Nice and helpful.

I liked that I was allowed to roam through the Ashley furniture store w/o someone checking up on me every 5 minutes. I went in looking for a small couch but instead bought two very comfortable chairs. I think I will go back to Ashley furniture in the future.

Such a poor experience with this location. We purchased a sofa (payed in full) and it was scheduled for delivery last Thursday afternoon. Their crew came and stuffed the sofa through the door at an impossible angle and said that they “couldn’t fit it”.. we have an average size house door and the sofa we have currently is the same size if not bigger that Bob’s delivery got through no issues. Their crew did not attempt any other angle, no attempts to make adjustments to the sofa to fit easier.. they stopped trying after approximately 2 minutes according to my door cam. We were told we’d get a call about what we wanted to do but while i stepped away to take the call, the crew put my sofa back in their van and drove off ! I went to the store to figure out where my sofa was and they informed me if was sent back to the facility and that they could reschedule delivery.. so we rescheduled for this Monday. Today I get a call informing me the crew marked the sofa as “undeliverable”. I told the worker I still wanted the sofa I paid for and that I would put it in myself, their response was that they refunded the money without me expressing that’s what I wanted… so now we are left with no sofa despite already paying for the sofa and delivery. If you are planning to purchase a sofa I would absolutely not recommend this location. We have since repurchased our couch from another Ashley location in Huber and the manager there made the process a complete breeze!

Furniture buying is often a disappointing process of indifferent salespeople and huge prices. Our experience at Ashley Furniture was the complete opposite — all thanks to Sara Bowman. She patiently showed us our options, sketched out the furniture and possible placement in our new condo and gave us the best price possible. All of this in a very low pressure way. We went to Ashley first, then to two other stores (where we had two indifferent salespeople) and then went back to purchase over 6k of furniture. I highly recommend Sara and Ashley Furniture.

Impressed with the quality of the furniture! We got a great deal as part of an early Black Friday promotion. It was easy to purchase and delivery/setup was reasonably priced. We noticed a problem with a drawer the day of delivery; within 2 days, a technician was scheduled to come repair it. Overall, we experienced great customer service and are very happy with our new furniture!

Got my new couch here. The sales people were very nice and helpful.

I’m honestly at my breaking point with this situation. I placed my order for an ottoman back on September 13th, and somehow it has been delivered incorrectly twice now. The first time, I was told the issue would be corrected, a new one would be ordered, and that both the store manager and sales associate would personally call me. That never happened — not once. That was all the way back on September 27th. Then, after yet another wrong delivery on Friday, October 3rd, I was once again promised follow-up calls from the store manager, sales associate, and customer service representative I spoke with. And once again — no one called. The only reason I even found out what was happening was because I had to take it upon myself to call in. When I finally got through, I was told my ottoman wouldn’t even be available until October 13th, and that nothing could be done until it’s delivered incorrectly a third time. That is absolutely ridiculous. I asked for a manager and was sent straight to voicemail, with no return call. Eventually, another manager called just to tell me to “escalate the issue” — which I’ve been doing for weeks — and still offered no real solution. To make things worse, she claimed someone had already tried to call me back, which is simply not true, as I have no missed calls or voicemails. To add insult to injury, I was promised yet another phone call yesterday, and — just like every other time — that call never came either. I have also reached out directly to customer support, and haven’t heard a single thing back. At this point, your company isn’t just wasting my time — you’re taking advantage of me and my hard-earned money. I paid for a product in good faith, and instead of receiving what I ordered, I’ve been given the runaround, excuses, and outright lies. Taking someone’s money and failing to deliver the correct product, while showing no urgency or accountability, is completely unacceptable This situation has moved far past being an “inconvenience.” It’s a complete display of carelessness and unprofessionalism. I’ve been nothing but patient through this entire ordeal, but it’s reached the point of being absolutely ridiculous. All I’ve wanted is for someone to make it right, take accountability, and offer a real resolution — not keep shifting blame or making excuses. The ongoing lack of responsibility, communication, and urgency is unacceptable, and I’m done waiting. I expect this issue to be resolved & not after another mistake, not after another empty promise.

Sara was a wonderful help finding a quality and comfy full mattress and bed for my grandson’s birthday. I will be coming back in the future when I need to do more furniture shopping!

Laura was the young lady that was our sales person. She was very intelligent and had answers to our questions. She was a delight and was courteous. She knew her business and shared suggestions and ideas. We were impressed with her and we made a purchase because of her attitude and because hubby is crazy about chair we purchased, Good job. Stopped in when store opened today - no other customers in store. Asked a simple question trying to match a drawer to bed frames. The sales rep acted completely annoyed and barely spoke to us. Rude and very unprofessional. We’ll be choosing another Ashley store to deal with in the future due to poor customer service from this sales associate.

I absolutely hate buying furniture - maybe even more than buying a used car. After a long day of furniture salespeople following us through the store like a lost puppy and putting the tweed-jacket salesperson moves on us, our visit to Ashley at the Dayton Mall was a breath of fresh air. Sara Bowman helped us with a new sectional, and made the process super easy. She knew her stuff, helped us make an informed decision and did not pressure us at all. Super happy with our purchase and the entire experience. We'll be back next time for sure!

Do not buy from Ashley's. My husband and I bought a mattress over two months ago. initially, we were told it would be available for pick up in about two weeks. Once two weeks rolled around, we had to call them and then they pushed it back another week or so. Stated some hold up within the warehouse. So they told us a new date it would be available for. Another 2 weeks go by, we contacted them again checking the status of our new mattress. The same thing happened. We were told ANOTHER date that our mattress Would then be available. My husband went into the store & discussed his frustration. They apologized & told us we would get a free delivery to our house for the troubles, setting up another date for delivery. On the day of the "supposed" delivery date, we hadn't heard anything. We contacted them and explain the whole situation with the manager yet again, just to find out the mattress was discontinued. They failed to communicate this. We requested a refund & it's been over two weeks and still waiting on the check in the mail from them. Will have to contact them AGAIN to check the status of the refunded check. Just overall the worst experience & will never shop there again. I do not recommend. 0/10.

Customer service is a joke. Not only did it take six months to receive delivery of new loveseat we purchased last February, but only after several months did we have an issue and called for service call. It only took a couple weeks to get a service rep scheduled to come out and inspect the loveseat. Once the inspection was completed, they had to order parts and said that someone would reach out and let us know when they deliver. We waited six months for a phone call and just earlier this week got a message saying they could schedule the delivery of the parts this week. Today they arrived to deliver the parts we need and the delivery guys don’t have the parts on truck and in fact the ticket said they were here to pick up the chair. What a joke. This is not customer service.

We’ve been running around town looking for a specific sofa style. Jessica at Ashley’s was literally awesome. She not only personally welcomed/ recognized us after a visit a few days earlier, but helped us beyond anyone, in any other store, beyond belief. Jessica’s sincerity and honesty are only exceeding by her knowledge and expertise in the home design/furniture realm. We took your advise and very pleased with our purchase. Inept and terrible customer service. Last year I bought an $8000 mattress set from this Ashley store. After ordering, almost 2 months went by without any communication about delivery. Upon contacting the store they told us it had been in the warehouse for quite some time and they never reached out to setup delivery. They said they would look into what they could do for the trouble (we didn't really ask for anything) and they provided us a $250 credit that we actually never got notice from anyone at the store we got it just showed up via an electronic commmunication. Recently we got an email that the credit would be expiring soon so we went back to the store and picked out a coffee table. There was a small balance to be paid via credit card which we did. A few days later we get a call that there's was fine print to the credit that was never disclosed that we had to spend, at least double the credit amount to use the credit. We told the person who called we'll just take a refund of the credit card amount. and to cancel the order. The refund never occured so we went down today and got the refund per the store manager, who just processed the transaction, and after hearing the story did nothing else. I will literally spend my money anywhere else in the future. To have a courtesy credit transaction to make up for a previous customer service issue be handled this way is an indication of that company's commitment to customer service, which is apparently non existent.

We purchased a couch and a recliner about a week ago. I apologize for not remembering the name of the woman who helped us, but she was very patient, sweet and helpful. Ashley was the second place we looked. The sales woman I'm speaking of is the main reason we didn't continue shopping and decided to purchase from her that day. Wonderful people

Picking out the couch was the biggest problem as they had so many to choose from. My salesperson helped with all the information needed to make a decision. When the decision was made she facilitated everything, payment, date and time delivery, everything. If I ever need furniture for my home I definitely will go to Ashley.

We had a great experience and our sales lady was absolutely lovely. No high pressure. And was patient and kind. The staff at the desk was awesome and helpful, not only to us, but to one another.

The salespeople at Ashley were very patient and helpful. The guys that delivered (Terrell King and his partner) are the best, they were extremely courteous and respectful of our home. This is the second set of living room sofas that we have purchased From Ashley and we will return in the future for any more furniture.

Do not buy furniture from Ashley's, Morris, or any of the store associated. My fiance and I recently got an apartment and we need to buy furniture for it, unfortunately, we were not very experienced in this area and went to Ashley's Furniture. We found a dining room set and a coffee table, the total came to 971 dollars. The dining room table was delivered scratched. To get ahold of Ashley's they recommended their online chat feature whose only purpose is to frustrate the customer into giving up on a resolution. I finally got ahold of the store and they sent a technician out who could not repair the table. As I waited for his report so I could get a replacement table, my coffee table was delivered, and surprisingly that was also damaged. I was tired of going through their live chat feature just to end up on the phone for hours, so I went in person to get my money back. I talked to the sales team and they scheduled a pick up of my items, little did I realize they forgot to schedule my coffee table to be picked up with the damaged dining room table, so I spent another day going into the store where their customer service team tried to blame me for not reporting the damaged item within 3 days, but I was in the store the same day it was delivered. After two Saturdays spent waiting on the delivery team all day to come pick up my items, because they never come in the time slot they give, I finally had the furniture out of the apartment. I wish I could say my journey was over but Ashley's had one more trick up its sleeve by canceling my refund and acting like nothing happened on their end, after calling them and them just turning it back on me I got my credit card company involved to cancel the original payment. With that being said this is the worst shopping experience I've ever had, please never buy anything from this shady low-level store!!!

Shop here if you really like being harassed until you get fed up and leave! I understand that they have a job to do, but when someone says they would like a little space to look on their own, give them some space. We couldn’t have more than 15 seconds to ourselves to figure out what we liked before first the salesperson and then the manager came over to push us on what to buy. They pushed us right out the door to buy from another store.

Please read it all. *Updated review* No pressure at all. Bri was amazing and offered us an amazing deal on a bedroom set. We actually almost walked out with a couch and chaise as well but decided to wait. If you want honesty and a great deal, ask for Bri. She'll take care of you. However, upon delivery, our footboard was damaged. This meant that we had to wait another week for delivery. On top of that, we were also told by Bri that the removal of the old mattress would be included in the cost. Wrong! They didn't TAKE the old mattress. What does a company expect from a 5+ year old mattress? It's gonna be worn in fair condition with stains. Then on to of that Customer service: could care less that the frame was damaged and that we needed to wait another week for our delivery. Did nothing to bump us up on the schedule. Was not friendly, even in email. Needless to say, this does not instill my faith in Ashley furniture at all.

***Edited*** Bri was amazing on the day of the sale. Which on a commission based job, that's the name of the game. We were told that the bed would come with a "foundation". Well the foundations are box springs. After figuring out that mess, then comes delivery time. The delivery was 1st scheduled for 8-11am about 8:05 received a message they were 15 mins away. Well over an hour later no one showed up. Then we recieve an updated message saying now the delivery was for 10am to 1pm. They ultimately arrived close to 3 pm. With no text or calls. Absolutely horrible service will not recommend. And will not be giving ashley or morris any more of our business.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent purchase experience at your Miamisburg Ashley Furniture store. Despite multiple assurances from the store manager, "J," that my sectional would be delivered by the first week of October, the order has been delayed significantly. A partial delivery was received on October 10th, but the remaining two end inclined chairs are yet to arrive. When I inquired about the status of the missing pieces, I was informed that they would be available at the distribution center by October 16th. However, as of today, October 15th, Manager J has informed me that the order has been further delayed, and the latest estimated arrival date at the distribution center is now October 30th. I am extremely frustrated by these ongoing delays, especially considering the initial promises made regarding the delivery timeline at the time of purchase. Additionally, I am concerned that I may not receive the $400 gift card that Manager J promised to compensate for the delays. Despite my attempts to confirm this arrangement, I have been unable to obtain any written documentation or confirmation from the store or Manager J. I believe it is unacceptable for a reputable company like Ashley Furniture to make promises that cannot be fulfilled. I urge you to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a resolution to this issue as soon as possible, including an assurance on the revised delivery date and confirmation of the $400 gift card. Had I known about the potential for such significant delays, I would not have made the decision to purchase the sectional. I hope that you will address this matter promptly and professionally.

We went into the Miamisburg location to begin our search for a recliner. Matt greeted us immediately upon entering and was happy to assist us in finding a chair we felt good about owning. I used to work in furniture and consumer electronics sales and I understand how things should go and unfortunately how seldom that is the way things turn out. But this was the exception. Matt was TREMENDOUS to work with. He was knowledgeable, he was patient, and he went out of his way to not only take our order, but to also look for our best purchase avenues regarding discounts, terms etc. As a result, we not only selected and purchased a recliner that we love and cannot wait to have delivered, but also a rug for our living room, a bench for our dining room set, and accent pillows. Matt is even assisting in getting us service for a chair we bought a year ago. I’ve dealt with Ashley for years now.. our furniture we have would support that point. But this is our first time with Matt and I can promise, he will be “My furniture guy” from here on because HE WITHOUT DOUBT, understands how this process should be for a customer and does everything imaginable to make that happen.

Came to just window shop for beds. Met Matt who was very patient and was not pushy at all. The best salespeople are ones who don't hover or try and sell you the most expensive item. He is that person. Very kind and easy going. We settled on a mattress. There was initially an issue with the discount and Matt had to get his manager, Chris. I had to purchase a pillow and mattress protector for the 90 day better sleep warranty to be vaild. When I jokingly complained about only having one pillow the manager said to just throw in another pillow for free. These pillows are not cheap. That kind of service you just don't get. It's not about throwing in something free it's just about making sure you're happy. They definitely have my business

I'm not one to complain but it's hot as hell in this store. I saw 2 elderly couples give up on looking at furniture while I was in there. The heat really doesn't bother me but I could tell it was bad enough to chase off other customers. I really feel for the employees in there because they looked miserable. Not a good look when you're not providing ac to employees or customers during the hottest time of the year.

They really have some nice furniture. I took my mom there to pick out a new couch. The prices were pretty reasonable. The staff were very polite. The store is very clean. If I have to say one thing, felt like they needed to turn the air conditioner on lol. But beyond that that wouldn't stop me from recommending this location to anyone.

I am very pleased with the entire experience with the purchase of a new recliner. The sales person was extremely helpful in providing the details of selecting the perfect chair. The delivery team was polite and helpful in placing my new chair exactly in the proper place in my home. I would definitely use this store for future purchases.

Bought a couch from them. When the delivery people showed up they claimed they couldn't get it up the stairs of our apartment building and would issue a refund. Called store, was told they should be able to take the back of the couch off and reassemble it once upstairs and they would call me back. They didn't, so the next day I called them and was told they had sold the couch to someone else and it would be a while before they could get another one in (already waited 2 weeks for the first one). Already gave away my old couch to make room for the new one prior to delivery, now I have no couch and a family with no where to sit in the living room so I figured I'd go get the cash back that I paid and buy a couch somewhere that can deliver asap. Was told I would have to wait for a check to be mailed to me, and it would take at least 5 days. Appreciate all the help Ashley, you guys are awesome.

Overpriced

Bought a recliner in October of 2022. The one on the showroom floor was very comfortable, the one delivered to us was hard as a rock. The head rest area is more convex than the one on the showroom floor. I visited the store a few weeks after delivery to compare the two and the salesman told me mine would "soften up and be more comfortable with time" I tried to reach out to Ashley the manufacturer and was told it was not there product, despite the fact the store I was in says Ashley furniture and the salesman said it was Ashley. 8 months later the recliner is still very uncomfortable and has not softened up, and this recliner has a lot of miles on it as I slept in it for a few months after surgery. This is the second time we have had an issue with an item we purchased at Ashley, never again.

As soon as I arrived Allie greeted us with a smile and was eager to help me. She was very professional, taking as much time as I needed to answer all my questions. Chris, the store manager, was also very enthusiastic and available to work out all the details of my furniture purchase. I definitely recommend Ashley Furniture and this location for superior customer service.

I've taken time off for these missed deliveries and will likely have to take a third day for Ashley to maybe deliver this next time around. Mark was still very helpful as a salesman but the company delivering the furniture for Ashley is pathetic. I'll update rating if/when they ever deliver the furniture.

I would have never expected such service from a furniture store, but as soon as I met Steven, I knew I’d be buying my furniture from Ashley that day… and indefinitely as long as he’s there! Steven took care to listen to my wants, showed me around, and made me feel like a meaningful customer. He answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable on stock. Not only did I receive phenomenal service that led me to buy from Steven the same day I walked in… but then he sent a thank you card with a personalized note. Just floored by this service. We have had so many problems with this store. They cancelled an order multiple times without contacting or refunding. They also forgot a piece of a couch upon delivery then brought a broken piece and assembled it wrong. This took 4 months to resolve. The warranty they sell do you also does not cover what they tell you and it is almost impossible to contact the right customer service for that. Do not buy from this store their customer service is horrible.

This is absolutely the worst experience I have had purchasing furniture. My items were supposed to be delivered on 12/4 (purchased and paid for in October). By 12/8 only half of my items were in stock so I scheduled delivery for what was available. My table arrived missing parts and the delivery crew left it in pieces on my floor. The only way to communicate with customer service is to fill out a form that they will respond to within 72 hours. The response is always the same, they say they've ordered parts but will not give me tracking, or let me know when my items will be here other than the standard 14-21 days they've been saying over and over again. I called the store today and was told someone would call me back, but they never did. They have a table on the showroom but won't give me the parts off of that, although they charged my credit card for the entire order in October. Please do not shop here, it's not worth it.

Delivery drivers refused to take different route to deliver product and told me to reschedule as if rescheduling will be an asap appointment, it is a lengthy wait time.

Laura, the GM, was very helpful with my order today. I must say the corporate customer support team is lacking and their system is terrible, but the store staff has been amazing. Both Laura and Chamaria have personally helped me when customer support did not. Ashley is lucky to have them taking care of customers.

Poor experience after all- bought 2 mattresses- one a tempurpedic and adjustable base. Policies were not clear. No call for delivery, just showed up. Base power cord only half there. Delivery guy called the warehouse, they said another whole base had to be ordered. So no power!! Salesperson said it couldn’t be ordered for another day! Saddened one was found at the warehouse!! Put it in the mail! No coming back to put it on. Post office brought it 5 days later with Postage Due before I could get it!! Then figuring out how to put it on, mattress had to be taken off again- two seniors with a bad back trying to manage!! No extended legs came either the salesperson promised- had to order myself! Second King mattress to be delivered, 6:30 am to 9:30 am time frame given! WHO delivers mattresses at 6:30 am- my Sick spouse had to get up at 6am for the delivery. Tempurpedic mattress hard as a rock, my arthritic hip wouldn’t take it- They refused to take it back- must wait 30 days for exchange only.. I wouldn’t have bought one!! A break in period! 30-45 days. Whole experience a nightmare!! And try getting anyone on the phone!!!

My husband and I purchased an adjustable bed per Erics advice. My husband has serious snoring issues and a heart vale. Eric explained to us that this type of adjustable bed would not only help his snoring issues but also very safe and healthy for his heart. Seeping with your head slightly elevated is much healthier than sleeping with your head flat. Well Eric was 100% right! This bed has been amazing! Thank you Eric!

Let me just start off with I will never shop at Ashley/Morris ever again. Not only did they completely screw up everything, they have been a nightmare to deal with. First it started with almost shipping the wrong order. Secondly, they said l was getting a delivery that wasn't confirmed a week later. Now, after going rounds with them, it's now another week out because of the salesman Robby didn't do his job. If it weren't for them being the only furniture store of "quality" around, I would of said screw them. Never again will I spend a dime with them. Buyer beware!!!!

The most ridiculous business to deal with!! Absolutely no communication, the amount of lies told to me about our delivery date was unbelievable! When I did get ahold of someone the lady thought she had me on mute and I heard her say "what should I tell this lady" I will never deal with thus company ever again!

Ashley is really really really really bad!!!! I bought the bed last November,but i still didn't get it,every month i got there to check the status,every time the only reply is next month from Jan. I'm very disappointed,i will never never buy anything from Ashley!!

Over priced on most stuff. Bathrooms were smelly and not so clean.
