and was not bombarded with a mirage of salespeople. This not only made it more enjoyable, but was much more comfortable. The only thing I wished you had more kitchen tables to pick from, as well as, sofa tables. But all in all, shopping at your store was a pleasure, as was working with Celina.

Submitted a claim to Ashley Furniture on their Party Time Recliner that is recalled due to a fire hazard. The claim has been “under review” for over 4 months now. After 2 1/2 months I called again and they “escalated it”. Now it’s another month and nobody has contacted me, so they are “reviewing it” again. Early on they told me my local Ashley Furniture would be able to have a repair person come to fix the issue. Local Ashley Furniture says it’s not their responsibility since it’s through “national Ashley Furniture”. Would not recommend buying anything from a company that puts out couches with fire hazards and then doesn’t stand by their products when you try to follow up on their recall. It can’t be that difficult or costly to just send a repair person out instead of passing around the blame.
Javier and the rest of the team made our experience a breeze. Everyone was incredibly helpful and it started from the moment we walked in the door. Highly recommend Javier and this team at the Avon location.
We needed a new mattress and went to Ashley in Avon. As soon as we walked into the store, Tracy greeted us and was so knowledgeable about mattresses. We purchased a sectional through Ashley almost a month ago under the pretenses and estimated delivery of ~1 month, give or take a week or two, as told by our sales representative. She was very nice and professional, but unfortunately not able to address and inform us accurately regarding estimated delivery, which was a huge factor in making our decision and very misleading for us. We went into the purchase aware that there are supply chain issues and longer than desirable delivery dates currently due to having a prior furniture purchase from a separate store where we waited months to receive than eventually couldn’t be fulfilled. Therefore, when making the decision to purchase this sectional we asked sales person multiple times if this particular model had any known back order issues and if there’s any possibly of it being delayed by more than a few months. They said no and it was safe for them to place estimate at time of purchase at around a month. Two weeks after purchase I called to confirm delivery estimate and was surprised to learn it was delayed by ANOTHER 2 months. We really liked couch and price was right, so we decided to wait it out. Now a month after purchase, I reached out again and learned it is now delayed for ANOTHER month. We understand that these are estimates that are given at time of purchase and not completely accurate, but 1 month is vastly different from 4 months. We are dissatisfied with the fact that estimates given at time of purchase are very inaccurate and also with lack of communication when these 2 different delays happened, having to be the one who reaches out in order to find out about delays. We feel deceived and believe now the reason the couch was on sale is because of longer than usual wait times for it to get in, which was of course not addressed at time of purchase. I would not recommend Ashley furniture if you are looking to get a couch within a reasonable amount of time.

I was on the verge of despair and madness when I arrived at Ashley Home store of Avon on March 19th. The year is two thousand and twenty four. I hadn't eaten or slept in days, but something called out to me like a whisper in the night. Upon entering the building, a gleaming light of overwhelming power brought me to my knees. "A chandelier?!" I thought. Nay, it was a sales rep by the name of Lisa. It was only through her tutelage and guidance that I was able to walk away that day with a shred of my humanity - along with a bedroom set fit for the gods. You saved my life, Lisa.

We didn't actually buy anything today while in the store but just wanted to compliment the sales associate who helped us out. Our son is autistic and was on the verge of a meltdown when we walked in. Selina recognized it almost immediately and offered him a 'squishy' toy and some tissues, what she didn't realize was it was a perfect sensory toy for him. He soon forgot what he was upset about and we were actually able to look around without the stress of a meltdown. She gave us adequate space and even let us move a display piece around to better envision what it would look like in our home. She provided us a little packet of info we could take home and go over. Experiences like this are what make the difference, we will definitely keep her info and take this particular store into consideration when shopping in the future.
Great service, clean store. Lisa specifically was the lovely team member who assisted us w our sofa and ottoman purchase. She was laid back and helpful in pricing out different options. It was a pressure free environment which my husband and I especially appreciate! We were looking at couches online from some trendy brands, but this store had a great selection and it was important to me to be able to sit on the sofa I was about to buy. I’d def recommend checking this place out and remember to ask about pricing, many items are cheaper than what the sign displays. Also, thanks for showing my toddler pics of your dogs!

Absolutely horrible place. Went to go look at furniture and they pretty much kicked us out because we weren’t planning on buying that moment. They are too worried about making their commission than letting you actually look into what furniture you like. Would not recommend. The workers only care about making their own commissions. We were genuinely looking around because we are moving into a new home soon and we were just getting hounded by workers.
The consultants we worked with were knowledgeable and very helpful. Purchasing our recliner was very easy and we had delivery in three days.

When I bought my new house 3 years ago all my furniture I purchased from Ashley Furniture. I still needed a bed for the guest room and there is no other place I would go other than Ashley Furniture. We have a new build Situation and had been to 6 other furniture stores from sandusky to north olmstead... Limited selection and terrible sales and customer service. Another store actually recommended that we go to ashley in avon, It was on our Way home so we thought we would check it out... Beautiful Store huge inventory and we met person lisa who was spectacular... She was informative Educational and gave us the space until we were ready to proceed. She gave us options that I would not have otherwise considered... They set up a delivery schedule that fit our situation perfectly... We purchased 6 pieces of furnature and a complete King size mattress set...We would definitely recommend Ashley furniture in Avon as well as Lisa Castaneda !

Purchased a dining set from Ashley on 11/15/23 and I'm still waiting on my complete set as of today 2/8/24. Our original delivery date was scheduled for 1/25/24 (we were told it was because the chairs were on backorder.) When they delivered the set on 1/25 I was surprised that they had the incorrect chairs (especially since we had to wait longer for them.) I was told by the manager Garth that the correct chairs would be sent out 1/31. Well, that day came and went and no one ever contacted or came for delivery. Called the scheduling department and they rescheduled for 2/3. The correct chairs arrived but one had a crack in the wood. Now I'm waiting until 2/13 for them to send out a new chair. I asked if they could send two just incase one was damaged but they are unable to do so. Hoping that this chair arrives in good condition because I can't wait to be done with Ashley furniture. I should have listened to prior reviews and my friends who told me to avoid this store. I will not be shopping or recommending Ashley to family/friends.

Walked right out and didn’t buy a single thing because of the sales approach in this place. My last 4 sofas have been Ashley and I was looking to get a new one today. Walked into the store and immediately sales person. Tell them that if we need help, we will ask. Try to walk away. Lady follows us throw the entire store. I couldn’t take it. I circled the store and ran out of there. If I needed your help, I would have found you. I had planned to get a complete living room set today. Went to completely different store and bought from there.
Picked out a dresser and two matching bed stands for master bedroom. Product came damaged and scratched. Waiting on sales managers response on how this will be corrected. Extremely unhappy and totally unacceptable for them to give me a box that was damaged. I figured it was packaged well enough with foam etc that there would be no subsequent damage to the dresser…I was wrong. Poorly packaged.

I bought a bedroom set in the showroom on August 4th. I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive. It was supposed to be here in early September. It took closer to 7-8 weeks. They first showed up in October with broken pieces, then came back a week later missing the pieces they needed, they’ve pushed delivery back for the missing pieces for weeks. They made my house a mess, tracking in mud and leaves. Before leaving, they wouldn’t even clean up the pieces they left here. Trash left on the floor, nuts and bolts everywhere for me to pick up and store until they returned. The communication between the store and corporate is a joke. I’d be told one thing by the store and another thing by the “managers” at corporate. Corporate didn’t want to take responsibility and told me people who purchased the product after me were getting their product before me since they had to place a replacement order. I was told it would be escalated only to later be told there is not an escalation process. I will never shop here again and will never recommend anyone to shop with Ashley. The discount I was provided was minimal compared to the fact that I slept on a mattress on the floor for months due to being lied to constantly.

Laila was awesome! She has a cool personality and down to earth. It made the sale feel like it wasnt forced and provided plenty of options. We went in to get a sectionals and Laila was able to show us different options and was very detailed with the end pricing and payments. We left the store to further discuss our options then we messaged Laila is make our final decision. She decided to come in on her day off and guide us through the process as well as provide us with additional information like the warranty, delivery, and financing options. Laila sense of humor and personality made the sale feel like a friendship rather than just feeling like an employee trying to make a sale. She even showed us some of the cool beds they have without even pressuring us to buy. Thank you for the smooth purchase. Also the rest of the staff was great. Okay experience, nothing atrocious and nothing great. I was greeted when I walked in and asked what I’m looking for and the response was basically, “we won’t have anything that works”. I took a gander anyways and did end up finding something. Rep was helpful in going over my options once I did locate something and sale price point was great. They offer 0% financing if you have decent credit, which is nice. Buyer beware that if you choose in store pickup, they will not wrap it for you even if it is not a clearance item and you’re buying it off the regular floor. This was really annoying to find out when we showed up as most other furniture stores we’ve ordered from for our new home will do this for you, and we are now having to have the item re-ordered from corporate and scheduled for a delivery from the distribution center, or find an alternate means to pick up our item as my husband is scared to damage it. Will not allow me to respond to store owners comment below - free delivery was NOT offered to us. Additionally, we called to pick up and make sure someone would be in and we were told they are “too busy” to assist us and not to come in unless we are planning on shopping.

I have bought a lot of furniture at Ashley‘s, I did have one issue where my recliner was a manual instead of power. I called them up and told them what the issue was that it should’ve been a power recliner, they said no problem, I got my recliner with the power, and they did not charge me the up charge. I was very happy and satisfied with the customer service and the delivery of my furniture. I would definitely go back to Ashley‘s furniture and buy more.

We started off just looking around by ourselves, and then when we found a sectional we liked, but wanted in another color, we went back to the front for help. Mike was again waiting for us and was ready to help immediately. He showed us a few different models similar to what we were looking for and ultimately found us the perfect sectional. Mike was very knowledgeable about the sectional we decided on and answered all of our questions. He then checked the model online, found it was cheaper, and price-matched the online price. Tracy, my sales rep, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the selection. She made the shopping process enjoyable! After the purchase, the first delivery was damaged, they returned with the wrong parts. They left my home in disarray when they left. I purchase the items in August, won’t have the bed frame until November. Customer service has been terrible on the corporate end. The store service has been great, I wish I could only work with them on this. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store (because of the corporate offices lack of empathy and help). To make things worse, they sent me a gift card that I couldn’t even use in clearance items. It had to be full price if I wanted to use the gift card. Everyone in this company is useless and was sooo very rude. I will NEVER come back to this store. Update: It gets even worse. The dresser has beetles coming through the surface and now they have to send me a new one, but won’t take the one that they gave me WITH beetles. They want me to pay to get rid of the dresser with beetles burrowing through it. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE - communication has been terrible.
Ungel... great unique name. She was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, and beyond helpful. Pricing on our couches and mattress were excellent and with the best warranty I have seen for furniture and our new mattress. Very very happy with our experience here.
My wife and I were looking for a recliner. We were greeted by Bayan. She spent over an hour with us while I sat in all of them. She is super patient and knowledgeable. She helped us look for the best options possible with price matching and she even took the time to get to know us personally. O NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!My sister and her husband went in and purchased a full bedroom set... bed, dresser, mattress, the works for thousands of dollars. Well today was delivery day.Let's start with the delivery guys were modern day Cheech and Chong stoners. They brought in the furniture and then looked utterly confused and asked "um did you order a mattress?" When Alli answered yes they said well we have your furniture and not your mattress. She asked them to check and they responded the computer system at Ashley's is down. The irony of that statement is THREE WEEKS AGO when they went in to purchase the bedroom set were told the computer systems were down then too and all orders went through one store. How on earth does it take 3 weeks to solve this problem???? It doesn't take NASA computer engineers to solve this, this is a problem easily handled by a first year computer science major.When her husband went in to complain seeing as the customer service line is non existent and no one answers was told a common they had no record of a mattress being ordered. When he stated he was so frustrated he wanted a refund he was told the standard answer "there are no refunds" he then demanded a bed, when they finally relented and gave him a temp bed which was substandard to what they purchased they didn't even help him load it into his truck, this is unacceptable. What Ashley furniture doesn't realize is they have a legally binding contract complete with an offer, consideration and acceptance which is in the purchase agreement. That agreement was breached for services not rendered. Now I'm SURE the generic response will be issued with "give us an opportunity to fix this" followed but the number to text or email. This is unacceptable. A more plausible route I suggested was a chargeback to the merchant for fraud and services not rendered.A compromised can be reached in the form of a HIGH discount. Or a full refund.Please no generic response. Take time to address issues on an individual basis

Sent me a dining room table damaged and don't level the furniture either, ordered coffee table and end tables and apparently don't assemble them anymore and were damaged, also sent me a propane fire pit that were missing pieces and do not work. Save yourself and order from somewhere else.

Sold me stuff that wasn’t in stock. Then the delivery day finally comes. They schedule a bad time and tell me I have to let them know 3 days in advance or pay $75. Even though they didn’t schedule it until 2 days in advance🤷🏻♂️. Offered to wave the $75 but next date was another 2 weeks out, without being able to give me a time. Buyer beware! Bummed by there customer service for sure.

Taking back my 5 star review. While the sales associates are great, this company does not back their products and does not guarantee customer satisfaction. I spent $10k on a bedroom set and a beautyrest mattress that I am not happy with. Corporate office tells me that they cannot return or exchange the mattress. Unacceptable! Don't waste your money here.

Although the staff at this location were amazing the actual experience outside of that is abysmal at best. First the wrong footboard was delivered and the headboard was damaged and had so many manufacturer defects it was hard to believe it was even sent out. Then the second attempt the footboard was correct but like the headboard completely damaged. Now we’ve been sleeping on the floor waiting for a replacement parts for over a month cause they won’t return furniture once it’s been attempted to be delivered. Don’t even want the bed frame at this point but we’re stuck with it. Go elsewhere for quality.
Took a long time and many stores, but we found what we were looking for there.
Went in and made the huge mistake to order 2 sofas. They where priced $400 more/unit compared to Levins. They offered to price match it and silly me, got sucked into it. They told me it will take 6 to 8 weeks to get it delivered, that I will most likely get it by November 17. It turned out that it was actually 6 to 12 weeks, a week past the estimated delivery still no sight of it and they said it looks like there will be a couple more weeks. Proceeded to cancel the order, to be told that they will charge a fee not only from the price of the sofas, but also from the price of the protection plan I purchased. Biggest regret to purchase from Ashley. Will absolutely never go back, and will never recommend it!
Waited 1 year for my bedroom set , when it was delivered it had spots that were unfinished (stain) also my wife pushed dresser against wall and the frame where the leg is located busted. She was told it was her fault for moving it alone. Dresser was empty. Garbage furniture

Classic "you get what you pay for"! We bought three rooms worth of furniture for $4,000. That was two months ago. Couch cushions already failing. Fabric that was "pet proof" has been scratched through at on point. Bedroom stuff so flimsy I'm concerned what will happen to it if/when it's moved. The price was perfect for us at the time because we needed a lot and didn't have much money. But none of this will last past three years, if we're lucky.
I had a wonderful experience with sales consultant, Lisa. I would keep coming back to this location on that alone. The delivery is the only issue I had with this service. This isn't necessarily Ashley's fault, but I had issues with the delivery the first time I tried to order a couch. They were unable to bring it up my stairs to my apartment. It is a tight fit, but I've never had an issue with any of my furniture before. They ended up having to put it back on the truck after an hour or so of them trying. I was told that since that couch couldn't be brought up my stairs based on the dimensions, my options for replacements were limited with what Ashley offers. I decided to use the credit from the couch not being deliverable to purchase a few other pieces of furniture. These items were delivered today and this was a fantastic experience. Josh and Reuben were professional, thoughtful, and kind when it came to my concerns. They believed based on what they could see, the first delivery could have been successful with more effort. They put together my lamp, cleaned up any mess the boxing had made, and had me laughing through the whole thing. Truly hoping they are the ones delivering when I place my next order.
Ordered a counter height dining room set in February. They said 12 to 16 weeks. It arrived mid July. I couldn’t pick it up until August due to other commitments. When I got it home and put it together found that the chairs were counter height but the table was table height. They then told me that they could order the counter height table but it would be another 12 to 16 weeks. That was unacceptable so I arranged a return. They said they would pick it up on August 18 but called the day before that to tell me they don’t do pickups in my area that day and would have to pick it up on 23rd. Or I could take it back myself. I called the store and they said nothing they could do. I called customer service who told me that wasn’t their department, it was scheduling. I spoke to a “manager” in scheduling who would do NOTHING to keep a customer. So I’m returning it tomorrow myself just to be done with Ashley. And I bought a similar set from Wayfair that arrived in less than a week. I will never ship at Ashley again. Buyer beware
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered an ottoman and TV stand over 6 months ago. All I have received was periodical texts saying we're working on your order. Two weeks ago I received a text stating "Good things are worth waiting for and it won't be much longer. They will reach out soon to get the delivery scheduled." Well that was certainly not true and just a tactic to continue to delay. Finally received a text today saying their still working on it. That was it for me. I informed them that if I go to Ashley Furniture online it says that the pieces were available and could be delivered within the week. So their tactics of continuing to tell people that things are delayed during these "crazy times" and due to supply problems is just BS. They have the items in stock clearly. Plus I can order the same Ashley items on Amazon and would have them within a week. I'm taking my business elsewhere and have canceled the order. No apology from them or anything to remedy the situation. Very sad as I had bought furniture earlier from them and was extremely patient with that order (I think that took 5 months). They would have had more business from me had they had better customer service. I will NOT recommend Ashley to others.

Came into Avon Ashley and bought 4 rooms of furniture totaling $25,000 in December of 2021. It's now 2 days away from May & we're still waiting. Ridiculous wait times for furniture. Everytime I call it's the same thing... we're waiting on materials. I called last week and was told that May 3rd was when they would finally be receiving furniture into the store and now today we're back to waiting on material. I will definitely not be returning to make future purchases. I guess I'm finding a new furniture store! Not happy at all and they don't seem to care that they're losing business. I'm seriously thinking I need to cancel the order & go elsewhere.
The furniture would probably be great if you ever receive it!! I ordered a table and 8 chairs 5months ago, I expected to have to wait for it, and I was ok with waiting. I had it set up for the whole set to be delivered at the same time, somebody I talked to on the phone talked me into getting the chairs delivered and told me it would speed up the delivery on my table since they want to finish out orders. Well a couple weeks after my chairs were delivered they called and said the table has been discontinued and I can reselect something out of the store! I don't want to reselect something, I want the table I have been waiting 5months for! Its sad I can go on LEVIN website right now and order the ASHLEY table that has been discontinued and Ashley cant do anything for me except tell me to pick something else out...after waiting 5MONTHS! Now I have return the chairs or spend more money at Levin to complete my set....I got rid of my other chairs what are my 5kids going to sit on if I return them? If I reselect something, I have to wait another 5months?? This is ridiculous!!
Worst experience I have ever dealt with! Ordered our bedroom set back in August 2021 and they told us it would be in by Nov. We are now approaching the end of March and have not received a single update! I have to keep calling to check on our order and the response I get back is "yeah covid" that's a horrible response and at this point I may just cancel my order if they don't have a solution. Fed up with Ashley furniture at this point and will not recommend them to anyone!
Bought a leather chair which started ripping in more then 10 places after 2 years. Told me my extended warranty only covered rips made by my cats/kids/accidents, not "product defects" and refuses to fix the chair even tho still under warranty
An update on this review, I eventually had to call corporate office in NY City , And they wasn't pleased on how this was handled, I got a New Table in 2 days . Sometimes yo have to go to the Top ..
Where do I even begin, I ordered a dining table with its chairs, piano bench, living room set, and a living room table on November 7th… as of right now, after 4 months of waiting, I received one couch and one dining room table, and yes, I mean one table without any chairs to sit on (what, do they expect me to sit on the floor).. and on top of that that table was completely scratched. When I called them, they tried to simply give me a 75 dollar coupon for the scratches, despite the fact that I already paid the full amount for everything. So my suggestion to you, is to go order at a different place unless you want scratched up furniture after four months of waiting. And to top it off, the delivery man was very unprofessional. 6 months we didn’t get the rest yet Shane on this company shame shame
The customer service here is great Susan showed us exactly what we were looking for helped us pick out a good warranty plan for our new couch and set up delivery we received a confirmation text and email a few days before with the arrival time between 9:00-12 and they guys showed up at 9:00 on the dot and we’re done moving and setting up our new couch in our basement in less than 20 mins we will be using then again
Recently went in to buy a mattress and did just that. Friendly sales lady, Raychelle, helped me and everything went smoothly. Delivery was great and within the time frame communicated originally. I don't know what the other complaints are about with this store. This is the second time i've purchased from this location in Avon, Ohio, and both went very well and the sales staff was helpful and knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Thank you!

Some nice pieces but most were not what my daughter was looking for and the wait was way too long for things to be delivered as not much in stock. Also things shown online are not available in the store in many cases. Finally, why is it that the best prices are offered only on Wednesday? I don't have the time or desire to find out I would have to buy on a certain day and not when I am there. Nice that she told us this but we were there and we're not going back as my daughter found what she wanted at Levin, without the long delivery wait and at a great price without having to go back another day. The kicker was that our salesman left Ashley to join Levin a few months ago!

I just had the best furniture shopping experience ever in my life I had to bring my daughter because I didn’t have a babysitter my son was at work one of the sales associates by the name of Abbey watched my daughter and played with her for about a hour and kept her busy because she saw me struggling and barely could shop while the other amazing sales lady by the name of Raychele helped me pick my furniture set out!!! And she gave me a great online discount I swear customer service and peoples attitude means everything she sold me $1000 later lol!!!! But we’ll worth every penny of mine!!!! Attitude means EVERYTHING!!!!!
Sold us broken IKEA furniture. Nobody said it wouldn’t be put together and we would have to build it ourself. Not only that, when we opened the first box the coffee table was damaged so I called the store we bought from.. When I called about it I was basically told 12% restocking fee and “somebody else will call you about that” no ownership of products sold or willingness to fix their mistakes. So I have to pay because you sold us damaged goods? Just a slap in the face. Completely unacceptable service quality and the manager was aloof and indifferent when I spoke with him today.I asked to come in and bring the items back (since everything is just boxed IKEA furniture) and was told “we don’t take returns you have to drive the 45 minutes back to the site you picked up from that is closed most normal weekday hours. We also had to wait at the warehouse an hour so returning will be another 2 1/2 hour process. So 5 hours for broken incomplete furniture and a “we’ll call you when we call you”. One star is too high. I can’t recommend enough looking at another store.

Due to a horribly botched delivery, I am in the possession of a worthless $300 gift card to Ashley. Stopped by our local store as we are in need of a mattress. Can't use the gift card on much of anything. There are SO many restrictions, it is insane. Not to mention even if I wanted to make a purchase, I wouldn't have the product for 12-14 weeks (supposedly.) This company is horrible. I regret spending any money with them and am reminded of my poor decision daily when I look at my overpriced, year and a half old couch which is falling apart.
Do not go to Ashley-Avon. I have had a nightmare of a delivery experience. I loved a bedroom set in the showroom and was going to buy it online. Tori, the salesperson was adamant that I buy everything in-store because of the "White Glove" delivery experience they provide for the delivery fee. She used those exact words. It has been the complete opposite as described and a 3 MONTH process ended with muddy footprints going up my white carpeted stairs and a chip in the side of the dresser. (Also discovered the deliveries are provided by a third party so Ashley can easily wash their hands if any problems may happen) Called corporate, getting $50.00 back for the damaged furniture since you cannot see it from the front? The showroom is not worth your time or energy. If you find something you like and do not mind building furniture, just buy it online or see if another company also wholesales that brand. In summary, the Avon community should have invested in a different furniture company.

Do not buy anything from this company!! Bought a mattress in March. Got it a month later with a big yellow stain in the middle. Was told a new one was ordered and we were given priority status. After 2 weeks we called to check on the status and were told that the mattress wasn't in yet and that it hadn't even been ordered until 2 weeks after we were originally told it had been. Got the mattress today so with priority status it actually took longer than the first time. Delivery was to be between 8:30 and 11:00. Got a call from the driver at 7:45 saying he was in front of my house. I told him I wasn't going to be their for about 10 minutes. He called me back and said Ashley told him to LEAVE and come back later. I pulled in less than 5 minutes after they left. As I was leaving, the truck is pulling up our street. The driver came back on his own. The delivery guys were actually the only thing in this whole joke of a purchase that I can't say anything bad about. Of course they don't actually work for Ashley. Once they get your money, you’re done. Customer service (that term is a joke in this instance) couldn't care less. The store almost never answers the phone and if you leave a call back number, the return call is from customer service in N.Y.. Do your research. Almost any review page you can find will be full of similar stories and 1 star ratings, most times in the hundreds. Buy from anywhere else, even if it means paying more.
I do not recommend going to Ashley furniture especially this location horrible customer service and didn’t follow COVID protocols. No one was wearing There mask or being sanitary.
Horrible customer service lied to about delivery time rushed through paper work just to make sale. Didn’t give me a real opportunity to look at the fine print to rush me out the door to get to there next customer to hustle.
This review is not reflective of the people I have talked to in customer service as each one has been kind, helpful, and apologetic. This review is based on the fact that I have been waiting for 24 weeks (bought our furniture in mid-November and given a 12 - 14 week timeline, which we understood when purchased) for my furniture to arrive with no end in sight. There was no indication at purchase that delivery would take the current amount of time. We had been receiving updates through text, but those stopped as well, as if to only support the fact that the time passed since purchase, was beyond ridiculous. I have been following up weekly to only receive the same answer, no estimated time can be provided. The only compensation “authorized” to provide is the delivery fee refund, which is nice, but due to the amount of time I have waited, and continue to wait, I want to be provided additional opportunities to amend the current failure of this company. If you are looking to buy furniture, anticipate at minimum, a 6 month wait. 5/12 update: called the number the store provided and was put in contact with the same customer service I have been working with. Also found out that the manufacturer is still waiting on the materials, so it has been 25 weeks and our furniture hasn’t even been made yet. Again, take great caution in ordering from Ashley and do not accept their quote on delivery lightly.

JT got me set up with everything I wanted, didn't push me to buy a single item I didn't want, got me the BEST price possible, and had me on my way in 45 minutes. If you want a quick and painless furniture shopping experience, go to Ashley in Avon and ask for JT.
My wife got a gift card. Found out it's only good for full retail price merchandise. Not the same as cash. Unfair and disappointing.
We were very patient with Ashley Furniture, but want to voice our complaints regarding recent costumer service request. Our service associate Jarod was great, he ordered us a large 3 section couch, ottoman , new kitchen table, 4 chairs, 2 bar stools, and a King size mattress. When we did not hear back from them the following week we called only to find our associate has been let go. We worked with another associate Vikter, we were supposed to get our mattress delivered within the week. When we did not hear back again we called and our original associate Jarod was rehired back and was able to help us get things delivered. Our mattress and couch came within the next weeks. The couch configuration was wrong but it worked in the room so we left it. The table was delivered 2 months later and came with no chairs. It was significantly higher than the previous tables we have. Our holiday meals were eaten at a table that basically started at our shoulders when sitting. This was upsetting as we had Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years meal with our home bubble of people only and would have liked a nice table setting. The start of delivery was October 2020 and did not complete until January 2021. Our 6 month promotional date has arrived and I called to ask for an extension to 6 months past the last date the finally piece of furniture arrived. The manager on duty was not able to accommodate. Disappointed we could not have had some extension made.

Not enough choices on lift chairs
I ordered a bedroom set back in September 2020 and here it is April and still no bedroom set delivered to my house. I luckily got my mattresses delivered in January with temp bed rails.. the guys who delivered reeked of Marijuana. I was told end of January for the rest of my set then March and then got called for a delivery date of April 10th but to only then be told sorry we can only deliver the dressers. NEVER AGAIN
The delivery guys are thieves. They stole from my home!! They need to do background checks before hiring these felons. From management to sales reps to delivery DO NOT TRUST!!! BUYERS BEWARE
Friendly lots of choices
We purchased a $2500 sectional back in November during their Black Friday special. The couch was originally upwards of $4000 but they were able to bring the "price down" to compete with an online price from Coleman Furniture I found. The only reason we bought from Ashley was because we were told it would come much faster than Coleman Furniture (i.e. within 90 days). Coleman was offering the same couch for $2100. Its the end of March now (120 days later), still have not received the couches and they do not know when they will arrive. I highly do not recommend purchasing from Ashley unless you are comfortable waiting much longer than they tell you. Items are marked up way higher than the actual price of the product. They will get you excited by "discounting" the item, but ultimately bringing the price down to the competitors. Don't get tricked into this, I recommend doing your research and shop around to get the best deal.
We bought a couch from them last year, and it took 3 months to actually get it. Then, they messed up the delivery date and gave me a $75 gift card. This gift card cannot be used on online orders. The stuff in store is way more expensive. So they just want me to spend more of my own money for an inconvenience they caused me. Yeah, no thanks. Upon moving a week ago, my movers found that the Ashley delivery guy that installed my couch improperly screwed the foot onto it and messed up the leg. Wonderful. To add to this, the sales staff at the Avon location are far too aggressive. I went in a few months ago to try to use my gift card, and left without buying anything because I felt hassled and they were rude. I don't want to shop there and be made uncomfortable. I'll probably just give this gift card to someone else, as I don't want Ashley to have any of my business.

Bought a $2500 couch from here all press board wood makes up the frame didn't even last a year cheap materials they use staples to hold the frame together super disappointed was told at the store it was custom built out of high quality materials even waited a couple months for the couch
The people there were very very friendly helpful and awesome we talked with jake Woodward they managed to knock off a extra $93.98 wasn’t expecting that was very pleased and happy

Mediocre furniture
Ordered a table in November. Was told 4-6 weeks. Fully paid still waiting for table. Called numerous times with “we will get back to you”. Went up to the Avon store where we purchased. Was told “on back order, don’t know when you will receive. They may no longer carry the item, but if we cancel the order we will be charged a cancellation fee. So table was paid for, they have no idea when or if we will ever get the table, and if we cancel we pay. What is wrong with these people and how they do business? Not acceptable.
Have purchased about $7000 worth of furniture from Ashley, over the course of the last 5 years, or so. Our last purchase experience over a year ago was not a pleasant one, due to a particular salesperson and promises not kept. Wasnt sure we wanted to go there again, but my faith has been restored. Met Patrick, a terrific young man, who helped us and made the prior bad experience, a faded memory. He went out of his way to help and I would recommend asking for him if you visit the Avon store.

My husband and I had a great experience with Patrick! He was very friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. Patrick helped us furnish our entire awkwardly-shaped living room in a way we loved and that fit our budget and our décor tastes. We will definitely be back!
So my husband and I bought a couch and dining table with chairs from them back in July of 2020. Now we received the table and chairs in October of 2020. However for the couch we still have not gotten it. We had called Monday January 18, 2021 to see where it was at. They had told us that it was in production but should be done by Tuesday. So as we had not heard from them we gave them a call on Friday and they said it is still in production. We have been calling every other week about our couch that was originally supposed to be here in October of 2020. It is now January 2021 and I'm sick of it. I just want my new couch already. I'm tired of waiting. And I'm tired of them giving us the run around. This couch and table are costing us over $5000. This is ridiculous. While I absolutely love my table and am happy with it I would really like my couch to be delivered. I'm ready to just cancel and get a different one at this point.
On august 16 2020 I ordered a bedroom set through Ashley at there Avon store. The salesperson David was very friendly and helpful My first delivery was scheduled in the beginning of November. It was cancelled by Ashley.... I stopped in the store after Black Friday and talked with David and the manger They said they were waiting in the side rails of the bed to be made and that even though they make them they couldn’t give me an estimated production date I stopped in at the end of December as was told of a a January 20 delivery date. I stopped in the store yesterday January 16 spoke with someone different found out that the side rail where still not made!!!!! AFTER 5 MONTHS !!!!!!!!! She then proceeded to inform me that Ashley doesn’t really sell California king size beds and that is the problem. They could have told me that from the start I couldn’t have been treated worse I have been sleeping on a mattress with no bed for months now. Please shop wisely everyone who reads this Take your business elsewhere
Shelly has been wonderful! She helped my daughter/son-in-law with furniture in November and my husband and I specifically went in to see Shelly today to pick out a few specific pieces. Shelly was very knowledgeable about the specific pieces we were interested in, and made the sale effortless. We definitely will be back--Thanks Shelly!! S. Hahn
What do we need to do to get our refund from canceling 5wks ago? I will be leaving horrible reviews on every platform including the BBB.HORRIBLE customer service! Nobody answers the phone, if you do actually get through you are on hold for at least 30 mins or more. Even started texting with the store manager who gave us her personal cell and each time she states "she will look into it," with no response. You have to physically go into the store to only get the run around.Delivery dates are a joke. You will receive a text to confirm a day and they don't show up! And then YOU have to call them! To only be told a different story, date, time, etc.After reading all of the complaints and issues, I don't understand how this company is still in business. I get that COVID caused many issues with companies but people were just honest and practiced communication and good customer service, I would have never canceled my order and wanted a refund which I still have not received almost 6 weeks later.

This review is NOT about the employees that work at this location but rather the customer service that Ashley Furniture gives as a whole. Bought a couch from the Avon location in August 2020 and was told it would take 9-12 weeks for delivery due to the pandemic. We agreed to these terms because we’re understanding people, however, it is now January 2021 and we have yet to hear back at all about our couch. We have reached out several times and still have not gotten an answer back. Please keep in mind we also paid for this couch in full up front as well. I’m a card holder with Ashley and unfortunately this is not my first bad experience with them. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt from the first bad experience but I can now confidently say that I will NEVER be purchasing with them again. It has been nothing but a headache and it’s not worth it. Save yourself the pain and just spent the little bit of extra cash at a place that actually cares about its customers.

Ordered a couch and loveseat in May of 2020 Loveseat arrived broken Tech came out a month later Part came in months later Tech came back out unable to fix to due to misdiagnosis New piece ordered and delivered December of 2020 ARRIVED BROKEN AGAIN Now we are waiting for another replacement and they think $75 is appropriate compensation. Worst experience and worst leadership skills ever from the corporate office to the store.
Disappointing. I purchased a recliner there last year, and the motor stopped running. The chair has a 5 year warranty, but not the motor. OH WELL!
Ashley home store has the worst customer service I have seen till date. I was being charged for a couch delivery which was never made. Had to spend 2-3 hours on call with service representative to resolve this and they were anything but professional. Major concern for me is that all their goal was to make money out of this. Also all the clauses are not customer focussed. There are better furniture stores out there but anyways I will advise read the conditions twice before you make any purchase at Ashley. I had to cancel my whole order and I am never planning to set foot in this store.

Ordered a chair and poof in August and was told that delivery would take 90 days due to COVID. I thought that was a long time but considering the closures and interruptions in manufacturing, maybe it was reasonable. Today I called to check on status of our order and was told that delivery would not be this month and they can't give me a timeframe either because they don't want to make a promise they can't keep? They already broke their ETA promise and now to tell me that they can't give me a better idea of when I will get my furniture? Seriously? This is the poorest customer service I could ever imagine. Anyone in manufacturing and business knows basics of order fulfillment, a estimate for delivery of goods should not be a mystery. I have already waited 3 months and no one can tell me if I will be waiting another 2 weeks, 2 months, or longer. At this point, Ashley Homestore are cons and thieves. Seriously.
Don’t order anything from them and don’t believe them when they give you the delivery date. Later or before the delivery in about one day, you will get a phone call from Ashley telling you (( we are sorry)) and they won’t give the new date because they don’t know when. I’m waiting my order from Ashley till now and they rescheduled my delivery date 2 times.
When I bought my furniture on June 1st, I was told I'd get it in 8 weeks... I receive a partial delivery on Sept 30th and I'm still waiting on my other furniture. My service was great when I bought it.
I ordered a desk, chair and bookshelf and had to wait 8 weeks. The day before delivery I received a text that it was being delivered on a Tuesday, which was different from the original date. Thank God I called and verified prior to changing my entire day because the text was wrong. They arrive without the bookshelf, which was not disclosed prior, they unbox the Desk and the entire bottom was cracked and falling apart. They took it back and I was told another 2 weeks. 2 weeks later they come with the desk and bookshelf and the second desk is also cracked and falling apart. They tried to give me a $75 credit and wait for a third desk but I refused and requested a refund. Here we are 13 days later, no refund. I called only to find out they never submitted for me refund of $500. I will never do business with them again! It’s sad because their sales people are quite nice but the quality is poor and their inability to rectify the situation is awful. It’s 3 months now that I am without a desk because I need that money back to purchase another desk. So irritating!!!
First we purchased an entire bedroom set, when delivered it was missing the footboard. It was suggested to us to put the mattress and box spring on the floor until it eventually showed up. Had to return the entire bed frame. We swore we’d never go back. Unfortunately, we were given a gift card and decided to use it to buy a loveseat. After the purchase we were informed it would take AT MINIMUM 8 weeks for deliver because it was being built TO ORDER in Vietnam. This was pre-pandemic mind you. We canceled the order but we were still stuck with this gift card. Begrudgingly, in early August we used it to buy a mattress and box spring. We were told to would take 6 weeks to deliver. We weren’t surprised, until the called the day before delivery and said it would be more like 8 weeks. After calling back, they then moved it back to 6 weeks only to AGAIN call the day before delivery to say they had the mattress but not the box spring. Thankfully, we went to the Original Mattress Warehouse and came home with a bed/box spring ON THE SAME DAY, imagine that. Unfortunately, we’re still stuck with this godforsaken gift card. For a furniture store, the one thing they literally cannot do is deliver furniture.
I recently worked with Lisa C. at the Ashley Home Store in Avon on a furniture and dining room purchase. As with any high-ticket purchase, I do my due diligence in working out the best deal possible. Lisa was very helpful and patient as I wavered back & forth as to which collection of furniture to purchase, even to the point where I cancelled my original purchase and reordered a higher end set a just two days later. Despite having the opportunity to reduce my total purchase cost at another Ashley store and having more selection options at a furniture warehouse store, I elected to travel back to the Avon store for my purchase solely due to the professionalism and helpfulness that Lisa displayed throughout my buying process. My next planned purchase is a bedroom set and I will return to the Avon store for the purchase. I strongly recommend the Ashley store in Avon for anyone that is looking for total value and a feeling that they are a valued customer.
If I could give my experience less than 0, I would! My salesperson failed to process my order correctly, gave me misinformation consistently, & customer service didn&'t seem too bothered by this fact. Words can not express how instantly terrible Ashley furniture is!!
After three more months of waiting I finally have all my furniture. The delivery personnel was friendly and accommodating.
Wanted to buy a floor sample. Because we have out of town company coming. Wanted to pay cash we would pick up. And the designer would not authorize us buying the floor sample. Why does a designer and not owner determine what they can and cannot sell. They had another table and end table on floor What company in this time of brick and mortar places closing would turn down cash and pick up. Secondly the sales associate said he would check if we could purchase the floor sample said he would get back to us same day. No phone call. I called him next day he said he would return my call within the next hour this was noon no phone call back until I called them at 530 pm and talked to a sales associate who apologized but all we wanted was can you or can’t you sell the floor sample. But he never called us back. So I ordered on line. Good luck keeping your job in an actual store. You’d think they would be doing everything to keep those of us that still come into the store.crazy a customer Wanting to pay cash and pick up their stuff was denied. You couldn’t replace that coffee table and end tables with anything else. Good luck to sales person you get no money now!!!

Ashley's has great prices and great options for both furniture and mattresses. The employees are super nice and helpful and don't crowd you. Overall a good experience and I left with a folder of information on the pieces I liked.

Wow... Had an Awesome Experience at the Avon Ashley Store on Nov./ 11th to look & went back on 13th to make my purchase / 2019. Special thanks to my Salesman: "John Zajac" for finding the perfect power reclining sofa to fit my needs! I will definitely see him again for more furniture in future!. If anyone needs anything I highly recommend to ask for "John Zajac" at the Avon Store! Actually when I call the store everyone has been pleasant! Now just waiting for my new sofa to be delivered in a couple weeks.... "Update": Purchased sofa in November, it is now end of July 2020 using sofa daily for 8 months now. Has been my best investment - super comfortable!!
I was ok with waiting due to covid . But went from 4-6 weeks to going past three months. If I knew this from the beginning I never would have bought anything . If you want to wait months and months for ur furniture this is the place to go . 200$ for delivery also what a joke.
I&'m simply amazed that this place is still open. The shopping experience was good but forget about actually getting what you payed for. My wife and I purchased a couch that is yet to be deliver back in March. I totally understand the Covid thing but why have someone call us and change the delivery date because they don&'t have the entire couch. Then call back before the second delivery to reschedule and still a no show. We called back a few weeks later to see if the couch was in. It&'s delayed and they said it&'s still missing a part but they can do partial delivery. Yep just what I need. A three wheeled car. What a bunch of incompetent people calling to schedule. I&'m gonna probably look for this item from another company and cancel my Ashley order. Let them keep part of the product they cant even deliver. Never again will I step foot in this place. Update....they tried to give us $100 off to wait another month. No way. Not for what we paid for. That would even touch the tax on what we purchased

I had a very pleasant experience shopping at this store. The store was very clean, and I felt safe throughout my shopping there. A sales professional, Raychele was a great help, who made my shopping easier and more affordable. Not only was she knowledgable but she was also willing to find the best deal for me. I am certain I will be asking for her advice and help next time I need another furniture.
I walked into the Avon OH store on 5/16 for the first time, and will never return. Not only that, I will make it a point to tell anyone that is shopping for furniture to not shop this store. I attempted to ask a question of 5 sales staff - only one actually answered my 'excuse me, I have a question'. That sales staff member said he could not help me, and tried twice on the radio to get somebody to assist me. No takers. Levin is just down the road, and has always been happy to take my money. Never coming back to Ashley.

I&'d give 0 stars if i could. Quality of furniture is ok, but the customer service is downright awful. Delivery and scheduling nightmares. Scheduled delivery 3 weeks out, then the day of delivery they say my furniture is damaged and can&'t deliver. And i have to wait 3 more weeks (they won&'t rush anything even if they screw up). 3 more weeks go by and its delayed again. They don&'t do anything to make it right. I thought this was a problem at Ashley Furniture in Oregon, as i had issues years ago. Then i moved to Ohio and tried them again, and this happened. Clearly a company- wide issue with delivery and customer service.
Terry is AWESOME! He was knowledgeable and very helpful - there when I needed him, but not at all pushy. I was in the store twice this week and both times he went way out of his way to make sure I got everything I needed at the best possible price. The store is laid out nicely and they offer something for every style. I highly recommend. (And be sure to ask for Terry - he's the best!!)

John M. - the Manager was wonderful. We needed a few simple accent pieces and he pointed us in the right direction quickly. A chair and a painting later - we were out of the store within 30 minutes and were completely satisfied with our purchases. He is knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations! We will see John and Michelle at the Avon location for future furnishing purchases.

The word Filth is an understatement. After spending $7,000 on a couch and promised $700 in return my mother was told that she cannot receive the store credit and can only be used on certain things. They tried to take advantage of my mom because she is foreign and doesn't speak and read fluently. The manager came and handed my mom a 35 page policy saying that if you want to argue over where the $700 can be spent (cannot be used on clearance or online store) she can go ahead an read it. Businesses like this are absolutely disgusting. An establishment should strive to deliver 110% satisfaction every. damn. time. -Especially in post-sale. If take care of your customers they'll become repeat business, treat them disrespectfully you have an everlasting negative word of mouth. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
Ordered a table and bed frame set took about 2 months for the bedframe to get delivered and when they delivered it they didn't even have the hardware to put it together so had to wait on that the table we had to wait about 3 months for it to come in then they decide to give us a gift card for our troubles ordered a side table with the gift card and had to wait about 2 months for that. The sales lady told us they would assemble the table for free because of how long it was taking well when the table finally came in the same lady said that they will not assemble it because we did not pay for that and on top of it they didn't even want to help load it into the car. Never will order from this place again or recommend it to anyone.
I find it necessary to write you this letter about our terrible experience in your Avon, Ohio store we came into the store interested in looking for a Tempurpedic mattress, myself and my wife walked in and we went to the mattress and then we where meet by a salesman, at this point I don't find it necessary to mention names but I do have all that information if you need it. We discussed several features about the mattress and we discussed the 90 night option, at no point did your salesman mention to us or explain to us the full explanation of the details of this sales promotion, we thought that this was a way for us to find out if the tempurpedic mattress was the right one for us The discussion proceeded to the point that we decided to make this purchase, as we proceeded to the front desk to finalize this major purchase(2 xl twin mattress $2499.00 a piece)again never mentioning the restrictions on this deal, and how we where LOCKED in on this deal now if we did not like the mattress THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY. We had the mattress, delivered on the 23rd of December 2019.The Mattress's came and the delivery men where great ,when they left I started to put on the sheets I noticed that they delivered TWIN mattress, I immediately called the store and they set up another delivery for the correct mattress's(the store's mistake)The mattress came and we slept on the mattress for a couple of weeks and where disappointed that this was not what we thought they where ,we just don't like the feel and comfort level on this mattress ,so we made the call to have the mattress's picked up for our refund ,well this is where the experience gets very unpleasant, the people we spoke to where very rude and smug with their replies and it seemed as if they enjoyed the fact that they continued to state that they and the salesman that failed to fully inform the customer of this promotion WHERE IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR NOT FULLY EXPLAINING THE PROMOTION, and that there was nothing they would do for us in the way of a refund of the mattress for a cash refund we had to purchase another tempurpedic mattress Myself and my wife made several calls to get ahold of a manager to address this issue and see if we could get some satisfaction, we spoke to gentlemen and he assured us that he was a manager(he gave us his name and an id number) again he claimed that this was not your store or the salesman's fault for not sharing such important stipulations to your promotion , at this point I understand why he didn't explain the promotion because we would have WALKED AWAY from this situation, what person would buy a mattress, sleep on it for a couple of weeks(or 90days) and then be told that you can't return it for a refund you must by another mattress that you didn't like sleeping on, sounds like he was trained to not be completely be honest about his sales tactic's or the store's policies .I understand that you feel this is not true of your company or your employee's but this is what I feel is the case I have been in retail management for 33 years and the companies I have worked for in the home improvement retail business would be out of business if we treated our customers they same way with disrespect and no concern for treating them properly , there is ALWAYS ANOTHER STORE IN THE SAME BUSINESS!!! and this is not the first time we have dealt with poor service from Ashely Furniture, we bought a sofa, loveseat, and a electric fireplace from your Brooklyn, Ohio store that ended in 4 deliveries, and 4 months later before we ever got the furniture we bought from you, we believe in second chances and giving a company another chance, we did this with Ashley Furniture and we did NOT GET TREATED FARILY, in this day and age where social media is a very powerful tool and word of mouth is so important to a company's sustained future, we choose to contact you to see what you would do with this information first, please feel free to contact us at the following numbers below or contact us on our email address No response back , that is how they take care of customers.

I find it necessary to write you this letter about our terrible experience in your Avon, Ohio store we came into the store interested in looking for a Tempurpedic mattress, myself and my wife walked in and we went to the mattress and then we where meet by a salesman, at this point I don&'t find it necessary to mention names but I do have all that information if you need it. We discussed several features about the mattress and we discussed the 90 night option, at no point did your salesman mention to us or explain to us the full explanation of the details of this sales promotion, we thought that this was a way for us to find out if the tempurpedic mattress was the right one for us The discussion proceeded to the point that we decided to make this purchase, as we proceeded to the front desk to finalize this major purchase(2 xl twin mattress $2499.00 a piece)again never mentioning the restrictions on this deal, and how we where LOCKED in on this deal now if we did not like the mattress THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY. We had the mattress, delivered on the 23rd of December 2019.The Mattress&'s came and the delivery men where great ,when they left I started to put on the sheets I noticed that they delivered TWIN mattress, I immediately called the store and they set up another delivery for the correct mattress&'s(the store&'s mistake)The mattress came and we slept on the mattress for a couple of weeks and where disappointed that this was not what we thought they where ,we just don&'t like the feel and comfort level on this mattress ,so we made the call to have the mattress&'s picked up for our refund ,well this is where the experience gets very unpleasant, the people we spoke to where very rude and smug with their replies and it seemed as if they enjoyed the fact that they continued to state that they and the salesman that failed to fully inform the customer of this promotion WHERE IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR NOT FULLY EXPLAINING THE PROMOTION, and that there was nothing they would do for us in the way of a refund of the mattress for a cash refund we had to purchase another tempurpedic mattress Myself and my wife made several calls to get ahold of a manager to address this issue and see if we could get some satisfaction, we spoke to gentlemen and he assured us that he was a manager(he gave us his name and an id number) again he claimed that this was not your store or the salesman&'s fault for not sharing such important stipulations to your promotion , at this point I understand why he didn&'t explain the promotion because we would have WALKED AWAY from this situation, what person would buy a mattress, sleep on it for a couple of weeks(or 90days) and then be told that you can&'t return it for a refund you must by another mattress that you didn&'t like sleeping on, sounds like he was trained to not be completely be honest about his sales tactic&'s or the store&'s policies .I understand that you feel this is not true of your company or your employee&'s but this is what I feel is the case I have been in retail management for 33 years and the companies I have worked for in the home improvement retail business would be out of business if we treated our customers they same way with disrespect and no concern for treating them properly , there is ALWAYS ANOTHER STORE IN THE SAME BUSINESS!!! and this is not the first time we have dealt with poor service from Ashely Furniture, we bought a sofa, loveseat, and a electric fireplace from your Brooklyn, Ohio store that ended in 4 deliveries, and 4 months later before we ever got the furniture we bought from you, we believe in second chances and giving a company another chance, we did this with Ashley Furniture and we did NOT GET TREATED FARILY, in this day and age where social media is a very powerful tool and word of mouth is so important to a company&'s sustained future, we choose to contact you to see what you would do with this information first, please feel free to contact us at the following numbers below or contact us on our email addressNever received any response back, obviously don&'t care about the customer. Very disappointed in them as a company, and the way theytreat their customers.
Can’t deliver on time. And as you can see, they can’t even order the correct fireplace insert for your entertainment center (we are on 11 weeks for this now)
It’s now taken 11 weeks to get a fire place insert and a coffee table (update, wrong fireplace insert today was delivered-not the right size, very shocked) They don’t deliver on time, deliver sporadically, and can’t get anything right. Except sending me my credit card bill, good at that. My kitchen remodel took less time.
This store didnt carry what we were looking for, but the staff was great. They introduced themselves and allowed us to look in peace. The store is clean and well setup.

Although my experience at the store was pleasant, they completely misled me. Over-promised and under-delivered. Then I got the runaround with corporate for almost 3 months before all the furniture I purchased was finally delivered.

DON’T BUY FROM ASHLEY!!!! While reading through many of the other comments I feel consumers should wait to review until the delivery process is complete. Of course the sales person is going to sell you something nice, that’s their job. What they don’t tell you and what many other reviews before me will also explain is, Ashley doesn’t follow through on the delivery date. My husband and I went to Ashley November 9th for the Veterans Day sale. We explained how we are moving into a home and having a party on the 14th of December and need furniture. We were promised and told up and down there would be no issue. A few days before the furniture was supposed to be delivered ( Dec 7th delivery date) we got a call from Ashley and we’re told there’s going to be a delay. Our party has come and gone and our guests had no where to sit and my husband and I have been sleeping on the floor of our new home.... not happy. Our furniture was rescheduled for December 20th (one month and 2 weeks after purchase). We just received a call from Ashley (the day before everything’s due to be delivered) that our bed is damaged and “unsafe.” We asked when a new one is going to be delivered and the response was blunt and rude... “I don’t know.” This is the 2nd time my husband has taken time off work to be disappointed by Ashley. With the other review of delivery drivers that I’ve read I refuse to be here alone during drop off. My coworker went to Ashley 1 week before my husband and I, all of her delivery’s were delayed til after the new year. We will NEVER buy from Ashley ever again. If I had time to picket the store I would. UPDATE: 12/30/2019 just received a call from the scheduling office, now the bed won’t be delivered....again!!! DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Go to Levin or Amazon! Save yourself the headache!! UPDATE: 01/07/2020 just received a call from the manufacturer that our broken footboard hasn’t even been created so they will be unable to deliver this Friday... over a month late and over 2 months after ordering! Oh and we CANT EVEN GET A REFUND!!!!

We where in Ashley furniture on 12/2/19 to purchase a bed set for our son for Christmas. We we're happy to find a nice set for a good price. We ordered it and the date for delivery was set for 12/30/19. Got a call on 12/26/19 telling us it's going to be delayed and won't be here till 1/16/20 what bothered me the most was the person on the phone seemed annoyed with me for being upset and immediately told me there's nothing they could do about it.

Originally went to Levin but was 15min early and the rep was rude so we went to Ashley. Was 10min early before store opening but rep saw us walking to door and unlocked and warmly invited us in. My 12 year old was shopping for a new bedroom set and the rep worked with her personally and professionally. I stayed back and let them work together and he didn't try pushing her into anything she didn't like or want. Would definitely recommend.
I love the furniture, lots of great options Although we were lied to by the saleslady, we did not receive our furniture on the date we were supposed to receive it although we ordered it six weeks before delivery date Our wrong information was entered into the computer by the sales lady so therefore they were unable to contact us regarding the delay. Then they give us $150 Ashley gift cards to spend at the store. Went there today to try to use it the salesman that helped us was rude. Also you're not allowed to use the Ashley gift card on clearance items So I don't think I'll be returning to the store again
DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR FURNITURE. Low quality. Terrible customer service. Awful delivery time. Well that day came and went and I had no furniture. I was told that our sales rep actually put us in for 11-26-19. I was annoyed but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I looked on the bright side that I would at least have my bedroom set before Thanksgiving(I was hosting our families). I received a call a couple days before my second scheduled delivery. I was told the fun or true was not completed with the manufacturer and I would have to wait until the 30th. I was livid!!!! They "apologized" and assured me Our furniture would be derived on 11-30-19. On this day, we both cleared our entire day to wait for our 12:30-3:30 delivery, which NEVER CAME! I just got off the phone and the supervisor was shocked and said wow there is no excuse for this.....ummmm how's Tuesday, 12-3-19. This is when I finally explained that I could not afford to take this many days off work to wait for deliveries that never come! The supervisor was unable to confirm a morning or evening time for Tuesday, 12-3-19, so now we are scheduled for 12-7-19. I advise any customers out there to shop ANYWHERE else! No deal or flashy promo they are offering is worth this hassle! I PRAY our furniture arrives on 12-7-19, if not I will be cancelling the entire order and going somewhere else. The downside is I of course opened a credit card with them so I'll just take the negative credit mark because I WILL be closing that account! Oh and you'd think my order would be close to free by now right?....WRONG!

We needed a couch / love seat and I dreaded going into a furniture store because the sales people stand at the door awaiting your arrival. We walked into ashley and a very lovely kind women approached us and gave us her name and said we should look around and she would find us and see if we needed assistance. She found us about 10 minutes later and then assisted us for the next hour and we found our perfect purchase. Thank you LIsa, you made this so easy and it was such a pleasure to work with you .
Michelle greeted us as soon as we entered the store, gave us a flyer and few details about the layout of the store. She let us browse through and kept an eye out for us to answer any questions or provide additional info. When we were thinking there would be nothing here for us, Michelle stepped in and listened to exactly what we wanted. She picked out two pieces we loved and worked to make the best deal for us. Great customer service that kept us in the store! Highly recommend Michelle!

Bought a sofa was told it's in stock then told it wasnt and the soonest it be delivered was Nov 16th. This would be 3 and a half weeks out...it was a Saturday so we agreed. We get a call today thay Sofa is still being built???? And they want to move out delivery to Monday the 23rd. No one will respond and can't reach anyone. Should gave read their Facebook reviews first. We will NEVER shop here again and I'll be disputing the charges with my credit card. UPDATE: After multiple calls with a manager they finally got my couch deliver but forgot the legs and the hardware!!! Several weeks later I got my hardware AND a 300.00 gift card for their store. 2 Weeks ago we tried to redeem it and were told that it cant be used online on their website, and it cant be used torwards ANY mattress or box spring unless its one made by them (all their brands take 12 to 14 weeks for delivery) basically the card is worthless. All the items in store were under a "promotion" and the card cant be used for anything on sale. Its a freaking joke. The sales staff is rude and aggressive. I've HAD it. I am going to contact the Ohio AG's office. How is this place still in business?
Shelly Conrad was very helpful when my family and I were shopping for a living room set last weekend. She let us take our time and "try out" a dozen or more before we ended up back at the very first one we saw. She explained our options thoroughly and gave us time to discuss amongst ourselves while she got the pricing together. I usually dread furniture stores because of the high-pressure sales people, but Shelly (and Ashley as a whole) weren't like that. She didn't steer us toward anything particular - just let us talk and try things out and think through our options. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to get our new furniture!

Bought an end table for pick-up was told when it would be in. Waited a week later still no table , called and was told they had no idea when it would arrive, was also told it could 1 or 2 months out. Told the lady if I would have known this I would have went elsewhere she hung up. Guess maybe will never get the furniture.
Furniture is nice but the guy at the store odered an extra bedroom set and forgot to order the right rails so had to wait extra time to get it. Then the refund is taking forever to get back because is "processing".... not sure why you would need 3 weeks to refund someone money when the mistake was on them. If you go there just check your order form before you leave. Not sure if this was a scam to make extra commission or what but would definitely avoid going back!

I walked into Ashley Homestead in search of a dining room table, I was a bit tired & a little irritable! Robert approached me immediately & offered help. I browsed the store not really finding anything I was interested in. Robert stepped in multiple times leading me to a most unique & different than I was imagining table! He figured the price with the discount while I was pondering upon it & actually sent a picture to my sister & was very patient while i conferred with family & a friend! Thank you Robert! This review is just on the service provided by Michelle Thompson, since we just ordered our furniture today. Arrived early afternoon on a Friday and Michelle greeted us right away. I will admit to trying to avoid her or any other sales person. Michelle gave me a quick flyer on finance options and indicated where my mom and I could find her if we had questions. Beyond a few check-ins, she let us do what we came to do, "look around". We did have an idea of what we were looking for, but weren't interested in being "sold" on anything specific. We walked the store and found a few pieces that could have worked. I was able to find Michelle quickly to ask a few questions, which she did despite juggling us and another couple. She also provided a few ideas/recommendations on things to consider regarding other pieces available in the store and use for ones that we had picked. In the end, we did purchase 4 pieces total. I appreciate Michelle's willingness to let us do our own thing, yet provide customer service when we needed it.

From the minute I walked in the door I had nothing but great service!! I was greeted with a big smile by John Miterko asking what he could help me with! I told him I had already been working with Jared and right away John led me to Jared to finish ordering everything I needed (and then some!) Jared was extremely helpful in helping me find the best couches for my basement! They were having a holiday sale so I also told him how I needed a desk and some bar stools and he led me right to what I didn’t know I really needed!! Not pushy at all and gave me ample time to think by myself about what I really wanted! I would for sure recommend John and Jared to anyone looking for new furniture! Both very knowledgeable! Everyone else who worked there was also very friendly always smiling!!

Not much in the way of variety. The quality of construction is poor for the most part. Most "wood" pieces can be had for less from places like Wayfair, or brands like Sauder or at Ikea with better quality. Assembling it ones self is worth Ashley delivery charge.
Bought a mattress and was told to pick up specifically today between 10-4. Was home from college when bought and explained I’d have to drive 2 1/2 hours home to pick it up and they understood. Went there today and the bed wasn’t there and was told it would be there in another week. Didn’t even get a phone call that anything was changed. Very dissatisfied and will not buy from here again

Was told my table set would be delivered in 3 weeks. Was called and told that it was going to be longer. I told the sales rep I wasn’t going to buy it if it would take longer. Three weeks is already extremely long to wait for a dining set. I planned a party thinking I’d have a table. For the price and hassle, I should’ve just bought the same set on Wayfair. I don’t recommend Ashley at all.

We knew what we wanted and when arriving at the set we wanted, we noticed the prices for each item was $75-$125 higher than listed on their website. Sales associates seem to be trained NOT to mention the price discrepancies unless a customer brings it up. Then they will take you to a computer and match prices. Nice... but why don&'t they just have the same prices everywhere?Our biggest issue was with their expensive delivery service... and their complete lack of understanding and resolution when they goof it up. They called the wrong phone number when they arrived at our daughter&'s apartment building, so we never knew they were there. They refused to come back anytime that day -- or even that week -- instead, offering a delivery day 8 days later. After several conversations with customer service, the final answer was that they simply couldn&'t refund the delivery fee because -- get this! -- would eventually be getting the furniture!If anyone from Ashley reads this, I&'d love a conversation with you, as I was able to get absolutely nowhere the three times I tried to resolve this.As a result, I would never patronize this company&'s stores again.

I would give 5*s because our sales rep lisa was amazing and a sweetheart. However, Michelle (I believe a a manager or supervisor) made the experience completely uncomfortable. The whole time I felt as if we were all walking in eggshells and she had this absurd demeanor about her, FAR FROM GENUINE. She repeatedly put blame on lisa due to what Michelle felt was a "mistake" on the final price we were offered. And after alllll the blaming she cast on others she offered us the deal anyway because I was prepared to walk right out the door. I will recommend ashley furniture, HOWEVER, I will not be recommending the Avon location. The consumer as well as lisa deserves better than what I witnessed that day...
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Not only do the sales people have limited knowledge but the pricing is deceptive. I had found a side table online and I went to see it in the store. When I inquired the price- it was $150-175 higher than it was online on the Ashley website. The sales person proceeds to tell me that it is normal and most people don&'t check the website first. Seems deceptive. I purchased the table and asked 3-5 times if I could cancel or return without any issue or fee. The sales person told me yes every time. They have me the ship date of nearly 2 months out from the purchase date. This is for one side table! I decided after a week and a half that I would go another route and called to cancel. After 30 min on hold, the corporate office informed me there was a cancellation fee of 12%. The store told me something incorrect to get the sale and then the office did not honor it. I recommend avoiding if you wish to keep your sanity and want to have a pleasant shopping experience that does not include being followed around by sales people.
Now the physical store and employees are great. Mary was very helpful, manager was awesome as well. The problem comes with the delivery of your items you've purchased. My original delivery date has been changed now 5 times. Still no furniture. The kicker is they will charge you 12% on a cancellation of an order. So unless you want to to pay Ashley for a complete hassle with getting your items, I suggest you shop elsewhere. So unsatisfied with Ashley Home Store Delivery Services. Hopefully, once I get my $6600 order I'll feel better about the quality of the items. So over Them
I placed my order over two months ago and STILL have not received my table! They messed this order up over four times within the last few months!!!! Not only will I be asking for a refund but I will never purchase anything from here again. Absolutely horrible customer service!

I went in looking for a faux leather sofa. The sales associate, Shelly, told me they did not have any on the floor, but I could buy one online. I said the only problem with that was I could not sit on it first. I said I'd have to think about it and come back. I was in there maybe 3 minutes. As I went to leave, she turned to her co-worker, and rolled her eyes. I actually saw it. Sorry I wasted 3 minutes of your time....
One star based on the horrific delivery experience that I'm still in the middle of. I ordered my furniture on July 27 and my sales experience was fine. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday, August 24. Farther in the future than I would have liked but I made it work. I received a call on the Monday of the delivery week advising that my dresser wasn't available. My options were to accept a partial delivery or to reschedule entirely. The kicker? They didn't and don't know when the furniture will be available. When the delivery guys arrived, they told me my mattress wasn't on the truck. WHAT? So now I'm without a dresser AND mattress with NO anticipated delivery date in sight. To account for the inconvenience of the dresser not being available on schedule, I was advised that the delivery people would bring along a gift card. Of course I received no such thing. This is a nightmare. Believe the negative reviews.
It's been 4 weeks since our order was put in, no furniture yet, they can't tell us when it will be in. We just have to wait until they call us. I could have built a couch in 4 weeks.
Salesperson I talked with hovered and was unable to match their own online price. Went to Levin and got what looks to better quality furniture from a fantastic salesperson.
My review is quite late, but we had an awesome experience buying a new sectional couch (September 2018) and recliner (January 2019) from Marc for our new house. Marc provided very friendly service, with no added pressure, as well as a wide-variety of options/suggestions, and a confident explanation of prices, delivery options and dates. We would be happy to come back to Marc for any future purchases!
Love their furniture
At first glance, you think that Ashley’s furniture is the best due to their “attention to detail” but my experience with them showed how much of a junk yard Ashley pretty much is. Our order got delayed for more than a month and when they delivered the stuff I had to return everything as everything had manufacturing defects. The guys delivering the furniture were great and all but the items themselves were all garbage. The couches were loose , the dresser’s drawer didn’t function properly alongside many paint scratches, and last but not least the mirror frame had some wood chipping out of it. My experience showed me how to pay a lot of money for a ton of junk and garbage.
Apparently, never buy anything from Ashley Furniture because they will change your delivery time multiple times with no regards to their costumers. When you try and call to talk to costumer service they know jack squat about anything and can't do anything to help. Should of went to Levin furniture !
This has been the worst experience I have had with ordering anything. The customer service is awful. I originally ordered a bed on June 16, was told it would be delivered on July 3. I got rid of my bed and had family help move furniture to accommodate the delivery. Only the mattress came. I am 6 months pregnant and sleeping on a mattress on the floor, its it July 30. They have rescheduled 4 times, meaning 4 times I have had people take time out of their day to help move furniture only for the delivery to not happen. I have reached out via phone call and on twitter and have been ignored for weeks. The managers tell me there is nothing they can do and that because I ordered the bed online it technically a different store. They claim the only higher up person is the owner and offered me a $100 gift card (which is a joke" and have since quit returning my calls. Today the delivery arrived without the foot board so it cannot be assembled. I still do not have any idea when I will get my bed, or even if I will get it.
This is a review only of my shopping experience, not furniture. The salesman I worked, Ty, was friendly and helpful. His style wasn't overly aggressive but let's just say that I got the sense they operate on commission and when it became clear I was actually going to be spending money (and not just window shop) the gratitude and appreciation began to overflow. Not a critique, simply a factual observation. That being said, I mostly enjoyed the layout of the shore and could easily navigate it. No one else in the store spoke to me much so I guess everyone is laser focused on their potential customers? Who knows. More greetings wouldn't hurt though, and would ensure customers feel like more than dollar signs. Im hopeful that my furniture will arrive as scheduled and as ordered but I will update this review if there are hiccups to the process.
They gave me a delivery date and at the same time they gave me the phone number of the shipping department to check with them if they can deliver the furniture earlier than the date they gave to us. We contacted them and they said that this is the earliest date and it can’t be done before that. Today we contacted the shipping department to find out what time we will receive the furniture and we were surprised that there is no delivery today and they postponed it till next Friday (which we are not sure it will happen) without at least calling us. We now have to cancel plans due to that date they have given us since there aren’t any furniture in the house. Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would.

I bought furniture on May 24. Was told guaranteed delivery June 18 as we had to have it by the 21. Fast forward to June 18 I get a phone call from the corporate that they cannot deliver until July 16. Cancelled the entire order. The reason you see so many good reviews here is because they pay $25.00 gift card for a good review and yo get it at the point of sale. Especially this Bee sales person who I dealt with. Now that i go over my conversation with her i can see how full of it she is. Buyers beware. They will discuss their personal matters, life stories and how great the furniture is only to get you to buy than the service stops.-UPDATE : called corporate as they asked me to do cannot get anyone on the phone in customer support center...been on hold 35 minutes

Terrible, just absolutely terrible! Sales people are fumbling, bumbling imbeciles, are lazy as hell, have no product knowledge whatsoever, are misleading, basically cannot comprehend the metric system and refuse to take accountability for their idiotic mistakes. In fact, I fear that Ashley's employees are simply unable to read. It is a real shame. A damn shame. P.S. Still waiting for the furniture I actually purchased, not what they actually delivered, 3 months later. Update: I have been in contact with the sales associate who sold me my furniture 3x (via text messages-which is unprofessional and crazy as hell). In his last communication, Paul thought good customer service meant telling me the situation was my fault and further, that I had waited too long to bring the issue to his attention. I originally called a week after the purchase date, as no one had contacted me to let me know that what I had ordered had been shipped to the warehouse and was ready for pickup. I continued to call, both the sales as well as customer service lines, every day. I am literally stymied by the entire experience. I have already sent a message to the email provided and have not heard back. That was a week ago.
You cant even look freely around the store. Had an employee following me around from the second I walked in and pestering me like a used car salesman. Then you have to wait weeks for the furniture to arrive. I just went elsewhere. Levins down the road is better.

Furniture is great and the staff is really helpful (Brigitte)! They price matched the discounted warehouse stores so I got better quality for the same discounted price. Also received 36 months interest free. Would definitely recommend Ashley’s Furniture.

She insisted we also go look at mattresses and buy one from her She continued to ignore my budget and delivered the quotes with fees up front- when my father questioned her on why she wasn't understanding our needs - she said "I'm going to walk away and let you get this all out of your system" First of all, you don't get to just walk away from customers and say that. We felt very uncomfortable. Wouldnt recommend.

Don’t buy furniture here! I originally left a 5 star review to get a gift card. A gift card I have yet to use bc their furniture is straight trash. Our king sized bed collapsed, with our then 2 yr old on it, the drawer of the king sized bed (after being replaced) has a really bad track. The track on the matching dresser is also broken. We also bought a matching couch and love seat, the love seat is broken. We had a coffee table returned bc the leg snapped off. My husband tried to fix it but saw it was broken before it was delivered and they “tried” to fix it by adding screws and nails in weird places. We’ve had this furniture about 3 years. Everything broke within a year. Bed within 3 months and coffee table the day after we got it. So disappointed with the quality of the furniture. We will NEVER buy anything from there again and when people ask about it, we tell them to go somewhere else. I can’t find the pics of the bed to add so they must be on my husbands phone.
We loved our experience at Ashley in Avon! We were very pleased with Matt's willingness to go to help us out! We are moving into a new home and he made the process of furniture shopping fun and painless when it came to our pocket! We will be back for sure!

My wife and I came in to purchase furniture for our new house that we purchased. We met Matt and he walked us through our visit. He was very knowledgeable and did not pressure us at all. He seemed like an old friend that we had not seen in years. We were highly pleased with his service and approach with us. We needed furniture for our master bedroom, living room, and dining room. We set up everything with him, and will do so in the future as well. We will be asking for him personally every time we come back to the store. We highly recommend not only Matt, but also this store as the selection was great and had many pieces that were not displayed at other locations.

Overpriced and customer service is horrible. We ordered a kitchen table from the Avon Store and when it was delivered it was damaged. It's been over three months since we purchased the table and Ashley still hasn't gotten around to ordering parts or sending someone to repair it. If you are in the market for furniture LOOK ELSEWHERE!
Sorry to say that our experience has not been good. We bought a kitchen set and all the people we have dealt with were helpful and nice. The problem is the wood is wearing off and chipping. So far the table top and one chair has gone back and now we have noticed two more chairs that will need to go back.

So if you go begin with photo 4, that’s actually the first one so 4,3,2,1*** I will never ever do business with them again. They give you the wrong information, no one is on the same page.Then when you say screw it and want to cancel, they want you to pay them 12%. If they gave the right information and acted as if they gave a damn about providing good customer service, no one would want to cancel and do business elsewhere.

She really needed to give her customers some space. They have good products and good quality too. I may return because of their wide range of beautiful collections but probably not again if I&'m being bombarded with another agent.

While looking for a mattress at this store a lady that knew nothing about mattresses assisted me. like any other store she tried to get us to buy an expensive mattress that didn't meet our needs.. All in all she was not helpful. We did however have another sales man help us and we did end up buying a mattress. When informed on the pickup date we were surprised as it was 16 days. Since we dont know much about this we blew it off. We called again a couple days latter and was told it would be in by the 8th, 3 different times. We decided to change the pickup to a delivery as it would be easier. While speaking to the department the then told us this would not be in till the 19th. Enraged we asked them to look into this further and they ended up changing this date 3 more times.. This experience was just a headache. Maybe others will not have this problem but my point is these people are not helpful and seem like they lack communication and knowledge..
horrible service my 4 year old son has had to sleep in the living room for almost 2 months because there blaming the manufacture for not sending the roll slats it's awful

My fiance and I went in today to look at mattresses. We were greated at the door then a woman approached us and talked to my fiance while I ran to the restroom. We needed a California king sized mattress due to our current bedset frame. She informed us they do not have them in store. We then repeatedly stated we wanted to still see the mattresses to figure out what type we could order and she blew us off because we would have to order online and not through them in store. She wouldn't even point us out to where they were in store to test out firmness. No problem, we browsed and made our way their ourselves. As soon as we got closer to them, she rushed over and tried to convince us to purchase a regular king sized mattress. She talked very fast and rushed us from one mattress to another, repeatedly insisting that I lie on every single mattress even after I informed her I have bad back pain and getting on/off gives me pain. She was very pushy and boarderline rude. We felt completely rushed and uncomfortable. We again told her we had to get a California king due to the frame we have and she told us to "just buy a new frame." I get she wanted to make a sale, but I have never been so uncomfortable with a sales person before like this. As soon as we said we would not be buying a new frame and again said we just needed a California king mattress, she rushed off, thank God. Her attitude through the whole experience made us not even want to stay and look at other furniture we eventually need to purchase. I doubt we will ever go back here.

My husband and I stopped in this store looking for a 2 tv stands We were &"attacked&" one step into the store. After a couple minutes of walking around she took us to a computer/tv screen to look at other options. We had a question... she was going to find an answer... so we stayed at the computer only to see her walk about 20 feet and hug a gentleman that had just walked into the store. We didn&'t think anything about it till 10 minutes later we were still standing there. Alone. We inquired about Dee and saw her across the store with the other gentleman. She came running but we were pretty much done by then. She said she didn&'t know what we were talking about and that she didn&'t know that man... guess she&'s just a very friendly associate who randomly hugs customers.
Sales people are nice and knowledgeable. Check out is fast and the ladies are very polite. Furniture is lovely and prices were extremely reasonable.

John Zajac was the BEST to work with. I had looked online and kind of narrowed down what I wanted and went into the store to check out colors/ordering process. He got me exactly what I wanted and my couch came within two weeks- it is PERFECT!! The delivery guys set everything up within 10 minutes and even took it up to my third floor apartment (with no elevator). Everything I wanted at an amazing price with the best customer service! I'm just so impressed... I will never shop for furniture anywhere else!
Gave Ashley a 1 because they did have some very nice things...actually a 4 on product: but then again no one would read this review. My husband and I were in 5 months ago. One of those quick trips to buy furniture for a flip that we sold as furnished. We were in work clothes. The sales staff was swamped; EXCEPT for what appeared to be a manager pompously walking rapidly around the sales floor. The &"suit&" assisted the sales staff occassionally, yet I think that his strong point was ignoring, as in, looking the other way, when passing the other unassisted 5 or 6 people on the sales floor. We picked out about 8k in furniture. After doing everything to get the attention of the ONLY employee not busy (aka MrSUIT) to NO AVAIL..we left. Fast forward to this past week. My elderly in laws, shopping for a couple of recliners, were treated rudely by a female manager whom, without qualifying their shopping intention, immediately pitched Ashley financing. Both of them explained that they don&'t need financing because they had cash to buy &"now&"; at which time, the manager walked away. I completely understand corporate renumeration associated with financing. I also understand the importance of taking 30 seconds to greet & understand customers. Spent time at Levin and and Value City Furniture. Upon walking in, I was politely and cleverly greeted by John Zajac. Within 30 seconds of telling him what I was looking for he took me to a beautiful gray herringbone sectional couch. After scouring the store for an additional 30 minutes, the very couch he took me to was the couch I purchased. Couldn't say better things about John! However, to no ones fault in the store, I was a bit irked when I logged online a few hours later to browse for other purchases I will make shortly and there was a 10% off coupon that I could have applied in this purchase. I'm sure I can clean this up at customer service. This aside and a very positive experience. It's a brand new, clean store with a ton of selection!

My fiance and I were in much need of a new mattress set for our bedroom. First we called Ashley's and spoke with Matt P. He answered every question without getting annoyed. Then we decided to go into the store to look at the different brands. We asked for Matt specifically and he helped us the entire way. Matt was very personable and knowledgeable and you could tell he wasnt there just to make a sale. Not only did he find us the mattress we really needed he got us a great price. I highly recommend shopping at Ashley first and asking for Matt P. Thank you Matt for giving us the bed of our dreams. We love our new furniture including our dining room table.
We could walk around the store without feeling like we were being pressured into buying something. Dave helped us and was very knowledgeable on anything we looked at. He helped us with our purchase of our love seat, sofa, and dinning room table.
Lisa Castaneda along with several coworkers went above and beyond to help me when I went in to purchase a rocker/recliner. I was in two other furniture stores this afternoon and Lisa and company has the best customer service!
DO NOT GO TO ASHLEY furniture i repeat do not go to Ashley furniture worst customer service ever! Bought 2500 dollars worth of furniture couch was torn and table scratch! Impossible to get ahold of just someone to fix it or replace it! Horrible !

I have never had such a great experience shopping before. Robin was my sales rep and she was so wonderful. She greeted me as soon as I walked into the door, she was patience and understanding. She took her time to show me around and I did not feel pressure to purchase anything. I did however spend way over my budget, but it was worth it. She found me every discount she could and she worked with me. This was about two weeks and today I received my furniture and the delivery guys were also amazing. Every penny I spend was worth it and I will drive the 30 miles again, to have the experience I had with Robin.
Matt was our salesman and he was wonderful! Gave us space to walk around and answered every question we had. Ended up buying the same set I found elsewhere but left because they were too pushy. Thank you Ashley team and Matt! Will be coming back
This store is an absolute joke and, honestly, if I could give 0 stars I would. When we initially ordered our furniture, we were told it would take approximately 2-4 weeks for pick-up (which already seemed like an excessive amount of time). After about 6 weeks and no furniture, we decided to call and see what the problem was. Apparently, they "lost" our furniture and to make up for it they were going to deliver it free of charge. However, this delivery also took its time to arrive. We ended up waiting a total of 8 weeks to receive our furniture, which was 2-4x longer than we were told. In addition, Ashley was running a promotion where you would receive a gift card if you opened up a credit line. We thought this was a great deal and figured we could just pay off the furniture ASAP. The gift card was initially supposed to be $75, but after the issue with deliver they promised to give us $125 instead. When the furniture arrived, I asked the delivery man if the total was $125 and he assured me it was. We later went to the store to check the value of it and were told it was only $75, which was the 2nd lie we received. The sales person we worked with conned us into purchasing the extended warranty. We were not told that it was through a 3rd party, but we were told that it covered animal damage, scratches, stains, etc. This seemed super appealing as accidents happen and furniture is not cheap. The 1st week into owning our dining room table we noticed how susceptible to scratches it was, as anything from a fork, salt & pepper shakers, and even a candle left scratches. This made the appearance of a brand new table look as if we had owned it for years. Seeing as I was upset, I decided to call the Customer Service about the scratches. I waited 45 minutes just to speak with someone and described what was going on. They said there was nothing they could do and transferred me to the extended warranty company. It was in this moment that I discovered the warranty was through Platinum Warranty Services. I described the same situation to the representative at Platinum Warranty and they claimed that because the furniture was still applicable for the 1st year manufacturer warranty they could not service my claim. As a result, I called back to Ashley, waited another 30 minutes, and was told I should have never been transferred to Platinum Warranty in the first place. They ended up setting up a time for a technician to come out. When the technician arrived he evaluated the table and said that Ashley would likely send somebody to repair the scratches or they would replace the table all together. However, 2-3 weeks had passed and I had not heard back about what action Ashley was going to take, so I decided to call. Again, there was a ridiculous wait time. When the representative finally answered she reviewed the files and claimed that they could no longer help me because I moved (which apparently voids the warranty and is something I WAS NEVER TOLD). She told me to call the extended warranty people once again. So there I was calling Platinum Services. This time they decided to set up a claim. They asked me if I owned an animal and if I thought they could contribute to the scratches, to both I naively replied yes. They continued to ask me questions about the extent of the damage and at the end of the conversation stated they could not repair or replace the table because they do not cover animal damages. I informed them that Ashley said otherwise when they sold me the warranty. They apologized and said they cannot control what Ashley says, but that they only cover animal urination/feces. They stated all of this was in their terms & conditions and I told them I never received a copy of this. They responded by stating they would expedite me them. For the 4th time, a few weeks later, I called Ashley and described all of the trouble I was having and they simply told me there was nothing to be done. I complained that I was misled and sold something other than what they described. I also stated that the quality of the furniture was terrible, to which the agent replied, "unfortunately, the quality of our furniture has gone down over they years but we still sell quality furniture". I suspect she thought this would make me feel better, when in fact it made me feel worse and entirely regret my decision to buy Ashley furniture. She stated she would assist me in convincing Platinum to cover the damages, so again I was transferred and told it was not covered due to the terms & conditions (which I had STILL not received). After nearly an hour, they referred me to the supervisor who said she would accept photos. I sent the photos and they reviewed them only to say they were surface scratches. The best part is the email ended up failing to send and they never received photos. If you enjoy being lied to, having non-quality furniture, and crappy warranties, then please do buy this furniture. I, however, will never buy from them again!!
Worse experience as a customer and would not reccommend them to even my worse enemy. Actually the guys at Avon were pretty nice but is everything that happened after that left me speechless. 5 missed delieries with continous excuses with one delivery even having incorrect items. Wasted so much of my valuable time. STAY AWAY
I purchased a queen sized sleep sofa & love seat set a year ago. It started looking bad after 6 mos. The cushions are not holding up well, and the couch itself is totally uncomfortable to sit on. the cushions sink into the couch horribly. This is the shabbiest and cheapest quality furniture I have ever purchased. I am angry because I spent over $2250 on livingrm furniture and its not worth it. I will NEVER, EVER buy from Ashley again. The pullout bed is broken. It will cost $60/hr for tech to come out and make the repair once the mechanism has been ordered. Horrible Horrible furniture. I'mbuying new furniture, but it won't be from Ashley Furniture.

We had a great experience at Ashley's when we bought our kiddos bedroom outfit. Lisa was very helpful and knowledgeable on showing us our options and making the best choice for us!
