At the store, I told the manager I was on my way with the cash for the chair pick out the day before. Since it was a floor model he said it would be ready. After arriving 30 min later. Manager left for the day and didn't say a word to anybody that I would be there shortly. Evidently not caring if I bought the item or not. Your customer service line, I called it to get ahold of the sandusky store, your automated system sucks. When you finally get someone she puts me on hold for 13 min. Just to give me the customer service number ( the one I just called).ueless.

We just left the store. He was doing good till we asked about the warranty. Then he started pressure selling an extended warranty and when we asked for his card he started doing more pressure selling and asking what he could do to sell it to us today. When he asked for our email, I said thank you anyway and have a good day, and we started walking out. He called out as we left about how he works on commission. I called back that he just lost the sale.

I spent around 2 hours or more on April 25, 2025 in your Sandusky store to pick out a couch, recliner, bed frame, mattress and a Temperpedic adjustable bed. I paid $4,700 down and financed the remainder of approximately $2,700 (which I plan on paying off within the next couple of days. I was originally told that my purchases will be shipped in “two separate orders on May 6 and May 8 (May 11 at the latest) by the salesman and whom I believe was the manager of the store. When it got close to my delivery date, I called to check on my delivery times. It was then that I was told that one part of my order was scheduled for MAY 21!!! I was able to call back and talk to an actual agent. I THEN found out that the matress and adjustable part of my bed was “on back order”!! Finally the “first order” arrived in the 21st and lo and behold, the side rails to my bed were the wrong ones ordered by the salesman and store “manager”. I purchased a gray/black barn wood style bed. I was told by the driver that they were “brown and the wrong setup to attach to my bed!!! They delivered my couch, recliner, headboard and footboard. THEN I was told the “rest” of my order will come in TWO MORE deliveries one on May 28th and the rest on June 4th!!! By this time I was furious to say the least!!! I argued with a lady named Jenny for approximately 1/2 hour over the phone. She finally looked “further into the delivery dates” and I was told that the second delivery on June 4 can actually arrive with the other delivery on May 28!she found out that the order for June 4 was NOT on back order as was previously told to me!! I told her that it was “TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE” for the way I’ve been treated since I purchased the items!!! I explained to her that all the bs I’ve been put through and the lie after lie that was told to me I will NEVER buy from Ashley again nor will I EVER recommend you to my worst enemy!!! I feel like all that your company has put me through, I should be given a discount on my remaining balance!! I still don’t know FOR SURE if I’m getting the rest of my bed on May 28 since I was originally told that I would have two separate deliveries for the remainder of my bed. I’ll believe it when I see it!! Once again, I want a discount on the remainder of my balance for ALL that Ashley Furniture has put me through!!! I expect to here from you regarding this matter.

They did not deliver my couch as promised on Thursday cause they text the wrong cell phone that the store made that mistake and it's Saturday and guess what no couch don't know if I will come back for a chair that I was going to it Y Ashley

DO NOT purchase anything from Ashley. Their furniture is cheaply made, doesn’t last long. We even purchased insurance/warranty and they don’t cover anything. Waste of money paying for insurance when they don’t come good for things they say they cover. Will not buy anything else from them again! We’ve purchased several items and most have been garbage that doesn’t last very long.

I liked that this store did not have staff that circled around us. From the time we entered, we were greeted and allowed to browse on our own without feeling " harassed". Shelby, when called upon was eager to assist us with all questions and even put up with us changing our minds several times. She helped with coordinating, measuring, and drawing up individualized pricing plans. She spent every bit of 5 hours with us over two days and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I will definitely return to her for mattress and furniture purchases. Process was smooth and we are excited for our new furniture!

Amazing customer service !

Overall visit was pretty decent, ended up buying a white sectional and a loveseat. My visit consisted of two days, one day, looking at the couch the next day coming to purchase it- I had to confirm it was gonna fit through my door. The first day, my sales lady made a crude comment about earning a little extra cash by flashing someone at a previous job, not that she actually did it, but the thought of doing it. Very strange, made me uncomfortable, didn’t like it. The second day, I came back, knowing that the couches would fit based off of some measurements and I sat around waiting for about 15 minutes while the same sales lady tried to find someone who could help her figure out how to use the computer system to make the sale go through. She seemed a little frantic and was worried about her commission, she verbally said this. Other people walked in, and she seemed more concerned about them, potential clients, than the person in front of her, me, who was actually purchasing something. Definitely would’ve bought the couch with or without the sales person, kind of wish that I had had someone else helping me. I feel like they didn’t tell me very much about what I bought or the process, tried too hard to be relatable.

*This has nothing to do with the Sandusky store. Ashley Furniture and their warranty company do not have good customer service. We purchased a table in early February 2024. While we were at work one day, our cat spilled a cup of water on the table. We cleaned it up immediately once we returned home and saw what happened. What do you know? The table top has now started to warp and in the crevices has started to grow speckled black mold. We did not buy the “accidental protection” so they will do nothing about the water damage. Shame on us for not buying it at an additional excessive cost. However, the table top now also has chipped pieces coming off. This is unrelated to the water damage. No one in our home dropped or knocked over anything onto the table. They offered to send a technician to fix the chips - awesome. The next day, they changed their mind and said they will not be sending a tech. They want us to fix it ourselves. We just moved into our new house last year and have an entire house to furnish still. It will not be with Ashley Furniture.

Absolutely terrible furniture. Bought from this company twice because I thought the first time maybe my kids were to rough on them. So I went with two pull out couches and in less than 6 months both boards across the front of both couches have come apart from the nails and it can't be fixed unless I take the fabric off. So disappointed. Will never buy from them again.

Sold me something that they couldn't!? My $700 dresser, chest of drawers and night stand . After watching the delivery make it's way here, I get a pop-up saying that the delivery was canceled. It was canceled because I didn't buy the bed & mirror! Which I didn't want or need and would have doubled the price. So I had to reorder it at the cost of an additional $300+ because it was no longer on sale. Bait and switch at it's finest. Ashley furniture is cheaply made and cheaply priced. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I searched all over town for something that would fit my small spare bedroom and Ashley was the only place I could find the right size, because it's CHEAP. Feel scammed and won't recommend them.

The customer service and sales associates were amazing. Customer want to express their wants and needs, and then learn about information that helps them make an educated decision. With Shelby, she possessed both character traits which is rare. Not only did she listen and understand our needs and restrictions, she took time to educate on things we need to consider before we make a final purchase.

What was on the website was what I came in looking for and apparently whatever is on the website is discontinued out of stock items!

They charge you $130 for "white glove" delivery, show up outside of the scheduled delivery window, pressure you into signing for a piece of furniture that clearly is not going to fit because they are "out of time and have more deliveries to make," and then won't let you return the item. You can't talk to anybody at the store, you can only get to a centralized call center, and they are extremely rude. I am canceling the other couch I ordered and never buying from them again.

Ordering the furniture in store was an ok experience but as soon as we left customer service has been nothing but a let down. First off the store told me I was supposed to receive a call as to when I can schedule a delivery. I never received a call so I called the customer service robot (impossible to speak to a human agent). Apparently I was supposed to schedule delivery with the robot and they were not ever going to call me. I am so upset about the customer service that I have received from Ashley’s. First off, they failed to deliver the correct couch and a couch that was not already snapped in half. It has been nearly impossible to speak with a human to resolve the issue, I just simply want the couch I ordered to be delivered and not already broken. That seems next to impossible at this point sadly. When you do speak to someone in customer service you get a different answer each time you call. Had to go back into the store to try to get some answers but they didn’t have any either, it’s a giant mystery as to when I will get my couch, oh and don’t forget you’re supposed to be home for this in the middle of the day and in the middle of the week so Goodluck if you work! They can care less about making it convenient for you. Just know if you order from here they will not deliver on weekends or past 3:00 during the week day even if they messed up your order and wasted a PTO day off for you already. Save yourself a headache and go down the street to any other furniture store.

Alic was helpful. I purchased both a Sleeper sofa and desk. I forgot to ask about the thickness of the mattress and the color of the desk they ordered for me. I looked at the receipt but it's not listed so I called but have not heard back from him, yet.

Went in to "look" and bought a chair. Trey, our sales associate, was attentive but also gave us space to look and discuss. The whole process was good until it came time to discuss delivery options. $300 to deliver from Sandusky to Norwalk is a bit much. Especially only a chair. No assembly. That should be considered in the delivery options. And pick up option was in Bowling Green. One last thing, I tried to call the store to ask a question and there is no option to talk to my sales associate even though that is the number on the card. That is frustrating as well. Trey was a 5 star but the rest of the process lost a star.

Absolute garbage! Bed litterally broke on day 2 just sitting on my side of the bed to change my clothes. Bed side hit the floor. Chest of drawers delivered with a hole in the bottom and the dresser had a drawer that didn’t line up and the tech department wasn’t able to fix that neither. Trying to get a new bedroom suit or just our money back is a nightmare. Almost 2 years later and still nothing is settled. Want to give us a lower level bedroom suit that looks nothing at all like we purchased. We will certainly never ever buy another one of their products. The customer support is non existent

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!My sister and her husband went in and purchased a full bedroom set… bed, dresser, mattress, the works for thousands of dollars. Well today was delivery day. Let’s start with the delivery guys were modern day Cheech and Chong stoners. They brought in the furniture and then looked utterly confused and asked “um did you order a mattress?” When Alli answered yes they said well we have your furniture and not your mattress. She asked them to check and they responded the computer system at Ashley’s is down. The irony of that statement is THREE WEEKS AGO when they went in to purchase the bedroom set were told the computer systems were down then too and all orders went through one store. How on earth does it take 3 weeks to solve this problem???? It doesn’t take NASA computer engineers to solve this, this is a problem easily handled by a first year computer science major. When her husband went in to complain seeing as the customer service line is non existent and no one answers was told a common they had no record of a mattress being ordered. When he stated he was so frustrated he wanted a refund he was told the standard answer “there are no refunds” he then demanded a bed, when they finally relented and gave him a temp bed which was substandard to what they purchased they didn’t even help him load it into his truck, this is unacceptable. What Ashley furniture doesn’t realize is they have a legally binding contract complete with an offer, consideration and acceptance which is in the purchase agreement. That agreement was breached for services not rendered. Now I’m SURE the generic response will be issued with “give us an opportunity to fix this” followed but the number to text or email. This is unacceptable. A more plausible route I suggested was a chargeback to the merchant for fraud and services not rendered. A compromised can be reached in the form of a HIGH discount. Or a full refund. Please no generic response. Take time to address issues on an individual basis

I recently purchased a sofa from Trey at Ashley Furniture. This is the second time I have dealt with Trey. He’s very knowledgeable on the inventory, works with you until the job is completed and is very kind and professional salesman.

Plenty of good options to choose from at various price points. Our salesman, Trey, was very helpful but also left us to browse at our own pace. Pleased with the store - hoping we will be just as pleased when we have the furniture delivered.

Ashley furniture is quality furniture. The salespersons are friendly and knowledgeable and make it easy to find what you're looking for. We've dealt with Ashley for over 2 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else for our furniture.

We bought two matching recliners here, and now a year later are still happy with our purchase!

I had my couch since 2019, still under warranty, the back brace broke and I have mold on the bottom of all 3 cousins. A man came out in August and never returned. I’ve called more than 10 times and I get nowhere. I do not recommended using Ashley Furniture.

Lazy sales workers wouldn't even get up from sitting to help out and even suggested they didn't have what I seen on the website at the store without ever looking at the picture. Even after I located the item I was looking for I had to go back to where they were sitting to get some help... Needless to say I won't be going there again. Not to mention I was the only customer in the store at the time. I don't see that store being opened long at this location if everyone receives the same customer service I got.

DO NOT SHOP FOR FURNITURE HERE!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would! When I ordered my dinner table, I asked them approx. how long until it would be delivered. They said within 1 month. After 3 months passed, I still hadn't even heard from them. I found the EXACT same table at Erie Furniture for $600 less and it was delivered the next day! When I went to cancel my order with Ashley, they said I would have to pay a restocking fee which was $700!!!! Not to mention, the customer service was horrible during all of this. I will never recommend Ashley Furniture!!!

Don't buy from here if you want furniture. If you want to just give them your money then go for it! They will take your money but NEVER send you the furniture you paid for. They will also not refund you your money. Don't bother contacting their corporate hotline, it's a joke.They will also not help you in the store. I don't buy their excuses anymore about delays being caused by the pandemic. I have used Google Lens(lookup how to use it to find the same furniture online for CHEAPER), and have bought the identical furniture online. Online furniture stores have delivered in less than 2 weeks, NOT 7 months! I'm going to have to dispute the charge with my credit card company since I was scammed. Overall this was my first and last time buying from Ashley, what a scam company.

I couldn't find a friendly person

We found a table we liked at the store in Sandusky and bought it but a couple days later saw the same one on line where they were selling for $400 less. When we called them about the price difference they became very unprofessional with us. After much back and forth we got some of the difference in dollars back but not all. They also charged us $159 for delivery but the on line order was free delivery. We love the table but from now on I’ll look on line first.

Do not use this store! Or any of their locations unless you want to replace your tablets and phones. Spent almost 4k on furniture and the delivery guys jacked my tablet. Yes you have reached out but nothing was done. ASHLEYS RESPONCE You told me you would contact HR. Have heard absolutely nothing. BUYER BEWARE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUALITY FURNITURE THAT WILL PAST GO ELSEWHERE. We purchased furniture from Ashley in Sandusky, Ohio. Never again, the warranty does not cover what employees state when you purchase your furniture. We have not had the furniture even 2 years and it is falling apart at the seems as the gentleman said at the distribution center after reviewing the photos of my furniture. I have went back and forth for 3 weeks now. The warranty company will not fix it even though I was told by a manager at the store, even if I took a knife to it and cut it, it would be covered. I have went back and forth with the store, warranty comapny and distibution center. They' refuse to do anything else. Warranty does not stand with what is preached. Company does not stand with the products they sell.

If you buy furniture from here just don't buy the warranty. The sales person might be convincing making you think it's worth it but it's not. They will find a way to not cover anything with the warranty even if you your warranty paperwork says it's covered. Don't trust the workers they are just trying to sell you something.

Felt like once we showed up with website pricing they wanted nothing to do with us. Not a soul in the store and the manager couldn't pull himself away from his phone long enough to even say hi or thank you, guess playing with your phone is what a manager is for. Yes it was a clearance mattress and I asked to have it removed from the floor and they weren't sure they could even do that on a weekend. When we picked up on a Saturday they don't have any service available in the warehouse so don't bother even thinking about picking up on the weekend. I didn't expect the salesperson to do anything, but again did not see the manager supposedly he was on the phone. They never even tried to wrap the mattress over a week, I can't believe they didn't deliver a mattress that week and could have used a bag they delivered to reuse. Dragged the mattress out by ourselves by the time I got the mattress in the trailer the door was being closed, felt like ,"don't let the door hit you in the rear end." The owner of this franchise should consider replacing this manager with one of the sales people or the lady that did our order at the front desk she was very efficient and very nice. Can't give much a recommendation because I just didn't feel welcome or comfortable there the first time or returning. I've had better service at Big Lots, and I'll bet their markup isn't as good. I am giving 2 stars because the customer service was great but we have had nothing but trouble since we got the couch. We already had to have it sent out because a bolt in the recliner snapped in half and the day they were suppose to deliver it back we got a call saying they forgot to put the couch on the truck. Now we just had 2 screws fall out. We haven't even had it for a year yet. Next time we will go somewhere else hoping to get a better Quality couch for the money we spend.

This was by far the best furniture buying experience we have ever had in our almost 34 years of marriage! Carrie was professional, quick, and concerned with us getting a great deal. She went above and beyond in offering better deals than we could even dream up. On top of that, I asked if they provided Veteran's discounts and she said she would mention it. Most places give 10% but they automatically added a 20% discount on top of the other deals they offered. Just a great buying experience all around. We have not received the furniture yet and will update our review to include the delivery of all the pieces.

For the love of GOD, avoid this store at all costs. I have never had such a horrific shopping/customer service experience in my life. The employees are not knowledgeable, the policies are unclear, and management needs an intricate lesson in communication skills. Connie was incredibly rude to my husband, and I will never step foot into another Ashley HomeStore. Here's a small list of things I would rather do than shop at this establishment: chop each of my fingers off, swerve into oncoming traffic, be mauled to death by a grizzly bear, and/or repeatedly give myself a swirly in a public restroom. In conclusion, stay away from this place.... Stay far, far, FAR away. I promise, the next time I need furniture I will widdle my own from wood before ever thinking about stepping foot into this condemned facility.

Placed our order in June/July. We were told estimated 12 weeks for delivery. That would have put us into October. Checked on order and it was a couple weeks behind, still that was ok. Checked again and was told half our order was ready to ship with a delay in the couch. Did a follow up and was told that they were waiting on the reclining parts to come in and that we are the next to get build. Almost now another month and we are being told it will not be done till March!! Spoke to our sales person and was told those dates change daily. This has been the worst sales experience I have ever had. I will not be doing business with this company again. They have not even offered any compensation for our time, and I have to call to follow up on our order.

We lucked out and also got a GREAT mattress and accessory package on sale, and never felt pressured or upsold. The warenty on our items is also amazing. My husband wanted a recliner for his Man cave. It took less than 1/2 hour to pick as chair, pay for it and get it loaded in my truck.

Very friendly staff. Knowledgeable, answered all questions we had. Was told they would match online pricing, which they did, but would not honor online discount. Also told us the 4 year warranty is not available online. After leaving the store I found that a five year warranty is, in fact, available online. Would cancle my order and just order online, but they charge a 25% cancelation fee.

ZERO STARS Our experience was absolutely awful. Yes covid made things a bit difficult I get that. But there is a line, we ordered our couch September 27th 2020 and was told we were to receive our couch in December 2020. We understood the wait was due to covid and we were ok with that. December 12th came along we got our couch, I mean most of it.... Our last piece was wrong so they said it was going to get tous end of January, then February and then March. We got our last piece on March 15th, it was broken and bent. It was the last straw, it was 6 months of waiting and screwing around. The only thing left for Ashley Furniture to do was to refund our money and take the couch back. They can't screw that up right?.Wrong. We waited and waited for our return then finally we called and they were supposed to call us to refund back to our card, that would have been nice to know so we could go and find a new couch, which we did and it actually comes in today. Furniture Palace was able to order our couch and deliver it under a week by the way. I will never shop with Ashley Furniture again, the disorganization of that company is insane. Don't shop with Ashley, save your money and your sanity.

About 6 months after having it, We started seeing some fraying and rapid wear. Trey and his manager Let us we pick out a different couch not once but twice! We purchased couch, loveseat, tables and chair for the new addition to our home in the beginning of September. We finally received loveseat & tables in time for Christmas. Was told couch & chair should be in by end of February...... Kristine Dupont was very helpful & friendly. Heard from her today, she said end of this month. As I said it was for our addition, so we have pieced together old furniture to fill this beautiful new room. We were told 8-12 weeks. IT Has been 5 1/2 months. My hope at this point is we have it by Easter!! Our loveseat that was delivered at Christmas will look used by the time we get our couch.

If I could give zero stars I would! I am so upset with this experience. I ordered a mattress and box spring back in July, and was told 6-8 weeks for delivery with everything going on right now which is completely understandable. So my delivery day came and they were on time, And the guys were extremely nice, but my box spring would not fit up the stairway in my house. I was told that they would send a split next time, and my delivery was rescheduled.. a few weeks go by and my next delivery date comes, and they sent the exact same thing, and I missed work to be home for the delivery. After that the salesperson finally texted me and gave me options for a different box spring, but I had ordered a bed from the website and no longer needed a box spring so I called to cancel. She was unavailable, and apparently no one else could help me, and a few days later I get another email saying I had a delivery scheduled.. I was already irritated so I just said whatever I’ll just take it since they obviously aren’t willing to work with me on it.. now here I am delivery day for the THIRD time and THEY SENT THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN! I called the store and my sales person said that there is nothing I can do because I signed a ‘contract‘, so I can either get the box spring that I don’t want, or pay a restock fee for an item that I HAVE NOT EVEN RECEIVED! I was finally done arguing and said that I will just pay the fee, so she told me that someone would call me back on Monday and then hung up on me! I was happy at first and I understand that things happen, but once there was a problem they were so unprofessional! I will never be ordering from here again!

Customer service was aweful, old blonde followed and nagged me from the minute I walked in. Left within 10 minutes. Not sure how you can keep your doors open when "Nothing is available for 8 months" or when your sales team drives customers out before they shop. There's a reason the parking lot is always empty.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Purchased furniture July 5, given expected delivery date of 8/16 I called on 8/10 and was told looking good and that I would receive a call on 8/13 with delivery time. I had my furniture hauled away and carpet shampooed. On 8/13 I received a call furniture not in and would be in August 26. I call And then told 2nd or 3rd week of September. Called again, October 4th, next call mid October. Told I can’t cancel order. If it’s in deliver it, if not why can’t I cancel...never again will I buy from Ashley!!

Long story short, I will never order from them again. Over priced for the quality. The Sandusky store's grand opening sale prices were more expensive than on Ashley's website. Delivery is slow and gets pushed back. It took multiple deliveries and service technicians due to incorrect pieces delivered and some that were not put together properly.

Lots of stylish home accessories such as wall, table and shelf art. Majority of the tables, dressers and night stands are made of particleboard, which is okay, if you understand what you are getting for your money. Staff is nice though.

People in the store were nice, but that’s about it. My daughters bedroom set got delivered on a Thursday AM. They are putting it together and realize that the footboard was put together wrong prior to arrival and they couldn’t fix. They blamed the manufacturer and said “at least you can put her on a mattress on the floor.” She’s 2.5 years old, yeah okay. So then they call me later that day and say the soonest they can re-deliver that one piece would be Tuesday. So that’s 5 days without a bed for my daughter (I took her whole bedroom set down at 1am when I got home from work, prior to them coming.) they said it’s in stock at their BG location, but that they don’t have availability to deliver it. And that if I wanted it sooner, I could drive to BG and put it together myself. Also, not happening, because then you lose warranty. I called the store to try to figure it all out, they’re sending me a $50 gift card (which doesn’t even get you a pillow in that store).so lesson learned. They left the bed half put together with screws and pieces all over the room, so no room to even put anything in their for her to sleep in. Tried them out Bc they’re new to this area and fully regret it!! They got their money and didnt care that they screwed up or that I had no bed for my daughter. Completely ridiculous!

Prices are way to high, you have to order everything off of computer. The sales guy didnt not know any prices or availability. I can go right down the road and can get the samething without ordering and cheaper same brand and model.

Really?!?! They want to charge a customer $50 to bring furniture from their warehouse in Bowling Green to Sandusky when making a purchase. Uh no thank you. I will be taking my business elsewhere in town.
