Very kind manager with a fun personality, guided us through the store. Although we didn’t buy anything, he never pressured us (very rare)and helped us find our way. Only suggestion is that the store would be a little more organized and less crowded :)

DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE We ordered a 6-piece couch and ottoman with a TV stand January 5, 2025. We were told it would take about 4-6 weeks. In February (about 4 weeks later) we received a text message to schedule our delivery. We then received another text message days before the delivery indicating we needed to schedule the delivery. When we called Ashley we were told that the couch had not been transferred to the Bowling Green distribution center yet. So we rescheduled the delivery. Well that date then comes, and no couch. We are then told the same thing that the couch hasn’t made it to the distribution center yet, and we get rescheduled. Next delivery date - still no couch. Finally someone tells us that there is an issue on the store’s end about the transfer status. The store tells us that the person who sold us the couch and TV stand has transferred stores, but they fixed the issue. They rescheduled us for 3/4/25. 3/4 gets here and we finally get a text with a timeframe so we thought everything was all set, NOPE. Turns out it was only the TV stand. So we call again and they said the couch was still on its way to the distribution center and hadn’t made it yet (again). So it gets rescheduled for Saturday 3/8 because it’s should be there by then. Well Wednesday 3/5 rolls around - we call again and THIS time we are told “there are no notes as to why, but the couch was taken off the schedule for Saturday” and we then asked if the couch was even at the distribution center to which they CONFIRMED that it was there. They told us all they could do now was to put in a ticket with the distribution center to see if we could be added back to schedule for Saturday and call back in 24 hrs. We call back the next day and the next person now tells us that because they “were trying to accommodate” OUR request to deliver the TV stand (since it was available) that the couch got taken off the schedule when the TV stand was delivered - We NEVER asked for the TV stand to be delivered separately. So we rescheduled the couch then for Saturday 3/15/25. Midday Thursday 3/13 rolls around, and we still don’t have the timeframe for delivery, so we call again. They tell us that they have no idea what happened, but that the delivery never got routed in the system and there’s again “no notes” as to why, so they can again put in a ticket to see if we can be added back to the delivery schedule for Saturday 3/15, but it takes 24-48 hrs to find out. We call the store again and speak to the assistant store manager who basically said this was not okay and the person who sold us the couch who is now a manager at the Holland store (Sammi) didn’t do the necessary follow-ups she was supposed to do, and this shouldn’t be happening to us. He told me he would be reaching out to someone to figure out what was going on with the delivery, and that a higher-up would reach out to me soon. 24 hours passes and upon checking the credit card statements for the order it looks like we’ve been charged a $21 promotional fee for having the TV stand delivered separately since it was all supposed to be on the same order with the 60 months 0%, but the TV stand alone wasn’t enough to get the 60 months 0% (which is EXACTLY WHY we ordered them TOGETHER). I’m not even sure that’s worth bringing up at this point because this has all already been the most frustrating process and has gotten us NOWHERE. Had Ashley not kept reaching out to us to schedule and reschedule deliveries (where we’ve made accommodations every time) we probably wouldn’t be this upset. But here we are 7 scheduled deliveries later with no couch and 0 answers. Called again 3/19 and was told by customer service that the couch is in, but it won’t let her schedule a delivery for some reason so she put in a ticket. Called again on 3/21 and we’re now being told the couch apparently is not at the distribution center won’t be at there until APRIL 15th… There are also two more charges on our credit card now from 3/17 for what? Who knows. Safe to say we will never order from Ashley furniture again.
This was my first time shopping at Ashley Furniture and it definitely won’t be my last. Johnny was great to work with and I appreciated that the staff gave us our space while looking around but were always available to give information and answer any questions without any high pressure sales. I can’t wait to receive our dining set!
The sales team was very friendly and NOT PUSHY for a sale. They allowed us time to look around at our pace checking in every once in awhile just to see if we had questions. Our salesman Tad was great, answering all our questions, showing us all the features of the product. It's not often to get someone willing to spend time with you and not want to hurry you up to go to the next customer. I definitely would go back for another piece.

Mattress purchase
We ordered a dining table, 4 chairs, and a bench. Everything at the store and with the delivery was perfectly fine. The salespeople did not seem to pressure us and were there to answer all of our questions very kindly. All of our chairs and bench arrived with at least one leg not leveled with the others leading to them rocking and the delivery team informed us that a tech could resolve the issue within a week or two. We are now over a month from our delivery, have had one appointment with a service tech cancelled on us last minute because apparently they didn't have a tech to come to us and are struggling to get a tech right now because customer service only sets up a day and then you are given the time 2 days in advance with no alternative options... It either works or it doesn't. After having to say no to our appointment on the 25th (tomorrow) which we were given 12:15 to 3:15 as our timeline of arrival we were told we now have to wait until March 11th before we can have the option of a tech again and yet again won't know what timeline we are looking at until 48 hours in advance. It seems like our only options are to keep trying and hoping they give us a time that works and they don't cancel again or take one of our limited days off again in hopes they won't cancel on us again and then have to possibly use another day off the next attempt. It has been incredibly frustrating and seems like once you get your items all customer service falls through the cracks. The location itself was great, the back end stuff with customer service has been a headache to say the least. I will say the quality of the items we received is good and we would be very happy if either the chairs were level at delivery or if it wasn't this big of a hassle to get them fixed.
I went looking for a new sofa and decided on their sleeper sectional with chaise lounge combo. Everyone there was so very nice and helpful even when I had very specific needs. Another plus is they gave me the space I needed to browse while checking in on my needs and answering any of my questions. I love that I was not rushed yet they were very attentive. Amazing store and people, I did make a purchase and will return for any further needs. Big thank you to Brier Cook, amazing salesman and person.

Didn't take them long at all to notice we were in the shop looking at things showed us all our choices went over all the possible ways to purchase if we were interested and never had tried to Hard Sell anything but left it up to me and my grandson which is amazing thank you for having such a dedicated staff
The store personnel could not have been nicer or more accomodating. I bought in the end of Nov. and promised delivery on Jan. 2 nd. They canceled that date a week before and did so again 4 more times. I got it delivered today which was the 5th delivery date I had been given.

I can not say enough about the staff at this Ashley location! Johnny (assistant Manager) greeted us and offered any help as soon as we walked in. He was very attentive & knowledgeable and even took note that I am a Dog Breeder and offered products (Nuvella) that suited our lifestyle. The entire staff was engagingly polite and friendly and pleasantly happy & upbeat. The whole group even offered solutions for alternative financing options, which resulted in a successful transaction, as we are new to the US & have not built a strong credit score as of yet. All in all, this group is wonderful & I am happy to say that it is one of the best furniture shopping experiences I have had. I was promptly greeted as soon as I walked into the Rossford store by Skylar. I was looking for a new couch and love seat. I was not pressured or rushed. She allowed me to take my time and make my own decision. This is my third set of living room furniture I have purchased from Ashley.
EXCELLENT service. We lucked out in finding great recliner$ for us both at a decent price on our first stop out of 9 candidates. But Johnny's service was OUTSTANDING. Bonus was seeing the attached poem framed on the wall, it spoke very loudly to the circumstances that made this necessary in the first place.

Very nice show floor and the people are fantastic. I went in to browse a living room set for tax season, and ended up with an amazing 6 month interest free financing which not only gets me my products sooner, but I get to keep to my original plan of using my tax return. Not to mention great service and amazing furniture.

The delivery service is automated and wanted to schedule delivery on Christmas Eve. I haven’t been able to talk to a person for delivery. Delivery was booked 30 days out from the purchase. I texted with a customer service rep and they were able to move it up 10 days. Edit: Rescheduled again. The # they give u in this review is an automated service and they are Not helpful.

Our sales associate, Skylar, was exceptional. She was nearby to answer questions and offer suggestions, but she was never pushy. Skylar gave us the chance to look at furniture at our own pace, but was ready to help whenever we needed. She was knowledgeable, incredibly kind and patient. When there were technical difficulties with Synchrony, she went out of her way to resolve the problem. When co-workers interrupted her for her pen and other trivial issues she stayed calm, poised and professional. As a result of Skylar’s kindness and professionalism, we purchased a living room set and a kitchen table. We will be back to purchase more and will be asking for Skylar.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this store unless you have tons of time to deal with and correct the misinformation you will be given. 1. The delivery date you are given by your salesperson will change 2. Your sales person will tell you that items are in stock, you buy, and then you will get an email saying that the item is delayed… 3. I bought my granddaughter a bed, was asked about a mattress and I bought this. I asked about a boxspring and was told it wasn’t needed. When bed and mattress were delivered, I was told I had to have a boxspring. 4. I called my salesman, asked about the boxspring and he said he didn’t remember 5. I was told to go online and purchase the boxspring and pick it up at the warehouse . My son went to pick up the boxspring which was sealed in a box. When he got it home, it had to be assembled! No one said the boxspring had to be assembled! Ashley Furniture has very poor customer service. Buyers beware.

My chair was delivered last Thursday and received by my friend Matt as I was still down south organizing my move. I got here Monday night and spent the last several days unpacking. Yesterday, I noticed that there was an unusual gap on one side of the chair. My friend said they had taken it off and back on several times. I don’t want to attempt to fix or adjust it to avoid damaging. I would like if someone could come and assemble correctly. Thank you, Sharon Clark

I purchased a loveseat in July 2023 and just one year later one of the foam pillows has completely lost its shape. I tried to have this fixed by the manufacturer but was a few weeks past there warranty date due to the fact I was suffering from COVID and could not go in the store. When I could get to the store I was told I would have to pay to have it fixed and purchase a higher quality of foam to be put inside the cushion. When I called for service I was told it was beyond the warranty and it was my problem . I would think that buying higher quality furniture from a well known store it would not fall apart in one year and there warranty department would be nicer and more cooperative when something did occur. I will not ever suggest anyone shop there ever again. Very upset with this store in Rossford, Ohio.

everyone in the store was great. no hassle or pushy salepeople.. Renee was a great help in picking out and getting us financed for our couch. financing was easily approved, even with people with " less than perfect credit".. A+++
As soon as I walked through those doors I was getting heckled into buying something. Like for goodness sakes just let me look around, I don’t know what I want, and if I do I will holler at you guys. It’s like they were itching so bad to make a sale they just smother you with this, that, and the other explaining the couches. It’s weird that the lady was trying to convince me to get a leather couch so bad.
Juan Aguayo was very helpful to me on considering options for counter chairs. I bought one and took it home to make sure it was suitable for my sister's needs. Then I decided to buy two more. Juan calculated the cost for the options. I am pleased with the experience.
Very nice store and helpful people. How they handle purchasing things leaves a lot to be desired. Order on a laptop, go over to a counter, have two other people chime in, never show me the pricing being billed, then head across the store to the credit card reader. When I said at the credit card machine that price seemed way high, they said it was correct. When going BACK to the counter and getting my receipt, they had not given the 1/2 off for the items. So had to go through whole chiming in and getting approvals all over again. They apologized and said card would be reimbursed, so hopefully I only get billed for right amount.

Customer service was very good but I spent $2,800 for a new sectional and was given the wrong dimensions. I had called the customer service line and was told there was nothing they could do for me after spending that much money and getting it delivered a couple hours before that. Definitely not shopping through Ashley home store for the future and would suggest to stay away from as well.
Thad was absolutely fantastic!! He was busy but still made time to come to me and tell me and said he would get back to me. He delivered and got back to me, reccomended another piece to me in addition to what I was searching for. Buy the time I got home to measure my space, he had emailed me the pricing options, with a sale!!!!! He made my experience fast, friendly. Professional and all for a fantastic price!! I will be going back!!

Nate was a great salesman. He listen to what I was looking for. He took me around the store showed me everything in stock and alternates. He compared the sizes and qualities of the 2 items I was looking at. I will be back to purchase my sofa from Nate. I didn’t however like the fact I made a mistake choosing my delivery date and asked for an employe to text me back and no one did.
Waited 5 months to get my furniture that was defective switched. They came today with a torn couch. Manager said she would call ma this evening and never did. Terrible customer service from the store and corporate. Thought we made a good choice.

Low rent staff, low rent service. Not the best shopping experience we had.... missing parts from our order...we had to purchase L-brackets to assemble.

The sales associate was great but once you leave the store you won't be talking to a live person at Ashley afterwards. All their numbers are directed to the same automated answering service. Even their corporate office don't answer the phone. Their live Chat service will even direct you to the same automated answering service. Ashley's inability to want to have any direct contact human to human has soured my desire to ever do business with them again.

Updated 3/23/24: We were told the furniture was in stock when we bought it on 3/9/24. Asked that it not be delivered until 3/23/24 because we wanted to make sure we got rid of our old furniture first. Furniture was supposed to be delivered today. Then get a call last week stating won't be delivered until 3/27/24. Today get a call stating it won't be delivered now until 4/4/24. According to sales person, the furniture is in stock and they don't understand what is going on. Called customer service and they say the furniture is at the warehouse, which is literally 15 minutes from my house, but can't deliver it for 5 days. But still no resolution. Now we are without furniture. Funny how something that is supposedly in stock is taking so long to deliver. Word of advice, don't get rid of your old furniture until you see your furniture. Seems everyone is blaming everyone else and no one has a real answer or solution. Lousy customer service and will never do business here again!!! When on the call with customer service, asked to speak with a manager, but guess what, there is none available. Was put on a list for manager call back which might happen in 24-48 hours. What a joke! Preston was great. Wasn’t pushy and gave us time to think when we were buying furniture, but go in there with a complaint and he says the store manager (Kelly) sent an email on it. She says she doesn't expect a resolution on a Saturday. They pull up the order and show me that it is in stock and they got it scheduled for 3/28/24. Great, I took the 27th off for the furniture. Can't guarantee a time of delivery. What a joke. Then asked if I wanted to schedule it for a different date that we would be off work...Are you kidding me?

Had a great buying experience! I was looking for a very specific style for a dining room table and chairs. Preston immediately showed me several options then left me alone so I could compare items without any sales pressure. Also helped that there was a great President’s Day Sale. Preston reviewed everything in writing and answered my questions prior to the actual purchase including a furniture guarantee. ! I purchased exactly what I was looking for at a great price and very happy with the entire experience.

While having two fairly good experiences with Ashley, my most recent experience has been a nightmare. My wife and I purchased a dinning room table and chairs. We picked it up from the warehouse in Bowling Green and were told if there were any issues found after unboxing to contact the store (Rossford location). I got the base built and upon unboxing the top I noticed a defect in the table top. I checked the box, there was no damage to either side of the box and no impact marks of any kind on the table top. I can only assume it’s a manufacturing defect as the crack appears to be on a knot in the wood. I immediately contacted the store, to be put on hold for 15 minutes for them to give me a number which I called and was referred back to the store. I then called the store and waited on hold for an additional 20 minutes to speak to a manager who gave me another phone number stating the store cannot help me. I called this number and used the call back option. Around 30 minutes later my call was returned and I was told I needed to text an automated text line. So after talking to 5 different human beings I texted the automated text line. I was supposed to receive a text back from a tech. Needless to say I never received a reply. The next day I went into the store asking how to return the whole set. The store again told me they cannot help me with that. From there they gave me another number to call. I went to my car and called the number as I was not leaving without some sort of resolution. After waiting 22 minutes on hold and almost walking back into the store someone answered. The lady was very helpful and made me feel at ease. I was told a tech needed to assess the damage and determine if it could be repaired or if it needed to be replaced. From there I was told the earliest a tech could get to me is 4/23/2024. We bought the table on 1/26/2024 and picked it up 2/3/2024. So I’m stuck with a defective table for almost 3 months. Terrible customer service, the store is quick to take your money but can’t help with anything beyond that. Beyond disappointed and I will not do any future business with Ashley furniture.

My wife and I stopped into the Rossford store this afternoon after spending the day in the Toledo area shopping for a sofa. We were super impressed with the selection and Preston, our sales assistant was absolutely AMAZING! He was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help out.
Spent over $3,400 on a sectional and ottoman that was damaged under the plastic and cardboard wrapping. I didn't notice it until I got home and got everything unwrapped. When I contacted them it was a huge hassle and took two days to finally get someone to answer and help with the issue. I am now told I have to wait three months until someone can come out and fix the damage to the overpriced furniture I feel should have been perfect the first time. I will not be a return customer and will highly advise anyone to shop elsewhere. For the amount you spend, the quality should be no issue. It's a nice sectional, the only reason this reviews is getting two stars, but I'm VERY disappointed in Ashley Furniture.

Not happy that I was supposed to get my order Tuesday but they called yesterday and cancelled it and said it will be over a week before they can schedule it again.. not good service especially when delivery is not cheap will not order again
Paid for the delivery of my items and got a call yesterday saying they had to cancel our delivery date and I wouldn’t get my items for over another week.. not happy

Excellent customer service at the time of my purchase. However, when the time came to schedule delivery, I was informed that they do not deliver to my area. In addition, they would not take back mattress protectors that had not been opened. They stated it was store policy that they could not take them back and therefore, withheld $400 of my money that should have been returned to me. I had initially made a purchase of over $10,000 to furnish a home that I had just purchased. I can honestly say that I have never been treated more rudely and unprofessionally than I was treated at this store by its management in Rossford, Ohio. It is with certainty that I will NEVER set foot in that store again. Buyer needs to be aware of all fine print in their contract you sign.

Sales guy in blue shirt super nice told us to check out beds. Another employee moving furniture came out of no where and yelled at my 6 year old for sitting on bed. He terrified her and it happened so fast I was stunned. We left immediately. He could talked to me but to yell at a child like that super unprofessional.

The furniture movers were great, but had a really hard time with scheduling delivery. Had scheduled with the store for the 6th and somehow the date changed to the 9th and had to take a day off of work
I am being generous giving this store 1 star. We purchased 5 tables, 1 was a floor model the other 4 had to picked up at BG. We hired a driver to go to Rossford to pick up the floor model and they told our driver that all 5 tables were at BG. Our driver had all the paper work. He went to BG and they said there was only 4 tables there, which he brought home. We had to pay him again to pick up the floor model in Rossford. Clearly being the stores fault we had to pay the driver a second time. The store said they would refund $65 for the drivers second trip. After 2 billing cycles nothing has been refunded. Every time I call Preston - the salesman and Kelly - the manager - they are on vacation or it is their day off. I finally found the corporate phone number and hopefully we will get our refund. We love out tables but I will never deal with this store again!
If zero stars was an option, I would give this place that rating. The sales people were attentive and helpful until they had my credit card in their hands. Once they did, they were AWFUL. It started with delivery. The delivery men were absolutely incompetent. They broke a crucial piece of the bed frame I bought and had to take it back. When I called to find out when it would be replaced, they would not give a straight answer. I was on the phone with the help center for HOURS, 4 days in a row, with still no answers. Finally, one ‘customer service’ representative said they have the bed in stock, but the most convenient delivery day was TWO WEEKS after the original delivery, and they refused to make any adjustments. I have been sleeping on my COUCH for a week, and STILL have no clear answer on when my bed will be delivered. They consistently promise a call back, and never do. Save your money, save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. They are AWFUL!

So while our sales rep was very nice, the price that was on the placard for the sofa we bought said $2599.99, in reviewing the receipt we were charged $2,849.99. We weren’t given the option to decline the protection plan which we would have done and plan on doing when I have to go into the store. We wanted an ottoman with the couch and even though we were told that he was going to override the transaction so that we weren’t charged twice for shipping but low and behold we were charged another $80 for shipping. I’ve tried twice to call the store which routes you to a service where they’ll send a “ticket” to the store and they’ll call you back within 24 hours. I’m not at the 48 hour mark and when I called again I’m told they’ll send another ticket to the store. At this point I’m done calling and will be stopping into the store to get a refund of the $880 over charge. So in short watch your invoice before you give them your credit card

Horrible... stay away! Bought a table and chairs in stock. Suddenly after I paid it's on back ordered. 4 pick up dates later and yet again it's not in stock and will be several more weeks... even when we were told we can pick it up they Suddenly don't have any. Shady company over selling product they don't have. Foreign call centers are used and you can not call the store directly or the warehouse. Stay away

We visited Ashley looking for a small sectional. We were greeted by Sam and she explained most sectionals could be customized to what we wanted. We found a nice one. Sam was very nice and professional. The store was clean and easy to look at all furniture.

Sleep expert and other sales consultant very helpful. I ended up choosing a mattress that I didn't expect I would like but it soothed all my aches and pains from sleeping on a 21 yr old mattress. They answered all my questions and more. My only criticism is having to pay for delivery when spending thousands of dollars in your store and not qualifying for a free power base for terms longer than 12 months same as cash.

This company is horrible. waited over 6 weeks for a dresser and finally decided to gust return it, as well as a over the ottoman table(that was discontinued and not delivered to me, and i wasn’t notified that it was discontinued),and ALREADY PAID FOR IT!! $over $1200 dollars! This was returned on NOV 21st!! I still have not received my refund!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ! THANKS ASHLEY!! MERRY CHRISTMAS! As a Follow up, it is now January 9, 2024, and I STILL have not received my FULL refund. !!

Ordered a 2 dressers on 9/8 .Salesperson setup delivery for the 9/26 I took that day off so I can be home. Then I got a text saying need to setup delivery for the 9/30. I am not happy about this. I'll have to change my schedule and probably have to take a day off again. I think warehouse and salesperson should be on the same page. Probably won't shop at Ashley 's anymore since they can't get there delivery right.
Preston Childress was amazing with us!!! He greeted us at the door immediately as we walked in. He was able to get us a great deal and was so patient with us. He had the answer to every question we had. If he was not sure of the answer he got the answer for us quickly. We were offered many options and he gave us the details of each option. We felt very knowledgeable about what we were walking out of the store with.
Preston helped us. He was great. Gave us our space and didn’t hover. When we finally made our decision, he was quick with getting us the pricing. He made the whole transaction very easy!

Great experience buying a vouch here. I get overwhelmed easily and Day was very good at respecting the space I needed but, was helpful with all questions. She helped with all questions and anticipated questions I did not think about. I've been searching for couches for a while and I was very impressed with this process. My best friend was with me and was so pleased with the process that we came back the next day and he bought a whole living room set. Ashley furniture has gained a new customer and Day, the sales rep, has gained a new client. 5 stars start to finish.

Same issues as Lindsay below. The sales person, Mary, was very good, but the entire experience was a disaster. We sat in our new home without any furniture for weeks from the date they promised the furniture. They originally claimed to hold up a large order of furniture over just one item, then the new stories started, if you were lucky enough to ever get a hold of someone by phone. I like the style of some of their furniture, but the utter nightmare to get any response was enough to pull your hair out. This was at the Holland store. Then I actually gave them another chance at the new Rossford store, and they quoted me a price, and then tried to change it the next day by $500. The new salesperson never answered the cell phone # he gave me. The store phone said they were always closed for 2 days, and they didn’t even respond back to a personal email they gave me at the time I was ready to make a purchase(which I gave up on a response after 24 hours). A good friend warned me that two of his deliveries came with damaged items. It is as bad as I have ever seen. How they stay in business is just beyond me.
First, I want to say that our sales associate Elliot was incredibly helpful, he gets 5/5 stars! (I have learned that Elliot has since resigned from his position due to the terrible business practices of Ashley's). I recently went to Ashley Furniture to purchase a couch, ottoman, and recliner for our new home. Unfortunately, the systems were down and we were told that our order would not be placed until they were back up and running. The telephone systems were also down therefor if I wanted to check on the status of my order the only way to do so was to visit the store in-person. This went on for over a week. After about 7 days I believe the telephone and ordering systems were fixed. I was informed that someone from the store would be reaching out to take my payment and officially place my order. It has been an additional 8 days since the systems came back online and no one has called me about my order. I have called a dozen times and the automated call service hangs up on me no matter what option I select. The disorganization and lack of communication is unacceptable. I urge anyone considering purchasing Ashley furniture to read all the reviews online. In addition to the challenges I faced, there is an entire facebook page dedicated to horror stories about misplaced orders, 1-year wait times for delivery, broken or damaged furniture, and other quality issues. If I could give zero stars I would. On a positive note, we ended up ordering through Lazyboy and have had a wonderful experience! Whether you chose Lazyboy or another competitor, RUN from Ashley Furniture as fast as you can.
