Not a bad business, salesperson Daniele and the mgr were great in the sale of my bed, and Daniele was great in trying to help me resolve my issue. The company used for the delivery was super. Should I buy from them again, I will request they use the same delivery company.

Greeting upon entering store by a sakes representative...Danielle was very professional, friendly, helpful, she showed us what we were looking for, explain the bedroom set, the perfect mattress for this set. She worked her magic on sale for us, explain the delivery and set up, we were even given the date we wanted for delivery, very satisfied.

I usually shop at value city furniture but since Ashley had a similar set I wanted for $500 cheaper I went with them to my understanding quality was the same . They both had the same ish delivery dates . I paid for the furniture just to get a call a few days later for them to tell me I won’t get the furniture for another 30 DAYS AFTER the expected delivery date SMH ! I ask for a refund so I can go to value city and get what I want in the time frame I want it and they said I have to contact the sales person smh. I believe they just tell you a good delivery date just to get you to buy the furniture, than make you jump through hoops for a refund ! I will stick to value city or online furniture shopping for the future never Ashley again !!

Darionne was an excellent salesperson. He understood our needs & our wants & showed us different options that matched. He realized that we were in a tight position with small doorways, so that limited our options. He figured out that the recliners come apart & that they could fit the sofa through the doorways. We purchased one on the spot! It’s beautiful & it was on sale for an amazing price.! I have furniture in my house from Ashley, so I know the durability & comfort that they have. It will be delivered in 5 days & I couldn’t be happier!

After experiencing several delays I've decided that this company doesn't appreciate their customers and the inconveniences these delays bring. I'll no longer be buying anything else from this company. Furthermore, this isn't the first time I've been subjected to such subpar customer service. Same incidents occurred two years ago. VERY UNHAPPY AND DISAPPOINTED. Purchased furniture June 25th and it's now August 7th ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ and I still DON'T have a delivery date for the bed‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ UPDATED INFORMATION: AS OF TODAY SEPTEMBER 6TH I HAVE BEEN GIVEN TWO DELAYED DELIVERY DATES FOR THE BEDROOM CHEST REPLACEMENT THAT WAS DELIVERED DAMAGED IN AUGUST ‼️‼️‼️. FIRST DATE OCTOBER 15TH AND NOW OCTOBER 29TH. ASHLEY FURNITURE SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOU EVER AGAIN ‼️

Ashley Furniture Mayfield Heights is wonderful in so many ways. Our sales associate Alicia was amazing and took us through a wide selection at the store for our kitchen, great room and dedicated home theater. Great furniture at a reasonable price. The Ashely team was effortless in delaying our delivery date three times due to home renovation difficulties. The delivery team was outstanding in bringing in nearly a dozen pieces without issues. We highly recommend working with Alicia at the Mayfield Heights location.

There were no high pressure sell tactics but she was always there to help and answer any questions we had. She was also very personable, patient, and understanding. We purchased a Purple Restore Plus with 60 months 0% interest and no money down which wasn't offered at a closer Ashley. We also got some really great discounts on several Purple items (sheets, a mattress protector, two pillows, and a seat cushion.). I definitely recommend this Ashley location and working with Alicia!

My husband and I visited the Mayfield Ashley store in need of a couch. We were greeted by Eris, who was extremely professional, approachable and attentive without hovering or being pushy. We told her our budget and pointed out some couches we were interested in. She invited us to Ashley's VIP event where we could potentially get higher discounts on select couches. We returned during the event and Eris helped us style the couch we chose with a few extra cushions and vases which she threw in as gifts. She was very enthusiastic about helping us find the perfect accessory color scheme for our couch, and we had a fun time styling it in store until we were satisfied! We ended up getting a great deal and couldn't thank her enough. We highly recommend this Ashley location and Eris Eanes!

I told her what I was looking for - something specific (a blue couch) - and she knew exactly which couches came in blue for me to look at. I had some other criteria as well and she talk through with me how we could put it together. She was fantastic to work with. I was quite impressed with her knowledge of the store's inventory, her agility finding the resources on her tablet, her friendly and warm way of relating with you all of which made the process a pleasure. Was greeted by Matt. I explained I need living room and dining room furniture. Explained I didn't know exactly what I was wanting but just need space and time to roam to find what speaks to me. No pressure selling at all. Checked on me time to time to make sure I didn't need anything while shopping. I found a living room and dining room set that I love. He explained how I can do the 24 months deferred payment plan since I need a lot of furniture. It allowed me to keep some of the money I actually had to pay for my furniture. I could put the money towards other things I needed for my home. Applying for the store credit was simple and easy. Got approved. I was able to get my couch set within a week and my dinning room set in 2 weeks. After my couch set was delivered I called Mat and said I would like to change the dinning set. Matt said no problem and said to come on in to change it. Came in Matt directed me to a dinning room set that was to my description I told him over the phone. I didn't like the chairs that was with the table. Matt went and got different chairs brought them up to the table so I actually see what it look like all together. Perfection. Matt made the switch super easy and was very accommodating with me changing my mind on the original one I had picked out. Didn't let me feel bad about the change. Both deliveries was amazing. I received a text 2 days prior to tell me the time slot and day it would be delivered. The day of I got a text 10 minutes prior to arrival. They called to let me know they were here. Came in asked where furniture goes. Brought in furniture. Made sure my door way was protected from bumps or scratches. They put the furniture together for me. They were quick, on time, and very kind to me. The only suggestion I have is for the delivery people should have shoe coverings to protect the carpet/flooring. Other than that I have had a great experience and would refer everyone to them.

Our Ashley sales person (Michael Schmidt) pleasantly greeted us at the front door and he assisted us in finding a living room set that we absolutely love. The quality of the furniture at Ashley was much better than what we had previously seen at another furniture store competitor. Michael was very helpful and friendly. He did not pressure us and was there whenever we had a question. Their store had a 25% sale going on at the time of our visit so we were able to get a great price for the furniture we purchased. We were extremely pleased with our salesman, quality of the furniture we purchased and pricing. I highly recommend checking them out.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley’s furniture with Jodi. I came in about 2 weeks ago just to look around and see if they had a sectional I saw online in store, which they did. The sectional looked even better in person and I fell in love. Jodi greeted me at the door and what I loved most was that he was not the typical salesman that follow you around and harasses you lol! He gave me my space and time which I appreciated so much. I told him that I would be back in 2weeks and I did just that. When I came back Jodi made my purchasing process soooooo easy and smooth. Hands down one of smoothest buying experiences I’ve had. Alicia was the perfect sales person. From the moment we walked in the door her personality shouted friendly, warm and eager to assist us in any way she could. She checked on us often as we made our way through the store but not to the point of hovering. She answered all of our questions and offered needed to know information. I have to say she really knows how to close a deal without pressure, which is truly a skill to have. She was very personable and made us feel at home and like one of the Ashley’s customer family. I put a dining room set, a server, and 2 counter-height stools in my favorites bin in December on "Red Carpet Day." I got the red carpet day price when I purchased the items in March for a move! Purchased a beautiful dresser. I was given a delivery date over a month out. The day came for my delivery and there was radio silence. No communication at all, save yourself some time and money and shop somewhere where they value your time as quickly as the value your money. Called customer service abs text the number listed and just a total disregard for me once they had my money, will be seeking a refund. Poor service, poor follow though. Choose a company that seeks to earn your business as a repeat customer, they treat customers as a one and done transaction.

I came in at a busy time so I had a slight wait which was just fine. It gave me a few minutes to look around. The gentleman I worked with was efficient and professional. We sat down and placed the order I had already built online. Paid and delivery was setup in under an hour. Definitely a good experience.
Do not shop here. There is a no return or exchange Policy, with no exceptions. No one told us that our bed had to be taken down before delivery. We assumed that the delivery service would take the bed apart, which is not farfetched. We were not correctly informed. We spent $5,000.00 cash money. On a bed that has been sitting in boxes for almost a week. Misinformation is very unprofessional. It catches up with you. And over time especially during a recession is what puts a company out of business. To rob people is absolutely no way to conduct business. And God is watching all of it. Blessings.

Awesome Party Time sofa!!! Process was seamless. Great deal. Easy financing. Couldn't have gone smoother. I knew the couch and tables I wanted. No pressure to max out my Ashley card. UPDATE: So this place went above and beyond when I had an issue with a bent hinge on the fold down center console. Even sent a Service technician outside of his regular area. Most places wouldn't do that. Ashley is a big company and they could have swept me under the rug and forgot about it. Instead they really Impressed me to the point where I wish I could I have 10 stars. I am changing my review based on poor customer service. We scheduled our furniture for delivery and they confirmed but never delivered . Received a call at 4pm being told they were an hour behind schedule but furniture would be delivered. Furniture never was delivered and no one contacted us to tell us it wasn’t being delivered. No number to call till next morning and then we were told we would have to wait 4 more days for a new delivery time! Apparently I should have read the delivery reviews before I chose them!

My sales associate Jodi Young was amazing, took the time to listen to my wants and needs and made sure that my work schedule was taken into consideration with delivery times and dates. He will be adding a few other peices of other items to my order and delivery and I can't wait to see what my items look like in their respected space.
So disappointed with this store, and Ashley in general. Purchased a sectional on November 6th. Had it delivered November 24th. When it was delivered, we noticed right away when they brought a section in that it was unwrapped, like it had been used or most likely returned already, while all the other components were wrapped in plastic. Sure enough, once the sectional was put together, the unwrapped component was defective, and did not align with the other parts of the couch, not to mention the stitching on the back of it was screwed up. Took photos and went back to the store to show them (since the employees delivering the furniture are a third party and do not work at Ashley), and they agreed it needed to be replaced, and that someone would be in touch. I received a text from them shortly after that, stating that the replacement was ordered, and we scheduled a 12/16 delivery. About a week before the delivery, they texted me again, and said they had to reschedule, because the replacement was going to be late. They now said I could have it 1/10. I stated this was unacceptable, and then all of a sudden, I could get it on 12/30. Great. Let's do it. Just got another text from them (12/20) stating that there was another delay. Now they needed to push it back again 1/9 (ironically the day before the original date they said a replacement available.) So I'm pretty sure they straight up lied to me when they moved the date up. They are blaming supply chain issues, but come on. They have been using that excuse since Covid. I work in construction, building retail environments. The supply chain is fine, even importing from overseas. They are just late. There has been no offer of any sort of a discount on the defective furniture. Instead, I am just at their mercy until this thing is delivered. Save yourself the aggravation with these guys and go to Wayside. Bought furniture from them and have had zero issues at all. I do want to also add, the salesperson at the store was great. I have no issues with them. Just have issues the way we have been treated since.

Mathew Adler was a great salesman who helped us pick the right mattress with ease. He was very knowledgeable, and helped point us in all of the right directions. He answered all of our questions very thoroughly, and gave us a recommendation in all price points. He even helped us get the best deals possible on sheets, a mattress protector, bed frame and the mattress. He let us try all of the pillows and mattresses, was patient, and was very attentive as soon as we walked through the door. He gave us space to make decisions as well. I was very satisfied with the experience overall. They have a wide selection of many different styles of furniture as well, although we did not find anything to our particular taste and budget in that regard. We can't wait to have our mattress delivered and test it out!

I typically view life as you win some and you lose some. Unfortunately circumstances do happen but, as long as everyone is putting their best effort, no hard feelings. However, the quality of customer service and professionalism that’s been demonstrated by management, Jaime Stokes, of this location and Katrina (who refused to share her last name with me) from the delivery department have been extremely disappointing and disrespectful. 1) Jaime Stokes is only interested in pushing a sale to make numbers for his location so he’ll promise delivery of needed items (in our case split into two separate dates with his confirmation that whole sleeper sofa set would be delivered by 11/7). Once you, as a customer, sign your acknowledgement of 12 percent cancellation fee you are stuck with it regardless of how badly they mess up their commitment to you. 2) Warehouse, Katrina, makes logistical changes without any consideration for client’s needs. Store location points at warehouse and warehouse points at a store location. Client is a monkey in the middle. My sleeper set was split into multiple deliveries with only partial order being delivered on 11/7. Our house is a standard floor plan that was built in 1979 and we selected a smaller set since it was for our basement (which was voiced multiple times during our 2 plus hour visit). Delivery guy said it wouldn’t fit (no physical attempt was made to fit since only partial set was delivered). Our only options include selecting another item that most likely won’t fit based on available parameters or cancellation with 12 percent fee. Liability for misrepresentation of delivery timing (which was a dealbreaker for us at the time of sale), lack of consulting on furniture fit and lack of proper communication/notation with a warehouse team to ensure client’s request timing is considered, become finance responsibility of a client by forfeiting 12 percent from the total price of cancelled items. Management is not interested in discussing or accommodating these circumstances. I am greatly disappointed in the level of customer service that does not care about professional etiquette and client retention. My wife has been to the store 3 times and is still waiting for Jaime Stokes to call her back.

Salesperson uncertain of anything when it came to delivery. I lost time from work waiting for a delivery that never happened. The assistant manager went out of his way to make things right. Their delivery tracking service is horrible

I had been in the store previously, close to closing time unfortunately. After shopping different websites I decided to come back to Ashley. My sales associate, Jodi, was very patient with me, as I had a specific dimension in mind as I live in a smaller space. I also wanted certain specific style of love seat. He knew his merchandise! It was narrowed down to three. We closed the sale and I love my new love seat! I'm 6'2" and had specific needs. The delivery drivers deserve extra credit for getting into a tight loading dock space.

I worked with salesperson Dion Hicks and bought a great deal of furniture from him for around $6k and even got a platinum ultra premium protection for $500. The problem is we bought a mattress and it was really uncomfortable and within the week we asked if we could change it but they rejected it. But the main problem is we had ordered a TV stand and a cocktail table and it was delivered damaged. We called the store and informed them about it and asked them to exchange the items for a non damaged one. But they rejected this, saying it was not their fault nor their duty. I asked for Dion on the phone even when he was at the store, and he didn't come to answer the phone. We even had bought a protection from them which they are not even replacing their damaged goods. This has the worst customer service ever!! I regret buying furniture from this Ashleys Store!! They are cunning and lying to their customers and forcing them to buy protection and not even apply the protection plan !!! This is the worst store throughout Ohio!!

He is beyond knowledgeable on all aspects of home furnishing. I came back two days later to go ahead and purchase a bedroom, dining, and full living room set. I feel very confident in my purchase thanks to his expertise in explaining the best sofa fabrics for having a pet to the differences in build quality and mattress constructions. If I ever need more furniture in the future or assistance with my order I will call him.
We went to Ashley’s to help our daughter outfit her first apartment. We worked with Dion at the Mayfield Heights store. He was fantastic. He spent hours with us as we went back and forth on color, function, and durability on bedroom, living room and dining furniture. He is not a high pressure sales person and we were very relaxed. While we were looking Matt attended to us but was never pushy and gave us our space to make our decision. When it came down to price we were blown away by how low he was able to get the price. This was my 1st time furniture shopping but I must say… My experience exceeded my expectations!!! Overall customer service was fantastic. Our salesman dion was very helpful and thorough and made our in store purchase seamless. Only thing that makes this review not a 5⭐️ is the discrepancy between Ashley’s Online store prices and in store prices. Luckily after leaving the store I needed to double check the size of my couch in my space so I went to the website and saved myself $1600. Beware of higher pricing in store. Bought some of their higher end furniture, it arrived late, and busted. The metal frame on it was bent, the stitching pulled out in areas, the wiring is crossed, 1/3rd of the sofa is unusable. I have been trying to get it resolved for almost 7 weeks now and still nothing. I have spoken to the store menager (kayla?) and regional manager (jack?) And for a week they assured me they were going to speak to people to get this resolved in a timely manner and call or text me right back, and not a single peep from either of them. Hopefully someone gets their act together and steps up and this is resolved soon or I will be getting a lawyer.
We purchased expensive couches that came with a 5 year warranty. It’s been almost 4 years and the couches stopped working , leather is scuffing off. We called to get our warranty to fix the situation. And they blew us off. I don’t recommend this place , seems to me I have been scammed.

I made a purchase of a dining room table back in March 2022. I understand due to Covid a lot of things are backed up. I finally received my delivery today July 16,2022. As the delivery people unloaded my table and chairs they noticed my table was chipped and my chairs where very uneven. With this purchase being over 2,000 I wasn’t happy at all. The response I received was this table could be a loner but I would still pay for it. I wouldn’t be compensated at all but they will charge me for picking the defective table back up, which I urged the delivery people to take back but they didn’t because someone name Rebecca told them not to because everything will be a loner until new stuff come in. Why would you leave chairs that can’t be sat in is beyond me. I was told that I will be charged for them bringing something new to me. Which didn’t make sense because this item came defective and even the holstered material wasn’t put together well. Whoever put these items together definitely did a rush job. One of the drivers said that they just did a replacement on this same table with someone else. Moral of the story is I will not be purchasing anything else from Ashleys furniture. When over dealt with other companies and defective materials I was always taken care of. This table has given me the run around since I purchased it. Things aren’t cheap buys anymore and companies are very careless especially with there customer service. I shouldn’t have to pay for delivery of a replacement or someone to come get these defective products . That makes no sense at all. I waited for someone to call me back three hours and I didn’t hear anything back of course. Definitely won’t be purchasing anything else.
Will never go again bought a dining set charged 199.00 for wash chair they said on 4 th of July sale 137.00 sale price. Online same chair set of 2 for 200.00 sent text told them to match price or cancel. They text back you got it. Called store for new invoice was never done he fixed when I called. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else!!!!!

Best customer service. Mr Dion went above and beyond to help us with our choice. Unlike other store there was never an attempt to upsell or force us to pick something we weren’t interested. I never had a better explanation provided on what should look for when on investing on mattresses. It was not just words he was able to make prove by ourselves ho they worked. And above all he gave us super awesome discount. We walked in just with an intent to look around. But we walked with all we wanted for our new home with great quality, great looking for furniture.
Their service is terrible. We had bought warranty to make sure our beds were fixed in case something bad happened when the saleman suggested and when our bed broke .We talked to our salesman, Dean, We even went into the store but they still haven’t fixed it. We’ve had this issue going on for months now and still waiting. Each person keeps forwarding onto another with the main issue still remaining. Don’t get anything from here.

Bought a bedroom set and have had nothing but issues even with buying. Sales person surprised I could get financing. Issues scheduling delivery since I wouldn't take partial for good reasons; threats to reallocate my stuff to other orders since I would take partial delivery. Issue with the bedroom set that needed to be replaced also had pieces that weren't even installed laying around. They cancelled Tech appointments. The second bed set had even more problems then the first one. Customer service wont actually help thinking were sorry and understand your frustration actually does anything. Waiting on third bed now and they wont have the tech install it rather then the delivery team since they have had problems both times and have told me these beds need a tech. Wants me to wait for the bed to be delivered before even scheduling the tech. When I asked once you get it inhouse and try and schedule delivery can we schedule the tech then the delivery around the tech. Just no. So will have to wait with a disassembled bed for 4-6 weeks before a tech. Then threated again about reallocating because they cant hold it for those 4-6 weeks but I can. Not even knowing if it is correct. Theres more but out of characters. Worst experience EVER.

They wont give proper details
Ashley has been our "home store". We bought housefulls of furniture in TX and Florida. When we built a home here it was obvious we were going to shop with them again. Our home would be completed on October 1st and went to Ashley in Mayfield on June 5th and spent $8704.62. Our salesman, Dion, was great. When we got our furniture in early October we were missing our bed and one living room chair. The other identical chair was delivered. As of 12/7 we still don't have it. When our bed was delivered the delivery guys said that storage footboard wouldn't fit on the bed. They suggested we get a different footboard. Ashley's technicians came out a couple weeks later and found that one of the rails for the side of the bed was manufactured improperly. After discussions with Dion we thought it would just be easier to order a different model bed that was from the same manufacturer and same line that matched the other bedroom furniture. I can't get confirmation if it has even been ordered. No one took away the furniture that won't work. Everyone left EVERYTHING in the corner of the bedroom. Very inconvenient for us and such an eyesore with all of this furniture in the corner of the bedroom. By the way, the allegedly matching living room chair is to be delivered sometimes in January. We are so very disappointed, to say the least
Ashley furniture has very cheaply made furniture. it looks nice, bbut is a big waste of money, because it will fall apart with in a month.the bed frame is so cheaply made, if u move in it, it will fall apart, been waiting over a year to get a bedframe that isn't damaged before I get to lay in it. They wasted my time from work, 3 different times and the didn't even have all the pieces at my house smh and they do not care, I take time off work, which is my pay loss and they don't care. Kitchen chairs are horrible I'm smaller in size and the chair still fell apart, that's giving u a heads up that it's cheaply made.
A couple months ago we bought a bed and a reclining loveseat and the two people that helped us were Daisy and Sean. They were so knowledgeable and so helpful and so much fun to work with we had the best furniture buying experience ever! They went above and beyond and we were so grateful that they were there and we had them to help us. My husband has a weird sense of humor and whatever he dealt out to them they gave him right back LOL we had a great time!
I wish I could remove the one star that I had to give this store. I just got finished calling multiple Ashley furniture stores in warranty places and Ashley furniture on Mayfield really lied to me. They are all about fast sales and not thinking about their customers or wanting to help. I purchased the extended warranty because I was told if anything happened to my couch it would be replaced. My house caught on fire three weeks ago and Ashley furniture is refusing to help me and the policy that I had and the company The extended warranty through did not want to see or pull up my information for my order that I purchased. When I told him I had a fire the manager told me stop talking now we don’t cover fire and water damage we’re not doing nothing for you. He told me that he did not care what Ashley told me they are only giving me $116 that is a prorated of my warranty for when I purchased my furniture. Ashley furniture initially made me wait a month and a half to receive any furniture from them and I had issues with that in the first place and they would not allow me to cancel my order. I am over Ashley furniture and advise no one to ever purchase with Ashley furniture again. Through the lies and manipulation of the sales people that they hire to the lies of the customer service and down to the ruins of their extended warranty company they go through. I strongly recommend you steer clear of Ashley HomeStore. We bought several pieces from the store and our items came scratched, damaged and the delivery team did not build one item correctly. When I called about repairs, they set me up with a 3rd party repair team who scheduled our repair for 3 months later! When that date finally arrived, the 3rd party repair team never called or showed up - even though I confirmed the appointment earlier in the week. I called the 3rd party delivery team who sent me back to Ashley to create another delivery ticket. When I called Ashley, the customer service reps had no interest in helping at all and asked for proof they did not show and just sent me back to the 3rd party repair team to set up a future repair appointment. When I asked if their service team could do it, I was told "they do not have time and it's not their job" - when they were the ones who built the furniture in the first place!! I then asked to speak to the next level manager, I was told that she was as far as I could go. Save yourself time, money and a headache - shop somewhere else!!!
We have purchased lots of furniture through the years at different stores and companies. Our experience at Ashley with Dion Hicks was perfect. Waited 4 months for a sofa that could not be delivered because it did not fit through the door after two representatives confirmed the measurements and said that it would. There was no customer service, in the end I had just given them a 4 month interest free loan, absolutely nothing was done to make it right. Don't waste your time.

We went in looking for a black wooden platform bed. As we were telling the lady she said there wasn’t a lot of platform. I told her we absolutely did not want a box spring. Unfortunately, We didn’t find anything in the specific color that will match our bedroom set. As we were walking out she said “did you see this METAL frame over here. It will need a box spring but it’s fairly inexpensive” we were not looking for cheap at all and never spoke about pricing? Definitely not going back to an Ashley store again lol

I have bought allot of Furniture from Ashley (other stores) 5 rating for sure. This store I have had nothing but terribly long waits and there was barely a customer in the store. Spent an hour in there just to pay for a picture. Returned the next day to spend another hour on a simple return. Now i have waited 4 weeks for my credit and my CC is due. Spent 1/2 hour on the phone to get some help. Now i am waiting for a call back from them. Lets see how long this takes.

Don't put prices on furniture. Have to tell them you want to buy then they "work out the numbers " for you. I don't find that to be very honest.

The customer service at this store is less than sub-par. We ordered two sectionals, a tempurpedic mattress, and an entire bedroom set from here in February for the Presidents Day Sale. We were initially told that we would receive everything no later than April 25th. We were then given a store credit to use at a later date as part of a promotion they were having. We were told it would "stay on our file for when we were ready to use it". Our mattress and bedroom set was delivered mid-april, so we came back around then and also purchased a kitchen table and 6 chairs. Yet no one could find any documentation of our store credit. And the two men we worked with were no longer employees. (first red flag). They ended up doing some digging and found the credit that was on our file... a few weeks later, well past the April 25th due date, I called the store to see where everything was. They proceeded to tell me that they aren't certain why we were given a specific date and that they are unsure of when anything will be coming in. (second red flag.) They assured me that I would get a phone call whenever pieces or parts show up. Three weeks later, after having not heard anything, I called them again. And what do you know. ONE of our sectionals was in! Hooray! But the other sectional, table, chairs, and pillows were nowhere to be found. From that point on, I called once-twice a week to get some answers. Every single time I called, I was told " I can look into this for you and call you back." but no one would ever call me back (third red flag). I finally had the chance to explain that to a very kind employee who gave me his personal number and held himself accountable for anything moving forward. And three weeks later, when he is on leave, i called the store to check on the status of my furniture and was told that: MY ORDER WAS CANCELLED (fourth, fifth, sixth red flag). And not only was it cancelled, but it was cancelled back in April. SO NOW: not only have we been waiting on our furniture for 6 months, they have another store credit floating around that we were supposed to use to REORDER our cancelled table and chairs. Thus: putting us back in a very long line and still leaving us in an empty house. Someone from Ashley dropped the ball. Our order never should've been cancelled. Someone should've called us back. Someone should've made us aware that we were no longer getting our furniture. And someone should've simply called us back. anyway this is the long winded version of telling you to not bother with this place and just go somewhere else. everywhere has a wait right now but at least other places have better customer service.
The dresser we bought was nice...dovetailed and sturdy. Alot of the dressers were not sturdy or dovetailed. Thus the 4 star rating. Customer service was very good.

NEVER...purchase from this company. Waited 12 weeks for my furniture to come and when it did it was missing a pillow that goes in the actual couch. They gave me $100 off delivery. They then sent the wrong pillow out and said I had to wait for 3 weeks for the correct pillow to be shipped. It's been past 3 weeks and still have not received the correct pillow. They then charged my card 2 times for the same furniture set. Never received the discount for the furniture, terrible attitude, and my couch is missing the whole back pillow and looks silly in my living room.
Very nice staff and the furniture is amazing
Purchased an expensive couch less than 2 years ago from Ashley. Within this time my sectional is broken in 3 places. Since it is over a year they unfortunately couldn’t replace it, however they sent out a tech to fix it. After it took four months for them to assess the situation, we were told they needed to order parts. Received a phone call yesterday saying said parts were in but it was going to cost $100 an hour to repair, and it was at minimum a 4 hour job. After multiple phone calls to see if we could rectify the situation in anyway they flat out refused and told me that there was nothing they could do. I refuse to believe that a $2000 couch should last less than two years. So very disappointed in Ashley and their customer service.

I just don’t leave negative reviews unless it’s an absolute terrible experience because I myself don’t like negative reviews on my own business because people can be absolutely petty. We bought our Entire home at this store with a promise of worse case scenario, jumping off a bridge, the furniture would arrive with in 8-12 weeks. I was adamant about them giving me a legitimate time frame due to the fact we had no furniture at all. We are now 10 months into the 8-12 weeks. Nearly every piece of furniture arrived damaged. Things were returned so many times and returned damaged again that we got defeated and just excepted the least damaged products just to end this absolutely horrible experience. We still don’t have 25% of what we ordered. I Received a shipment today after asking 3 different workers on 3 different phone calls, if the dining table was on the truck and getting delivered. All said yes, 100%, the table will be delivered. My mind was absolutely blown that It wasn’t on the truck. You can’t even call and get the store, it automatically forwards to the shipping center. All the employees we worked with are no longer employed at this store. Months before I bought from this store a co worker told me not to shop here. I should have taken his advice. I hope I can save at least one person from making a decision of not shopping here and avoiding a nightmare. I’m astounded that these people are not out of business. Great service, Dion was the best. Very informative and His name is easy to remember and his wonderful personality! My husband I were interested in the Leather love seat and Dion was very pleased to answer every question. I don't normally leave comments, this one is well deserved! The Staff at Ashley Home Store in Mayfield Hts are terrific !! Very helpful and the store is decorated gorgeous -so it is easy to look at a variety of furniture!!! Also, their accessories are really nice too!! I highly recommend shopping at this store!!

My husband and I (his name shows on google with our mutual email address) came in to look at couches, I specifically told the salesman that I am not buying any brown furniture since the couches will be going into an already warmly colored room that needs brightening up. The guy looks at my husband and tells him “I’m going to show you the most comfortable couch you’ve ever sat in” and proceeds to show us a brown set. Is this guy serious? We’re buying local from Cleveland Furniture company in Parma now, they customize and listen to both spouses!

Very poor customer service. My husband, sis n-law and mother-n-law and myself visited this store today. My sis was interested in a set of candle holders that were on a top display shelf, she was told that there was no worker in the store that could get the merchandise down off the shelf. We walked around browsing and saw the same candle holders on one of the dinette tables..when we let the sales rep know he shouts very rudely are you going to buy them.. he then tells another sales rep are you going to ring her up because I'm not going to, same guy. If your purchasing something for $125 or something for $12500 should not matter, customer service should be the same..polite and respectful, sale lost. My husband and I have purchased a few pieces of furniture from Ashley, never had an experience like this.

They are very unethical they tell you what you hear just to get you to buy furniture. They lie about delivery times and try to compensate with Ashley Bucks in which you only use.in that location with no other deals or specials. Take your money elsewhere! They are very stereotypical towards minorities. These people are crooks!
Great Customer service and will make furniture affordable
This has been by far the worst experience I ever had with furniture and delivery! They have delivered to me 5 times and they never bring the right items! Now they will be out a 6th time and who knows if it will be right! This has been going on since may 2020!! The customer service all says it is the right thing being delivered and say they have checked my order but I guess people say whatever they want to just get rid of you.! I will never use this company again! I have never wrote a review on a company before! That is how strongly I feel about this. Order at your own risk!

Had a pretty good buying experience. They offered extra discounts. However, DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! It’s a waste of money through a 3rd party provider. They don’t cover much of anything. Too will go through hoops to get your money back. Ashley’s customer service need improvement. They don’t follow up when they say they will and sometimes they don’t know what they’re taking about. Shopping in person is better than dealing with the people over the phone.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Ashley. I ordered and paid in full for a dining room set at the end of August. I was told that it would be delivered within 8-12 weeks. I assumed that everything was on track because I had not been contacted and told otherwise. We are now in week 11 and I called the store to check on my delivery. I was told that the set was discontinued back on September 4 and I was never told! After speaking with a team member from the store, I was told that a manager would call me the next day to try to help find a solution. No one ever called! I finally chose to drive to the store myself. Rather than help fix the problem I was given a neverending list of excuses as to why this happened. No solutions were proposed. I was told that there was nothing they could do. The only option given was for me to reselect a new dining room set but would once again have to wait for delivery ... this time 12-16 weeks! How about showing me similar sets, offering discounted price for a new set, or expediting delivery?? All I was offered were excuses. I understand that with COVID there are lots of challenges with delivery that can't be helped. However, this store offers absolutely no customer service. I asked for my money back. I will begin the process all over again with another store. I will never shop at Ashley again. I recommend that you do the same. After reading the response I want to clarify. My order is not delayed due to COVID. I would understand if that was the case. My order was discontinued in September 4th and no one from Ashley reached out to me to allow me to reselect something new. I only found out when I reached out about the delivery 11 weeks after the order was placed.
Bookshelf that I ordered in the Ashley store October had glass shelves which totally did not fit the frame at all. Paid for delivery and set up. Spoke to manager at time of delivery who said she will request a technician to see what could be done. She ordered a new set of shelves . This arrived about ten days later. On November 16th they called to schedule the technician. Said there was a difference in zip code by two digits- 44141 instead of 44143. She said because of the change in zip code the earliest appointment would be Dec 31st! How they got the zip code different I can't understand as the second set of shelves were delivered to the home at the correct zip. I'll never order from Ashley again.

Update nov 2020. Still ongoing issue with Ashley Furniture. Multiple calls and messages left for Paula Duncan regional mgr and store mgr Jimmy with no follow up call or response. Was given a window of time for delivery truck and they did not get to my home until 8pm. Workers damaged furniture and did not notify company. Given the runaround and no response bk from management. Totally unprofessional and they have lost a good customer for good. Goodbye Ashley! *********** Update....Horrible customer service. Requested regional manager Paula Duncan to call me to inform her of my concerns. I was told by customer service and store reps that Paula may or may not call back. I was also told by Jimmy M. the store manager at this location to call him. Totally unprofessional! Customer service is in Ny. You will never speak with management for any concern. Buyers beware!
I will never order anything from this store again. I was told an 8-12 week time frame for my set of furniture (love seat, sofa, & chaise). I ordered this on August 16th and it is now November 11th. I understand there are delays with COVID, but I have reached out on multiple occasions and have been told there is no update for my order and they can’t give me any detail or information on my order. They told me I could get a full refund since they had no estimated date and then when I asked for the refund I was told I should give them until the 20th as they may have tentative dates. I said I would still prefer my refund because I wanted to go buy a set from somewhere I could take same day and the response was “ I would suggest find a place that you can do that at first. Because furniture overall right now in general is all on delayed.” I feel like I’m being scammed as I spent over $1k and it’s been over the maximum 12 weeks, but nobody can give me any information, support line is not helpful, and their website shows what I ordered is out of stock.
Great and friendly service
Just walked into this location. Not a single person greeted me and mother. When asked the operational manager Mike for assistance he said he would have someone to come over. No one came. The 2 guys at the desk never bothered to say hello. Another salesman walked right past and didn’t say hello. We decided to leave. As I was leaving I asked Mike his name it appeared he was helping someone that came in the store after we did. At the time the store is was not busy. Not sure what the lack of professionalism and friendliness was about but I would not recommend visiting this location.
Do not buy furniture here! The entire process has been a complete nightmare. First, the delivery team left holes in our walls and our furniture. There were HOLES in the drawers in our bedroom set drawers. They tried to HIDE it and never told us that these incidents occurred. Do not trust this company! They also didn’t put our bed together correctly. Every time we sit or lay on the bed, the drawers pop out. Very cheap quality furniture. I’ve bought nicer furniture at Big Lots for half the price. Since the bed was not assembled properly, the one side completely broke and sank in. We ordered a new part that’s been sitting in our room for over a month because their service company is very incompetent. I work 10 minutes from home and requested that they please call 30 min before they arrive. This is the second time that they never called and left without a call or anything. So, I still have the part in our room. I tried to call the customer service and they weren’t open to assist and we were never given a number to call. I cannot stress enough now terrible their customer service has been and how rude they are to customers once they get their money. It’s just awful. My fiancé and I wanted nice furniture for a new home and Ashley Furniture has made this experience very frustrating and we feel like we paid for furniture that is cheaper than what you’d buy at a Wal Mart or less. Very disappointed and we are still going through it over a year later with the issues and bad service. Do not buy furniture here! I highly recommend anywhere else.
If I could give this negative stars, I would. The worst customer service - wouldn’t update me on my order, would say they would call me back and never did. Continued to promise delivery dates they couldn’t live up to. Lying left and right. I couldn’t be happier to say that I’ve cancelled my order with them and will NEVER shop there again. My experience with Ashley could not have gone worse. We purchased a bedroom set, dining set and mattress set. Four deliveries later, we still do not have everything we ordered. We have had a dining room table delivered 4 times and each time each side of the table was completely different from the other. Grain was completely different on each side. Even deliverymen could not believe what they were seeing 4 DIFFERENT TIMES. Strange that the floor model in Mayfield Hts and Mentor were both perfect. In addition, bedroom set took 3 times to get it right with chips, scratches and marks on each piece. Finally they got that right on trip three, although the deliverymen had to touch up some pieces with a marker. We are still waiting on a cocktail table and end table and the dining table replacement. One of the dining chairs had a huge black mark on it so we sent it back. The next delivery they sent the exact same chair. We are beyond frustrated as this has been going on since the beginning of June. We have told them please inspect furniture before delivering it. Obviously this is not happening. We have now had 4 different days ruined waiting for them to deliver furniture that went right back into the truck. We are not happy at all to say the least. Not sure at this point how they can make this right.

The only desks they have are very large. Their online store is better than this particular brick and mortar. Nice greeter.

Came in looking for a recliner that my son could use, nothing too expensive. Saw friends and family ad so thought it would be the perfect time. Found a recliner but it was discontinued so I wasn't surprised when told I couldn't get the 30% off discount. I did, however, have store credit that I wanted to use towards my purchase. The associate helping me was having trouble figuring out how to apply the credit, so he asked another "gentleman" who proceeded to tell me to read the back of my card, that I couldn't use it on already discounted merchandise. I informed him that the back of my card did not say anything about that. He then pulled out a card from his drawer showing me that it does say that? Okay, not the card I brought in so I don't really see what his point was. He was very rude about it, not in any way apologetic. Because of this, I refused to even buy the chair because I wasn't about to give him any business. I will find something to buy that's not on sale at the Mentor location to use up my credit, but then I will never shop at another Ashley HomeStore again. But I'm sure they won't care, they obviously do enough business to where they can treat their customers like garbage. I do, however, feel bad for my sales guy who lost out on a sale due to the actions of someone else.

I understand that COVID has made things more difficult to manufacture but what I don’t understand is why I received a call the same week of my delivery to hear about this. I work for a manufacturing company and know that things can sometimes go a little longer than planned but how do you not know you don’t have the materials available to MAKE the furniture until a few days before delivery?! That same day, I went into Ashley HomeStore on Mayfield Rd. and explained the situation.. I was given the option of ordering something else that may come sooner, seeing that I just moved and have had no where to sit for months.... The manager Heather was super nice and helpful and offered me ~40-45% off of a different sectional and waived the delivery fee. Seeing that I was inlove with my original selection, I let her know I needed time to make a decision... THANK GOD I did because that gave me time to look at their website and see that the retail prices in store are almost DOUBLE their website prices! I went in today to see if they could match it and they said that if they do, no discount will be applied... (retail price w/ discount = online price w/o discount). I don’t understand the purpose of offering a discounted price for my trouble if the online price without the discount is the same! I have been trying to get my money back for my original order with no luck! In store, I was told to call the main customer service line since a refund in store would result in a 12% restocking fee.. FOR WHAT??? The sectional hasn’t even been manufactured yet! The materials for it are not even in! I called customer service and they said they couldn’t answer any of my questions and to call the store for a refund... after the store told me to call customer service???.. Walk in the store and ask about bed frames and pedestals. Was in form all they sell is sets with the head and foot board with a frame. But they have metal frames for $1200.00 The guy never left the counter. I guess the stores don't sale what's online.

Hands down the worst shopping experience I've had. Terrible!! I'm a returning customer and I have been shopping at Ahsley's for over 10 years. Today, I decided to take a visit and purchased a bedroom set for my mother. When I came back home and looked at the ASHLEY WEBSITE online and found out there is a huge difference in online price compared to store price and I realized that I had been misled, charged twice. I did some quick math and determined that they overcharged me by 799 dollars. I immediately went back to the Ashley Furniture store (Mayfeild Showroom, 1401 Golden Gate Blvd, MayfieldHeights OH 44124) and told them I had been misled, and to cancel the order and return my 600$ gift card. Hands down the worst shopping experience I've had. Terrible!! I'm a returning customer and I have been shopping at Ahsley's for over 10 years. Today, I decided to take a visit and purchased a bedroom set for my mother. When I came back home and looked at the ASHLEY WEBSITE online and found out there is a huge difference in online price compared to store price and I realized that I had been misled, charged twice. I did some quick math and determined that they overcharged me by 799 dollars. I immediately went back to the Ashley Furniture store (Mayfeild Showroom, 1401 Golden Gate Blvd, MayfieldHeights OH 44124) and told them I had been misled, and to cancel the order and return my 600$ gift card. If I could give them zero stars I would. I purchased two bedroom sets for my daughters in February 2020. It is now June 2020 and I have been delayed on delivery 3 times. Today I get the call that it is still delayed and next appt time is July and they can’t guarantee that they will hold that date either. They keep using the excuse that it’s the manufacturers fault and delay....at some point that excuse gets old especially on the 4th call. I spent almost $4,000 on furniture that they can’t fulfill... there is a reason they are a discount furniture store and this service proves it. Hands down worst shopping experience I’ve had.

These people are scammers!!! They let you finance and place the order but give you delivery dates and they don’t communicate with you if it’ll be late. Then they called my husband to tell him they didn’t have it and they weren’t going to deliver it!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I will NOT be coming here anymore to make any purchases and I will be telling my friends and family about my experience with these people!!!!
I had purchased two chairs online but got a mirror instead. Now been on hold for over a hour trying to send this back and get my money back. Service number soo bad i will never purchase anything from here again i will repeat im done with this company and its my first time buying from here. Too bad covid 19 destroyed my experience so im not dealing with bad customer service any more and i need my money back. I sent about 5 emails no text back. The customer service at Ashley is exceptional !!! Because of Enrique we feel our time & money was well spent. If you want high pressure & big prices go somewhere else because you won’t find that here.
Tons of options, super clean, and friendly. Walking in the store I was instantly greeted and was free to walk around. I was helped by an employee but never felt hounded or "helicoptered" like you do at some places. When I Needed help they answered every question I had and had wonderful suggestions on how to style my Room. When it came time to check out I was very surprised with the payment options they had, it made it a very easy choice for me to go with Ashley.
Customer Service at this store was very excellent. I was a little bit skeptical about Ashley because I have heard misleading reviews. I decided to take a visit and was impressed with their service and effectiveness. More specifically, I was helped by Dasha who was very knowledgable about the different pieces that I was interested in. I plan on doing a lot more business with Ashley simply because of the interaction I had with her excellent service.

Worst customer service and delivery I've ever experienced!!!! I cannot Express how upset I am. We spent over 5000 on furniture for our new apartment. This was 2 months ago. In the store we were told the delivery is between 3 to 5 weeks but usually sooner. We told the lady our move in date and she guaranteed us that we would have our furniture by then as it was 4 weeks later so we went ahead with the purchase. First they called us and scheduled the delivery for the date we were told 2 days before said date they called and said the furniture was still in production we would have to wait another month. I told them no way we are moving into an empty apartment with a 2 yr old we need our furniture so I said I would cancel it unless they could get it to us sooner so they said they that they could have to us within the week. this is after I was told by 3 different reps that there is no possible way they could get it to us by sooner then a month because the furniture is not made yet lie. so we scheduled the delivery and when they finally came on Thursday they wouldn't bring the furniture up through the apartment complex that late in the eveningeven though that is when they scheduled it for. so they left and said they would come back first thing in the morning and deliver it then. when I called the next day to see what was happening they said we we should never have been told that because they were not gonna come back sooner then a week and so they said they could come in a week. meanwhile they called the day of delivery and said my 2 yr olds matress will be late and the soonest they can get it to us is Saturday so here we are almost midnight Saturday night and no word from them nor a mattress. now we have no furniture and wont for another week that is if they dont cancel again. which if they do I will be getting my money back and my furniture elsewhere. I do not have much hope that the furniture will come undamaged . we got scammed and lied to after paying an absolute fortune to these people. it's so not right. and to top it all off after the 20 times I've had to call and be put on hold they are beyond rude and do not treat you like a fellow human being. I would not buy from this place ever again.

Please do yourself a favor and do not buy furniture from Ashley Home Store. I purchased a bedroom set, a sofa and a love seat in July and it was delivered in august. The dresser came with uneven drawers. They sent a tech out to fix it but it could not be fixed because the drawers themselves were cut wrong. I was told a new dresser would be sent and everything would be fine with this new one. They have sent me 3 dressers and they all have this problem. So they said they'll send out just new drawers... they are the wrong ones. Now I have to wait for new drawers to be sent in their place and schedule a tech to come install them. Also the knobs keep falling off. I can not have that happening I'm my 2 year old daughters room. She still puts stuff in her mouth. What if she chokes?! Now on to the sofas. They keep ripping at the seams. The cushions are flattening as are the throw pillows. Ashley home store has sent me replacement cushions but they also keep ripping and flattening. I took pictures of all the cushions and pillows and sent them to Ashley home store and was told this is "normal wear and tear". Are you kidding me?! It has only been 7 months. Actually less because the cushions were last replaced in December. The dust cover on the loveseat is also detaching from the underneath of the couch. I was sent a new dust cover and had to schedule for the tech to come staple it back onto the couch. I asked if they could just come pick up all of the furniture and refund me because I am SO UNHAPPY. I recently stopped by this Ashley Location for a new kitchen table set and tv stand. Faith was incredibly helpful in helping me pick out the perfect pieces for my home. She didn’t play any games with pricing, everything was presented in a straight forward manner. It was important that the furniture was delivered before Christmas and delivery was exactly as promised. Can’t say enough good things about the experience. My only complaint was it looked like the delivery crew put a scratch on the table as they were installing it, but it was too small to bother with a replacement. Definitely would recommend both the quality of the furniture and the professional manner in which Faith treated us.

We were told that the living room furniture that we ordered would be delivered in time for thanksgiving but they couldn’t guarantee, I could understand that. Wait a minute I waisted an entire day waiting for something that wasn’t even built yet. Then a delivery was set.. Another day waiting. Then only half the order.. a week after we received half the order we found a broken price in the automin (not sure how to spell) they did send out a new piece which I had to fix. At this point I’m waiting for a sofa which I have been given 3 different dates but nothing unless I call. I wish that I would have read other reviews because I never would’ve bought anything from them. Very poor customer service. There are so many places to buy furniture that if I had only known... We are spending a lot of money with this company. I can tell you when it comes time to pay they won’t deal with late payment... my only warning STAY AWAY!!!!!! Here we are a year later this fabric does nothing but treat little balls all over it. I called customer service and you know what they told me? Get a shaver and shave my couch it’s brand new. At this point it is a year old but what a giant piece of junk

Still waiting on a couch that was ordered in November. They postponed delivery twice. Before that we received two defective products. When I ask about the status of the couch I'm told everything is made to order to make sure it comes without any defects. Obviously that's not the truth. Very unprofessional service. Won't be going there again.
I am giving 1 star because there is no lower rating. My wife ordered a couch 3 1\2 weeks ago. Called today to see where it was and they said it would be delivered in 3 weeks. Really? 2 months for a 2 week delivery. So when we call to cancel we were put on hold then diverted to another number, then put on hold again. Then we were told to call back in 24 hours to make sure that they did their job. I'm pretty sure our order was not put in untilI I called 3 1/2 weeks later. Thus, the new 3 week delivery date. Bad service. Also, I don't like being lied to. They can look up your acct. from your phone number, (which did not come up, so I gave purchase order number) but when you give an order number they have to get a manager to pull it up? Phone person went to get help on what lie to tell me. And it was...........warehouse is waiting on materials. It's a couch, not African diamonds. Bad bad bad bad bad service.

Thanks to Daisy for the awesome customer service upon entering into show room....you showed us several choices of the styles & colors of earth-tones which we preferred. Downside was the original delivery date pushed back TWICE & wrong items delivered on Final delivery. The New York corporate office Team was able to make the experience abit better...thanks to them we may very well shop at Ashleys Furniture in the near future.

Absolutely horrible delivery service and customer service. Ordered a couch and other pieces over two months ago and we still have not received anything. We were told the furniture would be delivered today, but then it wasn't. After asking why it wasn't delivered we were told they have nothing to do with the scheduling of delivery and we were sent a text message about the delay (great customer service). We are purchasing your product, so you have everything to do with it. I will never even consider purchasing from Ashley in the future. Now we have absolutely no furniture for our guests to use during Thanksgiving. Not even a phone call from our sales rep to apologize, which is unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm adding to this after reading more reviews.... Ashley Furniture should be reported to the better business bureau and shut down. When someone pays for a product they should receive it and not be scammed. Awful people.

We are opening up a new buisness and ordered furniture. They have now rescheduled our delivery 3 times and it’s a month late. When trying to reach anyone to ask why this is happening they keep redirecting us making it nearly impossible to find out why this is happening. I do not recommend.
Do not go here to get anything from here or any of there stores they sell you Defect stuff befor it gets to your home and will not take it back only wants to give you store credit for it and will not take it back

I would recommend coming to this Ashley furniture store and asking for Khalid! I just moved into a new apartment and have been trying to find a couch that was reasonably priced and fit well into the living room. Khalid was very patient with me looking through all the couches and making sure I was happy with my purchase. He's very knowledgeable, polite, and personable. He made sure my delivery came on time and that it fit well into the living space. I cannot thank him enough for him helping me through the process. I definitely will come back here again!

I waited for 2 1/2 months for my sofa, it was delivered today with the wrong power cords, when the store opened I explained to them that I had found the power cords but they were the wrong ones. Now they call my husband saying that I have to wait longer for the power cords. I am not very happy with this store. This is not the first thing they done to us over this sofa. If I didn’t want the sofa so badly after waiting that long for it. I would tell them to come get the sofa and shove it where the sun don’t shine
I was in this store in Labor Day and bought a bed and eight chairs. I had to almost beg for the support of a seller called Sam. I was promised verbally the delivery on Sep 13th, then when I received the order it showed delivery on the 20th. I spent a lot of time tracking this order and would receive a different date every time. Today is Oct 2nd and I have still not received anything. They say my chairs are only available on-line so they can’t ship it. They offered me a refund of $1,087 and suggested that I buy the chairs on-line but the chairs on-line would cost me north of $1,500 now. This is a total scam as they are pretty much suggesting that I pay an extra $500 if I want to receive the same goods I already bought a month ago but they just realized now they can’t ship???? Buyers be aware of this store business mal practices as I can only assume they are malicious. Very unethical and immoral in my opinion. I requested a total refund which will take 7-10 days to make it back into my credit card. Total joke. I am never more stepping into an Ashley store. Managers, corporate relations, sellers, all understand my frustration but refuse to do the right thing. The chairs are there available at the web site but they refuse to ship for the price they sold it to me. Do business with these people at your own risk. I have written proof of all I am stating and will be happy to provide if asked. I asked several times to speak with the general manager but no one would connect me with her. If you owner decide to write a reply please do not waste your time to just say you apologize and understand my frustration. My husband and I recently visited this location as we were looking for bunkbeds for our grandchildren. Will Calhoun helped us out tremendously! He was knowledgeable and very patient with us throughout the entire process. I have to say the the Customer Service and attention to detail to make sure customers are happy are well worth a return visit. Upon delivery and set up, I discovered that there was an issue with the ladder to the bunk bed. I called Will C. immediately and he got the process started to correct the issue. 4 stars only for Marc Moody and the quality of the couches. Delivery was very disappointing. This is my first time shopping at this company. Marc was an absolute hero. The whole process went very smoothly. The time after that, it went south. Delivery was a whole month wait. Delivery guys ripped my couch in two places. Kitchen table is wobbly. Called customer service and they're sending someone to fix the couch and table. I will wait until the person comes to fix them then see if this review goes to 5 or 1 star. Last words, if you need anything go to Marc. The man is passionate about his job.
I ordered a bedroom set in mid August with a delivery date of September 10. That was pushed back to the 25th. Customer service then called to reschedule a third time for mid October. Now, there is a note in my file that says November. Apparently, the manufacturer does not even have the building materials to make the furniture I ordered. I was very excited to find this bedroom set but it doesn't do any good if i can't get it. Customer service has been useless. I have been an customer for years but this last experience has ruined it for me. I am cancelling my order and shopping elsewhere. Edit:. The company responded to this review and asked me to reach out to their Logistical Team. However, the email address they provided is incorrect. SMH.
Worst customer service ever. In store staff is rude. Have fun trying to contact someone about your warranty that they basically force you to purchase. They picked my couch up for repair a month ago, and returned it to me broken twice! Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. This company is a f-ing joke!

When it comes to the Mayfield Ashley Homestore, I have nothing negative to report. My sales associate, Lisa was phenomenal. She and her manager assisted me getting financed and picking out the best furniture for my New Apartment. Unfortunately, as it comes to delivery and corporate I am NOT PLEASED IN ONE BIT!!!! I placed my order, early July 2019 shortly after approval of my New Apartment, I scheduled my delivery for September 3rd, 2019, to get a call on August 27th, 2019 reporting I would not be getting my furniture as scheduled. On Friday, August 30th, 2019 I was informed that only the bedroom suite and dining room was delayed and my living room suite would be delivered as scheduled, for September 3rd, 2019. Later that day after getting confirmation, I received another call that the entire set was not ready and only the Sofa would arrive on September 3rd, 2019 between 1:15pm-4:15pm. September 3rd, 2019 comes and the clock strikes 4ish, nothing from Ashley Furniture....so I gave them a call to be informed by Natalie that my shipment didn't make the truck, which just made me more frustrated, as NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME!!!!. Natalie mentioned she was going to be off within the next 10 minutes and that she was going to look into the matter further or have another staff member follow up with me. In about 15-20 min I did receive a call back from Natalie, then reporting that my furniture was still in production. My irritation, continued to build and I asked for a callback from a Supervisor. Supervisor, Becca did call back, however her attitude was the WORSE, her customer service was HORRIBLE!!! She proceeded to inform me that my furniture was out of STOCK...OUT OF STOCK I SAY...So much runaround. She then stated that deliveries are an estimate and not a guarantee, she was not compassionate in the least bit. As a professional who thrives on Customer Services I was highly dissatisfied. I don't care bout being credited, just to provide them with more business, I WANT MY FURNITURE, that I ordered 2 and1/2 months ago. So now I call daily to get my own personal updates, as of today, September 4th, 2019 my bedroom and is still scheduled for the 11th and NOW my Living Room scheduled to deliver on September 18th, 2019. So instead of enjoying my new furniture in my new apartment, I still wait with empty promises. If I get one more delay and NO FURNITURE delivered to my home on September 11th, 2019 I am cancelling my entire order and will be taking my hard earned money to an establishment that values customer service and can get my furniture delivered. I now have to rush and adjust to the mercy of Ashley Furniture and take more time off of work, oh and let me mention, Becca from corporate repeated on numerous occasions through the call, that " "we" (Ashely Furniture) is not asking "you" (Me, a paying customer) to take off of work or alter planned time to travel. I strongly advise that Becca gets additional skills on customer service. I am sure if Becca has paid her money to have furniture delivered, she would want her furniture and not have to make accommodations at such last minute. I am not happy with Corporate of Ashley Furniture or their delivery methods. HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!

Michelle, our sales rep was great. She was very helpful throughout the entire time in store, and she deserves 5 stars. The customer service, however, is another story. We placed our order June 23rd. We were told the ottoman was delayed and wouldn’t be delivered until August 17th. We said that was fine as long as the couch came on time. August 16th I called the store as I had heard nothing regarding our delivery. The person I talked to said that it was delayed until the 22nd. Meanwhile, I was looking directly at the paperwork while on the phone, and it clearly states it’s August 17th. Of course, not knowing that the ottoman had been further delayed due to a complete lack of communication on their behalf, I had already scheduled an appt for August 22nd, and now will not be around for delivery this day. After waiting for 2 entire months for this ottoman to come in, it is now further delayed due to their negligence in not contacting me and letting me know of the further delay. No one I talked to in customer service at this point was any bit of help. All they could offer was “I’m sorry but it’s really the 22nd.” All this being said, my most recent phone call to this stores customer service (about 10 min ago) went well and the man I talked to was helpful in rescheduling the delivery; however, this does not remedy the delay or earlier poor customer service. Again, on the bright side, Michelle was great to work with and extremely pleasant. However, I would not order from Ashley again because of their sub-par customer service.
Briana is the biggest sweetheart, most helpful & has gone way above & beyond her pay grade. (See precious review.) Without her, this whole Ashley experience would be excruciating. She has listened to ever single one of my complaints, and empathized with the lack of care that was provided. She’s cleaned up the messes of everyone & has only tried to make things right. She has been to my place to personally drop off items, given me her personal cell, & literally held my hand throughout most of the year. She has answered my questions, fast tracked things, made the impossible that client relations said couldn’t happen, happen & kept a smile on her face & kindness towards me. She has never once disregarded my issues, put me down or forgotten about me. She probably deals with issues on a daily basis & still manages to keep her cool & professionalism. I have a lot of respect for her. I have a lot of only great things to say about her & she’s the reason why I haven’t wanted to chop my head off. She means well, does extradorinarily well & deserves a promotion for her attentiveness to detail, her good her & her exceptional client service. She treats me like a friend, not a customer and definitely not a number. She gets the job done, doesn’t make excuses & empathizes. There’s nobody I trust at Ashley but her. If you ever need anything, Briana is the go to person. For a fact I know she will try her hardest to make your experience & transaction smooth, fair and easy. Briana you’re the best and you deserve a promotion or recognition of some sort. You’re smart, kind, helpful & overall an example of exceptional client care. Thanks Briana for EVERYTHING. Continue to stay awesome & get a vacation more often. I appreciate all you’ve done. ☺️

Kathy Hess doesn't recommend Ashley HomeStore 8 mins · I have been going back and forth with Ashley furniture about a $1800.00 Beautyrest mattress that I paid cash for that is damaged. I have had 3 different mattresses delivered only to learn that they always get damaged from delivery. The manager said that they have never had this problem and delivery said that rarely do they deliver a beautyrest mattress like mine that does not warp under the top cover. I own my own business and would never lie to my clients nor would I sell defective product knowingly. I am very disappointed and will never recommend Ashley furniture to friends, family or my own customers

I will edit my review depending on the outcome of my furniture delivery. My initial impression though is that I was able to find what I wanted rather easily. My first ever visit there, Sam helped point me to some options based on what I was looking for. From there he stepped away at my request and didn't stalk me or pressure me like certain other furniture stores. I didn't buy anything during my first visit but after reading some reviews on the 2 pieces I was interested in, I went back to look at the 1 I had in mind. Sam was there again this time so I called him over and asked about a web price compared to the store price. He said they'd honor the web price and put together some numbers for me. I asked if they could throw in the $40 blanket they had with the piece, which just happened to be the only one they had left, and he did that for me. I also got a $75 gift card out of it too and the 5 year protection on my investment. All of this added up to below the store price for the 5 piece set. I'm pretty happy about my purchase decision and now I just await delivery which will come early August 2019. Sam said the pieces will be shipped separately possibly to honor the most immediately available shipping date.

Tried repeatedly to get them to properly fix or replace a recliner that does not have enough material in the seat to keep you from bottoming out. They replaced the material with less cushioning than was in the original which was insignificant . Third party service substandard!!! Buyer beware.

Our experience at this Ashley HomeStore was nothing less than wonderful! What made our trip so great was our sales associate Daisy. She went above and beyond to help us pick out what we needed. My husband and I were looking to furnish our bedroom and living room and Daisy took the time to show us every set they had to offer and helped us narrow it down and make decisions. We were looking at pieces of furniture from multiple stores and ended up buying everything from Ashley mostly because of her (we also LOVED the furniture)! One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had! Would highly recommend this location and all their friendly staff! Be sure to ask for Daisy when you go!

Chenise was so patient with me coming in multiple times with many questions and doing her best to alleviate all my concerns. Lisa was also outstanding in helping me make my final decisions and stayed late as we were completing sale and picking out accesories. The managers also helped eventhough it was so late gather all instock items putting them in my car delicately. When one item was broken they looked hard to find a piece that would make it work. I went Ashley Home Store, Mayfield Heights location this past Friday. I went there to purchase a bedroom set I&'d saw online but ended up purchasing an even better one while in the store. Dasha, a Manager there went above & beyond in answering my questions on the furniture I wanted, as well as showing me around the store. She was exceptionally courteous, professional & welcoming! Thank you so much Dasha!! She deserves some sort of concession & or accolade for her service provided. I&'m looking forward to my new bed to be delivered... I definitely recommend Ashley Homestore in Mayfield and we had the pleasure of working with Chanise! After a month of searching for the right furniture store for us (service/style/function/price/quality), we couldn't be happier we got connected with Chanise. At other stores I would be dodging the sales staff because they were high pressure and not very knowledgeable, but at Ashley's I was able to lean on Chanise as my personal consultant who turned my living room vision into life! She answered every question and knew exactly where in the store to find the pieces I was envisioning. The best part was her energetic and customer centric personality. From the moment Chanise greeted us she listened to what we have been trying to find and didn't work off her own agenda. Thank you for making what is usually an overwhelming experience, not only stress free, but I am 100% satisfied with our decisions (no buyers remorse or waivering like I usually have after a purchase). I ordered a king sized bed from Ashley Homestore. The bed was scheduled to be delivered a day 2 weeks ago. No one called to confirm delivery, however I took time off of work assuming they would definitely contact me if they weren’t coming. I called them and they explained the bed wasn’t here yet and they would call me when it arrived. So it was rescheduled for today. Supposedly they were bringing me a $50 gift card as well. I took off of work AGAIN, the truck arrived today. The driver checked the truck in front of my house only to let me know that the headboard was broken. Customer service called about 30 minutes ago letting me know they would inspect the next bed for damages. Driver showed up with no gift card and the manager advised me there was nothing they could do to compensate me for my time. First time doing business with them and their customer service as well as seemingly their product are leaving a lot to be desired. Not impressed AT ALL to date. Hopefully the next bed doesn’t disentegrate in the truck or within the first few weeks of use. Highly disappointed customer in Mayfield Hts. Fred Burton

It is with great frustration that I can not recommend Ashley. Our sales person, Chanice, was phenomenal. It was post sale when things went sideways. I found that the pieces I purchased were advertised for cheaper on the Ashley website ($332 less) and far cheaper on other websites ($760 less). After seeing their “price match guarantee” posted in store I contacted the store and requested to speak with the manager. I was told by William that it shouldn’t be a problem to get the price match as they do it in store all of the time and a manager would call me back to confirm. Someone contacted my husband and he referred them to me. Chanice called me and explained the actual policy... which meant they would price match everything to the Ashley website prices including an inflated delivery cost ($399 vs $199). In my opinion, having a price match guarantee policy should include their own company website despite franchise ownership. Seeing the pieces I bought deeply discounted on other reputable websites is also a major frustration. Ultimately, I will not be able to confidently buy from this store again.

ON FEBRUARY 27, 2019, MY WIFE AND I WENT TO THE VIP SALE AT THE MAYFIELD, OHIO STORE AND WE WERE ASSISTED BY WILLIAM CALHOUN. HE WAS PERSONABLE, FRIENDLY AND CORDIAL. WE WERE LOOKING FOR A SPLIT KING ADJUSTABLE BED. WILLIAM SHOWED US THE MANY MATTRESSES AS WELL AS THE ADJUSTABLE BASE AND EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCES IN THE MATTRESSES. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED WITH WILLIAMS PROFESSIONALISM AND THE PRICE THAT WE PURCHASED THE SPLIT KING WITH THE ADJUSTABLE BASE.
My sales associate was AMAZING!! Before I went to Ashley Homestore I went to several other stores. Once I got to Ashley Homestore I was tired and already had my mind made up that they didn't have what I was looking for then came William. William was caring and very helpful to me. I explained the look I was going for and style I wanted for my space. He walked me through the store and even helped me look online at their furniture kiosk, after an hour I found my pieces and made the purchase. Juan and Jodi Agapito did a great thing when they referred me to him!!!
No one greeded me when I walked. The employees just looked at me and kept walking. When I called into the store the lady I spoke to was able to find my account but in the store they couldn't find my account. Not very friendly at all. Black people have money too I'm just saying.

STAY AWAY! Two friends purchased furniture from this location, both were delayed due to damaged or missing parts. No one in the store even cared to follow up and in one case responded for customer to email contact info. My friend did and yet the response was a voicemail asking to call a toll free number where NO one knew the issue. Many places to buy furniture and this is not the place.

Ashley Homestore did a great job helping me with my new bedroom furniture! Larry was very helpful and accommodating to make sure that I got the best deal possible. He even threw in a free horse statue for me as well as a thank you! I also reached out to Larry several times after my purchase with questions regarding delivery and other items in the store and he responded to all my e-mails and calls immediately!
