Don’t shop at the Ashley Store! What a rip off. We bought almost $10k worth of furniture for living room and bedroom. When the living room furniture arrived my husband told them he had two issues with the furniture right away. One was the stitching on the sofa and the other was the console on the loveseat. The delivery driver said he would report it. Showed the report he was sending. We never heard anything from anyone. In the meantime we were in the recliner and the foot part would not lock back into place so we called customer service who asked me to send pictures of the problem. Then they asked me to get under the chair to get the serial number. I asked wouldn’t the serial number be on my order??? They then promised me a new sofa which would be delivered on November 30th. Nothing on the loveseat or recliner. Went to the store and asked for the manager. The associates said that she will be there at 6 pm. It was 5pm. We waited. She arrived at 7:15. We told her the problems and asked that she return what we have and cancel the rest of our order for the bedroom furniture. She said no problem. It will be done. We left. The next day we received a text from Ashley saying they would not be delivering the new sofa on the 30th but it will be delivered with our bedroom furniture in January. I tried to call the manager number on the card she gave me and got no answer. I emailed her and she said she would take care of it. That was almost two weeks ago and I have sent repeated emails and called customer service but two weeks later and no resolution. WHAT A JOKE!!!! The only good news is that we have put in a dispute with the credit card company and will continue to fight.
We had a fantastic time and everyone there to help was so sweet and kind to us and made us feel welcomed and helped. Even though it took longer than expected
The delivery service is automated and wanted to schedule delivery on Christmas Eve. I haven’t been able to talk to a person for delivery. Delivery was booked 30 days out from the purchase. I texted with a customer service rep and they were able to move it up 10 days. Edit: Rescheduled again. The # they give u in this review is an automated service and they are Not helpful.
