I called this store only to ask their business hours as it was a holiday (MLK) and I wanted to be sure they were open regular hours . The following day Lisa called my phone and was incredibly rude and then hung up on me. When I called the store to ask for the store manager, Lisa answered the phone and was rude again. I asked for the managers name and was told George. Then when I asked her why she was calling me and being rude, her reply was, “you called the store yesterday and I want to know when you will be coming in”. Then when I asked for the managers name again, I was told Cody and was told there was no manager or assistant manager in store. If this is how you do business, calling and harassing potential customers, I will absolutely not be buying anything for my new home from you. To be clear, I did not provide my name or phone number. I only asked what time the store was open till. Lisa got my name and number off caller ID and called me the following day. I did not ask to be contacted for any reason. Do better!

Dear Ashley Furniture Team, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my experience at your AHS COL Sawmill 40 location. The way I was treated by both the salesperson, Lisa, and the store manager was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable for a customer-focused business.Lisa walks away from me while talking to her with an attitude. I recently attempted to return a couch that had been delivered to me. While I understand there is a return policy that includes a 15% restocking fee and return shipping, I was quoted a total that did not make sense. When I asked for clarification, I was met with hostility, huffing, and a lack of transparency. At no point was a clear breakdown of the charges provided. Additionally, the staff made dismissive and condescending remarks throughout the process. The store manager questioned my reasons for the return, murmured under his breath, and repeatedly implied that I simply “didn’t like the couch.” When I asked about exchanging the couch at another store, I was initially told this was not possible, only to later discover that this information was false. This behavior was deeply unprofessional and disrespectful, making an already stressful situation much worse. I am requesting the following: 1. A clear, itemized invoice detailing the charges associated with the return. 2. Assurance that the return will be processed fairly, in line with Ashley Furniture’s stated policies. 3. Confirmation that the unprofessional behavior I experienced will be addressed appropriately to prevent this from happening to other customers. As a paying customer, I expected better treatment and clear communication.
