From Start to Finish our experience with Stacey was stellar. She helped us work within our budget and steered us into the right direction concerning financing. She really listens and that is rare in sales. Can’t wait till our recliners arrive after our Christmas tree comes down.

Bought a power recliner. Got the extended warranty and damage plan. Two month into owning it, the chair broke and doesn’t recline right. Called service department. They asked me to send them pictures. Then they ordered parts. How they determined what parts it needed from a picture is a mystery. It took 3 months for the parts to arrive. Got them beginning of November. Notified Ashley service. Spoke to someone to set up service call. Finally got a call today. They can’t come pick it up to fix it until the 31st of December. Then they say they will bring it back January 7th. Ashley’s warranty policy is a joke. The chair is paid in full with extended warranty and I haven’t even been able to use it for the last 6 months. And now I have another month waiting for them to pick it up And fix it. What’s the point of buying extra coverage and not just exchange the chair for a new one? I will never buy another piece of furniture from this company again.

We had a wonderful experience at Ashley’s in Mentor. Sonia was extremely helpful and so was the store manager (we couldn’t remember his name). My mom has to basically refurnish her home after a house fire. We started with her bedroom set and were so pleased with the exceptional service that we will definitely be coming back soon to get the rest of the furniture we need. The sales team was very knowledgeable and helpful getting us set up with the delivery when we need it. The set we chose was beautiful and well made. We definitely recommend shopping at Ashley’s!!!

Someone greets you at the door when you enter. Employees are friendly they allow you to shop unbothered. Nate assist and they offer to take my purchase for me to the car without me even asking.

Bought extended warranty paid almost $1000 for the extended warranty and it covers. Nothing don’t ever buy that warranty. It is not worth it. They will burn you.

I walked in and CHW greeted me at the door and I told what I was looking for. He said follow me and 15 minutes later I had just the recliner I was looking for and was on my way back home. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Andrew is great! He is kind, knowledgeable and friendly but not pushy. Listened to our needs. (Mentor ohio). My poor review is not due to his service. It is based on the fact that half my order was delivered and the other half is not coming for another month! We were not told there would be a delay on any of it until part of order was delivered and when we called to find out why, we were informed it was on back order by service dept. I called Andrew and he was able to get it delivered sooner. We shall see if it does. Hopefully within 2 weeks. Still too long to wait. Also just a text from Ashley about back log the next day! No phone call. Andrew seemed to be the only one who cared to help. Let's hope it comes by 10/11! My first payment will be due before I even get the furniture....frustrating that no communication was made. We would not have ordered it if we knew it would be 6 weeks to get it as we have no furniture in our living room. I also never confirmed delivery of order and was lucky to be home!

Overall the experience was great! The staff ion the floor is very respectful and they will give you space so when you're shopping at the store do not feel like you are under pressure, we had a mind changing at the next day and they were very good and worked with us I will definitely keep shopping there and recommend it to anyone to do so!

I went to Ashley furniture store looking for either a bed or sleeper sofa for my son. Charles was pleasant as he asked me what I was looking for. He showed me several things and he didn't hoover over me. However he did check on me to see if I had any questions. Charles was very knowledgeable about the different pieces of furniture that I was interested in. I for sure would go to see Charles when I need more furniture.

Very poor customer service. When asking for information on a Mirror, it seemed like I was bothering the sales woman. She never introduced herself and walked away. Then when I sought help to purchase it later from another gentleman, she swept in to get the commission. She still never introduced herself and seemed very annoyed.

We entered the store and were pleasantly greeted by Sara. I asked where are the recliners and Sars indicated an area in the center of the store. She did not follow me around like a car salesman and did not connect with us until I had tried about a dozen chairs. I actually had to go find her and let her know I had made a decision. That in itself sold me on Ashley furniture. I did end up selecting a recliner for my use with no pressure pushing me toward a more expensive piece or no sales pitch to get accessories to complement the chair. it was so unusual that Ashley will be my preferred choice and I hope Sara is still there. I’m only giving a 3 star because the sale person who tried to show me around was grest! I was in with my daughter to look at couches and I couldn’t even make it through the whole store because of how unbearable to heat was. It’s almost hotter inside than out! Charles was wonderful & offered us cold water. And the manager checked on us and she was pleasant and offered us snacks but we couldn’t stay in such an uncomfortable environment. We were sweating! The workers was red and sweating. God bless them. If you fix the AC we’d love to come back & look again.

store itself and customer service is fine but God damn the ac must be broken or something in there. it was so unbelievably hot i couldn’t even finish looking at everything. i needed a new living room set but with the way i was sweltering it wasn’t even worth it. would have been more comfortable shopping outside at a yard sale. do better!!!

While the store had a great selection with welcoming employees, it was so unbearably hot, I couldn’t possibly have stayed in there long enough to shop around. The employees available to assist customers were visibly uncomfortable, red in the face, and sweaty. It seemed as if the AC system must’ve been out for days to get the store to that kind of temperature. I’d hate to think any customers are sitting on new furniture available for purchase and sweating on merchandise set out for everyone to try. Overall really ruined my experience.

I had a great experience with this store! I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and the sales associate, Malcolm, found the perfect fit for me. The whole process was easy and he explained everything about the furniture, warranty, and delivery really well.

Awful store with horrible customer service and blatant anti consumer practices. Their online return policy states 30 days but they refuse returns that aren't within 3 days. They make you call, wait and speak with someone, and take pictures of unopened boxes before they'll even consider a return.

Sarah was incredibly kind and thorough with our mattress purchase and made the whole process a breeze.

I took almost a month to test mattresses & look at all my options at other furniture/mattress stores & did research on my final choices, due to health issues. She listened & never once pushed me into buy right away. At the closing of the sale, I was still changing my mind & not one complaint or eye roll at me, as she needed to update my purchase 3 times. Stacy is easy to talk to & made a personal connection that made it easy to relate to the customer. She could teach sales, how to build client base & customer service courses!! Bought a beautiful bedroom set and recliner at Ashley Furniture today. Our sales associate was Sarah. She was low key, in the best way, and very knowledgeable. We were very happy with the prices too. I love the size of their store. They have a large, beautiful selection of furniture, but it’s not such a large store that it’s exhausting to shop in. And I love that they are right there to help if you have questions, but they aren’t high pressure sales at all. This is my third purchase at Ashley Furniture in Mentor in the past 4 years.

Salesperson was excellent. Had a few issues with delivery because of my driveway having snow on it for 3 months...they will NOT deliver if there is snow or ice on your driveway. At the time I was irritated by that...but once my better judgement kicked in...they were right...no ice or snow. Delivery guys were great! Polite and assembled the furniture quickly and neatly!!!

It was good! We got a good deal and our salesperson, Stacy, was extremely helpful. She was excellent and friendly. It only loses two stars due to a specific store policy. Which is that if an item is on clearance they won’t deliver it to your home. Luckily our sweet and wonderful salesperson, Stacy, was able to quickly put us in contact with a third party that would take care of the delivery. Stacy went above and beyond.

We had a wonderful experience at the Ashley store in Mentor Ohio. I took my 95 year-old aunt couch shopping and Stacey met us at the door. She offered a wheelchair which we gladly accepted. . Stacey lead us around the store to find the perfect couch that my aunt loved and made everything so easy! There was a lot of selection and Stacey showed us a few different couches until my aunt found the one that she absolutely loved. I highly recommend this store and great. Kudos to Stacey for going above and beyond that day.

Overal great experience. The store had a ton of options to suit any need, whether that is price or comfort. The sales people were super nice and knowledgeable. Our sales person, Josh, listened to exactly what we were looking for and was able to help narrow down the options. By the end of it, we found the perfect sectional for our family (dogs included), and even got a coffee and end table to complete the room.

We bought a powered base and mattress. Salesman Brett was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a mattress, or furniture.

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted—a stylish recliner chair for my living room. A salesman met me at the door, and it took me about 3 minutes to find the chair. The chair ended up being $300 less than what he thought it was, so that was a bonus. He was good at selling the kind of fabric that was on the chair—I don’t even remember other than I think you can torch it and it’ll be fine. I made a mistake and mentioned that the savings on the chair was great b/c I had just come from purchasing a competitor’s mattress that was expensive. He spent the rest of the time ringing me up badgering me about their mattress sale and their comparable bed for a lesser price. There was a very specific reason I wanted what I had purchased and I was definitely giving off “knock it off” vibes through my answers. He even said, “I’m not going to beat you up about this,” and then continued to badger me about it. It all sort of negated the positive first 5 minutes of the experience. I understand the job of a salesperson, but after enough “no” it’s time to stop. I’ve purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley, and I like the quality and price. Just an annoying experience at this store on this day.

I had a horribly difficult time buying a set of sheets here today. The sales associate Richie was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional throughout our experience - especially considering that I was only buying a set of sheets that I can walk out with easily (not a big piece of furniture that requires shipping for instance). When I started checking out, I noticed that he was watching a soccer game on the company IPad, and he was consistently giving attitude to me & my dad while we were waiting. We stood for 20 minutes at least while watching him get increasingly frustrated with the fact that something in the system wasn’t working, and although multiple other associates walked by to check on him (including the manager), no one helped us until Nicole stepped in to take over (thank you to Nicole - she was the only good part of this). This was an utterly horrible shopping experience and I would highly discourage shopping here if this is the treatment we received for buying something as simple as an overpriced set of sheets.

I recently visited Ashley furniture in Mentor looking for a living room chair. The first thing that caught My eye was how bright and attractively the store was arranged. Great attention was given to placement of furniture, groups, and color coordination. It was very pleasing. Secondly, we were greeted by one of the sales staff, Tammy. I told her, what I was looking for and, as usual, she offered to show me what was available in the store. I know this is common practice and I for one actually appreciate it, but Tammy took it to the next level In my opinion because she was very warm and friendly and knowledgeable. Her help made a big difference. And let me just say, that I learned that she had only been working at the store for a few days.. Yet, she knew that store and its layout as if she were a veteran. My daughter was with me on the shopping expedition And we both agree that it was a very positive experience and we would happily shop at Ashley again and would love to work with Tammy again as well.

Wonderful service and good prices

I went to look for a dresser and ended up buying an area rug. They did not have the dress I was looking for, but I saw their area on sale for $20 and they were huge rugs 8‘ x 11‘. The girl that helped me at this Mentor store couldn’t have been sweeter, but both the girls that I came in contact with her very nice. They help me fit it in my car by folding it up and taping it for me. The last time I was there, I went for a table and ended up leaving with a blanket. They have great clearance deals so even if you don’t find what you’re looking for you’re bound to find something.. All in all great store will be stopping back often to check on the clearance sales

First let me say that sales associate Allison deserves 10 stars. She is helpful and knowledgeable. She even drove to our house to deliver an item that the delivery team forgot. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our item took longer to arrive than what was first stated. But I understand this is a common issue for all furniture stores. Don’t hesitate to use Ashley Furniture they offer good prices and have great options and make sure you ask for Allison! She’s the “BEST”

This was my first time in an Ashley Furniture Store and also the last. A gentlemen named Dion helped me and essentially sold me furniture under the false pretense I was getting a good deal. The furniture in the store was marked up the day I bought it compared to online stores which made it seem like when he gave me the discounts I was getting some stellar deal. Reality was, I was paying the normal price for the furniture. He also encouraged me to finance the furniture which I didn’t need to do, but agreed it didn’t sound like a bad idea. Turns out they don’t use a credit union when you finance you are opening a credit card. A credit card was NEVER mentioned in this conversation. As a younger female without prior knowledge of furniture shopping, I was definitely taken advantage of and manipulated. I called the store and talked to a manager. No one ever called me back after they said they would. Needless to say, I’m never ever buying furniture with them again and will continue to discourage others. At least from this specific location.

Stopped in Ashley to look for a single dinning chair. I had spent a lot if time searching on line but couldn't find exactly what I wanted. ( i had some very specific ideas.) Walked into the Mentor store and immediately met Stacy. She was very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and she guided my search with skilled patience and consideration for my budget. She was outstanding!!!! I would hire her in a minute if I wasn’t retired.

Dion was wonderful! He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and gave me great details about the various pieces of furniture that I was looking for. Stacy was awesome what a great experience buying furniture.

First purchase from Ashley was two years ago and we paid extra for the extended warranty. Am I ever glad! One of the cushions was recently cut and I filed a claim and was surprised when they called to let me know that they are replacing the whole unit. We love the couch and their service has been super. When we buy our next furniture we’ll start at Ashley.

The service was absolutely fantastic! It’s been my experience that service has been lacking in recent years, but Josh Chambers was accommodating. He knew his product line, but was never pushing for a sale. Prices were very competitive, as was quality I will go back again.

In-store experience was good. The resulting sale and delivery of our tempurpedic beds and adjustable stands was terrible. We were promised a couple complimentary items with our purchase. When we reviewed the invoice and final cost in store, we noticed we were charged full price for those items. Upon our inquiry as to why we were charged fully, we were promised free white glove delivery instead, which included taking away our old mattress and box spring, a $599 value. After putting 30% down and leaving the store, we later discovered that Tempurpedic was offering discounts the store did not offer along with free white glove delivery. The store did eventually honor the Tempurpedic discounts but why did we have to discover these discounts on our own? The delivery of the beds was another let down. The adjustable stands did not clear our existing king bed footboard. I had to adjust the rails so the beds would actually work. We were told in-store the twin xl beds would work within our existing king bed framing. Obviously the installers did not test operation of the beds before leaving, nor provide us the opportunity to test them. In addition they refused to take our old mattress and box springs, sticking us with trying to get rid of them. We’re still waiting for the store to tell us why they didn’t take the mattress and box springs. Not holding my breath we’ll hear from them. In conclusion, based on our experience, you’re best to shop elsewhere!

My family and I purchased a great piece of furniture from the Mentor location. Josh was our guy and he definitely deserves a shout out. Josh was very professional, patient, and willing to work within our budget. We felt no pressure at all walking through those doors compared to the other furniture stores around. Went shopping for a couch and a mattress. The couch was priced more than $1000 over the competitor across the street. Luckily, there was a price match with no incentive to choose the retailer. When trying to bundle and buy a mattress, we could not meet on a price point, which was only $100 away. Two days later, I received a text message saying that I could get the bundle for roughly $200 less than originally quoted. But, after carefully reviewing what the sales person texted, he would’ve downgraded me on the mattress from a purple premier plus to a Purple premier to one that was $600 less. so I would’ve received a lesser quality mattress and would’ve had to pay an extra $400 . … I also advised for the manager to call me if he wanted to do anything but he only texted . Also have a screen shot of the sales person saying the mattress cover, sheet set and delivery would be free, now being told that isn’t true .

I had a great shopping experience at Ashley Store. Sales Associate Shay was informative, knowledgeable and professional.

We worked with Dion in trying to pick out a new work desk. Dion allowed us the space to see if there was something we liked versus being “in our faces” trying to force a sale. Once we had picked out what we liked he made the purchase and set up of delivery absolutely seamless! It was an overall great experience and we can’t wait to go back and purchase more furniture from him!

The store is ok. But, I’m going to warn you.. don’t buy from here. It's a night mare! I purchased a dining room set. I’ve had them replace it 4 times now and it still isn’t right. They want me to keep something that isn’t right and I’m not going to just give in. Wobbly chairs and scratched up tables with gaps in them just isn’t right. They refuse to give me my money back. Just not right!!

I've been looking for bedroom furniture for awhile. Once I walked in the door I was welcome . The saleswoman Chay in mentor Ashley furniture she is amazing. Besides helping me out she went the extra mile. I most definitely have found a store with people who care. ( not alot of that these days) I no longer will be going anywhere beside this store for furnishing my entire home. This was an amazing experience an she was so good with me I had ZERO STRESS.

Service was great

This was our third furniture store for the day. It should have been our first. The sales associate, Allison, walked around with my wife with pillows and they were able to basically put a whole room together with chairs and couches (except they are called sofas at Ashley). We even purchased an accent chair. Fellas..it’s a thing. We left more than happy. Great value, great (and professional) sales associates. Will be back for the next accent chair!

As someone who is for the first time setting up his own living space I walked into Ashley unsure of what I could get and what other hoops I may have to jump through. Staff was very courteous and understanding of my needs and helping me in the right direction, financing was pretty easy and got everything settled rather quickly...will definitely go back for more furniture needs in the future
