**update: they emailed me back saying they would not honor their return policy and accept a return or refund. Absolute scam. I wanted to treat myself to something other than Ikea and Amazon furniture, but alas, I deeply regret it. Ashley is a Complete Scam! Let's read their return policy together (clip included in this post): "Not completely satisfied? We accept the return of Standard Shipping item(s) within 30 days of delivery." I purchased the item November 19th (Order number: 725010008338). It did not get delivered until November 27th, which is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I was out of town. I came back into town the next day, and observed the item was wet. I called on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to return it, and they let me know that it was too late, and I only had 72-hours. This is contradictory to their website, and doesn't consider the fact that there was a holiday in the middle of the return period. I was returning two end tables, so not particularly expensive. I have spent over a thousand dollars on a couch and an ottoman, and did not return those. I tried to resolve this via their chat and kept getting disconnected. If you don't refresh the page over and over again, the chat is lost. Finally after a phone call arguing with the rep and a chat where they made me submit pictures, they let me know that someone would be in contact with me in 3-5 business days. This is unconscionable that their window to respond to me, is longer than my window to respond to them. I'm very angry and I expect someone to contact me.
Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and did not pressure a sale. The showroom has a large selection, and the process to purchase and deliver was seamless. We ordered Platinum service and the drivers showed within the promised window and set up the sofa with care. The only thing we noticed post set-up was the 5th center support leg was not extended to touch the floor. Not a big deal as we were instructed to inspect the installation. 5 star review.
I have been having the worst time with this store and the delivery. Went in one night before July 4th, knew exactly what we wanted, showed the salesman, he ordered it, and told us we got free cornhole boards - sweet! Delivery day comes, the bed wasn't ordered with both cubbies like I expected, we didn't get our cornhole boards, the movers BROKE our ceiling fan, parts of our nightstands weren't installed, and the handles on the ONE CUBBY weren't installed, it was super disappointing and not indicative of the premium delivery we paid for. I reached out to customer service, after a bunch of back and forth, I was finally compensated for the broken ceiling fan (at first they didn't offer enough to cover the cost of the fan...) and they ordered the other cubby at no cost to me (the most positive thing they did - for which I am grateful). I was told by customer service that the store manager CANCELED the cornhole boards - which I don't understand how they can cancel something that was promised/ordered to us. Today, delivery day two! The new cubby arrives! The delivery team comes in, I show them where the new cubby is going (replacing the side rail), and they get to it. After longer than expected and a bunch of drilling, they start carrying the cubby back out. I asked them why they were taking it out. They were confused. THEY REPLACED THE INSTALLED CUBBY WITH THE NEW ONE! I was like "um, noooo... that goes over here". Finally - both cubbies are installed and the handles are installed on all the drawers. BUT. I still don't have my promised cornhole boards. Never again, Ashley. Never again.
I would give negative 5 star reviews if possible. Ordered a chair on Sunday all paid up and was told it would be here on Wednesday ( today ) I was given a time frame 1 - 3 ish time frame. Cool. .. 245ish text saying 330 to 630. I replied ok. I mean I took the day off . Then 430 rolls around delivered service between 430 to 730 . Pissed I am but whatever. 745pm I am texting and calling them nothing. 753pm I get a call saying we won't be out today. I ask wtf and I get sorry!!! I state I took a day off to have this delivered and pretty much all I get is oh well... completely bullshit absolutely horrible service
Went in for the first time ever was amazed by how affordable prices can be as the quality except for being followed around everywhere. It made the shopping experience extremely awkward as it did not let me see everything as good as I wanted considering I was being stared at constantly.
