The Review is based on some new policy, where the store cannot take care of the customer, for some "corporate reason" I have purchased well over 20K from this store and the Marion store. My 1 year 2 week old recliner left me stuck in the full recline mode (I am a larger person) due to a failed motor (that is a phone diagnosis) And I am left with the bill for the parts and labor, needed to fix it. I know this is the new way of business, just though a family owned store would DO BETTER!

Jeanna at the Ontario, Ohio location is awesome! She spent around 6 hours total with us on 3 different days. My husband has neuropathy in his feet and needed a power chair that rocks. She never gave up helping us find one that would fit his needs, and go with the sofa we picked. Our son is 14 and very tall he needed a reclining sofa with extended head and foot rest. Jeanna was very patient, kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend her to anyone who goes to this location! She will go above and beyond to meet your needs.

Purchased a kitchen table with 4 chairs and a bench at the Mansfield Ashley Furniture Store on Lexington Springmill Rd. I Specifically asked sales person if everything in the display was included in the sale price. Was assured the sale price included everything on two different visits. One when I purchased it and again when my wife came to look at it to be sure she liked it. When it was delivered there was no bench. I was told it wasn’t included in the sale and wasn’t on the sale receipt. I told manager the sales person on two separate visits said it was included and the sign on the table also listed all these pieces. He refused to honor this sale and said I’d have to pay an additional $200 fee for the bench. I refused delivery and requested a full refund. Classic Bait and Switch with sales person saying whatever they need to get the sale! Will never buy from this store again. Am also complaining to corporate as well!

Found out on Facebook about the one day sale they were having. Went to look around and was greeted right away by the manager. He guided me back to the mattresses and helped me out for a little bit. Then Ronnie came along. He answered my questions, guided me on which mattresses are best for health benefits and lumbar support. My boyfriend and I finally came to a decision on the perfect mattress and power base. Including vibration and adjustable head and feet. We are so excited to get this bed in and got it for a really great price. Ronnie was super helpful, fun and kind. Although we didn’t get our free pillows (inside joke) we are happy with our purchase.

I was really excited for my new couch I got from Ashley's till 3 months after having the couch the fabric started to fall apart we were really busy trying to find a new place to live to be able to call about the couch then when I finally called they pretty much just told me not our problem and it's "normal wear and tear" when it's definitely not no one was willing to help with the issue they just said oh we can order you new covers I don't know why I would when 3 months later they would do the same thing I want my money back but I know that won't happen glad you guys talked us into a extra $200 warranty that covers nothing

Ronnie made this process a breeze, we went in nervous because this was our first new furniture purchase. Ronnie instantly calmed us down and made us feel appreciated and like he really cared for our concerns. We expressed how we have pets and that this was a big fear of ours for the longevity of the purchase but he reassured us that with the 4 year protection plan our worries would be taken care of. It was so easy I even decided to get a desk and a computer chair during the same visit. Will definitely be coming back in the future and recommending this to all peoples buying any new furniture.

The bed I purchased is a beauty rest hybrid plush medium mattress. I am in love with it! I also purchased 2 of the balance pillows. A bit pricey but so worth it. Just after the first night sleeping I felt I had such great sleep! Overall I feel the process took way too long to purchase but satisfied with my sales rep and with my purchase.

There is nothing special about me. I walked into Ashley furniture store looking for a sofa and love seat for my basement. I didn’t want to break the bank, but I didn’t want anything cheap either. When I walked through the doors, I was immediately greeted and directed to Kate Fick and Ron who was training with her today. 2 hours later I had made my purchase. 2 hours Kate and Ron were by my side. Helping me make my selection. No pressure sales, worked within my budget, discussed financing options, they were more than patience with me as I decided on how I wanted to pay for my selection. Kate talked with my husband on the phone as he wasn’t with me, what she had already told me, about the furniture I selected. It truly took me 2 hours to make my choice on sofa and love seat and how I was going to pay for it. I walked out of the store feeling like a VIP, and at peace with my selection and payment option. Jeanna was absolutely amazing!! When I arrived I asked her to give me my space and she did just that and respected my boundaries. I loved the fact that she gave me my personal space and didn’t follow me around everywhere I went. However, when I needed something she was there right away with no hesitation. I know some people love having someone right there at all times, but I am a type of person that loves to take my time to look, feel, touch, etc by myself without feeling hovered and Jeanna gave me my space and that my was my best experience yet! Exceptional service deserves mention and praise! Last week I went to Ashley Home Store in Ontario to ask about a narrow table with seating and was greeted by Jordan who assisted me. I had a couple particular pieces in mind from an online search. He streamlined the sales process by showing me several selections in store and online and left me to browse throughout the store, yet within sight if I had questions. Took my Mom in to shop for a new mattress. Manager greeted us immediately and offered us a wheelchair for Mom. She can walk but slowly and being on her feet too long is hard. She's 86. All associates were busy with other customers so the Manger helped us for a bit til Chandler was available. Both were great! Chandler was very helpful. We did buy a mattress! Looked at living room furniture next and Chandler went out of his way to help. He even went and grabbed cushions from chairs in other areas of store to show me how they would look with a couch I was interested in. Only complaint I would have is having a delivery fee but overall I enjoyed shopping at Ashley

I bought a table and chairs from Ashley a few years ago and I purchased the extended warranty. A few months ago I had a chair that needed a repair called the repair company and 4 months later still waiting. So I decided to call Ashley for help. I had a very nice man name Kevin answer the phone. Kevin ordered the parts I needed to repair my chair. He made me feel important enough to help me. Thank you Kevin for being so awesome. I had Jeremy let me no my parts were in . He was such a great help He carried the box to my car and told me if I need anything please give Ashley a call. So amazing. 4 months later my chair is fixed thanks to these 2 men. They went way beyond there jobs I'm sure so I want to say thank you to both of you for helping me. Acts of kindness.

I purchased a dining set in the Mansfield, Ohio store. I worked with Shelbi for 2 days. She is such a great gal. Answered all my questions, took time to show me them all, and even took chairs to other sets to see what I liked best. Only downside to purchasing here they will not price match. The manager said no and Shelbi totally understood if I went elsewhere. When it came down to apples to apples it wasn’t much, but I feel bad for those losing a sale and commissions because the big guys at the top still get their pay. Come on since you are independently owned go back to price matching. You might keep some great employees and Shelbi was great!!!!!!!

Having limited space, I bought a reclining loveseat and was told the back could be up against the wall. Huge lie about "special features"!! Product must be placed 5 inches from wall to prevent wall damage while fully reclined. Why can't people just be honest, is it too much to ask? They just lost my business and I will be telling everyone I know. Shop elsewhere if you want honesty. Product #3990596 incase anyone is about to purchase this item.

Giving only 3 stars as we have not received items yet. Sales person is a gem and could sell anything smoothly. This is apparent as I struggle with buyers remorse between conversation and final sale. One item on Ashley’s website almost $1000 cheaper and bigger. Same product (entertainment center). Manager claims sku# means made of cheap particle board and self assembly unlike heavy duty in store item. Perplexed over description reading exact same materials. Additional review pending. UPDATE received furniture. Came in 2 weeks which is great! USB ports do not work on couch or love seat. We will address that. $600 Red Carpet delivery does not include items such as end tables. Delivery guy left them in boxes, said doesn’t know why they tell people all things are put together. They are not. Still trying to get pop up sofa to slide out. Will address that as possible not together correctly. All in all furniture looks nice.

She gave us the space we asked for but remained close by in case we had questions, which we did and Kate answered them with full knowledge of every item we looked at. I find this rare in these days. Sales person, Alex and Tara were great. However, it's been a good 2 weeks and I haven't heard from the store re; setting up delivery date. This happened when we bought our couch and recliner,only we were told then 3 to 4 weeks and it ended up being 3 to 4 months and when we would call or stop out the other sales ppl would get nasty with us stating that we were never told weeks it was months.when both my husband and I heard that sales person sat weeks. The new manager did do us right by compensating us as this is one reason why I returned to get the bar stools. But it looks like I am gonna have to get on them again since no one has called yet.

I had a good experience at my local Ashley’s Furniture store today. I wasn’t expecting to purchase furniture today but was surprised that I actually did. My salesperson, Aubrey, was the main reason why. He was very knowledgeable about the different options presented to me. Ultimately, I felt satisfied with my decision.

We stopped in Ashley's and was pleasantly greeted at the door by Kate. She had a big smile. She was happy to direct us to what we were looking for and asked if we needed help. We told her we were just looking. There was "NO" pressure at all. Kate came back to check on us and offered us a drink and asked if we were finding what we needed. Because she was not pressuring us, we felt very comfortable with asking her questions. We did purchased a sofa and our whole experience was very relaxed. We thank Kate very much for helping us and she is such a sincere, genuine person. Would definitely go back and we highly recommend that you ask for Kate.
We were warned by friends not to shop here but after shopping many stores Ashley had the only TV stand I liked. The stand was delivered with a broken corner and inner shelves that didn’t even connect where they should. I called immediately upon receipt and was told someone from Marion would contact me within a couple days. That was twelve days ago. Luckily I have a handy husband that spent a few hours making our new furniture actually look like new. Wouldn’t even consider shopping here again. I gave two stars only because the salespeople were pleasant and helpful.

Then Shelbi was very helpful also. When we went in the next day to make our purchase, Jordan was able to get everything covered for us in a very professional and helpful manner!!!

Chandler was super personable and helpful. We came in for a rug, didn't find one we liked, but we ended up leaving with an order for our brand new bed! I was testing out beds, more for fun than anything. He pointed us in the direction of a particular bed set-up. The bed was soft as can be and the sale included a free adjustable bed frame, which is a must have for me and my girlfriend. We've been looking around for a long time for the perfect bed and Chandler found ours for us it would seem.
My family and I came in to shop for a couch for our home. Kate greeted us as soon as we walked in and was friendly. Trying to shop for couches with 3 little ones make it tricky and she stayed patient with us the entire process while showing us different couches and what not. The customer service was great and we were highly impressed!!

My husband and I purchased a new sofa, loveseat and dinner table with chairs from the Mansfield location. Jordan, our salesperson, along with the other staff was very friendly. He was patient with us as we decided which items we wanted to purchase. Jeff and Adam delivered our furniture. They were very kind, courteous and friendly. They set the items up and tested the electronic parts before they left. Very pleased with both of them.

I walked into my local Ashley furniture store with the high hopes of buying the couch of my dreams. I was greeted by a woman named Kate when I walked through the doors. She helped me through every obstacle and did not let me settle for less than what I wanted. She brain stormed every option to help me get exactly what I wanted. This was my first successful attempt at buying brand new furniture. I am beyond grateful for the woman who made this process so easy for me! I cannot wait for my new furniture to arrive!

This is our 3rd big purchase from Ashley. We've had a great experience each time. Unfortunately, this is our first review. We'd give the other times 5 stars as well. Our Sales Woman Alex K. was wonderful, very attentive, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. She gave us our space to lounge and find the perfect living room set, while still checking in to see if she could answer any questions. The quality of the furniture we already have is great, hoping our new set continues that trend.

The experience was a great one, we were greeted not long after entering. Our salesman Chandler showed us what we wanted and then showed us what we needed. There was no high pressure sales. We thoroughly enjoyed his honest input and it was his input that ultimately drove our decision to purchase.

Purchased on Feb. 18 and delivered on March 9.

We were in the market to buy a lift chair for our mother who is 85. Jordan greeted us as soon as we walked in and was extremely helpful in answering our many many questions. See i don’t ever do reviews but this one i had to my salesman chandler was was extremely helpful in buying the furniture for my first apartment, Every question i had there was no hesitation we were right there and on it and i was able to get some extremely good deals, very well educated in his profession because i didn’t know what i was doing honestly but he was able to guide me in the right direction on every piece of furniture you can think of, and was super nice and friendly, 10/10 would buy from again.

We did purchase a chair, and returned the following week to purchase a love seat.
My life was changed after shopping in Ashley furniture homestore today- and i’m not joking. If you’re asking yourself why, it’s because of Nicolas. Never once did I feel like I was being sold to. I was having a conversation with someone who was Genuinely ready to help me furnish my new place. Fully committed, helpful, and very funny. My husband and I were thinking about shopping for either family room OR living room furniture over the weekend. We normally shop in Columbus just because of the wider variety and prices. Saturday afternoon, we were in the Mansfield/Ontario area,so we stopped by Ashley Furniture in Ontario. We were greeted with a very friendly "Hello" by Melissa, one of your sales associates. She asked if we needed help and we told her that we were going to look around. Melissa told us that she would check on us to see if we had any questions. We saw several sets that we liked and had a lot of questions. Melissa was very knowledgeable, helpful,professional, and patient! We took her contact info and told her we would be in touch. Yesterday, Sunday, we drove to Columbus, shopped at several furniture stores, including Ashley Furniture. The personnel were nice, but nothing like the Ontario Ashley Furniture store. We saw several sets that we liked, but kept saying, "this is nothing like the Ontario Ashley Furniture store's personnel like the manager, Sam and Melissa, the sales associate. So today, Monday, we made an appointment with Melissa. Again, we were greeted with a very friendly "Hello, how can we help you?" We replied, "we have an appointment with Melissa. This representative, Kate, took her time with me. If she had not done so, She might not have sold me the chair. She listened to me and me helped find the chair which met my needs. She had me draw a diagram of my room and discussed the placement of the various pieces. We did this while I was sitting comfortably in the different chairs. Even better I left with a new bed frame, and night stands. Without her help I would of made the mistake of buying things individually. Costing more money, and not matching. She was beyond knowledgeable about everything. From the type of wood to way the drawers roll out. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. I wish more companies had a hands on experience from a real professional like this. Reminded me why we should all go back to shopping in person over online. I won’t shop furniture anywhere else. When I purchased I loved my sales rep. Was very happy and first left a 5 star review. I called to cancel my order due to receiving a couch from a family member for free. Was told by Chandler I was not able to cancel. Looked online and verified I could. I called the store back and was told they’re not affiliated with corporate and they are privately owned. They stated they will not cancel the order unless I provide them their care kit they gave me at purchase. I asked to confirm that they would not cancel this order if I couldn’t locate and return the care kit? She stated she could not refund the care package, but then stated she wouldn’t cancel the order at all until the care package is returned. Luckily I located it, still in new condition so I’m able to cancel my order. Very disappointed with their customer service. It’s apparent commission is more important over customer satisfaction.

My wife and I walked into the local Ashley store looking for a sectional for our living room. We were greeted by Mackenzie, who, after introducing herself, asked if we wanted to look around first. We replied that we would and she proceeded to let us know she could reach out to her if we had questions. Very low key. We walked through the store looking at a number of sectionals and found one that we were very interested in. After looking at it for 5 minutes or so, Mackenzie approached us and asked if we had questions. From that point forward, she answered every question without us feeling the least bit pressured. Mackenzie was thorough, friendly and very interested in our needs. Completing the sale was easy as we opted for financing. We were in and out of the store in just over an hour. Would we return? You bet! Mackenzie and her manager, Kevin, were all-stars! We are looking forward to receiving our sectional. If the quality matched the sales experience, we will be very pleased. As we walked around they gave us our space at first and their sales person Melissa Keck was there when we needed her. We found a couch we really liked by the price was a little higher than what we wanted , I was able to find the same couch and loveseat cheaper in another website and Melissa immediately looked into price matching it ! We were greeted at the door by Nicolas. We told him while we were there he allowed us to browse on our own and would step in from time to time and ask if we need any help. He was very easy to work with and to talk to. He was very knowledgeable about the purple mattress and the adjustable bed frame. We did purchase a mattress and bedframe through purple and it was nice to be able to try the different mattresses out before we made the purchase. Nicholas was outstanding and helping make decisions and offering advice. It was almost like he could read my mind. I would definitely shop at the Mansfield Ashley store again and I would either like to shop with Nicolas or Carol

My experience at Ashley Furniture was excellent. Devin was knowledgeable and helpful. It is not easy choosing furniture with a thirteen-year-old girl. He exhibited patience and answered multiple questions with ease. I had to consider my finances before making the purchase. He reached out to check on me shortly after my visit. It was not in the overwhelming “salesman” type way. I appreciated his efforts and returned to make my purchases within a week.

Even though she was my first stop on my quest to find my sofa she treated me just as she would the million dollar customer. We had our parents look at the sectional first before we bought it since we are out of state, and they all loved working with him. Can’t wait to try out our new couch in a month! Our experience with the Ashley Furniture store was very pleasant. Our salesman was personable and efficient. Our furniture had to be made which was a surprise, I thought they were in stock. It did not take long for us to receive our furniture and the quality is great. My best experience was the men that delivered our sofa, loveseat and recliner. They were very careful when assembling the pieces, they Jeffrey and Brandon were 2 of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. They asked if we wanted them to reposition anything that they wanted to be sure we were happy with the way they were placed. They told us if we needed additional assistance who we could call. We are very thankful fir the great job all of you did. 👏

My salesperson Carol made my shopping experience at Ashley’s Furniture store very pleasant one. After I made my choice I was told that the delivery department would call to set up a delivery date. I had just left the store and I was getting into my car, my phone was ringing. It was the delivery driver Ace. My purchase was delivered 3 days later. I had to laugh because I not only got wonderful customer service from Carol my salesperson, I also got it from the delivery guy! Unbelievable that this kind of excellent service still exists.

I first visited and met KATE on Tuesday 14 September. At first I walked in and I had just received an important call, but I wanted to still look around. The sales people, including KATE, were well trained, and didn't swarm me at all, they left me alone until I was ready to talk. A+. KATE and I talked about what I wanted and she showed me several things. She listened well, and only showed me chairs and loveseats that fit what I was looking for. I told her my situation and she understood. I wasn't ready to commit to a full decision just yet, but KATE didn't pressure me, gave me her card, and I thanked her. Saturday 18 September 2021, I returned with my family, and KATE was there. YAY! KATE remembered me, and welcomed my family from FL. I was more prepared this time with measurements, and we only looked at more chairs this time. KATE was patient with me as I tried each one multiple times, and narrowed it down to one design, and finally which specific chair I wanted. I felt KATE was honest with me, and gave me good feed back to help me make my decision. Her and my mom talked, and after some time, with KATE's help, I bought a chair from her. Mom explained later that KATE understood Autism Spectrum Disorder, and she recognized it right away in me. KATE is great. Not only does Ashley Home look out for our service people, but KATE did a really really AWESOME job with a customer with an invisible disability and her willingness to work with me and help me. You can go in there and look at all the nice furniture but you won't get anything for months and months and months everything has to be ordered and I can't tell you for sure how long it's going to take for it to get delivered to you so don't expect anything to show up at your door in a couple weeks

We just purchased an electric fireplace and cabinet with Kelly's assistance. We are very satisfied with the furniture and services provided by Ashley Furniture.
I recently purchased furniture from them a little over a month ago. I was told upfront it would take longer than usual to arrive. (Not sure how that is when they produce everything in-house) but that's not my issue. The issue I have, is that at the time of purchase I was also informed that I would be updated on the details of my order no later than the first week of JULY! Here we are in the last week of JULY and after 3-4 attempts of me trying to connect with my salesperson (TERRY) I was told each call, they're having systems issues, salesperson was off or busy and that she would return my call. NOPE, NOTHING, this is the most unprofessional experience ever! NEVER again will I shop with Ashley again.

We had a great experience at the Ashley Furniture Home Store in Mansfield! We stopped a couple of days ago, we stuck around until closing, and they were amazingly accommodating to our rambunctious little 2 year old. We scheduled an appointment since we couldn’t finish everything in just one visit. Mackenzie was great! Very helpful! Very knowledgeable! Moved tables around so we could see the room. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. My wife and I would definitely go back, and we would definitely want Mackenzie to help us out. We look forward to going again in the future.

I have been buying furniture at the Ashley Homestore in Mansfield for ten years. Most of my furniture was bought with the guidance of sales associate Carole. She is very insightful and gives you the time and space needed to make decisions. I would recommend shopping at that location, especially with Carole without hesitation. The furniture is quality and the delivery and assembly is amazing.

My house burned down and we needed a mattresses that was in stock so I called ahead and gave the size and price range. The employee said he had 5+ in stock so I drove an hour to go look and when I got there, first thing in the morning the next morning, they had nothing. I will never buy from here again. They are liars and will do anything to get more commission out of you. I was lied to the first time I purchased here too.

Shelby did an awesome job telling us about the different comfort levels and features of the Tempur-pedic mattresses. We ended up buying one today. We felt very comfortable with her and we asked lots of questions. She was very friendly and informative. We also ended up buying a sofa and love seat as well.

**Edit - After speaking with the manager, Sam, he was very thorough and extremely understanding of my frustration. I appreciate the quick response from him and the wonderful customer service! Thank you, Sam! I really wanted and tried to give Ashley a chance, especially with the challenges of Covid. I work in the healthcare field, so I am more than understanding when it comes to wait times, delays, etc. I ordered 2 power reclining couches on December 6th and still have yet to receive them, now this would be fine if I would be kept updated on these delays. But, I have not been getting the monthly email updates that are promised to be sent and when I call into the store to get updates, the employee is unable to look up my order and tell me anything or they say it’s still in the 3-5 month timeframe, which it’s more than that now. I have been nothing but understandable so far, but I’m really irritated now. The same furniture that I ordered now says that it can be shipped in 8-14 weeks online, I’m on week 25. I’m hoping this will get me some answers, because I haven’t been able to any other way.

The first sofa and recliner set we picked out wouldn’t be delivered for 3-5 months and we needed one sooner than that... so she looked up some stuff and set us up with a set almost exactly like the first we had picked out, but we actually ended up liking more and we will get it within a couple weeks or less. Initially the ordering process was great...staff very helpful. After waiting a few months I tried to cancel the order. I was told all sales were final even though I had not received my order.....it was paid in full. I am now in my 4th month of waiting for order. I called to check on the status of order I am still waiting with no definite date of arrival...only to be told.... well, we gave you a 6 month time frame of possible delivery . I urge anyone wanting to buy.....if they have it in store I say yes. If you are ordering online do not order...all sales are final and you will more than likely be waiting many months.
Kate was very informative and easy to work with. Helped us get started in our new home. However we were disappointed by the way we were treated by the manager. Wanted us to buy a mattress cover. When I said I already bought one along with sheets and a quilt he stated that the warranty was then invalid. Threw his arms up in the air and walked away. There were no movers in the store and our sales associate and the manager were supposed to help load the mattress and foundation into our truck. The manager did not come and help two 60 year olds and Kate. We just bought a vacation home across from the lake and unfortunately will not be returning to finish furnishing it.

We went in to Ashley Furniture to look at lamps for our living room, salesman was Great, didn’t keep bothering us while we looked around the store and at one point they offered me a Bud Light while we shopped...of course I said Yes and we left with a pair of Lamps!
We bought a dining room table and server in Ontario Ohio. We didn’t really know what we wanted and Kate helped us narrow down what our wants really were. She asked us lots of questions to see what direction we needed to go. She showed us how the table extension worked and was very professional throughout. Kate is a true Sales person which made our purchase that much easier.

And still have no idea as to when our couch may be delivered since that date just keeps on Changing and getting pushed back with no actual reason or real end in sight. I'll update again IF we ever receive our couch or are forced to cancel the order* Shelbi was fantastic! She was very kind and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She was completely upfront and honest about the delivery timeframe and explained how come it could take up to 6 months (covid issues) She also knew exactly what couch we were looking for just by the name! Shelbi was amazing! She offered me wine while I looked around. Not only did I end up leaving with the furniture set I loved but the accent chair which was not included in the set. She pulled some strings, and got her manager to approve extra discounts. I was able to leave with everything I wanted within my budget! She was so nice and very helpful and knowledgeable. She was also upfront with my about the shipments being backed up and that it could be a while before the furniture was delivered.

Purchased two couches and a recliner during their Labor Day sale. Wasn't told until after we paid that the items wouldn't be in until early November. We were then given an update that furniture wouldn't be in until mid December. Got another update that pushed it back until early January. Contacted them again today and now they say early February. Keep in mind they have received full payment and have had my money for going on 5 months with no product delivered. There has been no offer to refund even a portion of the money they have of mine. Buyer beware! I understand Covid has caused delays, but 5 months is ridiculous.

They will fix you right up with any rips, tears, stains. Etc! Even if caused by kids or animals! Worth the extra $$!

Recently we purchased a bed from Ashley’s in Mansfield! We have purchased THOUSANDS of dollars from this store! When we went in and we’re ready to make a purchase they started question us about when the credit card was first used and what we bought etc! A manager walked over and requested to see the ID associated with the account and they went and put It under a black light to confirm it was real! Then when the manager came back he proceeded to tell us that we had to put a down payment on the bed to purchase it with our credit card! Then I quickly came to realization that they had assumed we had stolen the credit! They continued to question us about the use of the card until the purchase was over with!! The way that they acted towards us like we were criminals was INSANE! I will NEVER EVER in my life purchase another thing from this store! They 100% racially profiled us and decided before we had even spoke with them that we were stealing!
We came into Ashley furniture looking for a couch loveseat chair we just weren't quite sure what we wanted. Aubrey greeted us at the door and let us know he would be around if we had any questions as I had been there previously and wanted to drag my husband through the store. Seriously, Aubrey was great he is polite, helpful and very informative. We were not pressured at all simply were given facts and those facts made the difference in our decision. We ended up buying an all-leather couch and loveseat. The quality of the set and Aubrey's description and information of the set is what sold us. Please know we will be back again when we need something due to Aubrey's excellent customer service, genuine concern in regards to what we were saying as well as just a wonderful experience. We had not planned on buying that day we went in, but are so glad we did and are looking forward to the delivery of our purchase. You have a real gem in Aubrey. Salesman did a great job convincing me the furniture was coming sooner then they thought. I keep getting the run around when it might be here. Extremely disappointed with the customer service. They didn’t care what so ever when I asked if they had any idea when my purchase was coming from 11/7- still not here and they can’t answer when. They simply said sorry it’s no refunds and it will get here whenever it does.

Ordered furniture in late August. They said all was in stock. Was told mid october at latest for delivery. Then they said early November. Now saying 3rd week of November. So far nothing I have been told has been accurate. To get updates we have had to call them multiple times as they have not seemed to be able to call us back. Very unhappy.

Ashley Furniture has horrendous customer service when it comes to delivery! Moving into a new home, we ordered 3 bedroom sets and a living room sofa set. We were told upfront that there would be a delay with the sofa. However, the sales person said that the bedroom sets were in stock and we were given a time frame of one month. That came and went and we received NO communication. This went on for 4 more months. After the third supposed delivery date that was missed, I asked why they never phoned with updates...that all communication was initiated by me. I was told that our sales person was a manager and that she didn't have time for such! When we finally had delivery of two beds (still waiting on third), there were only half of the bolts to put the one bed together. It took 2 weeks to receive those and then they wanted to schedule out 2 more weeks to complete that delivery and assemble! (We had paid the delivery upcharge for set up and placement of furniture). To top all this off, the sofas were delivered today. They ended up being left in our driveway and we had to move them into the house! The reason being... they were in boxes, making them too large to fit through the door and the delivery men said they do not unbox furniture! Unbelievable! We will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture!

Ordered and paid for a couch and chair in the middle of June. Was first told I would get them towards the end of August, then it was the middle of September. It's the end of September and I still haven't received my furniture... I realize that COVID has slowed everything down, but this is ridiculous considering how much I paid for the furniture..

Had a wonderful experience buying furniture today with the help from Aubrey. He's was very kind, experienced and answered all of our questions. I would recommend this store to everyone. Edit: was told my couch would take about 3 months to be delivered to my house. Almost 6 months later and still no couch and was told it was going to be another month! Somehow my dates keep getting pushed back furth and furth after they tell me just 1 more month. Cancelled my order and moving on to a place that will actually deliver a couch on time.

Went in looking for a cheaper bedside table. The worker who greeted us asked us our price range and we told her something on the cheaper end. After showing us one table and us still not being sold on the price, she said “We don’t sell cheap furniture here. Try Walmart.” We immediately left and will not be going back.
This is the absolute worst place to go!!! They charged our bank account several different times over the month plus, it took to get furniture!!! 😥. We NEVER will use a company that messes with our bank account like this. Sometimes more than once a day over the course of the wait!! AND the delivered the furniture and didn’t finalize the charges until the next day. Absolutely NO reason for ANY company to tie up, and have their dirty fingers in my money for over an month. DAILY!!!! My balance changed. The furniture is very pretty and arrived in great condition. But it’s completely void after all the hassle just to pay for our items. Horrible experience. Don’t waste your time.
We ordered a dining room table in early February from the Ontario location and were told it would be delivered sometime in late March. Late March rolled around and I still had not heard anything, so I checked with our sales rep. She said the warehouse was behind and couldn't give me a delivery date. So we called the store and asked for a manager to help us. He gave a phone number for the warehouse/shipping department and expected us to check on it. (Isn't that their job?!) When we called the warehouse they said it could be delivered in three days. If we had not made that call, we probably would still be waiting for the table to be delivered. Once it was delivered, they were unable to set it up (due to current pandemic). Understandable, but....we were missing three screws and there was a small piece of wood completely missing on one of the table legs. We had to replicate our own piece just to get the table together. I called and spoke to the warehouse about the missing screws and they said they would ship new hardware to us. That was three weeks ago - and we still haven't received them. The entire experience was completely frustrating.

To be honest I got very nervous waiting for the delivery of my furniture. The price was so reasonable I worried that the sofa might end up looking cheap or be uncomfortable. Not so - it’s very pretty and super comfortable! Sales person was patient and friendly and delivery guys were just wonderful.
Do not get delivered. The driver is too ignorant to listen to owners of the property.

All of the individuals we dealt with were very patient, courteous, and kind. The only thing keeping me from rating a 10 was the amount of time I had to wait to receive my furniture. I was told mid December and it was very much late December before it arrived. It made the holiday more difficult.
Ashley furniture took great care of my family and I. The delivery only took a few weeks during their busiest season. The individuals who made the delivery were very professional and expedient. The biggest bonus is that this store honors US veterans and their families.

My furniture came in sooner than I expected which was a wonderful surprise. We picked up our furniture without any difficulties. When a person pays cash for an item that is really needed, you should be able to receive your purchase within a week. It has been nearly tw9Now told it would be another week. I could have purchased elsewhere and had been using by now.o weeks.

Two really helpful guys for delivery
We had purchased our family room set from here a couple years ago and were happy so decided to shop for our kids room we were redoing. Walked in and the lady at the front stand never looked at us. Walked all the way around the store looking at the kids bedroom sets. Walked back up front and stood between the front stand and the desk. No one greeted us or asked if we needed help, one guy even walked right past us. So we left and decided to shop elsewhere. Never have I been completely ignored in a store before.
Carol at this location is WONDERFUL! We have bought twice from her and will continue to return! I have NEVER had such a wonderful experience shopping for anything as I have with her...I highly recommend going in and asking for her, she will work to find you what you need in your budget!

Terrible we were moving and they assured us the furniture would be in before our move. Which it wasn't they didn't even call to tell me, just sent an email. When I called about it I was told they would have everything in except the dresser and they would deliver it all. The day we called to have it delivered we were told none of it was in and it would be another 3 weeks. We had to sleep in the floor the first night in our new home.. needless to say I cancelled my order and found the same furniture at value City 500 dollars cheaper. Also not one person at Ashley's apologized or tried to offer incentives after all this. I'll never be going back to this store!!

We went to Ashley Furniture in Mansfield Ohio to purchase a recliner. Due to some health issues I needed one I could comfortably sleep in. Ebony, the sweet young lady who helped us, led me to the perfect chair! She gave me plenty of time to sit in it to make absolutely sure it was the right chair for me. The chair was on sale too and right in our budget! They had one in stock so we were able to take it home with us that day. A couple of days later, when I was having a little trouble with the reclining mechanism I called the store. The next day Kevin from the warehouse stopped by our house on his way home to check it for us! Everyone there gave us exceptional service!!

I visited the store this afternoon, mainly looking to kill some time. I'm going to be renovating and redecorating a bedroom in my home from the ground up, and wanted to see if I could get some idea of styles, prices, availability, etc... When I entered the store, I was greeted by a woman who welcomed me to the store, and asked what I needed help with. I told her that I was just looking today. When she proceeded to ask me what I was looking for, I informed her that I wasn't looking for anything specific, and was more or less just killing time. She then told me about the sales and special promotions that the store had going on at that point in time. "A little pushy," I thought to myself, "But she's a saleswoman. . . this is her job." I had browsed through about half of the store, when the same saleswoman approached me again, and again asked if there was anything that she could help me with. "No, I'm still just looking," I replied. At this point, I've decided to leave the store. . . if I'm not going to be allowed to look at things in peace, then I'll come back when the store is perhaps a bit busier and there are fewer idle salespeople standing around. Said saleswoman then asks again if I am looking for anything in particular. At this point, I'm upset, and tell her that I wish to be left alone, and that again, I'm just looking. She then begins to tell me that it's her job to help customers find what they want, and to ensure that they have the sort of things that I was looking for. Fine, all well and good. . . you've made your point (and lost a sale). I began to make my way to the front of the store, feigning interest in a few things as I walked up to the front through the half of the store that I never even got a chance to see, but there she was, following me. . . Why, I'm not sure. . . perhaps she thought that I was going to shoplift a couch by stuffing it into my pocket and making a run for it. Such pushy, arrogant, rude, invasive and unprofessional salesmanship has guaranteed that I will never be back to shop at this location, or purchase anything from Ashley online. I'm a doctor; I had a rather generous budget to redo this bedroom, and I'll be spending it all at Crate and Barrel next time I go to Easton, rather than support a local business like this.

Ordered a couch in January, was told the furniture would be delivered in mid February. It is now mid March... still no delivery, no couch. Have not received update calls, instead we call them and keep getting our delivery time pushed back several more weeks. We will not recommend or purchase furniture from Ashley furniture in Mansfield, Ohio again! Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Selling products they cannot deliver on time. It's just wrong!!

Place shouldnt even get a star... ordered furniture week before black friday... showed up mid January was late... order was completely wrong. One of our beds didnt come with the right headboard, its now Feb nobody has called me still havent recieved my headboard, an they say they search through a different system they cant find us... funny when spends over 7000.00 in less then a year at one location youd think they would get your stuff right.
