As a millennial, I usually rely on others’ reviews for making purchases online. When it came to purchasing a couch there’s an unbelievable amount of stores/variety online but I didn’t feel comfortable making such a large purchase without feeling the material or softness (and getting exactly what I wanted). So my wife and I went to an actual store and I’m pleased to report it was an incredible experience. Kait was AMAZING. Super friendly and great to work with. She wasn’t pushy and none of the staff stocked us in the store like car salespeople. We got the couch we wanted and even at a lower price than it was on the floor/even better than a competitors price. Highly recommend going in! Thanks again, Kait!

Terrific experience at Ashley Furniture. Our sales person, Brad Donovan couldn't have been more patience and friendly. Also, whenever we had a question every option was explored to answer it. We ended up purchasing a sofa that we would not have noticed without Brad's help. Never pushy, but always ready to help us.
These guys did everything right as soon as we walked in the door. We waited all the way up to when they said it would be delivered (after attempting to bump the delivery date due to my wife’s surgery). It was waiting about 3 weeks total to have the chair delivered. My wife and I felt very comfortable with the purchasing process, only we weren’t told about the different options that the chair had to offer (found out through reading the ext paperwork the chair had on it) . I had to do my own digging into the different models of the chair that our salesman missed during the purchasing process that I would have paid for. Not sure who to talk to about that, but maybe someone can reach out. Overall pleasant experience
What a beautiful store and awesome selection. My wife and I went in to buy a sectional and we got to work with Trevor. What a great salesman. We had a very general idea of what we were looking for and he helped us narrow it down to the truly perfect choice. Nice guy, very knowlegable, and so patient with our indecisiveness. I came the store and make oder estimate shipping in month, but next day I got text message my oder will be deliver next year. I stop at store again to canceled my oder and the lady take care that and she said check will mail to my house. Right now over 2 weeks I didn’t get check refund and I called back they say my oder not cancel yet, I asking guy cancel that for me and still waiting for check refund. Bad service and bad experience I have never seen before

While visiting the store our sales associate, Kait was friendly and knowledgeable but not overbearing. We picked out a bedroom set but left to look at other options. I have been shopping for a sofa for a while. I had specific dimensions and needed something comfortable but durable. The online pictures never reflect the real thing. I went into the store. Dave met me within seconds, asked what I was looking for, and suggested a sofa that checked off all the boxes. The store overall was well organized. Each setup had a designer touch showcasing the "livingroom" fully furnished. The price was right and the sofa will be delivered just in time for house guests. I will definitely shop here again.

All the staff is very friendly and very attentive. We were helped by David and Kassandra. Both were very helpful finding our couch and mattress. They were very patient with us answering all our questions. David even helped keep our kids busy and played with them while we sorted things out. Came in a couple days later and Kassandra helped us out and she was very friendly and answered all 100 questions my wife had. Would 100% buy from them again. UPDATE: As it appears they’re just good sales people. After leaving the store it has been a nightmare. We thought about exchanging our couch so our order was on hold until we switched for different couches however we ended up keeping the same couch but had to redo the loan and The loan service we originally were going through (synchrony 60 month) was down the day we came back so they temporarily put it on the other loan (12 month) and said as long as we switched the loan back before our first bill we were fine. We tried to switch the day after the couches arrived and were told because the couches were delivered we’re stuck with the 12 month loan which is much higher payment we didn’t plan for. NEXT ISSUE: We also had ordered a BeautyRest Black Hybrid firm mattress. They delivered the wrong mattress which was a much cheaper uncomfortable bed that me and my 6 months pregnant wife had to sleep on for weeks before they could deliver the correct mattress. Now after weeks of waiting around they finally deliver the correct mattress and give us a defective mattress that sinks on one side and now going through an annoying process of pictures and videos to show the defects. Who knows if they will lets us exchange it and if they do who freaking knows how long it’ll take seeing how it took almost a month the first time around. VERY dissatisfied and feel as if we’re owned money back and will be speaking with whoever I need to. Never shopping with Ashely again.

I was having a sad experience at the Cuyahoga Falls Ashley and she saved me! In person, she was knowledgable, knew what I wanted, and did everything she could to make me happy. Two days later I am still smiling about my furniture buying experience! Go to the Fairlawn store - while I was at that store, the other employees were kind and also seemed to know what they were doing, especially the manager working that day. For a holiday (July 4th), no one seemed bitter about working and all wanted what's best for their customers. Thank you Kate, you are a true gem!!

I was in with my mom to purchase a dining table and chairs, but we both have very different tastes and had to look at a lot of different sets to find one we both agreed on. Dave Backinoff was both patient and knowledgeable and took the extra time to help us find something we liked. He was very helpful and went the extra mile when getting our order placed and following up the next day when I wanted to add items to our order. It was a really positive experience thanks to Dave!

Had a wonderful experience in the store. The Sales Associate was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our question and she was very helpful from start to finish. I purchased our bed online from Ashley but went in the store to purchase the mattress. My only issues was once our items were delivered, the smart base with all the bells and whistles was not the one we received. The one we receive was missing the vibrating feature and the lumbar feature and those features were the ones that attracted us to the adjustable base we chose. I have put a call in to the store so hopefully they will bring us the correct base to rectify my issue.

Despite not getting anything because we chose to go online I'd recommend this place anyone to looking get furniture. Our salesperson was more then accommodating to our wants and needs and not trying to sell us unneeded items, he was straight to the point. He was even willing to work with us budget wise. Ultimately, we did get the stuff online due to payment limitations but definately would choose them again to get more furniture 😊 4.5/5 stars just for the slight limitation

3 of the 4 women at customer service were focused on their cell phones. The only one who wasnt on her phone (Cass?) g)reeted us and took good care of us. But when she had a question for one of the others on a procedure and the other agent didnt even look up from her phone and just nodded as our agent was showing her somethong for our question. (Although the rep who gave us the good service was not the one who rang up my purchase))

Cass did an awesome job explaining the different matresses and made sure we tried many different ones to ensure we made the perfect choice. Although I still think our salesperson Cass did an awesome job selling, I'm changing my rating due to experiences since the purchase. Once our delivery was complete, we quickly realized the adjustable base was not the same as the one shown to us in the store. We immediately reached out to the store and after a few days they responded with, "oh, if you want the base we were showing you (and one we agreed to buy) you'll have to pay another $2000 (no where near accurate). But hey, we have this Ashley brand one that's kinda similar and well.... guess we can exchange it with the Beautyrest we sent you". When that one was delivered, the brand new mattress tore from lifting it up to change out the base. Now still waiting for a replacement mattress and they still refuse to give me the base we tried out and said we wanted.

My last shopping experience was terrible. I went in the store looking to spend a credit. I found a large mirror that I was interested in purchasing. Got the item to the front and was met with resistance from Dave. He was rude and unwilling to listen to me concerning the credit the I had with Synchrony bank. After going round and and round with him I finally was able to complete the purchase. I had to ask for help in getting the mirror out of the store. To sum it up Dave was unprofessional. His customer service left alot to be desired. I won't be returning to Ashley anytime soon!! Thank Dave for losing a customer!!

I have made most of my purchases through the Fairlawn, Ohio store and my last sales person I dealt with was Joshua Coudriet who happens to be the general manager of the store. Joshua is very knowledgeable, and helped us with all our questions and got us squared away. I would recommend Ashley furniture and the Fairlawn location if you are in the market for furniture!

Sage is a wonderful salesperson. Not pushy, aggressive or "stalky" like most other stores' salespeople. She listened to our wishlist, directed us to appropriate merchandise and let us take our time. She sent us home with pictures, measurements and prices for the pieces we liked and gave us her schedule so we could talk with her if we decided to order. We did go back and order, and are looking forward to our "grown up" furniture! The showroom is clean, large, bright and successfully displays "rooms" of furniture without being overcrowded. Pricing is obvious and associates are quick to note sales. We highly recommend!!

Kait is extremely knowledgeable on the products she sells, but more importantly, her enthusiasm, caring attitude, and warm personality was on full display. I’m an automotive aftermarket sales manager with over four decades of sales experience. I’ve always maintained that “people buy from people”, not companies. This is our second time purchasing furniture for our home from Sage at Ashley furniture! She is extremely accommodating and made the buying process extremely simple
Normally I do not spend the time do leave comments. However, as soon as you walk in they greet you, you are honestly unable to walk away without getting the third degree. We started looking around on our own, less than 2 minutes later, guess what? The greeter was right there. Although we knew what we were in there to look at and purchase we still felt pressured. Asked for pricing on a sofa, made us feel like we were getting the deal of the century, well president’s day at least. Then asked for the price if we included the chair and ottoman, it more than doubled the price. Wait? What? More than doubled?? Said, ok just the sofa then. The rest of the interaction truly felt like the 80’s used car salesman pushing that amazing car that ends up being more costly than a brand new car. Not even two minutes out the door, we got the text message to do this. I get it is the expectation of the company to push the sale. Whatever tactics you are pushing your associates to do, it may work with many of your customers. However, let your customer know you are there, let them look, check up on them, offer some details on sales or what they ‘truly’ like or love about a product, look or detail, then allow the customer to continue on their own. The pressuring tactic is distasteful. I will be willing to buy more if I didn’t feel like the person helping me wasn’t being forced to sell to me, such desperation.

And she did a credit card app that I got approved for to where I got 12 months 0% financing and a delivery date that fitted my busy schedule. Lazy staff, poor management, horrible issue resolution practice. Their employees loafing on the furniture on their phones, snake oil sales managers. Get this: we purchased an item for pickup, asked them to validate it was in new, excellent condition, they wrapped it sent it out with us, at home we found damage and there #@%$@ manager tried to blame us for the damage, Total low life. This company SUCKS! Customer support argued, their manager pawned us off to someone without authority. Horrible company!

We were hoping for a great delivery and assembly experience today after discussing concerns prior to scheduling a delivery date for a bed, adjustable base and headboard. It was quite the opposite and we are extremely dissatisfied and are still waiting for resolution. Before planning the delivery we made another trip to the store to discuss what we expected and we were promised everything would be assembled and we would love it. Instead we now have a bed that can’t be used and it’s just sitting there due to the headboard just leaning on the wall. Also, the headboard arrived with a dent in it. This is such a disappointing purchase from a core business that deals with furniture. We also called the local store where we purchased everything and asked for the manager. I was told he would call me back and I have yet to receive a call. Please have the Fairlawn local store manager call us ASAP to get this resolved.

I was calling Ashley in Fairlawn from my home in California, to check on getting a recliner for my Mom. From the first phone call with Kait, everything was 100%!!! She went out of her way to provide me with many possibilities of chairs that would work in Assisted Living situations, then provided me with photos, specs and details. She also suggested which ones might work best, and arranged to set up delivery. The transparency was severely lacking and I decided to walk away from 2 pieces I really liked because of that. The fact that the sales people have the ability to negotiate and write down arbitrary numbers on a digital tablet felt shady. So I took pics of the pieces and will be sourcing them on line. I would have bought them there but the ick factor was too great.

Visited the Fairlawn store, Kait greeted us at the entrance with a smile. We were interested in a sofa sleeper. Kait went out of her way to show us the different floor models and the quality of the sleeping mechanism and mattress. Unfortunately we ended up being out of the delivery of parameter. My Boyfriend and I were looking for a new sectional to have in our living room that would be able to handle kids and dogs. The staff there was wonderful and very helpful. Tessa helped us out I definitely recommend asking for her. She made the whole experience great!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Me and my family recently purchased a home for 275k dollars and we went into this store and spent and additional 11,500.00 cash for all new furniture for the new house. At first Kait our sales specialist was fantastic she even gave us her personal cell phone number incase we needed anything. Well when the 3rd party delivery company that Ashley Furniture hired came with the new furniture one of the guys literally pulled my screen door right off the front of my house frame and everything because he could not figure out how to disengage the lock holding it open and put too much force on it I was standing there watching him do it and he tried to say he did nothing it just fell so I called Ashley Furniture they got me in touch with the delivery company and I filed claim for home damage which the delivery company denied and when I called Ashley Furniture they said they couldn't do anything for me because it was a 3rd party company " which they hired " and as soon as we paid for the furniture with cash kait won't even return messages to us. Now I have to pay out of pocket for a contractor to fix my home and then pay for the lawsuit I'm filing on Ashley Furniture and their moving company.
Kait did a fantastic job at the Fairlawn store and spent a lot of time working with us to find a new mattress and adjustable base that will fit our combined sleep needs. She was very knowledgeable and able to walk us through all the pros and cons of each mattress style that we tried. We’ll be back!
I was shopping there today for a bedroom suite and I had the most pleasant experience. My sales representative was Sage Recco and she was a delight! She made something that could of been very tiring a pleasant experience. I will certainly tell all my friends about her and the store in Fairlawn. Called the store to see if they had home theater seating to check out on the show room floor. Salesman named James Z. answered promptly and helped us out and let us know that the exact model wasn't available but a similar one was. “Buyer Beware” I purchased the “high end” couch and loveseat in May with the additional warranty. Already the couch is sunken in, creaking, making all these weird noises. I contacted Ashleys to use my warranty and the additional warranty that I paid extra for doesn’t cover this and I should try the manufacturer warranty, so I did that. I sent the pictures, filled out the form and explained you can’t see anything broken due to the fabric underneath the cushions being black. They responded with denying my claim due to “perception” and “normal wear and tear” They can’t even bother to come and take a look at it. So if you want to actually sit on your furniture I would go elsewhere. Instead of selling extra warranties that are useless they should advertise this furniture is not to be used but just looked at.

I highly recommend Kait and Sage at Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn. We moved from out of state and Kait helped us choose a number of needed furnitire items. A sleeper sofa ended up not fitting in basement entrance and Kait spent hours helping me figure out a solution. Some items have taken weeks to arrive, but we were contacted often regarding progress. Two items ended up on sale at a nearby brick and mortar and Ashley priced match immediately upon us reaching out.They have been very fair with delivery prices and VERY communicative throughout process. It has been a good experience

Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with! We have been waiting since May for our order! Our original delivery date was in August but no one ever called or let us know it would not be here. I’ve contacted customer service several times for an update same thing every time we don’t know when it will be here. It was our first and last time shopping at Ashley’s furniture! They have “looked into it” ever time they say “I don’t know”.
Worse service, stay out from these store, they have awefully delivery service. Very disappointed.
Would NOT recommend Ashley HomeStore. I ordered a bed frame and waited since July to receive it. They shipped a white headboard with ivory side panels and footboard. Upon delivery, I was not asked to inspect the color nor should I expect the pieces not to match. When dealing with customer service I was told that they will extend an "extreme courtesy" to replace the mismatch pieces because I had already accepted the pieces into the home. I will now have to wait another 18-24 weeks for them to replace the items. When asked why the factory did not "check" the colors, I was told the factory lighting could have made them seem similar. So their people do NOT need to inspect the product for accuracy but I HAVE to inspect the product and they are doing me the favor for their mistake. I will not be purchasing any more products from Ashley in the future.
BUYET BEWARE! Terrible company. I should say until my most recent experience I loved this company. My whole house is Ashley furniture. I purchased a couch and recliner set 3 to 4 years ago. Purchased a 5 year warranty as well for both items. I had to make my first claim recently as the back of recliner basically snapped off and a bracket needs replaced. Took 6 weeks for them to come out and then me calling and asking for an update 2 months later to place order for part and me calling again a month later today to find out they no longer make part. So they are replacing recliner. Supposed to be replacement value.. Recliner has nail head trim and is grey. When I get the letter for replacement they offered me 270 for recliner. you can't even buy any recliner let alone one that is similar in color for near that price. I called Ashley and apparently the sales associate lowered the price of recliner at time of original purchase so cost of warranty was included.So they lowered the cost of recliner to 270. Oh and I tried to place a claim on couch because the seam is separating and it was denied for wear and tear. Was told if something was spilled on it it would be covered completely though. Called store and customer service which also was no help. I told them to go ahead and I want the same recliner for 270 she said it's discontinued but one similar is 550.00 or shop clearance. Wouldn't have even bought warranty if I knew this. Also she said it's completely normal for the seam to separate at 3 years. Which I have had couches that have lasted years. Will definitely be finding a new set with different furniture store.

Absolutely the WORST furniture buying experience ever. Sage helped me and at the time i thought it was great service. But she lied about everything! The cost, the delivery date, even the warranty that i paid extra for! And when my sofa did finally arrive it was damaged. Guess what? They havent sent a replacement like they said and so i tried to see if it was covered under warranty....i spoke with Sage over the phone the first time about a month ago, and now i just get put on hold or told they will call me back and they dont. Dont waste your time or your money. This place is pathetic.
Found a sectional online so I went into the store to purchase it, it was discontinued. I found something similar at a ridiculously higher price but it was what I wanted. And Tyler was nice and helped me find that ridiculously high priced sectional. I know what you are thinking why did I buy it? because I loved it. Now I have to wait for it to get back in stock. But this was a good shopping experience. Thank you Tyler and Ashley Furniture.
As a first time furniture buyer it was important to me to have the right couch,Sage was so helpful and really listened to all the things I wanted and let me know my payment options as well as hooking me up with the best option for me!! If you go find Sage,she will hook you up!
Not a huge fan of furniture shopping but.... my husband and I where met at the door by a wonderful young lady , Sage who was patient, understanding and both professional and friendly .... it made a dreaded chore into a pleasant way to spend the day.... also so happy with our purchases .... thank you Ashley home store and your amazing sales team .
Was moving relatively quickly into a new house that had far more space than we were used to. My wife and I went into the Fairlawn Ashley store to look around and see what we could come up with. As a lot of our old furniture we gathered over the years needed replaced, we needed furniture for the whole house. Sage met us at the door, and showed us around. She asked us what we were looking for, and took time to offer suggestions. She even looked at some of the pictures of the living room with dimensions from zillow to find out what would fit and where. Honestly I like to shop around for deals before making a big purchase, but Sage found us exactly what we were looking for, mapped out what would fit and what wouldnt, and what would match the house and wood floors. She even got us a great discount on the furniture. I walked in looking for maybe a couch at most, and instead left with dressers, couches, tables, dining room table and server, swivel chairs, and a bedroom set. I loved her suggestions and with moving I had enough stress over everything else. It was great getting everything we needed, liked, and delivered. I would highly recommend.
First time buying furniture first hand and my saleswomen (Sage) was extremely helpful and patient! Very knowledgeable and even gave me tips on decorating my living room! I left feeling like I got an amazing deal! I would give 10 stars if I could and will definitely be returning !

I went to multiple furniture stores today Brandon at Ashley furniture in fairlawn was patient..nice suggestion on furniture and recommendations in comparison of chairs was just a wonder salesman
So, im giving this 2 stars instead of minus 2 ONLY because whomever my husband spoke to at their corporate offices was very kind and helpful in finding another location to purchase from....long story short our sales person was Sage. She was very sweet and very pleasant until we were ready to pay a deposit. Our deposit was close to $1,000 and when we went to pay by debit card and then finance the rest, she insisted that we use cash....wait huh? What does it matter? We didnt have that amount of cash on us and Sage suggested we go the ATM or our bank and then come back. Now, when my husband asked why he couldn't use the card, she became clearly agitated and again, insisted on cash. But even then gave no explanation as to why. That's when my husband tapped me on the leg and said LET'S GO! Pretty big red flag and we felt she was being shifty. If the employees are pocketing cash deposits then MAYBE that's why all the deliveries are delayed or non-existent and why their furniture arrives broken half the time. However, the woman at their offices was super nice and we are talking about trying a different location. Good luck everyone! If you do visit the store in Fairlawn, ask for somebody else.
My husband and I purchased living room furniture back in October of 2020 as a gift for my parents. The buying experience was good and the gentlemen that helped us was great. Fast forward to today, the furniture still hasn’t been delivered. We were told February and then middle of March, and now they said they don’t even have a date. Even asked if we still wanted it after its been 100% paid for. I get everything has been delayed because of the pandemic, but this is getting ridiculous. We have even ordered a bed after the couch and are still waiting on it as well.
Spent $4000 buying a section couch, dining room table set and tv stand with a warranty. We were told that if they couldn't fix the item they would do one product replacement or give credit towards something new. About a year later I called to file a claim for damage done to our table top and was told that the claim was denied. Couldn't fix the damage, wouldn't replace it or give coverage, or refund the warranty cost. Called the store to see if they could assist and never received any follow up. Very disappointed in the customer service all around.
Got a new dining room table and it's outstanding. Good selection of furniture and the sales people are super friendly and don't pressure you to buy anything. If you go and spend enough money you might get an extra bonus discount...might. Me and my wife did.

WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Delivered to wrong address twice even after confirming change of address. Furniture is delivered pieces at a time with over 6 months of waiting. I honestly don't know how this place can be considered a respectable business. Would never buy anything again. Good quality furniture. Just have to wait 6 months to get it. Not worth it.

After 3 years of owning our sectional that we purchased from Ashley Furniture, it is falling apart!!!!!! The saleswoman, Toby, from the Fairlawn location told us that the faux leather on the sectional would hold up exceptionally well with our dog. Well she was WRONG! Our dog is 20lbs and we don’t have any children and the faux leather is worn and peeling in more than 5 different areas. We will NEVER be buying from Ashley furniture again. Terrible quality for the price you pay.

We came here to start looking at new mattresses. We weren’t even planning on purchasing one that day until we met Tiera who went above and beyond to help us find the perfect mattress. She was GREAT. We will be looking for her every time we come to buy new furniture at Ashley from now on! Thank you Tiera!!!
Great service, very helpful. I haven't decided if I will buy my furniture there, but my experience was positive so it is possible, still looking around for the best deals. Overall quality of furniture is fair, but what you expect for lower prices.

My husband and I walked in to look around and met Sage at the door. We bonded over our love of leopard prints! She is so nice and let us look around without being over our shoulder. My husband and I ended up purchasing an amazing couch/chaise and we both agreed walking out that it was by far the easiest and friendliest experience we have ever had furniture shopping. Went into Ashley to just look around because we are beginning to refinish our basement. We met Sage and she was such a pleasure to talk to that we purchased a new couch. The price was great and we are looking forward to delivery. I highly recommend Sage! Talking to her felt like taking to an old friend.

We were just at Ashley Homestore looking for a recliner for my mom and we had the great luck of being helped by Sage Recco! She immediately understood what we were looking for and also recommended some options that we hadn’t even considered. Sage is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We bought the recliner and we will definitely be back in the future!
Great staff on board here! Wide selection and they were running quite impressive deals as well! Managed to get 40% off my order. Now just have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it to ship to the store.

Horrible Service. We ordered in July and waited over 7 months for our couch (backordered from COVID), and the day of delivery came and I had to call to get a time estimate and they told me then that it was further backordered at least a month. No call ahead of time to tell me this, or discount off for them dropping the ball. They say they will reach out to you, but they never do. They constantly just transfer you to different departments. I understand things are backordered because of the pandemic but at least call to tell your customers!!
I wouldn't buy a lawn chair from Ashley furniture ever again. I purchased a sofa and love seat and as part of that sale they gave me a $300 gift card to be used towards a future purchase. When I tried to use it they informed me that the gift card can only be used on "regular priced merchandise". Everything on the store is on sale because thier regular priced are obscene. I also purchased their "Platinum Ultra-Premium furniture protection plan" for $300. I just found out the recliner pull handle that came off isn't a covered repair under the "Platinum Ultra-Premium furniture protection plan". At least that's what they told me when I finally got a hold of them. The phone number on this paperwork is disconnected too. This place is as shady as can be. Do not buy anything here for your own protection! Edit: I filed a complaint with the attorney general's office over the gift card and Ashley denied I was their customer and said they could find no record of the transaction.

I highly recommend Ashley furniture and the staff, especially Sage, whose delightful conversation and knowledge of payment plans helped me to successfully furnish my living room and bedroom in a manner I felt comfortable with!
My wife and I went to Ashley's looking for a sectional and found a beautiful piece that we are so excited to have in our home! We were hesitant about the cost since it was a little more than we were looking to spend, but Sage was able to give us a small discount which made it an easy decision. We also bought a mattress and box spring at their location for our guest room since our previous mattress from Ashley's is holding up great and is very comfortable. Our favorite thing about our experience was that we weren't pressured to make any purchases, and Sage acknowledged our concerns without making us feel crazy!
My family and I were looking for bedroom furniture. Ashley in Fairlawn, OHIO was having a sale so we stopped in. Found a great bedroom set and the sales associate, Sage, was great! She gave us great service and was friendly and attentive.
Walked into Ashley Furniture looking for entire new bedroom set along with living room set. Sage greeted us at the door and took it from there. I had done some browsing on the internet before and she really helped me choose between some ones I had narrowed down. I was unsure for the master bedroom but I believe she found me a homerun combo between the bed and bedroom set she pieced together. She took excellent care of me between the findings and finding the best deal for me! Look for Sage when you get in!
I have ordered something from this store twice and both times was promised a delivery date and then weeks after purchased the delivery was pushed back over a month!!! If you ever want your furniture I would suggest you go somewhere else as they never offer any apology for their error!! Horrible company to order from. Editing...to say you told me to call costumer service...surprise they did nothing...and guess what!! Got an email AGAIN today saying they were canceling our delivery date and maybe in October!!!!! This is a joke of a business...they take your money and give you no product for several months!!!
So the staff and buying experience was great, delivery was not an issue....My wife and I ordered our couch, love seat and bedroom dressers about 4 yrs ago now. Couch and love seat great! Bedroom furniture seemed well built and sturdy, but one of the drawers in my dresser, the guide rail broke off about a year and a half to two years ago now - so about 2 yrs into ownership. After multiple calls to Ashley asking for replacement drawer or parts or something we were directed to a furniture repair company where the guy basically told me how to fix the piece myself because “that’s the way we would do it.” And normally I’m all about that kind of thing but the furniture was expensive and I guess I expected better from Ashley. And now another rail broke off of one of my wife’s dresser drawers. Definitely not calling Ashley to get it fixed, I’ll end up having to do it myself....I figured for the price we paid the customer service would be a little better. Although I guess that’s more a reflection on the company that Ashley outsourced for their furniture repair. I guess I’m just not happy that they contract it out - own your stuff Ashley, fix the issues with your furniture. We re not even done paying on it (5yrs same as cash). Will probably find another place to buy items in the future. Guess my expectations should be lower. Oh well. Cheers
We ordered a 4-Piece Outdoor Seating Set back in May and was told our delivery date would be June 6th. This was ok with us since summer was just starting and we could wait. June 6th came and we never received any calls or emails. After a long chat with customer service we were told the furniture was taking longer due to Covid and we would getting the furniture July 9th. At this point we wanted to cancel the order but we already had two chairs that matched the set. July 9th came and no delivery and after another call we were told August 9th. Now as of today (August 18th) we still do not have any furniture and our new delivery date of August 25th has been pushed back. Ashley Furniture shouldn't sell products they don't actually have.
Ordered a loveseat in May with an estimated pickup date of early July. That day came and I had no contact from a scheduling department or customer service. I called in and found that it was going to be delayed until August. Well, August came and I still heard nothing, called in to request a status and was told it would just be two more days until I could pick up the furniture. Two days pass and I still hear nothing, so I call in again and now it's delayed until September. I cancelled my order as it's clear I'm getting the run around here, I would not recommend anybody order from Ashley Furniture anytime soon. Recent events may be causing these delays but not being upfront about it is inexcusable. I'm certain the lack of contact is because they actually know it's not coming in anytime soon and they'd prefer to keep my money as long as possible. Go elsewhere.
We purchased a new living room set and worked with Sage @ the Fairlawn location. She was amazing., so helpful, friendly, worked to get us the best deal. There was a great variety of beautiful furniture. Highly recommend the location and salesperson, Sage.
We ordered a couch w chaise along with a chair and a half with ottoman on 5/24 with a delivery of 7/25. It got pushed out a week then a month then to 8/18 and a week before was now pushed out to mid October. This is five months from our purchase date which is when we paid in full. This is not ok and when I cancelled the full order they provide no compensation either. I’ve heard so many horror stories from others with the same complaint. I cancelled finally because after several push outs I don’t even trust the October date.

The most horrible experience ever with this store. Before I ordered the items, I told the sales person specifically that TIME is of essence and the most important factor why I came here vs other stores. That didn't matter to these people. I was told 1 week delivery which was perfect. Original order was postponed from 6/26 order date to finally 8/13 and I was just informed on the 7/29. The process they choose to postpone the delivery was the most unethical - every week they would call to confirm the delivery on Tuesday and call again on Wednesday to tell me its pushed back another week. They lie to keep you as their customer. If lying is one of your pet peeves don't come here.
Very disappointed in my experience with Ashley HomeStore. Their communication has been horrible...Bought a couch, chair, ottoman and table beginning of May. June 20 delivery had to be re-scheduled due to product being back ordered (which I completely understand). Few weeks ago they called to confirm July 14 delivery. I even got a confirmation phone call 3 days before with a time frame for delivery. We took off work to be home for delivery and nothing showed up. After the delivery time frame had passed, I called customer service and the first agent said "oh it was scheduled but it wasn't communicated with our drivers" and then second customer service agent called back and said none of the products are ready and they are backordered again until end of August. I am having a hard time understanding why they would leave TWO voicemails confirming my delivery two days ago if the product was still backordered? All of this misinformation from the beginning of May has been very misleading and frustrating. Now it will be 3-4 months until the products arrive (if they don't keep delaying it each month like they have done twice now), and I wouldn't have purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture from the store had I known my living room would be sitting empty for this long. I doubt I will ever shop there again.

I was very excited when I originally went to Ashley’s and picked out my furniture. The staff was great and friendly. I am rating Ashley’s a one star because after purchasing furniture form Ashley’s, I would never buy from here again. Understandably, things have slowed down with production of the furniture due to the pandemic. But when you are spending over $2000 on furniture you think that you would get better communication about what is happening. It’s very frustrating to have your furniture being continually delayed to the point where it will be a couple months between the time you purchased the furniture to the time the furniture will hopefully be delivered. As well, the communication is terrible they give you a few days notice when they delay your furniture delivery. You would think that if the production was behind due to the pandemic they would know that your shipment would be delayed with enough time to give your more than 2 or 3 day notice. I have ordered some other furniture from other companies quite a bit after I ordered from here and the furniture from the other companies is arriving almost 3 weeks before my furniture from here. Hopefully all goes well with my next delivery date or else I may just cancel my entire order and go somewhere else.

I want to start off with the staff here is amazing and really helpful. The reason I’m giving them a one star is because I order my furniture and was told that it would take about 4-5 weeks to get my furniture, which was fine with me because I was moving into my new place and it worked out for me. Three days before my furniture was supposed to come they called and said it’ll be another month on top of the 4 weeks I waited for it. So now it’ll be 2 whole months after I bought it. Now it’ll be a whole month and I won’t have furniture in my place because I threw away my other stuff due to the late notice of my furniture being delayed. I was not given a reason why it was delayed just that it’ll be here in another month. I just don’t think it’s fair to me and others having to experience this kind of business.
Bought a section and tables for $3800.00, I made sure I wouldn't wait for two months without having it delivered. Told there is no issues and things will be deliveried on time. 3 days before my delivery date I'm called saying it would be another month. Called two weeks earlier to have it delivered a week early couldnt do but it would be delivered my expected date. Offer me 150 off my order today since it would now be July 15th. I wasnt to happy when I'm forced 65 days from my purchased date. Asked about a refunded, "we will cut you a check and it will take 7 to 14 days". Not a fan wouldnt recommend. Talked to scheduling three times im not sending an email to hear the same thing. Thanks for nothing.
Horrible customer service after your purchase. I spent well over $3000 in side tables and dining room chairs. One table came chipped, one with a bent arm mechanism, one missing a shelf, one chair falling apart. Poorly made 😡. Getting a hold of customer service is a joke. You have to send pictures and then call them back if they approve it you have to have them order the part and when it arrives YOU have to call and set up a service call and wait for them to call you back. In 6 months we have already replaced several things and it took months!!!! I have asked for my money back repeatedly. I have sent photos and then had to call in again to follow up. I have offered to drive the pieces back to the store and get a refund. We did a home remodel and made purchases from Lazy Boy, Value City, Levins, Big Lots and Best Buy and have not had 1 issue with any items purchased. Buyer beware the quality is not good. We are so disappointed and just want our money back.

Really nice store, wide selection, but the price tags are steep! & some items take 4-5 weeks for delivery, which is kind of crazy. You can find more a lot of their items at wayside furniture for half the price. Employees are really nice & helpful though.

I have to honestly retract my “positive” review because I am BEYOND upset and frustrated with Ashley. I ordered My furniture March 1st and of course because of the virus my delivery got extremely delayed. I also spend THOUSANDS. I was told the couch I ordered March 1st wasn’t in stock. And I had To wait until June. Last week I got a partial delivery and was just excited to get my dining room table and and chairs. THEN they brought the wrong chairs and said it was a sales person error. Now I have To wait another MONTH for my couch and my CHAIRS! I get the couch may have been delayed because of the virus. But the chairs had nothing to do with it and they basically told me to deal with it. When it was not my fault. So now I have To go another month with not being able to use my dining room table. My salesperson said I could text her whenever I needed help or questions but instead stopped responding to me! Please don’t waste your time shopping at Ashley’s. The customer service is terrible and won’t help. I was Told I’d get my second shipment June 5th and now it’s moved to June 19th. They will probably just keep pushing it back. You would think because of how long I ordered My furniture I would Be at priority for the couch but no. And mind you they are still advertising this couch as in stock online. I wish I could give zero stars.
Going into this location was good. The salesman found us exactly what we were looking for and even got the price down. I had to wait 2 weeks for delivery (which wasn't bad). The arrival date was March 5th. Everything came except the most expensive one which was my couch. I asked the delivery guys where it was and they said I had to call because it wasn't on the order. It took 2 days to talk to someone and they apologized and said it couldn't fit on the truck. I was very upset that they couldn't just call me and tell me this. After figuring this all out I was told it would be here April 1st.. another month. The epidemic happened and I get it, but I did not know that they had stopped delivery. It would have been nice to have a customer service call to let me know that my order was going to be delayed. Now that they are back open my husband calls today and all they were willing to do was give us a $75 refund and then tell us we still wont get it until June 13Th!! I never knew it was going to be such a headache buying furniture! I will be doing my furniture shopping somehwere else for now on. I spent $950 on a furniture set. I have owned my couch for 3 months and haven't even sat in it!!
Thanks to Emily Shetler we have finally ordered our bedroom set. It was not easy as we live an hour away and the location near me was terrible, but thanks to her we are getting our first set and then when we can afford to refurnish another room we will drive out the hour away to see Emily and find our perfect fit for that room. She just got a repeat customer from her amazing service today.
50 days goes by and I still haven’t received my furniture I can’t get in contact with the store or the email. Then on top of that they call me the week before this month telling me I’ll receive my furniture on this day the 9th @ 8:30-11:30 then they text me they’ll be here in 20 mins just to call and say they don’t have my couch that I already paid for. Playing to many games why would you tell me something when you don’t have my stuff I want a refund cause the information was incorrect.
I would like to know where I can pick up my island that I purchased.store closed and I was not notified
Love getting my furniture from here. Got couch, side tables and kitchen table there couple years ago and recently just purchased a mattress and the porter sleigh. I am super excited for it to be delivered on 2 week!! Cant wait
Sales team was fantastic, helpful and not pushy. Delivery service was great. No fault to them but, a drawer on a dresser is broken. Still waiting on parts. Bed frame was missing hardware and we are still waiting on parts. No tracking number can be provided so who knows how long we will have to continue to trip over a bed frame in our bedroom for. Not much help from costumer service. For the amount of money we paid we expect quality furniture and not missing/broken pieces.

We are building a new house and are getting all new furniture so we came to check out their inventory. We worked with Sage and she was absolutely wonderful. She helped up rearrange stuff they had on the floor so we could make the best decision possibly for our purchases. She was patient and accommodating for all our ridiculousness. A couple weeks after our initial purchase we decided to change a couple of pieces before delivery and she was helpful in getting the items swapped out. Could not recommend them (and specifically Sage) enough. Incredible buying experience!

Purchased a sofa and love seat the other day. Paid $200 to have furniture delivered and set up. Delivery company didn’t completely test controls on the love seat and there is an issue. Their independent service company finally called me 3 days later to schedule a service call. Service isn’t scheduled for 2 weeks and when I asked what time a technician will be at my home, the customer service rep. told me that they will call 1-2 days ahead with a window of time. I find this level of service to be pathetic and I’m done purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture.
The salesgirl was excellent and the price was fair. Those are the only two positive things I have to say about Ashley furniture. The most important should be the furniture itself, but sadly it is far from true! The furniture is garbage! And thus far the customer service is no better. You wait on hold for 20+ minutes every time you call. The delivery was 40 minutes late past the end of the 3 hour window you’ve already waited. Then the furniture itself... I ordered a dining room set. 8 chairs, 3 damaged, 2 soiled, that left 3 good ones?! Buffet has broken knob. Now I’m at the mercy of their “repair “ man to try and sort all of this out as they do not allow returns... even Value City Furniture has a 7 day return policy. We’ll see what happens, but if you can spend a few bucks more, I’d steer clear of Ashley. And since I’m already ranting... ask if the furniture is even in stock? You buy something then have to call a separate number only to find out the set is back ordered for literally weeks and weeks! Ordered our set first week of December, arrived January 31. 7 weeks... if you can’t supply it, don’t sell it OR at least make the buyer aware that they’re not getting it anytime soon?

Nice selection of furniture and styles, with a range of quality and price points. They have furniture from very high quality, top of the line pieces to things slightly better than what you might get at Wal-Mart. Staff is always friendly and eager to help, as most commissioned sales people are. I would have given four stars, but their delivery service is poor. Delivery charges are very high. Although your sales person might wave a portion of that cost if he/she thinks they might lose the sale. You cannot schedule a delivery with your sales person. You must wait 24 hours and call an 800 number to schedule your delivery. That is an irritating inconvenience, if that were the end of it. But you can't get through to schedule your delivery. I tried repeatedly for two days and finally called the store. Now, they can schedule my delivery in store! This happened with the last two of three orders I placed. All three orders, they called the day before anticipated delivery and rescheduled 2-5 weeks later. Still waiting on the final delivery!
Great furniture but it takes forever to get it delivered. They need to work on that a bit.. Over 5 months it took on my last order amd im still waiting..
What an amazing experience! I was at two other furniture locations until I went to Ashley. I met with their associate, Jon. What a Different experience completely... I was not smothered. Jon was attentive and truly he wanted wanted me to leave happy.
I used to get pressure headaches but now that I'm able to adjust my head sleeping position with my adjustable base the headaches are gone Thanks Mark for improving my sleep and overall quality of life

The staff at the Ashley HomeStore in Fairlawn are incredible. The customer experience they provided was excellent. Sales people were present on the floor for any assistance that I needed, without being overbearing or pushing sales. My in store experience was great, which is why I am leaving 5 stars. That being said, once you pay for your furniture and leave, you are at the mercy of the company. They are not as caring or considerate as the staffing in the store. They will provide you with inaccurate delivery information, and then screw you without a second thought. I purchased my furniture at the end of November, and when I called to schedule a delivery they told me Christmas Eve was my delivery date. I was not thrilled about the date, but decided it would be nice to have new furniture for the holidays. I work in retail, which makes it difficult to get Christmas Eve off, but I was able to do so in order to be present for the delivery window provided to me. I received 3 different calls confirming my delivery over the course of 3 1/2 weeks, the most recent was 3 days before the alleged delivery date. I got rid of my old furniture in lieu of new furniture, only to receive a call the day before delivery was supposed to take place, informing me that my furniture was still being manufactured. This company needs to be more cautious of the effects of their inaccurate delivery estimates. I would have had no problem keeping my old couches an extra week, but instead had an empty living room and plans for friends and family to come over for the holidays. I asked for and was offered no compensation, only insincere apologies. I reached out to the company over social media and received no reply. Unfortunately, this company has no problem making their hardworking and dedicated team members in the stores look bad when they fail to deliver on their false promises. Thank you to the Fairlawn staff for providing a good experience, even if the company you work for does not strive for the same level of customer satisfaction as you do.
0 stars to Ashley Furniture. 11/13 - In store purchase of a dresser, chest, two side tables, mattress, mattress protector, bed with head and foot boards. Told in store by manager it'll be a delivery time frame of 14 days and to call the next day to set up delivery. 11/14 - I call to set up delivery. Delivery date #1 is scheduled for 11/30. They say that delivery time frame is not 14 days, but 28. 11/26 - Four days before delivery date #1 I receive call from Ashley Furniture saying they cannot delivery on 11/30 and we have to reschedule. I have to wait hours for scheduling to call me.The earliest date we can push it back to is delivery date #2 12/12. Outside of the 14 and 28 days we were told. I ask for money taken off. The worker tells me they will write report for manager review and call back. Never received a call back. 12/6 6 days before delivery date #2 I receive call saying they cannot delivery on 12/12. I ask for shipping fee waived for this insane amount of delays I have to deal with. The first person I speak to says that cannot happen, because that is how drivers are paid. I have to wait hours for scheduling to call me. We set up date #3 which is 1/3. I ask for delivery fee waived, they allow that to happen. 12/30 4 days before delivery date #3 I receive call saying they cannot deliver all furniture on 1/3. Only the chest, mattress, and mattress protector can be delivered. Also- they cannot hold 2 delivery dates so I have to make sure on 1/4 someone from this wonderful company calls me to set up another delivery date for the rest of my furniture that was suppose to be in my new home 11/30. They told me the earliest date I could receive the rest of the furniture is 1/29. Asked for more money taken off. Worker said they will put in for a manager review and call back. Currently waiting for the call back and just hoping to get furniture at all. Through this whole process, none of the workers actually seemed sorry or apologetic that I have been sleeping on the floor since 11/10 while waiting for my furniture that was suppose to be relived 11/30. This whole process is going to end up going on 2 months. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. I will never let my family shop at Ashley Furniture in the future. I will take my business to a company that can actually help their customers and follow through.

Overpriced
Though they have nice furniture, despite spending several thousand dollars who knows when you'll actually get your furniture, completely, or how many days you'll need off work waiting on them to show up with the wrong screws 5x times. When you complain they act like the fact they'll 'try again' to properly assemble your furniture is something you should be grateful for. When you get fed up of half assembled unsafe furniture and you tell them to just return it, they harass you saying you can't return it. 3 different assembly crews have told me this is normal. Maybe after 5 months my furniture will be assembled, but I'm still waiting. Go to Levins!

I called to make a purchase over the phone because I was having a difficult time online and Tiera went above and beyond to help me! It ended up taking many back and forth phone calls and over 30 minutes dealing with Synchrony, but she remained super friendly and helpful and determined to make it work. And it did! She was wonderful and I highly recommend working with her again!
My husband and I bought a couch and loveseat on 10/6/19, to be delivered 11/4. The day before delivery we received a call to let us know the loveseat would be delayed a week or two, and that someone would be in touch within a few days to set up delivery for it. A week went by with no communication from them, so I called the customer service line and waited on hold for 41 minutes, to have the associate tell me it would be delivered 11/25. Silly me didn't realize until the morning of the 25th that I'd never received a call with a confirmation of a delivery window, so I asked my husband to call and talk to customer service. 30 minutes later, they informed him they have a work order open for January but can expedite from the manufacturer and have it 12/20, and offered him $100 off. I can't believe we were never contacted by the company themselves to let us know about these issues, that WE had to call THEM to ask where our furniture is, and I don't have 45 minutes to wait on hold with customer service until a couple days from now. Unacceptable.

After reading reviews of others horrible delivery experience I thought I should add my own as clearly this is a MAJOR problem. My fiance and I had our mattresses delivered today. In store we were told that our old mattress and box springs were going to be taken without a charge. This is not happening since it was not on the invoice, so not only are we going to have to get rid of them ourselves, we will have to pay for it. Also, the base for our bed is broken and a technician is supposedly going to come out and fix it. My fiance called the store and was told that this is something they do not handle because it was made else where and she was going to speak with a manager regarding the matter (we are supposed to receive a call back regarding this). Also the scheduled delivery time is a joke. We requested and evening. They scheduled us for 11:30 am, and called this morning and told us they would be there at 9:30 am. Pretty sure neither of those times are even close to evening hours. Will consider updating my review once the above issues are handled, but it appears that the customer service on the delivery side is seriously lacking.
Brandon K was amazing! This gentlemen stuck with me even after I was upfront letting him know I would be relocating out of state and could not order there. How many sales people do you know would do that? He even went to the extent of writing down discounted prices for me so I could take to another Ashley furniture store in the south. Again I ask, what sales person do you know would do that? I was blown away. Do yourself a favor and ask for this guy next time you’re in!
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We just bought our first house and went to Ashley for our furniture. We purchased a sectional and a table set. We spent $4,000.00 on September 28th and set up a delivery date of October 22nd. On the 21st of October I receive a call that our furniture can't be delivered until the 31st. Super frustrating because we've been sitting on the floor. But whatever, it is what it is. Then, on the 30th, I call to schedule delivery, and it is moved back to November 4th. There goes our Halloween Housewarming party. Fine. Most recently, our delivery date has been pushed back to November 19th, but I'm sure it will be delayed again. So much for hosting our first Thanksgiving in our first house. If you need to talk to customer service, expect to wait on hold for at least an hour only to talk to someone who will need to call you back. If they tell you that call back will happen by the end of the day, expect it sometime next week. The best part? If we cancel this order, we will be charged a 12% freight fee. Go literally anywhere else. If you don't believe me, look at all of the recent reviews on consumer reports. This isn't just happening to me.

Sales experience was okay, but the expensive sectional we purchased less than 6 months ago is a huge disappointment. The cushions slide every time anyone sits on them, the cushion at the corner doesn’t line up with the cushions on either side, and the most annoying part is that the fabric “pills” like a cheap sweater. We did a lot of looking around before we purchased our sectional and would NOT do the same thing again. Shame on me I guess....

I went to Ashley furniture with my two year old toddler and my best friend in search of a new couch/sectional. Upon arriving my son got all excited and wanted to look at everything, right off the bat Kait made me feel very comfortable about my son wanting to see everything and even got him things to play with and even color while I was there. She truly took a huge stress off of shopping with a toddler. Whenever it comes to the couch part I started off looking at sectionals and fell in love, I checked them all out and found one I loved! Kait even got to show me different ways I could build it and even showed me how durable it is even with a toddler wanting to climb all over it! She helped me figure out which I wanted and we went through with the purchase! I applied for store credit which I got and she really helped me understand all of that! The whole process was very easy and went way better than I ever imagined! Kait did a great job helping us yesterday! Highly recommend seeing her if going to purchase furniture!!

My husband and I were out a few weeks ago shopping for granite tops. We decided on a whim to stop at ashley homestore to look at a couch for our new home renovation. We walked in to a VIP sale and was greeted by Sage. She took great care of us. She listened to what we wanted and didn't try to steer us in a different direction. My husband and I just bought a recliner from Ashley Furniture. We had been to several stores and the experience was getting to be exhausting... and then we walked into Ashley furniture and meet Sage. She made the experience so easy and pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and we were able to get exactly what we wanted for a great price and good quality. All I can say is I need living room furniture and I will be going straight to see Sage first!
We bought an electric reclining couch here and the price and quality can't be beat!!! And our sales lady sage was very patient and helpful in finding what we wanted in our price range. We will definitely be coming back when we're looking for one for the basement when it's finished!!
Only have a 1 star cause I had too. Ordered furniture on July 26 2019 from Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn Ohio. Still haven’t got the order and it’s 9/23/19. Partial orders and damaged items have plagued this order. Spent thousands of dollars and now get the shaft. Promised delivery on days with none arriving. Days wasted and missed work. What a JOKE. WORST COMPANY I have felt with and now I’m stuck cause I paid cash. Ashley got their money but I don’t have my furniture months later. Talked to store manager who says he can’t help me. Not his problem. I’ve lost time and money by taking days off from work only to have incomplete deliveries. Don’t buy unless you have months to wait to get your order in. On the plus side a got $100 in store credit, like I’m gonna buy something from this place again? NO.
The individual we worked with at the store was very helpful and we appreciated her help. The one star is for the delivery and centralized scheduling service. They have horrible delivery service and horrible central scheduling services. I have wasted so much time this week trying to get our furniture after I was essentially lied to by the delivery person. I rushed out of work based on what I was promised only to be told that he had to leave blatantly contradicting what he told me previously. The last person I spoke to in scheduling spoke over me almost the entire time without being willing to consider what I was saying. I had to essentially tell her that she needed to stop talking over me. Now I need to go pick up the furniture, having still paid for delivery and them refusing to refund the delivery fee. There is no consideration for the fact that people work or flexibility for delivery for people’s jobs or inability to pick up heavy furniture. Such a frustrating experience and a waste of time. I hope to never do business with Ashley furniture again! Our interactions with local businesses have been so much better!!

If Tiera Wade was not as nice as she was to my wife and I while we were shopping, this review would absolutely have only one star associated with it. We ventured into the store on a random Sunday to get some ideas and try to figure out the desired look for our first home; two hours later, we had a delivery date for multiple pieces of furniture to complete our home. Tiera Wade was an absolutely fantastic salesperson who I would have no hesitation working with again. The purchasing process was as easy as could be and was not tedious in the least. Fast forward three weeks, we are very excited for the arrival of our new furniture only to find out that several pieces (end-piece loveseat for the sectional and basement coffee table) were found to be damaged upon inspection; we were given no notice of this meaning had no idea that there would now be a delay for new pieces to be made while we sit on half of a couch at home. The next day, the call arrives from someone at Ashley to schedule the delivery date for our damaged items. First, we will be waiting ANOTHER THREE WEEKS for the items to be manufactured. Second, the coffee table was marked as delivered so had I not asked about it, the item would not have arrived much to our surprise in three weeks. Now for the rating - as I said, the only thing saving a one-star review was Tiera's friendliness while at the store. The delivery people were also very nice and easy to work with (as well as being as surprised as we were that there was no heads-up call). There was absolutely no urgency with getting our replacement items to us hence the second three-week wait. The representatives that called had a very 'welp, good luck not our problem' demeanor. Why were replacement items not already in the manufacturing queue to save the sale and potential future business? As nice as Tiera was, we will probably not be back to Ashley HomeStore as a whole; this mess of a delivery process has cured us of working with Ashley in the future. Unfortunate - the selection was great for what we were looking for and I saw things that would look great in our house when shopping in the future...

We ordered furniture to furnish our entire apartment at the beginning of June to come on July 31st. After more than half of our furniture never came with no warning, they told us the rest would come on August 14th. Which was frustrating because we were then missing most of our things. Well today is now August 14th and after no phone call confirming our delivery, we called them to find out that our things are not coming until August 21st now. With no warning. Oh, and half of our bedroom package was never even ordered. And then they called 10 minutes later to tell us it was delayed until August 28th!!!! Every person we call has no answers and will "call us back" and never do. We have no idea what is happening and when we will get our things and no one from this company can help. We will never shop here again.
Very poor customer service. Had 2 family members different states had horrible service. One of them has been waiting 5 weeks for delivery,when asked for a refund,they were told there would be a 10% fee.They were given a 2-4 week window,they are now at week 5. I can understand if things happen,but when a company will do nothing to compensate,and won't communicate with the customer,there is a problem. What a terrible company. High prices and lousy service is what you get from them
I had an extremely difficult time canceling an in-store purchase. After three weeks and five or six calls to the store, I STILL haven't received a credit for the purchase. Their online customer service is even worse though. I made an online purchase and three different customer service representatives told me three different delivery dates. I couldn't get a consistent answer out of anyone. They ended up scheduling the delivery on the wrong date and the only date that I was available was full too. I'm never one to write negative reviews, but I'm just so extremely upset with Ashley Furniture (both the Fairlawn store and the online support) and I would never recommend them for absolutely anything.
DONT buy from this company. What a nightmare, they lie about delivery dates and times. They will drag you through the mix trying to save a sale. The customer service is worst I have experienced, I asked for the supervisor and the young lady refused to get them nor would she cancel my order. Waste of time and energy. Sick of companies treating their customers like garbage, I will be looking for a better solution and I will be telling everyone I know about my horrible experience!!
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for my friend who ultimately purchased more items this way. No pressure sales and a great attitude sales person really made it a nice experience. I will be going back when I'm in the market for furniture.

Hi all. So I recently moved out of my home and had to furnish an entire apartment! Sucks ikr? So I went out and bought a tv, air bed and computer desk and chair to get me through the week and I went to Ashley. Figured it was best since my credit is good but not great . I chose what I needed and had a Wonderful sales associate sign me up for a couple credit accounts. So far so good . Delivery was scheduled for two weeks later which was disappointing but Hey! I've been a college student. Two weeks with a TV and an air bed? No problem. On day 12 they call me and say there will be a delay on delivery. I wasn't able to get back to them that day. Day 13 I try calling and get "Sign up for us to call you back" I did, they didn't. So scheduled delivery day. Well it seems they tried to deliver at 9 am (I get up at six) and couldn't. I notice a call from 10 am at around 11 and call. New delivery schedule in 2 weeks. Ok that time they came through. With 1 of the items I ordered. Long story short it's been 2 months and I just wanted 2 hrs a day for 2 days canceling the rest of the order. Oh and by the way. I get maybe an hour a day couch time on work days and 4 he's on my one day off a week and the cushions on the couch, even though I've been rotating them, are shot. Going to need to replace them. Here is my recommendation. DONT EVER GO TO ASHLEY.

Edited on 4/4/19 Purchased a couch on 3/13/19. It was supposed to arrive on the 29th between 5pm-8pm. A little late, but thats fine. We got our confirmation call the day before the delivery. Then the couch never arrived, and we never we recieved a phone call explaining that it would arrive late. Now we are told to wait another full week to HOPEFULLY get the new coach, after already having the old couch removed. Customer service had absolutely no idea where the new couch was and just repeated the same rehearsed lines. After over an hour, there was no resolution to the problem. Absolutely terrible experience. Will not be returning. The terrible experience continues... Once again our order was a no show and again we received no notification that the order was being pushed back a second time. Corporate asked that I contact them via email, I did and recieved no response. I then proceeded to contact customer service for a 3rd time, and once again they had absolutely no idea where our couch was, told us that the delivery would be delayed yet another week, and that they could do nothing to fix the problem. This has been the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. I will never be returning, and will be sure to recommend one of the many other furniture stores in the area to all friends and family. Complete joke of a company. I wish 0 stars was an option.
Tiera was absolutely AMAZING. She greeted me at the door and got right to business. She asked all the right questions so that we could find the perfect new couch. I have a cat with claws who used my previous couch as a scratch pad. When I told her this, she made sure to stay away from fabric that could be destroyed. She made this process extremely pleasant. Her co-workers were great too! I felt very at home and no one pushed me into buying anything. She talked to me like I was her friend and had my best interest at heart. I highly recommend seeing her. Her personality lights up a room. You will not be disappointed! I will be purchasing more from Tiera!

I am moving to a new apartment and I decided it was time to buy a nice new couch for my living room. I had the pleasure to work with Toby. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. She really listened to my wants and needs and understood my style and what I was looking for. She was also extremely helpful when it came to figuring out what would fit well and provided me with plenty of options and her true opinion on pieces that I was looking at. Not only all that, but she did her best to get me the best deal she could. I am so thankful to have worked with her and she made the process a little easier. Furniture is a big purchase and it is definitely going to be worth it! Thank you so much Toby! I can't wait to get my new couch!

I am a bit disappointed,everything was 5 star until 5 minutes ago. I purchased a sectional and went back to the store to use my gift card to purchase pillows. I was misled by the sales team that I’d be able to use my $100 gift card to purchase three $29.99 clearance pillows. I went into the store today and was told by my sales person that I’d have to pay $70 on top of the gift card to purchase the pillows. How could this be? I was informed that I’d have to pay full price to use the gift card, because it isn’t good on clearance items. I feel that I was given the wrong information and this store will not stand behind what they say during the “sale”. I did find other furniture to purchase, but will be taking my business elsewhere now...thank you for being customer friendly and standing behind your promise.

On November 5th 2017, my husband and I went to Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn Ohio to purchase a sectional. We found one we loved, and we're assured it'd be delivered within 3-4 weeks. That time came and went, and we were called early December and told it was on an extended delay, and wouldn't be delivered until December 22nd. We were frustrated, but they told us it would be there in time for our family Christmas celebration, and offered $75 off our bill or a $150 gift card. We did not yet decide which to choose. We called to confirm delivery a few days before the 22nd, and we were told it was on another delay, and wouldn't be scheduled until mid January. It completely ruined our Christmas, and my family had no where to sit. Our next delivery was scheduled for January 14th, and I thought that would be it. On January 8th, I was called and informed it is being delayed yet again. This is the fourth time they've told us it would be delivered, and the third delivery date they've given us. It's months later, and we still have no couch! All we've been offered is a $75 gift card??? We are at a point where we are ready to cancel our order and take our business to Levin.
From start to finish Ashley furniture was the best experience. Zac & Ashley were very helpful and efficient. The delivery team exceeded our expectations. We will definitely shop here again for all of our furniture needs.

She was able to answer all of my questions, and even was able to work things around to save me money on my furniture purchase. I recently relocated to the area and was in need of living room and guest room furniture. I was greeted by Kait, who is outstanding. She made it her mission to get me what I wanted and also stayed within the budget that was comfortable for me. I changed my mind at least 4 or 5 times and each time I came into the store Kait has been accommodating. I also have to recognize Laura. She worked with Kait in order to make sure I was happy and received the best deal possible. I will be returning to get a dining room set soon. I can be pretty indecisive.. walking into a showroom can be an overwhelming experience.. all I needed was matching end-tables and even had a picture of what I was hoping to find. Fortunately for me Day walked up and offered help with the location and decision making. I had a great experience.
Had a great purchasing experience in store with Mike. I use a wheelchair but left it in the car and used a cane instead since I knew I would have to try out furniture. Once the selection process ended I was given the store’s wheelchair to help me get around to complete the purchase. It was easy and painless. The exceptional part comes in with my experience with Laura- the second piece to my sectional didn’t come with my delivery, and I hadn’t been notified ahead of time. That department was closed when this happened (after 5pm) so I called the Fairlawn store. I spoke to Laura who was and ANGEL on the phone. She was so sweet & professional and empathetic to my situation despite it not being her error. She made sure to get my info and have someone from corporate contact me the next morning. After a frustrating experience speaking with two “corporate managers” - I received a follow up call from Laura, who wanted to make sure I was taken care of (which was above and beyond). As I explained my dissatisfaction with the way I was handled by the other office, she apologized and asked my permission to escalate it to her regional manager. She called back within the hour and had taken care of my issue, something the corporate office was unwilling to do, and soley because of her and the staff in the Fairlawn store, will I continue to be a customer. I’ve worked in every customer service and corporate setting you can imagine, and by far Laura was the kindest & most sincere person I’ve ever dealt with over the phone. I mean we even shed a tear speaking about kindness and humanity. This woman is a gem, and I will be going back specifically to make my purchases when I know she is in the store. It’s people like her that should be higher up managers, as opposed to the others I dealt with. She alone created a loyal client, where I could have been a dissatisfied former customer, who returned my living room set and sought to purchase elsewhere. So grateful for her spirit.

So, let me tell you how dope our furniture buying experience was. My husband and I strolled into Ashley's furniture a little bit before black Friday. We were greeted and asked to play a game for Black Friday. We just had to delect a ball from a can. We picked a ball to receive 25% off our order. However, we informed our sales associate, Maryonna, that we were only looking because we were closing on a house and couldn't buy at the time. After walking around for some time, we found our desired bedroom set and our sons. Maryonnna, checked in on us from time to time to give us insight and answer questions. Once we were finished, we told her we would return after our home purchase. She volunteered to write up our totals and send it to us via text, which she did as well as all questions here and there. Fast forward to yesterday. We closed!!! So, as promised, we returned to the store and found Maryonna. They have a Keurig so my husband and I both got coffee...because we thought we were in for a long, hard process. However, Maryonna let us walk around a bit to look at the showroom. She was available to answer all questions that we had. Once we settled on the pieces, she worked with Laura at ther front desk to get our numbers and paper work together. Laura was super awesome too. I had to bug her for a stirrer for my coffee and she found me a new straw from her drawer. The both of them worked together to get our order processed. We later wanted to pay for our sons bed seperate and they were both patient with changing the paperwork. We were in there for a few hours and even a little after close and they were very nice, didn't rush us and helped us thru the whole process. We actually got a few wall decorations and a lamp that we took home and Maryonna wrapped them up really good. The experience was so great that we ended up getting more pieces than planned. In total, we furnished our bedroom, our sons bed room and the dining room. Overall, great experience!! Maryonna was fabulous and knowledgeable. She took care of us, as promised, and Laura was wonderful working with too, processing all the paperwork, payments and giving us breakdown explanations. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to them. My mom is building a house and will be going to them!!!

The Mrs. and I went to Ashley HomeStore the other day looking for some accent tables to spruce up our remodeled living room. We were so pleased with the selection, but what we really loved was our salesperson, Day! She made us feel like old friends from the moment we walked in, was able to answer all of our questions, and even made some great suggestions. We told her she really "made our Day!" The store was clean, well-organized, and had a great array of styles. We've been recommending them to everyone we know in the area (Go Jets!!!!).

Wonderful experience, Tiera was super friendly and knowledgeable; she even found us the lowest cost. We purchased a new bedroom set for our growing son and will most likely return again to purchase a new bedroom set for ourselves! Update -11/17/18 - did not send the correct stuff; ordered a Full memory foam mattress - they gave us a twin regular mattress. Also the sales person didn't add all the items we needed for the assembly of the bed - thus my son coming home from school on Tuesday this week will not have anywhere to sleep - ridiculous. We won't be coming back if this is not fixed immediately. Update - 11/20/18 - Problem fixed and Courtney Smith helped us to resolve issue. I know problems happen, but during the holiday it can be really stressful. Needless to say I am pleased with how quick they were to fix everything so that my son who is coming home today will have somewhere to sleep and we got an even better mattress! I will definitely come back and give this store another try!

This was by far the best furniture buying experience I’ve ever had! Our salesperson was Kait Darby and she was friendly, informative, and not pushy whatsoever. She was also excited to see us find what we wanted for our home...in a very genuine way! Days after our purchase I even noticed that their website had our sectional at a slightly lower price than what we got in store. She matched it instantly, no muss or fuss. Overpriced, cheaply made furniture. On top of that their delivery people tore my couch walking threw the door its taken 2 months of no shows and no call backs and they still havent fixed it. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
This was my first time in an Ashley Furniture store, my boyfriend and I were greeted by Kait the moment we walked in. I was very pleased with the excellent service from that point on. She went above and beyond with helping us. So much so my boyfriend and I returned the next day to purchase a furniture set from her and she educated us on all mattresses they had that fit our needs, we ended up with a new affordable mattress as well. The sales staff here are great. The customer service is horrendous. You file a complaint about your furniture or mattress and they just bypass any and everything they can, so they don't have to take care of your problem. What are you losing if you replace your product to make your customer happy? Nothing! If you make your customer happy, you will have a forever returning customer. Not this one.. Too bad they already got my money. I will never shop at Ashley's again.
Went in today just to look around as we are searching for some new living room furniture. We saw Kait and she was very friendly and helpful we ended up purchasing a new living room set and could not be happier with the expierience. After visiting several other furniture stores in the local area & out towards the beechwood area as well, I stopped into Ashley for the first time ever. I was helped out by a very knowledgeable young lady by the name of Kait D.... Whst a pleasant young lady to work with & Very Knowledgeable about all the products in the store. I could not exactly fine the couch set up that I wanted, but with her experience and her knowledge, she figured out what I was looking for and took me over to the computer and showed me online what would be the best fit for me. They did not have my piece at their store but it was up at the Cleveland store. She arranged for me to go up that weekend and I went and looked at it and was sold. I did my financing through Ashley furniture which was done on spot and it was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had dealing with an in-store furniture or in-store major purchase. We had a great experience with Kait as our sales person in the Fairlawn, OH location. I came in looking for a specific height chair in a specific color that I was having trouble finding at other stores. They did have one great option and it was also on sale. They do make everything to order, so we knew the delivery time could be 2-6 weeks for the 6 chairs. You will call two days after your order to schedule your delivery date. Originally our delivery date was only about 1 week (great news!) but we called Kait to add on a Chaise sofa we were admiring in the store. She was able to quickly include that in our delivery order for the chairs with only a small additional fee. It did push back our delivery date two weeks because the sofa wouldn't be in until then. We are excited for our new furniture, but are fine with the wait since we were told the time frame ahead of time. I hope to review once our furniture arrives in two weeks.

It’s been about a month since I ordered my bedroom set, that was paid for in full. I keep getting the run around on times and date for the delivery. The estimated delivery was for last month! I’m 38 weeks pregnant hoping my bedroom set will get here before baby. A totally unnecessary stress. None of the staff have been willing to solve the problem, just a “so sorry you’re unhappy.” Not the best way to keep a customer. Will never purchase from them again and I definitely do not recommend.

My name is Vincent. Let me be totally honest with you regarding this company and buyer be where. I'm only writing this because I was extremely dissatisfied and feel others should know. When you purchase furniture at any Ashley Location they will not tell you if what you purchase is on a back order delay. They have you call in a few days to set up for delivery and I had found out that my bedroom furniture had a 2 month manufacture delay. I wanted my money back or a sooner delivery. The manufacturer was notified and I was given an earlier one, but still a long 1 month delay, so I took it because my family liked the set. 5 days before the delivery date they called me to tell me that I have to wait the original wait time. I have to continue to put all my family's clothes on the ground while waiting for bedroom furniture for 2 MONTHS!! I was lied to and the company was deceitful. I would highly recommend other companies such as Wayside Furniture or Value city. I have never had to wait longer than a week for anything with those companies in Akron Ohio. The company model of Ashley furniture is poor, they lie and deceit. I might just be one piss on buyer to them and they threw me to the side like I was nothing, but word will get around. If they treat me like this I'm sure they will treat others the same way. They do anything they can not to lose your business even if that means lying. All they would say is I'm sorry. I even asked the manager how would you feel waiting 2 months having to put your clothes on the ground. I could have easily cancelled the order one month ago and gone somewhere else but they told me I would have my furniture in 2 days and now I have to wait another month. This is no way to treat a customer. Feel free to buy where you want, but I'm warning any customer who walks into any of the Ashley locations. Thank you, if anyone from managment wants to call me to discuss how waiting 2 months or more is appropriate for furniture, I'd love to hear it!

Went to the store to purchase living room furniture and made the mistake of trusting the salesperson to give us the accurate prices, went online to find every single item was on sale and it was $800 less in total than what we paid. When we called the store to fix it, they actually made us drive to the store to sign paper work to get the new prices instead of just fixing it. Also, we ordered this furniture at the end of April, it is now nearing the end of June and it still wasn't delivered...just called to cancel it. Huge waste of time. UPDATE: Emailed the owner as instructed below on July 4th, they have not had the courtesy to even respond. I will never recommend this awful store to anyone.
Finally purchased our living room furniture here! After looking for several months, we were able to see many options at this location... I believe it was under new management... and that was the key factor in funally purchasing! We met with her and she was able to help us make a decision based on what we wanted and stayed within our budget. Couch + chair and ottoman. Nice sale. 👍

I can't speak to the quality of the furniture here, as I didn't get anything. The sales people felt a little too pushy and rushed me to sign up for store credit, and then lost my ID for 5-10 minutes. Ended up getting a nice mattress from the nearby Mattress Firm instead, which was a better experience and I wasn't pushed to get anything else.
Nice showroom, but delivery process is abysmal. Order was rescheduled twice with little notice. Recommend looking elsewhere for furniture.

I made a purchase from Ashley Furniture on Feb 11th and the employees were very kind and helpful. It was after my purchase where I had issues. I purchased a bed set, mattress, sofa, and love seat. I was told to call a number on my receipt to set up a delivery time and it would be between 10-14 business days. When I called they said the soonest my items could arrive wouldn’t be until March 28th! When I called to hopefully resolve this issue I was told that they make no guarantees and they are not responsible for delays. I was unable to move into my new home because of these delays. I needed furniture, which is why I bought these items. The company should keep better inventory of their items to inform customers at time of purchase that items are on back order (which was my issue). Me personally I feel they do know their inventory and just want to make money so they choose not to tell their customers. They also have poor communication. I was told several times I would get return phone calls with information in a certain time frame, I was never contacteded. I was told I would have a 4-7pm delivery and they ended up coming to the house at 9am. This was even confirmed by the routing manager. They forgot the box spring and had to wait additional weeks because they were also on back order because they were never added on the receipt. I was appologized to and told they would compensate my inconveniences. My purchase was over $6500, they offered me 1.5% off my purchase for compensation. In the mean time I had to pay over $2,500 in bills on a house I couldn’t live in (no furniture) because of their errors. When I told others of my experience they said this was common issue with Ashley and they had other friends have the same issues. I Wish I would of known this sooner. I will not shop at Ashley Furniture again or recommend it to others.

Stopped into Ashley Homestore in Fairview and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a young lady named Maryona who turned out to be professional, knowledgeable, attentive and a great representative for Ashley Homestore. The furniture was well made and placed in attractive settings. After choosing a bed we were on to the living room. It was actually hard to choose one as there were several that fit my requirements. This was my first experience at Ashley but will certainly not be my last. With the help of “Maryona” and a great sale, I was thrilled with my purchase.

Went to the Fairlawn store on 3/12/18 and worked with Emily. First and foremost she was fun to work with, not pushy and went above and beyond to help me. I made a purchase and the next day went back to to try to find a different chair than the one I purchased previously. She did everything she could to try to find me an alternative chair, but I couldn’t find anything that I really liked. She told me to take my time and that she would keep me in mind as new shipments came in. Even though the total sale was reduced, because I changed my mind on the chair, she still gave me service with a smile! She is awesome! She made what is a bit stressful process for me a little bit less stressful, a little bit easier and plenty fun!

Bought a new sectional from the brick and mortar store rather than online. Paid $400 more so I could take advantage of the 'peace of mind guarantee' that I was told would keep the thing in tip-top shape for 5 years. The sales lady was told that we have kids and pets who are rough on furniture, and she said that we could have a once-per-week cleaning if we got the notion, so I thought the extra money would be worth it. 4 months later, the fabric is pilling, the seat and back cushions are sagging, the kids spilled, and the pets scratched. When I tried to submit a claim to Ashley's third party warranty company, not only was the process unbelievably cumbersome, but none of these issues were covered by the guarantee. After numerous calls to both companies, I'm still not sure what IS covered. I submitted a claim under the manufacturer warranty and only received 50% of the seat cushions. Even if I were to have gotten an entire new sectional, it would have only held me over for another 4 months. The quality is not worth a fraction of the $1,600 it cost, prices from online retailers are hundreds cheaper for the same models, the 'piece of mind guarantee' is good for nothing, and the sales folk will say anything to get a commission.

I went here looking to buy a bed but couldn't because nobody would service us. We drove 30 minutes out of our way to the store. We looked around and decided on a bed then waited THIRTY MINUTES to be helped. Nobody came to help. Nobody greeted us at the door and plenty of associates walked by and nobody said anything to us. We were never asked if we needed help or told that someone would be with us soon. I left angry because I actually really wanted the bed we had picked out but apparently nobody wanted to sell it to us. I was ready to spend some money in this store but I guess your company will not be getting my business. Honestly unbelievable!

Went into the store just to look around and walked out with a living room suit and bedroom suit. The salesperson we had was Kait Darby and she was great. I really appreciate that she knew her way around the store and her products. She gave me the confidence to believe in the store's products. She took her time with us also even though we were there for 3 hours but it was worth it. The only thing I wish the store had was more products available. It's hard to see something online that you like but you can't see it on display. Overall I had a great experience and wouldn't mind buying some more furniture in the future from here. Plus the warranties that they carry are awesome!

They also sale an promote scam insurance from Platinum Warranty Services. Do let them hustle you into buying this scam insurance that is a complete rip off! You will be giving extra money away bc they will not honor any claim even if it is within their terms an agreement that Ashley’s will try their best not to disclose. Save your time an money. DO NOT BUY AT ASHLEYS FURNITURE.
I went into the Ashley Homestore to look for a Sofa, Loveseat and oversized chair. I have to say that I had the best consultant ever.My consultants name was Alicia. She was able to show me just what I wanted. I also got great prices on everything that I purchased .Alicia was very helpful. She even helped me get quick financing. My mom came in with me also. Since she had purchased from the store before and referred me I was able to get 18 months 0% financing. I was also able to use a coupon for 10% off my purchase from retail me not. On September 30, 2017, my wife and I went to the Fairlawn Ashley store with no plans of buying anything. We were just beginning to look. Our salesperson, Kait, was great to work with. She was personable, patient and not at all pushy. We ended up buying an entire bedroom set and mattress that day. Kait went out of her way to work with us to make sure we got the furniture we wanted at a price we felt comfortable with. On another note, our furniture and mattress were delivered yesterday. Everything was great, except the mattress had a huge bunched-up bubbled section of the pillow top on the left and top (by the headboard). As a result, the pillow top does extend to the edge of the mattress on the top or right sides (it is about 5-6 inches from the edge of the mattress in both places - resulting in a depression right where you would put your pillow). The delivery men, who were also very personable and helpful, told us the mattress would return to its original shape within a few hours (and the shape issue was from storage and transport). After a night of sleeping on it, the bunched-up bubbled section of the pillow top remains. I had to sleep with my pillow further away from the headboard to avoid the depression, which resulted in my feet extending beyond the bottom edge of the mattress. We have a call in to customer service and are awaiting a response on how they are going to make this right.

She was personable and appeared to know every piece in the store. Can't say enough good about her or the store! Would definitely recommend them to family and friends!!! We will go back.

I wrote my review, and Ashley responds that they were sorry that my experience didn't live up to my expectations. That my complete satisfaction with both product and service is their goal. They wrote if I'd like to discuss it further or if they can have an opportunity to earn my business, that I should contact them so a member of the management team could reach out to me. Well I did as they instructed, sent my information to them, and have yet to hear from anyone.

We were out shopping on Labor Day looking for dressers and had a fantastic experience here! Kim was so great to work with, no pressure and answered all of our quesitons. Not only did we find those dressers, but also ended up with a new sofa and loveseat. The doorbuster was too good to pass up! My husband and I came into Ashley furniture store today at the fairlawn location and was shopping for a new bed. Our sales person was Emily and she did absolutely amazing and helped us with our questions and purchase. And stayed with us every step of the way to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Even when it came to the size of the bed and the different mattresses. She even showed us the Tempurpedic mattress. Witch we're pretty comfortable. I am so happy with my experience we will definitely be going back when my family needs furniture. And we are really excited for our new bed!!!
My mom and I visited on Sunday. From the moment we walked in we had a great time. We worked with Kim who walked us through the entire store looking for a specific style sofa. Once we found "the one" she walked the entire store yet again with us to find the perfect accent chair. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality furniture they offer. In addition the delivery fee and protection package are extremely well priced and convenient. I know where I will be shopping for every piece of furniture in the future!

Toby was absolutely phenomenal to work with! We were just browsing through the store for a new sectional for our basement and spotted one we liked. I went in there this past Saturday shopping for a mattress set. Kim was my salesperson. Kim was really awesome from beginning to end. I never felt she was trying to sell me anything, instead she really "helped" me to find the mattress that was rightly priced and would suit my needs. Everyone in the store was very friendly and accommodating. I gotta tell you I walked out of there smiling with a great mattress set and can't wait for it to be delivered! Horrible. Ordered two twin beds March 4. Estimated delivery date was March 25. I realize this is an estimated date, but I figured they were estimating within a week or so. Called to schedule delivery and they told me April 12. Ok, I can live with that. I received a call this morning telling me they won't be in until May 14!! After I have the mattresses and box springs in my living room wall to wall. Terrible experience, stressful and not worth it.
We got a crouch a chair and a half and a ottoman and thay said it would come april first 2017 then about 3 days before we got it thay said the chair and ottoman couldnt come then the story gets even better Saturday april first comes and the people call and say that thay frogot to load the couch on the truck what is this crap?

My husband had a bad experience in the past with Ashley so we had not purchased anything there in over 12 years. We decided to give it another shot and boy was it a mess. Not only did Ed Berns mess up our order twice he charged us full price for a hutch that was on clearance and then charged us for an extra bench that already was included with our dining room set. Our stuff was delivered today and now we find out that he also put in the wrong chairs for our dining room table and he also put in the wrong dresser. This all just confirmed how we should have shopped elsewhere. Not happy at all and if you do decide to shop here I would not recommend Ed Berns over at the Ashley in Fairlawn, Ohio.
My girlfriend and I bought the Pitkin sectional and our experience from start to finish was great! Kait helped us find a couch that suited our needs and did an excellent job of letting us know the options we had with each piece we looked at. The delivery was painless and the movers were friendly and careful. We are very satisfied about our overall experience. And the couch itself is very comfy!
I came into Ashley Homestore looking for new furniture for my house and was greeted by Linda. We started looking around for ideas and 4 hours later I had purchased 4 rooms of furniture. It was an enjoyable experience with Linda and the mgmt team Eric and Wesley, they made it easy and FUN!!! I will be back after I move in to get with Linda and get whatever I forgot to purchase. Bought Two Couches a few months ago when one of the motors on the recliner stopped working . Called customer service they sent part, tech got to our house..... Wrong Part sent a motor the problem was a switch . Called customer service again talked to a supervisor she swore they would send the correct part . Part arrives called the tech guy gets there, wrong part they sent a power converter not a switch. Call customer service yet again when I was upset with the person on the phone she could could care less would not arrange for part to be overnight ed . Soooooo the part arrives yet again called the tech he arrives looks at the box said this doesn't look right opens it yup Wrong part it was a motor again. Called customer service who could care less had to Make her talk to the tech. Would not overnight the part . I called the store asked for the Manager she offered me a store credit (as if I would step in this place again) Found out when I asked for the owner that she really wasn't the manager got to him he could care less and transferred me back to customer service . This place should not be permitted to sell Cat furniture
Kim was awesome and purchasing the living room furniture was pretty painless. Working with the delivery people on the other hand has not been very pleasant. Had a hard time scheduling, was supposed to get a 1/2 hour call ahead but it was only 15 minutes and not enough time for me to get home, and pillows were forgotten. I called about the pillows a week ago and they were shipping them Fed Ex - OH to OH. Still no pillows but i did get a call today about scheduling their truck to bring them out. Thinking about more furniture but don't know if it's worth it. Ugh!
We ordered a sectional, ottoman, and rug. The rug delivered was the incorrect size and they would not give us the correct size without charging us additional for it. We told them we wanted to return it. We were told we could only be given store credit for the return and we would be charged a restocking fee. Finally, after a lot of pressure from us we were able to receive a full refund for the rug. The ottoman was defective. We called customer service. We had to order the replacement part. It took almost 2 weeks to get the part. When it was delivered it was the wrong part. I had to call again for the correct part to be delivered. We had to wait almost 2 more weeks for that to be delivered. This was again the wrong part. So, again, I had to call customer service. Finally the third time they realized they cannot order the defective replacement part and have to replace the entire ottoman. Now we have to wait 14-21 days for the delivery of the new product. It takes way too long to get items delivered, incorrect items are delivered, and I have had to spend way too much time on the phone with customer service. Customer service is HORRIBLE!
I really can't say enough bad things about this place. I purchased a whole living room set (a sofa, loveseat, two nesting end tables, a coffee table, and a round table). I was told these items would take up to 3 weeks to be delivered. I thought it was all good to go and scheduled my delivery. Upon the week of my delivery I get a call saying that some of my items will not be delivered and would be delivered the following week. This was fine, until I get a call this week telling me not all items will be delivered until next week. Both, my mom and one of my best friends have had horrible and similar experiences with Ashley. Wrong product deliveries, unkept promises of when products would arrive, etc. My sofa arrived with stains on it. I've decided to cancel my last shipment because I think it's ridiculous that I am continually lied to about when I will be receiving my products. I'm only waiting to see how long those products will be cancelled off my bill. 🙄
This is a great place to go if you want to pay more for cheap, poor quality furniture. They were way overpriced compared to other stores I compared them to. I also wanted to look around and only come in for 10-15 minutes to browse. Well the sales lady followed me around and continued to show me pieces that were outside of my budget and not even what I was looking for. They try to push financing options on you to make you forget that you are overpaying. I did not like the pushy sales feeling I got.

I went to Ashley to purchase a new mattress. As I entered the store, I was promptly greeted by Kim, and then she assisted me from this point forward. She took me to the mattress area and had me test several mattresses. Kim was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about each product and brand and with her guidance, I found exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely return to Ashley and look for Kim for future furniture purchases.

I have made prior purchases of furniture at the Fairlawn location. The furniture was delivered as promised. No hassles or damages, the delivery men were very careful in their set up, prompt and courteous. On my recent purchase, I was sold a new Beauty Rest mattress by Kate Darby. Kate was knowledgeable of the product she was selling, eager to help with my needs and listened carefully. This is hard to find in today's retail stores. If you want to feel like a number, this is not the place. If you want attentive low stress sales, then this is the place. Ask for Kate Darby! The Entire team there is great. Chris

Toby knew the ins and outs of every product, the pricing, and was extremely helpful. I realized halfway through working with her that I had met her previously in a book club, and she seemed to be the same person both in store and in the club: a natural salesman who was very genuine and honest. All around, she found us the perfect couch for our apartment, our needs, and our budget. We will definitely be working with her again.

Is it possible to give zero stars? I bought a table from this company back in October which was later delivered in November. I have had nothing but issues with this table since. To start with, the first chairs delivered were so uneven that I felt like I was on a rocking chair. I refused to even accept these and had them immediately returned. On the second delivery attempt the chairs remained uneven but they offered to have a technician come out and repair them. A little over a week ago the technician came out and said he was unable to fix one of the chairs due to a manufacturing defect and would have to order new legs. As of now I am still waiting on the legs. This was just the start. On Saturday my finance and I had a dinner party and used our leaf for the first time. After removing the leaf we notice that there was now a bump in the table due to one of the holes splitting where the leaf is inserted. I called customer service and sent them an email with the attached image. After speaking with them they have now told me that I must have spilled something and that they will not cover this! I am an honest person and I can state that I am a 100% certain that nothing has ever been spilled on this table. I cannot believe that I have spent over $2,000 dollars on this furniture to be told that there is nothing they can do for us! Moral of the story, do not ever buy anything from Ashley HomeStore unless you want to be treated like garbage.

We got a great deal on a couch, the two guys just dropped it off. They covered the floor, wrapped our doorway to prevent damage, set it where I asked then repositioned it all with a smile. Nice couch great service. Tom
We love our sectional very much but getting it was quite the chore! It was first delivered the wrong color. When we called to state we got the wrong color...we made SEVERAL phone calls to SEVERAL different people to try to get this corrected. Each one kept telling us "we'd get a call tomorrow" & that call never came. We always ended up calling someone else a couple days later. Finally we got somewhere & Ashley Furniture called stating they would deliver our correct furniture & take the wrong furniture at the same time....3 weeks later! We kept advising everyone from the beginning we had 2 Black Labs & a cat. They told us to keep it in "new" condition. You try that with 2 dogs & a cat!!! We covered the furniture with every flat sheet we had but we still had to sit on it because it's a sectional in the middle of our room & how else are we going to watch TV? It was a long 3 weeks. There was never any compensation/gift card/nothing for being inconvenienced. We will not be going to Ashley Furniture any longer!!!

We found a table that we loved. We applied for and received a line of credit under an Independence Day promotion (yes July). The set was originally scheduled to arrive 8/12, and then a couple days prior to delivery, we were notified that the set was backordered. New day, 8/30. On 8/30 the set arrived (minus the benches, those were still backordered) and the tabletop was fractured all the way through the length. We obviously refused. We contacted CS, and they assured us that our brand new full set would arrive 10/1 (today). Guess what? The set arrived (used with scratches) with mismatched parts that would not assemble and without the 2 parson's chairs (at least we had 2 good looking benches). Needless to say, we had to refuse this set as well. We cancelled the order. To make things worse, we have yet to receive a call back from our salesperson, Alicia from messages that were left for her on 8/30. In summary: it has taken almost 3 months to still not have a viable dining room set. We opened a vestigial credit line. We gave away our old set based on Ashley promises. And we still have not received any calls from the sales or management team at this particular Ashley location. The best part of the experience were the fine and conscientious delivery crew, who pointed out the defective furniture and parts. That is the only reason they got 2 instead of 1; it's called integrity.

I was there in the Fairlawn office and I went in late almost at closing not thinking they could help me and my salesperson Joe was so helpful. I ended up coming back the next morning and when he couldn't give me full details on mattress he referred me to Karen Harris and she was awesome. Between the two of them I am now a proud owner of a new bed and pillows and I no longer wake up with back aches. I described to her the pain I was in and where it hurt and she was able to pick out the perfect mattress. I am forever a customer.

We had went to the fairlawn location and had a wonderful experience with Toby. She really listened to our needs and didnt create a high pressure enviroment. Toby showed us around and then let us explore and then when we decided she made the process so easy and explained everything. About a month ago I was in the Ashley Homestore in the Fairlawn area. The reason for my visit was my dismay at a recent purchase I had made at the North Canton Store. After checking many furniture stores in our area I just was not seeing what I wanted. I found a living room suite that I liked a lot in the showroom but was not so sure that it was working for us when it arrived at our home. An employee from the Fairlawn Store by the name of Alicia Robinson approached me to ask if she could help. I told her what my concerns were and she went right into Action to make sure that I would be able to make adjustments to my purchase so that I would be happy. Without her interaction with me I may have left the store very unhappy. She gave me the information that I needed to make my purchases right.I really appreciated her guidance and help. I am getting married in July and my fiance and I really wanted a new bed as a present to ourselves. We visited Levin furniture first because we were already in the area visiting JCPenney. Their selection was vast, however, the only financing they offered was to pay up front and take your purchase home that day or you could do a "layaway plan". However, if you did their layaway plan and your items went out of stock you were out of luck. Recently my friend purchased a new bedframe. I asked her where she purchased it from and she said Ashley Furniture. From the moment I entered Ashley Furniture, the sales associate, Matt Carter, was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He understood our budget, offered options and found different ways to help us afford what we were looking for. He was never pushy or tried to make a quick sale but rather showed us options and helped us select the best choice for us. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for new furniture. They have great financing options available and their staff is great. I will definitely be looking to furnish my future home from Ashley Furniture

Purchased a bedroom set at the Fairlawn location last week. Marcia was the sales associate that helped us. She was very informative and well versed in the information. I went to the Fairlawn store to see about decorating my living room. Ive been looking everywhere in town but nothing worked for me. I met Marcia who understood what I was looking for because I really like the additions she showed me which I had to have. I really liked the great way Marcia treated me and my wants. My wife and I recently purchased a dining/kitchen table and chairs set. Justin Brinker was our consultant. He was very good to work with, especially since our 3 and 5 year olds were bouncing off the walls and furniture. In addition to the purchase, we were well taken care of after discovering a minor blemish on one of the chairs that I did not notice when delivered. AF customer service was accommodating and allowed us to make a swap, even after I signed off on the goods. I highly recommend this location.

Wonderful experience from the time I walked in the door! Everyone there was very helpful and friendly! Needed a new bed and Brooke helped us find the perfect fit! I have had sleep issues for years and my husband has had multiple back surgeries, but after taking the time to explain the difference between each mattress, she helped us choose an adjustable bed that has made a HUGE difference! Life is better better with sleep, and sleep is so much better with my new Ashley bed! I will definitely go back when I need any more furniture!

We bought our kitchen table from Ashley Furniture in Fairlawn a little over a year ago and had a great experience. We love the quality and look of our table and chairs and definitely wanted to go to Ashley again for our couch and end table purchase we were going to make. Ironically, we ended up with the same Product Specialist we had the first time, Anna, who was so incredibly helpful and made the process quick, smooth and enjoyable! She was extremely attentive to helping me find the right look in regard to end table/couch combo's and ended up moving tables from all around the show room to set next to our couch choice to ensure we would love the arrangement together...I'm talking multiple tables...from all over the show room. She definitely went above and beyond what I would have expected walking into a furniture store as I'm very indecisive and asked a lot of question that required multiple trips to the computer to look up product dimensions, prices, availability, etc. Last thing, when we purchased our table we had to bring our 4 year old twins with us, Anna was so understanding and helpful in keeping them entertained and allowing them to try out different furniture pieces (with our supervision) that it made the experience super fun for our children while we shopped for a table. All in all, great experience, great products, great service, 5 stars all around. We will definitely be making all our future furniture purchases exclusively from Ashley!!

Please know how much I appreciated the non-pressure sale which in most sales circumstances makes me want to leave. Not the case with Karen Harris! She was engaged, informative, personable and knowledgable. When my mattress purchase was complete, I mentioned interest in a couch at which Karen called over Chelsea. She too was engaged, hearing my preferences. While completing my purchase the manager engaged with a smile and conversation. They were all warm. I felt like a person not a sale to be made. Changed our mind several times and worked with a very patient sales manager who was visiting from the Canton store, named Amber. She was terrific and we are very satisfied with our purchases of a sofa and recliner. She was helpful while not pushy and very pleasant. The Brooklyn Ashley store is closer to us but we found the Fairlawn store offers a much more pleasant shopping experience.

The store associate Brooke was very helpful in the process of selecting the correct furniture and the size of the furniture. She and all other employees were very helpful, yet it didn't feel as though they were trying to sell you something, more just answering your questions and making your feel comfortable with the thought of the purchase. It is 6:44pm my delivery time was 3-6pm and thats not all my friends. The store experience was great and the sales staff and the floor items were also and that is where it ends. Once I agreed to the 3 week delivery time I was happy with my purchase. However a week before my items were scheduled to be delivered I got a call from the company telling me it would be another 2 plus weeks for my items. I was not happy with this as I spent a good deal of money and told the customer service rep that I wanted to return. She said should would give my complaint to a manager and I would get a call back. About 2 hours later I got a call back and was told that my 2nd item was delayed but she would try to get it in on time and would call me back in two days. She said she would call me to verify that the order was on time. Three days later I never got a call so I called back as I did not get a call and then was told that all my items would be there on time. Now I am that person so the next day I call back just to check and then was told my 2nd item would not be there on time. I told the rep that I wanted to return and she said I would get a call from a manager. Never got a call (at this point I am not shocked). So its now 6:55 no call from Ashley and I am not going to call them. If at least one of my promised items that I paid for is not hear I am going to go look for another company to give my money to. I work in retail management and clearly your company needs some help! If you want to buy from this company great! But it will take forever to get what you paid for. What did I pay for? Its 7:00pm now :( ( Did call them now 7:11pm. I was told the truck will be here at 7:45pm which is great as I did not want to do anything on my only day off this week. I was also told that I will get a call from a district manager.... we will see lol
Took way longer to receive item than they told me and when it finally came in it was the wrong color. Plus, they only let you pick up your items on certain days. Very inconvenient.
I give two stars for price. The sales department is slow to calculate pricing and they said i could not get these deliver to Columbus. They neglected to inform me that there are Ashley furniture stores in Columbus and could easily deliver, if they were owned by the same franchise. I did not find this out till 24 hours after purchase when it would then cost me a large percentage to restock. then, they estimated the items would be ready for pickup on June 10. We ordered May 17th and after i had to call on June 23rd, the new arrival date is maybe July 2nd. If the truck is not full. I will not be returning to this location.
Nice store, decent quality items, decent prices. They will negotiate on pricing and can even come below others like Wayside for the same items. My bedroom suit arrived on the date we set up and the moving crew did a great job bringing it to my second floor master bedroom and setting it up. The furniture however had some damages to it, possibly from shipping. The bed side rails had cracks at the connection points, the foot of the bed had been damaged through the veneer and covered with a stain and the dresser corner had been damaged through the veneer. I requested that they bring me new pieces, that process was easy and they even made an exception to deliver it on a Saturday and let me keep those pieces until the new delivery. I was unhappy at first but the situation was remedied quickly and easily.
