My husband and I stopped in to learn more about mattress available at Ashley. We were helped by a young associate named Dave Backinoff. He was incredible! Even after learning that we were from out of state and wouldn’t be making a purchase in Ohio he was willing to walk us through a sleep test. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient! He convinced us that Ashley is the place to buy a mattress. We have let all of our friends and family here in the area about our experience!

While visiting the store our sales associate, Kait was friendly and knowledgeable but not overbearing. We picked out a bedroom set but left to look at other options. Within an hour of leaving, Kait took the initiative of finding us promo pricing that saved us a great deal of money. She helped us process the sale without us having to return and her communication was excellent. Very pleased so far

Great experience working with Rory as our salesman. He was polite, patient, personable and not pushy with us at all. In the end we ended up purchasing a Beautyrest mattress and couldn’t be happier with the decision. I went to an Ashley store and they couldn’t get what I needed so I went to a different location on west market in Akron ohio and Dave was absolutely AMAZING he was able to get the mattress I wanted and at an even less price than what I expected when I tell you this guy is absolutely AMAZING at his job he’s the absolute best and so sweet and courteous he made me feel like I was in good and capable hands and he knew the products and he listened to my needs…THE BEST SALES GUY EVER!!!

I have been shopping for a sofa for a while. I had specific dimensions and needed something comfortable but durable. The online pictures never reflect the real thing. I went into the store. Dave met me within seconds, asked what I was looking for, and suggested a sofa that checked off all the boxes. The store overall was well organized. Each setup had a designer touch showcasing the "livingroom" fully furnished. The price was right and the sofa will be delivered just in time for house guests. I will definitely shop here again.

All the staff is very friendly and very attentive. We were helped by David and Kassandra. Both were very helpful finding our couch and mattress. They were very patient with us answering all our questions. David even helped keep our kids busy and played with them while we sorted things out. Came in a couple days later and Kassandra helped us out and she was very friendly and answered all 100 questions my wife had. Would 100% buy from them again. UPDATE: As it appears they’re just good sales people. After leaving the store it has been a nightmare. We thought about exchanging our couch so our order was on hold until we switched for different couches however we ended up keeping the same couch but had to redo the loan and The loan service we originally were going through (synchrony 60 month) was down the day we came back so they temporarily put it on the other loan (12 month) and said as long as we switched the loan back before our first bill we were fine. We tried to switch the day after the couches arrived and were told because the couches were delivered we’re stuck with the 12 month loan which is much higher payment we didn’t plan for. NEXT ISSUE: We also had ordered a BeautyRest Black Hybrid firm mattress. They delivered the wrong mattress which was a much cheaper uncomfortable bed that me and my 6 months pregnant wife had to sleep on for weeks before they could deliver the correct mattress. Now after weeks of waiting around they finally deliver the correct mattress and give us a defective mattress that sinks on one side and now going through an annoying process of pictures and videos to show the defects. Who knows if they will lets us exchange it and if they do who freaking knows how long it’ll take seeing how it took almost a month the first time around. VERY dissatisfied and feel as if we’re owned money back and will be speaking with whoever I need to. Never shopping with Ashely again.

Kate Darby at the Fairlawn Ashley store was the best furniture sales person I have EVER met! From the moment I called the store, she was friendly and optimistic! I was having a sad experience at the Cuyahoga Falls Ashley and she saved me! In person, she was knowledgable, knew what I wanted, and did everything she could to make me happy. Two days later I am still smiling about my furniture buying experience! Go to the Fairlawn store - while I was at that store, the other employees were kind and also seemed to know what they were doing, especially the manager working that day. For a holiday (July 4th), no one seemed bitter about working and all wanted what's best for their customers. Thank you Kate, you are a true gem!!

I was in with my mom to purchase a dining table and chairs, but we both have very different tastes and had to look at a lot of different sets to find one we both agreed on. Dave Backinoff was both patient and knowledgeable and took the extra time to help us find something we liked. He was very helpful and went the extra mile when getting our order placed and following up the next day when I wanted to add items to our order. It was a really positive experience thanks to Dave!

I have been a customer of Ashleys now for almost a year, and every time, their customer service in the store has been WONDERFUL! Josh, the store manager, has gone out of his way several times to make sure I am able to get the furniture I want and I appreciate it so much! My bed will be here on Friday!!! YAY!! Had a wonderful experience in the store. The Sales Associate was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our question and she was very helpful from start to finish. I purchased our bed online from Ashley but went in the store to purchase the mattress. My only issues was once our items were delivered, the smart base with all the bells and whistles was not the one we received. The one we receive was missing the vibrating feature and the lumbar feature and those features were the ones that attracted us to the adjustable base we chose. I have put a call in to the store so hopefully they will bring us the correct base to rectify my issue.

Despite not getting anything because we chose to go online I'd recommend this place anyone to looking get furniture. Our salesperson was more then accommodating to our wants and needs and not trying to sell us unneeded items, he was straight to the point. He was even willing to work with us budget wise. Ultimately, we did get the stuff online due to payment limitations but definately would choose them again to get more furniture 😊 4.5/5 stars just for the slight limitation

3 of the 4 women at customer service were focused on their cell phones. The only one who wasnt on her phone (Cass?) g)reeted us and took good care of us. But when she had a question for one of the others on a procedure and the other agent didnt even look up from her phone and just nodded as our agent was showing her somethong for our question. (Although the rep who gave us the good service was not the one who rang up my purchase))

Cass did an awesome job explaining the different matresses and made sure we tried many different ones to ensure we made the perfect choice. Although I still think our salesperson Cass did an awesome job selling, I'm changing my rating due to experiences since the purchase. Once our delivery was complete, we quickly realized the adjustable base was not the same as the one shown to us in the store. We immediately reached out to the store and after a few days they responded with, "oh, if you want the base we were showing you (and one we agreed to buy) you'll have to pay another $2000 (no where near accurate). But hey, we have this Ashley brand one that's kinda similar and well.... guess we can exchange it with the Beautyrest we sent you". When that one was delivered, the brand new mattress tore from lifting it up to change out the base. Now still waiting for a replacement mattress and they still refuse to give me the base we tried out and said we wanted.
Ashley, furniture is the best. They have the best prices, the best furniture, and the best customer service. Rory and Dave were extremely helpful. Kassandra helped us pick out some great furniture

My last shopping experience was terrible. I went in the store looking to spend a credit. I found a large mirror that I was interested in purchasing. Got the item to the front and was met with resistance from Dave. He was rude and unwilling to listen to me concerning the credit the I had with Synchrony bank. After going round and and round with him I finally was able to complete the purchase. I had to ask for help in getting the mirror out of the store. To sum it up Dave was unprofessional. His customer service left alot to be desired. I won't be returning to Ashley anytime soon!! Thank Dave for losing a customer!!
They gave me a tape measure and turned me loose to choose my chair 😂. There was no one pushing me in any direction, they were very friendly and courteous. I’ll shop at this store again.

Kait guided us to a great choice for a guest room mattress that would work with our existing adjustable bed base. She was helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to understand what we needed. The mattress came today, it works with the adjustable base, and we are thrilled with it.

I have made most of my purchases through the Fairlawn, Ohio store and my last sales person I dealt with was Joshua Coudriet who happens to be the general manager of the store. Joshua is very knowledgeable, and helped us with all our questions and got us squared away. I would recommend Ashley furniture and the Fairlawn location if you are in the market for furniture!

Sage is a wonderful salesperson. Not pushy, aggressive or "stalky" like most other stores' salespeople. She listened to our wishlist, directed us to appropriate merchandise and let us take our time. She sent us home with pictures, measurements and prices for the pieces we liked and gave us her schedule so we could talk with her if we decided to order. We did go back and order, and are looking forward to our "grown up" furniture! The showroom is clean, large, bright and successfully displays "rooms" of furniture without being overcrowded. Pricing is obvious and associates are quick to note sales. We highly recommend!!

Very comfortable couches and good looking furniture, the service was also great. Dave was attentive but not pushy like a lot of salesman and let us take our time to decide on what we wanted. Prices are a bit high but that's to be expected from any furniture store. Overall a good experience and delivery was quick and easy.

Like most buyers I was all over the place and changed my mind 1000 times on what I wanted. I recently made a small purchase from Kait at the Ashley Furniture store location in Fairlawn, OH. I’m please to share that my experience was phenomenal because of her. Kait is extremely knowledgeable on the products she sells, but more importantly, her enthusiasm, caring attitude, and warm personality was on full display. I’m an automotive aftermarket sales manager with over four decades of sales experience. I’ve always maintained that “people buy from people”, not companies. Ashley furniture is lucky to have Kait as an employee. I hope they value her!

Dont buy anything online from this company. My recent purchase was terrible quality so I returned it. Only to be told the 75$ shipping fee (for an order that was 200$) was totally on me. Unbelievable in this day and age that there is zero help on returns.

This is our second time purchasing furniture for our home from Sage at Ashley furniture! She is extremely accommodating and made the buying process extremely simple
Normally I do not spend the time do leave comments. However, as soon as you walk in they greet you, you are honestly unable to walk away without getting the third degree. We started looking around on our own, less than 2 minutes later, guess what? The greeter was right there. Although we knew what we were in there to look at and purchase we still felt pressured. Asked for pricing on a sofa, made us feel like we were getting the deal of the century, well president’s day at least. Then asked for the price if we included the chair and ottoman, it more than doubled the price. Wait? What? More than doubled?? Said, ok just the sofa then. The rest of the interaction truly felt like the 80’s used car salesman pushing that amazing car that ends up being more costly than a brand new car. Not even two minutes out the door, we got the text message to do this. I get it is the expectation of the company to push the sale. Whatever tactics you are pushing your associates to do, it may work with many of your customers. However, let your customer know you are there, let them look, check up on them, offer some details on sales or what they ‘truly’ like or love about a product, look or detail, then allow the customer to continue on their own. The pressuring tactic is distasteful. I will be willing to buy more if I didn’t feel like the person helping me wasn’t being forced to sell to me, such desperation.

As soon as I walked in she greeted me with warm smile and who can she help me, which I was just going in to look for a specific living room couch for my home. Not only was I able to get the living room couch but she was able to find it on a discounted sale and I was able to get 20% off on 2 sets of beautiful 3 piece set vases. And she did a credit card app that I got approved for to where I got 12 months 0% financing and a delivery date that fitted my busy schedule. I woke up, prayed for a blessing of what I wanted and got it!!! Lazy staff, poor management, horrible issue resolution practice. Their employees loafing on the furniture on their phones, snake oil sales managers. Get this: we purchased an item for pickup, asked them to validate it was in new, excellent condition, they wrapped it sent it out with us, at home we found damage and there #@%$@ manager tried to blame us for the damage, Total low life. This company SUCKS! Customer support argued, their manager pawned us off to someone without authority. Horrible company!

We were hoping for a great delivery and assembly experience today after discussing concerns prior to scheduling a delivery date for a bed, adjustable base and headboard. It was quite the opposite and we are extremely dissatisfied and are still waiting for resolution. Before planning the delivery we made another trip to the store to discuss what we expected and we were promised everything would be assembled and we would love it. Instead we now have a bed that can’t be used and it’s just sitting there due to the headboard just leaning on the wall. Also, the headboard arrived with a dent in it. This is such a disappointing purchase from a core business that deals with furniture. We also called the local store where we purchased everything and asked for the manager. I was told he would call me back and I have yet to receive a call. Please have the Fairlawn local store manager call us ASAP to get this resolved.

She also suggested which ones might work best, and arranged to set up delivery. The transparency was severely lacking and I decided to walk away from 2 pieces I really liked because of that. The fact that the sales people have the ability to negotiate and write down arbitrary numbers on a digital tablet felt shady. So I took pics of the pieces and will be sourcing them on line. I would have bought them there but the ick factor was too great.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Me and my family recently purchased a home for 275k dollars and we went into this store and spent and additional 11,500.00 cash for all new furniture for the new house. At first Kait our sales specialist was fantastic she even gave us her personal cell phone number incase we needed anything. Well when the 3rd party delivery company that Ashley Furniture hired came with the new furniture one of the guys literally pulled my screen door right off the front of my house frame and everything because he could not figure out how to disengage the lock holding it open and put too much force on it I was standing there watching him do it and he tried to say he did nothing it just fell so I called Ashley Furniture they got me in touch with the delivery company and I filed claim for home damage which the delivery company denied and when I called Ashley Furniture they said they couldn't do anything for me because it was a 3rd party company " which they hired " and as soon as we paid for the furniture with cash kait won't even return messages to us. Now I have to pay out of pocket for a contractor to fix my home and then pay for the lawsuit I'm filing on Ashley Furniture and their moving company.
Kait did a fantastic job at the Fairlawn store and spent a lot of time working with us to find a new mattress and adjustable base that will fit our combined sleep needs. She was very knowledgeable and able to walk us through all the pros and cons of each mattress style that we tried. We’ll be back!

“Buyer Beware” I purchased the “high end” couch and loveseat in May with the additional warranty. Already the couch is sunken in, creaking, making all these weird noises. I contacted Ashleys to use my warranty and the additional warranty that I paid extra for doesn’t cover this and I should try the manufacturer warranty, so I did that. I sent the pictures, filled out the form and explained you can’t see anything broken due to the fabric underneath the cushions being black. They responded with denying my claim due to “perception” and “normal wear and tear” They can’t even bother to come and take a look at it. So if you want to actually sit on your furniture I would go elsewhere. Instead of selling extra warranties that are useless they should advertise this furniture is not to be used but just looked at.

Never again!!!!!!! We bought a table in may 2021. By end of 202 it was falling apart. We reached out in January because we bought a warranty. It was back and forth for MONTHS. Finally comes September 2022 and I call mad because nothing has been done. They say they are sending out tech. Tech gets sick. Next tech is a no call no show. WORST customer service. Will NEVER purchase from them again.

I highly recommend Kait and Sage at Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn. We moved from out of state and Kait helped us choose a number of needed furnitire items. A sleeper sofa ended up not fitting in basement entrance and Kait spent hours helping me figure out a solution. Some items have taken weeks to arrive, but we were contacted often regarding progress. Two items ended up on sale at a nearby brick and mortar and Ashley priced match immediately upon us reaching out.They have been very fair with delivery prices and VERY communicative throughout process. It has been a good experience

Although we have always liked the style of what Ashley Furniture offers, our latest couch purchase has left us disappointed. We would no longer recommend friends or family buy Ashley furniture nor will we be return customers anymore. The quality of our couch after only a year quickly deteriorated, with the frame breaking and cushion fabric pilling and tearing easily. We are not hard on our furniture and have only had it 2.5 years and now are looking to have to replace it because it’s not even comfortable to sit on. It was not a cheap piece of furniture and although we bought the warranty, our claim was denied.

All of my end tables look the same, paint coming off. I don’t have small children we are almost empty nesters. We use coasters for every thing. I have constantly called Ashley and gave up because they would not take the end tables and coffee table back and let me pick something else. We redid our entire main floor, from kitchen to living room 2 years ago this month. The whole thing was a success but our end tables and bench and dining chairs from Ashley. Our dining chairs are need new stuffing. We purchased things from Best Buy, levin, value city, lowes and lazy boy. All to finish our main floor. The few things we purchased from Ashley just aren’t holding up. Buyer beware!

Do not buy anything from the Bolanberg collection. If you want true reviews that Ashley won’t block you from seeing on their website, head to Amazon where you’ll see the truth of the matter. Most especially the dining room table. A table that you will use every day with your family. The entire surface stain will rub, peel and wear off. Not maybe, it will. I live in a house that has no small children. It’s my husband and I, and this table looks like crap. I got it in 2019 along with the useless warranty. Oh, by the way don’t bother with their warranty because the company they use “5 starService?” They will deny any claim that you try to make. The warranty was made to cover them, NOT you. I first noticed a small area of wear in March 2021. At that point I had the table since 2019. I let it go thinking it was just an anomaly. Then the whole table started to show wear of the finish all over. I use nothing but water to wipe the table which is what they recommend. They refused to honor my claim because I didn’t tell them 30 days after I very first noticed any wearing of the table. Like I said, the first spot was small so I let it go. My mistake. Like I said, their warranty COVERS THEM not the consumer. In my opinion the Bolanberg table coating, and surface coating for the entirety of this collection, is defective. That Ashley continues to sell it after years of seeing those reviews come through, just shows how much they do not care about the consumer. Do not let this beautiful table and collection fool you. It’s a piece of garbage. The picture I included is just one area of my table. One. The entire table is flaking and the finish is coming off everywhere. I just refinished my entire kitchen in 2019 and included this table in that refinishing. The rest of the kitchen is simply beautiful and this piece looks like it belongs in a garbage heap.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with! We have been waiting since May for our order! Our original delivery date was in August but no one ever called or let us know it would not be here. I’ve contacted customer service several times for an update same thing every time we don’t know when it will be here. It was our first and last time shopping at Ashley’s furniture! They have “looked into it” ever time they say “I don’t know”.

Would NOT recommend Ashley HomeStore. I ordered a bed frame and waited since July to receive it. They shipped a white headboard with ivory side panels and footboard. Upon delivery, I was not asked to inspect the color nor should I expect the pieces not to match. When dealing with customer service I was told that they will extend an "extreme courtesy" to replace the mismatch pieces because I had already accepted the pieces into the home. I will now have to wait another 18-24 weeks for them to replace the items. When asked why the factory did not "check" the colors, I was told the factory lighting could have made them seem similar. So their people do NOT need to inspect the product for accuracy but I HAVE to inspect the product and they are doing me the favor for their mistake. I will not be purchasing any more products from Ashley in the future.
purchased a recliner and couch 3 to 4 years ago with warranty. the warranty process was terrible took 6 weeks for some one to come out. than I call 2 months later they placed order for part and then I called another month later and they tell me part is discontinued and they will replace recliner. get a letter in my email they gave me 270 for a recliner. this won't replace a recliner let alone this recliner that's grey with nail head trim. apparently when I purchased the couch and recliner with warranty the sales associate adjusted price of recliner to compensate for cost of warranty. I tried to place a claim for couch for seam and it was denied for normal wear and tear. I will never buy furniture from them again.
BUYET BEWARE! Terrible company. I should say until my most recent experience I loved this company. My whole house is Ashley furniture. I purchased a couch and recliner set 3 to 4 years ago. Purchased a 5 year warranty as well for both items. I had to make my first claim recently as the back of recliner basically snapped off and a bracket needs replaced. Took 6 weeks for them to come out and then me calling and asking for an update 2 months later to place order for part and me calling again a month later today to find out they no longer make part. So they are replacing recliner. Supposed to be replacement value.. Recliner has nail head trim and is grey. When I get the letter for replacement they offered me 270 for recliner. you can't even buy any recliner let alone one that is similar in color for near that price. I called Ashley and apparently the sales associate lowered the price of recliner at time of original purchase so cost of warranty was included.So they lowered the cost of recliner to 270. Oh and I tried to place a claim on couch because the seam is separating and it was denied for wear and tear. Was told if something was spilled on it it would be covered completely though. Called store and customer service which also was no help. I told them to go ahead and I want the same recliner for 270 she said it's discontinued but one similar is 550.00 or shop clearance. Wouldn't have even bought warranty if I knew this. Also she said it's completely normal for the seam to separate at 3 years. Which I have had couches that have lasted years. Will definitely be finding a new set with different furniture store.

Absolutely the WORST furniture buying experience ever. Sage helped me and at the time i thought it was great service. But she lied about everything! The cost, the delivery date, even the warranty that i paid extra for! And when my sofa did finally arrive it was damaged. Guess what? They havent sent a replacement like they said and so i tried to see if it was covered under warranty....i spoke with Sage over the phone the first time about a month ago, and now i just get put on hold or told they will call me back and they dont. Dont waste your time or your money. This place is pathetic.
Found a sectional online so I went into the store to purchase it, it was discontinued. I found something similar at a ridiculously higher price but it was what I wanted. And Tyler was nice and helped me find that ridiculously high priced sectional. I know what you are thinking why did I buy it? because I loved it. Now I have to wait for it to get back in stock. Ordered furniture (10k worth) for our new home at the beginning of October 2020. We were originally told it wouldn’t be later than February. I received a call a couple weeks ago that we are looking at June or July at best. My wife can grow and birth a human faster than they can receive and deliver furniture. Unacceptable.

So, im giving this 2 stars instead of minus 2 ONLY because whomever my husband spoke to at their corporate offices was very kind and helpful in finding another location to purchase from....long story short our sales person was Sage. She was very sweet and very pleasant until we were ready to pay a deposit. Our deposit was close to $1,000 and when we went to pay by debit card and then finance the rest, she insisted that we use cash....wait huh? What does it matter? We didnt have that amount of cash on us and Sage suggested we go the ATM or our bank and then come back. Now, when my husband asked why he couldn't use the card, she became clearly agitated and again, insisted on cash. But even then gave no explanation as to why. That's when my husband tapped me on the leg and said LET'S GO! Pretty big red flag and we felt she was being shifty. If the employees are pocketing cash deposits then MAYBE that's why all the deliveries are delayed or non-existent and why their furniture arrives broken half the time. However, the woman at their offices was super nice and we are talking about trying a different location. Good luck everyone! If you do visit the store in Fairlawn, ask for somebody else.
Ask for anyone other than Sage. Shes very sweet and very charming at first. Then, when you decide against something she suggests, she becomes a different person. She tried to hustle my husband and i out of almost $1,000 by demanding we use cash for a deposit....we left and then contacted their corporate offices the next day to ask if thats a common practice. The woman my husband spoke with was super nice and extremely apologetic. We are considering going back to Ashley Furniture, just not the one in Fairlawn. Good luck to those of you that do!
My husband and I purchased living room furniture back in October of 2020 as a gift for my parents. The buying experience was good and the gentlemen that helped us was great. Fast forward to today, the furniture still hasn’t been delivered. We were told February and then middle of March, and now they said they don’t even have a date. Even asked if we still wanted it after its been 100% paid for. I get everything has been delayed because of the pandemic, but this is getting ridiculous. We have even ordered a bed after the couch and are still waiting on it as well.
Spent $4000 buying a section couch, dining room table set and tv stand with a warranty. We were told that if they couldn't fix the item they would do one product replacement or give credit towards something new. About a year later I called to file a claim for damage done to our table top and was told that the claim was denied. Couldn't fix the damage, wouldn't replace it or give coverage, or refund the warranty cost. Called the store to see if they could assist and never received any follow up. Very disappointed in the customer service all around.
Got a new dining room table and it's outstanding. Good selection of furniture and the sales people are super friendly and don't pressure you to buy anything. If you go and spend enough money you might get an extra bonus discount...might. Me and my wife did.

WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Delivered to wrong address twice even after confirming change of address. Furniture is delivered pieces at a time with over 6 months of waiting. I honestly don't know how this place can be considered a respectable business. Would never buy anything again. Good quality furniture. Just have to wait 6 months to get it. Not worth it.

After 3 years of owning our sectional that we purchased from Ashley Furniture, it is falling apart!!!!!! The saleswoman, Toby, from the Fairlawn location told us that the faux leather on the sectional would hold up exceptionally well with our dog. Well she was WRONG! Our dog is 20lbs and we don’t have any children and the faux leather is worn and peeling in more than 5 different areas. We will NEVER be buying from Ashley furniture again. Terrible quality for the price you pay.

Went into Ashley to just look around because we are beginning to refinish our basement. We met Sage and she was such a pleasure to talk to that we purchased a new couch. The price was great and we are looking forward to delivery. I highly recommend Sage! Talking to her felt like taking to an old friend.

We were just at Ashley Homestore looking for a recliner for my mom and we had the great luck of being helped by Sage Recco! She immediately understood what we were looking for and also recommended some options that we hadn’t even considered. Sage is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We bought the recliner and we will definitely be back in the future!
Great staff on board here! Wide selection and they were running quite impressive deals as well! Managed to get 40% off my order. Now just have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it to ship to the store.

Horrible Service. We ordered in July and waited over 7 months for our couch (backordered from COVID), and the day of delivery came and I had to call to get a time estimate and they told me then that it was further backordered at least a month. No call ahead of time to tell me this, or discount off for them dropping the ball. They say they will reach out to you, but they never do. They constantly just transfer you to different departments. I understand things are backordered because of the pandemic but at least call to tell your customers!!
I wouldn't buy a lawn chair from Ashley furniture ever again. I purchased a sofa and love seat and as part of that sale they gave me a $300 gift card to be used towards a future purchase. When I tried to use it they informed me that the gift card can only be used on "regular priced merchandise". Everything on the store is on sale because thier regular priced are obscene. I also purchased their "Platinum Ultra-Premium furniture protection plan" for $300. I just found out the recliner pull handle that came off isn't a covered repair under the "Platinum Ultra-Premium furniture protection plan". At least that's what they told me when I finally got a hold of them. The phone number on this paperwork is disconnected too. This place is as shady as can be. Do not buy anything here for your own protection! Edit: I filed a complaint with the attorney general's office over the gift card and Ashley denied I was their customer and said they could find no record of the transaction.

My wife and I went to Ashley's looking for a sectional and found a beautiful piece that we are so excited to have in our home! We were hesitant about the cost since it was a little more than we were looking to spend, but Sage was able to give us a small discount which made it an easy decision. We also bought a mattress and box spring at their location for our guest room since our previous mattress from Ashley's is holding up great and is very comfortable. Our favorite thing about our experience was that we weren't pressured to make any purchases, and Sage acknowledged our concerns without making us feel crazy!
My family and I were looking for bedroom furniture. Ashley in Fairlawn, OHIO was having a sale so we stopped in. Found a great bedroom set and the sales associate, Sage, was great! She gave us great service and was friendly and attentive.
Walked into Ashley Furniture looking for entire new bedroom set along with living room set. Sage greeted us at the door and took it from there. I had done some browsing on the internet before and she really helped me choose between some ones I had narrowed down. I was unsure for the master bedroom but I believe she found me a homerun combo between the bed and bedroom set she pieced together. She took excellent care of me between the findings and finding the best deal for me! Look for Sage when you get in!
I have ordered something from this store twice and both times was promised a delivery date and then weeks after purchased the delivery was pushed back over a month!!! If you ever want your furniture I would suggest you go somewhere else as they never offer any apology for their error!! Horrible company to order from. Editing...to say you told me to call costumer service...surprise they did nothing...and guess what!! Got an email AGAIN today saying they were canceling our delivery date and maybe in October!!!!! This is a joke of a business...they take your money and give you no product for several months!!!
So the staff and buying experience was great, delivery was not an issue....My wife and I ordered our couch, love seat and bedroom dressers about 4 yrs ago now. Couch and love seat great! Bedroom furniture seemed well built and sturdy, but one of the drawers in my dresser, the guide rail broke off about a year and a half to two years ago now - so about 2 yrs into ownership. After multiple calls to Ashley asking for replacement drawer or parts or something we were directed to a furniture repair company where the guy basically told me how to fix the piece myself because “that’s the way we would do it.” And normally I’m all about that kind of thing but the furniture was expensive and I guess I expected better from Ashley. And now another rail broke off of one of my wife’s dresser drawers. Definitely not calling Ashley to get it fixed, I’ll end up having to do it myself....I figured for the price we paid the customer service would be a little better. Although I guess that’s more a reflection on the company that Ashley outsourced for their furniture repair. I guess I’m just not happy that they contract it out - own your stuff Ashley, fix the issues with your furniture. We re not even done paying on it (5yrs same as cash). Will probably find another place to buy items in the future. Guess my expectations should be lower. Oh well. Cheers
We ordered a 4-Piece Outdoor Seating Set back in May and was told our delivery date would be June 6th. This was ok with us since summer was just starting and we could wait. June 6th came and we never received any calls or emails. After a long chat with customer service we were told the furniture was taking longer due to Covid and we would getting the furniture July 9th. At this point we wanted to cancel the order but we already had two chairs that matched the set. July 9th came and no delivery and after another call we were told August 9th. Now as of today (August 18th) we still do not have any furniture and our new delivery date of August 25th has been pushed back. Ashley Furniture shouldn't sell products they don't actually have.

We purchased a new living room set and worked with Sage @ the Fairlawn location. She was amazing., so helpful, friendly, worked to get us the best deal. There was a great variety of beautiful furniture. Highly recommend the location and salesperson, Sage.
We ordered a couch w chaise along with a chair and a half with ottoman on 5/24 with a delivery of 7/25. It got pushed out a week then a month then to 8/18 and a week before was now pushed out to mid October. This is five months from our purchase date which is when we paid in full. This is not ok and when I cancelled the full order they provide no compensation either. I’ve heard so many horror stories from others with the same complaint. I cancelled finally because after several push outs I don’t even trust the October date.

The most horrible experience ever with this store. Before I ordered the items, I told the sales person specifically that TIME is of essence and the most important factor why I came here vs other stores. That didn't matter to these people. I was told 1 week delivery which was perfect. Original order was postponed from 6/26 order date to finally 8/13 and I was just informed on the 7/29. The process they choose to postpone the delivery was the most unethical - every week they would call to confirm the delivery on Tuesday and call again on Wednesday to tell me its pushed back another week. They lie to keep you as their customer. If lying is one of your pet peeves don't come here.
Very disappointed in my experience with Ashley HomeStore. Their communication has been horrible...Bought a couch, chair, ottoman and table beginning of May. June 20 delivery had to be re-scheduled due to product being back ordered (which I completely understand). Few weeks ago they called to confirm July 14 delivery. I even got a confirmation phone call 3 days before with a time frame for delivery. We took off work to be home for delivery and nothing showed up. After the delivery time frame had passed, I called customer service and the first agent said "oh it was scheduled but it wasn't communicated with our drivers" and then second customer service agent called back and said none of the products are ready and they are backordered again until end of August. I am having a hard time understanding why they would leave TWO voicemails confirming my delivery two days ago if the product was still backordered? All of this misinformation from the beginning of May has been very misleading and frustrating. Now it will be 3-4 months until the products arrive (if they don't keep delaying it each month like they have done twice now), and I wouldn't have purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture from the store had I known my living room would be sitting empty for this long. I doubt I will ever shop there again.

I was very excited when I originally went to Ashley’s and picked out my furniture. The staff was great and friendly. I am rating Ashley’s a one star because after purchasing furniture form Ashley’s, I would never buy from here again. Understandably, things have slowed down with production of the furniture due to the pandemic. But when you are spending over $2000 on furniture you think that you would get better communication about what is happening. It’s very frustrating to have your furniture being continually delayed to the point where it will be a couple months between the time you purchased the furniture to the time the furniture will hopefully be delivered. As well, the communication is terrible they give you a few days notice when they delay your furniture delivery. You would think that if the production was behind due to the pandemic they would know that your shipment would be delayed with enough time to give your more than 2 or 3 day notice. I have ordered some other furniture from other companies quite a bit after I ordered from here and the furniture from the other companies is arriving almost 3 weeks before my furniture from here. Hopefully all goes well with my next delivery date or else I may just cancel my entire order and go somewhere else.

I want to start off with the staff here is amazing and really helpful. The reason I’m giving them a one star is because I order my furniture and was told that it would take about 4-5 weeks to get my furniture, which was fine with me because I was moving into my new place and it worked out for me. Three days before my furniture was supposed to come they called and said it’ll be another month on top of the 4 weeks I waited for it. So now it’ll be 2 whole months after I bought it. Now it’ll be a whole month and I won’t have furniture in my place because I threw away my other stuff due to the late notice of my furniture being delayed. I was not given a reason why it was delayed just that it’ll be here in another month. I just don’t think it’s fair to me and others having to experience this kind of business.
Bought a section and tables for $3800.00, I made sure I wouldn't wait for two months without having it delivered. Told there is no issues and things will be deliveried on time. 3 days before my delivery date I'm called saying it would be another month. Called two weeks earlier to have it delivered a week early couldnt do but it would be delivered my expected date. Offer me 150 off my order today since it would now be July 15th. I wasnt to happy when I'm forced 65 days from my purchased date. Asked about a refunded, "we will cut you a check and it will take 7 to 14 days". Not a fan wouldnt recommend. Talked to scheduling three times im not sending an email to hear the same thing. Thanks for nothing.
Horrible customer service after your purchase. I spent well over $3000 in side tables and dining room chairs. One table came chipped, one with a bent arm mechanism, one missing a shelf, one chair falling apart. Poorly made 😡. Getting a hold of customer service is a joke. You have to send pictures and then call them back if they approve it you have to have them order the part and when it arrives YOU have to call and set up a service call and wait for them to call you back. In 6 months we have already replaced several things and it took months!!!! I have asked for my money back repeatedly. I have sent photos and then had to call in again to follow up. I have offered to drive the pieces back to the store and get a refund. We did a home remodel and made purchases from Lazy Boy, Value City, Levins, Big Lots and Best Buy and have not had 1 issue with any items purchased. Buyer beware the quality is not good. We are so disappointed and just want our money back.

I have to honestly retract my “positive” review because I am BEYOND upset and frustrated with Ashley. I ordered My furniture March 1st and of course because of the virus my delivery got extremely delayed. I also spend THOUSANDS. I was told the couch I ordered March 1st wasn’t in stock. And I had To wait until June. Last week I got a partial delivery and was just excited to get my dining room table and and chairs. THEN they brought the wrong chairs and said it was a sales person error. Now I have To wait another MONTH for my couch and my CHAIRS! I get the couch may have been delayed because of the virus. But the chairs had nothing to do with it and they basically told me to deal with it. When it was not my fault. So now I have To go another month with not being able to use my dining room table. My salesperson said I could text her whenever I needed help or questions but instead stopped responding to me! Please don’t waste your time shopping at Ashley’s. The customer service is terrible and won’t help. I was Told I’d get my second shipment June 5th and now it’s moved to June 19th. They will probably just keep pushing it back. You would think because of how long I ordered My furniture I would Be at priority for the couch but no. And mind you they are still advertising this couch as in stock online. I wish I could give zero stars.
Going into this location was good. The salesman found us exactly what we were looking for and even got the price down. I had to wait 2 weeks for delivery (which wasn't bad). The arrival date was March 5th. Everything came except the most expensive one which was my couch. I asked the delivery guys where it was and they said I had to call because it wasn't on the order. It took 2 days to talk to someone and they apologized and said it couldn't fit on the truck. I was very upset that they couldn't just call me and tell me this. After figuring this all out I was told it would be here April 1st.. another month. The epidemic happened and I get it, but I did not know that they had stopped delivery. It would have been nice to have a customer service call to let me know that my order was going to be delayed. Now that they are back open my husband calls today and all they were willing to do was give us a $75 refund and then tell us we still wont get it until June 13Th!! I never knew it was going to be such a headache buying furniture! I will be doing my furniture shopping somehwere else for now on. I spent $950 on a furniture set. I have owned my couch for 3 months and haven't even sat in it!!
Thanks to Emily Shetler we have finally ordered our bedroom set. It was not easy as we live an hour away and the location near me was terrible, but thanks to her we are getting our first set and then when we can afford to refurnish another room we will drive out the hour away to see Emily and find our perfect fit for that room. She just got a repeat customer from her amazing service today.
50 days goes by and I still haven’t received my furniture I can’t get in contact with the store or the email. Then on top of that they call me the week before this month telling me I’ll receive my furniture on this day the 9th @ 8:30-11:30 then they text me they’ll be here in 20 mins just to call and say they don’t have my couch that I already paid for. Playing to many games why would you tell me something when you don’t have my stuff I want a refund cause the information was incorrect.

Love getting my furniture from here. Got couch, side tables and kitchen table there couple years ago and recently just purchased a mattress and the porter sleigh. I am super excited for it to be delivered on 2 week!! Cant wait
Sales team was fantastic, helpful and not pushy. Delivery service was great. No fault to them but, a drawer on a dresser is broken. Still waiting on parts. Bed frame was missing hardware and we are still waiting on parts. No tracking number can be provided so who knows how long we will have to continue to trip over a bed frame in our bedroom for. Not much help from costumer service. For the amount of money we paid we expect quality furniture and not missing/broken pieces.

My first time ordering furniture from here on February 2nd spending over 6000$ and I am very disappointed. I was told I would get my furniture by February 20th then they called and said February 28th. The day before they came, which I took off work for they called and said they would not have all of it. I am finally receiving the last piece of furniture on the 14th of March. They would also constantly call the secondary number on the account which is someone that doesn't live with me but was put as a secondary contact just in case and I would not receive the phone calls. I received multiple calls on the same day from different people from Batavia New York telling me the same thing over and over. They called March 13th the secondary number to say the furniture would be here between 445-745 and today I just got a call at 2 pm saying it would be there in 15 minutes. 15 minutes go by and I get a phone call asking if I will accept early delivery and they would be here in 30 minutes. WHAT THE HECK. I do not recommend Ashley furniture to anyone and will never be back.

We are building a new house and are getting all new furniture so we came to check out their inventory. We worked with Sage and she was absolutely wonderful. She helped up rearrange stuff they had on the floor so we could make the best decision possibly for our purchases. She was patient and accommodating for all our ridiculousness. A couple weeks after our initial purchase we decided to change a couple of pieces before delivery and she was helpful in getting the items swapped out. Could not recommend them (and specifically Sage) enough. Incredible buying experience!

Had a wonderful experience purchasing sofas from Alicia Robinson today. She was kind, patient and extremely helpful. I would say one of the kindest salespeople I've ever worked with. We will definitely be back to this Fairlawn location to purchase a table and more soon.
Purchased a sofa and love seat the other day. Paid $200 to have furniture delivered and set up. Delivery company didn’t completely test controls on the love seat and there is an issue. Their independent service company finally called me 3 days later to schedule a service call. Service isn’t scheduled for 2 weeks and when I asked what time a technician will be at my home, the customer service rep. told me that they will call 1-2 days ahead with a window of time. I find this level of service to be pathetic and I’m done purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture.
The salesgirl was excellent and the price was fair. Those are the only two positive things I have to say about Ashley furniture. The most important should be the furniture itself, but sadly it is far from true! The furniture is garbage! And thus far the customer service is no better. You wait on hold for 20+ minutes every time you call. The delivery was 40 minutes late past the end of the 3 hour window you’ve already waited. Then the furniture itself... I ordered a dining room set. 8 chairs, 3 damaged, 2 soiled, that left 3 good ones?! Buffet has broken knob. Now I’m at the mercy of their “repair “ man to try and sort all of this out as they do not allow returns... even Value City Furniture has a 7 day return policy. We’ll see what happens, but if you can spend a few bucks more, I’d steer clear of Ashley. And since I’m already ranting... ask if the furniture is even in stock? You buy something then have to call a separate number only to find out the set is back ordered for literally weeks and weeks! Ordered our set first week of December, arrived January 31. 7 weeks... if you can’t supply it, don’t sell it OR at least make the buyer aware that they’re not getting it anytime soon?

Never ever ever ever buying from Ashley again. Kate was awesome and worked so well with us at this store. We didn't get the delivery add on because we are capable of getting it with our trailer and truck. So we waited 4 weeks for our couch to go to the warehouse and they did not give us our 5 piece sectional because one of the pieces was damaged. So then the warehouse did nothing to help us and said we had to call support and have them order a new piece. So we called and tried to connect to someone and we never had a call back. Tried again and no clarification of the piece that we were missing. The whole experience and communication was absolutely shocking. and HORRIBLE. i would give it a 0 if i could. I loved kate. HATED everything else.
Nice selection of furniture and styles, with a range of quality and price points. They have furniture from very high quality, top of the line pieces to things slightly better than what you might get at Wal-Mart. Staff is always friendly and eager to help, as most commissioned sales people are. I would have given four stars, but their delivery service is poor. Delivery charges are very high. Although your sales person might wave a portion of that cost if he/she thinks they might lose the sale. You cannot schedule a delivery with your sales person. You must wait 24 hours and call an 800 number to schedule your delivery. That is an irritating inconvenience, if that were the end of it. But you can't get through to schedule your delivery. I tried repeatedly for two days and finally called the store. Now, they can schedule my delivery in store! This happened with the last two of three orders I placed. All three orders, they called the day before anticipated delivery and rescheduled 2-5 weeks later. Still waiting on the final delivery!
Great furniture but it takes forever to get it delivered. They need to work on that a bit.. Over 5 months it took on my last order amd im still waiting..
What an amazing experience! I was at two other furniture locations until I went to Ashley. I met with their associate, Jon. What a Different experience completely... I was not smothered. Jon was attentive and truly he wanted wanted me to leave happy.
I used to get pressure headaches but now that I'm able to adjust my head sleeping position with my adjustable base the headaches are gone Thanks Mark for improving my sleep and overall quality of life

The staff at the Ashley HomeStore in Fairlawn are incredible. The customer experience they provided was excellent. Sales people were present on the floor for any assistance that I needed, without being overbearing or pushing sales. My in store experience was great, which is why I am leaving 5 stars. That being said, once you pay for your furniture and leave, you are at the mercy of the company. They are not as caring or considerate as the staffing in the store. They will provide you with inaccurate delivery information, and then screw you without a second thought. I purchased my furniture at the end of November, and when I called to schedule a delivery they told me Christmas Eve was my delivery date. I was not thrilled about the date, but decided it would be nice to have new furniture for the holidays. I work in retail, which makes it difficult to get Christmas Eve off, but I was able to do so in order to be present for the delivery window provided to me. I received 3 different calls confirming my delivery over the course of 3 1/2 weeks, the most recent was 3 days before the alleged delivery date. I got rid of my old furniture in lieu of new furniture, only to receive a call the day before delivery was supposed to take place, informing me that my furniture was still being manufactured. This company needs to be more cautious of the effects of their inaccurate delivery estimates. I would have had no problem keeping my old couches an extra week, but instead had an empty living room and plans for friends and family to come over for the holidays. I asked for and was offered no compensation, only insincere apologies. I reached out to the company over social media and received no reply. Unfortunately, this company has no problem making their hardworking and dedicated team members in the stores look bad when they fail to deliver on their false promises. Thank you to the Fairlawn staff for providing a good experience, even if the company you work for does not strive for the same level of customer satisfaction as you do.
0 stars to Ashley Furniture. 11/13 - In store purchase of a dresser, chest, two side tables, mattress, mattress protector, bed with head and foot boards. Told in store by manager it'll be a delivery time frame of 14 days and to call the next day to set up delivery. 11/14 - I call to set up delivery. Delivery date #1 is scheduled for 11/30. They say that delivery time frame is not 14 days, but 28. 11/26 - Four days before delivery date #1 I receive call from Ashley Furniture saying they cannot delivery on 11/30 and we have to reschedule. I have to wait hours for scheduling to call me.The earliest date we can push it back to is delivery date #2 12/12. Outside of the 14 and 28 days we were told. I ask for money taken off. The worker tells me they will write report for manager review and call back. Never received a call back. 12/6 6 days before delivery date #2 I receive call saying they cannot delivery on 12/12. I ask for shipping fee waived for this insane amount of delays I have to deal with. The first person I speak to says that cannot happen, because that is how drivers are paid. I have to wait hours for scheduling to call me. We set up date #3 which is 1/3. I ask for delivery fee waived, they allow that to happen. 12/30 4 days before delivery date #3 I receive call saying they cannot deliver all furniture on 1/3. Only the chest, mattress, and mattress protector can be delivered. Also- they cannot hold 2 delivery dates so I have to make sure on 1/4 someone from this wonderful company calls me to set up another delivery date for the rest of my furniture that was suppose to be in my new home 11/30. They told me the earliest date I could receive the rest of the furniture is 1/29. Asked for more money taken off. Worker said they will put in for a manager review and call back. Currently waiting for the call back and just hoping to get furniture at all. Through this whole process, none of the workers actually seemed sorry or apologetic that I have been sleeping on the floor since 11/10 while waiting for my furniture that was suppose to be relived 11/30. This whole process is going to end up going on 2 months. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. I will never let my family shop at Ashley Furniture in the future. I will take my business to a company that can actually help their customers and follow through.

On November 19th, I ordered 6 items totaling $1521.12 to include a recliner, a foundation twin, a chest of drawers, a nightstand, a twin mattress in a box, and a bed. On November 21st, my credit card was charged $192.14 for the queen size bed, which was incorrectly order, as it should have been a twin. On November 23rd, I sent a photo of the damaged nightstand. On November 24th, I received an email that a second nightstand was being shipped. On November 27th, I received an email that 3 items were being returned, which I presume was the damaged nightstand, as well as the queen bed and rails. On November 29th, I received notification that the twin bed and rails were being delivered, for a total of $213.49. On November 30th, I sent a photo of the second nightstand sent also being damaged. On November 30th, my credit card was charged $213.49 for the twin bed and rails, although I'm unsure why the queen bed was $192.14, yet the twin was so much more. On December 4th, I was notified that my credit card was credited for $192.14 for the return of the queen bed and rails. On December 11th, I received an email that yet another nightstand was going to be delivered, but it has yet to arrive. On December 13th, I received notification that the recliner, foundation twin, and chest of drawers would be delivered on January 3rd, although the original order back on November 19th said that the delivery would be in 1 to 2 weeks. On December 13th, I received an email that I was to receive a discount of $90 for the problems with the recliner, foundation twin, and chest of drawers. As for my credit card statement, the following has transpired with Ashley Furniture: On November 23rd, I was charged $192.14. On November 23rd, I was charged $261.51. On December 2nd, I was charged $213.49. On December 6th, I was credited with $53.38. On December 6th, I was credited with $192.14. On December 11th, I was charged $1067.47.
Though they have nice furniture, despite spending several thousand dollars who knows when you'll actually get your furniture, completely, or how many days you'll need off work waiting on them to show up with the wrong screws 5x times. When you complain they act like the fact they'll 'try again' to properly assemble your furniture is something you should be grateful for. When you get fed up of half assembled unsafe furniture and you tell them to just return it, they harass you saying you can't return it. 3 different assembly crews have told me this is normal. Maybe after 5 months my furniture will be assembled, but I'm still waiting. Go to Levins!

I called to make a purchase over the phone because I was having a difficult time online and Tiera went above and beyond to help me! It ended up taking many back and forth phone calls and over 30 minutes dealing with Synchrony, but she remained super friendly and helpful and determined to make it work. And it did! She was wonderful and I highly recommend working with her again!
My husband and I bought a couch and loveseat on 10/6/19, to be delivered 11/4. The day before delivery we received a call to let us know the loveseat would be delayed a week or two, and that someone would be in touch within a few days to set up delivery for it. A week went by with no communication from them, so I called the customer service line and waited on hold for 41 minutes, to have the associate tell me it would be delivered 11/25. Silly me didn't realize until the morning of the 25th that I'd never received a call with a confirmation of a delivery window, so I asked my husband to call and talk to customer service. 30 minutes later, they informed him they have a work order open for January but can expedite from the manufacturer and have it 12/20, and offered him $100 off. I can't believe we were never contacted by the company themselves to let us know about these issues, that WE had to call THEM to ask where our furniture is, and I don't have 45 minutes to wait on hold with customer service until a couple days from now. Unacceptable.

After reading reviews of others horrible delivery experience I thought I should add my own as clearly this is a MAJOR problem. My fiance and I had our mattresses delivered today. In store we were told that our old mattress and box springs were going to be taken without a charge. This is not happening since it was not on the invoice, so not only are we going to have to get rid of them ourselves, we will have to pay for it. Also, the base for our bed is broken and a technician is supposedly going to come out and fix it. My fiance called the store and was told that this is something they do not handle because it was made else where and she was going to speak with a manager regarding the matter (we are supposed to receive a call back regarding this). Also the scheduled delivery time is a joke. We requested and evening. They scheduled us for 11:30 am, and called this morning and told us they would be there at 9:30 am. Pretty sure neither of those times are even close to evening hours. Will consider updating my review once the above issues are handled, but it appears that the customer service on the delivery side is seriously lacking.
Brandon K was amazing! This gentlemen stuck with me even after I was upfront letting him know I would be relocating out of state and could not order there. How many sales people do you know would do that? He even went to the extent of writing down discounted prices for me so I could take to another Ashley furniture store in the south. Again I ask, what sales person do you know would do that? I was blown away. Do yourself a favor and ask for this guy next time you’re in!
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We just bought our first house and went to Ashley for our furniture. We purchased a sectional and a table set. We spent $4,000.00 on September 28th and set up a delivery date of October 22nd. On the 21st of October I receive a call that our furniture can't be delivered until the 31st. Super frustrating because we've been sitting on the floor. But whatever, it is what it is. Then, on the 30th, I call to schedule delivery, and it is moved back to November 4th. There goes our Halloween Housewarming party. Fine. Most recently, our delivery date has been pushed back to November 19th, but I'm sure it will be delayed again. So much for hosting our first Thanksgiving in our first house. If you need to talk to customer service, expect to wait on hold for at least an hour only to talk to someone who will need to call you back. If they tell you that call back will happen by the end of the day, expect it sometime next week. The best part? If we cancel this order, we will be charged a 12% freight fee. Go literally anywhere else. If you don't believe me, look at all of the recent reviews on consumer reports. This isn't just happening to me.

Sales experience was okay, but the expensive sectional we purchased less than 6 months ago is a huge disappointment. The cushions slide every time anyone sits on them, the cushion at the corner doesn’t line up with the cushions on either side, and the most annoying part is that the fabric “pills” like a cheap sweater. We did a lot of looking around before we purchased our sectional and would NOT do the same thing again. Shame on me I guess....

I went to Ashley furniture with my two year old toddler and my best friend in search of a new couch/sectional. Upon arriving my son got all excited and wanted to look at everything, right off the bat Kait made me feel very comfortable about my son wanting to see everything and even got him things to play with and even color while I was there. She truly took a huge stress off of shopping with a toddler. Whenever it comes to the couch part I started off looking at sectionals and fell in love, I checked them all out and found one I loved! Kait even got to show me different ways I could build it and even showed me how durable it is even with a toddler wanting to climb all over it! She helped me figure out which I wanted and we went through with the purchase! I applied for store credit which I got and she really helped me understand all of that! The whole process was very easy and went way better than I ever imagined! Kait did a great job helping us yesterday! Highly recommend seeing her if going to purchase furniture!!

My husband and I were out a few weeks ago shopping for granite tops. We decided on a whim to stop at ashley homestore to look at a couch for our new home renovation. We walked in to a VIP sale and was greeted by Sage. She took great care of us. She listened to what we wanted and didn't try to steer us in a different direction. She wasnt pushy and let us wander around while she answered any questions we had. What a great selection of furniture. My husband and I just bought a recliner from Ashley Furniture. We had been to several stores and the experience was getting to be exhausting... and then we walked into Ashley furniture and meet Sage. She made the experience so easy and pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and we were able to get exactly what we wanted for a great price and good quality. All I can say is I need living room furniture and I will be going straight to see Sage first!
We bought an electric reclining couch here and the price and quality can't be beat!!! And our sales lady sage was very patient and helpful in finding what we wanted in our price range. We will definitely be coming back when we're looking for one for the basement when it's finished!!
Only have a 1 star cause I had too. Ordered furniture on July 26 2019 from Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn Ohio. Still haven’t got the order and it’s 9/23/19. Partial orders and damaged items have plagued this order. Spent thousands of dollars and now get the shaft. Promised delivery on days with none arriving. Days wasted and missed work. What a JOKE. WORST COMPANY I have felt with and now I’m stuck cause I paid cash. Ashley got their money but I don’t have my furniture months later. Talked to store manager who says he can’t help me. Not his problem. I’ve lost time and money by taking days off from work only to have incomplete deliveries. Don’t buy unless you have months to wait to get your order in. On the plus side a got $100 in store credit, like I’m gonna buy something from this place again? NO.
The individual we worked with at the store was very helpful and we appreciated her help. The one star is for the delivery and centralized scheduling service. They have horrible delivery service and horrible central scheduling services. I have wasted so much time this week trying to get our furniture after I was essentially lied to by the delivery person. I rushed out of work based on what I was promised only to be told that he had to leave blatantly contradicting what he told me previously. The last person I spoke to in scheduling spoke over me almost the entire time without being willing to consider what I was saying. I had to essentially tell her that she needed to stop talking over me. Now I need to go pick up the furniture, having still paid for delivery and them refusing to refund the delivery fee. There is no consideration for the fact that people work or flexibility for delivery for people’s jobs or inability to pick up heavy furniture. Such a frustrating experience and a waste of time. I hope to never do business with Ashley furniture again! Our interactions with local businesses have been so much better!!

If Tiera Wade was not as nice as she was to my wife and I while we were shopping, this review would absolutely have only one star associated with it. We ventured into the store on a random Sunday to get some ideas and try to figure out the desired look for our first home; two hours later, we had a delivery date for multiple pieces of furniture to complete our home. Tiera Wade was an absolutely fantastic salesperson who I would have no hesitation working with again. The purchasing process was as easy as could be and was not tedious in the least. Fast forward three weeks, we are very excited for the arrival of our new furniture only to find out that several pieces (end-piece loveseat for the sectional and basement coffee table) were found to be damaged upon inspection; we were given no notice of this meaning had no idea that there would now be a delay for new pieces to be made while we sit on half of a couch at home. The next day, the call arrives from someone at Ashley to schedule the delivery date for our damaged items. First, we will be waiting ANOTHER THREE WEEKS for the items to be manufactured. Second, the coffee table was marked as delivered so had I not asked about it, the item would not have arrived much to our surprise in three weeks. Now for the rating - as I said, the only thing saving a one-star review was Tiera's friendliness while at the store. The delivery people were also very nice and easy to work with (as well as being as surprised as we were that there was no heads-up call). There was absolutely no urgency with getting our replacement items to us hence the second three-week wait. The representatives that called had a very 'welp, good luck not our problem' demeanor. Why were replacement items not already in the manufacturing queue to save the sale and potential future business? As nice as Tiera was, we will probably not be back to Ashley HomeStore as a whole; this mess of a delivery process has cured us of working with Ashley in the future. Unfortunate - the selection was great for what we were looking for and I saw things that would look great in our house when shopping in the future...

So i went to target and bought very similar table for $69. 99. To some up their furniture is nice but their gift cards are basically worthless and this business practice seems shady and has left a bad taste in my mouth

We ordered furniture to furnish our entire apartment at the beginning of June to come on July 31st. After more than half of our furniture never came with no warning, they told us the rest would come on August 14th. Which was frustrating because we were then missing most of our things. Well today is now August 14th and after no phone call confirming our delivery, we called them to find out that our things are not coming until August 21st now. With no warning. Oh, and half of our bedroom package was never even ordered. And then they called 10 minutes later to tell us it was delayed until August 28th!!!! Every person we call has no answers and will "call us back" and never do. We have no idea what is happening and when we will get our things and no one from this company can help. We will never shop here again.
Very poor customer service. Had 2 family members different states had horrible service. One of them has been waiting 5 weeks for delivery,when asked for a refund,they were told there would be a 10% fee.They were given a 2-4 week window,they are now at week 5. I can understand if things happen,but when a company will do nothing to compensate,and won't communicate with the customer,there is a problem. What a terrible company. High prices and lousy service is what you get from them
Would give zero stars if I could. Over priced, cheap furniture that does not last, and they lie to you to get you to buy warranties that do not cover anything you would actually need. Will never buy anything from here again.

I had an extremely difficult time canceling an in-store purchase. After three weeks and five or six calls to the store, I STILL haven't received a credit for the purchase. Their online customer service is even worse though. I made an online purchase and three different customer service representatives told me three different delivery dates. I couldn't get a consistent answer out of anyone. They ended up scheduling the delivery on the wrong date and the only date that I was available was full too. I'm never one to write negative reviews, but I'm just so extremely upset with Ashley Furniture (both the Fairlawn store and the online support) and I would never recommend them for absolutely anything.
DONT buy from this company. What a nightmare, they lie about delivery dates and times. They will drag you through the mix trying to save a sale. The customer service is worst I have experienced, I asked for the supervisor and the young lady refused to get them nor would she cancel my order. Waste of time and energy. Sick of companies treating their customers like garbage, I will be looking for a better solution and I will be telling everyone I know about my horrible experience!!
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for my friend who ultimately purchased more items this way. No pressure sales and a great attitude sales person really made it a nice experience. I will be going back when I'm in the market for furniture.

Hi all. So I recently moved out of my home and had to furnish an entire apartment! Sucks ikr? So I went out and bought a tv, air bed and computer desk and chair to get me through the week and I went to Ashley. Figured it was best since my credit is good but not great . I chose what I needed and had a Wonderful sales associate sign me up for a couple credit accounts. So far so good . Delivery was scheduled for two weeks later which was disappointing but Hey! I've been a college student. Two weeks with a TV and an air bed? No problem. On day 12 they call me and say there will be a delay on delivery. I wasn't able to get back to them that day. Day 13 I try calling and get "Sign up for us to call you back" I did, they didn't. So scheduled delivery day. Well it seems they tried to deliver at 9 am (I get up at six) and couldn't. I notice a call from 10 am at around 11 and call. New delivery schedule in 2 weeks. Ok that time they came through. With 1 of the items I ordered. Long story short it's been 2 months and I just wanted 2 hrs a day for 2 days canceling the rest of the order. Oh and by the way. I get maybe an hour a day couch time on work days and 4 he's on my one day off a week and the cushions on the couch, even though I've been rotating them, are shot. Going to need to replace them. Here is my recommendation. DONT EVER GO TO ASHLEY.

I've never had a better experience furniture shopping than last night at the Fairlawn Ashley Furniture store!! I had some problems when trying to order a few pieces online so I went to the store. Tiera was so extremely pleasant to work with! She went above and beyond to figure out what the problem was and to correct it. I will definitely be back and will ask for her the next time I buy furniture.

We are purchasing a new house and needed to find the best deals for as much furniture as we needed. Kait was awesome at helping us through the whole process. She was knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we had honestly. We ordered 2 reclining couches the week of March 4th. We understood the estimate of delivery was an estimate. But here we are May 9th with still no furniture! Called the customer service center on April 27th, rep stated the furniture wouldn't be in until June at least. I request to have the order cancelled due to the items being extremely late. I called yesterday May 8th and Kaitlin proceeds to tell me no return has been processed nor started. So she tells me it's supposed to be delivered this Saturday May 11th. Tries to give me a $125 in store credit or $75 back to our card. I state that I'm not interested and just wanted our refund. She states she noted the account and the refund will be 7 to 10 business days. So I called today to follow up since we've been getting bad communication. I speak with Mike from scheduling, he tells us the account was noted for the things offered by Kaitlin but the refund hasn't been initiated. I'm livid at this point, he tells us a different delivery date after putting us on hold of May 22nd. Kaitlin never put me on hold to check with the manufacturer just threw that date out of the air. So needless to say the worst experience I've ever had with the company. I'll never do business with them again!

We both were looking for new furniture and found exactly what we wanted. We had an issue with a sectional couch that ended up being to big for the room. Went in to start looking for furniture for our new home. Wanted to get ideas but ended up furnishing 5 rooms with the expert help of Stephanie Beeson. She was incredible and gave me great design tips. She can even come to my house once we move in to help with accessories. I would highly recommend her!
Great place to buy furniture. (If you have a great credit score.) Also they have lots of payment plans you can set up. So you can afford the really expensive stuff.
Edited on 4/4/19 Purchased a couch on 3/13/19. It was supposed to arrive on the 29th between 5pm-8pm. A little late, but thats fine. We got our confirmation call the day before the delivery. Then the couch never arrived, and we never we recieved a phone call explaining that it would arrive late. Now we are told to wait another full week to HOPEFULLY get the new coach, after already having the old couch removed. Customer service had absolutely no idea where the new couch was and just repeated the same rehearsed lines. After over an hour, there was no resolution to the problem. Absolutely terrible experience. Will not be returning. The terrible experience continues... Once again our order was a no show and again we received no notification that the order was being pushed back a second time. Corporate asked that I contact them via email, I did and recieved no response. I then proceeded to contact customer service for a 3rd time, and once again they had absolutely no idea where our couch was, told us that the delivery would be delayed yet another week, and that they could do nothing to fix the problem. This has been the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. I will never be returning, and will be sure to recommend one of the many other furniture stores in the area to all friends and family. Complete joke of a company. I wish 0 stars was an option.
Tiera was absolutely AMAZING. She greeted me at the door and got right to business. She asked all the right questions so that we could find the perfect new couch. I have a cat with claws who used my previous couch as a scratch pad. When I told her this, she made sure to stay away from fabric that could be destroyed. She made this process extremely pleasant. Her co-workers were great too! I felt very at home and no one pushed me into buying anything. She talked to me like I was her friend and had my best interest at heart. I highly recommend seeing her. Her personality lights up a room. You will not be disappointed! I will be purchasing more from Tiera!

I stopped in today with my 3.5 year old daughter. My wife and I had been browsing online for couches and I wanted to stop in before purchasing. My daughter and I were greeted by Day and she was amazing our whole visit. I ended up buying the couch today because Day was so helpful and patient with my daughter. She even took her back to the kids furniture and let her play on the beds while the paperwork was being done. My daughter had so much fun that she asked if she could spend the night in the store! Also, special thanks to the employee who went and got my daughter fruit snacks because she couldn't have any of the hard candy in the candy dish on the counter. Seriously, you have amazing employees at this store!
I bought a kitchen table set about 2-1/2 years ago and paid extra ($130) for a 5 year warranty called "Platinum Ultra - Premium Furniture Protection Plan. " Based on what the sales associate told me and on the warranty sheet itself, it provided "complete accident coverage" - a "100% Money Back Peace of Mind Promise. " One of the chairs developed tears on the side of the covering of the seat cushion. They denied the claim (claim #71430). One Ashley person said they denied it due to the warranty only covering "leather materials" - not synthetic materials- mine was synthetic. Another Ashley person said it was due to the warranty not covering "scratches. " I feel like I was given the runaround. I feel like I was robbed by a thief. I will never buy Ashley furniture again because of their lack of integrity and customer service.

Do Not Buy from Ashley Furniture! We spent 10k at their store and they refuse to stand behind a manufacturer defect. We even had a technician come and and tell us that this is something they should stand behind but they refuse! We will never buy from Ashley again!
Exceptional customer service. Angie was informative but extremely personable. The ladies who helped check us out were also great. My boyfriend and I walked out happy with our purchases and talked about how important the people are when going anywhere.

I am moving to a new apartment and I decided it was time to buy a nice new couch for my living room. I had the pleasure to work with Toby. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. She really listened to my wants and needs and understood my style and what I was looking for. She was also extremely helpful when it came to figuring out what would fit well and provided me with plenty of options and her true opinion on pieces that I was looking at. Not only all that, but she did her best to get me the best deal she could. I am so thankful to have worked with her and she made the process a little easier. they offer very friendly credit programs that have really high penaltys for late payments turning the loan into high intrest immediately making the loan sky rocket until payed off. DO NOT BUY FROM CROOKS!!!
They have the best staff that care and will work with you.I had to return some furniture because it was too big and they were able to accommodate that even though normally they don't and work with us to find pieces that would actually work for us.

I am a bit disappointed,everything was 5 star until 5 minutes ago. I purchased a sectional and went back to the store to use my gift card to purchase pillows. I was misled by the sales team that I’d be able to use my $100 gift card to purchase three $29.99 clearance pillows. I went into the store today and was told by my sales person that I’d have to pay $70 on top of the gift card to purchase the pillows. How could this be? I was informed that I’d have to pay full price to use the gift card, because it isn’t good on clearance items. I feel that I was given the wrong information and this store will not stand behind what they say during the “sale”. I did find other furniture to purchase, but will be taking my business elsewhere now...thank you for being customer friendly and standing behind your promise.

i purchased furniture at your store on the Memorial Day sale of 2018 at the sale I purchased a couch a coffee table a bed and a dining room set. when the time came for the furniture to be delivered the bed was damaged from delivery company when I saw the bed was not even the one I purchased and the coffee table was not there also. a customer service rep then called and said the bed and coffee table wont be ready till October I'm like its June I have to wait that long to get it. so I cancelled the ordered for the bed and coffee table. I the went Levin Furniture got the same bed and coffee table and got it in a week. The Furniture I did keep from Ashley was very disappointing the sectional cushions have sharp feathers poking out throughout the whole entire sectional. I ask them to take it back and a refund and all they said was I had 24 hours from the time it was delivered will at that time it was not happening this started with the first month. customer service is a joke they don't care and the protection plan is a wast of money.I would have been better off buying Big Lots furniture then Ashley very disappointing with poor quality and stuck paying for the crap.

On November 5th 2017, my husband and I went to Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn Ohio to purchase a sectional. We found one we loved, and we're assured it'd be delivered within 3-4 weeks. That time came and went, and we were called early December and told it was on an extended delay, and wouldn't be delivered until December 22nd. We were frustrated, but they told us it would be there in time for our family Christmas celebration, and offered $75 off our bill or a $150 gift card. We did not yet decide which to choose. We called to confirm delivery a few days before the 22nd, and we were told it was on another delay, and wouldn't be scheduled until mid January. It completely ruined our Christmas, and my family had no where to sit. Our next delivery was scheduled for January 14th, and I thought that would be it. On January 8th, I was called and informed it is being delayed yet again. This is the fourth time they've told us it would be delivered, and the third delivery date they've given us. It's months later, and we still have no couch! All we've been offered is a $75 gift card??? We are at a point where we are ready to cancel our order and take our business to Levin.

My family just bought a king size bed and bunk beds. We was working with Karen and Ann. And I just wanted to say those two lady's were wonderful.They were so nice and polite, and when we got confuse about an item they sat down with us and explain it to us again.
