Recently, I shopped at Ashley for several items of furniture for three different rooms. I needed a bedroom set, dinette set, and various pieces of living room furniture. I was shopping with my disabled brother who was moving into a a new apartment. Our saleswoman was Vicky. She was very understanding of our situation and listened to our needs and budget. Her expertise and great recommendations of what to look at made the process much easier and enjoyable than I expected. Tash, another sales rep, was also very helpful to us. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture and their staff for great service and quality furniture at a fair cost.

I don't like to leave bad reviews but this has now gone way past a bad review. As you can see in my first image, my purchase date was 11/26/25. It is 12/27/25 and I still don't have the bed I purchased. The store staff was lovely and very helpful. So wonderful! It's the company's (The Wellsville Group) customer service and headquarters that is the problem. The bed that I did receive on 12/10/25 looks lovely but there are two problems with the bed in the photos that is now in my bedroom. 1. I ordered a black bed (to go with my black nightstands that I already had.) 2. The bed as shown in my bedroom that was delivered doesn't even exist. (the color combo). I did not realize the bed was the wrong color until after it was set up. I immediately looked at my receipt to make sure I had not made the mistake in the color or the in-store salesperson did not make the mistake.... and just as I had thought - I purchased the black bed. There was no mistake there. I called the customer service and I was told I would receive an email to submit images that day. I checked all my email (including my spam folder) and there was no email. That was my first issue. Wrong bed, okay. A customer service representative saying they will do something and then do not.... that is where the problem begins with me. Next day I called back and talked to someone else (in the store), he had a wonderful customer service person reach out, get the photos, actually understand what the problem was, etc. She ordered the new (black) bed and confirmed delivery for 12/26/25. The bed arrived at it's scheduled time by the delivery truck, but the delivery people could not set up the correct bed because the bolts were stripped by the people setting up the first wrong delivery. I talked to customer service and my bed then could not be scheduled for delivery for 4 more days (supposed to be Tuesday, 12/30/25. (Now well over a month from when I went to the Ashley store in Brooklyn, OH to purchase the bed.) I talked to customer service and explained how now this will be taking 3 mornings away from my life - while I am unemployed and job searching. Crazy to me how people who literally can't do their jobs have jobs and I'm searching for one. I told customer service I would be leaving reviews regarding this situation and their response, "We expect that." Being in high end donor engagement in the past - that is not the correct response in customer service. I loved my store experience but the company "corporate" is the reason I will never give my business to any Ashley store owned by "The Wellsville Group."

Do not and I repeat on any circumstances get the Ashley credit card or any other financing options that this location provides, as well as any “life time” insurance on the products that you buy. Everyone here is trained like the sheep that they are to up sell you and make you all these promises and so on… The interest rates with the Ashley credit card are in near scammer territory and you will end up paying almost double the price of whatever you finance! Remember folks this place has to pay their bills and keep the lights on even if it’s using any tactics necessary to make a sale! Shame on Ashley and the finance company that they use with these practices and interest rates they have. We all have to make money and a living I understand that, but don’t scam and lie to people to make sales!

Big, well-lit store. It was easy to get assistance but wasn't followed around annoyingly before I asked. I went there looking for a mattress and they had a good selection. Salesman Richard was helpful and friendly. I wish I culf get my mattress sooner, but the first delivery I could get was Dec 6 (around 3 weeks), so I'm deleting a star for that reason. The furniture there wasn't my style at all, so I probably wouldn't shop for anything else there, but at least my mattress shopping is done!

I want to start by saying Tracy was absolutely awesome — this review has nothing to do with him. He was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout our experience. We originally opened an Ashley credit card about six months ago, which was the only reason we decided to shop here again. During our most recent visit, we were told that Ashley had switched banking services. However, it was never clearly explained that we would be opening a completely new line of credit. If we had known that, we would never have agreed — especially since we’re in the middle of buying a new home. Now, we have two open Ashley credit accounts, which feels extremely deceptive on the part of the representative who helped Tracy and handled everything without properly explaining it to us. When we came back to exchange our couch, Tracy once again provided excellent service and helped us select the Slate Durapella . Because he’s new, another employee stepped in to help finalize the order. That’s when everything went downhill. The manager who took over entered the wrong delivery address — even though we provided our ID and confirmed our address multiple times. The couch was almost delivered to a completely different city! Thankfully, customer care caught the mistake the day of delivery. Unfortunately, because of that error, we had to take off work a second day for the new delivery. Then, to make matters worse, when the couch finally arrived, it was the wrong color. Tracy knew we wanted gray, so again, I know this wasn’t his fault. It’s clear the issue came from management’s lack of care and attention to detail. If management is training someone and stepping in to handle an order, they should be thorough and double-check all details with the customer — especially address and product selections. Instead, I’ve been dealing with one mistake after another. When I reached out to the store manager, she was dismissive and showed zero empathy or accountability. After all the time, stress, and money this situation has cost me — and after my credit was affected — being told, “Sorry There’s nothing I can do further, call customer service” was incredibly disappointing. It’s very clear that this store’s management prioritizes credit card sign-ups and quick sales over customer satisfaction. I truly appreciate how customer care has stepped in to fix the situation, but I expected much more from the management team in-store.

I was greeted with the biggest smile and warmest welcome. I described my vision and budget to Tracy and he quickly brought my plans to life. During the process, I had a tone of questions and sometimes and at times I noticed I was asking them repeatedly. Not one time did Tracy waver from making sure I was comfortable and understood completely. I am so happy with my purchase and the quality of customer service I received. We went in to purchase a bed and were helped by Tracy, who was so helpful with all our questions and concerns. Day 1 Friday. I spoke to salesperson on what I wanted. What I wanted to spend. She had me try out no less than 6 mattresses! I told her I had a bad back. I hurt my back more. It’s Sunday now and I care barely move! Day 2 Saturday. If I hadn’t used your restroom I wouldn’t have found the one I bought. She never showed me the 2 I was considering! She needs to listen to her customers! Day 1 spent $ 1900. She forgot to put the pillows on the bill. Never told me how much your Matress cover cost!! I return this sale! This is the 1 star rating day. Day 2 spent $1300. This was more our budget! Not sure if I will be back. I previously bought all our furniture at your store. This is a 4 star rating day. She listen to what we wanted.

Way to expensive. You can buy identical items at Northeast Factory Direct on 140th and Triskett.

Check before giving your credit card for for none credit on a Koalofy option, , they will run anyway your credit without your authorization and that is a Federal issue. It happen to me and I was in the process of buying a house. So be careful of this my friend, it was not pleasant. The apology does not bring your points back or the hard inquiry on your records for a long time. Now I have a Ashley Credit Card approved that I will never use and can not cancel it since it will affect my credit more.

Daejah could not have been better. She politely and patiently walked us around and showed us multiple price breaks. I did spend more than I budgeted but she suggested getting the Ashley card which gave me 12months 0% to make it doable! She was also helpful in coordinating a rug and pillows to help us work in the floor color with the color of the couch to make it all come together!!!!! Now if the delivery goes smooth it will be a perfect experience!

I bought a table from these guys, it was supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks. In 2 weeks they brought the table to me without calling me, and said the time of delivery is 7:30- 10:30 AM. At this day, I had an emergency call from the school for my son, so I had to leave at 7:55 AM. They came at 7:59 AM. Waited 9 minutes and left without even contacting or calling me to let me know that they were there. All that they did was knock the storm door lightly twice, even if there was anybody inside no one would've heard them because they didn't know on the wood door (I saw all of this on my camera). I came back 15 minutes later, tried calling them, no one answered. They called back an hour later and said they'll come if they can and never did. I called 2h later, scheduled to go get the table myself. Drove 50 minutes to Aurora to get it, had a mini van vehicle and asked them if it would fit in it they said yes, when I get there they had it built. I asked them to unbuild it so that I can fit it in, they refused to unbuild it and help me. And the employee that was there asked me to take a couple trips back, and didn't care when I told him that I live far away (50 minutes). So now I have to waste a whole day to go get the table. When I went to the office to tell them that I don't want it anymore and I wanted to cancel my order, no one opened the door for me. They made me wait 20 minutes for no reason. I tried contacting customer service. No one helped me, so I went back to the store to tell them, they said they'll send someone to help me but it will take another week for them to do so. Terrible experience and very time wasting.

Ashley Store in Brooklyn is the best! Great selection, value and sales, and easy financing options, but above all, really great, helpful people! Most recently we stopped in to shop for a dining room table set. We were greeted by and had the pleasure of working with Andrew, who gave us a thorough and thoughtful look at all the options, discussed sizing and style, accessories - really very helpful and informative. I am very annoyed and disappointed with my experience. I bought a 3 piece sectional and was told in-store when I purchased it, that 1 piece would arrive in a few days and the rest would be the following week. My 1 piece was delivered but then they reached out and I was told the remaining pieces won't arrive for another 3 weeks and that they never had me scheduled for a 1 week delivery. The only reason I made this purchase was because I didn't want to wait a month to get a couch and was guaranteed by the sales rep it would be a 1 week delivery. I now see that was a tactic just to get the sale and am incredibly frustrated.

We were so impressed with Richard especially since he is new. He spent a lot of time with us looking at living room furniture. Then he came in the next day on his day off so that I could finalize my order. He is a great addition to your team.

Your delivery guys really didn’t do much but bring the furniture in. They barely gave me an opportunity to look at the items to see if there was any damage to any of them as I was looking they obviously took off without me being able to tell them anything, they also mumbled the fact that they wanted a tip And I had pulled out a gift card that I’ve had and he refused it. I went to look for some cash and came up with $12 and handed him the $12 and then he took the gift card as well so technically they landed up with $27 as a tip which is really disappointing that he would’ve taken it even after he complained about it.

On Black Friday we went in and purchased 2 dressers. Our sales woman told us it would be $100 for delivery and installation for both. The paperwork that she and I both signed even stated "no customer assembly required". On delivery day (December 13th)only 1 dresser was put together. When I called the store-- which I kept getting a recording that stated the store was closed for the holiday. I finally received a text message back from customer service and essentially told me that I'm wrong and that only 1 dresser was to be put together and that the dresser is one that they don't ever assemble-- even though the sales woman and my paperwork stated otherwise. So my plans to put my daughters room together that weekend were scrapped since I had to find someone to build the dresser for me. It was a very disappointing experience, especially when I've purchased A LOT from Ashley. That won't be happening again.

My first time in the store. The store is huge inside with nice merchandise especially clearance this time of the year. I went to purchase a pub table only. I found the one I wanted with a couple other items. I was very satisfied with the product and customer service!

I went in to look at mattresses. Tash was friendly, patient, and helpful. We had great conversations while I was testing out the various products. After over an hour, I made my final decision and we set everything in motion. I got accepted for their credit, and everything else was a breeze.

I have purchased many items from Ashley Furniture, and I am disappointed to find that I bought some furniture of poor quality. When I contacted the Ashley warranty department about the furniture, I was told they would look into it. The warranty department denied my claim and did not help ensure I was taken care of. I feel that as long as I was purchasing items they were helpful and as soon as I made a complaint about some furniture they were quick to make a denial in repair or replacement. I would be sure to check reviews and maybe find other places to shop especially if you’re looking for great quality! Unfortunately they have lost my business and I would not recommend family and friends to shop here!

I went in with a list of high top tables from the website that I wanted to look at. It came down to only 2 of the tables were stocked up n the store but I had pretty much made up my mind before we got there that the top table on my list was the one I would most likely purchase. After looking at a few tables the one on my list seemed to be made of the best quality materials and this was ultimately the one I purchased. The salesman was very patient and professional, one of the best furniture purchasing experiences I’ve ever had .

I purchased my bedroom set, dining room set, and bar stools at this Ashley’s in 2022 from Scott. Im currently looking for a few pieces for my newly finished basement so I went back to see what they had. Just like the first time I found the staff (Andrew this time) to be very helpful. And just like last time, I left happy with my purchase, the service, and the value. They remain my favorite furniture store.

Mile was awesome! He helped my mom and I find exactly what we were looking for while staying within our budget. We ended up saving over $1k thanks to him and we were so happy walking out with 3 high quality furniture items! He even walked us through a “sleep test” where we were able to try out different mattresses to determine which one fit our specific needs, which was very enlightening and a lot of fun! I really appreciated his knowledge of sleep hygiene and the importance of creating a comfortable environment. He was informative, genuine, and personable, which made a long day of shopping very enjoyable for my mom and I! I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and I plan to work with him again as I start to furnish my new home in the next coming months !

Scammers!! This is my first review ever but worth it. Stay away from this place. Purchased furniture in the amount of 9k by the end of 2022 and we were told no interest for 24months. THEY SET UP our monthly payment to have it paid in full within the 24 months. But 24 months later, I call to make sure our payments are almost done for them tell us they sent the agreement for only 1 year no interest (When they told us 2 years) and now we need to pay 4k for two years of interest, almost half what we paid for the furniture, because they just want to steal money. SCAMMERS!! They say something to make you buy but just scam you. Been trying to get this solved all day zero help, they don't care all they said was "I'm Sorry, but there is nothing I can do, I wasn't there when the rep talked to you." 4k and your sorry? Your sorry won't do anything. What's mind blowing is that there are other customers that went through this and left a review. What a shame. STAY AWAY. Based on other comments, don't reply to this telling me to reach out to finance because I did, and they said this is your guys's fault not them, there is nothing the bank can do but go off of what you scammers send them. They said if you guys send the agreement for 24 months which was what your store told us they can fix it. But will you guys do that? Of course not, you will just scam people and take their money.

Words can not describe how terrible they are! Do not make the mistake I did in the event they talk you into financing couches! Read your contracts with them! The way they do business is very shady! READ YOUR Contracts. We were told their was 0% for a year on couches Come to notice a year and a half later They set you up with minimum auto payments and it gets set up to a point where the products are not paid in a timely matter you will get a 22% apr tagged on your payment Have paid 4k in interest on a 8k purchase! They sign and process contracts and leave you to the wolfs! Do Not give this location nor this company business!!!!

The two times I have went here the staff have been very polite and professional. I just bought two very comfortable pillows and my salesperson, Milo, helped out amazingly! Even though I only purchased 2 pillows, the whole time felt like I was purchasing a 5 star mattress worth 4 grand; even for the littlest things the staff help with a world class attitude. Shoutout to everyone who works there; always has a positive attitude! 10/10

I had the best experience at this Ashley furniture store. When I walked in I was greeted by Scott, who helped me find an ottoman that matched my existing chair. He looked up every ottoman and took me around to each one. We compared my cushion with the Ottomans that they had at the store and he even gave me a really good deal. I ended up buying it. We will definitely be back to buy more furniture here. Scott is a great salesman.

Poor communication and follow up from the company. My original order arrival estimate was 8 weeks to arrive on August 27. My order got delayed over double that amount of time. While I understand delays from the manufacturer are out of their control- I found the lack of communication from Ashley very disappointing. My order had arrived and was sitting in the warehouse ready pick up/delivery. No one called to tell me it had finally come in. I called to check on my order because I hadn’t heard anything in a while. I cannot recommend Ashley furniture and will not be returning for any business. I recommend customers to call and check in for updates about their order regularly.

My salesman lied to me just to get my sale, I was very disappointed when they came to deliver my couch I was told from the delivery men it was a whole couch that couldn't be broken down aggravated

I rarely leave reviews but I have been raving to everybody about my experience at Ashley. I’m furnishing a new place on a time crunch, which is a nightmare for an indecisive person like me. Tashieona picked up my call and walked me through the process, entertaining my millions of questions without pressuring me to make a decision, until I decided on a couch that met all of my needs (without even seeing it in person!) Now that I’ve seen it I’m just so grateful to have worked with her - my expectations have been met and surpassed in every regard. Just writing to let Ashley know that after two phone calls with their sales representative, she has made them a lifelong customer. That’s not just a skill, it’s a gift!

Scott was very pleasant. He greeted and assisted me as soon as I walked in then allowed me time to look around alone to decide what worked for me. This was the worst experience I have had with any company. From the first time making my purchase to the screwed up delivery and then their so called management saying they wanted to help but did not follow thru on what they said. Beware!! I recently purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture during what was marketed as a VIP event, where customers were offered 40% off the entire store if you make a donation to the American Red Cross. I ended up purchasing a sectional, however, after receiving the couch and reviewing the invoice, I noticed the original price of the couch was much higher than the cost of the couch on Ashley’s website. So after applying the 40% discount, the final price I paid matched the original marked price of the couch before the event discount. I did reach out to Ashley Furniture's customer about this and was informed that the store operates independently from the Ashley Furniture website and that they couldn't rectify the pricing difference. The promise of a significant discount through a CHARITABLE DONATION turned out to be a marketing tactic rather than a genuine customer benefit. For potential buyers considering Ashley Furniture, be cautious of similar promotional events and verify pricing carefully to ensure you're truly getting the value promised.

Finally decided to go shopping for a new couch since my three year old German shepherd has taken over my couch. After previous satisfying purchases at Ashley Furniture in Brooklyn, I stopped by to see what they had to offer. Like Goldilocks I sat on every couch that caught my eye and provided my commentary. “Too soft” “not firm enough” “my colors aren’t avail” until a reclining sectional was suggested to view. Hesitant I said ok. I fell in love the first moment I sat on it. And the additional large side chair sealed the deal. The delivery of my new furniture will be the week after purchase. Isn’t that wonderful? I had the most patient salesman ever. I forget his name but he’s from Serbian descent. A very nice man. I’ll be returning for end tables!!!
