I had a horribly difficult time buying a set of sheets here today. The sales associate Richie was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional throughout our experience - especially considering that I was only buying a set of sheets that I can walk out with easily (not a big piece of furniture that requires shipping for instance). When I started checking out, I noticed that he was watching a soccer game on the company IPad, and he was consistently giving attitude to me & my dad while we were waiting. We stood for 20 minutes at least while watching him get increasingly frustrated with the fact that something in the system wasn’t working, and although multiple other associates walked by to check on him (including the manager), no one helped us until Nicole stepped in to take over (thank you to Nicole - she was the only good part of this). This was an utterly horrible shopping experience and I would highly discourage shopping here if this is the treatment we received for buying something as simple as an overpriced set of sheets.

Very friendly sales lady I knew what I wanted when I went in. She showed it right to me, spoke to me about all the different settings, and it was purchased within twenty minutes.
No one will help! I've contacted the claims dept they are not helping with my ripped couch. Extended warranty Is a JOKE. waste of money and im supposed to pay out of pocket for a ripped pillow, now all the stuffing is dumping into the couch. Ashley online stopped responding after they asked what the problem is. Every piece of furniture we've gotten from Ashley crumbled and turns to garbage after a couple of years. We have a recliner from Levin that was bought 7 years ago and is going strong. My couch is 2 years old and broken. Lost a customer, have fun selling your overpriced junk to other people. Now we're out $3,000 and need to pay more money to get a new one. Going to Levin from now on. Thanks Ashley

The mentor Ashley store it's always a pleasant experience. The associates don't follow you around like lost puppy dogs, they're patient and kind, and give you enough time to look before they check in to see if there's anything you need. Any question I've asked about material, style, etc. was answered in a timely and efficient way. The little snacks and bottles of water are a nice plus 😊 thank you Josh, I'll see you soon!

I recently visited Ashley furniture in Mentor looking for a living room chair. The first thing that caught My eye was how bright and attractively the store was arranged. Great attention was given to placement of furniture, groups, and color coordination. It was very pleasing. Secondly, we were greeted by one of the sales staff, Tammy. I told her, what I was looking for and, as usual, she offered to show me what was available in the store. I know this is common practice and I for one actually appreciate it, but Tammy took it to the next level In my opinion because she was very warm and friendly and knowledgeable. Her help made a big difference. And let me just say, that I learned that she had only been working at the store for a few days.. Yet, she knew that store and its layout as if she were a veteran. My daughter was with me on the shopping expedition And we both agree that it was a very positive experience and we would happily shop at Ashley again and would love to work with Tammy again as well.

Wonderful service and good prices
I went to look for a dresser and ended up buying an area rug. They did not have the dress I was looking for, but I saw their area on sale for $20 and they were huge rugs 8‘ x 11‘. The girl that helped me at this Mentor store couldn’t have been sweeter, but both the girls that I came in contact with her very nice. They help me fit it in my car by folding it up and taping it for me. The last time I was there, I went for a table and ended up leaving with a blanket. They have great clearance deals so even if you don’t find what you’re looking for you’re bound to find something.. All in all great store will be stopping back often to check on the clearance sales

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the kind and helpful Clare. She checked in with us throughout our perusing of the store, but was by no means pushy. She helped us find the couch that was right for us and our budget, and we were also able to discuss cats, which was wonderful. I have already recommended Ashley Furniture in Mentor to my coworkers, and told them how awesome Clare was. We're looking forward to the delivery of our couch!

First let me say that sales associate Allison deserves 10 stars. She is helpful and knowledgeable. She even drove to our house to deliver an item that the delivery team forgot. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our item took longer to arrive than what was first stated. But I understand this is a common issue for all furniture stores. Don’t hesitate to use Ashley Furniture they offer good prices and have great options and make sure you ask for Allison! She’s the “BEST”

This was my first time in an Ashley Furniture Store and also the last. A gentlemen named Dion helped me and essentially sold me furniture under the false pretense I was getting a good deal. The furniture in the store was marked up the day I bought it compared to online stores which made it seem like when he gave me the discounts I was getting some stellar deal. Reality was, I was paying the normal price for the furniture. He also encouraged me to finance the furniture which I didn’t need to do, but agreed it didn’t sound like a bad idea. Turns out they don’t use a credit union when you finance you are opening a credit card. A credit card was NEVER mentioned in this conversation. As a younger female without prior knowledge of furniture shopping, I was definitely taken advantage of and manipulated. I called the store and talked to a manager. No one ever called me back after they said they would. Needless to say, I’m never ever buying furniture with them again and will continue to discourage others. At least from this specific location.

As we found our favorites he was looking up competitor pricing (without our asking) and matching where he could - but Ashley’s prices were hard to beat during their VIP sale. It was like Black Friday in May. Every step of the way, Josh made this whole experience absolutely fantastic. Never pushy but always accessible when needed. I truly cannot say enough good things about him, our experience, the amazing sale and quality of furniture. Highly recommend!

First purchase from Ashley was two years ago and we paid extra for the extended warranty. Am I ever glad! One of the cushions was recently cut and I filed a claim and was surprised when they called to let me know that they are replacing the whole unit. We love the couch and their service has been super. When we buy our next furniture we’ll start at Ashley.

In-store experience was good. The resulting sale and delivery of our tempurpedic beds and adjustable stands was terrible. We were promised a couple complimentary items with our purchase. When we reviewed the invoice and final cost in store, we noticed we were charged full price for those items. Upon our inquiry as to why we were charged fully, we were promised free white glove delivery instead, which included taking away our old mattress and box spring, a $599 value. After putting 30% down and leaving the store, we later discovered that Tempurpedic was offering discounts the store did not offer along with free white glove delivery. The store did eventually honor the Tempurpedic discounts but why did we have to discover these discounts on our own? The delivery of the beds was another let down. The adjustable stands did not clear our existing king bed footboard. I had to adjust the rails so the beds would actually work. We were told in-store the twin xl beds would work within our existing king bed framing. Obviously the installers did not test operation of the beds before leaving, nor provide us the opportunity to test them. In addition they refused to take our old mattress and box springs, sticking us with trying to get rid of them. We’re still waiting for the store to tell us why they didn’t take the mattress and box springs. Not holding my breath we’ll hear from them. In conclusion, based on our experience, you’re best to shop elsewhere!

Went shopping for a couch and a mattress. The couch was priced more than $1000 over the competitor across the street. Luckily, there was a price match with no incentive to choose the retailer. When trying to bundle and buy a mattress, we could not meet on a price point, which was only $100 away. Two days later, I received a text message saying that I could get the bundle for roughly $200 less than originally quoted. But, after carefully reviewing what the sales person texted, he would’ve downgraded me on the mattress from a purple premier plus to a Purple premier to one that was $600 less. so I would’ve received a lesser quality mattress and would’ve had to pay an extra $400 . … I also advised for the manager to call me if he wanted to do anything but he only texted . Also have a screen shot of the sales person saying the mattress cover, sheet set and delivery would be free, now being told that isn’t true .

We worked with Dion in trying to pick out a new work desk. Dion allowed us the space to see if there was something we liked versus being “in our faces” trying to force a sale. Once we had picked out what we liked he made the purchase and set up of delivery absolutely seamless! It was an overall great experience and we can’t wait to go back and purchase more furniture from him!

The store is ok. But, I’m going to warn you.. don’t buy from here. It's a night mare! I purchased a dining room set. I’ve had them replace it 4 times now and it still isn’t right. They want me to keep something that isn’t right and I’m not going to just give in. Wobbly chairs and scratched up tables with gaps in them just isn’t right. They refuse to give me my money back. Just not right!!

I've been looking for bedroom furniture for awhile. Once I walked in the door I was welcome . The saleswoman Chay in mentor Ashley furniture she is amazing. This was our third furniture store for the day. It should have been our first. The sales associate, Allison, walked around with my wife with pillows and they were able to basically put a whole room together with chairs and couches (except they are called sofas at Ashley). We even purchased an accent chair. Fellas..it’s a thing. We left more than happy. Great value, great (and professional) sales associates. Will be back for the next accent chair!

From the moment I walked through the doors they were engaging friendly and just wonderful people to work with my person of contact was Stacy she was busy at the door with another customer I realized that and said well let me walk around the showroom was so large let her finish that she came to me immediately after she was finished and said well I'm just here to follow up and it was pleasant from that point on I did a test for a mattress to find the perfect one for me the other places I went to sit down you try a few out and by the time you finish doing that you forget everything and all of the mattresses that you laid on and you're confused and really don't know what the choice should be she helped me with that she showed me the bed that I had wanted that I saw online it was actually in the store I was so pleased and happy it was wonderful I got sheets and pillows with no pressure from her I just inquired and she was like oh certainly if you're interested and I ended up getting a little love seat that I was considering but at the time I didn't have room for it I'm in the process of moving and it happened to be on sale by $1,200 less and she helped me get that and told me I could keep it there for about 4 months or whatever and it was just pleasant pleasant pleasant pleasant I could not have asked for more I wish all businesses would treat their customers this way it wouldn't make spending so much money so difficult and regretful thank you Ashley Furniture store and thank you Stacy you are wonderful

My husband and I came in, looking for a new Purple mattress. She showed us our options within that brand and did a great job explaining the technology of the material. She also suggested another brand and let me try out some of the pillows available through Ashley. She was very patient with me as I was super indecisive and kept going back and forth between 2 of the Purple options. They make shopping for a new mattress super easy and comfortable! The sales staff are super knowledgeable and helpful! I love my furniture and have received great discounts that I paired with long-term financing with no interest. I loved that they had so much is stock and don’t have to wait to enjoy my new house! Purchased a couch and chair from Ashley. They even matched a competitors price. They did charge for delivery. Problem is my wife and I are physically challenged at the moment but they wouldn't at least move the old furniture out to the garage. We didn't ask them to haul it away just move it. Then the delivery drivers asked for a tip. I find that insulting. We will not be shopping at Ashley again.
Premium protection plan is the worst thing ever. They don't fix anything and look for every excuse, to not fix anything. Do not get it.
Brought a table and chairs. 2 of the four chairs wobbled. They came and 'fixed' them. But one chair was reassembled incorrectly. The cross bar broke. Then, they ordered the wrong repair parts. Refused to extend warranty. 5 months later, I am still waiting for it to be fixed.

Misleading sales representatives. Told items were on my order until after we paid. Then told certain items were never on the order. Then told pay more if I want the missing items. Then given the run around about when my delivery will arrive. Been weeks since promised date
Shocking incompetence, especially from “Katrina”. She has now rescheduled my mothers Christmas gift sofa set 4 times in 6 weeks. Ruined Christmas outright. Even threatened a $75 dollar fee if we dared to reschedule the delivery date that they had already changed 4 times. This worthless dying business will never get a dime of my money ever again. This is why Amazon is putting all these garbage companies out of business.

I had such a great experience with the Ashley store in Mentor, from my sales person, Keathon, to the delivery of my final piece. I purchased a mattress, recliner, and sofa recliner in November of 2021. The mattress arrived in just a few weeks, and was perfect. They did explain it would be several months for manufacturing and delivery of the furniture, so I knew I was in for a wait. I received both pieces in May, but there was a small stain on one of the footrests of the sofa. It was hardly noticeable, so I didn't see it until about a half hour after delivery. When I called to find out cleaning instructions, they said they would send a tech out to replace the stained piece of material. It did take a couple months for that, but I was okay with that. The furniture and mattress are very comfortable, look great, and were definitely worth the wait! Thank you Ashley!!!
It took 2 months to get our couch and loveseat which was expected at the start, but the loveseat arrived damaged and unusable. Another 2.5 months later and a repair tech came to evaluate and determined it non-fixable. Another week or so later a replacement finally arrived and was acceptable. 3 trips with time spent waiting at home and numerous calls which fell on deaf ears. Yet payment was expected as soon as original non-functional unit arrived. Paying while unable to use was difficult to swallow and Sales Manager washed his hands of any accountability. We will not be shopping here again.
Bought an expensive bed and a wardrobe. While the wardrobe is still nice, the bed was made cheaply and broke off in pieces where the drawers were. Called because I got the warranty and was told oh no it's only for scratches dents. What the heck does that matter when I have a two foot long piece of wood that broke off from the bed? I would think that would be covered under the warranty but no, it was not. Slats under the mattress just made cheaply as well and broke as well. Just not a great experience.

We went to Ashley's to furnish a downtown apartment we rented. First the good: the people in the store were very helpful and when we finally got our furniture it looked nice and was of good quality. The bad: delivery was a nightmare. Our furniture came in 3 deliveries, the first delivery of a mattress and table and chair set went fairly well except for the table missing a leg which they did get shipped to us within a week. It took 4 attempts for us to get our second delivery which entailed a half day off of work each time. The first delivery the drivers drove by our building without stopping because they saw a road closed and never called to tell us. Had they called I could have brought them in another entrance and wouldn't have waited for hours for a delivery that never came. The second time our furniture was delivered to the wrong address. On our third attempt the drivers refused to double park their truck which is what every other delivery person making deliveries to our building does, including Ashley's delivery people on 3 other occasions. On the 4th try our couch, chair and nightstand finally came but was supposed to be delivered by 5:30, at 8:30 we got a call that they were running late and did we want to reschedule, and after saying no, the furniture finally arrived at 10:30 pm on a Friday night because Ashley way overfilled the delivery truck. Our last delivery of a bed took about 6 months but was not accompanied by the previous issues. My understanding is that Ashley contracts out their deliveries, which allows them not to take responsibility for the snafus that happen, frankly an apology doesn't help me after taking off work. We did have some excellent delivery people and some who were not, but you don't get to chose. I would certainly never order anything to be delivered downtown again and probably wouldn't order from Ashley again because it just wasn't worth the hassle getting it delivered. Lastly as this was going on we attempted to call the Mentor store to help us. They expressed appropriate outrage but never did anything to help.
I would like to sing the praises of one of your Salesmen at the Mentor Ashley Furniture Store, Mitchell Myers. Mitchell helped us buy a new mattress a few weeks ago. He was very respectful and extremely knowledgeable of the product we were seeking. His work ethic belied his years, and we felt very comfortable with him, as well as being educated by the information he provided us! We happily bought a mattress from him, and we will HIGHLY recommend him to our friends!! Thank you, Mitchell, for caring about your customers and the products that you represent and sell!! 😊
I needed a sectional and I knew they were having a Black Friday sale for the whole month of July. I told Hunter the salesman what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for. He wasn't pushy and he knew what he was talking about. Most definitely would come back if I need more furniture
Kendra was very warm and welcoming from the start. Her approach was not pushy or pressuring whatsoever. She showed us one model based on what we were looking for and then let us look. We ended up getting the example she showed us in the beginning! It was a great experience at Ashley.
Buyer beware!!! Very deceptive, dishonest and unprofessional. We purchased a purple mattress from Ashley. When the mattress was delivered, the company Ashley hired to deliver the mattress came an hour late, ripped the Wi-Fi wire that was attached to our house off our house with their truck when they left which left us without Wi-Fi for three days and decapitated the top of our lightpost off which we had fix on our own. My husband and i had to take time off of work because we couldn't work without Wi-Fi. Worse than that, though, we were provided with the 100 day guarantee paperwork along with the mattress when it was delivered that if we don't like the mattress we can return it for a full refund, but we had to try it for approximately a month before we could determine if we wanted it or not. The mattress was much firmer than the display model in the store that we tried out. We slept on it for a month though and it remained very uncomfortable. My back which is already in bad shape has progressively gotten worse (I am now taking 8 ibuprofen in addition to my prescription medication to get some sleep; not even a full night). My husband called to return the mattress after we had it for the month and they refused to take it back. Come to find out if you purchase the mattress from Ashley and not from Purple directly, there is no guarantee. Why did we get paperwork telling us otherwise? Purple won't work with us either. Now we are stuck with a $3000 mattress we have to pay for and don't like. It is horrible!!! Never will do business with such a deceptive, dishonest, unprofessional place.
Bought a king plush mattress from the Mentor Ohio store to replace a mattress that I had previously bought from them years before. My old one was a plush and really comfortable but was breaking down due to age. The bed we chose was checked out in two different stores and it was a Beautyrest Carbon Lux Plush. It was comfortable as my old plush was. When they delivered it, it was a hard brick and caused pain. I was told in the store they could do nothing but call corporate maybe they could help. I was told to wait 30 days give it a chance which I did. Not only was the mattress hard it was inconsistent on it's feel, also the sides sank in certain spots and did not give support. When their first tech did not give them what they wanted they sent out another one which was only checking for body impressions. I kept telling them that was not the problem and I did not have it long enough to do that. Even though I tried to tell them what the real problem was I was told there was nothing they could do. They don't back their products and will blow you off and ignore your concerns and only do what will benefit them. I spent over 2 grand for something I could not sleep on without pain. I wound up having to spend more for a mattress topper which is a medium firm topper. This topper is more comfortable than the hard mattress that I got. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE! I REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! Check out their reviews on not just their mattresses but all other products. I see a lot of dissatisfied customers and many different products! Do not purchase from them without getting a written guarantee. I should of bought on Beautyrest site and then I would of had a 100 trial period that is not guaranteed in the Ashley Store! We wanted to purchase in our home state and help someone get credit for the sale. Wrong move on our part since they do not care about their customers only making money no matter what!

Ordered a small entry table in Feb 2021, was told delivery could take up to 3 months due to Covid and supply chain issues. Called customer service (store doesn't deal with customers after your money changes hands) beginning in July as there had been no updates on the order. Was told it was in production and marked a high priority. Called about every 6 weeks to check status, nothing. Finally, in Feb 2022 I called the store and spoke with manager Jacob. He said they monitor all outstanding orders and none dated that far back-not so! He found the order and said the saleswoman was no longer at the company, not sure of the relevance. He said they don't carry that table any longer and suggested we pick another or cancel the order. I cancelled the order and he said he'd issue a refund. The icing on the cake, and what prompted this review, is he told me he would not charge the 10% restocking fee. Seriously? It's bad enough that a year went by with no product but to act as though you did me a favor by not charging a fee is outrageous and really poor customer service.
I paid a lot of money for my living room set delivered February 2020. I purchased the extended warranty which is useless. I had a hole that developed in the paper thin material, called the warranty company and got the m aterial delivered. A gentleman came out to repair and didn't have enough material. A new order was placed for the material in October 21. I received the material in December, made several calls to the warranty co. And still not fixed. I get a call today from Marie at the warranty company telling me that this obviously pet damage and they will not do anything about it. So my dog is 10 pounds and apparently the couch can't handle that. The salesman assured me that this set was great for people with pets. Never again will I purchase anything from Ashley this furniture is garbage!
Large order of multiple pieces of furniture was made. Some pieces came and were delivered and assembled in Def 2021 Gaming desk was assembled incorrectly and screwed through the bottom of the desk. Leaving a hole and raised area. Pieces of hardware were striped as well. Called for service and was told they would order replacement parts. Took almost two months for replacement parts to come in and they sent the wrong piece. Now they are replacing the entire desk and said it could take up to another 4 - 6 months. After this order is complete we will no longer be shopping at Ashley and will go elsewhere.
Mitchell has amazing customer service. He’s fairly new to the company but he’s very patient and willing to help you and your family find the best options for your home. I had no intentions on purchasing that day but he was able to get me a deal I couldn’t pass up. When shopping ask for himself or Danielle.
Always use the website first. The prices are half of the store. They claim that the price difference is because they are not corporate owned but McDonald's prices are the same so are Domino's. Every 2nd Wednesday they have a 40% off sale but those prices are still higher than the website. NEVER BUY THE WARRANTY
Today we worked with Bill and it was a fantastic experience! He’s super friendly but not pushy which is always an issue while furniture shopping. He was very much our vibe and he helped us pick out furniture that we love! He was flexible and accommodating and taught us some helpful things about the process of furniture buying. Honestly, we worked with another store previously and now wish we had started at Ashley. Looking forward to getting our furniture and coming back! Highly recommend, especially working with Bill. He’s awesome.
My wife and I purchased furniture on 12/31/21, our salesman, Bill Martin told us it was in stock. Bill said someone would call Monday or Tuesday to arrange for delivery. Never hearing from the store over for a week later, we called to see what was going on. We were then told our order was not in stock and would take 12-18 weeks for delivery. Had we been told that initially we never would have went forward with the purchase. We requested to cancel the order and are now being told we will be on the hook for a 12% cancellation fee. We were mislead by the salesman and the manager Daisy, was like oh well there’s nothing I can do for you. We would NOT recommend anyone shop at Ashley, they will dupe you! Good luck on collecting that 12%.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a bedroom set 13 months ago, still do not have everything. Was originally told it would arrive last November, so we sold everything in our bedroom other than the mattress to make sure we had room to receive the new stuff. We have slept on a mattress on the ground with all of our clothes in piles for over a year. The first pieces that arrived were the mattress and a single dresser. We told Ashley furniture that we only wanted the mattress in case we decided to cancel the rest of the order since we were going on 9 months already. The delivery people broke our foyer chandelier during delivery and also snuck in the dresser (that we told them we did not want yet)....now the order becomes difficult to cancel. I notified Ashley of the broken chandelier (with pictures) but nothing was ever done. Finally, 13 months later, we get everything delivered........except they brought the wrong bed slats. Was told someone would call me asap to replace. A week later, 4 calls to Ashley, and no returned calls, they finally tell me they have to order from the manufacturer, another 3-4 weeks. Had to dissemble the whole bed frame in order to place the mattress back on the ground, where we have slept for almost 14 months now.

I walk through the entire store (30 min) and no one helped me!!! No one approached me at all. The woman that was sitting behind the podium didn't ever ask if she could help!! I will never step into another ashey store again.
I just want to say that I wasn’t working with much, but Stacy Horn was so patient, so nice, so honest and really made sure I was getting everything that I needed and even things I didn’t know I needed within my budget. Our full Bedroom set was ordered on 8/22/2020 and we are now 8 months past this order date moving quickly to 9 months and still no furniture. And what is even more amazing is that Ashley is still selling the same bedroom set. So either I am the only one waiting for over 8 months or every one that orders this is also waiting. I am really having a hard time understanding why it is taking longer to make and ship my bed than it is to make and deliver a baby. BUYERS Beware. Ashley's responce to this post maybe true but that is no excuse to keep selling the same set and telling people that it's only a 3 month wait.

Don’t even waste your time or money. The only reason I’m giving one star is because London was extremely helpful when we picked out our furniture. We were told when we ordered (at the end of August) that because of COVID it would be 12 weeks for delivery. No problem. Until twelve weeks came and went. My husband and I kept in contact with the store and miraculously no one was able to give us any sort of update with our things. We had spoken with several store employees that didn’t seem to know what they were doing. One told me that they would escalate our order to corporate. Called back a week later to check and was told by someone else that that isn’t a thing they do. Kept calling back and got the run around. I got ahold of corporate and they told me to call the store. The store kept telling me to call corporate. FINALLY we got half of our order in mid JANUARY. No date in sight when we would get our dining chairs or the other half of our sectional. We asked the manager to be refunded our delivery costs since this was taking forever and NO ONE seemed to know anything nor were they willing to help. Manager said that it would be 7-10 business days and then we would see the money. Called back after 2 weeks with nothing. Spoke to the same manager that “oh I guess I never put it through all the way. Oops”. Then had to wait another month to get the other half of our sectional. Still no delivery estimate for the dining chairs. We JUST got our dining chairs today (March 17th) which makes 6 1/2 months since we placed our delivery. We asked multiple times if we could exchange what we had ordered and were told no. When I called back to speak to someone about my dining chairs I was told that the reason everything was so delayed was because materials meant for furniture were diverted to making toilet paper and cleaning supplies (what even kind of excuse is that??!). Which again was a flat out lie. I asked them twice to put me as the main contact for deliveries and they said they did but still continued to contact my husband. So save your time and money and shop literally anywhere else. You will spend all of your time and energy hunting your stuff down on your own because god forbid they do their jobs and communicate with the customer. Absolutely a waste of time.

Unhappy Customer - paid over $2k for a sectional couch 4 years ago, also added on the "5 year Platinum Ultra-Premium Plan" as extra insurance and while the couch has been okay....pills more than I think it should, cushions don't stay in place, etc, the extra insurance is a complete joke. The company's website doesn't work well enough to use, so then you have to call and talk to a rude person who cuts you off, keeps you waiting for 15+ mins all to tell you basically nothing is covered. Seriously don't waste your money, just go elsewhere.

6 years ago my husband and I paid a lot of money for a whole new bed set. We were told at time of purchase, if we purchased the Platinum Ultra Premium Protection Plan, and did not have to file a claim within 5 years we would get 100% of our money back from the warranty in an instore credit. So we purchased the protection plan (which it clearly states on our invoice). Now, we called yesterday to find out what needs to be done to claim our in-store credit, which is a good chunk of change, and how strange is it, they have no record of us buying the protection plan. According to Ashley we bough a different 10 year plan, in which you don't receive an in-store credit. Again, thankfully I saved all our paperwork. Drove to Mentor and went in to talk to the store manager, in which she stated she could not help us, and she would give our number to the corporate office. But she also showed in her computer system, we did not purchase a protection plan. I showed her our invoice, and she was confused. It seems the sales person we bought the bed from, changed our invoice after we left the store in 2015. Got a call from the corporate office today, and they also notice the discrepancy, but they at least acknowledge it. But to no avail, my husband and I will not be receiving our in-store credit, only a gift card at a third of the amount we were supposed to receive. Just goes to show a salesman will only do what is best for the store, never the customer. We will only be spending what we receive on our gift card, which is basically nothing, and will not step foot in another Ashley store. Never trust a sales person.
Worst furniture buying experience of all time!!! Don’t think I have ever been lied to this many times! Bought a simple sectional in august and it is now February and still no set, plenty of texts saying to be patient but not once has anyone picked up a phone to explain. They have you sign a covid waiver, don’t sign it, all it does is take away your ability to demand an answer as to when will I get my stuff! Now they want to deliver half a sectional, like what am I suppose to do with half a set and no date as to when the rest will be here. And if they deliver half, you have to start making payments even though they won’t give any answers. Please please people, save the aggravation, go to levin, atleast they are honest! My sales lady was Katie, , Katie don’t have a clue, she keeps referring to corporate so she has no real answers, like a robot! DONT GO TO ASHLEYS, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, LIES UPON LIES!!!!
We ordered a couch November 1, 2020. We had a few text messages sent since then to say our order would be 12 weeks. I haven’t heard anything this month. We are expecting it next week... After these reviews I am feeling regretful purchasing something so expensive (2,400) and not even hearing a message during the last 3-4 weeks. I get it— we waited months from another company to get furniture during Covid. I just don’t appreciate being left in the dark for weeks. A simple message this month would be nice. Our current couch is falling apart— so the wait is a little less bearable than it was before. I just don’t understand how we can pay in full and not hear anything. You can’t even leave a message on their number. Disappointing to say the least
I bought a recline rocker a year ago. At first it seemed good but now fabric is ripping. There is no reason for it. I called Ashley and since I didn’t take the warranty out they refuse to stand by their product. DO not buy from them they will not stand by the product. When I tried dealing with the store customer service in mentor Ohio I got the run around. I tried talking. To salesperson they refused to have her call me. Beware they are a rip off Follow up 1-24-21 I called the number you gave me. They were no help. I was told since I did not get an extended warranty they can not do anything. They also said the chair was discontinued so there are no replacement materials. They said I should have called sooner. I told them I did but store 16-mentor Ohio told me I was out of luck when I called them in oct 2019 Bayers beware Ashley WILL NOT stand behind their products. A $600 leather recliner should last more than 6 months. Their products are not worth the money. Thanks for nothing
The experience of buying the furniture was 5 stars. The delivery was only 1 Star. They were not dressed professional and very rude to my wife. I’m sorry but wearing sweat pants hanging down showing your behind and boxers is not professional. Then they left on 2 pieces of wood on bottom of couch because they said it requires a “special” tool. It was just 2 hex screws on each piece that I need a ratchet and socket, not so special. I’m not sure how this is considered White Glove delivery service as Ashley furniture calls it. Very disappointed as we spent a considerable amount of money and had to wait a couple months for delivery to be treated like this. Ashley furniture needs to be more careful on who they hire for their deliveries.
My husband and I went in looking for a new dining room set and island stools. Jimmy was beyond helpful and came up with many suggestions to help us for the area we have. He went above and beyond to piece together 2 different sets. I cannot recommend him enough!
Ordered a 3 piece counter height Caitbrook table set back in October. Took three calls to find out items were ready for pickup. Get table and we got wrong table, they ordered table only and no chairs. Still waiting for them to rectify their screw up. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

We were never updated on delivery of items after we bought so after 18 weeks we contacted Ashley and they had forgotten about out order because the manager we were previously working with had changed stores. We then had a horrible time scheduling delivery on a Saturday for which they never came and we were told a delivery date was never set even though the manager said everything was alright and we scheduled. So we scheduled for the next Saturday. With all this we will still be missing two pieces of furniture that they don't know when they we will be available and delivered, sometime in December. The store has horrible customer service with all moving parts not talking correctly to one another. For all of this hardship all they are giving us is our delivery charge back. Not worth the headache and time spend waiting for furniture that we had already paid for. STAY AWAY.

We were never updated on delivery of items after we bought so after 18 weeks we contacted Ashley and they had forgotten about out order because the manager we were previously working with had changed stores. We then had a horrible time scheduling delivery on a Saturday for which they never came and we were told a delivery date was never set even though the manager said everything was alright and we scheduled. So we scheduled for the next Saturday. With all this we will still be missing two pieces of furniture that they don't know when they we will be available and delivered, sometime in December. The store has horrible customer service with all moving parts not talking correctly to one another. For all of this hardship all they are giving us is our delivery charge back. Not worth the headache and time spend waiting for furniture that we had already paid for. STAY AWAY.

Just wait, lets see how patient you are when its 3 months and still waiting and was supposed to have a delivery on August 5th, prior to that it was a July delivery date. My husband called today and was now told August 25th. We have to reach out to them, they don't reach out to us. Table was damaged when delivered, the chairs that came with them were loose . We ordered a server with it as well and one of the shelves inside was damaged. Still waiting on the shelf and every time my husband calls the store and speaks with the female Manager we get a different story. We ordered a TV Stand/ Entertainment Unit which we were told would be delivered on August 5th or at least some of it and now when my husband called today was told there was no date in system showing delivery. She told us materials come from Vietnam and then shipped to Mississippi or Wisconsin for production. What are they walking it over? We get with Covid there is a lot of craziness going on and we actually wonder if this is the real reason. After reading complaints on Better Business Bureau this seems to be the flavor of this company. We have 4 chairs and a bench in our kitchen but no table. Unbelievable!!!! God only knows when we will get the TV Stand and Side units. We feel we have been lied to and especially after paying in cash. I would be curious to know if other furniture companies have gone through this. Very Unhappy Customer And now Its August 18th 2020 and we were supposed to have our furniture, well another text stating same Bologna and new delivery date is August 25th 2020. As of today, we just got another text saying delivery has been moved up to September 10th!!!! really and when we inquired about getting our money back we were told there would be a restocking charge..... REALLY what are you restocking???? we haven't even received our furniture yet!!!! whomever handles customer service needs to be fired. POOR Customer Service, no follow just a generic standard note that is stamped on these reviews. Well, it is now October 8th and still waiting for our Kitchen Table ( from June) they delivered the first one but was damaged so we had to wait AGAIN for another delivery for the correct one. Well they delivered another table a few weeks ago but it was the WRONG TABLE, they delivered a HIGH TOP table. We have had our benches and chairs and now 4-5 months later still waiting. Does this mean we have to wait all over again to get our correct table? Shouldn't there be a priority delivery for OLDER orders that were screwed up? We are now told October 28th is scheduled delivery date? HMMM we have our doubts. Every time my husband calls New York we get a different response/answer. I work in Customer Service for the largest healthcare system in OHIO and if we handled our customer's as Ashley Store does, I would have no job.
I bought a couch and recliner in Feb 2019, not that old. The couch is falling apart from within, word is broken on both sides and underneath. I purchased the protection plan but come to find out it doesn't cover broken frame work/hardware only stained etc... Called the office best they can do is send me fabric to replace if I chose to find someone that can fix it at my expense, since it been over a year the manufacturer's warranty is expired. Very disappointed in the product, protection plan and customer service.

Ordered a Bedroom set in the beginning of June and was told I would have it in 6-8 weeks. End of July I'm calling because I have now waited 2 months and haven't heard anything!!!!! Talk to a manager to find out that my sales person doesn't work their anymore and that the stuff I ordered probably wouldn't be in for another month or so. I Wanted to cancel but they refuse to let me without charging me 12 percent restocking fee. I called and spoke with the store manager who offered me a credit of 200 and promised me she would get most of my stuff to me by the beginning of September. Now septembers here and I get a text, not even a phone call telling me my stuff is not going to be here till October now so now a third date!!!!!! I have had it with this place now going on 4 months with no stuff!!!!!! I feel robbed!!!!! Oh and guess what store manager doesn't work their anymore either!!!!!!!

Walked out tonight feeling pretty good. Until I looked online to see that all but 2 items I bought on an order over $7k had cheaper original prices online than the “original” prices in the store (purchased with the “50% off” promotion). Feel scammed out of $650+ and really hoping they will make things right tomorrow when I contact them. Update: they matched anything that was lower in price on the website but still don’t think it’s right that the website and stores show different original pricing and have such drastic differences. We purchased a couch on 5/16/20 and spent over $2,000 on it. We were told it would be delivered on 6/23/20. Received a call today that now they are saying we wont get it until 7/24/20. A month later! Honestly extremely disappointed you would spend so much money and they will not do anything for you.

I came here today to look for a sectional loveseat.. I was prepared to pay cash. The people on the sales floor were less than willing to help. One lady saw me looking and went in the complete opposite direction. The guy who said his name was Jimmy never bothered to even try to show me anyting. His response was well whatever you're looking for is it going to be on the floor. REALLY. So what could have been a cash out sale turn out to be me walking out of the store.
Ashley is an absolute joke. The company misleads customers with incorrect information about delivery time frames through their website and customer service representatives. Even after checking with their customer service representative to verify deliver time frames, before placing my order, it is still going to take weeks longer than advertised. Pricing bounces all over the place so items will more than likely be less expensive during the excessive wait for your furniture delivery. Ashley uses misinformation and the infamous "well they are just estimated delivery dates" or "Usually Ships" vague statements to con customers. "Usually ships in 6-7 weeks" is actually code for 8-10 weeks. Take your money and time elsewhere. It's too late for me but save yourself.

Stay as far away from Sarah the shift manager as possible. She is rude, condescending and clearly shows the inability to understand customers service. Absolutely done shopping at this place. Was told we would get our mattress in 14 days, took a month. Was told our pillows and mattress protector would be delivered with the mattress. Still no pillows or mattress protector and going on 2 months. They have messed up the mattress protector size two times and keep on pushing back delivery date. Meanwhile, I can get the same pillows and mattress protector from mattress firm, in stock, across the street for cheaper which is what I'm going to do. They are all sweet and nice in store to make the sale, but once you purchase, there caring goes out the window. Everything is "out of there hands" UPDATE: Shocker...... These jack wagons F'd up the order again and for the 3rd time sent the wrong mattress protector! What a joke! Avoid shopping at this place.

I had the pleasure of being serviced by Sarah Goodman. She is an outstanding sales person. On the first day in the store, she demonstrated professionalism and immense knowledge of the furnishings offered in the store. Sarah was very kind and personable. After our first visit, she contacted me by phone to inquire if I had and questions or concerns regarding the furniture that I verbalized interest in. I returned to the store a few days later to purchase the items. It was a great experience and I would recommend the store to others.
Please take note of the one star rating. Our experience was that the saleswoman was abnormally pushy and the "manager" was extremely condescending. I believe that together they attempted to use every tactics from the Sales101 textbook. The saleswoman actually provided us with some prices that were much lower than on the tags of the items that we were interested in. She then told us to tell the manager that we found them on the internet, and that they would then be certain to match those prices. However, once she fetched the manager, the manager reviewed the prices and told us that they couldn't match them exactly, but countered with somewhat higher prices. At this point we walked out of the store, but the saleswoman actually followed us out of the store. I will say that she did work for her commission. But for some reason we went back inside and they agreed to our offered out the door price. We were then somewhat surprised to learn, after we paid for the items, that it was up to us to call a number to arrange delivery of the furniture. We did that and was given a date three weeks away. As that date approached we received a call delaying delivery for another month. We are nearing the second date, but I am not hopeful that we will actually receive the furniture on that date either. I have since read many negative reviews on other websites of this Ashley furniture store with issues relating to pushy salespeople and multiple delays in actually receiving the furniture purchased. We would not have even visited this store had we read those prior to going there. I would not recommend this store, unless you desire to be aggravated and talked down to by furniture store workers. I suggest that you spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

So call them to schedule they said sure all will be there by 12/22, then 12/15 they call say all but one couch will come, not happy so delivery day they bring only one couch all the other pieces not on truck, call they say oh sorry it will be here by 1/7, 1/6 they call nothing till 11/22 delivery. They must have a training class just on how to bull consumers and well if you cancel even with their 2 month delay game they will still charge you that 12% fee. So folks do not buy their bs and make the store put in writing guaranteed delivery day or fee to cancel and I bet they will not do it or stand by it !!! Buyer beware they do this too many so not a one time thing out previous order although not as bad we had delivery issues simular

Cheyanne assisted us in store and did a great job. It was later in the evening and the other associates were super personable and entertained my children as we processed my fairly large order..... 28 pieces.... 11/30/19. I called to schedule delivery as advised set up for 12/30. I waited home all day... no one showed up. I called and waited 1.5 hours on hold for a representative to be told they had to reschedule for Jan 10th that my items were not finished in production. Well today is Jan 10th.... I call this morning to be told I'm not scheduled for a delivery today.... and of course there are no notes on the account. I am beyond frustrated... missed 2 days of work and gonna have to take a 3rd when they decide to show up. I have been living in my house for 6 weeks with no furniture.....nice.

Decent salespeople, not too annoying. HOWEVER, they conveniently forgot to mention that they only deliver on Wednesdays and Fridays. Really inconvenient for us Monday-Friday working class folk. Would have been nice to know in order to accept the furniture I paid money for, I now have to take a day off of work to receive since they also can’t give us anymore than an hours notice on the time of delivery. AND If you’re not there to receive the furniture you have to pay ANOTHER delivery charge for them to bring it back. •Do yourself a favor and buy from a different furniture store.
I ordered a dining set online on 11/30/19. Per the email, "item usually delivers in 3-4 weeks" the email also stated "we'll contact you to schedule your home delivery." After 3 weeks I contact customer service via email because my order status had not changed. Just hoped to confirm there weren't any issues. Customer support started there were no changes because I needed to contact them to schedule a delivery appointment. Not a problem, minus the fact they told me they would contact me to schedule, but whatever. I scheduled the delivery for 1/4/20, which is 5 weeks from the order date. No big deal, it's the holidays, I'm sure they're extra busy. I get a call today saying the table is still in production and they won't make the scheduled delivery and to pleae call to reschedule. The earliest they can deliver is 1/15/20, which is 8 weeks from the order date. Double the proposed delivery time. In short, due to wasted time and a less than helpful customer service,I won't be a repeat customer. In the future I'll do what I should have done in the first place, support a local business.
Ordered 2 recliners in November. Wont be delivered until Dec 31st. Absolutely ridiculous. Had I had a vehicle that would fit them, they said I could take them home that day. Why then am I waiting for over a month? Edit: I also spent over an hour on hold waiting to schedule the delivery. This is after my wife spent 2 days trying to get a hold of someone so she could schedule it.
I just want to start off saying that I have no problem with my sales person Joe who is also one of the managers. I ordered a fire place tv stand in the early part of November 2019 and is currently still waiting for delivery. Joe advised me to contact the delivery number and they would schedule a delivery time. I've contacted that number several times and no one answers the phone or calls u back after selecting to have someone call you back with out loosing your place in line. I was finally able to schedule a delivery for November 14, 2019 and I waited at home all day. I contacted the store several times that same day and they assured me that items were on the truck and would be delivered today. No one ever showed up and I spoke with Joe and he was understanding and appeared to want to help me out anyway that he could but was able to find additional information until that following Monday. Joe advised he would try to give me a gift card mailed out to me. No call from anyway so I contacted the store on Tuesday. First I was told that the delivery truck broke down and they called all there customers but me and when I wanted to reschedule for the next available date I was then told that the item was damaged on the truck and that's why it was unable to be delivered. I spoke with a female manager and she advised that the item would not be available until after January 8th of 2020. I'm having the same problems that I had with Best Furniture Mentor (permanently closed now).
I went in to look for some furniture and was greeted by Sarah. Her customer service was absolutely amazing. She was personable, understanding, and gave honest feedback. I will definitely be back.
JOE IS AMAZING!!! We bought our couch at this location last year and he made the process so smooth and simple that we returned for our new bed set! With our already high expectations, Joe completely raised the bar again with his spectacular service. We will always come back here and recommend anyone and everyone to do the same.

My wife and I went out to buy a sofa to replace an old worn one. We were looking for a brown one to match a pair of recliners. Our salesperson Veronica was very helpful showing us all the selections that were either brown or you could order them in brown. She pointed us to a sofa that reclines that was on sale for $499 down from $699. We decided to buy 2 at that price and move the old pair down into the basement where I have my big tv and surround sound for movie nights. Once again thank you Veronica for all your help. We'll be back someday.

My husband and I went into Ashley Furniture in Mentor after going to multiple other furniture warehouse/“discounted” stores thinking we would only be leaving with model numbers and ideas of what we wanted the other companies to order. When we got to Ashley, we were greeted with someone who seemed honest and dedicated to getting us what we wanted. Stacy was great in the beginning and spent time with us looking. She then turned us over to Jessica who was equally as helpful in the beginning. When we told them our intentions, they told us they would price match the furniture we found at the other stores so we were sold. Financing, the name-brand, and a company we thought was reputable enough to take their customers seriously and handle transactions with integrity-yeah right. Upon ordering all of our furniture, we chose to order our bed frame/headboard separately. They had zero, nada,zilch availability to deliver that product to us within the next three-ish weeks. Very disappointed, we agreed to pick it up. Reassured that the frame would be there before we got our new HEAVY purple mattress, we agreed and ordered it. Well- it wasn’t there. Not only was it not there, it was late by a week. So we ordered a mattress and had to reschedule that delivery time until we got our frame. What they DON’T tell you about picking up your own frame and headboard is that you then have to put it all together on your own... which was not easy. Okay. Onto the rest of our furniture. We ordered a sectional and dining room table. Both items we could have gotten within two weeks from another company, were scheduled to be delivered in one month (not unreasonable). We told Stacy and Jessica our housewarming party was planned for the weekend following that date and they said no problem it would be there. Little did we know, our furniture was going to be delivered OVER a week later than that promised date. We had already sent invitations for the party and had to call everyone and reschedule the party!!! Ashley furniture took $100 off the order after a lot of negotiation. That brings us to today. We called Ashley furniture of mentor about returning or exchanging 6 large pillows (still in plastic wrap) that came with our sectional. We were not told about the pillows when we ordered the couch and definitely would NOT have chosen yellow pillows for this grey couch. We spent an entire week painting our new home to get rid of yellow paint the previous owners had. If we had known the pillows were yellow with no opportunity for exchange, we wouldn’t have bought the couch!!! The woman on the phone at Ashley told us to sell the pillows on offer up and they wouldn’t exchange them. Overall- we are extremely disappointed in 90% of what we dealt with at Ashley Furniture of Mentor, Ohio. We will NEVER purchase from that company again and everyone we talk to will know how terrible their customer service, delivery times, and quality of customer satisfaction is.

Do not purchase here. They will say it’s one price and when you get your credit card it’ll be different. Management refused to help and said the owner won’t speak to customers. Better off getting something off the side of the road.
Worst buying experience I've ever had. Had a issue with a table being damaged called to get it replaced or fixed. I was given the run around for 2 weeks saying a manager would call me back. Never received a phone call. Stopped into the store twice. The first time I was again told there was no manager available and that I would get a call the following day. Never received a call so I went back a second time. I was told the charges for the table were removed from my purchase. Get my credit card statement and shocker charges are still there. I work in retail and this is not how you handle customers. UPDATE.... TALKED TO THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WERE THE ADMITED THE SALES REP GAVE ME WRONG INFORMATION TO CLOSE MY SALE AND THEY WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. OFFERED A $75 GIFT CARD FOR THE MISTAKE. IT WAS A $4,000 ERROR THEY WILL NOT CORRECT. TOLD ME ONCE ITS DELIVERED THEY WONT EXCEPT RETURNS BUT THEY WILL MAKE SURE THEY TALK TO THEIR SALES EXPERT ABOUT.

I worked with Adam, being in furniture for 27 years at jl Goodman furniture I have to say I would hire him on the spot, he is a real keeper, he came outside to my car to not only assist me but brought almost everything piece that I was shopping for to the front of the store. I have mobility issues and he worked around this without any issues, took multiple pictures of different things I liked and brought them to me. Helped me find the perfect rug and even helped me get that rug into my home while my caregiver was unavailable, couldn't have asked for a more helpful and pleasant experience. Anyone looking to furnish a new home should go see Adam!
Buying from Ashley Mentor was a great experience. They greeted us friendly, were knowledgeable and helpful. Sarah was fun, helpful, but never once pressured us to make a decision. Visiting Ashley in Mentor was the greatest shopping experience I have ever had. Chip was waiting at the door, he greeted me with a huge smile and welcoming tone. The employees allowed me to roam at my own pace. I did not feel pressured to buy, it was a very comfortable environment! They worked with me on my prices and guided me in finding exactly the style I was looking for. We were shopping for a sofa. Went to Ashley Homestore in Mentor, OH and found what we liked. We were only getting a sofa, but then decided to get two rocking recliners too. There are so many things to choose from; styles, fabrics, colors. . . really great. Our sales person, Sarah Goodman, was great! She is very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. First of all they were very kind when I first got there on April 9 .I tried out the beds and picked out what I wanted .as far as the delivery process they gave me an exact date and timeframe for my delivery before I left the store. I was excited for my new beds , I ordered 1Full size bed ,1 twin bed ,1 full size box spring ,and 1 full size bed frame. So my delivery date was April 17 , they called 2 days before my delivery and confirmed it would be coming on the 17th and everything I ordered would come and they confirmed my address and gave me a time. So the next day (the day before my delivery date) they called and delayed my delivery to April 27 I was infuriated!!! How do you you confirm my delivery and tell me everything is good to go but then the day before my delivery you change my date and tell me some of my items are back ordered? That makes no sense, did they give my mattress to somebody else and then make me wait? I will never know the truth! So the delivery day comes they night before they call to confirm everything , I'm excited once again and then boom they deliver everything except my full size mattress! I was beyond mad I spent the whole day calling I was on hold for hours waiting for somebody to answer , I call the store and warehouse, they tried to make me wait a week for 1 mattress saying that the delivery men must've forgot it then I spoke to somebody different and they said it was backorderd . Basically nobody I spoke to had the same story each time they looked at my file! They were rude I was hung up on and my calls were declined! This was a complete negligence for a simple mattress order! I finally talked to somebody this morning and they said it was back ordered and my new delivery date is April 30th I am so unhappy with their services I will never be buying anything from them again! Now I have to wait a whole 5 days with a twin mattress and a full size box spring and a full size bed frame in my living room because of their stupidity! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING WITH THEM THEY ARE FAR FROM AMERICAS 1 FURNITURE AND MATTRESS STORE I would give ZERO stars if I could.!!!!! Terrible service I'll update if I ever get my mattress and I also ordered a night stand so I'll update you guys on how that goes my delivery date for the nightstand is May 22nd .
We ordered all new furniture for our house. The day they delivered it our bed wasn't with them. They said the foot board hasn't been ordered and it will be in next weekend. Come the following weekend we still didn't have a bed and when we called they said it would be next weekend between 3 and 6pm. Well here we are today and still no bed. We called up to the mentor location and asked if they knew anything since corporate was closed. The manager told us that hes not going to look into and that's not his job. And when we asked for a refund he told us no. He was very unprofessional. For the last 3 weeks we have been without a bed because we had all of our old stuff picked up the day before they delivered everything the first time. Either I need my bed that we bought or I need my money back, period.

Anyone looking to purchase from Ashley Furniture - DON'T. Buyer beware. Most horrific experience I have ever had. Was told 3-4 weeks delivery time on a bedroom set that was ordered on 2/26. STILL waiting on delivery and apparently -per their horrible guest relations department - it is not even expected until 4/30 at the earliest. Unbelievable. Dresser was delivered with chip in it and the store won't take it back. Guest relations advised they don't care as it was delivered. Delivery person told us to contact the store. Store will never call you as promised and will avoid you at all costs. You'll spend countless hours of your life on the phone, on hold, or speaking with some "manager " in guest relations" who will regurgitate scripted materials with a lackluster apology. When you visit in person, Sales Rep, Jimmy Campbell, leaves you at the front desk and the manager promises call backs only to go on vacation and leave you hanging. If you want to be treated like dirt and cattle- go here! Next stop, BBB!

I worked with Faith Painting at the Mentor store several times to finally narrow down what I wanted to order. She was very patient, fun to work with and went beyond what I expected in helping me co-ordinate furniture for a small space. Five stars for Faith!

Terrible service. I ordered a couch and they never called to schedule the delivery. I called and scheduled it and they said they would call the day before with a time. That never happen. We had already arranged to have the new couch the same day as carpet but now they say they don't see it on the schedule. Ive been on hold for 10 minutes before they picked up and now on hold again. It's been 20 minutes and still on hold with no answers. Ridiculous

This review is way over due. Our in store experience was great. Jessica was very helpful! The sectional we bought has a cuddler & I couldn’t figure out which side I wanted it on. But she helped me out with drawing out home layout. The delivering process took forever!! I understand during the holidays it’s 3-6 weeks for delivering, however they came to my home on a date we did not agree on, so they should of accomedated us. They said they’ll deliver after New Year’s Day! We were hosting a partying at our new house, so we borrowed a truck to go pick up our couch from the main warehouse... it was a very frustrating process. I recommend they hire more drivers during the holidays.
I wish i could award this company fewer than 1 star since that's far more than they deserve. Don't shop here unless you want to deal with a company that upsells, refuses to stand by their products and pressures you into purchasing additional furniture protection services that refuse to deliver on their contractual agreements. They couldn't even get my initial order right which forced me to have to return to the store three more times. Save your money and find somewhere else to get furniture. You couldn't possibly do worse.
Would like to thank Joe for helping us try to pick the right end tables. He was very nice and didnt pressure us at all. Even though a purchase wasn't made, I will recommend the store to my friends and I will go back.

I have been looking for chairs to go with my present Dinette Set or maybe a whole new set and had been to several stores already finding nothing that I liked. On Saturday, March 16th I set out with a list of several more stores and first one was Ashley Store in Mentor, OH. I never made it to any of the others. Faith greeted me at the door and directed me and then in a few minutes checked up on me. After learning more of what I was looking for, she had me sit down at a table while she went to see if a certain chair could be bought separately. I fell in love with the set I was sitting at - right size table, 4 chairs that were good on my back, a bench and beautiful wood. Just what I was looking for. When she came back, I told her that I would like to see if I could get this set. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional and explained everything in detail and arrived at a price that was a nice surprise to me. Most amazing was the fact that we both had the same unusual name. The other employees could not believe this either and I met many of them, including Paula, the District Manager and Jimmy the Store Manager. They were all so nice. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend this Ashley Store in Mentor, OH and Faith.
The movers that delivered our furniture damaged our walls doors and door knobs I've called and they said I will be contacted in a few days it's been over a week no call back. Also was told a mattress protector was included with everything we bought was not included and never got a call back from Jimmy to see if he could get it fixed very dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service of Ashley. Do not recommend and will not buy anymore furniture from them.

We purchased a sectional, loveseat and recliner from the Mentor Ashley's location. Our Store Consultant/Rep, Stacy, was very easy to work with, and really helped us sort through all the options to make a furniture buy that will be ideal for us. The Ashley Homestore in Mentor OH was our sixth stop looking at sectionals, but, the best of all. Thank you Stacy!
Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star and it has nothing to do with the salesman or the staff at the location, I purchased the loft set for my daughter, they come on the delivery date without the ladder left what they did have, rescheduled for 4 days later to bring the ladder and assemble the bed only to find out that they were still missing parts, this time it's the roll slat for the mattress to lay on, and now we're on a wait to be called back because they're waiting for the manager at the distribution center to respond to a email that was sent and the only compensation given was a "gift card" that can only be spent in a Ashley store the pic shows what we're left with until someone can get back to us. Until then my mom is sharing her bed with my daughter.
My parents went to Ashley Homestore-Mentor on Saturday, March 9th. One of managers they worked with was Chris. Chris was very professional and helpful. They came to the store looking for a few items, but working with Chip. They completed their entire shopping list. He answered their questions and helped with financing and setting things up for delivering. Also, he treated them as a friend of the family and made them feel very comfortable. Outstanding customer service!

purchased sofa and loveseat on 2/2/2019.was to deliver on 2/14/2019.i hurried to pay someone to remove my old coach and loveseat on the 12th.they called on the 13th to cancel and reschedule.now I have nothing to sit on in living room for a week. why don't they have more trucks so we wouldn't be inconveinest as we both have medical problems

they wait at the front for folks to walk in and you almost think you are going to be seated for dinner...there is no "just browsing" here...you have a chaperone the entire time - annoying and uncomfortable. 2 stars because its a nice store with nice selection but i couldn't wait to leave.
