Do not shop here! My parents just bought furniture for a new house. They delivered the first part of the order last week but unfortunately only half of the items were available totally fine. Today the second half showed up which included the dining room table. The chairs were in the first delivery last week. As soon as it was in was obviously too big for the space. Called immediately per directions from the store - no problem when calling within 72 hours of delivery. However since the chairs, which were part of the set, were delivered on the original order date they r past the 72 hours and can’t be refunded!? Without the table how did they know they don’t want the set? If that’s policy why would u deliver pieces of a set on different weeks? My husband and I, my parents and now my adult have bought Ashley furniture for years. None of us will ever again step into their stores and I urge everyone reading this to shop elsewhere!

Shipping fee is outrageous. If you have to pick up, you have to go to bowling green, not available to pick up at store. No other furniture store has a 360 shipping fee for a couch.

Poor quality, unorganized and not worth your time. Good luck using your warranty no matter how much you spend, they will find a way to deny your claim no matter how obvious ( and mechanical) it is. Save your money, you can get better at big lots .

Warranty is VERY difficult to use. Trying to get a sectional fixed is like pulling teeth. The store told me the warranty was sold to a company called GBS who had no knowledge of it. I then called Ashley Corp who said I didn't have a warranty even though I had the paid receipt in my hand! After many MANY calls and literally hours of chasing with little to no help from Ashley I found (on my own) who my warranty ended up being sold to. Record keeping is atrocious and help with warranty work is non existent. No one wants to deal with it and you are meet time and time again with a *not my problem " attitude.

We went in looking for a couch the guy was very polite let us know where things were and we found exactly what we were looking for.

I called the store earlier in the day and the salesman helped me very well and then my wife and her mother stopped there and were shown an example of the recliner I inquired about and I met them there and my wife was happy with what she tried out so I purchased a recliner for delivery at a later date! Purchased over $13,000 worth of furniture. The kitchen chairs are complete junk. When you called they just give you the run around. Once you purchase something from Ashley, you are on your own!

Had a great experience with the sales department in the store however the warranty and services department was useless. Only had the chair 1 month before it broke. Waited 2 months to get parts and they cancel on repair services with no respect to tell you and then expect you to miss work to be home whenever it best suits them. Horrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend warranty service but it's necessary when my brand new chair broke springs in less than a month.

Ashley’s in defiance, 10 out of 10! I was greeted the moment I walked into the store and found my dream sectional almost right away! The woman manager who helped me was very helpful and not pushy at all! She also tried to get me the best deal possible, which was super thoughtful considering I was going to buy the sectional either way!

First of all, let me start with your staff at the Defiance store. Carlos, the sales rep and Renee the store manager were not only professional and knowledgeable. They were kind and patient. I knew exactly what I wanted and they made sure that I found what I wanted! I went into the store at least three times because I always want to make sure that is what I really want. I am a widow, therefore the choices I make, I need to know exactly what I want. I don’t have a lot of extra money, but again they made sure that I found what I wanted!! The only thing I didn’t like is that your stores don’t carry samples of fabrics that all the sofas come in. I highly suggest that Corporate considers supplying each store with samples. This would have made my decisions a lot easier. Again, the staff were phenomenal.

Was looking at lift chairs, they let me try all the lift chairs. They were very helpful in explaining the functionality of them, I could not be happier with the service I received.

Found the chair we were looking for and managed to have it sent to our home.

$3,800 sectional couch frame broke within 6 months of purchase. My husband went into the store and asked for them to send someone for repairs and they first offered $160 towards any Ashley product and he said no I want my couch fixed. They counter offered for a cash payment of $100 and some change and he again said no I want the frame of my new couch fixed and they said they would put us on some sort of list for repairs. Months have passed and we have heard NOTHING from Ashley! My husband fixed it as best as he could himself and Ashley can be sure we will never be back!

Carlos Ortiz was so very helpful on or recent visit. He listened to our wants and then shared several pieces that would meet or needs. Never pushy and always helpful. Best furniture sales rep I have worked with in quite some time.

We worked with Renae, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We just built a house, and we’re in the process of furnishing it. For a saleswoman, she wasn’t pushy at all, and I felt comfortable to ask as many questions as I needed. We just bought a dining room set, but I’m excited to go back and possibly work with her again to get other items for our house. She even helped me load up the car! Incredible customer service.

Nick was my salesperson, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He got me a great deal on my furniture, and I would love to work with him again.

We showed up 20 minutes before close and intended just to test out a few power recliners and our associate stayed and guided us through purchasing one. Quick and easy and helped us find the one that was comfortable and fit out budget.

Tag was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable.

The sales associates honestly seemed to be lazy. Carlos was kind but did not seem to put much work into selling me the sectional and ottoman I bought. When asked questions he did not seem to want to figure out the answers I needed. It was as though they were doing me a favor instead of thanking me for paying $4,000 for furniture. My friend who came with me did more work than the sales staff did. Also, a cigarette was found in one of the chairs on the sales floor and Carlos did nothing to retrieve it or seem bothered by this at all. I was not thanked for my purchase after the transaction was complete.

The store is the blind leading the blind. Baught a mattress for my daughters bed, it had to be ordered from the warehouse. They said 3 to 5 days. 14 days and having to call the warehouse 2 times we finally got it delivered. They said at the store they would take the old mattress and the driver refused. So we called about that and they denied ever saying that the driver takes the old away. Lousy customer service This is not the first time but will be the last time and I ever do business with Ashley. Sad thi g is, they could care less

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service.. I received my sectional and it was sent wrong. Now Ive been waiting for over a month waiting on my correct furniture. Had my delivery rescheduled TWICE. Ridiculous. I will NEVER buy from them again. Go somewhere else.. it'll save you time and a head ache.

My experience with Ashley was my first and last. The manager of the Defiance store was rude and hung up on me. I asked for an explanation on why my furniture was not going to be delivered on date requested when purchasing items. Customer service is horrible and so is the Defiance store in my opinion. The delivery guys, however, were awesome!

We purchased an electric recliner from Ashley furniture paid $1000+ on 1/30/2022. We noticed the arm rest was bowing out the end of Feb 2023. It was over the 1 year manufacturer warranty. We had purchased the furniture protection plan. We called furniture protection and filed a claim. It took over 3 weeks for a technician to look at it. Then over 8 weeks for furniture protection to DENY our claim. I called weekly for an update. We reported it as soon as we noticed a problem! The screws started falling out! The fabric was torn underneath because it’s electric! It ripped on the underside while operating the chair. The frame basically fell apart! We are now out of a chair and over $1000… Ashley Furniture did not offer us anything as far as compensation or discount on a new chair. They offered us absolutely NOTHING! Basically, Ashley Furniture said it was in mint condition when we purchased it. That it was passed the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Furniture protection said they don’t cover normal wear and tear and we should have reported it sooner. We will never buy from Ashley Furniture again! Don’t ever buy the furniture protection plan! The first picture is when I called and started the claim with furniture protection. The last picture was taken last week… We have watched this chair fall apart!

The purchase protection plan is kind of neat. If all goes well your $300 becomes $500 in five years. That’s a nice way to get repeat business.

We had a great experience. The staff was very knowledgeable, especially our salesman, Chris. We had the freedom to walk around without any high pressure sales tactics. The store was clean and set up nicely. Chris was available to answer all of our questions and when it came time to purchase, all of our processing was fairly quick and simple.

If I could give this store less than 0 stars I would. A sales associate ordered the wrong bed frame for a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The store assured us that the correct one was ordered and it was going to be all taken care of. That was not the case. The wrong bed frame came again and the order was messed up yet again. They again assured us that the order was going to be fixed and the correct item was ordered. When the delivery man came they only came to pick up the wrong order and the delivery guys told us that there was never another order placed. I have called this store no less than 6 times to try and get it sorted out only to get hung up on twice. No one at this store has been any help and we are now going on the second month of having to have an unusable mattress because we don’t have the proper frame. I would not recommend this store to anyone. After ordering thousands of dollars of furniture from this location you would like to believe that there would be some expectation that they would make an effort to keep their loyal customers orders correct.

Came into the store today with intentions of spending alot of money on my new living room furniture for our new home only to be told they have NOTHING in stock except one couch on clearance and if I did order something it would be around 8 weeks before we received it and if we needed it before then there was nothing they could do. Wow... I will take my money elsewhere! Never going back....

Owned our furniture 9 months and the sofa and chair begun fraying and coming apart at the seams. We were told warranty doesn't cover this. The material like this just does that. Considered normal. $2600 and 9 months later we need furniture again!!

Waited 4 months to have half of my headboard and footboard delivered with damage and it’s now sitting in my garage. No one notified us of being a split order and we wouldn’t have ordered had we known it would take this long or that we’d have to put an expensive piece of furniture in our garage

We purchased a chair and dining set from Anthony on 3/25/21 at the Defiance Ohio store and wanted to tell you what a fantastic representative he is. He greeted us in a very friendly, personable way and when we told him we were just browsing, he very graciously said that he would answer any questions we had and left us to browse. That approach is exactly what we like when shopping. We find it very off-putting when a sales rep tries to steer us into something we are not really interested in. After we found the chair we had hoped for, we also decided upon a beautiful dining set as well. Our overall experience with Anthony and everyone we dealt with at the store was wonderful. We hope that the delivery and assembly of our dining goes as well.

Was greeted and helped right away. We have our couches on order. The ordering/ paperwork took much longer than I had hoped cuz only one person is allowed to do it. Need to add another person to that process. Otherwise everyone was friendly and helpful. Hopefully when the couches arrive I will still be pleased. Edit: after a few months of owning couches they had to come to my home and fix on 3 different occasions. Now after 2 years Couch cushions are flatten along with arm rest. Plus a USB port quit working after a year and a half. Won't come back.

We purchased a sectional almost 2 years ago from Ashley and the quality of the couch is horrible. The cushions never stay in place, some of the areas of the couch are starting to sink, and some of the frame work in several areas of the couch is broken and has been for several months. We are not hard on our furniture so this type of break down is completely unacceptable. This is the first couch my husband and I bought brand new, and we will never buy another couch from Ashley again.

Update: it took over a year to get all of our order. They had to deliver our cocktail table twice, because it was broken, and then missing parts ( the guy who delivered it noticed it and was honest and called his boss on FaceTime in disbelief) When we purchased we also purchased a warranty. We are going to try to use that on our love seat that will not close properly already 🙃 I’ll let you know how that goes Worst experience ever buying anything. GO ELSEWHERE!!!! If I could go back in time I definitely would’ve bought somewhere else. Zero customer service, if you try to call and talk to the sales manager he/or she isn’t there. Stuff came with missing parts and assembled incorrectly. I’m over dealing with these people.

One of there drivers almost hit my suv about a week ago. Then ended up deliverying maybe 2 blocks away from my house. The kid driven was beeping his horn on the big truck like he was on the highway and i was doing 30 in a 55. But it was 30 in a 25. The where deliverimg on the south side of napoleon

We have bought from Ashley on several different occasions. Estimate that we have spent most $10,000 on furniture there between our house and our kid's houses. We have been flooded with promotional emails recently and we are looking for a couch for our daughter so we looked online. Nothing available. Went in to town and there are people standing at every corner waving signs about the $7,000,000 overstock furniture sale at Ashely so we go to the store. As soon as we walk in the sales lady tells us about their sale but says it will be at least 12 weeks for deliver because they have nothing in stock. How are they having an overstock sale with no inventory. Horrible advertising.

We had great customer service not pushy. Our first visit we looked around then spoke with our sales associate (she was great!) got pricing went home thought about it and went in a week or so later and made the purchase again it was a great personal experience!! Thank you Sally Leonard! I highly recommend Sally!

Sally was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and accommodating and made our experience buying a new couch easy.

Purchased furniture ( sectional couch and recliner) on may 15 and was told that we would have to wait a month till delivery. So today is supposed be delivary day and they didnt show. We were expecting a phone call. Apparently they sent an email on June 12th that delivery will be postponed another month for the couch. And we wont receive the recliner till August. They will not give us a refund. We were told we had 72 hrs to do so. I'm on hold with corporate atm but after 15 mins they will send me to voice mail and I wont get a call back till 48-90some hrs. Ridiculous that they wont refund. It's not our fault the delivery got pushed back that much longer. That's too long. We had already gotten rid of our old couch as well so guess sol.smh

Mary and Sally were excellent helps in getting us what we needed, by helping us pick out furniture that matched our living room, working with us on the prices, getting us financed, and above all, she made us feel valued. The hospitality was incredible as well. Easiest 5 star review I've ever written.

Large selection. Lots of goodies on sale.

My spouse and I visited. We knew what we wanted, but the pushy sales people totally turned us off. We just turned around and walked the door.

The store is nice, but their customer service is HORRIBLE. I purchased well over $5,000 of furniture from this store and was given store credit if I did not need to use my protection plan after four years. They then refused to transfer my store credit to Ashley furniture in Cleveland and said I HAVE to purchase from their store. They told me it was not “their fault” that I moved out of their delivery area.......... they put the sale first and the customer last. I wouldn’t trust them and will happily take my money elsewhere.

My husband and I were not impressed at all! We are a younger married couple and the store was almost empty, maybe 2 other families but yet NO ONE HELPED US! The store manager asked us 1 time and If we wanted water and we said yes... but she got an attitude and walked away! We had cash in hand to furnish 2 living rooms and a dining room, but I guess a married couple in their younger 20's isnt old enough to buy furniture for their first home that's over 1,900 sq ft.... will not be coming back or recommending to ANYONE!

I had trey help me. Really cool dude that was a lot of fun and helpful!!! Never felt pushed which is big for me because I'm in sales too. He worked with me despite me being wishy washy so that was so appreciated.

We feel that we got a great price and were even able to take advantage of delivery promotion going on so that was a big plus. Went in looking for a sectional which there wasn’t one on the floor so my boyfriend and I were shown what was available online to look at. Kayla Sowles in the Defiance Store worked with us even after we went home. We were pleased and were able to order it later that day. I was worried I wouldn’t like the fabric or that it would not be comfortable because we weren’t able to sit on one in a different color in the store boy was I wrong. I am so in love with the sectional we purchased. Thank you so much. Also the delivery guys were very polite and were able to set it up and be done in time for me to leave work. After moving to Ohio from Florida, I was in need of living room furniture. I had been on the website for Ashley Furniture and found what I thought I wanted. The showroom in Defiance was fantastic and the associates were very knowledgeable. While they didn’t have the set that I liked on the floor except for a recliner, I was able to look on a big screen, showing all the options. With the floor sample of the recliner, I was able to see the material. Can’t wait to get my new furniture!! I highly recommend Ashley Furniture!!

Nice sales staff. Knowledgeable, black Friday, had to decide then, there and now. Be warned at the end, they don't tell you about delivery fee or what you are buying has no warranty. You have to buy that. My 500.00 set went up 200.00. I spent 1 1/2 hours picking out what my wife wanted to be hit with this at the end. :(

Sally, was our sales rep.and was was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about your product, and knows what type of bed should be bought for the needs you have. We got there just before closing, but she didn't mind. She stayed over an hour past closing with us, so we could find the best bed for us. We bought furniture from this Ashley store after we purchased our home. The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the associate that worked with us, Reba, helped us get the best deal possible. The quality is great, we've the furniture for about a year. We had a small issue with the couch and had absolutely no problems with Ashley repairing it. I definitely recommend checking them out!

First time in the store yesterday. Sales people were very polite and helpful. I found the overall product quality to be underwhelming for the value. The styles were appealing but for the cost I would look for an actual wood finish. Better local options include Ken's Furniture and Heron's Oak. If you want value consider the Sauder outlet.

Store is very move. My review is lower because of how long it took to get our order and the lack of communication while waiting.
